The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, creating a lovely ambiance for dining. Our waitress was very patient and attentive, which we truly appreciated. However, I was a bit disappointed with the wait time and the food. Note: The brussels sprouts appetizer were delicious, steak was a little tough. My meal arrived first, and the rest of the table didn’t receive theirs until 15 minutes later, which meant my food was cold by the time everyone else was served because of course I waited. Our waitress did let us know that the kitchen was running behind, but it would have been nice for a manager to check in, especially since the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at the time. Parking in this area is always a challenge, so I expected that. While dinner wasn’t quite what I hoped for, I might consider coming back for brunch to give it another try.

Hurry up and visit before the secret gets out! This restaurant combines the elegance of an upscale restaurant with the comfort of southern cuisine. Our bartender, August, kept our drinks flowing and the conversation going! Our server, Jordan, was attentive and informative about the menu and suggested the perfect pairings. The GM, Lisa, took great care of our large party and ensured that every guest felt welcomed and heard. Finally, Chef Vi, thank you for seasoning the food the way that I would at home. It was perfection! This will be a regular spot!

I had an exceptional dining experience at Hen Quarter Prime! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, perfect for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings. The highlight of my visit was the outstanding service provided by my waitress, Jordan. She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations that enhanced my dining experience. Her friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for ensuring a top-tier experience did not go unnoticed. As for the food—simply outstanding! Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with rich, bold flavors. From appetizers to dessert, each bite was a perfect balance of freshness and creativity. Hen Quarter Prime DC truly delivers on all fronts—exceptional service, an inviting atmosphere, and phenomenal cuisine. I will definitely be returning soon, and I highly recommend asking for Jordan when you visit. She made my experience unforgettable!

Came for the brunch. Very good all around from the service to the food and drinks. Great atmosphere. Manager was attentive and I even saw her ensuring the buffet area stayed clean. At times cleaning up herself. I don't leave many reviews but one was needed here.

New addition to the area, eager to entertain and provide good times w food, drinks, and ambiance. The vibe is legit and ppl come here to chow and vibe. Looking forward to warmer weather to then enjoy their outdoor space that looks sure to be a blast 💥 center season hits!

My friend and I visited Saturday, July 27th, for what I believe was the first brunch service. The ambiance and decor are amazing! I knew I would be returning based on how we were greeted by Crystal, the host! She is polite and full of good energy! Corey was our server, and he did an amazing job taking care of us. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I would recommend a few adjustments to the amount of salt used in some of the dishes like the fried chicken. Additionally, some of the food items were either not as warm as they needed to be or overcooked like the paella and macaroni. I would like the seafood cracker tool available upon request. The seafood bar is such an amazing delight. It's so beautiful that you almost don't want to touch it. Some of us might need a little extra assistance enjoying that feast. The collard greens were delicious, the seafood was fresh, and tasted great. The desserts were literally mouth-watering! The service adjustments will only improve the quality of the service long-term. Nonetheless, I will be returning for an even better experience😃 I can't wait to enjoy spirits at the bar.

This place was well worth the hour drive! From the hostess greeting us warmly with a smile and seating us quickly to our amazing server Corey who made sure we had all of our needs met, this place absolutely values customer service and it shows! Every staff that we encountered was so friendly and helpful! I was able to catch the buffet special for $50 per person and it was such a great deal. The food was so delicious from the Buttermilk biscuits with honey butter brought to the table to the French toast to the snow crab legs to the huge shrimp to the top tier carrot cake on the dessert table! I was stuffed and satisfied!!! The only item that I would have changed was the deviled egg which had a little bit too much mayo for me but it was still flavorful. Definitely worth the drive and I'll definitely be back very soon!

First time there yesterday for brunch and the resturant sits by the beautiful water . Walking inside to see the amazing decor was mouth dropping . Greeted by a very lovely host , she took care of me yesterday . My waiter Corey took very well care of me , my omelet came out perfect and he suggest the gumbo soup which was a 10/10 Thanks Corey for that you a great young man ! 😊 Food station were clean , my waffle delicious, the whole team of employees were making sure everyone in the place had what they needed . I really respected that as well . I talked to Miss. Lisa , and Mr. Robert so I would love to host a bigger number of folks where Robert ( managers) showed many spaces of rooms. Overall I had a great experience and will be back . This place is a 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
