Some of the food was very good. Someone was just OK. 3.5 The salad with the deviled eggs and bread was excellent and the veggie burger was excellent. Pot roast looked dry. Carolina Gold, spinach and leeks, which was so named because it was Rice but not clear on the menu. my cocktail is excellent, although I would have preferred it on rocks and did not order it straight up. Corn bread is really corn cakes A boulevardier is usually served on rocks. Servers excellent

Delicious food and drinks in a warm and open atmosphere. We went for dinner in early spring and the menu reflected some of the new fresh ingredients and flavors of spring. Service is a bit slower paced to give you time and when it's busy it can take a little while to come back, but the food and drinks came out pretty quickly after being ordered and prepared. Everything tasted excellent and fresh and our biggest complaint is that the dishes were on the smaller portion side. Of course that left us with room for dessert which was also excellent. Prices are common for the area though maybe a bit high considering the smaller dish size. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and evening and would visit again. An excellent place for a date night or dinner with friends.

Solid food. Amazing pies. Always get the pie of the day for dessert, which is a personal size. Dining room is huge and has a southern cafeteria feel to it. Some of the sides you can tell are mass cooked and taste old from sitting around. Entrees are always fresh though. Crab and corn chowder Light and sweet. Almost zero crab though. Still decent though 3.5/5 Pork chop Large portion cook week. Nice smokiness to go with the sweet berry sauce 4/5 Pie of the day Homemade and delicious personal pie. As good as a pie can get 5/5

Stopped in for a solo lunch and it was excellent. Hearty farm to table food, filling and reasonably priced. The bartender Derek was kind and chatty, with fun facts to share about the history of the restaurant. Highly recommend !

Google
The service and atmosphere were both lovely. The food, however, was just fair. We asked for crispy corned beef hash and got what might have been the mushiest hash possible. Maybe crispy hash is something they cannot or will not do, but it would have been helpful if they had told us that when we ordered. We might have chosen something else. The pancake was average. And of course, you are paying hotel restaurant prices — about $60 for breakfast for two. As locals, we would not return, but if you are staying at the hotel, it might be worth it for the convenience alone.

10/10 the space is beautiful, friendly and helpful staff as well as good food!!! Thoroughly enjoyed and devoured my breakfast! Will definitely recommend ☺️

Google
This beautiful hotel restaurant was an excellent choice for breakfast. I was truly amazed by the interior as soon as the elevator doors opened; it felt like stepping into an upscale library. The ambience of the restaurant was great. I ordered coffee, freshly squeezed carrot juice, and an avocado spread. My friend shared hash browns with me. We stayed there for over two hours, enjoying breakfast and conversation. It's an excellent choice for an out-of-town guest looking for a breakfast spot.

Google
I don’t know if we came at a bad time but the service and the food were pretty underwhelming for the price. We were seated promptly and things were pretty straightforward initially. We told our server we needed a couple of minutes to decide on what to order, but she didn’t get back to us for 15 minutes. Another server took our drink orders, served them, and never attended us again. So we were very confused as to who to flag down. Eventually we had to call a different server. We got the corn chowder, the pork chop and the duck breast, and it also took quite a while for the food to arrive. We assumed that maybe our entrees took the longest to prepare, but by the time they were out the other diners who came around the same time as us had already left. Corn chowder was pretty bland, and the pork chop was a little too dry. The duck, however, was cooked perfectly. For what we paid for, we don’t plan on coming back. The ambience was pretty solid and we enjoyed the farm to table concept but the service really let us down tonight.

Yelp
After unwinding from the day, we had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant inside our hotel, and it exceeded expectations. The ambiance was serene and inviting, the food was exceptionally fresh and flavorful, and our waiter provided outstanding service. If you're in the area, especially if you're staying at The Charles Hotel, this restaurant is a must-visit

Yelp
Came here with a friend for a quick dinner at the bar before a show at the ART. Beautiful space with what looks like outdoor seating in nicer weather? Super friendly bartender and efficient service. We both enjoyed our dishes and I would definitely like to come back when I have time for a relaxed dinner.

Yelp
I can say I truly had mixed experiences here at this restaurant. I've had some very good dishes here, such as the house-smoked salmon, duck breast, and pies. And then I find a piece of tile inside my bread. I've had some really nice servers make my visits here enjoyable, while I've had less-than-stellar service experiences of overcharging and ridiculous cake-cutting charges (really, $5 per person???). The restaurant is tucked in the rear of the Charles Hotel, so it's can hard to spot. The decor reminds me of a visit to a friend's colonial-style home in some nice part of New England for lunch. The decor here is rather bright (without being blinding) and inviting. I came here for a rather sizable party and we were overcharged by a significant amount. It took more haggling that I'd like to rectify the situation, and that did not impress me. Not only that, we were told that cake-cutting fee was $5 per person, so just having a cake for 10 people would cost significantly more than the cake itself! Their Restaurant Week menu (n/k/a Dine Out Boston) is one of the more diverse and larger menus, so there's that.

Yelp
If you want a quality, farm-to-table dining experience, friendly and professional servers, great food and drinks, you can't go wrong with Henrietta's Table. I decided to get the scrod and it was delicious. The raspberry mocktail I had was delicious as well. My friends and I shared dessert too: apple pie and cheesecake and both were wonderful. It's nice to go to a place where you can get reliably good food and great service. A lot of places have gone downhill but Henrietta's Table still does such a nice job.

Yelp
Such a great find! We went as a group for a friend's birthday brunch. Parking Off street and there's a parking garage Food Everything was delicious, recommend most if not all menu items

Yelp
Great to come back here and see that while menus and staff change the quality of food, service, ambience and dining experience stay the same. HT's food remains wholesome, flavorful and fairly priced. It is not easy to maintain high quality year after year in the restaurant world. Kudos to Henrietta's Table for doing so. Scrod was tender and cooked perfectly on a bed of crispy potatoes. And the seasonal salad with watermelon so refreshing. Enjoy!

Yelp
3.5 star is pretty accurate. Love the fact that this is one of the few restaurants that open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Harvard square. It's more geared towards faculty, staff, and visitors given the price point. It's located on the second floor of the hotel. They have outdoor seating as of September 2023, not sure if outdoor seating continues throughout the colder months. Came here for dinner and the food was great. The service was okay, but it's Boston, so what do you expect. They take reservations via OpenTable, which is a plus. Probably won't be back anytime in the near future, but will keep this place in mind. Ambiance is good for a date night or a large group of friends/colleagues. If you plan to use a tax exempt corporate card, make sure you have a printed copy of the tax exempt certificate with you. Also bring your photo ID for verification.

Yelp
Came here for the Valentine's Day menu. The fare here is very much American Thanksgiving core - meat, lots of fat (butter or gravy or oil), cranberries, lots of sugar, etc. Starting bread was interesting. There were three different kinds of untoasted slices: a sourdough, a sweeter squash or carrot bread (the yellow one, I'm guessing that it has a veggie mixed in to make it sweeter and yellow), and a cranberry walnut bread. Bread was good but I would have appreciated it toasted. The caesar salad here is amazing; on par with the one from Ma Maison. I would come back just for the salad. It's creamy, has a nice tang from the pickled onions, and good crunch from the croutons. I do wish there was more lettuce to dressing ratio because the dressing pooled up at the bottom. I wasn't a huge fan of the corn and crab chowder just because it was sweeter and I prefer a more savory chowder but I do appreciate that the flavor of corn was drawn through. I don't think I saw any pieces of crab though... The pork chops were just okay, if not disappointing. While juicy, they did not have much flavor, possibly because of how thick the meat was. I was hoping the cranberry sauce would complement it but it ended up being too sweet and overpowering. The veggies were soggy and not seasoned and the potato/apple latke did not add much to the plate. I had high hopes for the pork chops after reading all the reviews but I just have to say - try the spareribs from Monkfish in Central Square. The lobster stuffed with scallops and shrimp was in a pool of butter. It was incredibly rich, fatty, and difficult to pick out the pieces of lobster without getting your hands oily. I know that lobster and butter is a classic combo and this might be appealing to others but this dish wasn't my cup of tea at all. We got the Valentine's Day dessert for two. It was very chocolate-y with two tiny chocolate covered strawberries. The sauce drizzle on the plate had gone hard and I was hoping for more acidity to cut through the sugar, as well as more use of dark chocolate vs just white and milk chocolate. Chocolate soufflé was dry and not as light/airy as I was hoping for. I wonder if this dessert had been sitting out on the counter for a while. We arrived 45 minutes before closing (which might be an explanation for the dessert) but did not feel rushed. Our server was kind and our food came out very quickly. The restaurant has a homey atmosphere to complement the Thanksgiving-esque food. While I wouldn't choose to come here again (unless it's for the incredible salad), I would recommend this place if this type of food sounds like something you would enjoy.

Yelp
(Dine Out Boston, August 2022) It would probably come as no surprise that I love dining out. But why? To try things I couldn't make at home. If I can make something, it is about a new interpretation/execution. I also enjoy good service and hospitality. Case in point: breakfast: I am lukewarm about IHOP but adore The Farmer's Daughter (Easton, MA). At Henrietta's Table, the execution, interpretation, and service were on point! I absolutely want to make a return visit. That's five stars in my book - exceeded expectations and a desire to return. I had the opportunity to try the following: - Maine Rock Crab and Corn Chowder - Pig Under a Brick - Pie of the Day - HT Greyhound The Maine Rock Crab and Corn Chowder was excellent. It was hearty, savory, flavorful, and well-balanced. They did not skimp on the ingredients (esp. seafood) but did not go overboard. It also did not go too heavy on the salt or the sugar (as corn chowders sometimes tend to do). Pig Under a Brick was a surprising delight. While this resembles pulled pork, while tender, I typically look for sauce. Here, they used watermelon on top, and it was served on a bed of veggies. If enjoyed together, the veggies and watermelon combine stupendously, and the sauce seems like something best left at the BBQ. This is a terrific interpretation of pulled pork, coming from someone who is not a fan of watermelon! The Pie of the Day is not to be missed if you are even remotely a pie lover. The crust was spectacular, crisp, and flaky. Puts those supermarket pies to shame! The filling was terrific as well and was warm (IIRC). Really gave it fresh feelings. Ice cream was a nice touch, too, as a means of balancing out the warmth of the pie. Added some creamy notes as well! HT Greyhound was a well put together drink! It had good strength/booziness, a little sweet, a little tart, a little savory, and very refreshing! Gin isn't my spirit of choice, but this drink makes it work. Then there's the service! It was attentive, fast, and all-around very professional. Service doesn't usually make or break a place, but it is nice to be well taken care of when going out. Also, I miss the brunch buffet, and I wish Henrietta's Table would bring it back!

Yelp
The dining room was pretty empty, but it was a Monday night. We were disappointed that they had run out of sangria but the Raspberry Mojito didn't disappoint. We got the meat and cheese platter to start which is not your normal charcuterie board (a little heavy on the puréed meats and light on the cheese). I got the pork chop with Swiss chard, crispy onion, cheese grits and a blackberry sauce. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. For dessert, we got the key lime pie special. The vanilla ice cream and key lime filling were to die for, the actual pastry crust was a little on the thick side and required elbow grease to cut through with a spoon. Overall, lovely evening and am never dissapointed by Henrietta's. The vibe is more hotel restaurant than intimate dining but great for groups.

Yelp
I rarely leave reviews but I could not let this slide. I got the HT sandwich and it came with burnt bread and it was completely bland and barely edible. Others thought their food was okay hence the 3 stars. Service was fine but the food took a long time coming out.

Yelp
We had the opportunity to eat in the private dining room at Henrietta's Table twice this past Friday and Sunday for dinner and lunch respectively. Service was great, responsive and personable. There's a parking garage located by the restaurant. Henrietta's will validate parking and it's good for up to 3 hours. We paid $10 when we were within the time limit and over $30 when we were just over 3 hours. Alcoholic drinks were made well and the bar easily made whatever our family ordered. Highlights for us were the chowder and steak. The steak we had for dinner was exceptional.. buttery, perfectly cooked, and had a nice crust to it. The lunch steak came out medium instead of the medium rare I requested and didn't have the same flavor/crust. It was also a different cut of meat though. Lunch steak was still tender. I also enjoyed the oysters and pate personally. The chilled potato leek soup was underwhelming but maybe that's just what chilled potato leek soup tastes like. The lemon sorbet was extremely sour and quickly rejected by our toddler. Our children preferred the mixed berry sorbet. I loved my cheesecake. We also had a berry pie with vanilla ice cream that was delicious. My daughter has multiple, severe food allergies. She was able to order the duck easily even though the Friday dinner was a set menu for a private dinner party. On Sunday, she had the chicken breast. She enjoyed her food immensely and loved that she could order and eat safely.

Yelp
Food was horrible for the price. Starters were small and flavours were confusing. Salad nearly made me gag. Pancakes were average, but three of them for $20 is poor. We spent upwards of an hour waiting for our meals. I would recommend spending your hard-earned money somewhere else.

Ralph K.

Yelp
This is only about the Thanksgiving buffet: The food was amazing, but there were food service violations all over. Tongs and standard short forks' handles were IN and ON the food at every station. They need to take lessons from Golden Corral (cheapo buffet chain). Spoons, tongs, and forks should be extra long, and handles need to remain completely outside the food container. Also no glass sneeze guards on some of the stations. Norovirus is going around. I had to cringe and hope for the best, and was okay, but one sick guest would have ruined everyone's weekend.

Yelp
Went to Henrietta's table for brunch. It was incredible and enjoyed my experience. This was on Easter and felt that the service handled the surplus of people well. We had the Easter menu and loved it all. We ordered - malted waffle - pancakes - hash - bacon Loved the hash and will need to eat it again.

Yelp
I attended a family gathering of about 20 folks for Sunday brunch. It had been years since I'd been here. What was I waiting for? We got there about 12:45 and the place was hopping! (Their all-you-can-eat brunch is 12:30-3 Sunday). Parties of all sizes, casual dress to Sunday best. There is something for everyone...a fruit and cheese table, lox and bagels, breakfast stuff (Eggs Benedict, waffles, omelette station, bacon, sausage, etc.) lunch stuff (chicken parm, vegetables, prime rib, pork dishes) and of course a dessert table. You can go up as many times as you want and the waitstaff are brilliant, walking around scooping up plates so you come back to a fresh setting. They were very pleasant and attentive. Everything is replenished quickly and I wasn't disappointed in a thing. The prime rib especially was mouth-watering and looked so good I added it to my plate with waffles (who does that?) I started off with a mimosa but all kinds of beverages were available. It's not cheap ($80) so it won't be a weekly thing but my goddaughter is coming in for Thanksgiving week so I HAVE to take her, right? ;-) Next time I'll take pictures.

Yelp
One of my favorite places Cambridge for food! Brunch, lunch, dinner - they have great dishes for all. Service is usually pretty quick and it has a casual ambience. Food is always very fresh and high quality. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was quite surprised with how good was here at this point dining restaurant in Boston. The staff were extremely accommodating in seating our large group, and we were appropriately waited on in a reasonable time. We started out with some sides of their roasted cauliflower and asparagus. The roasted cauliflower is incredible - beautifully charred and infused with great flavors. The asparagus was roasted and infused with a lemon butter and shepherd's cheese from Vermont. The bread that they serve is awesome album. They provide three different types of bread, sourdough, one with Craisins, and the wheat bread. All of them are freshly baked and sliced. Served with butter, it's the perfect starter to a meal. For the main courses, I got to try their grain bowl with tofu, their veggie burger, and their Yankee pot roast. The grain bowl was filled with warm grains, roasted veggies, toasted pistachios, arugula, and all topped with crispy tofu and a warm vinaigrette. The veggie burger was incredible, with the buns being grilled with butter. They put a generous amount of avocado and a spicy mayo on top. The pot roast was my favorite. The beef was incredibly tender and covered with a sweet and savory gravy. It was all laid on top of beautifully mashed and buttery potatoes. They also provide some soft, grilled carrots on top for color and flavor. Do note that this restaurant includes a 20% gratuity charge already in the bill, and they do bring out your final bill with another spot for additional tip. I would suggest that they inform the diners that tip has already been included so that people aren't unknowingly double tipping.

Yelp
I was pretty underwhelmed with the food quality for such a highly reviewed place. The steak and eggs were subpar, and the salmon bowl lacked flavor. But, the ambiance was excellent, we had a table right next to the window with some sunshine and great large open layout in the dining area. And the banana pudding dessert was amazing! Delicious beyond words with caramel and English toffee!

Regina L.

Yelp
This was such a cozy place to have dinner! I loved their decor and our waiter was very welcoming towards us the whole night. I got the chicken and my partner got the pot roast. My chicken was delicious and incredibly juicy. The pot roast was unfortunately a bit on the drier side, but tasted good nonetheless. The total came out to around $30 a person. But if you're ever looking for a nicer place in Harvard Square, this place is perfect

Payal M.

Yelp
This is the in-house restaurant at the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square. Seating is ample and they have a sunroof which gives the place a very happy and open vibe on a bright summer day. There is parking available in the Charles hotel garage and the place is a 5 minute walk away from the T. Service is good and they offer an assortment of breads at the beginning while you decide your orders. The food is just about average. We ordered a quiche, a salmon burger, and coffee. The greens that accompanies our dishes were surprisingly bitter despite the dressing. That said, everything is farm to table here so the place gets brownie points for health and supporting the local economy. It's a convenient spot for hotel guests. For the rest, Harvard Square offers much more.

Yelp
"Homey"| Service | Value "HOMEY" - the Henrietta's has a homey feel. It has am interesting blend of "magnolia" and "southern charm." They have a classic northeastern bed and breakfast decor. Service - they have amazing service. It's a throwback in a wag because each person on staff views every table as their own and they do a great job of checking in on you, refilling drinks, and providing great recommendations. Their staff really upgrade the experience make you raise your expectation for a restaurant. Value - given where you are in harvard square and inside the Charles hotel their price are extremely reasonable. I had the waffle and hash browns with a unlimited coffee and with a generous tip was under $30 dollars. Both the waffle and hash browns were substantial in size and I left very full. Pro tip: they only do reservations for brunch and dinner. Breakfast is first come first serve, so plan accordingly. Pro tip: there isn't a lot of parking in general in Harvard square. But there is parking underneath the Charles hotel, so you can pay to park there. They will validate a portion of your parking if you have a meal at the restaurant.

Yelp
A great place for brunch! Tables are nice, hostess is nice, waiters are nice. Good is good. Standard American fare.

Yelp
We've had many wonderful meals here over the years. It's a pleasant room, the staff is always friendly and professional , and the food has been consistently delicious. Somehow they were off their mark last night with a really poor pot roast and meh fish. We sent the pot roast back. That seemed like enough complaining from one table so we stayed quiet about the lukewarm fish. Also substituting a side vegetable should not result in a $9 additional (!) charge. The waitstaff deserves better food coming out of the kitchen. We'll chalk it up to a Sunday before a holiday....but still it wasn't what we'd hoped.

Yelp
Well, I was half-right in my last review - I would be back for Dine Out week - but definitely much faster than I expected! Less than a week later, I found myself back at Henrietta's to take advantage of their $25 lunch special. The meal had a choice of either a starter and a main, or a main and a dessert - so my friend and I ordered one of each, sharing our starter/dessert. We started with the local mixed greens - vegetables were extremely fresh, and the sliced radishes and tomatoes were a nice touch. I found the vinaigrette dressing to be a little too much though, and really covered up a lot of the natural flavour of the leafy greens. For my main, I ordered the salmon burger - the patty was rich and flavourful, and the buns were nicely toasted and paired very nicely with the salmon. The accompanying 'spicy' tartar sauce was not spicy but still tasty regardless, and complemented the fish flavour very well. The side salad was more of the local mixed greens from earlier, also with the very heavy vinaigrette flavour. My friend ordered the warm grain bowl with chicken - a wonderful combination of flavours, vegetables were fresh as usual, and the chicken was cooked nicely and was a nice 'topper' for the overall bowl. For dessert, we ordered the pie of the day, which was a nectarine pie. The fruit, as always, was incredibly fresh - and the nice tartness of the nectarine paired wonderfully with the sweet, warm crust for an amazing end to the meal. Again, a rather satisfying meal (and I was happy with the Dine Out week prices) - but I still maintain, as with my last visit, that at their normal price point, there are enough local comparable restaurants to make me think twice about coming back.

Yelp
Probably one of few choices for good restaurants in Cambridge. It has been in town for ages.

Yelp
Hard to believe that I haven't mentioned this place despite having eaten here a number of times. I thoroughly enjoyed their proteins, in particular the way they make duck, and also their chicken is clearly really fresh. The farm-to-table concept really comes through. I'm also usually impressed with the appetizers as well. I have a memory though of some wilted vegetables that were so tough as to be rendered inedible. I asked for them to be cooked again or longer, but on second time around they weren't much better. I also remember that the salmon was a bit stiff. The bread selection was special!

Yelp
I had breakfast with a friend at Henrietta's Table on a Friday morning in the summer, and I was surprised by how busy it is. There were definitely still tables available inside and outside, but it would be safer to make a reservation. Henrietta's Table has a pretty extensive menu of breakfast/brunch items, and I ordered the three-egg omelet. I was mostly drawn to the crispy hash browns, which were DELICIOUS. So few breakfast spots make hash browns - real hash browns, not breakfast potatoes - anymore, and I appreciate these hash browns. They are exactly how they should be made - super crispy hash browns with a soft interior. I did also enjoy the omelet which was huge and filled with all sorts of veggies and ham. The service was prompt and friendly. I hope to get back to Henrietta's Table sometime soon!

Yelp
The good thing about this place is that they have parking in the hotel garage. The food was ok. The sirloin steak was chewy and hard to cut. The salmon was good but I didn't like the raw fennel that come with it. I should have listened to the server and opted for the chicken and scallops. Next time, maybe.

Yelp
Update for my previous review. My wife and I enjoyed the food, service and vibe of HT so much the first time we went, that we decided to go back for our 10th Anniversary dinner! I made a reservation on OpenTable for 2-pushed the buttons on OT for anniversary and put a note in asking for Lucas to be our server again if he was working. We got stuck in a little traffic on the way there but when we arrived, we were seated right away in a cozy corner booth in Lucas' section. He brought out some champagne/prosecco and nuts for us to start our celebration! A word about Lucas' knowledge of the menu... He knows it INSIDE and out! Just as he had during our first meal at HT, he made some recommendations for apps, mains and desserts. There was a scallop special which he had tried some of and said was good... BUT, he wisely told me that he hadn't see the full plating when the servers did taste testing pre service. He wanted to wait and take a look at how the plating/sides looked before he officially recommended it to me! In any case, since it's fall and apples are in season, I went with the pork chop for my main and a Caesar salad as an appetizer. The Caesar is on point with the deviled egg spread!! For dessert the pastry chef sent a celebratory Pumpkin Cheesecake and I had the apple oat cake which is off the chain! 5* for service, vibe and especially the food!!! Thanks for making our night special Lucas!!

Yelp
We ate at the bar last night and both ordered the Maine Crab chowder. Shortly thereafter I felt sick to my stomach but got through it. My wife suffered a much worse fate and vomited at night and still feels sickly today.

Yelp
Very nice place. We had a reservation for breakfast and arrived early but were seated very quickly. Our server was very friendly and energetic. He made us all happy with his energy! We had eggs and waffles and they all were very delicious. Definitely give it a try if you are around Cambridge area.

Yelp
It was the most processed meal I ever had. The sausage links were old or over cooked. Maybe both. The "hash browns" were a big pile of mush with bits of burn areas mixed in. Eggs were undercooked. I don't know how these liberal cities make food so go. This meal was free for me. I literally attempted to vomit. When I got back to my room. I should have taken 3 bites and just went to Ihop. IHOP is super close. Don't eat this crap. The reason for the 2 stars. Service was fine. Nothing wrong with the service.

Yelp
Good food! I had the buratta and the salmon. Both were good, but I think I would've been happier with just the veggie burger. The bar/lunch menu looks also really good. Todays visit was a 3/5, but I bet if I were to go back and get something different, it'd get a higher ranking. Also servers were polite and kept us stocked on bread ahha. Nice rustic vibe in there.

Wow, this restaurant has really declined in every way except the prices. Overcooked and badly seasoned. There are so many much better options for the price.

Yelp
A truly average meal. This place used to be so good. The soup was cold and just plane not good. It's hard to do a bad scrod with breadcrumbs but they did it.

Yelp
Like the food and ambiance but omg... please train your staff better!!!! It's a monday night and the waitress only has 4 tables. It took me 20 minutes to get my bill and another 15 mins to pay. I got tired of waiting and walked up to her and handed her our card to pay. We just wanted to go home at that point. If you can't attend to your 4 tables, it's okay to ask for help! Pork chop was pretty juicy for a thick piece. Mashed potatoes were super smooth. FYI it came with beef gravy. Steak with the demi was super juicy and tender as well! It's really sad that the chefs food is overshadowed by the service, or lack thereof, offered.

Yelp
I would give this place 3.5 stars. I ate here for several days throughout a week staying at the hotel and was impressed thoroughly by the staff and the beauty of the restaurant. However, the food was lacking. The scrambled eggs were incredibly watery and lacked flavor, the potatoes were unseasoned and tasted raw. However, there were some great parts: the pastries, the bacon and sausage, French toast. I would give another try.

Yelp
A bit pricey but if you're looking for a nice, fresh upscale dinner it's a great spot. Parking is easy in the Charles hotel garage. I ordered the scrod, which was very tasty if you're a fish fan. We were seated right by the dessert counter, so I wound up ordering the strawberry shortcake for dessert because it looked so good going out I couldn't resist!

Yelp
Came in at 11:53 empty tables but couldn't get sat till 12:00? Lunch options very limited, no sides with anything. Food extremely underwhelming. Server very inattentive even though dining room was slow. Not a good experience at all

Yelp
My husband and I were traveling through Boston and went here on a friend's recommendation. We were not disappointed! The food was fresh, reasonably priced and plentiful. We both really enjoyed our entrees. The bread was delicious. I felt like everything was healthy and not greasy or heavy like some places. The service was excellent--not intrusive but there when needed. It seemed like the employees like working there which always sets a pleasant tone for a night out. We will be back when we are out this way again.

Yelp
We ate here for brunch during Dine Out Boston and had a lovely experience! The patio is first come, first serve but we made one of the first brunch reservations so we were able to eat outside on the nicest day of 2021 to far - 73 degrees in April!!! Everyone was safely distanced outside and the waiters wore masks. Hand sanitizer was readily available as well. The Dine Out Boston special was an amazing deal and worth every calorie. For Brunch, you received a starter, entrée, dessert...for $28! To drink, we had Henrietta's Brunch Bubbles: bollocini prosecco, pitchers of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, fresh squeezed orange juice and pear juice for $35. Real fun way to spice up the standard brunch mimosa. I had the baked oysters to start, which had spinach, panko, and a balsamic glaze. Delicious, and very filling for four oysters! I had the hash as my main meal (house smoked salmon, poached eggs, preserved lemon hollandaise sauce) and a maple walnut pie with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. My mom copied me and had the exact same thing. All in all, we were both so impressed with the food, service and beautiful weather! The restaurant should consider an ongoing three course brunch special because I usually don't get three courses for brunch but I'm so happy I did and would definitely go back!!

Yelp
Henrietta's has been on my radar for years, so I as glad to have the opportunity to visit for brunch on Saturday. We got there soon after it opened, and it was already bustling. The oysters appetizer ($9) could have used even a small spoon. It looked so uninspired even though the 5 oysters were fresh. They sat on a very salty mound, which added too much salt when putting the shell to your mouth. (Was it meant to be decoration?) This presentation was similar to the waffle and lamb burger ($19). While the taste was good, the plates were boring. With the speedineness of the waiters and minimal personable interactions, I felt like just "another number." It's incredibly loud. Keeping at 3 stars because the ambiance is pleasant, and my friend's pulled pork and grits was better than average.

Yelp
Celebrated a double birthday with a Saturday brunch and it was very pleasant. They were able to accommodate our party of 11 with a week's notice, and there was something on the menu for everyone. Greens were fresh, meats cooked as ordered and everything tasted great. We are repeat customers and always enjoyed Henrietta's Table whether for Christmas dinner buffet, casual lunches or family celebrations in a casually elegant environment. They offered cake cutting with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (extra), attentive service and a wonderful experience as always.

Yelp
Came in for lunch 15 minutes before closing and really had an underwhelming experience. Ordered the potato leek soup which sounded delicious, though barely ate any of it because of how overly peppered it was. Ordered the oysters and didn't finish them because they tasted okay but I started to feel a little off after eating them. Still crossing my fingers I don't end up sick today. Ordered the chicken entree. It came and the chicken wasn't cooked in the middle, so sent it back. No apology from the server other than "we will get you a new one." There were 3 of us and 1 other person was delivered the wrong salad. Only one person in our party got exactly what they ordered. Second chicken came out and still was questionable though more cooked than the first one. As we paid, they came and cleared everything off the table including our water glasses, even though we weren't done drinking them. Just overall disappointing.
