Chef Gordon Ramsay Opens Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant at Harrah’s SoCal | Eater San Diego

"Opening August 12 at Harrah’s Resort SoCal, the new Hell’s Kitchen is the largest location yet—332 seats plus a bar, lounge, two private dining rooms, and two chef’s tables—and will feature much of the show's theatrical stagecraft, from an iconic bronze HK sign and a recurring pitchfork motif to a life-size video screen of Gordon Ramsay greeting guests, a “wall of fame” with photos of past winners, and a boutique selling branded merchandise. The grand showcase kitchen is split into a red side and a blue side with cooks wearing red- and blue-trimmed chef’s jackets, and a restaurant representative says Gordon Ramsay is confirmed to visit in November. The menu highlights signature Ramsay recipes familiar from the show, including the butter-poached lobster tail with truffle risotto, pan-seared scallops, beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding with dulce de leche ice cream; cocktails range from classics like Manhattans and Pimm’s Cups to signatures such as the Pitchfork (bourbon, pamplemousse, tawny port, lemon, and egg white) and Notes from Gordon (gin, green tea, lemongrass, peach, and lemon) garnished with a flag inscribed with a snarky Ramsay quote. Hours are Sunday–Thursday 4 p.m.–10 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 4 p.m.–11 p.m." - Candice Woo

Chef Gordon Ramsay Opening Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant at Harrah’s Resort | Eater San Diego

"I’ll be able to experience Gordon Ramsay’s long-running reality series through his signature Hell’s Kitchen restaurant coming to Harrah’s Resort Southern California by Spring 2022; it will be the fourth Hell’s Kitchen worldwide—joining outposts at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Caesars Bluewaters Dubai, and Harveys Lake Tahoe—and will be his largest Hell’s Kitchen to date. The casino’s buffet area will be remodeled this summer to make way for a set-like dining space designed to make diners feel like they’re on the show, seating 332 guests across a bar, lounge, and full-service dining room with a show kitchen. Ramsay’s chefs will prepare many of his most famous dishes, including Beef Wellington, lobster risotto, and sticky toffee pudding, and there will also be new dishes exclusive to this SoCal location." - Candice Woo

Three friends celebrating a birthday - so much fun! Evan & Anthony made the experience unforgettable! Talk about 5 star service. Food was great - but the service and their engagement with us, spot on recommendations, patience with questions, stories and background they shared - next level. I'd go back for that kind of service. Thanks guys for making our night!

First time in this location. The was acceptable. The atmosphere with the open kitchen to admire the cooking is excellent. I recommend the meat balls app. The delicious beef Wellington is the one that makes the big difference in their entrees. We liked the Brussels sprouts as a side. For your birthday they will give you a personal cake. In our opinion has cigar smoke smell.

Date of visit was September 6, ‘25. Absolutely fantastic from the moment you walk up to the outside of the restaurant. Walk in the door and you feel you will have a good experience. Immediately asked if we were celebrating anything before we were even seated at our table. Once we were at our table, the service was top-notch, pleasant and enjoyable. Our waiter treated us like we were his friends even though we had just met. Service was prompt. Glasses were refilled with beverages without need of asking. Very knowledgeable about the food. The atmosphere top-notch, wonderful seating, great ambience. Even down to the flatware and dishes. They were the same ones. I’ve seen them used on a show. Very nice. Chairs very comfortable to sit in. The food absolutely did not disappoint. We had the lobster risotto, which had me asking why I hadn’t had anything like that before in my life. The scallops wonderful. My fillet absolutely scrumptious, cooked to perfection. Asparagus, crab for my steak topper wonderful. Dessert the Chocolate Mousse wonderful with the chocolate gelato, so rich and fulfilling. The signature dessert from Gordon Ramsay of sticky toffee pudding was divine. Also very rich and decadent. Coming away from the experience the meal was wonderful. I loved being there and would not hesitate to go back in the future. Yummmmmy!!!!!!

Exactly as we expected. Every bite was full of flavor. My favorite was the lobster risotto. Don’t skip the dessert . Sticky toffee pudding is must try. Expect $150 per person.

“I wouldn’t come here unless someone paid for me”. This is Hell’s Kitchen. Overpriced food just because Gordon made the recipe. Out of 11 things ordered only 1 item stood out - the wagyu meatballs which is an appetizer not an entree. My husband came home and THREW UP the food… They have a limited dessert menu, but the dessert prices were normal prices. The food was cold when it was brought out . The dish itself was hot but the food was not. I think they transfer the food to a hot dish. Our waiter George was great and provided recommendations and did not judge or comment on anything out of line. The assistant waiters looked like they rolled out of bed. They took a while to bring things out and refill waters. The assistant waiter brought out a dessert which toppled over and was smeared around the plate. I asked what is this and they just walked away. From watching Hell’s Kitchen the restaurant wants to depict the kitchen as open but the only open part was when they assembled the plates not the actual cooking. You can only see the chefs upper bodies so not really the kitchen and preparation they want to advertise. The place was clean and the aesthetics were cool. The wine staff gave a couple a tour of their wine room but did not offer it to us. Which I thought was a loss in sales. I would’ve gotten wine if I had a tour and the same experience as the other couple. I asked the bartender for an extra pick and he reprimanded me not to touch them even though I was not reaching for them. We also mentioned a birthday and they didn’t offer anything or acknowledge.

We had an unforgettable visit to Hell's Kitchen. The service was incredibly attentive, and the food was exquisite and unique. We ordered the HK Signature Prix Fixe. It was my first time trying scallops, and while I'm not generally a fan of seafood, my husband enjoyed them. The Beef Wellington was absolutely amazing in both texture and flavor—another first for me! We also ordered the vegetable risotto, which was bursting with flavor, and the Prime New York Steak, which was cooked to perfection. The garlic butter added an incredible touch. For dessert, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was a true masterpiece; my husband was in dessert heaven! Beyond the food, the interior was even more impressive in person than in the photos. I highly recommend this place!

One and done! Wellington was good, but pastry wasn't very flaky or crispy. Salmon was on point. Brussel spouts as well. Crust of Mac n' cheese was better than most. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing, but it is so rich , it leaves you wanting a jug of black coffee to wash it down. The smoke on the boulevard drink was cool, but a smoke and mirrors trick. I barely noticed any smokiness on the glass. Overall a great experience for our anniversary, but it's one and done. 4 instead of 5 because of the soggy wellington pastry, the smoky casino, and feeling rushed by the waiter.
