"This is a fantastic sandwich shop. For example, the Cambodian fried chicken sandwich is a straight-up flavor parade. The thigh is brined with things like lemongrass, garlic, galangal, and turmeric, tossed in fish sauce, and then fried in rice flour. After that, it’s topped with sweet and spicy pickled papaya and put inside a brioche bun." - Adrian Kane

The food was absolutely savory. The perfect amount of seasoning and flavors. The meat was tender and juicy. The calamari and octopus was cooked to perfection; soft and tender. It was my first time eating there and it certainly left an unforgettable first impression.

Hermosa Mt Kisco a Peruvian inspired restaurant in Mount Kisco, NY, and try dishes that truly wowed me. The full review is on YouTube, the link is in the bio above. I had Lomo Saltado Fetuccini a la Huancaína—a fusion of stir-fried beef, onions, and tomatoes, paired with creamy Huancaína sauce over pasta—a unique twist I’ve never experienced before. I also enjoyed sweet fried chicken buns, which were the perfect blend of savory and sweet. To top it off, I tried two amazing drinks, one of which came with a captivating smoke show presentation. Watch as I dive into these flavors and share my full experience!

5/5 "Hidden Gem", just opened I'm told. Great atmosphere, the bartenders are the owners, very friendly, and the tequila cocktails are fantastic. It's been pretty quiet during lunch the two times I've visited, looking forward to seeing it at night once there's a crowd.

You can't go wrong here. Good vibe, good food, and friendly staff. Highly recommended 👏 Sweet Chicken Bao Buns are delicious but messy... 😋 wet wipes... The Watermelon Salad I added avocado. So good.

From the decor to the delicious food, everything was great. Walk through the entrance and you’re greeted with a sign saying “welcome to the place of happiness” and they didn’t disappoint. (Also take a cute selfie there! ). We started with the croquet with manchengo cheese…. Yum! But the winning appetizer was the corn. It’s a must! It comes with handmade chips incorporated into the appetizer so take a chip, pile on some of the corn and enjoy. Bartender was very friendly and the drinks were great. I had a drink with a hint of cinnamon and it was delicious. For dinner we had the skirt steak with potato bravas. It was cooked exactly as we asked, always a plus. I prefer medium well and that can vary by restaurant but Hermosa got it just right. They’ll be having entertainment starting with a DJ next week so make reservations now!

This was my second time here and I am so glad I came here again! Within the last couple of months, they have brought in a new chef featuring a larger menu and Peruvian style dishes. I had the Lomo with fettuccine a la Huancaina and it was absolutely delicious!! We also had an amazing brownie dessert. The cocktails are also great, probably the best mango margarita I ever had! I strongly recommend coming here. I can’t wait to come back!

Really good service. Great staff. Good selection of drinks. But the food was amazing. Best food I have had in a while. I had one of the new dishes and the taste and quality was amazing. They had a new chef and he had added some of his favourites and it was by far the best food I had in the US while I was there. Simply marvellous.

Yelp
It was my first time here, having dinner with my family. The staff were so nice and welcoming. I love what they have done with the space! The restaurant has a DJ on a couple of nights and can be rented out. The food was delicious! Everyone really enjoyed what they ate and we all shared. I had the chaufa with chicken it was amazing and a huge portion that I was able to share. My husband had the Lomo w/ Fettuccine a la Huancaina - highly recommend! I will definitely be coming back here to eat more food. PS - Shout out to Angela who took photos of my family and I when leaving!

Yelp
Today I ordered the chaufa rice. Which was fantastic. A Peruvian style fried rice. You can put whatever protein that you like. I had the mixed which came with chicken, shrimp and beef. Very tasty and satisfying rice. The service is always exquisite as fun/fine dining should be. Great music playing in the background. Happy eating folks. The rice will not disappoint.

Yelp
I keep going to this restaurant because they are so friendly and attentive. The food and the ambience always amazing. Shout to Angela and her brother they really know how to run the place and treat their customers. They make sure everyone is taken care of and having a good time.

Yelp
This place is a new and upcoming eatery with great food on the menu. I love that the owners are locals to Mount Kisco! I had dinner and brunch there, all in the same week! Some of my favorite dinner dishes include, the shrimp tacos, the sweet chicken bao buns, crispy croquettes and salmon tartare (nicely portioned). You get the best of both, sweet and savory in these dishes. Great for sharing. For brunch, I had the French toast with fresh fruit, which was yummy. We also had the shrimp bruschetta avocado toast and that was definitely another favorite for me. It was served in a crispy flat taco shell and sauce was delicious. Perfect to bite into! The service was great, very friendly and prompt. They even gave use complimentary dessert (while being considerate of a gluten allergy/dairy) , that was delicious. I think this would a b great place for happy, the bar is spacious and the drinks are so good! I had the Hugo Flower and it was so refreshing. My friend had a Nina Hermosa which I tasted, and it was another well balanced drink. I will definitely go back!

Yelp
The food here is great. We've been coming here since they opened. They told us that they recently hired a new chef and the food is just to die for. They added some new dishes which are so good. I love the peruvian style ceviche its so fresh and flavorful. Last time I went we tried the lomo with fettucine a la huancaina and my wife and I loved it so much. We usually get the steak chaufa. The cocktails are all pretty good too, my wife loves the niña hermosa. You seriously can't go wrong eating here. The service is great too, the servers are always on top of everything. The music and the ambiance are so nice too, very vibey. A fun date night location. I heard they have DJ's on some weekends too if you're into that.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with the family and everything was amazing! We started with the fried calamari which seemed to be beer battered, different than what I'm used to but so good! The batter kept the calamari tender and tasty. We also had the Shishito peppers which were blistered perfectly and had the right amount of salt to enhance the flavor. I had the hanger steak which I could have cut with a butter knife and we also had the octopus which my mother in law said was great and the burger cooked to perfection. The ambiance is amazing. Dim but not too dark. A burst of color added by wall mounted sconces and cool art work on the wall. The service was very attentive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I've gone to this new restaurant a couple of times already! And I will be going back as much as I can. I absolutely loved the service, food, DRINKS, and ambiance. I love the little photoshoot area. It's so trendy and a great waiting area. I was there for the first time on the day they opened. Then, for their grand opening. I went back the same weekend as their grand opening with a friend. That was my first time at the bar. We ordered the Peruvian Lily that day and it was so pretty and smooth. I've also ordered the margaritas and it is hands down the best margaritas I've had! FOOD: I've ordered a little bit of everything from the menu. The first time there, I had brought my grandparents, aunt, parents, uncle, my husband and kids. That day, the majority ordered the hanger steak, and burgers. My family said they were delicious! We also ordered croquettes and the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. I've been ordering those appetizers every time I go. The sauce that comes with the croquetas is spicy, and it's such a great combination. My brother ordered the pernil burger and it tasted just like a true Latin pernil! Which I did see another comment in the bottom about the pernil, and that costumer seems to be mistaken what a pernil is. Chicharrón is very different from a pernil. The sazón for it was great, my brother had no complaints. We have pernil every Christmas or thanksgiving, and chicharrón is a huge dish in Latin America, so we know the difference of chicharrón and pernil! Along with how it should taste! We also had the shrimp tostada, which was Chefs special dish that day. That's another dish I would love to order in the future. We went back yesterday, Sunday 12/10, which was the same weekend as their grand opening. My husband and brother this time around ordered the chicken masala. Now, I don't like Indian food (don't judge), but I did try out their plate and wow! The chicken masala was amazing! The spices were not so harsh. It was creamy. I loved the texture of this plate. It came with some strips of tostadas and when combining everything (chicken, rice, tostadas), it was just a great taste and texture. Another plate I'll be ordering in the future. This time I ordered the steak tacos. They came in three. My experience overall has been nothing but great. My family and I are absolutely excited about this new restaurant and is now one of our favorite restaurants in town. We're local and have been to numerous restaurants around town. We love how unique these plates are. Like I've stated, there are tons of dishes that I want to come back for. I follow their IG page and saw they will be having brunch. $25 bottomless mimosas!? That's exciting! And no other restaurant in town has that. PSA: sorry about the pictures, we couldn't wait to take a bite of each plate!

Yelp
The mixologist, Angie was hospitable and downright amazing, single-handled my operating a full bar and crafting complex and delicious drinks and cocktails. Even being beyond busy, she made sure to constantly check on us and make us feel comfortable. It was my first time here, and hopefully won't be my last- tapas and happy hour specials were delicious and came out fast! Highly recommend this family-ran establishment with a beautiful and inviting ambiance!

Yelp
Unapologetic, brutally honest review. Coming here felt like being excited for a first date and realizing she looked nothing like her picture. Came with my wife and a friend on their grand opening night, and I'm sad to say that my dislikes outweighed my likes. I hate the lighting in the place. The purple makes everything look off, so I couldn't truly see the color of my food. You can also see in my attached pictures that it's just such harsh lighting. It made it difficult to read the menu, too. I'm all for ambient lighting, but there's a line. I got the niña hermosa to drink, and while it was good, it didn't hit for me. Found it to be too summery, something to drink in July, not December. We were served pita and hummus to start, something tasted off about the hummus that I can't describe, but it wasn't good. Got the street corn dip, which was a plate of esquites that desperately needed the addition of the lime wedges it was served with. The portion was small and served with potato chips that were broken, so we couldn't even scoop it. We were expecting a dip served with tortilla chips, the first sign that I was catfished by this establishment. For entrees, we got the burger, pernil sandwich, and butter chicken. For a place serving mostly Latin fusion, the Indian butter chicken was very out of place. The chicken was super tender and flavorful, but the dish was thrown off with the addition of pico de gallo and tortilla strips. The burger tasted like a burger. The biggest disappointment of them all was the bbq pernil sandwich, which was not at all pernil (you know, that glorious Puerto Rican pork dish with crispy chicharron?). No, this was a damn pulled pork sandwich that didn't taste great at all. I was bamboozled when a pulled pork sandwich topped with cole slaw (that wasn't salted or very good) on a soggy bun was placed in front of me. The best thing we ate was the creme brulee. Thar was lovely. Service was really lacking. You would think for a grand opening that wait staff would be on top of it or a manager/owner would be there introducing themselves, welcoming patrons, etc. because I would have loved to say this directly to them. Sad to say that shortly after arriving home, our stomachs were hurting and we had to make a few bathroom trips which solidified not wanting to return anytime soon.

Yelp
I was in the area meeting with a friend and we decided to come to Hermosa for their grand opening. When I first stepped into the restaurant I was stunned on how beautiful the interior looked. The vibes of the restaurant were great. Even though the place was slamming (such a good thing for a grand opening of a new restaurant) the staff were very attentive to my friend and I. We ordered the salmon tartar and the croquettes, these appetizers were phenomenal! For the entree we shared the salmon and honey brussels, and let me tell you those brussels sprouts were AMAZING. I cannot stop thinking about them! We didn't have any room for dessert but they all sounded delicious! The staff is super friendly and they made sure our glasses weren't empty! I will 100% be coming back and this time I will save room for dessert. Especially since they have my favorite which is crème brûlée!

Yelp
Great dining experience. Located right in the heart of Mount Kisco downtown with ample parking in the back. We were seated immediately and our drink orders taken. Great service throughout the nice. I liked the ambiance of the place. Romantic lighting. The food was delicious. Appetizers great for sharing. The drinks were nicely made. I enjoyed my visit and would be back.

Yelp
Had a wonderful brunch with my college friend here today and had super delicious chicken and waffles. My friend had their pancakes. Their menu has quite a few original cocktails. We found a perfect venue to catch up without pressure while eating well. The ambiance is very much a bistro and reservations are available.

Yelp
We had several appetizers and they were ok. There's still have loud music going on which makes it hard to keep a conversation. Service was good.

Yelp
Food is amazing ! We ordered for appetizer the calamari , they were amazing! Seriously I would have ordered another one but needed to save some room for the Hermosa burger! I usually don't eat burgers at restaurants but this one was juicy , not dry and the egg just hit the spot . My husband got the hanger steak and he loved it . He kept saying how juicy the steak was . My daughter got the chicken tenders and fries . She almost ate all of it . Love everything about this restaurant and felt so comfortable here , service was on point! I'm already looking forward to going there for brunch !

Madhuri B.

Yelp
We went here with my family and enjoyed everything. The atmosphere is great with mood lighting set. The cocktails were mouth watering. We enjoyed the small plates with the croquetas being a family favorite. The service was attentive as they checked in after every course to see how we were liking everything. I had the baked chicken for the main dish and it was delicious and flavorful. Don't skip the dessert. We had crème brule and loved it. Will visit soon.

Yelp
Came to this place during their soft launch and really enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. Chris (the co-owner) was very attentive to us always making sure we had what we needed and we're satisfied. The vibes were just right and relaxing. Will definitely be back soon
