"At Ohad Amzallag's restaurant a stone's throw from Place de la République, diners sample his cooking in convivial fashion, all seated at a large marble table d'hôte. The Israeli chef serves Middle Eastern-influenced cuisine that gives pride of place to seafood ingredients and fermented vegetables, such as oyster cream with mint granita, chilli and koshu; lobster and agnolotti with ricotta, spinach and sage cream; and a delicious cheesecake with caramelised garum." - Michelin Inspector

Where to Eat In Paris Right Now - Paris - The Infatuation

"This prix-fixe restaurant from a new-to-Paris Israeli chef serves plates that are far beyond the Levant. Sure, there might be a touch of tahini in a foam cream, but the six courses, which all intentionally lack spices and highlight fermentation instead, also feature the likes of yuzu, soy, tamari, and truffle. There are only 19 seats total: 12 are at a shared, high-top stone table, and another 5 are in the kitchen overlooking the mise en place. It all feels like a fun, intimate dinner party at a friend’s house, if your friend is the type to serve oysters topped with blue cheese (we were skeptical, but they were great)." - Sara Lieberman

The taste is always surprising! I always have regreat that « je manges comme oiseaux »😻 when I saw the black pasta/dumpling, I really thought they are birds eating little bean, sooo cute. My foodie friends always ask whether they can have more/ extra dish, because the taste is too good to stop. Ha~ I believe I’ll be back again soon~especially for my lovely Tokaji, the smoothie sweet vin blank.🎊

A fantastic restaurant where the Chef Ohad Amzallag gives his beautifl conception of mediterranean cuisine. Je likes to cook the textures of the recipe and respect each product. The wines are also tasty and Precious. Enjoy !

Guefen is truly a unique dining experience in Paris. The quality of the food rivals that of a Michelin-starred restaurant, thanks to the exceptional talent of the Israeli chef. The concept of everyone sitting at the same high communal table makes for an intimate and engaging dining atmosphere—exactly what the owner envisions to create a fresh take on dining. The dishes are a masterpiece of delicate flavors and exquisite presentation. The food is not just delicious but also perfectly portioned—you feel full but not overly so, which is ideal for an enjoyable evening. The attention to detail in both the cuisine and the overall experience sets Guefen apart. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an extraordinary meal in Paris!

My boyfriend took my to Paris for my birthday and this meal was the highlight. We were the only two dining and welcomed the chef and our host (I’m so sad I can’t remember his name) to share wine with us. The taste was incredible, I cannot explain it. Every single detail was beautiful and it was the loveliest birthday I could have wished for. Thank you so much to the chef (I cannot remember her name!) and our host and his wife.

We had a very good dining experience. The food was excellent, very balanced and surprising at the same time. The service was extremely kind and efficient. The wine was good (only negative point I would say is that they don't have a sommelier, but we didn't mind). All in all, we loved it!!
