What a supper place. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. Petronella our waitress was amazing. The food, ambience and soft music was perfect. It is expensive but the food was excellent and plentiful.

Couldn’t recommend enough. The food was superb and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Patronella. We had one guest with a dairy and egg intolerance and they were able to accommodate with slight changes to the dishes. Favourites included the Scallops, Venison and the Duck. The wine and cocktails were also delicious.

Fantastic food, wine and service. We had the tasting menu with the culture pairing and it was a phenomenal experience, particularly for the price we paid, which was very reasonable. Highlights were the goat cheese ravioli, the venison and the rooibos milk tart. Petronella was our waitress and she was wonderful, so kind, knowledgeable about the food & wine and welcoming. I cannot praise Grub & Vine enough, we will absolutely return next time we are in Cape Town!

Oh, this is such a wonderful experience! The restaurant is cozy and romantic - I recommend sitting by the windows and watching the people walking around. Laura and her team took excellent care of us. They explained the menu and made food suggestions that turned out to be exceptional. Laura suggested the gnocchi and it was probably the best gnocchi I have ever had! Overall a lovely and unique experience!

Laura was incredible and made our experience so memorable! She spoiled our Graduate with a congrats plate for dessert. I loved the gnocchi dish in the middle course. The pork belly was melt in your mouth delicious.
