"Founded in Hong Kong in 2012 and now based in Chengdu, this Asian bakery will open its first U.S. location in Beverly Hills on July 17. It has expanded to 60 stores across China and is opening in partnership with Chubby Group, which operates restaurants including Niku X, Chubby Cattle, and Chubby Curry. The signature lineup of French- and Asian-inspired sweets includes delicate, buttery croissants stuffed with molten chocolate lava or wagyu beef; tarts that go beyond the classic custard with flavors like strawberry, pistachio, and chocolate; and sweet and savory toasts topped with red bean, meat floss, pork jerky, and coconut." - Rebecca Roland
