"After a decade cooking at Larkspur’s beloved Picco, Chef Jared Rogers has grown well-attuned to the tastes of the polished Marin crowd. His Kentfield eatery is a neighborhood gem, but for residents with million-dollar homes. The menu is appropriately packed with dressed-up crowd-pleasers—from grilled king salmon with chimichurri and summery succotash to decadent flourless chocolate cake piled with chocolate ice cream.Donning soft leather booths, eye-catching wallpaper and a tiled central bar, the room has the feel of a cavernous old barn transformed into a luxe vacation hideaway. This holiday vibe continues through Co-owner Dustin Sullivan’s hand-crafted cocktails, like the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club—a tropical rum concoction with lime and grapefruit." - Michelin Inspector

New Marin Restaurant Guesthouse Serves American Food by Former Picco Chef - Eater SF

"Guesthouse is the shared vision of Jared Rogers and Dustin Sullivan, offering a menu of classic American food and cocktails, with a twist. Dishes include quail grilled and served with chanterelles and bacon stuffing, grits, roasted carrots, and game jus, and a prime steak dinner with Béarnaise. Much of the menu will be cooked over a six-foot J&R wood-fired grill. Small plates like Dungeness crab cakes with remoulade are available, alongside soups, salads, and pastas. Cocktails include a 'properly made Martini' and a mezcal negroni. The 110-seat space features warm wood, brass, and patterned grey and white wallpaper, plus a concrete bar seating 16. Guesthouse is open seven days a week from 4 p.m.- 10 p.m.; happy hour from 4 p.m.- 5 p.m." - Ellen Fort

Absolutely loved our dinner at Guesthouse Marin! We started with the Cocktail Puffy Shirt, a fun and flavorful drink made with rum, mezcal, pineapple, orgeat, lime, and bitters. Refreshing and perfectly balanced. The kale salad was crisp and vibrant with shaved kale, crispy shallots, sesame, pecorino a great starter. The highlight for me was the wild mushroom gnocchi 🥰 pillowy, earthy, and full of depth with chard, chili, and an intoxicating truffle butter aroma. We also had the wood-grilled king salmon, beautifully seared and served over a creamy corn succotash with sweet red pepper and a bright herb sauce on top. It was flavorful, seasonal, and satisfying. Can’t wait to come back again!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding ceremony with a meal here and the entire experience was phenomenal. The entire Guesthouse team was lovely and kind, creating a memorable experience and atmosphere we will never forget. The food, the drinks, the service and the hospitality were top notch.

Heard awesome things about the restaurant so wanted to try it out. Ambience and wait staff, fantastic. Food, some dishes were great while others flat. Cocktails, highly recommend, they know what they’re doing. The details- If you want one of the booths, you HAVE to request it on a Friday-Sunday night. Pretty annoying when we asked to have a booth and one stayed completely empty our entire meal…weird but ok? The staff is SO nice and incredibly friendly, ready to help with any questions. They were attentive without being pushy and had great attention to detail. Their cocktails are fantastic- perfectly executed and well balanced. Kudos to the bartender who had a full bar to attend to as well. The food. This is where things got a little dicey. The special menu said crab cake appetizer and a halibut entree - love these so wanted to try. The crab cakes….were not cakes. I don’t even know if there was that much crab in them at all. They were as big as a dino nugget each, with zero flavor. The remoulade on top and romesco sauce on bottom were the only flavors to the dish. The halibut was SUPER inconsistent, each piece coming out of the kitchen in varying sizes. The overall portion was very small, barely making it an entree size. On the core menu, we also got the radiatore bolognese dish. Sauce was fantastic but the pasta was wellllll over cooked. Huge bummer. For the better dishes, the saffron arancini were fantastic and super flavorful. The cioppino was MASSIVE and had so much to it and a beautiful piece of grilled sourdough for dunking. The fried chicken sando was a little smaller than expected, but the sauciness and flavor well made up for it. Needless to say, the staff was lovely, but the food needs some solid adjustments. I would recommend sitting a the bar (it’s very popular) and grabbing an app there instead.

Over the years, I've driven by this place, and today I met up with a friend, and we had a great dinner. Their portions are big enough for you to share with someone. The atmosphere was perfect, very mellow, but modern and warm. We had three different dishes, and all of them were just amazing. They had this shrimp toast dish (I can't remember the full name) but it was so good!! Forsure check this place out and enjoy!!

Google
The ambiance was nice, and the food was really good. The ahi tuna tartare was especially delicious, our favorite appetizer. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the service was excellent and friendly. They change their menu occasionally, which is nice because you can try different dishes. I prefer seating outside when available because there's more space and it's not as loud. Seating inside is also nice, but when it's crowded, you get too close to the person sitting next to you, if seating at the two-person tables.

I recently dined at the Guesthouse Restaurant in Kenfield, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the steak filet mignon grilled to perfection, and it was nothing short of incredible! The steak was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Each bite melted in my mouth, and the seasoning was spot-on. It truly was the highlight of the meal! The overall dining experience was exceptional, with a great selection of dishes and a cozy ambiance that makes it perfect for any occasion. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by the Guesthouse Restaurant—it's a gem that you don't want to miss!

Google
Great all round experience. Excellent service, quick and very professional. Food was very good if a little under seasoned. Disappointed there was no bread offered, and the toast pieces with the tuna tartare looked like they were out of a packet. Steak was properly medium rare, and delicious. A little pricey but, you have to pay a bit more for quality these days, so not unreasonable.

Google
The inside is super cute, but the menu used to be a lot better. I got the bolognese and it was way too spicy. Then we ordered bread service and it was 4 skinny slices for $4. So it’s now $1 for a sliver of bread in Marin lol. The service was great though and our server was so attentive. FYI You can expect it to be over $100/person. It was $250 for just me and my friend and we shared most things.

Yelp
Lovely, lovely, lovely! So glad we chose this for our date night last week! I was between here and their new tapas place, Mijo, but the menu here looked better to me. Definitely need a reservation because this place gets packed. Fortunately, we'd snagged one for 7pm and we came early to sit at the bar for a cocktail and an app. The cocktails were well mixed and not overly sweet. I had a special, called the Optimist, that was delightful and my husband stuck with his fav Old Fashioned, which they did well. We started with the crab cakes, since we saw them at a nearby diner's place and they looked yummy, followed by the artichokes. I have to say, the artichokes were the standout for me! Though the crab cakes were also quite tasty - full of crab, not overly breaded, with a flavorful sauce and fresh tomoatoes - the artichokes were unique. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was kind of like the artichoke heart+ because it had some of the thinner, inner leaves included, so it wasn't just the heart. Woodfired to perfection and with a wonderful sauce, sort of like a pesto. We both agreed they were a hit! Highly recommend. Once we switched to our main table in the outdoor area, which I loved because it was a bit quieter and more secluded, we ordered our mains. Cioppino for husband and sausage orchiette for me. Both were wonderful. I don't think you can order a bad dish here. For dessert, the flourless chocolate cake was divine! Followed, of course, by another cocktail at the bar - every seat full at this point! Lovely meal, excellent service, and nice ambiance. Perfect for a date night, friend get together, or casual cocktail at the bar.

Yelp
Hands down my new favorite spot in Southern Marin. Service was exceptional (waiter even brought me Maldon Salt, they have flakey salt!). Food was carefully curated, fresh, and beyond delicious. I have been looking for the perfect Filet M and finally found my place. Such a gem. Can't wait to return.

Stanley Z.

Yelp
Overpriced. Barbecue sauce slathered on filet mignon and ribeye, and calling au jus. Bruschetta appetizer was tasteless. Waiter was good. Service fee added. Caesar's salad was small and bland. Rip off. Stay away.

Yelp
We came over for date night yesterday, awesome relaxing place for a good dinner and drinks night. Our server was really sweet and helpful ( forgot to get her name :/ ) . We had corn on the cob, mashroom gnocchi and saffron arancini! Everything was delicious but to top it all we tried their delicious 3 flavor crème brûlée! I have never had chocolate creme brûlée before, it was the highlight of the night.

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant. The cioppino is to die for, the fries are delectable, and I always love to have an extra dirty martini to top it off !

Yelp
Something has happened to the service and chef. Had the WORST experience there last Friday. Took a friend to celebrate her birthday and it was embarrassing and frustrating how poor the food was, and the service was way too spotty!! I will never waste another dime there!! They couldn't even cook a filet right or the accompanying Brussels sprouts!! Ridiculous prices for a disaster meal.

Yelp
We got seating on Dec 31st. That was great. BUT. The food came out lukewarm. For $40 a plate. We hoped for the better as we have eaten several times before. The noise level is to be expected noisy which is no problem. The staff is great and appetizers came out hot: So we left disappointed, (4) entrees Luke warm. Although server offered to heat it up. It. Must have been waiting on the last dish , pasta. Which came hot. Normally this is 5 star. For us Coffee cups could be warmed to keep liquid hot.. Will come back for fresh pasta. We had short ribs and nyc strip, pork chop. And pasta Desserts. We're Hella good! Better than the entrees

Yelp
Came for a work dinner and the service was very efficient and attentive. Low lit ambiance. Everyone enjoyed their food and especially the desserts! Gotta try the banana pudding and flourless chocolate cake. My burger was average I'd give it a 7/10. Plenty of parking in the back.

Yelp
Great as always. Guesthouse continues to be so excellent - in my opinion one of the very best in Marin. We started with Ahi Tuna tacos, which were so tasty and with a nice crunch. The mains were the special Halibut, and the Wild Salmon. Both were very delicious! For desert, the lemon tart with added vanilla ice cream. So good! Our server, Laurel, was very helpful and personable. In summary, highly recommended!

Yelp
Wonderful food and service! A great meal! The drinks were great, and the bartender makes her own bitters that you can buy.

Yelp
The food is fab. The ambiance great and service is excellent. Highly recommend. Worth it!

Yelp
THE. FRIES. WERE. ICE. COLD. Clearly they had been sitting forever (a statement about the service). And the truffle oil never made it on top. Cold fries with no oil and all the parmesan at the bottom. Food was served sporadically. Appetizers did not arrive at once. Bartenders need to up their game, too. Three of four drinks arrived. Since we have manners, we waited and watched our drinks get watery. When the drink did arrive, no garnish. When I asked for one, it took 10 minutes and was wrong. Lillet always gets an orange twist, not a lemon. This is basic shit. Training clearly lacking from too young arrogant bartenders. Food sounded great on the menu but the flavors were pedestrian (like Denny's level flavor: bland). At $350 (before tip), we will go to vin Antica or even The Corner Bar before coming back. I know we shouldn't expect much from Marin, but we were really disappointed. Also, do not eat outside. It's like dining in a trailer.

Yelp
Excellent food, cozy atmosphere, magnificent service, and the most important. Extraordinary wine and cocktails! I highly recommend it

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, waitstaff rushed. I ordered the pork chop. It was tough, dry and completely lacking flavor. I'm a much better cook.

Cathy L.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the environment is lovely. The service is very sporadic and disorganized. Not at all on the level it should be at a restaurant like this.

Laura P.

Yelp
Fantastic choice in Sedona! Definitely opt for outside and the likely wait that choice requires. This was our first food-related stop in Sedona and we benefited from Yelp to steer us in the right direction. I highly recommend the prickly pear margarita while you're waiting. The one movie disappointment was that the chicken added to my salad lacked seasoning.

Yelp
I decided to try this place for my girlfriends birthday trying to find a balance between semi fancy but not too fancy and found Guest house! It was super easy to book a reservation online and I was able to get a table just 2 days before. The location has a parking lot in the back with plenty of parking. There is both indoor and outdoor seating which you and pick on your reservation prior to booking. The outdoor seating is also really nice with heaters and it's all covered so it's almost like you're still indoors. I booked an indoor reservation however. There are specials on every day of the week but we came on a Monday which the special was for Prime rib. What we ordered: 1. Crispy Brussel Sprouts: Very crispy and flavorful! I love the sauce that it came with but honestly the Brussel spouts didn't need. The only thing was that it has a bit too much citrus or too much lemon on top which made it a bit too sour. 2. Cauliflower Chowder: Super rich and delicious. Tasted just like rich and smooth clam chowder. I was surprised how good it was being made from caluliflower! Loved this. 3. Prime Rib: SOOOO GOOD! The cut was a bit small but the smokey flavor was fantastic. I think the quality was almost on par with house of prime rib. I'm really particular with my cuts since I've had HOPR so much and it's made me picky. This prime rib was very comparable and delicious! 4. Chicken Sando: Chicken was very crispy and moist. The coleslaw was very tart however and didn't exactly go that well with the sandwich. It was good but not amazing. 5. Vanilla Ice Cream with Brownie: Loved the brownie! Something I also love was they don't just dump the ice cream right on top of the brownie and allow us to mix it our self which I like better. The brownie was so rich and chocolatey. The ice cream also very rich and it was the perfect combo. 6. Easy Money: Very good and also very strong. I used to live in new orleans and the heavy pours reminds me of the drinks from there. It was delicious and exactly what I was expecting with the citrus and basil. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. Our waitress was amazing and super attentive despite it being busy. She was so polite. The table next to us actually had a bit of difficult customers and she handled it like a boss. The prices are very fair for the quality and ambiance. Definitely would be back!

Yelp
Excellent service from Antonio, nice guy and fired dishes as we took our time, wow we had a 3 hour dinner. never a rush, enjoyed our mother's day dinner, and Antonio and the staff didn't come back too often to check in, which I thought was very nice for us to continue talking and enjoying ourselves. All the dishes were on par for new american. nothing was bad, maybe I had more truffle flavored fries in the past, but the aioli, romesco, even ketchup lol were good sauces with the fries. Our favorite was the grilled maitake mushrooms, nice smokey flavors, perfectly grilled with lovely texture, tarragon aioli and lemon, delightful accompaniments. Will be back soon!

Yelp
Another Marin restaurant with mediocre food. Rib eye was thinly cut. Tomahawk pork chop was pretty good. Ambience is nice but overall, really don't see what the fuss is all about.

Yelp
This restaurant is a unique jem located right next to half day Cafe. The decor is an elegant modern vibe with an inviting space. I have eaten here a handful of times and every time they miss the mark on seasoning. It's as if this place is terrified of salt... The quality of the dishes is spectacular. Fresh and imaginative. I love the raw oysters that are accompanied by 3 different in house sauces; from shaved citrus ice to spicy cocktail sauce and a devine herb mignotte .... it truly is the absolute trio of awesomeness. Not to mention the freshness of the oyster and perfect shucking... no shell included. The fish bite app was a bit steep in price for the size and the hot fish sitting on the cold pancake and creme fraiche was not pleasing to my palate. The heirloom tomato salad with fresh burrata, pesto and balsamic is a wonderful dish when a bit of salt is added... if they would only add a bit of finishing salt to brighten the tomato it is a perfect bite. The pasta and meatsauce was also just slightly under seasoned. But with a bit of help from the salt shaker it is excellent. Infact I dare say, the best pasta Boulognese I have had in Marin. If they fixed their seasoning issue this place would easily be a 4-5 star in my opinion.
google avatar

Kyle F.

Yelp
Would have been 5 stars if they were not out of so many things we ordered. My friend was exited for the blue cheese filet and I was looking forward to the horseradish short ribs. Apparently the menu just changed so they didn't have either. After the disappointing news I ordered the scallops and my friend got a lettuce wrapped burger. The waiter then came back and informed me they were out of scallops too. I ended up with the pork chop along with a few appetizers. We weren't huge fans of the ceaser salad as it was in large pierces not enough dressing and lacked flavor but the truffle fries were great. They have a remsco chile sauce which is one of the best condiments I've ever had. My pork chop was fine considering it was my third pick and my friend enjoyed their burger. Overall it would have been a great experience if they had what we wanted but we will give it another go one day.
google avatar

Linda G.

Yelp
Did not feel like a guest here - more like a queeeeen. The drink menu is remarkable! Tried four different drinks and not one disappoint. Got some food recommendations from the waiter and was all super delicious. The crab cakes was chef kiss! We got the "big 'ol cookie" for dessert- pro tip: ask for a sundae version and they will add ice cream/whipped cream and a cherry on top.

Yelp
Hey, we got options over here but ya just try to sit at the bar it's our favorite spot when & if we get lucky to find a spot for two. This place is lively has very good food & lots of banter. it's busy most of the time & lots going on here & the name speaks for itself. We have been here a few times & I have made a friend each & every single time. Maybe there's something in the water. Overall a solid 5 for Great drinks, Atmosphere & Good food. It's the place to be & Friday and Saturday night in this busy Marin quintessential town. Come join us at the guesthouse.

Yelp
The food, ambience, snd service were top notch. My daughter and son-in-law joined us after we were finishing our entrees. They changed tables for us and took care of our kids with a smile. We will be back.

Yelp
Outside is a way more casual and not as great atmosphere, but the food is still good. I prefer the restaurant, however, for the price.

Yelp
The food is good and the service was excellent. A bustling spot in Kentfield that you'll want to return to. Definitely worth a try.

Yelp
We went here for a birthday and it was fabulous from beginning to end. They're outside dining is not finished yet, so I asked if they could possibly put us in some nice seating, preferably by a window. We were seated at one of the best tables in the house--a wonderful corner booth with broad street views. Our kale salad, two types of oysters, braised short rib, and impeccably seasoned pork loin were absolutely fantastic! The pomegranate lemonade is delicious--Just the right blend of sweet and tart. For dessert, the birthday girl ordered an apple Galette which they brought out with a candle and copious amounts of whipped cream! Off the charts delicious! Service was prompt and courteous from beginning to end. We highly recommend reserving a table 6 weeks in advance--this place was packed! Prices were high but seriously worth it. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Amazing food! We came here for a birthday party and it was perfect. This place is to go for date nights, birthdays, and even with friends. The ambiance is great, I'd recommend coming here, also the server was really sweet and nice. All the staffs are friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
We've been to Guest house in Kentfield about 5 times now. Every time we've eaten there it's been wonderful. However, tonight it wasn't what we've come to expect of their quality of cooking. We ordered a prime New York medium rare and pork chop, one of my favorite items. The steak came back medium well and the pork chop was dry. We sent the New York back for a medium rare cook and the pork chop was tolerable but I should have sent it back as well. The pork chop came with grits which were dry and firm. Not how they usually cook it. Wasn't sure if the chief was new or it was an off day but we were disappointed. We will give it another chance, it cook of been an off day, however if it happens again it either means the quality has gone down or something else is going on in the kitchen. Thank you

Yelp
First time coming here, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very lively evening inside this restaurant. Almost full but luckily I made reservations online(make sure you do that). They have a very nice evening ambiance here. People were chatty and socializing. Definitely a great spot to come get a drink, as they have a nice bar area. Tonight, I got a table with my girlfriend. We felt nice and cozy. Started the night off with the asparagus soup which we ordered as an appetizer to share. It was a nice light option before our entrees. For entrees my girlfriend got the strawberry fields salad and I got the short rib. Girlfriend liked the strawberries as they were ripe. Almonds were crunchy and the added chicken had a nice smokey grilled flavor. As for myself, this short rib knocked my socks off. I loved the combination of mashed potato, carrots, mushroom and the short rib. The sauce really pulled the dish altogether. Some of the best, if not, best short rib dish I've ever had. Such a great balance of flavor. And the meat very tender! We ordered some drinks as well to couple with our delicious meal. I had The Optimist and my GF ordered the Sunburned Cocktail. She mentioned it had a "little heat" to it and you'll feel the cayene in your throat. She did enjoy the drink. My drink tasted like a nice fresh mix of grapefruit and orange, with the hint of the vodka. Also enjoyed my drink. We ordered some truffle fries as well, which were nice and toasty. The sauces that came with the fries were also good. Service throughout was excellent and attentive. Not much wait in any stage of our meal while we were here. I'm very impressed. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
Went for New Year's Eve and it was such a good time. Decor was lovely and they offered new years flare. Drinks were on point and food portions were generous. Service was timed perfectly and our server was nice. We're definitely going back.

Yelp
food was delicious! service was superb!! ambiance was amazing! but mind the extra fees of "living wage" starting july 1st it is illegal to put any hidden fee's on the bill!! according to code 478 (sb 478)!!! the manager admitted that they just don't want to pay their employees a living wage. the prime rib 3 course was divine!! will come back! just hope to not see that stupid charge!

Yelp
Came here with friends for a belated birthday celebration and the service was EXCEPTIONAL! Gladys our server made our night special, her recommendations on both cocktails and food were on point!! The Sunburn cocktail is their take on the spicy margarita and it was fabulous! Easy to drink, balanced and spicy but not overly so. Food winner was definitely the Shrimp Toast for us, as well as the mushroom appetizer dish. All the food came out hot and fast. My friend got the Prime Rib and couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. Our visit to the Guesthouse was amazing. Gladys, thank you for the amazing experience and service. I look forward to coming back and trying the other dishes you recommend (specifically the Pork Chop)! Edit: on our way out I mentioned to the manager, Keith, how amazing Gladys was. He was super grateful that we chose to spend our friend's birthday at Guesthouse and was extremely professional. Thank you!!

Yelp
The food is really yummy and it's such a cute date night spot. You can tell this is a fave amongst the locals as it was a full house but we were still able to walk in and be seated quickly. A spot I plan on returning to!

Yelp
OK, so my son and I have birthdays in November one week apart, we wanted to go to Guesthouse to celebrate and have a great meal together. It was near the time that the kitchen would close and one person initially greeted us and said they were uncertain if you'd be able to still be seated however an amazing employee by the name of Julia swooped in recognize the situation and said follow me, we are seated at a nice booth table, she was our server for the evening (double score). The ambience is great and as other Yelp reviewers have stated you want to stay away from tables with large groups of people who unfortunately may not be, as they should, socially aware and considerate of other people wanting to enjoy a reasonably quiet meal. Yes, there was one group of 6 and two women ridiculously loud in talking and laughing incessantly, guess they thought they were at home..lol Anyways the ambience was excellent, our server Julia was professional, genuinely friendly and very helpful. My son ordered the petite filet mignon and I ordered a cheeseburger, a Caesar salad split which was the perfect portion for two people, he also wanted truffle fries w/extra truffles. I ordered a Coke which unfortunately wasn't cold so carbonation was flat when I mention this to Julia she was so helpful and offered other options of which I took a root beer and it was really tasty. I hadn't had a root beer in a couple years but it hit the spot with my super tasty burger. My son and I really enjoyed our experience at Guesthouse the food was excellent, the ambience great and service phenomenal. Julia knew that it was our birthdays and brought an awesome homemade big chocolate chip cookie for my son. I thanked her for being exemplary and making our experience extra awesome and special. I would recommend going to Guesthouse for an overall great dining experience. Thank you Julia for being an awesome person and professional alike. :-) Marc and Ryan

Yelp
The service and ambiance is top notch. Super intimate vibe and chill atmosphere. The food is mediocre. The menu is basic. I do not recommend ordering from their cocktail menu. The restaurant has a full bar, so I recommend ordering your go-to drink. I posted a photo of the dessert as it delicious; the only thing I recommend.

Yelp
It's been a while since we dined here, and my 3 stars may even be generous- but the food wasn't BAD. It just wasn't very good. My husband and I dined with friends and we had a lovely time, but I know we had a post-mortem review in the car like "meh, wouldn't go back." Just nothing special and if I'm going to go out to eat to a spot like this, I want something better than what I can make at home. If you're a good cook and want something better, it's maybe not the spot for you. I know I had cioppino and a side of fries. Nothing noteworthy to say about the cioppino - I remember the fries weren't great - maybe cold and not that crispy. I feel like if a restaurant like this is going to have fries on the menu they should be GREAT. It's fries. Seriously, get them to be GREAT.

Yelp
We loved this spot! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the vibe was great! It was warm and bustling, but not too loud, which is important to me. The oysters were great and had an interesting assortment of garnishes that we loved. The grilled Mitaki mushrooms were excellent! Perfectly cooked and a delicious starter. We'll go back for sure!

Yelp
I found this restaurant from the Michelin star website and it didn't disappoint. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the aesthetic of the restaurant. I ordered the pretty bird cocktail, which was a tasty whisky drink. Although, I'm glad the bartender offered to make it a little less sweet for me because I usually do an old fashioned. It came out perfect. The oysters were great too! They came with this jalapeño pepper ice, which was unique and Delish. For the entree, I ordered the sausage orecchiette. It looks unassuming in pictures but the dish is flavorful and the pasta is cooked perfectly. And it wasn't too heavy of a dish. Definitely would come here again. I believe the bartenders name was Andrew, he was very good at his job and he balanced a busy bar with service.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by here after a long day in Marin. Actually, we couldn't just "stop by" because their reservations for a Saturday night were nearly full. My husband made the reservation for a few days in advance and the only time left for two people was 5:15. We split a bunch of things so that we could try more items and everything was out of this world! The kale salad was perfectly seasoned! I highly recommend the burger - it was cooked perfectly. The interior of the restaurant is trendy and they have great service!

Yelp
Went for a date and dined in with friends here before. Decided to catch a drink on the spur of the moment. Love love the ambiance at night. Was delighted by the high end service that was achieved. Will be back shortly!

Yelp
You could make an entire meal from the appetizers alone. The inspired menu is eclectic and yet simple. The dishes key ingredients speak for themselves. The wine list features many selections for those just waiting a glass and offers superior variety above and beyond the ubiquitous California Zinfandel or Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that we see in almost every restaurant in northern California. Superior service rounded out the experience with personal contact with the owner and GM. It didn't feel overdone and we felt that everyone and everything was well orchestrated. Had the crab stuffed lobster and my mom had the King salmon for mains. Appetizers included oysters, the smoked trout bites, mushrooms and arancini. We still had room for the special dessert: peach cobbler. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
Ambiance was great and the service was passably fine. The food? Meh. The smoked trout appetizer came out looking amazing, but it was completely devoid of flavor beyond the potato cake it was served on. I had the game hen, which was pretty good. One of our party was vegan, and we asked the waiter what they could do. To his credit, he knew what the word "vegan" meant, and said, "yes, we just put all the vegetables on the plate", and boy, he wasn't kidding: when the plate came out it was just an assortment of root vegetables on a plate, swimming with olive oil. There was a red pepper sauce underneath which made it more appealing, but some beans, some pasta, or something would have made this more of a "dish" and less of an afterthought. It's 2023. Get with it! Nearly every table has at least one vegetarian/vegan at it!

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this place for over a year! This was worth the wait. THE FOOD: HEIRLOOM TOMATO SALAD W/ Peach, burrito, pesto, olive oil, aged balsamic If you love heirloom tomato salad then you're in for a treat. The combination of all of the ingredients makes this one a winner! SAFFRON ARANCINI (fried risotto balls) Wow. This was a nice surprise. The risotto balls are breaded and fried with the right about of crispiness in combination of softness of the risotto on inside. The black garlic aioli rounds of the this dish. You will not be disappointed. SUMMER GAZPACHO Enough said. Get the gazpacho. SPAGHETTI CACIO E PEPE I've only scene this made on TV and always wanted to try it. Yes, this was soooooo good. The right balance of olive oil, butter, English peas and parmesan. FRIED CHICKEN I'm not a fried chicken fan but this dish changed my mind. Lots of flavor and they take 2 days to marinate the chicken. Definitely a winner, winner, chicken dinner! THE SERVICE: Service was nice and courteous. We were seated immediately upon checking in. Other waitstaff were quick to clear our table when we were finished with each dish keeping our table as clean as possible. We will be coming back! COVID PROTOCOLS: As of May 30th, 2021, covid protocols are currently in effect meaning they are allowing a limited amount of indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. Masks must be worn whenever you leave your table to wander through the dining room. **RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED**

Yelp
Been here a bunch of times. The last two visits weren't great. This last time, the server made weird comments such as "wow! You guys ate that so fast!" And then later, "would you like another entree?" I've never had a server say anything like this... super weird and rude. We left without dessert. Probably not coming back for a year. We'll see if they improve...

Yelp
Came here for a Christmas Eve steak dinner and I had the bad luck of being seated with a waiter who basically refused to serve us. Instead we had the host and food runners checking in a few times, while the balding latino waiter (did not get his name) kept ignoring us. He only took our appetizer order, and then gave us the check an hour and 30 minutes later, after we had to ask for it. He was more than happy to give the table next to us five star hospitality and shrugged us off whenever we tried getting his help. I've never been subjected to this type of experience in a restaurant. It was mostly empty when we arrived. Really disappointed in the lack of professionalism of this individual and the staff's failure to realize the situation. Instead of ordering the steak I came for, I ordered a burger, and only because I did not want to ruin our dinner. Otherwise I wouldn't have ordered anything and just left.
