Google
There was so much hype around it and I finally visited today. Today was also the only time I would ever visit this bakery. Service is great from the cashier and barista, no issues there. But overall the food is just lackluster. Our order consisted of: •Alexander Toast: thick toast topped with bacon and cheese. This was good, but nothing extraordinary that would make me order it again. We asked to get it warmed up and it definitely was not warmed, it was still room temperature when we ate it •Egg Tart: again, good but nothing making me want to return. I did appreciate how it was more of a custard filling so the texture was rich and velvety. But the pastry was soggy. •Truffle Baguette: the bread was stale and dry, and there was just a brush of the truffle cheese/mixture on top and inside. It was honestly so overpowering we thought there would be SOMETHING to coincide with it to balance it out •Walnut Cream Bread: again, dry and pretty bland with bitter walnuts and a plain whipped cream inside. To drink I got the matcha cloud which was fine, plenty of other places with better matcha. The matcha itself was mixed well and they don’t sweeten it which I liked. But the barista said the foam top is sweet but it definitely was not sweet at all. It just tasted like plain foam. Being the only customers for the first 30-40 minutes after opening, it’s safe to say the hype has all but diminished

Finally made it to Beverly Canon Gardens with my besties for a highly anticipated visit to Hibake, the first overseas branch of this Chengdu-based bakery. It's affectionately called the "puppy bakery" because the owner loves rescuing stray dogs, and the logo is a cartoon of her own adopted dog! 📍 Location & Parking Inside Beverly Canon Gardens.Enter the parking structure as shown in Figure ②, and you get 2 hours of free parking—plenty of time to enjoy some pastries and coffee. 🌸 Vibe & Service · Magenta Aesthetic: The place stands out instantly with its magenta umbrellas, signage, pushcarts, and retro bicycle—very playful and chic. · Photo Spots: The magenta installations outside and the large mirror inside are perfect for photos. · Complimentary Samples: Staff members walk around offering continuous bread samples, so you can try before you buy. Super thoughtful! 🍰 Must-Try Bakes We ordered several recommended items—almost all were hits: 💗 Signature Egg Tarts ($6.99 - $7.99) · Matcha Egg Tart: Topped with a thick layer of matcha powder. The rich, eggy custard inside is balanced perfectly by the matcha, cutting through the sweetness. · Blueberry Egg Tart: Features a giant blueberry on top and a blueberry jam filling inside. Very fruity. · Dubai Chocolate Egg Tart: Has a smooth chocolate glaze on top, sprinkled with pistachio cookie crumbs. The filling is a unique pistachio flavor. 💜 Walnut Brioche ($6.99) A soft, sweet bread topped with crispy walnut pieces. The specially whipped cream filling is the star—it tastes like ice cream when chilled and is sweet and creamy at room temperature. 🎃 Pumpkin Bun ($6.99) · Finally, a fall treat for the Asian palate! This seasonal limited edition contains NO cinnamon! · The soft, pumpkin-shaped bun is adorable. The dough has a subtle pumpkin flavor, and the filling is packed with real Kabocha squash chunks and cheese. It's wholesome, not too sweet, and totally reminds us of bakeries back home. ☕️ Coffee Pairings · Pistachio Dirty Latte ($6.99): The pistachio paste includes actual nut pieces, paired with an iced latte. Rich and textured. · Cloud Top ($5.99): Features a thick layer of sea salt cream cheese foam on top of slightly sweetened iced Americano. A perfect mix of salty and sweet. · Classic Latte ($5.99): A solid, standard latte. The hot drink cups are adorable with their cartoon designs that you can color in yourself!

⸻ I recently visited Hibake | Asian Fusion Bakery in Beverly Hills, and I was pleasantly surprised! The bakery has a very stylish and cozy interior, and the staff is warm and welcoming. The pastries are quite unique in flavor – not overly sweet, but still very delicious and satisfying. Prices are reasonable, just a little above average, which feels fair considering the quality. The only thing I would love to see in the future is some gluten-free options, since not everyone can enjoy baked goods with gluten, but they would definitely love to try these creations too. Overall, it’s a wonderful new spot worth visiting!

Setting its foot in the heart of Beverly Hills, the venue brought that more classic touch, but added the fun element with bright pink theme colors and dog pics on different corners, carrying their animal-loving theme along with their initiative to save stray animals! First day might make it bit rough as some of the admin stuffs seemed not that ready. I visited around noon and the cashier was confused to process the transaction. Seemed they haven’t maintained the system properly on item by price including tax rate to charge. Some pastries were displayed and the assistant was actually super friendly and helpful. They carried tons of options from sweet and savory, and had some served chilled, which you could grab from the fridge yourself. Their signature were their tigre, looking like sponge cake, as well as their custard tart. Going for their chocolate custard tart, the size was bigger than typical traditional one, with crumbly and perfectly laminated base. I might wish the shell to be bit more flavorful and buttery but it’s pretty decent. I loved the idea combining it with dark chocolate on top as the slight bitterness balanced the sweetness well. From the savory I was trying to look for their Wagyu Croissant which was shown on the web, but couldn’t find it so I tried the sausage potato and cheese one, which was decadent and bringing great combo of ingredients. Another recommended one would be the truffle mushroom for sure. Overall I would say it’s worth trying and hopefully the confusion with the checkout process got solved soon (totally understandable for day 1!).

My new favorite bakery in LA! This place is such a hidden gem tucked inside Beverly Cañon Gardens—lots of green space and outdoor seating, perfect for chilling. The vibe is super clean, bright, and pretty. Everything feels fresh and cozy, and the pastries look amazing just sitting there. I wasn’t expecting much from the food (you know how cute places can be kinda meh), but everything we tried was so good. The French egg tart was hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy outside, rich and sweet inside. I’m still thinking about it. Also, super dog-friendly! My pup was so happy running around on the big lawn, and the staff was super sweet to her. I even heard this brand donates to dog rescues in other countries—love that. If you're in West LA, definitely check it out. I’m 100% coming back again!

This bakery is going VIRAL in LA right now and I can definitely say it is worth the hype. With over 60 locations in Asia, Hibake is known for reimagining classic flavors with a modern twist, and this is their first US location in Beverly Hills. Everything here looks like a work of art, and what's even better is the ingredients they use are top tier like 99% Corman butter from Belgium and imported Japanese flour. I was utterly surprised by the selection of different pastries, sweet, savory, everything you can imagine, is here. The Franklin toast is SO good when heated up, there were so many elements they added to that lil toast. And the unique shape of their mochi egg tarts gives them an INSANE texture, and they even came out with a Dubai chocolate version!! And yes, they have the VIRAL giant croissant here! Let me tell you, that first bite of a giant croissant dipped in a cloud top coffee is unparalleled, easily one of the top 5 experiences of my life… It's a weekend-exclusive item, and only 5 per day! Thanks for reading! ^-^

Very cute new bakery! Bought the walnut brioche, and it was light and delicious. They also have dedicated outdoor seating and trays, solid customer service and attent to interior design.

🤩Just discovered this new bakery and absolutely loved it! Everything we tried was delicious, especially the egg tarts – they’re a must-try. The place is also pet-friendly, which is a huge plus. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Definitely coming back! 🥐🐾

Yelp
LOVE THE EGG TARTS FROM HERE. I had about 6 items which totaled to about $46 bucks - mentaiko/fish roe baguette -truffle baguette - matcha pistachio swirl - raspberry egg tart - matcha egg tart - caramel mochi egg tart My favorite item is probably the caramel mochi egg tart and truffle baguette. Food was so decadent and rich. They gave us samples of the egg tart which was nice. People were attentive and able to pack my order right away. There was no lines which was nice. Vibe is like a rustic French bakery so everything is picture worthy. Lots of spots where you can take cute pictures. Definitely would love to come back with family one day.

Yelp
I love the maybourne hotel and so stunned I never saw this spot, it's across their "quad", and they offer some fantastic unique options. I obviously needed to get goodies for my trip home: Truffle bread- YUM. Tobiko bread- what a combo! Good and slightly sweet. Portuguese egg tart- their way, and so good Green tea- sampled, and very fresh! What a treat. The staff was very nice and helpful when I was deciding which was the best option for me. Plenty of seating outside which is nice because that central public garden area is one of my fav spots in BH.

Yelp
Hi Bake is a really charming bakery in Beverly Hills. I didn't know about the free 2 hour parking underground thats right by the shop; validated parking is like $3.50/15 mins at other nearby parking. Shopkeepers were really kind and helpful in helping me choose my baked goods! The team was very patient and was quick to help me get a hot matcha latte to pick up next door. They work really fast! Flattened croissant was really the shining star. So simple, so delicious! Alexander Bread and the Flying Fish Roe bread was reallly good!! So delicious after being toasted! Egg tarts were ok; they lose their flakiness quickly but I appreciate the wide range of flavors and very generous fillings. I think the flavor has a bit more to go but there's a lot of spirit here in Hi Bake!

Since opening in 2012 and growing to 60 locations in China, Hi Bake opened its first US location in Beverly Hills earlier this year. There was so much hype around it and I finally visited today. Yelp
This is the first US location for Hibake, a Chinese bakery chain, which supports stray pets. Tucked away in the old Bouchon space in the Beverly Canon Gardens, there's a drink window and the bakery, which has several types of egg tarts, croissants and other pastries. I chose a couple of egg tarts and the flying fish roe baguette, which was recommended by the staff. It's on the pricey side - $5.99-$7.99 for the egg tarts and $6.99 for the baguette. There are tables and chairs outside where you can enjoy your purchase. The fish roe baguette was interesting, with hints of wasabi. This was my favorite. I didn't eat the egg tarts until later in the day, so they had lost their crispness. Of the two, I preferred the blueberry egg tart, which had some blueberry jam inside as well. The Dubai chocolate egg tart was a little light in pistachio flavor, with just a bit of knafeh in the center. If you buy them, definitely eat them as soon as possible or try reheating them later. Free 2-hour parking in the public lot below.

Yelp
The cutest bakery with unique Asian sweet and savory pastries and drinks, with a love of rescue dogs and the color pink as the bakery theme

Yelp
Cute, pink Asian bakery in BH. Pastries are good but the heart of the founder is far more precious, hence, the 5 stars (wish I can give more). Word has it the founder is involved in stray dog and cat charities. Love this and I'm in full support. Pastries were also delicious. Picked up a bunch to sample. 1. Tokyo banana roll: fresh whole banana with lightly sweetened white cream wrapped in a soft bread shell. Super soft so wouldn't try to pick it up with your hands . Use the utensils to eat. They make only a few each day so if you want to try it to earlier. Honestly was good but didn't think it was anything special. But still worth trying 2. Matcha egg tart: My favorite. Creamy egg tart with loads of green matcha powder on top. The egg tart is slightly sweet so the matcha topping gave it a very good balance of a slightly bitter flavor. Together it was fantastic. This one was my favorite and I highly recommend. 3. Blueberry egg tart: also pretty delicious. Same creamy egg tart base with blueberry and jam filling in the middle and on top. Not too sweet. My second pick and my friend's favorite. 4. Dubai egg tart: same egg tart base with loads of chocolate and delicious kunafe. This one was a bit sweet for me but my friend loved it. 5. Pistachio snail roll: light pastry with pistachio pieces sprinkled on top. Very good with a hot cup of coffee. 6. Flying fish roe baguette: yummy baguette with orange fish roe on the surface. The bread is somehow infused with wasabi which gave it an interesting flavor. Surprisingly very good. More of a savory baguette which I'm not complaining about. Please try. Overall delicious pastries located in a beautiful space with tons of outdoor seating available. Would highly recommend you try.

Yelp
Thank you Joseph A, for alerting me of this cool café near my office. Founded in Hong Kong and now based in Chendgu, Hi-Bake serves up French/Asian inspired sweets. They specialize in custard tarts and buttery croissants stuffed with red bean, molten chocolate lava, and even wagyu beef. Located in the former Bouchon bakery space, this place is aesthetically pleasing with cute décor. It's also dog friendly. They support animal rescue by funding a community-focused animal rescue initiative that provides free adoption services and vet care. Their goal is to create a world where every animal feels safe & loved, which makes me happy to support this business. The coffee bar is separate and there are tables so you can enjoy your coffee & pastry in the beautiful courtyard of the Maybourne Hotel. When I arrived I received a friendly welcome from the staff. Everything in the display case looked scrumptious! I had my heart set on the Dubai Chocolate tart, so I got one for myself and my co-worker. OMG! The crust was amazing! Lots of crispy flaky layers. The crust itself was very tasty. The tart was filled with a pistachio cream that was firm but silky smooth and it was topped with a thin layer of chocolate ganache and a dollop of pistachio kunafa. It was delicious and not too sweet. I can't wait to go back and try some more of their tasty treats.

Yelp
We didn't get to try their pastries. Unfortunately there was an issue with their oven so they didn't have any pastries for us to try. We did get their guava refresher and matcha. Both were good but nothing too special. The matcha was not sweet so would not recommend if you prefer more of a sweeter version of the drink. What we did love was the ambience. Located in a court yard, the seating is located outside. There are a couple water fountains in the courtyard so the sound of trickling water plus the calm courtyard atmosphere was very pleasing. Service was very friendly and quick. Umbrella outdoor seating available. Metered street parking as well as free 2 hour underground parking available. Will have to come back and try their pastries and update this review .

Yelp
Good flavors but my favorite one is the original. The ones in Asia are slightly tastier cause many are made with sourdough while I think this is just regular. While the flavors are delicious they could be a little fresher. I would recommend coming early in the morning for ultimate freshness or reairfrying your pastries for peak freshness. Would still come back cause I work in the area and this bakery has a lot of potential to be a top one if they work out their initial opening month or two issues.

Yelp
The first and only location (as of July 2025) of a bakery chain from China. They do coffee drinks, and lots of wonderful looking baked goods. Oh, and part of their business model is that they use a portion of their funds to support and rescue stray cats and dogs. They even have photos and stickers of the various animals they helped out. At the time of my visit, they had only been open for one week. The people are friendly and helpful, the space is clean, sleek, and aesthetically pleasing. They're located along the Beverly Canon Gardens. So you can sit in the courtyard and enjoy your food and beverages. Or just have a nice stroll through the area before and after ordering. I got the Dubai chocolate inspired pastry. At $7.99, it's definitely on the more reasonably priced side of the Dubai chocolate inspired food items I've had. And it was delicious... and so was the Pistachio Dirty Latte I ordered. By the way, once you order your food items and your drink, there's a window located outside and a few steps down where you pick up the beverage you ordered. This place is definitely a delight and a place. I'd love to come back to when I'm in the area.

Yelp
The custard tarts are the real deal here with the traditional custard. Super rich flavor and crunchy crust. The other egg tarts were good but they were actually just topped with the flavor (ie the Dubai chocolate had chocolate the crispy bits on top of a traditional custard tart it seemed). Their savory breads are also great options - I had both the sausage cheese and potato and the Alexander Toast. The size, taste and flavors were on point! Drinks were decent but maybe not to the quality of the pastries. I tried the pistachio and the matcha. Service was friendly and fast! The bakery itself also had a classy European style with beautiful presentation of the pastries. Prices weren't too bad for the area at $6-$7. For the quality and size very worth it. I don't recommend buying many to go unless you plan to eat it right away. I had a tart the next day and the crunchiness was no longer there as the filling softened it. The toasts fared better next day though! Free parking for 2 hours in the lot underneath before evening rates kick in.

Yelp
Hi Bake is the new hot spot in Beverly Hills and it's legit. The pastries here are so~ freaking good! I went over the weekend and I'm trying to figure out when I can pop back in for some more. Started in Hong Kong, they now have over 60 locations across China and now we get our first one here in the States! My bff loved the Tokyo Banana Roll Tiger Skin edition and if you also love bananas like a minion, you will probably also love this fluffy cake wrapped around banana custard. The croissants and tarts are all great, as well with the matcha being my personal favorite out of the standard, matcha and dubai chocolate! My personal favorite baked goodie for sale is the various toasts though! Absolutely obsessed with the sausage, cheese & potato toast and the Alexander toast. The coffee options could be more exciting but I'm just happy they have some! They do have cloud tops which is fun. Really cute goodies with a few tables so you can sit overlooking the Beverly Canon Gardens. It does get busy being so new so prepare to wait a bit.

Shilpa D.

Yelp
The people who work here are very friendly and welcoming. most of their savory pastries had meat so I went for their cream filled walnut bun. I thought it was good, soft and not too sweet but it wasn't $7 amazing. It's just priced for that area. Also, they kind of force you to leave at least $1 tip. The only options were $1 $2 $3 with no option to skip. And then I had to bring my tray back inside. It feels a little crazy to spend $1 on a tip when all they are doing is putting a bun in a bag. At $8 overall, I likely won't be back but if you're near and want a pastry - it's a good place to try out!

Yelp
Wanted to go to Hibake and wanted to find out what Dubai chocolate was like. This morning I killed two birds with one stone. Went to Hibake and had a Dubai chocolate egg tart. The Dubai chocolate egg tart was very good. There were lots of places to sit outside. As others have mentioned Hibake is where Bouchon Bakery used to be in the Beverly Canon Gardens parking structure.

Yelp
/)/) ( . .) ( づ the egg tarts are amazing. Super flaky and creamy on the inside. Not too sweet, perfectly balanced. Must try! Also had the pistachio matcha which was amazing, very pistachio nut butter ish. Also had the cheese with ham bread which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was amazing and quick. Plenty seating outside with the nicest vibe and view. Can recommend this place for a beautiful experience.

Yelp
A cute pet-friendly cafe in Beverly Hills! The staff were friendly in helping me pick out a couple items. There were samples at the register which was a nice treat too! Their egg tarts, which come in multiple flavors, are a must try! The blueberry egg tart had the perfect sweetness and crispiness on the outside. I also had the sausage and potato toast which was yummy but I would have enjoyed it much more warmed up. The bakery is located in a beautiful courtyard with outside seating. 2 hour free parking in the lot underground before 6pm.

Yelp
They just opened last week! Great location as it's located in the Beverly Canon Gardens, which means convenient City Parking that offers free 2 hour parking. Also, at a perfect time since they are doing concerts at the park. So grab a treat and coffee! Few things about the place that was shared - It is a popular bakery from China. Fresh baked items. New drink items will be coming on the menu. The space is so well decorated, brightly lit, and clean. The team was so friendly as well. The one pastry I tried was really good. Not dry at all. Will need to go back and try some of their custard fill desserts and tarts. Worth a visit.

Yelp
I stopped by on their grand opening, so it was packed and the pastry selection was a bit limited. I tried four different tarts and expected each to taste unique, but they were all basically egg tarts with different toppings. Still good, just not much variety in flavor. The Toast, on the other hand, was excellent, soft, flavorful, and I loved the mix of vegetables inside. It really stood out compared to other toasts I've had. Service was friendly but a little overwhelmed with the crowd, which is understandable on grand opening day. The vibe was lively, though the packaging could use some work since my tarts were stacked and ended up sticking together. Overall, a promising spot ,especially for the bread. I'd definitely return once they've had time to settle in.

Yelp
Super clean and great view, the employees wiped down the table extra just in case. I like the customer service. Matcha, Dubai chocolate yes!!! 10/10 Savory: the ham sausage cheese on toast was great! The garlic and cheese taste was just the hit before the matcha egg tart! I love how the pastries are not too sweet. I recommend getting a savory and pair it with a sweet one at the end! Truffle mushroom: will def get again Blueberry and strawberry egg tart 9/10!! Soo good Paid about 30 dollars for 4 pastries. Expensive side but I enjoyed my experience. Will come back

Yelp
The online menu is misleading - most of those items weren't actually in the store. We asked the staff if maybe we missed them in the morning but they said they haven't had any of those items all day because they're still testing out the menu lol?? They're known for the croissants and egg custard tarts. The custard is a bit on the eggy side but still enjoyable. The lamination was pretty good - layers were crispy and flaky. However it was quite dry and could probably have used a bit more butter for richness since imo the inside of a croissant should be soft with a little chew. It's fine to visit once but not worth returning.

Yelp
WOW. Just WOW. We got their egg tart ($5.99), dubai chocolate egg tart ($7.99), blueberry egg tart ($6.99), and potato sausage toast ($7.99). My favorite was the classic egg tart--so crispy and made to perfection! it's not your classic egg tart crust but more croissant like with lots of layers which is why I love it. The filling is also very flavorful and creamy. The dubai chocolate egg tart was also really good but I wish they spread the kataifi more across the egg tart as well instead of just having it as a clump on top. Loved the blueberry too! The potato and sausage toast was good in flavor but would've been better if it was warm. Overall I really enjoyed their stuff. Obviously it's more on the pricey end but everything is very high quality including the packaging! Hope to come here again!

Yelp
Visiting on the very first soft opening day, I have set my expectation on the line and crowd for sure. Setting its foot in the heart of Beverly Hills, it just felt like perfect neighborhood to pick. I had been super excited about this place browsing around their pastries menu and knowing they came all the way from China. The venue brought that more classic touch, but added the fun element with bright pink theme colors and dog pics on different corners, carrying their animal-loving theme along with their initiative to save stray animals! First day might make it bit rough as some of the admin stuffs seemed not that ready. I visited around noon and the cashier was confused to process the transaction. Seemed they haven't maintained the system properly on item by price including tax rate to charge. The venue was kinda busy more with people making content, but I surely didn't mind as what they sold would be most important lol. Some pastries were displayed and the assistant was actually super friendly and helpful. They carried tons of options from sweet and savory, and had some served chilled, which you could grab from the fridge yourself. Their signature were their tigre, looking like sponge cake, as well as their custard tart. I was trying to grab the tigre but some people seemed to be amidst video recording around the area so I ended up with their chocolate custard tart as that's indeed what brought me here. The size was bigger than typical traditional one, with crumbly and perfectly laminated base. I might wish the shell to be bit more flavorful and buttery but it's pretty decent. I loved the idea combining it with dark chocolate on top as the slight bitterness balanced the sweetness well. From the savory I was trying to look for their Wagyu Croissant which was shown on the web, but couldn't find it so I tried the sausage potato and cheese one, which was decadent and bringing great combo of ingredients. Another recommended one would be the truffle mushroom for sure. Overall I would say it's worth trying and hopefully the confusion with the checkout process got solved soon (totally understandable for day 1!).

Yelp
The matcha with cold foam was disgusting and the only pastry worth grabbing is the egg tart, which is absolutely fantastic. The staff were so welcoming and informative. Parking is simple in the garage for two free hours or metered street parking.

Yelp
i really wanted to dislike this place because it's in the space where the Bouchon Bistro and Bouchon Bakery used to be and i'm very resentful of the fact they're no longer here (it's a grudge i've held for about 8 years, or however long it was since they decided to not renew their lease!!!). anyway. i was pleasantly surprised by Hi Bake. i was initially skeptical due to their trendy branding, thinking this could just be all about presentation and flair. but i was wrong. their egg tarts are not overwhelmingly sweet despite how they seem to visually appear. the egg tart fills the palm of my hand and i can share it with my son without us fighting over it :) he also loves the sausage and the bacon toast. they are generously topped and have just the right amount of cheese and potato to fill him up as a lunch. the space is classic and elegant. and of course, since they've kept a lot of the Bouchon design elements, including the pretty tile. seating is plentiful in the beautiful Maybourne courtyard. they have a coffee bar just steps away from the bakery at a separate window, which i have yet to try. it seems to offer a nice variety of coffee and matcha beverages on the menu. RIP to Bouchon Bakery, and welcome Hi Bake. i look forward to seeing other items on their rotation, including the wagyu pastry!!

Yelp
Super cute! Love that we're adding an Asian bakery in Beverly Hills. It's located in a courtyard so there's lots of seating outside. Had high hopes, especially given how cute it is. The menu is not the same every day - their stock comes out in waves and are not pre-announced. We've stopped by twice and settled for what they had in stock even though it wasn't what we wanted. And the pastries were okay... Maybe we'll go back and keep seeing if there's anything tastier.

Yelp
Came during opening weekend at around 3pm so there wasn't much left besides the Andrew Toast and the mochi egg tart. The toast would probably taste better if it was heated before biting into it with the ham cubes. The mochi egg tart on the other hand was delicious, looked sweet but it wasn't. A cute bakery shop with just outdoor seating and 2 hour complimentary parking underground in Beverly Hills before 6pm.

Yelp
New bakery in Beverly Hills! Good for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. Got the iced Pistachio Latte, Sausage Potato Cheese Toast, and Tokyo Banana that they only have a few of per day. Yummy. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Cute outdoor seating with pink umbrellas.

Yelp
Saw this bakery all over my ig so decided to pay them a visit as soon as i landed in LA. Store supposed to open at 10AM but the staff told me they have oven problem on that day so I have to comeback at 11AM. I love the store design inside out, they have cute cart, bicycle, magazine and other mini decoration that related to dog and cat theme. The staff was helpful and sweet, she helped me picked out their top 3 sweet pastries which is Walnut Brioche, Original Salt Bread, and French Custard Tart, i decided to add the Dubai Chocolate Tart to have total 4 items so she put everything in a nice box and paper bag for me. These pastry have an amazing quality, especially the egg tarts, I shared them with my mom after I got back to my city 2 days later, it wasn't fresh out of the oven but got reheated in the air fryer but still taste heavenly, i like it and my mom approved it so it's good. will definitely try out other items at this place when i visit LA or Bevelry Hills again in the future.

Yelp
Cute new Asian bakery in Bev Hills. I initially saw their Tokyo banana roll online and was intrigued by how fluffy and delicious it looked. The man running the front was so nice and helpful. My friend and I ended up sharing the banana roll and dubai chocolate tart. I thought both tasted okay, nothing that would make me eager to return.

Yelp
Super cute inside, love the decor and the pink girly feel this place give you. Smells so good inside and they have unique menu items. Coffee and smoothies at the outside bar. I bought the famous banana taco they advertise. It wasn't bad, but I thought it could be sweeter. We tried a couple other items and we likes those. The Aleksander baguette was my favorite. Service was fast.

Yelp
I just needed a quick, light, affordable snack for lunch and this place filled the bill. They're newly opened and aimed to please. They have a variety of interesting pastries (i.e. red bean or wagyu beef croissant; pistachio custard tart). I tried a delectable, flaky, truffle/mushroom/cheese square that hit the spot. They also have drinks, including fresh coffee. I like that they are animal-conscious. Sitting in the courtyard provides good BH people-watching in a lovely garden setting. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Positives: - Mochi egg tart ($7.99) was delicious! Perfectly crunchy, crispy and flaky base, and great combo of egg and mochi filling. Sweet but not too sweet. - Lovely location in Beverly Hills, nice vibe Negatives: - minus 1/2 a star: service was disorganized; they were mixing up orders and didn't know what was going on. They should have 2 cashiers instead of 1 bc that was clearly the bottleneck slowing everything down and causing an unnecessary line. Hope they fix this post-grand opening - minus 1/2 a star: out of all their menu items - I'm sure it's 20+ things - they only had 3 things available? I went there wanting specifically to try a few items but they didn't have any of them :( what's worse I was waiting in line for a while and didnt realize they only had 3 options, so felt like I wasted a bunch of time. Hope this is solved post-grand opening - minus 1 star: prices are crazy. $7.99 for the mochi egg tart is fine skewing $$$, but the most outrageous was the drink prices - the cups are the tiniest I have EVER seen, about half the size of a Starbucks Tall/small. Honestly outrageous, I get rent is high in bev hills but omg that is a scam Good to try but won't be coming back. Take the tiktok reviews with a grain of salt!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this spot while exploring the Beverly Gardens area. Shoutout to whoever designed the poster and interior decor -- it's creative and eye-catching. The menu is also a fun highlight, featuring adorable dog photos that definitely grab your attention. The ordering process is simple: you place your drink order inside, and then pick it up from a side window when it's ready. Prices are pretty standard for Beverly Hills, though the portions do lean on the smaller side.

Yelp
Tried Hi Bake for the first time and ordered their salt croissant (which felt more like a bread, but was still very tasty!) along with a coffee. Both were fresh and flavorful. The space has a nice vibe, and I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

Yelp
No utensils, no equipment to warm up savory pastries, no sugar available for coffee (just sweeteners) and poor customer service! I mean....ugh.

Yelp
This is definitely one of my new favorite places in Beverly Hills. The baked goods are so delicious and they have a really unique flavor selection. Unlike anything I found in the area before. I love the aesthetic and service is wonderful too!

Yelp
As someone who gets genuinely excited when a new bakery opens in Beverly Hills, especially with so many great coffee spots around. I'm always hopeful for a fresh place to pair a good pastry with a drink. I was particularly intrigued when I saw HiBake had opened, as I'm familiar with them from my frequent travels to Hong Kong. One of the things I love about many Asian bakeries is their lighter touch when it comes to sugar. HiBake stays true to that tradition, which I appreciate. It makes the pastries feel less heavy and a bit more guilt-free. The egg custard tarts come in several flavors and are enjoyable, but beyond that, the offerings start to fall flat. The much hyped Tokyo Banana Roll was a major letdown. It's essentially a banana with a light cream (which tasted artificial) wrapped in a bland sponge cake. At the price point, it felt more like a novelty than a truly satisfying dessert. It was awkward to eat, overpriced, and frankly, not something I'd recommend. But what really dragged down the experience were the drinks. Unfortunately, they were some of the worst I've ever had. The dairy and matcha were low-quality bulk ingredients from Costco, and the flavors were off in every way. They clearly haven't figured out their beverage game, nor do they seem to understand the expectations of the local crowd, especially given the café competition in the area. After requesting remakes, both drinks still ended up in the trash after just one sip. I truly hope to see improvements. The concept has potential, and it would be wonderful to have a bakery offering these unique items thrive in Beverly Hills. But for now, it's not a place I'd return to.

Yelp
So happy there's finally an Asian bakery in LA! Hi Bake is such a cute spot, bright, welcoming, and perfect for enjoying cake and coffee in the sunshine. Plus, it's pet-friendly, which is a huge bonus! I'm obsessed with their Tiger Skin Series and the tart. Not too sweet, just super tasty and satisfying. Definitely my new go-to for a chill afternoon treat.

Yelp
My new favorite bakery in LA! This place is such a hidden gem tucked inside Beverly Cañon Gardens--lots of green space and outdoor seating, perfect for chilling. The vibe is super clean, bright, and pretty. Everything feels fresh and cozy, and the pastries look amazing just sitting there. I wasn't expecting much from the food (you know how cute places can be kinda meh), but everything we tried was so good. The French egg tart was hands down the best I've ever had--crispy outside, rich and sweet inside. I'm still thinking about it. Also, super dog-friendly! My pup was so happy running around on the big lawn, and the staff was super sweet to her. I even heard this brand donates to dog rescues in other countries--love that. If you're in West LA, definitely check it out. I'm 100% coming back again!

Yelp
My buddy and I drove to Hi Bake Wednesday morning to check it out since this was our first visit. We were both disappointed at the fact when we arrived it was already around 10:30AM and the shop was still not open. According to the business hours on Google it states that Hi Bake opens at 9AM on Wednesday. This was an absolute waste of our time since we were stopping by before heading off to home just getting out of work hoping to have a good experience. Please update your hours on Google if it's not accurate!! Don't want to run into this matter again... What time do you guys actually open on Wednesday? When arrived to the shop, no one was inside, lights were off, no pastries on display and the seats weren't set up.

Yelp
This place is crazy expensive! The banana crêpe is $10 so if you get a couple pastries, you can easily spend $30-$50 for just pastries. I would recommend coming here once but my biggest frustration is I like the salt bread. Every single time I come, they don't have it. They don't make it until late in the day, which is really frustrating. I don't know how a bakery operates at 10 AM - which is late for a bakery- and still doesn't have a lot of the items. Parking is also difficult unless you valet in the structure.

Yelp
This really wasn't my most exciting experience. I've been watching this place getting built for months happen to come this weekend so decided I would wait in line. I have no problem with lines. It went pretty quick maybe about 2025 minutes. They had a couple menus outside they had a banner with Tokyo banana dessert I got up in the line. The gentleman was kind of rude But was describing what his favorites were so I think it was just that he said it was chaos. The other two days went in super excited knew pretty much what I was gonna order but open to putting more things in. They were offering a little bag with a $30 purchase so I did intended on at least to spend that I got in they were very few things available. They had a strawberry egg tart Matcha egg tart the walnut croissant and the Dubai chocolate which they said was their best seller. This could be the location. This could be because they're new they're out of everything I really wanted, but the woman in front of me was super sweet and she was there with her daughter and said that the Dubai chocolate was also her favorite so since they're out of everything that I wanted, I ordered that I was really disappointed. It was an egg tart, which is fine. I don't know that I would've paid nine dollars for an egg. I feel like that was excessive. I also felt a little bullied by the girl checking me out that I had to leave a tip just the way it was presented to me again, I think the stars are because it was super cute and I know there's a lot of hard work that was put into this. It's a beautiful location. The desserts look great, but if you can see in my picture of the Dubai chocolate tart, it was definitely lacking in any flavor of chocolate or pistachio or really anything at all it was just a very overpriced nine dollar egg cart nine dollar and change because of the way that I was very uncomfortably reminded and asked three times to Tip again it looks like a lot of love went into this. This review is not meant to hurt the business but if this is the way that they're going to run with nothing available, I have Grace that it was a new weekend grand opening I have Grace that everybody there's new but they were not very friendly. Not very receptive to people being excited about being there waiting in line. There's a lot of people that drove from very far. I think there were some girls that said they drove from Irvine just to come overall not a great experience could not taste the chocolate really at all unless I was just scraping it off the top it had no consistency against the egg tart which was overpowering it and that just means there just was not enough chocolate at all. It was just like a light glaze. I would be open to coming back, but I think that they have a lot more work to do to get this going very beautiful location to the owners very nice looking pastries that were available but so far the flavor just isn't there. I think this is another Instagram hyped place.

Yelp
Great location Beautiful environment Nice food! Recommend! A good place to meet up in Beverly Hills

Yelp
Service was amazing, they gave out free samples at the front door! Love the storefront and all the pastries were displayed well. Food was insane!! High quality and definitely a standout among the LA/OC bakeries. MUST VISIT!

Yelp
Their pastries are phenomenal, but I'm not crazy about their drinks. Their matcha tasted salty, and their pistachio was bitter. I mean I have been to hundreds of coffee/boba shops, and these were not really my likings. Inside of the shop was really nice, but the outside was so dirty. Still cannot believe why Beverly Hills could be so dirty. It didn't look like anyone cleans the outside of the shop. I was sneezing and itching the whole time in line. :(

Yelp
Very nice place and good service with a beautiful view. Pastry was fresh and fluffy. I tried a pistachio snail roll and it was delicious! Highly recommend!!!
