Haven Craft is a bustling, contemporary restaurant in the heart of Orange. The host stand had a few issues finding and crediting us for our OpenTable reservation, and the service slacked a little toward the end of our meal, but in general it’s an inviting space with good food. The octopus dish was well cooked, albeit more of a tapas size than a main, and the arancini, cornbread, and sticky-toffee pudding were all delicious.

Haven Craft Kitchen + Bar is my go-to place in Old Towne Orange! The food is always fresh and flavorful, the cocktails are top-notch, and the service is excellent. I always look forward to coming back!

Google
Delicious fresh tasting food! Vegetarian and gluten free options. The pasta was so good and flavorful! Cornbread so fluffy. Loved the beet salad!! Drinks were yummy and creative. Staff very kind and helpful. Great atmosphere.

Google
Food is excellent, loved the Brussels sprouts, the oysters were also amazing. The outside seating area on the side of the building are nice despite the space, however there was a problem with ants. One thing as well was the front service lady was initially rude to me because of the size of my party, even though I explained to her that I talked to another employee over the phone about reservations and was told not to worry about reserving. Ultimately food was amazing, and the indoor and outdoor seating are rather cute ~ maybe I got the hostess at a bad time

First time here! My wife heard Haven was donating 100% of this night’s proceeds to help those in L.A. during the fires. We both ordered the Fried Jidori Chicken sandwich and it was big and flavorful! It was juicy and messy. We also discovered they have one of our favorite beers (Pliny the Elder) on draft! 🙌🏽 Service was good and we’ll definitely be back.

We stopped by Saturday night, and everything was fantastic! We were so swept up in the experience we forgot our waiter's name. (Umm, he had a beard, we were there around 7.30) He was fantastic, the cocktails and food were delicious. We are telling everyone we know about this place! We shall be back soon!

Google
Excellent food, had a good variety of dishes, had the Burger and it was exceptional it was a CRAFT burger , the hand made Salmon pasta was also on point with a spicy pesto. The beer selection is superior to most restaurants, The New Zealand is almost buttery with texture and brimmed with flavour. The rice beer was perfect for a thirst quencher, and the pilsner followed perfectly.

Google
Great food and cocktails. Breakfast and brunch menu are a bit slim, but other than that, it was really good. The service was excellent! We enjoyed the Chorizo Hash and the burger with an egg on top. Don't miss out on the freshly made doughnuts. They were excellent!

Yelp
I dined here last night to show support for LA Fires. They donated 100% of profits to that cause, which is so kind and generous. Staff was friendly and service was decent. I had the short rib pasta, which was a 3-4 star dish. Pasta seemed slightly under cooked, but the short rib was tasty. I wasn't offered a refill on my arnold palmer, but maybe they don't do that. I respect the values of the owner and will come back to try another dish.

Yelp
The restaurant's interior ambiance is pleasant, resembling a high-end bar. However, the exterior does not live up to the same standard. I would have rated it 3 stars based on aesthetics alone, but I had to lower the rating due to the quality of the food and service. Let's start with the food. I ordered a kids' burger, kids' grilled cheese, and kids' grilled chicken. The burger was satisfactory, the grilled chicken was well-seasoned but had an unusual taste (maybe it was frozen chicken). As for the grilled cheese, it should be removed from the menu as it was subpar. Additionally, I ordered a couple of lobster rolls. While the brioche bread was acceptable, the lobster itself was of poor quality, likely freezer burned and lacking in flavor. The sauce on the sandwich was notably bland. Regarding the service, the servers were polite and may have performed better with proper training. However, they all seemed to forget about us while we were seated outside, despite being directed to our table by the hostess. Each time we requested another drink, condiments, or additional napkins, the servers would acknowledge their oversight, promise to return promptly, and then delegate the task to someone else. I am hesitant to leave negative feedback, but I hope this review assists others in making an informed decision. In my opinion, the experience does not justify the cost.

Yelp
This is a great spot we stopped in for dinner after walking around the area looking at the Christmas decorations. It was busy but the hostess sat us down within 5 minutes. The restaurant was lively and our waiter was friendly and very attentive. We ordered the lobster roll and burger. The lobster was flavorful but the sauce was a bit thick and overwhelming. My burger was okay, it was also too saucy for me. Presentations were beautifully done though. The drinks we got were an old fashioned and a whisky sour. Amazing drinks!! This was a nice place for our date night out, parking in the area is a bit tricky as it does get packed but just be patient you'll find a spot. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Friendly service, nice atmosphere and a damn fine Bloody Mary (in the words of Agent Cooper). ;). I was there with a friend for brunch and ordered the avocado hummus plate with toast. While it was delicious, it took me a while to decide on a dish. I was hoping for more variety in terms of brunch (omelettes, breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt & granola, even plain pancakes). The food is freshly prepared, I just feel like the menu is limited. For example, they offer pesto pasta and pork belly tacos on the brunch menu. I wasn't in the mood for that at 11 AM. I also wasn't in the mood for something sweet like donuts or Belgian waffles. Great experience overall, it would just be nice to have some additional basic breakfast items available.

Yelp
Took a stroll down Old Towne Orange and stopped by this amazing restaurant for lunch. It wasn't too busy when we arrived and was seated immediately. We ordered the Skillet Cornbread & Pappardelle with Chicken Pesto and a Mexican Morphine drink. Everything was so deliciously tasty and mouthwatering good. Definitely one of the best restaurants we've been to. Great seasonal menu. Everything looked great. Ambiance exceeded expectations. Superb, quick, and very friendly service. Highly recommended this place!

Yelp
Really enjoyed this spot in Orange Circle! I ordered the pork belly tacos to Haven Craft for an early dinner. My server was super nice and recommended the dish, so I had to go with it! The dish arrived quickly during a quiet afternoon and it was so delicious! They are very filling, but don't look like it at first glance, but trust me, they were!

Yelp
Nice frontage & outdoor seating area, after walking in, this upscale eatery looked perfect.. We were seated immediately, from that point things soured, our waitress was not attentive, very slow coming and checking on us, the selection of beer was fine but they were out of a few.. The menu was also fine, with enough offerings, however as we're ordering, we were once again told, we're out of an item & didn't have mustard or ranch dressing either..No mustard, that's a new one, not out, don't serve it..What pray tell does one put on a Hamburger, certainly mustard comes to mind.. I, we were disappointed, to say the least..I want to give them another chance, I just don't know.. All in all, out of some drinks & food items, service was slow..And no sign of management..I can't imagine a manager not getting wind of there problems and not walking the floor.. Signed, wanted to like but I'm disappointed..

Yelp
Haven is one of my favorite local spots! My sister and Mom met me for a Christmas shopping day and I knew the place we had to go for lunch was Haven. The booths are comfortable and the environment is cozy, which makes it a great place to catch some quiet during the bustling season in Old Town Orange. Also, the menu has so many delicious shareable dishes. I knew my mom and sister would be obsessed with the French onion soup and they were. They still talk about it to this day! We were also in love with the burrata. Food aside, the service is amazing as well. Our waiter was attentive and kind. Also, since it was a slower time of day, I noticed him hand polishing each wine glass to use later. Pretty amazing! I felt compelled to write a review because this restaurant deserves far more than 3 1/2 stars on yelp.

Yelp
I feel compelled to write a review, because of such an odd experience here today. The brunch menu is pretty limited in my opinion, but I'm really reviewing the drink situation. I wanted to order a vodka sprite and was told that they didn't carry coke or sprite on tap, so I would need to order a shot of vodka and then they'd have to charge me additionally for a can of sprite and I "could poor them together" WHAT?!? I have never heard such a thing at a full bar. Anyway, ended up ordering one of their cocktails from their menu. Was very pretty, and tasted fine. Also got the chicken and waffle, and that was just ok too. We went on a Saturday at 12:30 and the place was empty. Service was not great. Had to ask for refills on our water, and for our check. I might try it again for dinner, since most reviews seem positive.

Yelp
So I'll start here by saying that I've been here before. I think the drinks are great, and they have decent options for food. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I came for a drink before enjoying the rest of Orange circle. We initially were sat at a table, but then changed to the bar top as we didn't want to take away someone's table for just drinks. While the drinks were tasty, it felt as though we were unwanted when we sat at the bar. I got my drink, and my boyfriend waited almost an additional 10 mins for his whiskey sour. I think the bartenders were switching shifts, because when we were ordering, we felt rushed.

Yelp
Super cute old school American vibe especially with the Christmas decor with an awesome bar ! The service was super friendly And with a smile. The food was delicious the only Thing that makes it 4/5 was the food was just above lukewarm it might've been the weather or the ac but was still yummy and hit the spot nonetheless. I couldn't even photo graph the burger or the short rib tagliatelle because we dug in immediately!!

Yelp
Thank you Tim for the amazing service! Will definitely return. Came here without a reservation and was seated right away. Very nice restaurant and friendly atmosphere. You have to try their crispy pig ears! This place also makes an amazing expresso martini.

Yelp
Decided to come and try this place since we hadn't been here since they first opened. We arrived around 5:30pm it was busy but not very busy a lot of the inside tables were empty. We were seated outside , yes they have heaters. Our server came by to take our drink orders and I ordered a cosmopolitan and my husband ordered a whiskey sour. For appetizers we went with their cornbread and the Wagyu beef carpaccio. The cornbread was so good , especially with the hot honey butter that is on top of it. The carpaccio was also very good. With some fried capers, cheese and topped with arugula. We finished our appetizers before we even got our drinks, which was very disappointing. The for entree we shared the mussels, which come in a sauce with Spanish chorizo and some toast. Usually when we get mussels you are given a plate to put your empty shells , they didn't so we used our small plates the we used for the appetizers. I understand that it's a busy time of the year, but our server wasn't very attentive, saw all of our dishes still on the table and just walked away without taking them away. It wasn't till one of the hostess came and she took them off our table. We finished our drinks and paid our bill. We didn't want to order any more drinks and have to wait another 20 minutes or more to get them. At least the food made up for the ok service.

Yelp
We have gone here many times now, and liked it better under the previous chef, but the food is still good. The beer selection is good (according to my husband) and the drink selection is creative! The service is always consistent and the ambiance is good for just sitting at the bar, or grabbing a table.
google avatar

Yelp
I have eaten here before and the food and service are pretty good. The noise can be a little loud. I was prepared to make a reservation in support of the LA Wildfires but then they wanted a credit card to hold the reservation. Decided against that and will make a donation to the Red Cross instead.

Yelp
I love a good happy hour! 20% off the entire menu rather than a little happy hour menu is so much more preferred. We had the cornbread and the truffle Mac and the burger and it was yummy! We went on a 3pm weekday and it was empty. Nothing super extraordinary about the food but it was a great happy hour deal! Server was really kind :)
google avatar

Matthew P.

Yelp
Came here for a quick weekday lunch and was not disappointed! We ordered the cornbread, truffle mac n cheese, and a classic burger. The cornbread was delicious and came with a butter on top that added the perfect amount of sweetness to the semi-savory bread. The truffle mac was also very good and was nice and creamy. The burger was your average restaurant/pub burger, but it was very nicely cooked and tender. The service was quick and attentive since there weren't that many patrons in the restaurant at the time we were there. We also got to select our own seat, which was a cute and cozy little booth next to the window which was nice for people watching. The overall vibes give Old Town for sure, it feels a bit country and Southern with the large wall of bottles and drinks near the bar. Would definitely come back here for the cornbread!

Yelp
Tbh this is only good for a quick date night with some drink because the food low-key a little cat fish ain't gonna play. The restaurant is nice and got yourself that modern hipster movie bar vibe. I love the idea of it but idk didn't feel much like haven. The service was low-key slacking also since took them a while to ask us for another drink. Yo boy was dry and ready for another like dam. Good place to meet up and start the night but not to stay if you get me. Anyways, I'll give this like a 6.3/10

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday wanting some beers. It was about mid afternoon and they weren't too busy, so we got seated right away. It did take the servers a little longer than we'd liked to ask if we were ready, but it wasn't too big of a deal. So! We ended up getting a flight of beers to share between the two of us, and the flavors were all pretty good! We got the Super Tonic (milk chocolate, roasted coffee stout) - this one was a little too dark for my liking, yet still surprisingly tasty. Blueberry Muffin (fruited sour) - this was light yet tasted as you've probably already guessed like blueberry muffin. Big Papaya (fruited sour) - this was light and tasted kinda fruity. Not distinctively like Papaya, but it was enjoyable. And lastly, Absolutely Lite: Mango (tart ale) - this one was a bit tooooo lite but you could taste hints of mango if you really tried. Overall, a great experience. This used to be a place I frequented back in the day, and it was nice to see their menu options and beer options as well. Hoping to come back soon and try some of their food items as well :)

Yelp
Haven Craft Kitchen is a hidden gem in Orange County. I was on the hunt for a special occasion spot that was also dog friendly. Haven delivered on both counts. The vibe was casual but the food was excellent. We dined on the outdoor patio, where our server consistently checked in on us. The food was awesome, to say the least. The carpaccio was incredibly fresh and the chicken liver toast struck the perfect balance with its creaminess and slightly acidic toppings. The steak in the pasta and the main dish were well-cooked and well-seasoned. The carrots were undercooked though, so I'd mention that while ordering. The duck confit was fall off the bone and the brothy beans nicely absorbed the flavor of the meat. The pork belly was nicely rendered and tender. The octopus was similarly tender, not rubbery at all. My only regret is not saving room for dessert because they had some lovely options.
google avatar

Christin K.

Yelp
The service was ok they were very busy felt ignored almost. Had to constantly wave someone down to get their attention. For our first time here not what I was expecting. The table next to us also stated they were waiting for an hour and a half long for their food. After our long wait the food was received.

Yelp
Review 721 After years of me defending this place as a 5, they finally decided to change the burger to make it below average. I am pretty sure they get their buns from OC Baking Company (we know Dean and he is amazing) and even those tasted stale. As someone who freezes their bread on a regular basis and ours still tastes great, this is just sad that they couldn't even serve fresh buns! First it was taking away the amazing duck fat fries. Then it was raw burgers and crying kids during covid when we did take away. (I had to re-cook them.) At the time, we tipped over 20 per cent and didn't say too much as we were trying to support them. Then it was a salad that was only lettuce (so odd) at the tail end of Covid so we gave it a pass. And now finally, they have made an ordinary burger, which is just about as bad as the worst burger place. The server is fine, and somewhat apologetic but no one seems to care too much. I always loved their homemade drinks and their unique flair. I always defended their exorbitant prices. I was the "duchess" of this place after all! Even when they refused to serve a kids burger saying they had run out but instead charged us more for them to share the "adult" burger, we gave them a pass. After so many years here, so many visits, always tipping well, not one apology or anything. And now, we notice when other places are hopping on a weekday lunch this place is empty!! We were so loyal. (Look at my Yelp check ins.) Something must have happened here, because while they said they "decided to focus on dinner," I happened to ask the staff at Finney's (our replacement) and they told me that a bunch of their staff had visited recently and no one cared! So for now, we will say good bye to Haven, at least to what was once our favorite burger and fries, and our most highly recommended in all of OC.

Yelp
After a day of antiquing my Bf and I built up an appetite we saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try! I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant gave upscale but comfy. The staff was great very attentive, they seated us immediately and gave great recommendations for drinks and food. I ordered the short Rib tagliatelle absolutely loved it. I'll be back for sure

Yelp
Today we take you to Haven Craft Kitchen and Bar in our favorite Old Towne Orange! Their mission, to provide high quality Freshly prepared food. purveyors of local or organic produce, sustainable seafood, and humanely raised meat and poultry. We ordered The Burger. CALIFORNIA flannery prime dry aged beef. Served with aged white cheddar, arugula and caramelized onion jam.  Be sure to ask your server as there is limited availability. Also ordered was Fried Mary's Chicken Sandwich.  With blue cheese dressing,  maple hot sauce, kohlrabi, and apple sauce. Made me wonder why Fried Mary's didn't make it to popular dishes on the Haven's yelp page. This Sandwich is awesome! the place was great, service was great, food was great. Socal Weekend Walkarounds definitely recommends! Swing by when in Old Towne Orange.  Follow me on Facebook Instagram and tiktok @SOCALWEEKENDWALKAROUNDS till the next time!

Yelp
Very accommodating for party of 12 - 6 adults & 6 kids. Josh was our host & provided attentive & exceptional service. Kids enjoyed the food. Dodgers won game 1 w/ Freddie Freeman home run. Chop salad is tasty and also the pasta dishes. Highly recommend for big parties looking for solid food & service. Thank you Josh!

Yelp
Walking into Haven's, I immediately felt like I had been transported into a ski-town lodge. The wood décor was warm and welcoming. My best friend and I stayed for a couple of hours catching up and were spoiled by staff members Chris & Drew. They were very attentive and had a great energy. We had a dry, crisp bottle of Rose - Cavalchina from Italy. For our meal, we shared the Locally Made Burrata (which melts in your mouth) + Pappardelle pasta w/ pesto (absolutely divine). And to top it off, Anthony, the parking attendant, was very kind and helpful showing me where to park and how to get to the restaurant. Thank you, Chris, Anthony, and Drew for a delightful Tuesday morning experience.

Yelp
PARKING: Orange circle is sometimes tough to find parking, but you can always find it. Just might take awhile and you have to walk a ways. AMBIANCE: Definitely an upscale bar vibe. SERVICE: We didn't have a resy on Sunday for brunch, but got seated with no wait. FOOD: $25 BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS: the waitress was always checking to make sure our glass was never empty! And did the golden ratio of 90% champagne + 10% OJ! $7 CHICKEN LIVER TOAST: each toast is for one person only! Trust me, they are small and delicious, you will want your own. I love this appetizer. It's simple, yet so delicious and savory! $20 DUCK CONFIT CHILAQUILES: oh man, this was so yummy! If you want a more filling breakfast with a savory & unique flavor then order this! I'm a sauce person, so I love how much sauce was on everything. No dryness here! $15 CHICORY & APPLE SALAD: I was craving a salad so this hit the spot, but it's just an average salad. Nothing special about it. PASSION FRUIT PANNA COTTA: also just average. It was light and not too sweet which was perfect. OVERALL: I think this is a cute spot with creative and delicious food. Will keep coming back here to try more things on the menu. I'm not sure why this place has such bad reviews.
google avatar

Alison H.

Yelp
Food: really delicious overall! We have tried a few things so far (only steak and lobster agnolotti pictured). The lobster agnolotti was ever so slightly more al dente than I prefer, but the flavor was absolutely divine. And morels??? I hope they bring this item back. They do keep things fresh with a seasonal menu, so if you see something interesting on the menu, order it before it leaves! I also like their strawberry ice cream! Drinks: Cocktails are well balanced here. Bartenders are knowledgeable and talented with both on- and off-the-menu drinks. There is a wide variety of cocktails/liquors to choose from too. Service: we usually sit at the bar and the food/drinks come out quickly - no complaints here! Ambience: warm, clean interior with a lot of high top seating. Patio seating available as well for those looking to dine with their pups. Parking: there's a lot in the back. If that's full, there is a public lot across the street or a large public garage on Chapman and Lemon.

Yelp
Love this restaurant and bar! They have the best dishes , customer service, and music. Definitely have been here multiple times and loved all their menu items. Everything is locally crafted and I'm always happy with everything!

Yelp
We had pre-dinner drinks. They were great. Service was a little slow but still great.

Yelp
Haven is the gem of the Orange Circle, epic is saying quite a lot because there are a few delicious restaurants tucked away in the circle. O Sea, Gabbi's, and Smoqued are also great for their respective styles, but Haven is the king of the hill. The attention to detail and preparation of their plates is on another level. The chicken liver toast is my favorite item on their menu and is a wonderfully creative dish. Thick cut french bread covered with chicken liver pate and topped with roasted strawberries and pickled mustard seeds. Some other standouts are their black truffle mac, duck confit, and octopus. They have the staples like a great hangar steak, but Haven really shines when they are doing what most restaurants cannot. One bummer that I just found last night is that they don't do a complimentary birthday dessert! It's a weird choice that I don't agree with, but the rest of the restaurant is fantastic.
google avatar

Maddie G.

Yelp
Enjoyed a date night here on a Friday night. The circle was a little busy but they were able to seat us right away still. We decided to sit outside which was nice but also a little cramped with how the tables are set up. I got the spicy margarita which was 6/10. We tried the beef carpaccio, ceviche and split a burger. All the food was good. There was a lot of truffle oil on the carpaccio which I could have done without.

Yelp

Yelp
Haven Craft Kitchen + Bar has a nice vibe to it, it wasn't too crazy busy when we went but it gives off a nice intimate vibe with music and dim lighting. The drinks were quite delicious, I got the Bourbon & Berries and the Highball. The B&B wasn't too overwhelming in whiskey nor overtly sweet that even my girlfriend enjoyed it. Highball tastes like every other highball. The steak was moist internally with a seasoned crust and glaze veal jus. Sides weren't bad, not too big a fan of chard but the creamed chard was tasty and the confit crispy potatoes were filling. Surprisingly the cornbread was really moist and delicious along with the truffle macaroni and cheese. Service was quick and the servers were friendly. The servers are always walking around helping tables so if you ever need anything, they're only a quick wave and request away!

Yelp
This was our first time trying this very highly regarded place. It was hopping on a Saturday night. The menu was short but interesting. Almost every item seemed appealing. It was disappointing that my first two beer choices were sold out. (Probably a good sign of a busy bar) We ordered the beet salad, artichoke confit, Brussels Sprouts and hangar steak. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful. The sprouts featured gochujang mayo and was a generous portion. The artichoke was delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked and highlighted by crispy creamer potatoes and a rich creamed spinach. The service was so efficient and friendly. There was never a dirty dish taking up space on the table. We were so impressed by the food, we ordered dessert to go. Passion fruit pannacotta: chef's kiss! Can't wait to go back to this buzzing and cozy place.

Yelp
Great food, good drinks. Service was nice and the environment was warm. Didn't feel rushed to leave after last call.

Yelp
Greg was so amazing! I wanted a lychee martini and they didn't have that on the menu but he offered to make something special and similar for me which I loved and was so thoughtful and it was better that what I wanted. He is so sweet and gives the best service! I will definitely come back!

Yelp
Just wanted to do a quick #thankyouthursday to Haven. I brought my husband here this week for his birthday and we had the best time. The hibiscus punch is still the most iconic drink. We shared a burger and it was so juicy! The truffle mac and cheese was savory decadence, and the heirloom tomato salad was true farm to table. The Panna Cotta dessert are what dreams are made of. My husband voted it best birthday dinner ever. We brought a bottle of wine for corkage and loved every minute. Service was fantastic, and ambiance was ideal for a birthday date night.

Haven Craft is seriously amazing! The service from our server was unfortunately slow, but otherwise the food made up for the slow service. The dry aged beef on The Burger is to die for! Make sure to get there as soon you can because they only have limited quantity of this burger. I also ordered the Mexican Morphine drink without mezcal because mezcal is a bit too overpowering for me. That made it a perfect drink. I love the piña and coconut in this drink. Reminds me of a piña colada with tequila. I also ordered the Black Truffle Mac n Cheese and the Shrimp Ceviche which were also delicious. I do wish the ceviche was a bit more lemony and citrusy. All in all, I loved Haven Craft and will definitely be back!

Yelp
I come back to Haven every so often for a number of reasons: 1) It's located in the Orange Circle which makes for a really lovely post meal walk 2) Reservations are a plenty, especially for Sunday brunch 3) They have their own allocated parking spots located in the back The food, on the other hand, is mediocre at best. I recently brunched here with my family. Of the things we ordered, the bread related appetizers were the tastiest. We love a chicken liver toast ($7) and the Haven version was delicious. A slightly small slice of bread comes slathered with chicken liver pate, roasted strawberries, pickled mustard seed and port wine reduction. The strawberries and port wine reduction offset the meaty flavor of the chicken liver. We also enjoyed avocado hummus ($15). The combination of avocado, hummus, and chili oil was unexpectedly good. It was a creamy, spicy concoction on a very excellent piece of bread. As for the entrees, they all missed the mark a little. While they weren't by any means bad, they thematically were all lacking a little something extra. Things sound good in theory, however the flavors or presentation are generally just more muted. And tis the story of Haven Craft Kitchen for me: food comes close, but never quite there.

Yelp
This place was recommended by a friend and the food here was sooooo good!! Staff are super friendly and our rockin server Miguel was very attentive. We had their chopped salad, duck confit chilaquiles, chorizo hash, a bloody Mary, beers from their awesome beer selection, and finished with their butterscotch pot de creme. EVERYTHING is made from scratch, from the housemade chorizo, the salad dressing, mole, and even the bloody Mary mix! The chef tastefully thought out each element on every dish, including dessert. It was such a delicious experience! Can't wait to come back for dinner and from how fantastic everything was, I'll be returning a lot!

Yelp
We ended up at Haven after all the other restaurants we tried to go to had over an hour wait time. They were also able to accommodate a baby with our group of 5. Although I wasn't planning to drink, I was intrigued by the Blast of Baja ($7), which is a Baja Blast inspired hard seltzer. It was refreshing and light that tasted almost like a Gatorade. For food, most of the options were pretty limited and pricey as I just wanted a simple dish. I ended up sharing the Mac and Cheese ($16), Local Beet Salad ($14) with Chicken (+$9), and Sticky Toffee Pudding ($16). The salad was a bit disappointing for me since there really wasn't much food on the plate, especially for how much you're paying. It reminds me why I don't order salad, but I was trying to be a bit healthy. On the other hand, the mac and cheese was decadent. It was so cheesy that you needed a spoon to scoop up all the cheese while topped with shaved truffle. This dish was so delicious and hefty, so glad I shared it. To finish off, we had the toffee pudding, which was just as amazing. It was perfectly paired with the vanilla ice cream for a nice balance of sweetness. Overall, the food was tasty and service was great. Tip: 50% off dessert with Yelp check-in.

Yelp
Best chicken sandwich and fries I've had in a long time. Somehow they make both of them extra crispy and awesome. The chicken sandwich has the added bonus of thin sliced pickled apple slices acting like a coleslaw. The sandwich is finished off with a homemade blue cheese dressing that is nice and light and not too overpowering. The ambience is a really cool pub vibe. They have a variety of craft beer but none that they brew themselves. I really enjoyed the #2 Velvet Glow by Russian River. It is a Helles style Lager that is nice and crisp but not too sharp. Large selection of wine and cocktails too.

Yelp
Haha funny I was thinking the service is mediocre for a great restaurant. The servers do seem uninterested don't they! Haha so funny everyone says the same thing. Hire new staff! It would make it as great as Houston's. Drinks are great and all 12 of my family members for my post elopement had a good time. Just get staff who aren't too old in the business. I get it. Used to be a server for years until I left to do what I loved. I was always irritated at people cause I was burnt out from it.
