"This casual vegan spot uses fresh ingredients for dishes made from scratch and also boasts a completely dairy and gluten-free menu. Known for its smoothies and warm grain bowls, this cafe is great for a quick lunch on-the-go and is safe for people with celiac disease. The Buddha Bowl with marinated mushrooms and onion cashew cream is a crowd favorite. For dessert, Heartbeet’s pure pies, which are similar to a vegan cheesecake, include flavors like a rich chocolate mousse torte, bright key lime, and tiramisu with a geometric dusting of cocoa powder." - Dylan Joffe, Maggy Lehmicke, Sabra Boyd

"This charming little shop on Queen Anne Avenue specializes in plant-based, superfood-laden smoothies, juices, salads and grain bowls. The menu is gluten- and dairy-free, with many items available raw, so diners can indulge worry-free in a Cookie Monster smoothie or a vibrantly green Buddha Bowl. HeartBeet also has a sister company, Pure Pies, to meet the need for a sweet yet virtuous treat after a superfood-packed meal." - Lori Bailey

"If you’re the kind of person who will only drink a smoothie that tastes like a peppermint patty or a coconut milkshake, HeartBeet is the actually-kind-of-healthy juice shop you’ll want to visit. Their smoothies are made with homemade nut milks and taste like dessert (our favorite is the minty Oh My Wonka), and the space is perfect for hanging out with your laptop and a grain bowl." - Aimee Rizzo

I can't live without HeartBeet. I've been a loyal patron since their Ravenna days before they moved to Queen Anne. Every visit has been spectacular and delicious. This place isn't cheap but it's worth the healthier choice. My favorites are their variety of vegan desserts, especially their pies. I can't live without their flu buster warm drink in the fall and winter months. They just make it perfect and spicy. I enjoy their miso soup all their warm bowls and the coconutty smoothie 🥤. I highly recommend you visit, if you're in a pinch and can't make these vegan items at home.

Google
Amazing service, very yummy food. I feel like the containers could have been a little larger with some more grains in them, they were nice and full which made it a bit hrs to eat without making a mess, but that’s a pretty weak complaint really I was super happy with the whole experience.

Google
I love this place so much. I particularly like the Awaken and the Thai bowls, but I want everything on the menu! The ginger lemonade is also splendid. I recommend getting the large size, always: $2 more for a lot more food. You can order online too! I just wish there was a location in the South. Any time I'm in the area though, I make a point of stopping here. I've also shared this place with just about everyone I love.

Google
I can’t say enough good things about HeartBeet. I recently moved to Queen Anne and this has become my favorite lunch spot. The soups are delicious (miso and butternut squash) and the superfood salad is an absolute must. Stop by and give them a try!

Jacy Wattenbarger

Google
I just bout the best soup I have ever had in my life. This butternut squash soup is delicious. It has hints of ginger in it that I wasn’t sure about at first taste but the more I eat the better it is. It’s got the consistency of apple with a kick. I love it. I got the Raptor smoothie as well. It was a little watery but that is bound to happen when it’s delivered.

Google
Fantastic vegan (mostly raw) food. We had both burgers and they were terrific! Fresh ingredients, and the food has flavor!!! Really well done. Most options are GF as well.

Jessica Smith

Google
The food is spectacular and it's all gluten-free and vegan. Much of it is also raw. Tried the pie sampler and the salads/bowls. Delicious. The staff is great, too.

Google
This place is cool. Smoothies, drinks, salads, grain bowls. All very healthy and tasty. Minimal indoor seating so more of a quick salad place or stop by for a smoothie, but not a place to go for a dinner date.

Yelp
Top three favorites: ***Lentil soup = 5 thousand stars! Best I've ever had! (Instead of typical broth-y base, it has a creamy texture like split pea soup, plus an inviting and exciting balanced pepper kick!) ***Single, raw, dipped coconut macaroon = 5 stars. You won't find a fresher version. This is perfect for those who want to end their meal with a sweet bite, but without guilt or overdoing it. ***Chia pudding bowl = The fresh and mixed toppings! Fresh dates, dried sweet bananas, and more atop a billowy chia base. More base than I can finish, but worth it nonetheless. ***Pie sampler of 4 mini pieces = Just rich and dense enough for one little piece to be enough. Put the other three in the fridge for the week. ***Buddha bowl = A pleasant mix of temperatures and textures. Warm grains mixed with cool veggies, mushrooms, nuts, dressing, and -- my favorites -- walnut crumble and cashew cream! ***Miso Madness soup = Packed with chopped veggies! I recommend adding the kelp noodles.

Yelp
Right in the heart of Queen Anne, this is an incredible place to come for smoothies, of which they have a lot of varieties that come in creative forms. My favorite is the PB and J smoothie with protein. Popular in the mornings before work and right after work. The staff led by Kim is super friendly and they were extremely helpful in guiding me towards all the most popular items on the menu. They are currently open most days from 11am to 7pm. Definitely will be back!

Ryen B.

Yelp
Miso madness soup and Joyful bowl again. I wish I had a bit of hot sauce to add to the joyful bowl, but still tasty. They were out of the dark chocolate salted caramel dessert, so I lucked out with the mini pie sampler instead. It was a nice way to try a few of the desserts that I probably would not have ordered myself- I liked them all. The strawberry cream and key lime were both nice, lighter options. Tiramisu was also tasty. The chocolate mousse was the richest of the four. All good. Will try a few of the other menu options next time.

Yelp
Sadly, I learned they would be closing. I was planning to give them a 5-star review until I saw someone behind the counter blowing their nose and start to serve themselves a drink touching the ice scoop without washing her hands. I did mention it to someone who expressed, what I thought was the appropriate level of concern. The ginger shot was SO good and the food was exactly what I was looking for. The manager was awesome!!

Nick B.

Yelp
This place is really good. I liked the Buddha bowl as well like others. This is soul food. Mind it though you foodies, they don't have anything buttery or deep fried and the food may seem to be a little raw. I liked it though.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Ordered a takeout PB&J smoothie and Buddha bowl (per the employee's recommendation) in person as soon as they opened on a Saturday morning. A line quickly formed in back of us so they seem to be popular. Our order took about 10 minutes to be prepared. We enjoyed what we ordered and felt really healthy afterwards. I'll definitely be back to try other things on their menu!

Amanda J.

Yelp
I love how clean everything is here and come here a lot, however, the food can sometimes be a little bland. Overall, I really appreciate the Organic and GF options, I hope they can expand their menu some!

Sarah L.

Yelp
Everything that this business produces is amazing. I love that they have whole food options and have made amazingly tasty deserts without the sugar! It's simply splendid. I have gone in multiple times to stock up on pie slices (i have to try them all!) My boyfriend loved the coconut macarons. And I don't feel guilty enjoying something so pure and natural. It's food I would make myself and struggle to find out in the world. The icing on the cake was my celestial smoothie - i almost regretted my decision after ordering because I figured that the mint/chocolate combo would be super sweet. It has the perfect touch of sweetness, and is a creamy chocolatey minty dream! Tastes healthy and delicious! The staff is also super friendly and helpful! Thank you! I love this business! I am here to support you!! Thank you for making such amazing and health conscious treats!!

Tom S.

Yelp
Their vegan, gluten-free food is awesome for anyone and unmatched for my wife who is on a restricted diet. We placed a wacky half carry-out, half dine-in order and the staff was perfectly accommodating, packing things up to make it easy to eat our meal there and take home yummy desserts for later. I had the Flourish, coconut curry over red rice and quinoa. The curry spices were amazing, warming without being spicy, a wonderful complex flavor.

Lauren R.

Yelp
Love this place and so glad it's made it through [what I hope has been] the worst of the pandemic. We stopped by a lot last summer for smoothies and juice, and have started ordering takeout more often now. The Joyful bowl was delicious, especially the miso dressing. The Mint Marble Torte brought me back to Baskin Robbins' mint chip ice cream cake served at birthday parties. It has a drop too much mint flavor to me, but the creamy texture and crunchy crust makes up for is. The chocolate Torte is also great, very rich and easy to share a slice. Oh My Wonka smoothie is also chocolatey and minty, and the chocolate macroons are so bomb. We also ordered a coconut curry for later. Picture is from the small patio last summer on a gorgeous summer day.

Yelp
Clean 'n good in the QA 'hood. Seriously the salads and bowls are delish. Dressings solid.... Soups warm my soul & insides... Best damn dairy free, key lime pie to top it off (made w/ avocado & coconut). Seriously do your bod a favor & savor.

Michael W.

Yelp
I'm certainly not vegan or vegetarian. However, when I'm traveling I find vegetarian places as an easy way to find some healthy options. I tried the place a couple times and got a mix of very good dishes and underwhelming dishes. The chia pudding was underwhelming to me. It was okay but I wouldn't get it again. The pudding portion was too watery. I got a Kale grain bowl that was delicious. I've never had kale and said to myself, "I wish I had more." Each bite was delicious from start to finish. I tried the Poppey which was my favorite meal so far. Pretty good with a great sauce. I even enjoyed the mushrooms which are normally not a favorite. Lastly, I love the salted caramel cake! Some of the meals are a 5 star for sure. Others are good but slightly underwhelming.

Yelp
I used to be a regular patron of the Thrive Cafe when they were on 64th and Roosevelt. That was 9 years ago I started getting their smoothies and bowls. That was 9 years ago. I still love many of their smoothies and bowls, made with healthy nourishing natural ingredients. For years I have loved that they were one of the few natural superfoods cafes in seattle that is completely sustainable. Their packaging, even their cups and straws used to be compostable more recently they have been phasing out of some of the compostable packaging and switching to recyclable plastic. The fact that they offered their fabulous healthy products in compostable plastics is one of the motivating factors that encouraged me to buy their stuff instead of from other places. That is why I am giving them a three star review. I have been following and advocating for ecological sustainability since 2017. I know that compostable plastics do take years to completely break down in the earth or industrial composting facilities. But recyclable petro plastics often do not get recycled anymore because of the exponentially increasing rate at which billions of humans on earth are using and rapidly disposing of recyclable plastics. Even the ones that get properly received in the recycling systems are too much in number and volume for the infrastructure to keep up with. Let's all work to be responsible stewards of this planet. We would not be here if our ancestors did not live and exist in relative harmony with our planet. We should be no different. Yes we live in a different industrial civilization, but money is not more important than our planet and our survival. That of the countless species of flora and fauna who live here too.

Jac F.

Yelp
Kind staff, delicious and opulent food. Gluten free is easy to do here! I also loved the bamboo cutlery kit you can buy. Clean, friendly, and fast! You can even order ahead.

Carly R.

Yelp
OBSESSED with this amazing cafe. I'm a frequent customer, as their food is healthy, wholesome, and so delicious! I recommend anything on their menu, but I'm a huge fan of their pure pies. Queen Anne staff are wonderful, too. Check 'em out. :)

Alicia J.

Yelp
Food was okay, I feel bad saying this but it didn't look as good in person as it does in the pictures.

Ishali T.

Yelp
Not happy with my meal at all. I ordered two bowls off grubhub. I got a Thai bowl without rice/quinoa and it was practically just cucumber pieces. Did not enjoy their mighty Thai sauce. Their trivalicious bowl was also pretty bland. We could not finish either of the items because of the taste, even when the portion sizes were very small. Might give them another shot without any customization for a fair chance in the far future.

Rose B.

Yelp
I ordered the mighty Thai expecting it to be amazing and have a lot of cabbage but there was maybe less than 1/4 of a cup of cabbage... Everything else was carrots. The dressing was good but I wasn't happy with the final result.

Brooke P.

Yelp
I want to like the food. I really do. I'm vegetarian, and love the idea of creative vegetarian food, but this place has consistently failed to deliver. Today, after my fourth time visiting and my fourth time trying their food, I have quit myself of it, and will never again give it a chance. Totally unfilling, unsubstantial and lacking in coherent flavor profiles, the food here fails to please. I'm sad about it.

Alysha S.

Yelp
I'm embarrassed I haven't come back to update this review, because it's absolutely deserved. I was in the area for an appointment during pandemic times and thought why not grab some immune boosting juice while I'm here. The staff was SOOO kind, patient and helpful. I left with a smoothie, a juice and some vegan snacks for later. After that I looked forward to bi-monthly visits, recommended to many friends, and sent my boyfriend anytime I was feeling under the weather. I recently moved out of the area to Totem lake and wish there was something like this around because I miss it so much.

RL S.

Yelp
Will never order from this place again. Just ordered the coco nutty right now. There are no cashews, or dates, just coconut water with coconut meat. Northern lights had NO greens like it's supposed to. And my salad is overly salted. What the actual fuck. Entire order fucking botched. What the fuck. I know how things are supposed to taste because I've ordered these items many times before. What the fuck. Entire order botched. Salad over salted. I don't know how you even do that. Coconutty did not include cashews, Himalayan salt, dates as it should have. Northern lights had no greens whatsoever. Entire order purposefully botched. Avoid this place. Stealing your money.

Jenny T.

Yelp
Was so happy to find this gem on Queen Ann. This was a really great vegan/GF find. It is more of a to go environment, although we hung out and enjoyed our bowls at the counter top looking out to the street. I enjoyed the Buddha bowl and my daughter had the Popeye's Last Stand. Both were amazing, although I think the overall flavor on the Popeye's Last stand was a little better. There was complimentary alkiline water infused with mint to accompany our meal. We concluding with their mint truffle. I will for sure be back here for the type of food I crave! Not to mention there is lots more on the menu I want to try!

Mei E.

Yelp
Love this place. Second time here and it was just as delicious the second visit! I got the Joyful Salad Bowl and it was so satisfying. Everything was super fresh and one major plus is that give a decent amount of avocado (which is not super common). Star of the bowl are the kelp noodles! I've had them a few other places but these are the best I've had. They are full of flavor and less crunchy here than other places I've had them, the teriyaki flavor is awesome. My friend got the Popeye's Last Stand grain bowl and was obssessed. I had a bite and it was so yummy, the miso stew was SO good. Quinoa and rice base makes this a super filling bowl too. Only complaint is that it there is basically no seating here. One community bar style table inside with about five seats, maybe six(?) and two two-person tables outside - which werent very useful as it was raining. Amazing food, great healthy vegan/vegetarian food that could satisfy everyone!!

Jenna M.

Yelp
I'm one of those pesky customers who requests alterations to their smoothies (no mint, no cacao, etc) and appreciate that they get it right every time. Super tasty, clean and refreshing food.

Isabel A.

Yelp
I'm actually disappointed! I wanted to love this place because it's vegan and organic. I placed an online order on Monday at 7:30pm because on Apple Maps it said they were open until 8pm. I do not live in the Seattle area I just happens to be close ish when I ordered food. I get there at 8:50 and the store is closed so I had to order and pay for food somewhere else. Anyways I decided to drive back about 40 min from my house. I told them about my situation and they told me they had made the food earlier that day and gave it to someone else. She also mentioned that they are closed at 7pm and closed on Monday's. So yeah I was peeved that another person got my food for free and I had to drive 40 min back for them to not make it right at all all they gave me was a quick apology. They made my food again no issue. I just feel as if they didn't make it up to me in any way for my inconvenience. I understand it's a small business but I mean I paid $50 for a grain bowl a smoothie and some pies. I was kind of hoping they would offer me something as I told them I do not live in the area. But anyways the food was pretty good I thought my grain and noodle bowl had good flavor. I definitely did not like the miso soup it had such a strong flavor that I was not expecting at all. The smoothie was pretty good. My biggest issue by far is the portion sizes! They are so small! My noodle bowl was mostly filled with lettuce even though I paid an extra $2.50 for the noodles. The smoothies was also very small for the price!! I will probably not come back as I feel I was ripped off with the portion sizes. I get it you have to pay more for organic but at least give me enough food to where I'm not still hungry after paying $50.

Laura B.

Yelp
This place has the worst customer service. Bad communication. So many unhappy customers. Totally not worth it.

Khoi N.

Yelp
Power healthy vegetarian or vegan foods only here. Stopped by and ordered the cookie monster, nourish and revive smoothies. They were delicious. The revive had a strong savory taste and the nourish and avocado was awesome. The staff here is really friendly and knowledgeable of all the different flavor combos. Definitely a fun hip healthy place to visit for some healthy food options.

Revive L.

Yelp
Damn, everything went super down hill real quick. Depending on which location you go to and who's working on your drinks, it's a huge, huge mixed bag. Twice the juices were good, three other times the juices were watered down. Twice the smoothies were messed up. One time, it was watered down and I could hardly taste any of the ingredients. The other time the order was messed up and plenty of ingredients were left out, and when it was remade, the smoothie still has chunks of ingredients instead of being smoothed out. You want a real smoothie? Drive up to Everett to Cafe Wylde. There's justice there. Here, not so much. Or if you're not too lazy and or busy, just make this for yourself at home, especially if you've got a juicer, like what I included in my pictures.

Sophie N.

Yelp
I found this place to be okay. The ingredients were fresh, but their salads weren't very satiating. It doesn't really come with a protein source. I wish there were tofu options or other plant based protein options included. It was also overpriced compared to other places I've been in the area and the portions were definitely smaller. If you're looking for a simple salad bar that is vegan, this place is for you, but I think there are better options out there.

Em S.

Yelp
Nothing ever improves with this place, it only gets worse. Today I received a Northen Lights juice which was absolutely riddled with beet juice (it's a GREEN juice & was RED when I received it). Staff told me they didn't have time to clean the juicing machine so I got "a little" beet pulp - Hmmm I don't think this is a "little" beet juice. The juice taste completely unlike Northern Lights and was super sugary. Not cool. In addition my Superbowl salad was majorly lacking - like where is the ginger, onions or jalapeños?? I found A tiny tiny little piece of jalapeño in my last bite! How disappointing. The ginger & onion seemed non existent. Finally, I received a BOXED coconut water - even though their online ordering system said they hack the coconut (in house) daily. How lame & what deception.

Marosa T.

Yelp
Food is awesome for the cucumber salad with tahini dressing a few desserts and shakes .. pricy and don't appreciate the 18% added gratuity for all veggie a$140 little much, what bombed the experience is the aweful customer service by the older lady @ the ordering counter had zero patience and wanted us out of there .. will go back to their other location not here

Emily F.

Yelp
I entered HeartBeet around 5:45pm, and yet the staff had already put the done-in chairs on top of the tables. When I asked if I could sit at the bar, as they close daily at 7:30pm, the person who took my order appeared displeased. I ordered the Flourish Bowl, which was very tasty(!), but when the staff gave it to me, it was in a to-go bag. I don't know if this is customary of HeartBeet, but I felt rushed to leave the entire time that I was there. The food is good, but I might try out another vegan option the next time that I dine in Seattle.

Jason C.

Yelp
My wife and I have ordered the Buddha Bowl and Joyful bowl 5x in the last week and we love it. Great portions for a great price, especially compared to similar spots in the neighbors. Plus, the staff is warm and friendly! We will continue coming back.

tt p.

Yelp
Wonderful food. So good, so healthy. Big portions. Will definitely frequent Heartbeet.

Natalie R.

Yelp
It took my moving from Roosevelt to Greenwood in order to realize what a gem this place truly is. There is no comparison with other vegan restaurants. I am in awe of the dressings, pure pies and warm grain bowls. The food is good for both the vegan and non vegan Soul. I once saw an employee during his lunch set positive intentions over his food. It made my heart wink with joy! Disclaimer: Before moving to Greenwood I did a 28 Day Raw Vegan Healing Cleanse. HeartBeet was the only restaurant on the protocol (Medical Medium) The cleanse shifted my mind, body and spirit. I felt rejuvenated, youthful, happy and at peace. It brought me closer to who I was as a soul and it was only then that I realized the healing powers of food. This place is a must try. Even if it's a bit out of your way, make it down or up. Greenlake is only about a half mile so it's a great restaurant to try pre or post a lovely Greenlake walk!

Maryam G.

Yelp
Solid place for (pricey) natural foods. Today, I ordered the Nourish smoothie with Epic protein powder added in, a mini Thai salad, and a shot of wheat grass. The smoothie was surprisingly delicious. A really interesting blend of flavors, with an added depth from the dates. The protein powder is a bit chalky, be forewarned. They have another kind that might be worth a try but has half the protein. It's a hearty smoothie that could be filling enough on its own depending on how hungry you are. The wheat grass was delicious and fresh but quite expensive, like most things on the menu. The salad was a bit of a letdown. It tasted fine, but given the price, it didn't have nearly enough of the things that give it an interesting flavor: Basil, cashews, dates. Because there was so little of that stuff, the majority of my bites were just mouthfuls of shredded cabbage and carrots (with dressing--light b/c it didn't come with much). There really should be more basil, at least. Next time I'd probably add avocado. The ambiance is really nice and new feeling. Given the local choices for natural foods, I'd choose this place over the competition.

Alden C.

Yelp
While I was out and about in Seattle a few weeks ago... and when it was hot for that matter outside I wanted something that was light to eat. Heartbeet was very close to where I was and a salad sounded amazing and so I ducked in here for a bite to eat. I ordered the Hungry No More salad which was made up of chopped basil, spinach, mixed greens, Lemon Tahini Dressing, tomatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers and marinated kale. The salad was very good so no complaints there at all and they got my order to me quickly! There was a little bit of a downside to my meal here. There were a number of tables that were not wiped down at all from prior customers. Sometimes places get slammed and they are trying to recollect themselves, I know that. However I tended to overlook less when I wanted water to drink and they had a big water facility in the dining area. It looked nice and cold... just what I wanted! The glasses near the tank though were all diminished to one and the last drinking glass was very dirty. It had a big piece of food stuck to the inside of the glass. Yeek! I tried to ask for another glass but it was difficult to get anyone's attention since they seemed preoccupied with food prep tasks. There was a nearby coffee shop I was meaning to try as well and decided to get my drinks there.

Matteus O.

Yelp
The Buddha Bowl here is insanely good! So many different flavors that combine together just right to make your mouth totally happy but without the guilt of eating something unhealthy! The service was excellent as well. I ordered online and walked into the store ten minutes later and my order was waiting on the counter for me with forks and napkins and everything we needed. We also got the Awaken bowl which wasn't as heavenly but still very delicious. If you want a fast, healthy, tasty meal, this is a great place for you.

William N.

Yelp
Organically amazing! We simply cannot believe that there is so much flavor in such little raw vegan dishes! The staff is super friendly and the service is superb. We tried the key lime, the cappuccino, and the mint marble pies. We also enjoyed a peppermint steamer. We cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
Love this place. Real food. Period. It's been awhile since I was there when it was "thrive". Loved it then and LOVE it now. I wish they were closer! We both ordered the "superbowl" with the extra sunflower sprouts and avocado. It was really yummy. They forgot our sprouts and avocado, oops. Then we realized they forgot our beet spirals ... booo. We didn't want to go and have to ask again for another correction, so we didn't. But the salad was amazing. Barely could finish but I did! And that's the smaller 16oz. one of the two sizes available. Had a kombucha flight. They only had 3 on tap. Blueberry+, rose+, ginger+... The Ginger one was fresh and bubby-fizz like I like it, the rose was good, the blueberry was off for whatever reason. But not a big deal just traded it in for more ginger ;) Now my favorite favorite is their Ninja roll. I could eat this every day as a staple, seriously. Seaweed wrapped around a raw soaked cashew and some other nut or seed, not sure, don't care it's good. Lol. Veggies and their yummy cilantro god sauce. I also dipped in a bit of tamari, was perfection! Fresh food, delicious, the way humans ought to eat ;) Try it and see!!! I'm going to have to come back more often. It's nice to have someplace that makes the stuff i like to eat with a different flair, and I don't even have to clean up, instant gratification! Ooooh. I wish they had (as needed by request) food grade disposable droppers filled w tamari for the ninja rolls!!!??? Hint-hint...... ;) Edited to add, visited again a few days later. I brought my carnivorous bf with me. I was SO excited to get 2 ninja rolls and salads. He ordered and paid for the food and we go find a seat outside. (Sweet) waitress comes out and says, sorry, no rolls today. Wtheck. She goes and refunds the bank card. $17+.... feeling sad. So when our (supposed large 24oz) salad arrives, I assumed he made a mistake and got a 16oz. But it is even Smaller than the 16oz one I got just the other day. VERY DISAPOINTED.... I actually went back in to ask if a mistake was made. No they said. The size of the salad was like a starter salad, was completely different and even smalker than the 16 oz i got only a few days prior. I am irritated that the inconsistency from day to day on portions and missing ingredients. Ok, so now I am feeling really irritated. I felt the staff didnt give a fk i was unhappy one bit. And to top off my experience, this was the second time I've taken my bf to a vegan restaurant (wayward cafe, and that was horrible food we ordered) and now this. He then insisted we go to Whole Foods so he could get a chicken sandwich :/...... which he raved about :(

Yelp
I've been ordering delivery from this restaurant constantly lately and I've loved everything I've ordered! My absolute favorite items are the Miso Madness soup, Awaken bowl, Hungry-No-More salad, Snake Bite, and the Raw Energy Orbs. I always feel good after eating here and it tastes amazing. These people are geniuses.

Yelp
What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! HeartBeet is one of my favorite restaurants in the upper Queen Anne Area. My go-tos are the buddha bowl and glow juice. The regular size buddah bowl is the perfect size for 2 meals and stays well in the fridge. My favorite part is the green sauce and the cashew cream, both of which are super tasty. It has the perfect amount of texture with both soft mushrooms and crunchy kale chips. The glow juice is the perfect healthy pick me up with a variety of detoxifying ingredients. The addition of the jalapeño adds a slight kick that is just the perfect amount to keep it interesting. My only complaint would be that the flavor/color varies by order. I'm not sure if there is a standard measurement for each ingredient but some days it is more purple and you can taste more cabbage. Other days it's more green and you can taste the celery. Not necessarily a bad thing but it would be nice to know what to expect. Finally, the pièce de résistance is the raw cacao truffles they sell! Oh my goodness those truffles are absolutely amazing! The goji berry ones are my absolute fave! Yes, the prices here are a little step but it's not complexity unexpected for a raw juice bar in upper Queen Anne. Do yourself a favor and splurge a little bit for a tasty healthy meal, you won't regret it!

Yelp
If you're looking for nutritious and healthy vegan food, this place is worth a visit. Admittedly, I'm still tiptoeing my way into superhero territory of vegan eating (think words like 'raw' and 'bowls')so this type of place was a first for me. They have a really nice selection, which was nice, and I ended up going with the 'Heartbeet burger', the 'snake bite' shot, the ginger beer, and a dark chocolate goji berry truffle. The ginger beer was cold and fresh, wasn't too sweet, and was very heavy on the ginger, which I like. It was a lot healthier tasting than most ginger beers I've come across. I'd get it again! The burger was..interesting. Instead of your run of the mill bun, Heartbeet gives us a dehydrated onion 'bread'. The bread has a really deep onion flavor soo if onion is your thing, this won't disappoint. The patty is a little loose (it fell apart, immediately) but is earthy and fresh with a nice raw mushroom flavor. It was really hearty and filling, without being heavy. That being said, I don't think I'll get the burger again because, honestly, it just isn't a burger. If this had been a bowl with a little of the onion bread and that veggie patty or a wrap, I'm betting I would've been a more of a fan. It came with a savory and sweet coconut chipy granola-y type deal which was ok but I could've done without it. The snake bite..yes! It's a cold-pressed lemon juice shot with cayenne and sweet sliced apples on the side; loved it! I might come here for just a few of those! Their goji berry truffles are really nice with a lovely balance of deep, dark chocolatey sweetness and that little bit of tart goji berry! It's nice to be able to run across a little dessert that doesn't make you feel like you just damaged yourself immediately after you finished it. The set-up of their restaurant is clean, welcoming, and much like their food, super-bright and fresh! The burger was a bit of a miss for me, as a whole, but the ingredients were really nice and make me think that that selection just wasn't for me. I'd love to come back and try another main dish; I saw a lot of really tasting looking choices on their menu. I enjoyed the comfortable, fresh, and modern ambience and the friendly employees. All together, Heartbeet is a really great option for anyone trying to do better for their body in a tasty and compassionate way! I'm excited to make another visit!

Yelp
Friday afternoon, not busy or crowded was assisted to the "order line" when entering. I ordered the chia bowl along with the coconut curry and didn't forget to order a dessert: tiramisu magic. Coconut curry tasted somewhat similar to the ones you get at a Thai restaurant. Very sweet, maybe too sweet and the texture was a little more grimy than I thought it would be in a soup. Chia bowl, ehhhh nothing special. Even though I ordered the "mini size" it was hard to finish. The more I ate it, the more I wasn't a fond of. Personally, I would have liked to see more fruits than the nuts. The tiramisu magic on the other hand was excellent. First, before tasting, I was alittle hesitant because of the smell, but ended up loving it! I loved that it had just enough sweetness while still guilt free! I would come back just for this pie alone! Overall, not bad experience, glad I got to try out an all vegan place for the first time. Will be returning to try out more pies!

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my first time at the HeartBeet Cafe. My Buddha Bowl had wonderful flavors and a satisfying mix of textures! I especially loved the kale chips and marinated mushrooms. The portion was perfect and each component balanced all other well. If you desire, try the truffle or any other dessert! It was delightful and packed with a rich, velvety chocolate flavor. I will definitely be coming back to try some of their other offerings, particularly the breakfast bowls.

Yelp
Ventured down to this aesthetic cafe in Seattle with a family friend. We both ordered the Thai Bowl and it was absol delicious. Everything about the bowl was good. From the avocado, to the quinoa, to the cilantro and cucumbers, my taste buds were more than satisfied. My tastebuds were dancing due to all the wonderful flavors in the bowl. Who knew healthy food could taste so good! I will definitely be back here, now that I have become gluten free and it along with eating vegan has become the latest craze.

Yelp
Thank you for being attentive with your customer's feedback. I came back to your store, and received much better service.

Yelp
Dark chocolate salted caramel (from Pure Pies which is nearby)- one of the best vegan pies we've ever had. So creamy, kinda rich, but tasty! Chocolate coconut macaroons- pretty good if you like chocolate and coconut strips. Awaken bowl- this was a tasty rice and quinoa bowl. Worth it to to pay the extra $2 for the regular size. Buddha bowl- also delicious. Friend always gets this. Berry basil limemade- flavorful, but I think someone went ginger happy. I kept feeling the spiciness from the ginger in my throat. We didn't order any smoothies or juices as they seemed too pricey. Would come back again for a healthy tasty meal.

Yelp
I saw heartbeet on Groupon and figured I give it a shot. I'm a fairly small person so the mini bowl was perfect for me. Everything tastes fresh and is surprisingly filling. Love the atmosphere of the cafe and the staff is super sweet. I got the joyful as a recommendation from and employee and loved it. I love a good noodle/salad combo. If you're in the mood, the pie isn't too bad either! We got the birthday cake pie and it came with a side of some kind of strawberry jam/sauce (not really sure, but it tasted good).
