Best New Restaurant Openings in New Orleans, March 2025 | Eater New Orleans
"The latest project from James Beard Award‑nominated chef Mike Stoltzfus (also owner of Coquette), situated in the former Wild South space, elevates rotisserie chicken for a neighborhood audience. Juicy birds are served half or whole with lemon, celery hot sauce, and garlic mayo, alongside sides such as chicken fat rice and collard greens. Extra sauces are available — try the sesame chili oil or tangy barbecue — and there’s a revolving door of prepared foods like pimento cheese plus bargain‑priced wines by the bottle." - Beth D’Addono
New Orleans Chef Ana Castro Will Open a Mexican Mariscos Restaurant, Close Lengua Madre | Eater New Orleans
"I report that Lengua Madre — the acclaimed modern Mexican tasting-menu restaurant opened by Ana Castro and owner Michael Stoltzfus in 2021 — will close on December 31, 2023, bringing an end to Castro and Stoltzfus’s seven-year working relationship. Located at 1245 Constance Street, the restaurant earned notable recognition: it was a semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in the 2022 James Beard Awards and was named Eater New Orleans’s fine dining restaurant of the year in 2021; Castro herself has been a James Beard finalist (rising star chef in 2018 and Best Chef: South in 2023)." - Clair Lorell
Here Today Combines Wine Shop, Ice Cream Parlor, and Fried Chicken Sandwich Spot | Eater New Orleans
"A collaboration between Coquette, Lucy Boone Ice Cream, and Patron Saint has opened as a pop-up called Here Today at 1245 Thalia Street (the article also references 1245 Constance Street), blending an ice cream shop, wine shop, and a restaurant serving Coquette’s fried chicken sandwiches under one roof. I visited during its first weekend after debuting Friday, March 5, and the kitchen—run by Coquette—has served boiled shrimp with chili peanut crisp and cilantro sauce, a fried fish sandwich, and fried chicken sandwiches. Lucy Boone Ice Cream sells scoops and pints of 12 different flavors, Patron Saint offers 150 wines by the bottle and three by the glass (which can be paired with the food), there’s a good amount of outdoor seating, and food is available for takeout with online ordering coming soon. Here Today is open Friday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m." - Clair Lorell
I do love me some rotisserie chicken, and while I'm a tourist in NoLa and want to eat all the NoLa food, I couldn't resist hitting this spot up with my buddy for lunch. We split a whole chicken and my buddy got a side of rotisserie potatoes for a $32 check before tax and tip. The chicken was perfect, and they brought some sauces out to make it even more bomb. My friend raved about hte potatoes which I thought were good as well. This place hit the spot for lunch and if I lived in NoLa I'd be here all the time!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! They were delicious! The service was so nice and so friendly everything came out pretty quickly and I could not have asked for anything better in Louisiana! I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants around here and this one is the best! There was literally nothing left after we got a half of a chicken! We got a large potato, we could have eaten double that because it was just so good! Please try this place because it is the best and it will not disappoint!

Love this place! It’s affordable and delicious. Staff is super friendly as well. We get the half chicken meal with potatoes and slaw. The celery hot sauce is my favorite but don’t sleep on the au jus or honey mustard.

Best restaurant in the area. I had the quarter rotisserie chicken plate with sweet potato hummus, chicken fat rice, and pickled vegetables. Best lunch I've had in a long time for only a few dollars more than fast food.

A fantastic, fresh, flavorful meal that is close to the convention center! Hearty, filling, and with great service, you can’t ask for anything more.

Yelp
Super cute aesthetic inside really welcoming and warm service. Everything we had was just OK nothing really knocked it out of the park but hopefully you'll find some sauces and flavors that you love there. I'm not a big ranch friend, but they do make their own and I heard it was really good for my dad that does even make sure you check them out.

Yelp
Here Today Rotisserie was amazing. The food was a solid 10 out of 10, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was great and the atmosphere made the experience even better. Definitely a must try spot.

Yelp
Wow I just ordered this place off uber eats was a little timid cause Yelp only had 1 review. I had the quarter chicken white meat with a sweet potato. It also came with a little gem salad with their cilantro ranch sauce, cauliflower, pickles, and rice. Everything was amazing this is a must try.

Yelp
This place is crazy good. This is like that perfect Airbnb you don't want to share. I'm going to share anyway cause I'm trying to get in Heaven. Every dish I've tried is perfect. I LOVE this place. Moist , flavorful and simply delicious. Busy so expect a wait for to go orders so order ahead. So lucky to have found this. Eating here every week. Perfect!
