What a treasure trove of Italian foods! I discovered Gustiamo through a local restaurant that sources products from here. I made the trip down to the Bronx to stock up on on olive oil and left with a few other goodies, too. The warehouse is well organized with a wide variety of food stuffs all grown in or produced in Italy. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well! Be sure to schedule an appointment before you show up as this is a warehouse not set up like a traditional retail store. There is off-street parking.

AMAZING! I purchased the: Nettuno anchovie sauce: i actually found Gustiamo company through searching for this product. I loved how they make this speciality sauce from Campania were my family is from & so detail oriented. Gustarosso D.O.P san marzano tomatoes- sweet fresh & low acidity Santomiele sundried figs from Campari- what an excellent treat! Sundried tomatoes in evoo, brocclirabe & artichokes- all excellent! And many more. The prices are great! Considering this is a specialty importer. Fresh high quality products. Thank you!

As a gift a receive the Colomba Biasetto from a dear friend Trust me is unbelievable with an incredible taste. I was born in Naples ,Italy and i remember the taste of the Colomba at that time.Closing my eyes is exactly the same! It is a magical ´experience. So soft , so beautiful , so well presented in a colorful package. Can i have more along the year??I ll buy more more now on! It is a perfect Dessert . Highly recommend Gustiamo to shop Italian food products from specific and unique regions in Italy. I recently purchased jars of bottarga and worth every cent. This particular item is very specific to Sardegna, an island I miss very much. Being able to make a simple dish of spaghetti with bottarga is simply heaven. Bottarga is extremely hard to find in the U.S. and I am thankful for Gustiamo for carrying this product. Gustiamo included a cute note and a personal touch thanking us for giving them business. Excellent products and packaging, and prompt shipping. Great pastas with a wide variety, flower of sea salt, black olives, olive oils, tomatoes, sweets .... Had a very pleasant experience here today. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly, passionate about the food they sell. Their products are all top notch, so I'm very pleased with the goodies I picked up. Gustiamo sells great Italian products direct-to-consumer from their warehouse on Friday afternoons (2-4 pm) - be sure to place a "preliminary order" in advance online. The staff were very welcoming: they gave us a tour of the space and the products, answered all of our questions and showed us their "shelf of horrors." Their website and blog are also a great resource for cultural and historical information about their product offering. Worth a trip to the Bronx!

The rare Italian food supplier I trust. When you cut through the marketing noise of other suppliers you typically find nothing worth buying again. Gustiamo is like being in Italy (raised there, 20+ years in Switzerland). I was truly surprised and elated. Excellent product, noticeably better than the competition, at a price. If you want the best, fly to Italy. Second best, Guistiamo. Our third best are supermarket brands and recipes where ingredients aren't critical (American pasta "recipes" for casual or non-critical dining, sorry).

We were sent a very sweet gift from a friend containing products from Gustiamo. We look forward to trying the food. Unfortunately, nothing will make up for the fact that the food was delivered in a shoddy "recycled" wooden box that was falling apart completely and immediately gave both me and my fiancee splinters when trying to handle it (while shedding more splinters on the ground for our cat to eat and be harmed by). How lovely! We were barely able to remove the products from the box before we desperately tried to throw it away. We got more splinters in the process of frantically putting it in a trash bag where it belongs. Hilarious that the box comes with a card saying "I'm not trash, I'm a recycled box, re-use me!". Do not purchase products from Gustiamo unless you like splinters in your hands and all around your home.

Excellent real Italian products and kind service. After a visit through Italy and Japan, I began looking for specific brands of tomatoes and pastas I saw in the kitchens of many Italian restaurants - my search led me to Gustiamo. Their products really make a difference when you cook Italian food. REAL DOP products and the kind that good trattorias in Italy cook with, "slow food" ingredients made by special Italian food artisans. Excellent bronze-extruded dried pastas, Sicilian bergamot peels, jams from Lake Como, Piennolo tomatoes, etc. etc. and gold standard canned goods like Gustarosso San Marzano tomatoes. After several good experiences in a row, I'm now hooked!

I am impressed, Gustiamo was definitely terrific. Nice, welcoming and moderately priced. Very delicious and healthy. The team was extremely pleasant and service is fabulous. I can't rave any more about Gustiamo.

One of the very few places that has Casereccie Corte by Faella, and other Faella products. This pasta is by Pastificio Faella - Gragnano, considered by some to be the best dry pasta in the world. In my opinion, the texture and flavor of Faella is one of the best, and this particular shape holds the sauce very well. In 2012, the designated Italian authorities completed all investigations and granted Gragnano pasta producers IGP status. Faella is one of those producers. Faella does have other varieties of pasta, such as the Calamari, which is so named because it is shaped like cut calamari. About $8 for 1.1 lb./ 500gram package. I am a big fan of Fratepietro Bella Di Cerignola's. I have spent over $700 in this brand alone since March. I mean I am what you call an aficionado of olives. Tried every single kind and my favorite are Cerignola's green and black. I can eat olives every day alone and be fulfilled. Yeah it's that bad, I even love dirty martinis. There is only a few companies that offer food service size which I typically order in this olive which comes in a can. Gustiamo supplies their products in beautiful amphora size jars, the olives always come fresh and very prompt. I have a lot of these jars- I need a amphora jar hack. Any suggestions Yelpers? Gustiamo products are delivered in very nice packaging, the presentation of your package makes you want to order from them again and again. A few months back I received a order that didn't seem as fresh and Gustiamo made good on their product. They have very competitive prices and delivery fees aren't super high.
