"Holey Bagels are a staple of Noe Valley mornings with dense bready interiors and a light tang to each bite. There’s a variety of sandwiches to pick up if that’s what moves you, but otherwise, there’s a robust selection of schmears to bring home, including the typical chive or garlic and herb options, as well as sundried tomato or olive spreads to give your breakfast a little shakeup." - Dianne de Guzman

"If you’re someone who likes going for bagel flavors that are beyond the classic sesame, plain, or everything, head to Holey Bagel. They make spinach, sun-dried tomato, and chocolate chip bagels, to name a few. And not only are they built to break you out of your usual bagel routine, they’re all delicious. We especially love them with their housemade chive cream cheese, or as a fluffy egg sandwich." - Julia Chen

it’s a small no-frills place with great bagels. i’ve been going here since i was a baby so it has a special place in my heart. the place is located conveniently next to a lovely little cafe as well as a quaint neighborhood square with plenty of outdoor seating.

Bagel with lox was very good. High quality bagel and tomato. Usually not a fan of tomatoes, but I liked the ones they used. Also had a pretty good selection of soft drinks, which was nice. You can buy just lox or cream cheese from here, but it seemed pretty expensive. Very much a hole in the wall, but the decor was cute.

My favorite neighborhood bagel & breakfast stop. I always get their lox bagel sandwich and love that there are so many bagel flavors to choose from. The employees are so nice too. We love to stop here on our weekend morning walks, grab a bagel sandwich to go to eat at the tables across the street at Noe Valley Town Square.

I've had better bagels from the grocery store. Somehow my bagel with regular cream cheese was $5.95? Even though the sign has it priced differently. Bagel itself was super dense. With all the bagel options in SF now I'll have to pass on this one unfortunately.

The best bagel place in SF. Owner is very kind and a perfect representation of what makes downtown Noe so special. Highly recommend to anyone living in the area or stopping by!

Some of the BEST bagels you will ever put in your mouth!!! Friendly service, EXCELLENT bagels & supporting a locally owned business 👏. Give yourself a great gift and stop by here when you're in San Francisco. Forget corporately made lackluster food. Treat your palate well and enjoy the best bagels. I've eaten one almost every day while visiting SF & will be taking a bagful home 😋🙂💖
