The famous Michelin chef creation of the Wagyu burger without breaking a bank. This place is the bar seats outside two Michelin star kaiseki restaurant odo. It opens at 5:30pm and its first come first with two small tables and bar seats.they don’t take reservation so be prepared to wait if you don’t come at when it’s open. The interior is dark, hard to see the menu and the food with the little candle on the table. Flashlight is your best friend, especially to take a good photo of your food. Me and my partner shared the A5 Wagyu steak burger and foie gras Wagyu burger. The Wagyu is great eating by itself, it melts in your mouth, but I didn’t get the appear of in the burger, it’s also super messy to eat they will fall apart coming from the sides. Not sure if our foie gras is not cooked well. But it’s still cold in the middle. Wish they had seared a little bit longer to bring out the foie gras flavor. All the burgers are reasonably priced. Each order come with the fries. The drinks are not memorable, I had a sugar baby, which is very tiny portion. I specially asked for something not sweet, they recommend this one taste super sweet with a sweet dry plum in the bottom. Very disappointed. Overall, I’m glad I tried it and probably but it won’t be my go to burger spot.

They don’t take reservations, it’s walk in only! The vibe reminds me of the Raines Law Room, moody / dark / elevated. Cocktails are around $22-24. There aren’t that many seats but people usually leave after a drink or two. I saw a lot of people ordering burgers, will have to come back another time to try it.

The highest quality bar burger I’ve ever had. A+ stuff. Every component is thoughtfully chosen and put together. Honestly I’d skip the cocktails and just eat burgers here.

Good: Dishes were generally good. The signature burger is in the middle of Japanese and American style. The burns are not wet, but the meat included wagu. The truffles fries were soso. Yuzu? draft beer was good. Quite good Japanese whisky were in there. Cocktails seem good, but I didn't try. Bad: Beer is so tiny. Really tiny. The fries are cold. The restaurant is really small. The bartender is subtly unkind. First, when the bartender made cocktails, the equipment was put in front of me. Not his desk, my desk. I have never seen such things before. Second, I asked to keep the menus so that I could read carefully, but they took it after a few minutes. Third, when I read the menu, the bartender spoke to me as if to rush me. He was in front of me, so he definitely noticed that I was still reading the menus. When I think the other tables, I can tell that was rushing me. I felt it was rude. But I understand that the restaurant is small and other people were continually coming so I just finished my meal without any additional order. What I am always saying is that the servers and bartenders affect not only the memory of the restaurant but also the taste of the dishes. But, unfortunately, I feel good service restaurants are decreasing worldwide.

The bar is called Hall, located on W 20th Street. It’s a Japanese-style cocktail bar connected to a two-Michelin-star Kaiseki restaurant called Odo (same owner). Today, though, I just came for the cocktails. The drinks have a distinct Japanese flair, featuring Japanese spirits and whiskeys if you’re interested. One standout menu item here is the burger. I hadn’t even had dinner yet, but I had to try it—super juicy! Great cocktails and delicious food!

Great ambiance and a nice cozy environment. There's two small tables (one that sits two and another that's three) and outside of that it's bar seating. The service is fantastic. The burgers were beautiful however for our palate far too salty. I think it's the sauce that overpowers the entire burger so it's all you can taste...umami overload. Another negative was that food came out and was warm (not hot) which was a hit disappointing. Fries are amazing but as much as we love our burgers they were not to our liking. Perhaps it's better without the sauce or with moderation on the sauce. We've heard great things about the fish and chips we will try that next.

This place is amazing and that's an understatement. I had the Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Burger and a Mezcaloma. The hostess and bartender was very attentive despite Hall being extremely busy. The steak on the burger was pure fat and so messy but in a good way. The interior resembles a western saloon. The Japanese take on American culture bleeds through the cuisine and decor. I recently found out that RYUICHI SAKAMOTO curated the playlist here. REST IN PEACE.

Inconspicuous little gem!!! Incredible cocktails, delicious burger. I was truly taken aback by my first sip and first bite. Really calm, elegant ambiance. Fast & friendly service. Stopped in here for a moment for a bite to eat and now I want to bring everyone I know.

Hall is amazing. Their bartender Eddie is super friendly and down to earth. Burgers were great. But what really surprised me was the pepper wings. At first it felt like a soy glazed Korean fried chicken. But the crispness of the wing is crazy. The tender meat, the light delicate crisp, and that extra layer of black pepper really made this dish memorable.

{Overall: 5; Food: 5} Service: 5; Ambiance: 5 I'd read the reviews of Hall and heard about it from a friend. I finally found a chance to stop in for a casual Friday dinner. I was worried that it would be packed - from what I saw online, seating was limited and the reviews were so good. When I arrived at 7:30, it was fortunately empty. A very attentive and friendly bartender served us at the bar. We had the single beef burger, chicken karaage and clam chowder. The food was AMAZING. This is the best burger I've had in the neighborhood and one of my favorites in NYC. The burger and karaage were rich, umami, and perfectly cooked. The clam chowder was also good (not too salty), but probably not something I would repeat, just because it wasn't standout. The bar is very cute and intimate. There space is mostly up of bar seating with a few small tables against the walls. We didn't try the cocktails this visit, but the menu was a fun list of Japanese-inspired drinks. We found out that behind the bar, there is a speakeasy-style one Michelin Star Japanese restaurant and separate lounge. Throughout the evening, folks for the Japanese restaurant and lounge quietly streamed in and out. This will definitely be a new regular spot for us.

Really enjoyed this little spot. Cozy, warm, and intimate. Foie Gras Burger - delivered in our satisfaction, and the fries! HALL spicy Hijiki salad - served deconstructed so there's extra step to mix them in ourselves but the taste was great! Lettuce isn't my favorite salad base wish they use other kind. Karaage - simply tender and juicy. Would definitely come back!

This is one of my favorite speakeasy/burger bar. It hides an amazing Japanese/sushi restaurant and truly has the best burgers in manhattan! The bartenders are amazing always. 10/10 service and conversation. Plus the ambience is like you walked into a mix of an old west saloon or old NYC sheriff bar.

Dropped by at 6pm on a Saturday, got seated right away considering it's Thanksgiving weekend when most of NY is fairly empty. $16 for the single wagyu-blend burger and perfectly crispy fries, $21 for the double. Absolutely delicious. Bartender and host were so friendly. It's a small, dimly lit intimate space with maybe 6 barstools and two small tables against the wall. Japanese inspired cocktails, recommend the Shiso Fresh. Good vibe, jazzy playlist.

Hidden gem in the flatiron neighborhood. The front room of a sushi "speakeasy" (Odo) but can stand alone in the fact that it puts out some of the tastiest burgers I have had in NYC

3 reasons a 5 star rating: 1) Perfectly cooked medium rare wagyu burgers with a side of fries. A super simple menu done really well 2) Delicious specialty cocktails- memorable using Japanese alcohols 3) Dimly lit wooden rustic interior with the friendliest of bartenders/ staff Need I say more? Small tip: its a tiny establishment, bar seating for the most part. Max capacity probably at 10-12? They don't do reservations, so just show up and hope no one else had the same idea!

I really like this place. The bartender is phenomenal: he makes great drinks, is attentive, and personable. The food is consistently great. Tastes delicious, served promptly, and it just delivers. The new maître d' though, I hate to say is extremely disappointing and makes the experience unpleasant. On two separate occasions she's managed to surprise me with her utter lack of professionalism and total WTF attitude. 1) I went there on a weekday to enjoy their burger and drinks. All their burgers are a must try, my favorite is the foie gras burger, and the fries are pretty good too! The place was starting to get a little busy and there were two other people waiting for a seat to open. I noticed and understood so I ordered my second drink and the check at the same time with the barman. Right after I got the check I signed it and the maître d' then came to collect it promptly and took my full drink... so i politely said, "Thank you but I'm not finished with that drink as I just got it". In my head, I'm thinking, the glass is full... pls ask if I'm finished.... This part was understandable but what proceeded was not cool. Not even 5 min later she comes back and reaches for my drink! It's a strong cocktail, I'm not going to chug it... I understand it's busy but I wasn't even there for an hour. I just wanted to enjoy my food and drinks! At that point I put my coat on without finishing my drink. The two people who were waiting actually apologized and said I hope we didn't rush you... it was that flagrantly obvious to even the customers... embarrassing... 2) Seamless order Their food is that good that I still wanted their burger so I ordered takeout. Now mind you, there's a restaurant right next door (same management). Went to go pick it up at Hall, and was greeted by the cute blond maître d' again. I said I was here to pick up a take out order from seamless. She then said I was mistaken because they don't do take out nor seamless. Then the bartender came to the rescue and said, all pick up orders are from the restaurant next door. She then proceeds to say, "Oh, now I know what you meant." It would have been nice if instead she said, apologies for the confusion :) So yeah, dear Hall and Odo. It really is a shame because I love your food and institution so much. Pls do something about the maître d'.

I've been coming to HALL For years and never got around to make a review until now. If you walk down the block too quick, you'll easily miss Hall's entrance, but that shouldn't take away from how beautiful the location is. Only downside to HALL is the limited seats. Onto the drinks. I ordered the train to Bhutan cocktail and it was tasty with a salt rim. The cocktails at HALL are always a hit and a huge variety of flavors and alcohol options. Food up next. We ordered karage, Cowboy (bbq brisket) burger, and the HALL signature burger. The karage pieces were bigger than expected and mainly meat pieces as opposed to fried breading. Both burgers were accompanied with fries and each were delicious and different. Hall burger was a double patty cheeseburger and Cowboy burger was BBQ flavored brisket with a patty. Definitely a great spot if you're looking for good vibes, good food, and not breaking the bank. Also shout-out the bartender, always in a good mood and taking care of everyone

I came here for restaurant week and did a pick up and I'm so glad I did. First off, ordering from their website was super easy. They ask for your phone number, you confirm and a code is then sent to your phone and then you're all in and all set to start ordering. I ended up getting their Miyazaki (A5) burger and it was amazing. The beef was so tender and it just melts right in my mouth. But regardless the flavor just mesh so well and visually the burger looked and smell delicious when I opened it. As for the fries, it was well seasoned and the ginger soy dipping sauce that came along with it was delicious. I could tell they used real grated ginger juice for the sauce. Without a doubt I highly recommend this place. They even came out to do curbside deliver for me when I called and ask if it's okay. This way, I didn't have to worry about getting a ticket for parking outside of their restaurant. When dining is back to normal, this is certainly one restaurant that I would love to do a dine in experience with.

Stopped at this restaurant for restaurant week. For restaurant week, they only do pick up or delivery and offer the Surf & Turf Wagyu Burger & Waffle Fries and Lobster & Ebi Burger & Waffle Fries. I opted for the lobster and Shrimp burger and waffle fries. The lobster and shrimp was so fresh and it was so juicy. The waffle fries are seasoned well. The service was amazing and unexpected. We did pick up thinking we would go sit on park benches. However, when we got there, we saw there were some tables in their outside dining setup. We asked if we were able to sit outside and the hostess said definitely. She even offered us cups of water. Would definitely recommend coming here to try their burgers!

Honestly stumbled upon this spot via a Google map search, since we were in the area and I had a deep craving for a burger. We walked pass it twice, because the sign on the door said "Odo" (but there was a board, leaning against the wall that said 'Hall') and we later learned that there's a speakeasy Japanese sushi counter in the back -- Hall is the bar in the front, and we watched as countless people came in, looking for a meal at the Gallery (next door). To say that this spot thrives on confusing people, lol, would be an understatement, but the Hall signature burger? Wow. It was incredible. I loved that it's a small, cozy spot and that they do limit the # of people in that area. Drinks-wise, we just did whisky on the rocks (so good) and ended up chatting quite a bit with the bartender. The next time I'm craving an amazing burger, I'm coming here!

Ordered from the NYC Restaurant Week to go menu, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of steak in the burgers. Miyazaki A5 Steak Burger ($20.21, comes with waffle fries): the burger patty itself is on the smaller side, but the wagyu steak on top is delicious! Perfect amount of marbling and melts in your mouth. Honestly, the burger doesn't really need the steak because the bread proportions drown out the fattiness and makes it seem like a regular burger, but it was definitely worth the trip to pick up! If you're not into wasabi though, I would scrape off the sauce. Personally, I don't mind it. The waffle fries stayed crispy even after commuting back with it, really can't go wrong with fries.

Hands down best burgers ever! So glad I found this cool spot in Chelsea and in walking distance from my office. Came here with coworkers during the week for lunch. We all grabbed spots at the bar !!!! To note this spot is small but there are seats at the bar and a few around, more like high chairs with a table. Most people ordered their burgers to go so that's another option! Their lunch menu is burgers and they have a variety of side order. I ordered the short ribs burger with fries and was amazing! The taste was great! Perfect sizing not too much fries! Will definently be back at this spot. You can also order a variety of drinks and their coffee and tea smell amazing, they take extra caution in giving you the perfect sip!

Mini review: Excellent handmade soba on Mondays with great cocktails and a very good burger as well. Highly recommended. Anyway, I went to this excellent bar twice so far; once for their Monday night soba, and once late on a Friday to try their burger/regular menu. Located in front of a very nice kaiseki place called Odo; named after the chef; they serve a Japanese inspired bar/izakaya menu with a lots of beef dishes as well as an inspired cocktail menu. Their alternate menu on Monday nights is handmade soba and it's one of the best I've had in the city though this to be expected coming from the chef's roots at Kaijutsu. The bartender and the rest of the staff are quite friendly with good recommendations. Soba night: This place wasn't as crowded on Monday though I did get there early and it was pretty packed by the time I left. To drink, I asked for the cocktail menu over their various selection of sake and a couple shochus (I would add more which would lend to some more good cocktails.) I ordered the Hall Old Fashioned. In terms of food, I ordered their Jidori Kara-age and their cold kinoko soba. To drink- Old Fashioned (16): Rye whiskey, kuro sato (Japanese black sugar) creme de cacao,black walnut bitters, and an orange/lemon twist. This was well balanced with some good sweetness to balance out the strong alcohol flavor. I preferred it over the drink I ordered the second time I was here but I tend to be a fan of whiskey based drinks and especially a good old fashioned. Appetizer- Jidori Kara-age (8): This was served with some scallions on top with some lemon on the side to drizzle. The breading was light, the chicken was moist, and the scallions/lemon helped reduce the fattiness. I thought the dish was fine though I would go with the bartender's recommendation and get the tofu or grilled eggplant next time. Main- Cold Kinoko Soba (16): This place has a choice between several different traditional udons; both cold and hot; and I went with their cold kinoko soba as I was quite warm to begin with. Kinoko means mushrooms and alongside a melange of mushrooms, there was a glistening egg, some scallions, some mashed daikon, and of course some handmade soba in a light colored broth. The balance of flavors and textures was outstanding with the egg adding slight richness. The broth was both refreshing and very flavorful and the noodle texture was some of the best I have had in the city. This was in short one of the best sobas I have had and miles ahead of the other local soba places. Regular menu: This place was crowded but it didn't take long to get a seat. To drink- Sherry Blossom (16): Japanese gin, Shiso infused Manzanilla sherry, Gran Classico bitters, Celery bitters, shiso leaf. This was a nice take on the various sherry cocktails you find in the city. Unlike many other ones, it only had a slight burn thanks to the citrusy shiso and it was both strong and refreshing. Good take. Main- Washyu Short Rib Deluxe Burger (20 I believe): This was an excellent and flavorful burger though of course a bit messy. I'd list exactly what was on it but the menu doesn't list it either. I remember lettuce, tomato, onions, some mushrooms, some Japanese BBQ sauce, and some type of cheese but I am unsure exactly. As expected from the ingredients, this burger had a strong umami flavor. It fell apart after while but they provide a fork/knife for a reason. The fries had some parmesan (and perhaps a little truffle oil though it wasn't overpowering. The burger was in short quite good and I could see going here at lunch time for their special. Dessert- Sake Lees Ice Cream Monaka, red bean, soy caramel reduction (6 or 8 I believe on the dinner menu): This was a nice take on the usual monaka, a Japanese sandwich made from chewy mochi wafers filled with red bean. The red bean was not super sweet and the caramel was light. There was a light refreshing flavor also (probably the sake lees) though the ice cream made it a little bit messy. It was good. I'd definitely go back for their kamo nanban soba or some other soba. This place was excellent and worthy of it's rating and it's prices. Fantastic new place on a block filled with fancy restaurants. 4.7.

The ambiance in Hall was elegant, classy and intimate. It's a perfect and ideal place for dating. Their food was amazingly delicious and delicate. You can tell how the chef cares about what he cooks from the dishes. My husband's favorite was US Wagyu Beef Burger and Beef Prosciutto. The patty made of Wagyu beef was super juicy and greatly matched with the soft brioche bun. The Beef Prosciutto was fresh, great balanced of meat & fat and it melted in your mouth immediately. My favorite dish was Fig tempura, warm flash of fruit with crispy and thin layer. We enjoyed and felt satisfied with their food. However, there is room to improve for their service. Firstly, it was our first time here and we asked for recommendation but the waiter wasn't patient to introduce. Then when they served our dessert - sake ice cream Monaka, they dropped the top cover to the table by accident but he just walked away without any apology or trying to replace with a new one.

Tonight I visited HALL for a second time. What a special place! Very classy, intimate, and just amazing overall. I've only ever visited the quaint speakeasy-ish cocktail joint in front, but I hear the dining room is just as enjoyable! I also hear they have a killer lunch! Try any of the drinks! They are high end, classy, and a bit pricey... but well worth it! Especially enjoyable is the Hall Old Fashioned and the Dama D'oro (a Mezcal drink). I'm so happy this place is located a few doors down from my office! This is my second visit, and I definitely plan to become a regular!

Incredible breakfast and lunch counter that becomes a bar at night. I've gone to Hall for breakfast coffee. In the morning, it's quiet and there are a few tables and a counter for sitting and meeting up with a friend or enjoying your coffee. They also serve pastries and egg sandwiches. The star of Hall, in my opinion, is the burger at lunchtime. For only $6, you can get an extremely juicy, filling, perfectly salty and tasty. I added on fries which were thick and slightly crispy. They were served with a ketchup and mustard. My meal also came with a choice of a "soft drink" when I added on fries (fries + drink = an additional $6). I got the yuzu lemonade, which was tart and refreshing. I came at the end of the lunch hour (around 1:30pm) and there were a few people dining and plenty of space at the bar. I saw a few people order the chicken sandwich, which looked very good. After finishing my burger, I sat at the bar for a bit longer to read a book. Hall is laidback, quiet, and the service is so attentive and welcoming. This feels like a great place to relax as much as it is a place to enjoy a terrific burger.

Bar with speakeasy vibes by night, cozy breakfast and lunch spot by day. Is this not the very essence of New York, with all these businesses doubling up and capitalizing on the pricey rent? I came here for lunch after hearing about the washu beef burger. It's a good deal for $6. Add on another $6 and you'll also get fries and yuzu sparkling lemonade, which is what I did. The burger, which comes with American cheese, chopped onion, mayonnaise, and sansho soy sauce, is really tender and flavorful. I just love how each bite melds the meat and cheese together more. The bun itself is also great. It's a simple, no-frills burger that really focuses on the quality and flavor of the meat. They also pay so much attention to detail, which I really love. The potato wedge fries come sprinkled with seasoned salt. There's what appears to be horseradish mayo on one side, and ketchup on the other side. But this ketchup is actually mixed together with spices and actual bits of tomato, giving it more of a chutney-like texture and fresher flavor. I enjoyed the lemonade as well. It had a perfectly balanced yuzu flavor with actual little pieces of yuzu floating around. I spoke to the very friendly manager, and it seems like they're testing out their lunch menu for now, but items might rotate and increase in price afterward. Gonna be back to try that crab clam chowder and order another burger.

Round 2!! This time ordered take out! The burgers are good - but did not expect them to have the most AMAZiNG salad?!?!?! It's Magic! There are the greens, egg, but then those uniquely Japanese little sides, like toppings - OMG! I could have it everyday!!! The fish and chips were also good, beautifully breaded and fried

Went into the city and wanted to eat a really good filling burger and Hall did not disappoint one bit! What we got: Waffle fries 2021 Foie Gras Burger: yummy Miyazaki A5 Steak Burger: yummy Miyazaki A5 Steak Burger w/ fresh wasabi: yummy Fries were crispy. The patties and the steak were seasoned well and juicy. The combo of foie with burger and Miyazaki steak with burger... just wow! Even the one with the fresh wasabi had a good kick(not overwhelming at all!!) I was completely stuffed! These aren't your average burgers guys!

Restaurant Week Wagyu burger with waffle fries I think it's so funny how they share the same space as Muse Sushi. How does it work they have two menus and act like two restaurants?? Figured to order to make my commute easier. Well I was attracted to the wagyu part. The burger wasn't that interesting. There was some wasabi on it but not too exciting. The wagyu was actually a couple slices on top of a regular burger. I was slightly disappointed by it. The wagyu was nice and soft though. I forgot about the sauces until my last bite. There was a brown sauce that came with the burger. It's some sort of pepper glaze. I like it's brightness and wish I remembered it earlier. It came with a side of waffle fries. Gotta say they were really airy and crispy and fluffy. Quite interesting texture as I usually only find two out of the three elements together. Don't really expect myself going back but I did like the fries a lot. 3.5*

Never eaten here, only ordered from here for take out/delivery. Whatever they are putting in the burger is amazing. One of the best, juiciest burgers I've ever had. No idea I could feel so passionate about a burger. Orgasmic, lol.

We came here for restaurant week and they only had seating outside and we had to order on a tablet inside another restaurant. We decided to get the wagyu beef patty and lobster burger lunch set! The taste was good, but it the patty was on the same level as a decent beef patty, maybe wagyu is just better in steak format? All in all it was decent, but hopefully their menu outside of restaurant week is better.

[restaurant week takeout] Got the wagyu burger (of course) and a cup of chowder. The burger was delicious and wagyu was buttery. The size was smaller than a standard burger, but with the extra steak, it was definitely filling. Fries were a little too crispy, but that's an after thought. The clam chowder was a pleasant surprise, it tasted homemade and had generous pieces of clams.

This is purely a lunch review. Saw a sign talking about 6 dollar wagyu burgers, and I knew i had to try it. Came in at around 12pm, plenty of seats around. Staff that was there was very attentive as well. But let's talk about the real star of the day. The 6 dollar burger. Just to be clear, 6 dollars is for the burger alone, you can add fries and a drink for 6 dollars more. Do it, the yuzu lemonade is tremendous. The whole meal is worth 12 dollars. The burger is well cooked, has so much flavor and is well seasoned. I got the wagyu burger, and I thought the sauce on the burger sets it apart, adding a depth of flavor like no other. Do yourself a favor. If you are in the area at lunch time, get yourself a burger from hall.

Hall is a little gem of a restaurant. Super cozy, wood wainscoting all around with lovely bartenders. Wagu burgers are amongst the best you will ever have. Odo the resting back is also lovely and a totally different experience.

This is a hidden gem. I love this place and came back twice in a week. It's a small restaurant with bar seats and high tops only. It's not a place where you bring your kids, but it's the perfect spot to have a quiet lunch by yourself. I'm 37 weeks pregnant, so I have to order my burger well done. Well done burgers at most places are really tough and dry. This place makes it perfect. It's juicy with the right amount of sauce and seasoning. With 6 more dollars, you can add fries and drink with your burger. I ordered their seasonal soup for $5. It's a chilled corn soup that they offer during summer. It was very light and yummy. Not heavy at all. The portion was smaller than I expected maybe cus it was so good. The Yuzu lemonade is refreshing, which they always offer with the meal. You can get regular soda if you like. Service is always excellent here. The servers/bartenders are always nice and polite. I wish this place is closer to home. I can eat it everyday!!!!

This is a tiny cafe like restaurant with a bar and a few tables that only seat 2. I came here for lunch because they have the best deal! A wagyu burger for $6? And it's delicious! You can add fries and the staff is super friendly. I recommended this place to a couple of friends visiting and they loved it! They added a foie gras burger so I will definitely be back to try it. If I worked in the area I would frequent this place often. Just make a note that this is not a great place for groups as the place is small. I would recommend going here to catch up with a friend or two most. They also have teas and cocktails !

Adorable little place. I'm in a hole-in-the wall looking like a cross between a German hofbrau and a Parisian hideaway listening to jazz and perusing a without-a-doubt Japanese inspired lunch menu (matcha lattes anyone?) Packed at lunch because the price of the lunch is under 10 dollars for a Wagyu burger and fries. However, it's a small burger, about twice the size of a slider and not quite a McDonalds portion of fries. HOWEVER, absolutely delicious, well prepared and worthwhile, and I'm not feeling too heavy afterwards. Plus the little pass-thru window is a must see.

This place is adorable and the food is delicious! We stopped in for burgers on a Sunday afternoon. It's small but SO beautiful inside and the staff was super friendly. We tried the wagyu burger, truffle burger and fried chicken. All were delicious and super affordable - including the fries and drink addition. (Get the Yuzu soda!) bonus- they have THE BEST smelling hand soap ever. Can't wait to come back to this lovely spot!

This was there restaurant week menu! Super delicious, glad we had a chance to try it, will definitely be back for more. It was so tender & literally melts in your mouth. The service was great! Very attentive!

Got takeout here for both sushi and burger. Would have to say - burgers were fire and amazing, I would 100% come back here for the burgers. I love the tempura shrimp burger, literally a must try. Fries were also really yummy and they throw in Brussel sprouts with the fries (which was a nice surprise). Burger prices were also very fair - I love! For sushi/sashimi, not the biggest fan. I would probably only come back here for burgers.

As good as it gets, just get the burger. There really isn't a better simple burger in the city. Anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong. How does no one know about this place?

Oh you thought i was done but get destroyed im back. I ordered the restaurant week waygu sandwich with truffle waffle fries and holy moley I transcended into another dimension. It was delicious. I had takeout so it was a bit cold after walking in the cold cold winter but OOOOOOO WOW it was a goood delicious one. I recommended it and would love to come back in the fuuuutruaaar

It's a Japanese art gallery where you can order take out burgers & sushi - a very unique concept! We got the surf & turf wagyu burger with lobster (amazing), hall single burger with crispy soft shell crab (also amazing), and sushi muse Omega bowl (seriously well prepared fish - not your standard neighborhood sushi). All the food was amazing and they brought out the food at the outdoor dining table outside the gallery. They also have a restroom for you to wash your hands before you grab your burgers :) the only negative to this place was that there were so many tiny bugs around the outdoor dining area that it interrupted the dining experience - I was busy waving my hand over the food so flies won't land. If you don't live around the area or can't really do take outs, this place would not be a hassle free experience. Nonetheless, the food and the presentation was amazing and I would get a takeout order next time. I also saw that they were making t shirts for purchase and wonder how much they cost!

Love the Wagyu steak burger!! $20 for a burger + waffle fries combo. Super worth the money!!!

I came back here on a Monday night to try their secret menu items and it was divine. I got the Sashimi and US Wagyu Soba. The sashimi was fresh and a good portion size for the price. The soba noodles were tasty. Although the bowl looked small, it was very filling. The broth looked clear but extremely rich in flavor and the beef was super tender. It is a small place, so it can be crowded. Good luck on getting a table. It's worth it!

Hall is ODO's casual bar/burger joint. Incredible food. The Wagyu burger is the best burger anywhere. Hands down. Consistently great. Soft outer bun with a crisp interior. Meat cooked to perfection is soft textured and without that meat smell. Garnishes are handmade and perfectly complimentary. The Hall burger, their classic offering, is outstanding. Delicious time after time. Savory with a hint of sweet from the sansho. The soups change but never disappointed. I honestly have never had a bad item here yet. They have vegetarian offerings and even those are good!! This is coming from someone who considers the broccoli in his beef with broccoli his salad intake. Staff is kind and helpful if you're not sure on what you want to eat or drink. Lunch special pricing is great too. Chef Shuji from forever powerhouse KyoYo has found his calling. His food is a don't miss. Talented is not enough of an adjective to describe what he has created.

Still the best burgers in NYC. I demand it every time I visit my boyfriend for an extended time. The Short Rib burger is where it is at- burger with an Asian twist (that mushroom sauce is phenomenal). He's gotten the Waygu burger and the Veggie Burger (you definitely taste the cashew nuts) and loves them both. We always get the fries and the brussels sprouts [chefs kiss]- who would have thought? So good! Still my go to burger spot in NYC.

I have ordered twice from Hall for the restaurant week offer. The Miyazaki A5 burgers are amazing and it is such a good deal! The waffle fries and special dipping sauce are so good, too! Y'all should try it out!

There's a ton of overrated burgers, this place actually had one of the best burgers in town! I'm surprised it's still such a hidden gem. Perfect ambience, eclectic wooden artistry, 90s jam (on the night I was there). 10/10 service. Eddie is the best.

Wow wow wow! I'm not even a burger person, but I decided to give this restaurant a try during restaurant week and I'm so glad I did. Everything was absolutely AMAZING! We had the Miyazaki A5 wagyu yakiniku burger and the Miyazaki A5 steak burger. They were both so juicy and flavourful and the waffle fries were nice and crispy. Highly recommend. My boyfriend really likes burgers in general and said that this is one of the best burgers he's ever had. We're already thinking of ordering again!

WOOP WOOP. Co workers and I work near this cool little joint and wanted to try something new for lunch. Their lunch deal is solid and super filling. Burger with fries/salad and a drink. I heard at night its a little bit of a speakeasy so def want to come back at a later time. Please note the place is tiny so if there is wait don't be a demon about it.. I had the burger twice already and it is so tasty I love the soy sauce marinade.It was also cooked perfectly. The fries come with two sauces one is ketchup the other is a horseradish mayo. The yuzu lemonade is also super duper good also really refreshing and has a good sweet kick.
