"Near the Louvre, this restaurant is the epitome of classy elegance and crisp designer style. The quality of the ingredients is impeccable, and each dish is spot on, crafted delicately and precisely. The chef slips subtle Japanese references into his recipes, such as koshihikari rice with roast scallops, or umeboshi with Racan pigeon. The pastry chef's creations slot seamlessly into this inventive score, a case in point being the ever so subtle white grape dessert. The front-of-house team smoothly and apparently effortlessly supervises every detail of this culinary cocoon. A hipster chilled vibe meets polished professionalism – an unbeatable match!" - Michelin Inspector

The 38 Essential Restaurants in Paris

"Hidden on a small side street on the edge of Les Halles in the heart of Paris, this intimate restaurant sports contemporary decor of cutout wooden paneling and an open kitchen. It’s become one of the most sought-after reservations in the city for the superb contemporary French cooking of young chef Thomas Meyer, the former sous chef to Anne-Sophie Pic at her three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Valence. Meyer presents his cooking in a tasting-menu format that showcases his perfectly tuned creativity, love of fresh seasonal produce, and culinary loyalty to his native Jura in the east of France. The menus evolve regularly, but standouts of a recent meal included a grilled cepe mushroom with meadowsweet-flavored sabayon and a sauce of deeply reduced mushroom jus and white miso; sea bream with kale in Granny Smith apple juice with a gelee of lovage; roast pigeon in a sauce of its own gizzards with green cardamom and citrus; and an intriguing dessert of rice pudding wrapped in rice roll with mirabelle plums stewed with vin jaune. Located in the First Arrondissement." - Alexander Lobrano

The 25 Best Restaurants In Paris 2024 - Paris - The Infatuation

"At Granite, the staff wear matching beige pants and white button-downs and the silverware gets its own handmade ceramic holders. But there’s nothing stuffy about this spot around the corner from the Louvre. The inside feels very country home-meets-contemporary art museum, with exposed beams painted white, suspended decorative light fixtures, and white porcelain plates in the shape of bark.  The three-, five-, or seven-course tastings (starting at €75 for lunch and €135 for dinner) feature flavor pairings like wood-fired scallops smothered in a smokey turnip, anise, and butter sauce, and a saffron and mango sorbet for dessert that might just be the star of the meal. With only 26 seats, it’s an intimate, quiet space where you can comfortably spend the better part of an afternoon or evening." - Sara Lieberman

Had a wonderful lunch at Granite. Food was delicious without being fussy. Staff were unbelievably friendly and the head chef gave the 8 year old in our group a tour of the kitchen! Accommodated dietary requirements with no problem. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

We had an awesome experience in the restaurant. The food was innovative, touched every sensory aspect of a human being possible. Presentation, color, texture, smell and most importantly the taste. We were full to our eyeballs. We did not go for the wine pairing because we are not that big on wine. We just ordered a couple of glasses from what he recommended. They took 2 hours to complete the entire course. 2 hours very well spent. KUDOS to the team.

Tucked away in a quiet alley close to the Louvre, this restaurant provides flavor with personalized service. Our party of 6 had the tasting menu which provided great sampling of flavors and textures. A delicious dining experience

We had a fantastic dining experience at Granite in Paris. The restaurant offers a tasting menu that highlights seasonal ingredients with a lot of creativity and precision. Each dish was beautifully plated and perfectly balanced in flavor, showing why the restaurant has earned its Michelin star. The wine pairings were very well thought out, and the sommelier explained them with just the right amount of detail without overwhelming you. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The interior is modern and elegant but without being stiff and it feels welcoming. Portions were well-paced, and the entire meal lasted around two hours, which felt just right for this kind of fine dining. Granite is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy elevated cuisine in Paris without an overly formal atmosphere. Overall, a memorable experience and one I would gladly return to.

Dined here in May 2025 for lunch before visiting the Louvre museum a stone throw away. Excellent, attentive service. Dishes were well executed and overall we felt comfortable and satisfied with the entire experience.

There were quite a few gnats flying around inside, which made it very hard to enjoy the meal. On top of that, I found a hair inside one of the fried dishes. I mentioned it politely, but there wasn’t really a sincere apology. They brought out an “extra dish” for the person who got the hair, but it was basically just reheated vegetables. To be honest, once I saw the hair, I completely lost my appetite. The pacing was also very slow—each course took more than 30 minutes, and the whole meal ended up lasting over 3 hours. The explanations of the dishes were difficult to understand, which made the experience even less enjoyable. Most importantly, the food itself was very disappointing. By the time a new dish arrived, I felt uneasy about even tasting it. Overall, I left feeling that the experience did not match the reputation, and it really wasn’t worth the money.

One of the most incredible food experiences I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was modern and chic. They contacted my dairy and gluten allergy without sacrificing the experience or taste. I cannot recommend Granite enough. It’s a 100/10 dining affair.
