What an oily mess! I'm honestly stunned. I don't know how so many people can walk into a restaurant, consume 3 bottles of olive oil and leave a 5 star review. Every piece was just absolutely DRENCHED in oil. For the low price of $80! (2x pizzas with pork topping, 1x side salad). I'm ashamed that this is considered great pizza, but for the price and pretentious atmosphere described I'm even more ashamed people are spending money here. Save your $77 for a flight to Joe's pizza on Broadway in NYC - you'll spend $3.00 for better pizza. Pizza: 2/5 (crust was pretty okay, and ingredients were fresh enough. Too much salt in the pork sausage though) Salad: 3/5 decent, but uninspired. Use of Brewers yeast was appreciated and appropriate. Also a little heavy on the salt. Service: 4/5 we entered for pickup only, the staff were polite and helpful. I didn't sense a pretentious attitude from the staff as described in other reviews. Can't comment beyond that as we didn't eat in. Overall: 2/5 The staff didn't come off as pretentious and the salad was okay, but for the price this place IS pretentious. Pretentious is okay, but you have to back up your product. Maybe you should get your blood pressure checked after your meal here...

This restaurant is very quaint and delicious. The Portions are a little small for the price, but the quality more than makes up for it. The service was very prompt and the dishes were spaced out perfectly. The moment you walk in you are greeted with amazing smells and a perfect atmosphere. (The oysters are Delicious)

We LOVED this place. Excellent atmosphere both Inside and out. As it was a gorgeous, nearly fall day, we chose to sit outside. Our service was warm, welcoming and just fun. We ordered an eggplant dish and a salad to start. Oh my gosh, the vegetables were so fresh you could taste it! (Garden fresh) We shared a pizza. While the toppings were nice, it was the sourdough crust that we loved. Worth going! Don't miss it.

We didn't expect such high end food in this town. The service and the atmosphere were nice, but the vittles are worth the ferry ride. Our party loved the carrots on smoked yogurt especially. "The Kevin" pizza will be a treat for pizza purists, and the oyster mushroom dish and the kale-radicchio salad were super unique and flavorful. The food is made to order by a small staff, so don't be in a hurry.

Yummy! So glad we chose to eat here on our too short trip to Orcas. There were other spots that looked good, but we liked the idea of small share plates of salads and veggies plus pizza. We were not disappointed! We shared the salad which was a heaping pile of fresh greens and the grilled carrots over yogurt. Both were great. Salad would have been better with something crunchy on top like nuts, seeds, or breadcrumbs but still good. We ordered two pizzas since my husband didn't want to share one and he ate 7 slices! He had the cheese pizza and I had the potato, peppers, kale pesto one. I loved mine especially with the hot honey on top. Mmm that stuff was good! The crust was chewy and perfectly cooked. Service was fabulous. Loved the decor inside and the locally made cider topped it off. We will be back for sure!

Wish I was able to provide a higher rating as the food was really good, but given that the overall experience was sub-par, I'm hard pressed. We went in at 5pm when they opened and was asked to come back at 6:45pm. Understandable, as all the tables might have been reserved. Killed time around town and came back at 6:45pm. Got seated after a short wait and placed the order at about 6:50pm. Simple order of 1 salad and 3 pizzas. Then the wait started and went on till about 7:50pm. The wait staff was courteous but never once came by to let us know status of the food. Looking at the open kitchen, I can see the problem. There was only 1 cook, 1 greeter and 1 waiter running the whole restaurant. Basically, the management of the restaurant decided to cost costs and limited staff. While it is a reasonable strategy in off season, it's terrible deal for the customers whose experience is awful. The couple next table looked pretty dreary eyed in hunger as well. It would have been more efficient to have 2 cooks and 1 wait staff (wait. .does that make it too many cooks in the kitchen? ;)). Once ther pizzas came, we were delighted with the taste. Amazing ingredients with a perfect crust (or, were we too hungry by then to judge effectively? ;)). I may give it another shot if and when I am back there again. Adios.

Tiny dining room, so be sure to make a reservation. We went on shoulder season, so most restaurants are only opened on Thurs thru Sun. Small menu, but everything is very well prepared. We had the kale salad which was dressed just right and corn with padron pepper pizza. Dessert was house made buttermilk ice cream with corn husk sprinkles. You can tell the chef really cared about the quality of the food that's being served. Plenty of options for vegetarians. Service was great.

Extremely pretentious waitress - My dining partner and I immediately were uncomfortable and felt judged. Asked for salt and pepper - she banged the salt down and said "no pepper - it's not locally sourced" well- your rhubarb marinated in tomato water on smoked yogurt was so bitter it needed salt. Raw rhubarb is nasty. Now we know. We wouldn't dare have sent it back. Well, the pen you gave me to pay the tab was a bic pen- pretty sure that was made by a kid in a sweat shop- Lose the better than thou attitude

Had a delicious dinner here in August while visiting friends in Eastsound. The service was impeccable--courteous, informative and fun--and the food was even better. While pizza may not sound elegant in principle, here it is to vehicle for great flavors and technique. Don't forget the starters which is where the chef's talent also shines.

Food is remarkable, chef Jay is excellent. Service is island style, but very friendly. Wine list is a work in progress as of this review, but the selection I had was sublime. In general, expect the unexpected. Ambiance is chill, neighborhood place, but the food is next level good. Wear your hat and shorts, but expect 4/5 star culinary execution. Reservations recommended. Small five seat bar for walk ups. Lots of outside seating. Pizza takeaway also an option.

We have been here over a few years. As others have noted things here seem to be going down hill. The backyard has broken tables everywhere. No dogs allowed. No take out. Two pizza options. 1 hour ten min to pizzas. Pizza was good. Lots of pre-dinner apps that mostly don't hit the mark. Summer squash was watery/tiny. Hybrid serve yourself model with 20% gratuity added mandatory above 5 party. Just honestly not a great option anymore. Used to feel much "homier"

Had 2 shared plates the scallops (good) and the grilled strawberries with mozzarella mouse. The strawberry dish was awful but she took it off the tab. Had to struggle to find the berries and it was like a glop of sour cream only more sour with a gritty dirt-like topping. As for the pizza, well, it's just cheese pizza so this place should get over itself.

A must if you are in Orcas! This little spot is unassuming, but you will not be disappointed. The ambiance is cozy, warm and inviting. A great soundtrack of 80s-90s indie rock music in the background. It feels a little like you're in someone's living room and they are just around the corner finishing up dinner. What I loved about this spot was that they use all local, seasonal, fresh ingredients. So no, you won't get large pizza for $9.99! The portions are smaller than the dive bar down the street, but you are paying for the quality and the sustainable and environmentally friendly way they run this restaurant. Go in knowing you will spend a little more than a typical pizza joint. You know you're money is going toward local farmers and producers. You can feel good about supporting that! We got the raw oysters first- they were so pretty and delicate, served on a bed of cold beach rocks. Then we had two pizzas, one unusual tomatillo pizza and one simple red sauce and goat cheese. The tomatillo pizza was excellent, tangy, and full of flavor with cilantro. The simple pizza was a nice contrast and was perfectly seasoned with herbs. Both were made with the best crust I've ever had, stretchy homemade sourdough baked in a wood fire oven. I hardly ever get dessert, as I usually just want another glass of wine or something salty, but we had to indulge here. The options all sounded delicious so we went with the hazelnut ice cream with pumpkin. It was light and savory, perfect for after this meal. The service was great too, everyone was so kind. I can't wait to go back!

Simply spectacular. The attention to detail, creativity, and quality in every aspect of the restaurant makes this an incredible find. My parents have been coming here several times over the past few months and have raved about it but this was my first time visiting. It was a warm summer night, and all the seating was outside, at picnic tables arranges around a terraced back yard. A highlight of the menu is their focus on natural wines and vegetable forward cuisine, so we were very excited to see what new dishes and drinks they had in the summer. We were interested in some wines from the Canary Islands, but disappointingly our waiter said he'd never tried them and couldn't offer any advice. We stared at him with a sort of "could you get someone who could" expression and he said, "Oh that would require me to bother my manager or the chef and they're very busy." We told him it would be great if he could get the manager to come over. Well Jocelyn came over and she was so lovely and so helpful, setting us up some Envínate wine made from Tinta Amarela. It was delicious and had a dark smoky flavor like the volcanic soil it was grown from. With Jocelyn's suggestions, we ordered their creative little gem lettuce bites, which came as fun finger food sections of lettuce head dusted with crushed hazelnut, crushed grilled potato with cheddar sauce which was savory and tasty, clams with fava shoots and radishes with "cream from last year's chilies". Everything was pretty small portions but really good. Then we moved on to pizza, and we had the Allium mushroom and cow cheese (with house raised pork add on) and the fresh and smoked cow and goat cheese pizza. Both were really rich and delicious and we especially enjoyed the combination of the mushroom and pork. With dessert we got a dry cider from vermont and then had a grilled milk ice cream with berries and hazelnut and rhubarb with conifer shoots ice. Both were good although the conifer shoot ice was a little weird (full disclosure I don't like flavored ice in general). Overall it was a really special, wonderful meal. Definitely pricy, good for a celebration, but you can also just come in and grab a pizza (even to go!) which is something I'll definitely keep in mind in the future.

I want to set the stage and set expectations first, because I'm about to tell you that this was my favorite meal of 2019, and quite possibly my favorite meal of the least several years. And you're going to expect sparklers and firecrackers and confetti--but just stick with me as I set the expectation before telling you about an incredible meal I had here last December. Hogstone's is a small, cozy, intimate little restaurant on Orcas Island. The island has a rich agricultural heritage, and though it's not an agricultural powerhouse, there are some innovative people doing back-to-the-earth things here. So it's the perfect kind of small place for food from the land and food on the plate to meet together in harmony. It's a place where creative farmers and creative chefs could marry their two passions and come up with some exquisite experiences. Orcas Island is also an island, after all, and you can always expect to pay more for things here--groceries, gas, hardware--it all comes at a premium. Now, if you combine very detailed culinary work with highly creative chefs and experimental techniques, with an already elevated cost of living, you're not going to get a cheap meal. Hogstone's is not a stuff-your-face pizza joint. It's not an all you can eat buffet. It's not a value by the pound restaurant. Those businesses have their place (who doesn't love a pizza spot with cheese dripping from each slice and crusts for days?) but don't come here expecting that. No, this is a place where the ancient spirits of farmers past whisper their secrets to an inspired chef who dreams about maritime tradition, wild oyster beds, and sings the songs of ancient peoples who first inhabited this land and ate of its bounty. It's where that music still rings out today, blending into harmonies of sea and garden, line and land, net and nest. These melodies are short, sweet, and unforgettable. Those melodies are rare, and hard to produce, so don't expect bowls brimming with massive amounts of food. Oh, you can get full if you order that way, but this is more about coming to taste and experience. We embraced this philosophy and let our taste buds take part in the centuries-old song of dinner. Leeks and brussels sprouts were the first to hit the table, and it was a savory dish with just enough fat to complement the earthy flavors of both of those veggies. The came the treviso--the sauce was acidic and bright, and even though this radicchio variety is said to be more mild, it was still bitter and given a long roast on the grill. In the end, the bitterness won out, but the flavors all together were fulfilling if you're into that bitterness. The second-most surprise hit of the night was the potato, pickled shallot, shaved cured egg pizza. I say the second-most, because I do love a good pizza and this combination sounded good, but it came off even better in our hands. Pickled shallots added a brightness and acidity, potatoes left a savory and fulfilling texture, and the shaved egg added just a hint of salt and fat I haven't experienced before in my life. The real star of the show was the half pheasant. A little sweet, a little sticky, and the thing that I will think about most is actually the cabbage dish that accompanied it. I have no idea what it had with it, but it was hypnotic. We had the pleasure to sit at the "bar" area that faces the kitchen and watch Jay work. Here's a guy who seems super humble, despite the massive accolades and national recognition, and who, on a whim, decided to plate our meal right in front of us and talk about the components. He didn't have to. He didn't even have to be there at all--some successful chefs leave it to staff on the daily--but he truly delighted in composing the plate and talking to us about it. Some moments you wish could last forever. This night, just a few before the new year, we chatted with staff about their passion, their upcoming ventures (hooray for a permanent space for the tasting menu nights) and we reveled in the good food and cozy atmosphere. Glasses clinked. Guests drank and laughed. The kitchen buzzed. And there we were, just held in suspension, somewhere in the song between the ancient worlds of old sailors and new crop.

I haven't written a Yelp review in ages, but the pizza at Hogstone is so incredible that I decided I need to break my silence. During a rainy New Years stay on Orcas Island, we decided to treat ourself to a higher end takeout meal. I ordered the tomato and herb pie (vegan) while he ordered the pork sausage pie with mozzarella and pickled shallots. Both were out of this world. Both my partner and I don't understand how Hogstone can combine tomatoes + olive oil + bread and make something THAT insanely tasty. Yeah, it's pricey, but we think it's absolutely worth it. The pies hold up surprisingly well in the pandemic-enduced takeout setting. The pints of ice cream are also fascinatingly delicious, not too sweet, and easy to enjoy at home. We can't wait to go back!

Time for a review update! Yes I'm still giving Hogstone 4 stars, but the circumstances were quite different this visit (aka Covid). Hogstone was just doing pickup, so we called in ahead of time (a little after 5?) on a Sunday to place our order. We were given a time to gather the goods (6:15ish) then patiently waited while sipping some wine out on our deck. No complaints. Our three pizzas and three appetizers were ready a few minutes after the designated pickup time, then we drove the short distance back to our vacation home. Needless to say I was excited for some gourmet cheesy carbs. For pizzas, we went with the "Tomato" ($14) which my mostly vegan sister ordered. The 12" diameter pie was topped with tomato sauce, slivers of onion and garlic, plus fresh herbs, of course. I did not try this option, although my sister seemed to enjoy it enough and was happy a vegan pizza was on the actual menu. I went with the "Quickly Pickled Summer Squash" ($24) topped with Hay smoked goat cheese and scallions. I'm not a huge fan of smoked food items in general, although the smokey flavor wasn't toooo overpowering. The squash pizza needed something else to balance out the flavors (to suit my taste), so I came up with a quick solution--more on that later. My mom chose the "Roasted Stupice Tomato" ($26) topped with fresh sweet corn, pickled fennel, mozzarella and aged ladysmith... which I believe is a type of cheese. This pizza was the best out of the two I tried. The flavors were well balanced and it was simply good. These pizzas are best consumed right away, when fresh and hot, so keep that in mind when ordering. Because there were four of us splitting dinner, we also decided to order three appetizers. We chose to get two orders of the "Smashed, Chilled & Marinated Cucumbers" ($13) served with hazelnut "condiment" and grilled berry sauce. Okay damn this was tasty. It was fresh, crunchy, creamy, nutty, sweet, and savory all in one tiny to-go container. Yes the serving size is SMALL so thankfully we ordered two. It is definitely a bit pricey for the amount of food you get, so if you're on a budget just stick to ordering pizza. We also went with a mushroom appetizer, also delightful. The sauce on the mushrooms was luscious so don't let any of that go to waste... I was dipping pizza crusts right up in there and also spooned some of the mushrooms on top of the squash pizza, highly recommend that combo. Is this the best pizza I've had? No but it's good and I always appreciate the usage of local, seasonal ingredients. The bill can get a bit pricey if you go for other menu items, as tasty as they are.

Visited Orcas Island to escape work and Seattle for the weekend. I wasn't sure we would find a good dining experience on small island but we're always down for an adventure. We love pizza so we had to try this spot. Of course no dine in, because COVID, so we dropped in to order take out. We waited at least 30 mins for the food. We order two margherita pizzas (our fav) and the fried chicken. The margherita was ok, nothing to write about but the fried chicken surprised me, very flavorful, moist, and crispy. It was the best part of the meal.

This place is crazy in the summer so we do not stop in. But a nice Sunday in March is a good time to go. The staff is not so harried, the food is often more experimental and the vibe is wonderful as these folks figure out what they have and how they want to cook it. On our most recent visit we had an elaborate beet dish which included apple cider ice and last summer's pickles. It was followed by a superb charred cabbage that had been frequently basted with a plum reduction. It was nutty, charred and seeet all at once. And then we had a smoked tomato pizza with pork followed by a fir mousse. All these dishes were inventive, tasty and a joy to ponder. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely caring that you have a great experience. The place is fun in the summer but to really appreciate it come when the crowds are gone. A WARNING: like many Island establishments Hogstone closes for part of the off season so make sure you check when they will be open before heading over.

Hands down best crab roll I've ever had, only complaint is I wish it was a little bit bigger but understandable since it's only $20. I say make the sandwich bigger and charge $30 for it. But honestly I'll probably just order two next time, it was so insanely good. The mushroom pizza was easily one of the best pizzas my husband and I have ever had. So flavorful and cooked just perfectly. Unfortunately the squash one I didn't care for much. Tasted way too smokey. We will definitely be back for the crab roll and mushroom pizza!!

What just happened... how did we spend $70+ for a "meal" that left all of us starving? One appetizer was (truly delicious! but) essentially one brussel sprout, a small piece of shaved leek, and an egg for $16. Between the three of us, that was approximately one bite each. $15 for a tiny plate of potatoes and cheese, and the oysters were $3 each. I'm happy to throw down that kind of dough for a filling meal, but we all left the table still very hungry. It was disappointing and frustrating. The menu should be much more clear that the "plates" are only tastes. I've been here at least 3 times in the past years... and have never felt so cheated. I would have certainly given Hogstone 5 stars in the past, and have recommended it to friends visiting the island. Has something changed?? Everything was good and the pizza was good, I'm just feeling very bitter and like a sucker.

What a lovely, intimate restaurant! I visited this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend and it definitely lived up the rave reviews! It was a cold, rainy evening and I was looking for something to warm me up and wood-fired pizza seemed like a great option! As soon as I walked in, the cozy, warm, and inviting ambiance drew me in even more! The service was spectacular and extremely attentive. I decided to start my meal with their house oysters and they did not disappoint! They were topped with this mignonette and I could have eaten a dozen on my own! For my main course, I settled on the cow cheese, goat cheese, and herbs pizza. Each pizza is 12 in, thin-crust, beautifully crafted, and topped with fresh ingredients! From start to finish, I was impressed. Next time I'm in orcas, I will definitely be back! Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed!

Never had pizzas so rich in taste. We ordered 2 different pizzas and both were amazing. We literally ate alternate slices so that we could enjoy the taste more. I am a fan of thin crust and this was the lightest pizza I ever had. Great ambiance and great service. Dessert was a delight too. Highly recommended. I see myself driving to Orcas from Seattle just for this place in future.

Great pizza- we had the mushroom pizza. It was superb. Great service- I appreciate how well the restaurant communicated pick up times and protocols to keep everyone safe This place loses a star because of the Brussels sprouts. We ordered them tonight. For $15 we got 10, undercooked sprouts. I would recommend against ordering them.

A truly perfect pizza and, thanks to no indoor seating, a truly perfect view a couple blocks away in the park overlooking the water. My fiancé and I are super carnivorous people, but the two pizzas we enjoyed were vegetarian and we couldn't have been happier. This place is a MUST GO if your visiting, and if you love there... count yourself lucky!

Hogstone's delivers everything I love and miss about eating out. I picked up my food to-go and walked it back to our hotel. As soon as we started eating the wave of happiness set in with all the flavor sensations. Fingerling potatoes with the cheese dip of your dreams, radicchio salad, and mushroom pizza. We opened a bottle of red we saved for a special occasion. Indeed!

Very disappointed in service Made res for 5 pm ( we were tight on time) Showed up at 5 and staff was hanging out chatting at Bar as more and more people showed up to be seated. After 5 min of waiting with not a look from staff, we left. Again about 2 weeks later planned to come over to orcas for dinner Called and left a message we would like a 5:15 res on Friday eve Asked for someone to call us back to confirm. Called again on our way to say we were running a few min behind, no answer When we showed up the place was CLOSED!!! There was another couple that experienced the same thing here Forget this place , plus the only serve pizza out side so with rain coming , the place is off our list BTW they never called us back to apologize Guess they are more concerned with taking time off or BSing with each other than customer service

Really good. The Radicchio appetizer is the best interpretation of that vegetable I've tasted. And pizzas are great too. Yet another place in Orcas that is of a quality unexpected in a place this small.

While the Brussels sprouts and the smoked goat cheese pizza were okay, they weren't worth the price point. Very cute location that I'd like to visit in person after the pandemic is over, but wasn't overly impressed by the food.

Just get the pizza! Don't bother with the other menu! The other plates are really expensive for a small amount food. I paid 60 dollars for two crab sliders and a few pieces of fried chicken.

Great place for real good wood fired pizza. This place made my wife and I real happy. Just come knowing that they will serve you whatever they have in the garden at the time. Or whatever is locally available. I love that. If you want to taste authentic napolatina pizza, this is it. If you want to taste Orcas Island, this is it. Try the oysters, try the wine, love the time with your spouse or friends. And, order dessert...rock your world! Five stars would be a non-labor day weekend "game on" evening. Otherwise, spot on!

I get it. James Beard chef, kitschy and fun pork menu, great seating, spectacular wine list... Our experience was a bit different. Only three tables had any shade so be prepared to be cooked if the sun is out since heaven forbid they put an umbrella out. Menu: small plates section had two salads, oysters, and a cheese dip that they serve with wooden spoons but nothing to dip in it. And then pizzas, of which only one had any pork on it. We compensated by splurging on wines but left hungry. I would love to say this was an anomaly but same experience last year...

If I was reviewing just the pizza, this place is 5+ stars for sure! I tried 3 of their specialty pizzas and they were all amazing. My favorite by far was the pork, pickled chard, and onions pizza. The ingredients were so fresh and the crust is unbelievable!! So thin and crispy in the middle and then smokey and chewy around the edges. You can roll me in their pizza dough and I'll die happy. Such quality pizzas and they really are worth ~$15-20 each. I would trust any of their specialty pizzas. Really though, stick to the pizzas here. I was really unimpressed with the appetizer plate that I tried. It was two chunks of dungeness crab on top of a piece of kelp with a smear of sauce for $16. Tasty, but gone in two bites. I had a terrible experience with the service. I saw an empty table on my way in and was hoping to be seated there. The hostess told my boyfriend and I that there were no tables, so we ended up getting a pizza to go. A couple walked in two minutes after us and she seated them easily at the table we saw outside. It was frustrating to hear that, but we let it go and waited 30 minutes for our one to-go pizza. We came back again the next day and saw two empty tables outside. She told us that there were no available tables again. We let her know that we saw the empty tables before she wanted to seat us inside. I just wanted the entire experience of sipping a glass of wine on a picnic table with the perfect pizza next to the pile of chopped wood... is that too much to ask for?? Anyways, our actual server was exceptionally sweet and very accommodating. I'll definitely be back when I'm on Orcas again!

This a small place (more seating outside in good weather) with some very original wood-fired pizzas and a few small plates. There were 5 pizzas on the menu for our visit ranging from $15-25 (12"). Ours had smoked tomato and cured egg amongst its ingredients. The salad and local oysters we had to start were the freshest we've ever had. Service was good, though we did receive the wrong pizza to start, which was corrected. They are only open 3-4 days a week this time of year so check and make reservations. We will definitely go back next visit.

Honestly? One of the few places we visited on Orcas that understood layers of flavor! Finishing salt on the greens??? YES THANK YOU FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. Sure it's not "ideal" with COVID restrictions (having to call ahead, wait...), but what is? Wait for good food. It's fine. You have nothing else to do, you're on an island. Pizza was excellent, not swimming in layers of cheese and fat; only unadulterated, pure integrity of ingredients. Perfection. Just wish we'd found this earlier.

I cannot find appropriate words to describe how much I enjoyed our dinner here at Hogstone. We had fantastic wine, an INSANELY DELICIOUS chicken shareable plate, two pizzas which were beyond scrumptious... and the desert, which was one of the most delicious treats I've ever had. The service was FANTASTIC. We've eaten at Canlis And the Herbfarm, among other Seattle-foodie spots, and HANDS DOWN I would come here first if I had to pick. Friendly, welcoming, delicious. It was a memorable and wonderful meal. Thank you Hogstone!

Ok, not too much I can add to the existing commentary, but I will try and add context to the frequent comments of "small servings/expensive price" Example 1: Carrots. $9 for 3 small carrots sliced in half and topped with mini serving of smoked egg white. Maybe skip the smoking egg white and trim cost. It didn't add much. Oh, and did I mention the carrots were not cooked. Served crunchy raw. So hey you saved staff time not cooking. Example 2: blistered potatoes with cheese sauce. $12. 4 small melon ball size potatoes and a bit of melted cheese Example 3: Oysters on half shell. $3. About average In fairness thought, the flat bread pizza was average size for the price. So if i return, will order a couple of those.

Stopped by here for a quick dinner a few days ago. You order at the counter and they'll deliver your pizza to your table. You can see them making it at the back of the kitchen in a brick oven. They only have a few different pizza, slightly spendy for the one size they offer (about dinner plate size). We ordered 2 pizzas - I think the dough was good and the toppings are fresh and tasty. I knocked off one star for inconsistency though. One pizza was definitely undercooked while the other was perfectly cooked. I think it's a good choice if you're in the mood for pizza at Orcas.

It is really has nice food for a place like Orcas Island. Presentation was good, server was very friendly like he spent his time explaining us about the food we ordered. So if you want quality over quantity then this is the place as its unique in its own way, probably the Chef they have is a creative one :)
