"Named after those famous Asian stalls selling deliciously affordable eats, Hawkers Orlando comes highly recommended for its street food-based menu. Located in the Mills 50 district, this amiable spot (with sister outposts across the country) features a bar area and high-ceilinged, industrial dining room with concrete floors, metal seats, and pops of color.Diners tend to come here in groups for a spirited meal that may start with a tiki cocktail. Then load up on snacks like crisp and flaky roti canai coupled with warmly spiced coconut curry for dipping. Noodles are a focus, as in the deeply savory char kway teow with lap cheong, shrimp, and chicken; while Po Po Lo's curry is based on a family recipe and best enjoyed with rice." - Michelin Inspector

"They were the first to sling Singaporean-style hawker fare in this town nearly a decade ago, and now Hawkers’ signature roti canai, char siu, and Singapore mei fun noodles can be enjoyed in outposts from Dallas to Charlotte. The original on Mills Avenue, with its raucous atmo, tight dining quarters, and outdoor patio is still an intergenerational pleaser." - Faiyaz Kara

"Inspired by food carts across Southeast Asia, this Mills 50 restaurant serves a wide range of small plates, soups, noodles, and rice dishes to eat-in or carry-out. The menu is a bit all over the place and includes things like Malaysian curry laksa and Hong Kong wontons, but it’s the variety of food that keeps us coming back here all the time. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the roast duck lettuce wraps and the shrimp and pork #dimsumcrunchyballs are two of our favorites - yes, even if one of them does have a hashtag in front of it. photo credit: Hannah Glogower" - Maddy Zollo Rusbosin

The food here was delicious. I really enjoyed the poutine and the soup dumplings. It was very loud inside and the seating was mostly high top tables with bar stools with no backrest, so I would ask for a low table if you’re dining in. The service is very slow. I will probably order takeout next time to avoid the extra wait and uncomfortable seats.

This is a must try in Orlando! The food had great taste and presentation was well done. The atmosphere was nice but the service was top notch. Our server was well knowledgeable of the menu and had great recommendations for first timers.

Hawkers Asian Street Food is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the ease of parking—a rare and much-appreciated convenience. The cleanliness of the location stood out immediately, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The staff’s friendliness elevated the experience even more; they were attentive, warm, and genuinely passionate about providing great service. But the real star? The food! The authenticity and depth of flavor in every dish transported me straight to the vibrant street markets of Asia. Each bite was an explosion of taste that reminded me of the perfect balance of tradition and innovation. Whether you’re craving savory soup dumplings, perfectly seasoned Korean fried wings, or refreshing drinks (recommend the tea fizz), Hawkers delivers it all with excellence. I can’t recommend this place enough. Hawkers Asian Street Food is a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!

Google
This place was awesome! We tried it since we found so many good food reviews on YouTube. Our server was awesome and so was the food! Had a 25 min wait since it was so busy! AC was cold and place was loud since it was so busy however the food was so good I hardly noticed. The Roti with curry sauce is a must!!!! I’ll def return on my next trip to Orlando

Google
Cool spot in Orlando with some great looking Asian street foods. Drink menu has a lot of great cocktails with cheeky names, and the feel is cozy, but big enough to move around. Only hard part here is the parking lot.

This is my second time at Hawkers and I was really excited to visit again, sharing my first experience with all my friends and followers. However, this location surprised me and not in a good way. I want to start with - the service was phenomenal! The food though was a bit disappointing this time. I took the drive to the N Mills location to find out that they are out of the duck bao buns. The server shared that when she came to work at 4pm they only had 4 orders of the duck bao buns. Bummer - that was my favorite. So, I had the Chinese pork bao buns - eh...! It was ok but I wasn't impressed. The lamb skewer was really good. Then I decided to have the donuts. They came without the sauce. I asked to have the sauce and was informed that the menu has changed and they don't come with sauce anymore. Well, why keep the donuts on the menu if there's no sauce anymore. Or at least let us know so we can make an informed decision... The server tried to rectify the situation with peanut butter sauce but that was the second strike for me... This location is not as clean as the other one (the floor had debris, paper etc). But the service is the same high level. Not sure if I would continue to recommend it...

We decided to give Hawkers another try, this time in person (previously we ordered out). We got the Seoul Hot Chicken Bao, Beef Haw Fun, and Penang Poutine. The Bao was by far the best thing there. They were hot and steamy, while the chicken thigh was perfectly crispy and coated in their hot sauce. The poutine- this was just ok. For the price, it’s highway robbery. You get hardly a serving of fries, mostly soggy, coated in the tangy sauce (was just ok), with 6-7 very small chunks of cheese curds. It was tasty, but a bit of a rip off. And then the Beef Haw Fun (basically beef with rice noodles and a soy blend sauce). This literally made us sick after eating it. There was grimy, slightly bitter substance all throughout the noodles which were all stuck together. It was an unpleasant taste, felt like it was cooked in a pot or pan that already had something old cooked in it, and whatever it was latched onto our noodles. You can see it on the picture. If this is intentional, that this dish needs a re-visit. Otherwise this completely ruined the entire visit.

Google
This was on my Restaurants to Try list for a while. After being at SeaWorld, we came by here. The food was delicious!! There were so many options, I would have to come here at least 3 more times to try everything I wanted to. Terrance was our server & he was great & explained everything. I got the Pad Thai w/Fried Egg & Fiz E Tea(I forget the name but it was dragonfruit & green tea & AMAZING) Everything was good. My mom had bulgogi & the OG Painkiller drink & enjoyed it. Would visit again if in the area!!

Yelp
Food never disappoints at Hawkers! 10/10 as always. Our server was amazing, thank you Nina!

Yelp
The curry duck noodles are to die for. Roti canai is solid. What I expect of an old fashioned, not too sweet (highly recommend and adjustment to single big ice cube if available) The environment is very cozy and inviting offering both inside and outside seating. Waitress Emily was on point, ready to answer and be informative, offering timely service with a smile! Would recommend requesting her if you're looking for a reliable and positive experience.

Yelp
Hawkers has become a favorite date night spot for us. I have been many times and I think coming here during happy hour is definitely the best move. It can be expensive if you come any other time for the portions that you are given. My husband and I both really love the Roti Canai, we get this every time. The soup dumplings are also a favorite. The service is always great too.

Yelp
I have been to the hawkers in Saint Pete and was happy to see one close to my parents place. We went out to a dinner on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy. Cute, cost spot with friendly service! We order a lot to share around. Starting with the roti, so soft so fluffy, the curry sauce was really good too. String beans, can't go wrong with fried batter on string beans. These had a 5 spice it seemed like so it was extra tasty. The Yo Yi dumplings were nice, they had good texture for the dough and the flavor profile I really liked. Yaki udon was my favorite of the two noodles, it was well rounded and the chicken was not dry. The beef haw fun, maybe haw fun is just not my dish. It wasn't anything super amazing but we definitely finished the plate. And lastly the papaya salad, I love papaya salad so much. I wish it didn't come with the dried shrimp on top if you order it without shrimp but other than that it's a fragrant addition to a hearty meal.

Maria M.

Yelp
So many delicious savory options and pretty fast service. Lots of small shareable options. The perfect place to gather with friends to chit chat!

Kathy K.

Yelp
Cute tapas style Asian fusion. Spacious spot that accommodated our larger party of 6 plus a toddler. It was good and the roti was super yummy. The dan dan noodles weren't as spicy as I'd hoped. Ordered the ribs which I was happy with. It was all good food just not so memorable

Alex M.

Yelp
Oh my! I was not expecting this in Orlando, let alone a place I haven't heard of, but has been open for some time. The food at Hawkers is some of the best offerings from various Asian cultures all under one roof with crazy good cocktails, especially if T is in the bar. We had all kinds of great dishes including the Roti with curry, the chicken wings, noodle dishes, green beans, duck bars, and more. Everything was a 4.5 or better and the service made it an easy 5.

Chris R.

Yelp
Don't sleep on this place! They have a great happy hour and all the food we tried was delicious! Our server, Ashley was very helpful and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Kurt K.

Yelp
Been wanting to try for a while and finally got the chance. Busy busy busy. But staff was very friendly and the noise level Was pretty manageable. We had some Bao buns which were very good and flavorful. Pork belly. Ummmm good. The wontons were a nice crispy treat and the dipping sauce was flavorful. Pad Thai was a good sized portion so we had leftovers for later in the day. Plenty of protein for the serving size. Protip: approach from the south to make getting in to the one entrance to the parking a tad easier. Parking is not plentiful but sufficient.

Hope M.

Yelp
Only ever been here twice, but I think basically anything you order here will be delicious, just depends if you want to spend more money for variety instead of going to a dedicated spot for each cuisine. For example, we got baos, a stir fried noodle dish, and sichuan style dumplings-- quite the variety and everything is delicious and available here! But for what the dishes are each plate is quite expensive. I hope that makes sense. Anyways, all 3 items tasted flavorful and came out fresh, and I remember my previous visit was also enjoyable. Opt to sit inside for a more bustling and fun atmosphere :)

Yelp
I really enjoyed having dinner here with my friend. We brought our dogs and sat outside. The breeze was nice, the service was spot on, and the FOOD! We got the duck bao buns, the duck curry noodles, and wok fried chicken dumplings. It was so delicious! The decor is neat and it wasn't too loud. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I've heard so many good things about this place! I finally got to try it today with a friend. They were really busy! It's a little cramped in here but it wasn't terrible. I really liked the aesthetic of the restaurant and the music. Our server was really nice and helpful explaining the menu. They have a lot of small shareable items in addition to full entree plates. We started with the Chicken Bao, these were really good! I liked the sauce and crunch on the chicken. The Bao buns were soft and fluffy. Next was the steamed Chicken dumplings, these were okay. Not much flavor going on here and the dipping sauce didn't really make up for it. Very one note, dumplings really needed some chives or more seasoning. It was just all chicken. Next was the Hong Kong Wonton soup. This was very disappointing. No flavor whatsoever, was almost like water soup. The dumplings were okay but a bit bland as well. I liked the noodles but they didn't get any flavor from the soup. We added spices from the spice rack they provide. Just made it spicy but no flavor. Lastly we got the Korean Fried Chicken Wings. These were yummy! I liked the sauce but I did wish it was spicy as indicated on the menu. I didn't get a hint of spice from these. Still good wings though. I was expecting more from this place because of all the hype. I was not very impressed. The food is good but I don't think it's outstanding. It didn't feel very authentic. I wouldn't mind coming here if friends invited me. Though I would not go out of my way to come here again. I have had better Asian food in this area.

Brittany N.

Yelp
Pros: One of our favorite restaurants in town. We come here often. It's the only restaurant we come to often. Everything is so good. We haven't had a bad thing on the entire menu, and I think we've had the entire menu at this point. The restaurant itself is so fun and high energy, and the staff is always so friendly and has a good vibe to all of them. Cons: While they're not bad, I would personally say if you like soup dumplings, these soup dumplings are not the best example. Spend your tummy space elsewhere on the expansive menu. Tips: The best of the best they have here are the Korean twice fried wings, the sticky ribs, and the roti. We literally have never come here and not gotten roti to start things off with.

Rebecca V.

Yelp
Came here while app-hopping (like bar hopping but for appetizers) with friends. The place has a lively environment and is located in a great spot. The parking lot is a bit small, but we ended up parking down the street anyway. The staff is friendly and the food is super good - love the potstickers.

Natesha G.

Yelp
YUMMM! The appetizer, cocktail, entree, and dessert were all 10/10! This is rare. I had the Roti, Adult Capri sun, Curry Duck noodles, and the Banana Spring rolls. They were all so delicious I cant wait to go back We were seated quickly after arriving upon arrival. The inside of the location was really nice, unlike anything I have seen. The only regret I have is not eating here before.

Tiffany J.

Yelp
We stopped by for an early family lunch, just before the rush, and had a fantastic experience. The menu offers a variety of mouth-watering Asian street food options. The atmosphere is laid-back, with the bonus of outdoor seating. Our server was attentive, and the food arrived promptly. We came in hungry and left satisfied, happy, and full!

Teresa K.

Yelp
The food in this restaurant was stellar. Really delicious. The kimchi fried rice was divine! Service was excellent too. The wait staff was extremely attentive and kind. The restrooms were very clean and the decor was fun. My only complaint was that it was FREEZING cold in the restaurant on a day that was not particularly hot outside. My whole family (with small children) was uncomfortably cold. The music was also very loud so it was hard to have a conversation. Otherwise the place was great and I would return again in the future.

Kaylynn A.

Yelp
When I say this place was amazing, I truly mean absolutely wonderful! The food is SO delicious. I definitely had to try a few things & nothing was disappointing at all. The service was wonderful & quick! I loved the happy hour. It's best to go on a week day to avoid large crowds and wait times. Also no issues when parking on the weekdays! The restaurant was cute but a bit tiny inside. I have not visited any other locations but am looking forward to doing so soon. I think pricing is fair, the food is so great. I loved the sticky ribs! I can't wait to go back soon.

Sandy T.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. As a bunch of NYers we wanted some asian food. The menu wasnt huge but had a decent selection. Portions are pretty small. Nothing we ordered was outstanding in flavor. Everything was mediocre. The laska was okay. Lots of bean sprouts not enough noodles. My cousins did enjoy the wings. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was cute. Private parking lot so that was good.

Luis V.

Yelp
Wonderful experience . The servers are thoughtful for the customers and the children they come with. The food is top notch- roti canai is a great dish that isn't found in other dine-ins a must try at least once. The atmosphere is great and so is the decoration on the walls.

Ashley A.

Yelp
Hawkers is nestled in Orlando in the Mills Area. This place is always so busy - every time we go - and it's evident as to why. There is inside and outside seating available. Every time we have family here visiting - we always bring them to Hawkers. We love to get a ton of dishes and share them to optimize trying even more items! The food and the service are always consistent and great. My go-to is the roti with the dipping sauce. That sauce is one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. I would pour that on everything that I eat. The bao buns are always delicious and a staple when I go, along with the twice fried Korean Wings. I always also have to get a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. There's such a plethora of noodle and rice dishes, we're still working our way through trying them all. In the last 18 months, I've had two children and what food do I always want once they're both here - Hawkers! Every time I leave here, I am always impatient to get back again!

Chelsea D.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time and they serve small bites for quite an expensive price. I ordered the soup dumplings and bao for myself. My partner ordered the chicken egg rolls and spring rolls. The bao was delicious. The soup dumplings were good but not filled with enough broth in my opinion. One dumpling I had, had no broth! The spring rolls and chicken egg rolls were mid. The restaurant was very busy and the service was ok. Our server took a while to get to us, I think it's because she was working the bar too. For 4 small plates, our total was over $40. However, they serve many other options of Asian street food that I didn't get to try. Maybe next time.

Allen N.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. All the food was really good and fresh. Definitely will continue to visit

Chris A.

Yelp
I first reviewed Hawkers about five years ago. I have a general rule that I try not to go back to the same restaurant again until my personal five year "statute of limitations" has passed. This forces me to continue to explore and try new places. But when you have a place as special as Hawkers, I have no choice but to break my own rules. And I have certainly broken them. I've probably been to Hawkers two dozen times since 2019. And I have no regrets. Obviously, the people love it, too. There are many more new locations since 2019. I just hope quantity doesn't lead to the decline in quality, like a few other local chains have suffered from. So far, so good, though, every time is just like the first time, and they certainly aren't afraid to try new, awesome menu items! I brought a friend here to show them the awesomeness at the end of last summer, and they were in the middle of a seasonal menu. So I had to get a seasonal item. Who knew if I would ever see it again! Of course, it was such a banger, that it is now on their regular menu. I got the Duck Fried Rice (Five-spice hand-pulled duck, lap cheong, egg, crispy shallots, and veggies. Optional fried duck leg add-on). Yes, yes, yes. Delicious, tender duck. Fried shallots. Great flavor throughout. A good portion size. And yes, I got that duck leg, which was more delicious meat. I was in heaven. They have a winner here. Of course we also got the Roti Canai. I haven't ever gone to Hawkers and not gotten the Roti. It's the perfect appetizer. Thin, flakey, crispy roti. A heavenly little bowl of the signature curry sauce. Friendships have been forged over this dish. Lovely. So year, I don't have a ton to write from my most recently visit, but I've already been again since even this visit, and I anticipate that 2024 will be my most Hawkers filled year yet!

Yelp
This was a unique experience for me as I do not usually eat tapas. First, I will say that the building is larger than it looks from the street however, the parking lot is small. If going on a busy night try and find some close street parking. The interior also is fairly loud which may hinder an intimate date location. It definitely seemed to be a better place for groups but I don't think a group larger than 5-6 would be comfortable. The menu is large enough for anyone to find something but also designed to need several visits to try everything. I did not plan accordingly and would have had a lighter lunch to get more food in this trip. Also, the food comes out as made, so some things come quicker than others. However, worth the wait but also good to know if planning an event after. I had lamb skewers and summer rolls and they were great. The lamb was so tender. While designed to be shared, I personally wanted it all for myself because of how good it was. The sauce that comes with it compliments the skewer very well while not taking away from any of the perfection of the lamb. The spring rolls were great! I'm used to them also having chicken in there but found that the shrimp on its own with the peanut sauce was excellent. The rolls were made so well that none of the filling fell out as I ate. We also had the curry duck noodles. This was FANTASTIC. Worth the wait. I would go just for this. The noodles have perfect flavor and the curry was not too spicy nor too mild. The duck is shredded enough to allow to eat with chopsticks and not worry about eating all your meat before finishing the noodles. They have sake but only cold and by the glass. The flight is probably the best option if you prefer sake and don't want to do a full bottle. All in all, I loved this visit and would definitely go back. The service was great and the food was amazing.

Breanna H.

Yelp
I have to say I was a little disappointed when I went to Hawkers a couple weeks ago. It has been a. While since I have been, but I was not as impressed as I thought I was when I first went several years ago. I want to start off by saying that the service we received was OK. The server I believe his name was Mitch, was well mannered, but it did take some time for him to come over to us, and for us to get our food and drinks and check I don't think that was necessarily his fault but I do believe that they were maybe short staffed and that that is the reason it was taking so long. Otherwise he was very friendly and have a good recommendations. The menu was surprisingly small for what I thought they could offer. I was a little disappointed that they did not have any sushi or any other type of fresh Asian cuisine. I did like the wings and the Bao filled with duck we had was just okay. But for $70 it was nowhere near enough food and we had to stop at a different restaurant to fill up. I think that the menu is lackluster. And that the food did not really stand out to me. I most likely will not return to a Hawkers as I feel that you can get a better selection at other Asian restaurants.

Ricarta C.

Yelp
Love love love ! Give me all the food and drinks because the vibe here is Ahhmazing! Came here for a casual date night and really enjoyed the food, music and service.

Corey H.

Yelp
BEST FOOD IN ORLANDO! Hawkers is a must when I come into town to visit my family from Colorado. Many wonderful family memories have occurred over their dishes. Can't wait to visit when I'm in town over the holidays.

Anthony T.

Yelp
Food was awesome. Our server was excellent. He told us about vegan options as well. Highly recommend.

Brittany P.

Yelp
Update: We went back to try again and I'm very glad we did - We had a much improved experience! We tried some different things this time and all of them were very good! To start we got the Shrimp Summer Rolls, which with the basil and mint were fresh and perfect when paired with the peanut dipping sauce. For the mains, we ordered Korean Twice Fried Wings (crunchy and flavorful!), Bulgogi Steak (sweet and delicious!), and the Chow Faan (not a standout, but a good pairing with the other two). Very good! And the cherry on top, so to speak, was the Jo-He Bag of Donuts (so good that we go a second order!!). Don't skip dessert!

Devin D.

Yelp
What a cool little place. This used to be a Chinese restaurant a long time ago before it became Hawkers. This was my first time to this place. I didn't eat anything today so I could try as much as I could for a late lunch. Parking lot is a bit small but there is a bunch of parking along the neighborhood side streets. It's a tapas kinda place where the food cones out when it's ready not all at once. It is a good thing too as the tables for 2 are slightly smaller than the amount of food I was about to order:) Started out with a little drink called the O.G. Painkiller. A little rum, pineapple and coconut never hurt anybody:) great drink to sip on while we waited for all the food. Let's steady with the best thing we ate. The Roti Canai. This flaky piece of carbohydrate was so good that we argued on who would get the last bite. We settled the argument and just ordered more lol.. the curry dipping sauce was so delicious and tasty that whatever was left was used to dip some of the other food that came to the table. The crispy pork belly and crispy tofu bites were also really good the pork belly came with a hoisin dipping sauce and the tofu had some five spice action going on. These were of course also dipped into the left over curry from the Roti Canai dish:) Ask for the spice sauce tray. It comes with 3 different sauces. The green one has some Thai chili's, some citrus and a small hint of fish sauce. The orange one is salsa like with i think a habanero based sauce. And the red one is their chilli oil. All three were unique and made each bite of food different than the last. The KFC came out as the vegetable egg rolls came out. At this time we knew we needed to make some room so we started to devour everything in sight. The egg rolls were crispy and came with a little vinegar based sauce. The KFC was a slightly heavier than others if tried in the batter but it was still tasty, sweet and savory. Then came the soup dumplings! Hot fresh and a perfect vessel for the chilli oil. The last dumpling I put all 3 sauces on it and it was actually really tasty:) it did come with some soy sauce and some thinly sliced ginger as well which was also a great bite. I gotta say it, I had a great time Stuffing my face with all this food. So much more to taste. I look forward to coming back and crowding my table with several plates of food.

Yelp
I keep forgetting to go here! Finally went out with my wife for Valentines Day here and holy shit all the food was so good. I don't think I needed the bao buns but had them anyway since I thought I needed them. Ordered a bunch of food and every single thing was better than the next including the desert which were these donuts that had coconut dipping sauce. The donuts are somewhat of a fake ass zeppoli and not heavy at all, so like a liter zeppoli. Waitress was great, she knew everything about the menu and told us everything we needed to know. It was raining and we sat outside but its covered so no big deal but the streets were pretty loud with the cars on it. I would say sitting outside in the day time would be better. They had the heaters on outside too which good as fuck. NEED TO GO BACK. Didnt realize it was a chain as well so kind of a let down but not since the food was so good.

Sankaya H.

Yelp
Ordered udon noodles to-go. The food was excellent and the manager was very mindful of my allergies. Since I'm allergic to sesame seeds, I couldn't order a lot of what I truly wanted. Though frustrated (with my own situation), I appreciated the top tier customer service. Inside, the place was jam packed! They should think about expanding

Thomas P.

Yelp
I would come just for the roti and spicy dipping sauce. it's that good! Hawkers of course is well known and considered one of the best asian restaurants in Orlando (which is disputed by most asians including myself). But even with that, everything is truly delicious here. They have essentially street food represented from many countries. So you can totally order up a bunch for small plates with a group and chow down on a huge variety. They do have a few full entree sized items including soups/stews but this place is really about the small plates. Haven't had a bad one yet. Service is always friendly and great. They let you know that food comes out as it's ready so this isn't a "everyone orders their meal and eats at the same time." This is really about getting 1-2 dishes out at a time and everyone digging in until the next round arrives. That all being said, I've done a solo run here with 2 small plates and it was perfect as well. Next time I'll try one of the soups! If you haven't, check this place out. Definitely worth it. But it's not replacing your favorite other Asian restaurants that you go to. This is its own thing.

Sergio S.

Yelp
Food was great as always. Also came out quickly. The bartender was friendly and had a fun personality. The bar was cozy and the Spritz was refreshing. The sake flight was also smooth

Michael M.

Yelp
We have a Hawker's near home but I've not been there yet, so during this holiday weekend in Orlando we decided to get it in. My first stop is always the restroom and this one didn't disappoint. Large, and clean. Good first impression! The interior is kind of industrial decor, high ceilings, recycled pallet wood, and metal paneling. No doubt intended to look like the street hawker's stalls the place is named after, but it means the place gets very loud very quickly. Our server was fast, efficient, helpful, explaining things for my first visit and remembering requests we made. Then there was the food! Oh my goodness, so good! Drinks were good, don't get me wrong, but the food slapped! LOL I never say that but I did for this place. All of it was really good but from least to best we had crispy pork belly, (just a little dried out) with a Korean BBQ sauce, five spice sticky ribs were sticky and sweet and so damn tender, Korean fried chicken wings were meaty, crunchy, garlicky, yum yum but the best thing by far was the soup dumplings. Pillowy purses filled with deliciousness and served with black vinegar on the side. Two thumbs way up!

Yelp
First visit to this Hawkers location in Orlando. Dining area is bright, comfy and spacious. Wherever you sit one can get great views of the various dishes ordered by other customers. Service was excellent. Staff and management is friendly, professional and helpful with choosing what to order. Food was very fresh and savory. Portions are great. Look forward to my next visit for some delicious Asian fare!

Yelp
Food: love the food here especially their pad thai definitely worth trying, the chicken wing deliciousness however if you dont like spicy stay away but if you like spicy then order them. Definitely need to order the roti!!! Ambiance: this place never disappoints me. I been here a few times and have brought some friends to introduce them to the food and they so far have loved it. Service: has always been fast and efficient. If there's a wait the wait is not that and it worth the wait.

Yelp
Staff was great but I don't get the hype about this place. The duck bao bun was good but so much soy sauce that I had a migraine by the time I got home. The udon noodles were brown from sauce my local sushi spot makes them better. The shrimp on a stick looked ok and a fair portion but honestly none of the food left me impressed. Yes it was made fresh but it was not anything to write home about.

Yelp
What can I saw, this food is fire. Went with a work crew so we managed to sample a lot of different menu items. Everything was proper. I had the ramen and it did not disappoint. Other highlights were the kimchi fried rice and lamb skewers. Was so good I got a whole other order to go. Highly recommend this spot. Wait staff Maggie was super friendly as well.

Yelp
I can't believe I've never written a review for Hawkers, we come here at least once a month if not more. This is our go to tie breaker restaurant when we are hungry, I don't feel like cooking and not necessarily in the mood to try something new. I can't recommend the roti canai enough. The curry sauce is so good you'll want to pick up the container and drink it and it pairs so well with the crispy roti. The spring rolls are a favorite of mine as well as the Korean twice fried wings. Just a heads up; the wings are $5 on happy hour special, but they are actually a cut up thigh (I'm happy with that, thighs have always been my favorite piece of chicken). Hawkers is served as shareable small plates, but the rice and noodle dishes are to me, more entree sized. I've yet to have anything I didn't like there. The soup dumplings are yummy, I get them almost every time.

Yelp
We came with a large group towards the end of the night and the staff helped us put together a big enough table. Our server made great recommendations and the food came out quick. Everything was great but we especially loved the Roti, pork belly bao, and donuts. We will definitely be back. I also loved that the Thai Tea came with whipped cream.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite restaurant in Orlando. The drinks are phenomenal and the food is spectacular every time. Any time I have friends visiting in town, I bring them here. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 recommend!!

Yelp
Finally made it here after years of living in Orlando and I can't believe I waited so long! They have a smaller parking lot and if no spot's available you can find some street parking. Also I suggest going on their site to put yourself in line because it's pretty but totally worth the wait. Inside it's pretty big and it's lots of tables and seating. The bar is right up front so if you're able to get a drink while waiting. The mojito is served in a bag but better than expected. The chicken egg rolls perfectly cooked and tasted great with the duck sauce. The Sichuan wontons were really good with a hint of spice but not the kind that lingers. Our absolute favorite was the Bulgogi steak. It seriously tasted so good to both of us I highly recommend it as one of your starters. For entrees I had beef haw fun and she had the same pad Thai. Mine tasted good but I felt it needed soy sauce but the pad Thai was the best. If you haven't been don't wait any longer! Definitely a new favorite place.

Yelp
Came here for lunch to meet old coworkers. I always get the roti canai here and Vietnamese iced coffee if not the Thai tea They had fries added to the menu and we tried those out - hiiiiighly recommend I tried something new and got the popo's curry. It is very delicious - it uses the same curry from the roti canai as the base, but tbh it is a lot of flavor for a meal. I will definitely try something new next time. Overall, I have a good experience whenever I can make it here. Parking can be dicey bc of how it's laid out and how popular of a lunch spot this can be so try to make it early-ish if possible. I look forward to coming here again.

Yelp
HAPPY HOUR does still faintly exist! Went to @eathawkers over in Mills50 and was surprised they had a HH menu. Ever since the pandemic I feel like HH became non existent. HH menu consists of $5 small plates, half off baos, and $3 off all alcohol bevvies. Make sure to double check your check, my server forgot that drinks for HH were $3 off. My go-to non HH order is the curry laksa and roti canai. Pre-pandemic I would go at least once a week and get this for lunch. This ends my PSA.

Yelp
I have no words to express how good the food is here! I finally gave it a try after my visitors from out of town were craving Asian cuisine. We were a group of 6 so we had a fest trying all the different items on the menu. Let me start by recommending making a reservation regardless of the day or time, especially if you are a large group. I went on a Tuesday night and it was packed. Luckily we only waited for about 30 minutes... it was worth it. The restaurant is small plates style so most items are shareable. I think this is great because you can try the different things on their menu. We ate a lot, so here is the list of the things we ordered: - Roast Duck Baos - Chinese BBQ Pork Baos - Soup Dumplings - Chicken Egg Rolls (My least favorite) - Bulgogi Steak - Five-Spice Sticky Ribs ( My FAVORITE) - Pad Thai - Lo Mein - Steak and Kimchi Fried Rice (Spicy but amazing) We also ordered cocktails which didn't make it to the photos. I love the concept of this restaurant. It is fun, casual and the food is amazing! Overall, this place has become my favorite and I regret taking so long to try it. Tip: Parking at the Mills location can be challenging so keep that in mind. Note: they have Coca-Cola products which is a plus for me.

Yelp
One of the best feelings is when you have extraordinarily high expectations for your first time at a restaurant and they are not met, but exceeded! Hawkers deserves all the hype and love it receives. I have no excuse as to what took me so long to finally make my way here, but now that I've been, this will undoubtedly become a new frequent spot for me. While they don't accept reservations, you can do a call ahead which we took advantage of this past Saturday evening (it's a must because there was a massive crowd gathered outside, which I imagine is common on a weekend here). After about 30 mins of wait time, I was notified via text that our table was ready, and we were lead to a high top nearby the bar area. Lisa greeted us soon after, took our drink order and gave us a run down of the menu after discovering it was our first time at Hawkers. I had the Yuzu Spritz which was their take on an "Aperol Spritz", which I really enjoyed and my boyfriend tried the lemongrass mojito which came in a cute "capri sun" type bag and said it was refreshing. Now onto the food..WOW! I was a huge fan of just about everything. The Sichuan Wontons were flavorful & the peanut sauce was an interesting twist, the chicken egg rolls had great crunch and I appreciated they weren't over fried like so many egg rolls usually are, and the beef haw fun was tasty. However, the two dishes that were hands down the star of the show were the Pad Thai and the Bulgogi Steak! Wow - these were beyond delicious and I could not get enough! This was one of the best Pad Thais I've ever had and the steak was ridiculously delicious (the glaze/sauce was insanely flavorful). It's clear to see why these 2 dishes are so often mentioned in reviews as "'must orders" on their menu! I can't stress enough how terrific the food is here. While it's pretty casual inside and I wouldn't consider it a romantic date night spot, it's still a nice atmosphere with a fun vibe and "out of this world" food. While the prices are a little on the expensive side for the portions, the quality and flavors make up for it and I consider everything I tried well worth the money. My only complaint was the noise level but that's not something I can fault the restaurant for. Get your butt on over to Hawkers if you haven't been yet and discover some of the best dishes in all of Orlando!
