Winter 2023: The Best Dishes Eater San Francisco Editors Ate This Week - Eater SF

"The reports of the mochi muffin have been greatly exaggerated, which is to say the flood of one-star reviews on Third Culture Bakery’s muffins came from a specific situation that has been, seemingly, ameliorated. Now, we can get back to the mochi — specifically, the mochi muffin and the Sunset Blend espresso combo at Home on Grant Street. There’s something wonderful about how the lively shot of coffee plays with the richness of the muffin, which is thick, chewy, and treated to a smattering of black sesame seeds on top, a fashionable choice given sesame’s current heyday. After one bite I understood the appeal: I always want more mochi, and the mochi muffin constitutes a veritable feast of the rice dessert. The espresso — a blend of coffees from Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Colombia that lives in between a medium and dark roast — counters the indulgent butteriness of the pastry with its acidity. No, the coffee’s not as juicy as a bourbon rosada varietal. But it’s a mighty well-dialed shot punching well above its weight on a street mostly devoid of primo coffee. Freda Yuan, a three-time United Kingdom coffee-tasting champion, compares a full tasting to a musical progression; I can safely say one of San Francisco’s favorite mochi muffins — paired with one of the city’s most well-tuned espressos — is as beautiful a symphony as they come." - Paolo Bicchieri

"If this coffee shop sounds familiar, it’s possible the Instagram algorithm has put their handiwork on your feed whether you realize it or not. Home Coffee Roasters Review - Sunset - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"This coffee shop in the Outer Sunset is surprisingly laid-back given that they serve vanilla lattes made to look like birthday cakes and rainbows. It’s also an ideal place to type away when you need good wifi and plenty of spacious tables. Seating is usually taken by San Francisco State students, especially during finals, and if that’s the case, prepare to share a table and make a friend with a complete stranger." - Lani Conway

Google
This little coffee roaster shop is so adorable. Located inside of Downtown San Francisco's Chinatown. Very clean inside. The menu is located on the wall, and no wait for us. We ordered and saw our drinks being made live. Many places to sit and enjoy inside. The manager made our drinks and she was so sweet. Delicious !!! Rainbow art Cappuccino Lavender Iced Latte - fantastic! Almond Croissant Home Coffee Beans!!

L N

Google
Tried the birthday cake latte, matcha latte, hot chocolate, Nutella hot chocolate and their avocado toast. They were all delicious. So much so that we came back 3 weekends in a row for these. The baristas are very welcoming, accommodating (made my birthday cake latte less sweet) and extremely talented. The peacock hot chocolate art was unreal.

Sonia Matos

Google
Friendly staff and delicious drinks/food! I wasn't sure if the rainbow latte would be good since it looks so pretty - but glad to say it was delicious! The avo-cuddle toast was also very yummy. I wish I was in town longer to go back again!

Mika Hale

Google
I go here a lot because of how much I love their drinks and pastries! The interior is very pretty too and I just love how nice their staffs are. I highly recommend getting the Holy Cow (iced) for it's sweetness and Cookie Monster (iced) for a good balance of bitterness and sweetness. Their almond croissant is always good esp when they heat it up for you and it just pairs so well woth the drinks. I'm hoping to try more of their drink and food menu!

Google
I’ve been to this cafe several times and it never disappoints. I absolutely LOVED my coconut vanilla latte and banana walnut bread. My sisters loved their avocado toasts and said it’s one of the best she’s ever had! 😋😍☕️🥑 Can’t wait to come here again!

Google
If your chasing an Aussie Coffee than this is the place to go. Blends are beautiful!! The manager/owner was very accomodating. Ask for a Latte if you want a 12oz and Add an extra shot for Aussie strength. Still best coffee we have had for two weeks.

Judy Baik

Google
Loved the sea salt caramel latte! Perfect sweetness and saltiness. I do not recommend matcha latte, it just tasted like whole milk with a hint of matcha. Vibe was good, but the employees weren’t to the point i would say they were nice or welcoming

Andrew Elegante

Google
Super cute coffee shop with a expansive menu of interesting latte options, including one with a rainbow in the latte art. My art was actually a little sloppy but the two women I sat next to had very nice art. I had the coconut vanilla latte. A little sweet for my tastes. One of the women had the mushroom latte which I will probably try next time. Avocado toast was so good. Perfect refill after my rambling walk+run+yoga. There are 2 other options including a Korean style with kimchi which isn't my thing but maybe it's yours. They had some really good looking pastries including some kind of mochi muffin I will try next time. Lots of different kinds of seating and a bathroom. Pretty swanky in SF to be honest

Yelp
This is probably my new go to cafe in the area :) First of all, I love the vibes here - lots of natural light, as well as seating meant for individuals as well as groups of 2-4. I like that if I were to come here on my own, I don't feel like I'm taking up a spot that a group could be using. Service is also exceptional, and the staff here are all very friendly. I love when you can tell they've gotten to know the regulars that come in. Most importantly, the items I ordered were delicious! The Holy Cow, which is a condensed milk latte, was fantastic. No bitterness at all but not at all overly sweet. Perfect amount of foam on top, and the size of the latte was perfect. The Let's Avo-Cuddle Toast was also yummy - a bit on the smaller size, but I've come to accept that if I'm ordered avocado toast when I'm out, it's going to be a bit of a splurge anywhere lol. The toast wasn't anything that I wouldn't be able to make at home on my own, but I did appreciate that it was on a thick piece of sourdough!

Yelp
(Review from half a year ago) Probably a good specialty latte spot, though I wasn't too impressed by the espresso itself in the macchiato. So recommend to go for a fancy flavored latte, which looked good. Nice vibes here, and service was nice as well. (Rating 4 instead of the 3 I'd give for the espresso because it seems kind of obvious that this place is well known for the speciality stuff.)

Yelp
This place is racist. I wanted to try one of their birthday cake vanilla lattes. I stood at the register waiting to order my drink. I was completely ignored for the 3 minutes I was standing there. For $7, maybe I dodged a bullet. If you are black, stay away as they do not want us here.
google avatar

Caili C.

Yelp
I ordered the Godzilla which is an unsweetened sparking matcha and it was the perfect light pick-me-up. I appreciated the strong matcha flavor how refreshing it is. There are some small individual seats inside as well as a couple of larger communal tables. It definitely gets busy so not the best place to plan to stay for a bit.
google avatar

Judy M.

Yelp
Love when I come across indi coffee shops. Been here twice and I've enjoyed the coffee and the vibes both times. The workers seemed super friendly, but I actually liked to use the kiosk to order because I could explore what else they had on the menu (it had photos). Would definitely come back if I'm near by.

Yelp
I was prepared to fully hate on this place because it is a cute, trendy spot that is packed with folx. I suspected it would be overrated. However, I am very pleased to report the offer is worth it. That said, I still have some issues with this place The interior is beautifully decorated, it's not a comfortable place to sit and mindfully drink coffee. All seating is either plastic or wooden. And if you come during a busy period (we came at 10 AM), most of the tables + surfaces to eat on are either taken or dirty from previous customers.
google avatar

Karene C.

Yelp
I specifically went here to see their beautiful latte art. It did not disappoint. The birthday cake latte is gorgeous. The flavor of both of our drinks was so good! You can't find order at the counter or at a screen. I liked the space. It was easy to be comfortable. Especially with just 2 of us. Will definitely return!

Yelp
Went on a trip to SF and a friend recommended this spot to me. Unfortunately I left unsatisfied :( I stopped by on a Saturday morning and it wasn't busy. It was street parking but we had no issues finding a spot. The shop itself was clean and had lots of tables, there were some small groups sitting together eating breakfast. The employees were very nice! We ordered an iced matcha with oat and a chocolate croissant. The matcha was not good, too much milk. I prefer matchas stronger. The employees also forgot about heating up my chocolate croissant but they apologized after I reminded them. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing and should've gotten a coffee.

Yelp
SF has many great cafes, but Chinatown has few, with folks there preferring tea. As an espresso addict, Home is my home away from home. I recommend the Nutella latte, which came with perfectly beautiful foam art. Service is smiley and on point. The food menu is plenty for a coffeehouse: 3 types of avocado toast. The style overall is very modern and cool, with mostly long bench or counter seats.

Yelp
I came here around 2pm to do some work at a coffee shop. It is such a small cute coffee shop with plenty of choices such as sweet lattes, espresso drinks, and an assortment of teas. When you order a bag of beans, you get either a drip coffee or cold brew! I opted for the cold brew and it taste pretty good, very light flavor. I also got a toasted ham and Gruyère cheese croissant, which I enjoyed! The service was quick and the baristas were friendly. One thing I did not like that much was that they do not have AC, so it was quite warm while I was sitting in there working. I saw that they have an ube latte. I'll have to try that next time since I love sweet drinks!
google avatar

Scott H.

Yelp
Entirely mediocre. I don't quite get the ultra high reviews. One of the baristas was super nice and very helpful. Another one said while I was standing in line I'll get to you when I can. You can use the kiosk. Coffee was okay, but no nonshat milk. Mochi muffin was good. I enjoyed the ambience. Nice, bright, open, and modern. Tiny tables with electric plugs.
google avatar

Tessa D.

Yelp
I personally love Home Cafe on Grant Street. Their ube mochi muffins are super delicious, while also having a verity of different pastries. Some of their pastries are mochi based, also for gluten free options. They have a good variety of coffee. The service is quick. The ambiance is super cute and feels cozy. If you want coffee or pastries in the morning or early afternoon I would suggest home cafe!
google avatar

Yelp
I have been avoiding Chinatown for the last few years, and all of a sudden it's this hip and trendy place with artisanal coffee! My husband and I are super picking about our coffee, espresso, and loved the coffee and cappuccino we had from here. Lots of sweet/flavored drinks as well- got my kids the matcha latte, which could be customized to milk type and sweetness level. I also loved how cute the cups were!!! I would've bought a whole pack of them if they were on sale. Otherwise, the space is open/modern, a bit sparse. Could use a bit more seating though.

Yelp
From the guys brewing the much needed coffees to drinks themselves, it was all 5 stars. Home Coffee came to our office for a caffeinated morning treat during a conference and were the hit of the week. They had a special drinks menu that was oh so tempting and everyone's drinks came out so picture perfect. Lots of different fun lattes to choose from like a pistachio latte, rose latte or carnival latte. All confirmed with espresso and I only heard amazing things. They had all of the alt milks and made sure to double check everyone's order before getting started. Everything was brewed right there after ordering, and on top of that, they latte art was pretty spectacular. I just got my usual oat milk latte but that did not stop them from creating the cutest frothy bear in my foam. One of those too cute to even drink situations. (I did eventually bid adieu to my latte bear after a few photos and I can confirm it was a perfect oat latte). They also left us with iced lattes for a break later on in the day and we are all eternally gratefully.

Yelp
Such pretty and delicious coffee! Home Coffee recently brought their cart out to a conference I was attending. I started the day off with their rainbow latte. Both beautiful and tasty with it's vanilla notes. Later on I tried out their iced caramel latte which also didn't disappoint. If you are looking for coffee "catering" definitely consider Home Coffee Roasters!
google avatar

Yelp
My sister had wanted to try this coffee shop since spotting it last time we were in the area. When we walked in, it was pretty busy. Most tables were taken and a handful were waiting for their coffee orders. I decided to get an iced matcha while my sister got an iced rose latte. The matcha was fantastic while my sister's latte was just okay. The espresso was a bit light for our preference. They do have a hot latte that they make colorful latte art with. But it's a very sweet drink so my sister didn't order it. It's not a bad option if you're walking around Chinatown and need a little caffeine.
google avatar

Dominic B.

Yelp
Got to experience Home Coffee during a conference in which they provided a mobile coffee cart with made to order drinks. Very impressive setup for a mobile coffee cart complete with beans ground to order. Multiple coffees to choose from including carnival latte, pistachio latte, rose latte, double espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, latte, mocha, and non-coffee options like hot chocolate and chai latte. Milk options include whole oat, and almond. Very diverse and dietarily accessible menu. Incredibly friendly staff and the perfect way to start the morning. Pistachio latte - really delicious, lightly sweet with a wonderful pistachio flavor that wasn't overpowering either. Topped with stunning latte art and pistachio crumbs.

Yelp
This is a cute coffee shop in Chinatown. We came here while visit and I was so excited to try the coffee! It was very close to our hotel so very convenient. When we got there, there was a pretty long line, out the door. So I was a little surprised but knew we must be in the right place! The line didn't take long though. We ordered the coconut latte and birthday cake latte. The service was very nice and quick. I think the art was beautiful. We enjoyed our drinks. I like my coffee very which is unusual so I think these were both what most people would expect of a normal flavored sweet latte. I'm so glad we got to try these!
google avatar

Zarifa A.

Yelp
I was in need for some caffeine and decided to stop by to pick some up. If you're a latte fan, come here!! They offer a variety of different unique lattes here like red velvet and cookie monster. I opted to get a matcha latte here and really enjoyed it!! One thing I really appreciate is that they offer to customize the level of sweetness in your latte. I went for less sweet and thought it was perfect. The matcha taste in it was really strong which I enjoyed. Also, the latte art was on point!! The store itself is really modern and aesthetic--I really liked the vibes here. There's plenty of seating so it would be the perfect place to work, study, or catch up with a friend. Service here was friendly as well. Overall, I really liked this coffee spot and would recommend it!
google avatar

Mikhala F.

Yelp
Home did a pop-up at our work conference, and it was an absolute hit! They had so many delicious lattes and options to pick from, and it was a lovely way to start the morning. Service from the team was great - they took down orders and made a list (since there were so many) so they could get to them all throughout the morning. Their little pop-up booth was darling! They had some stunning signature lattes like their rainbow one with intricate latte art and detailing. As a non-coffee drinker, I opted for their chai and it was delicious. The team was so friendly as they took our orders and prepped the MANY drinks. Thank you so much for being a part of our work conference!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice open coffee shop with reasonable seating. Really friendly and helpful counter staff. Had a cookie butter latte and a cold brew. Perfectly fine but nothing special.
google avatar

Yelp
I visited for the first time during COVID lockdown, back when indoor dining was closed. They made me this beautiful birthday cake latte below. I just returned today on a bustling a Saturday morning, delighted to see indoor dining has reopened, plus there is a clean, single stall bathroom open again for customer use (sink and mirror located outside of the bathroom). Service looks fast and friendly as always.

Yelp
This a nice gem of a coffee shop in the middle of Chinatown. The interior is very artsy and gives hipster vibes. The baristas were very nice and my coffee was made pretty quickly. The ube latte I ordered was very smooth and not too sweet. It really helped start my day!
google avatar

Daisy G.

Yelp
Yummy coffee. did a quick pickup for Cookie Monster and lavender latte. It was a good way to start the day!
google avatar

Rachel K.

Yelp
We were staying in a hotel nearby and searched for a coffee shop within walking distance on Yelp. As soon as we saw Home Coffee Roasters, we knew this was the spot. We were greeted by the staff and the cafe was clean, bright and welcoming. After seeing photos, I knew I needed to try the Birthday Cake Latte. The rainbow latte art is so unique and fun and the latte itself was delicious. My husband had an iced chai that was also tasty and we enjoyed sipping our drinks there in a window seat. They also had some avocado toast options and some pastries available for sale. There was plenty of seating here and I could see this being a great spot for a date, to meet with friends or to get some work or studying done.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
Love the latte art and unique flavors they have here. Got birthday cake latte which tasted like vanilla cake with sprinkles! Cozy and cute interior, good for catch ups with friends. Would love to come back and try more lattes!

Yelp
Nice coffee shop in the area of Union Sq. The baristas are cool and quick and amicable. I havent had any of the food but they do have a creative menu.

Yelp
Home Coffee Roasters sent me straight into cuteness overload. It serves delicious, quality coffee with unique, seasonal flavors. We came here on a Saturday morning and were able to nab two seats at the table to do some work, and it was packed! Such a popular place for friends to gather and for people to get some work done. We ordered not one--but two rounds of caffeinated drinks, starting with the Nutella coffee (nutty and not too sweet, albeit a little too subtle on the Nutella flavor, in my opinion as a staunch hazelnut coffee fan) and the jasmine tea latte (which is different from the jasmine latte). The jasmine tea was delicious, fragrant, and dainty, served with foamy milk. We paired the drinks with kimchi avocado toast, which was delicious but slightly pricey for just one slice of bread. Since we were there for a few hours, we ordered a second round of beverages, including the sea salt caramel latte (which was my absolute favorite, for the reason that it is super sweet) and an organic matcha latte (which simply did not disappoint!). Street parking was simple, and the cafe was easy to find. The store is very spacious and sells merchandise in line with the theme of roasting home coffee. There are even tote bags, sweaters, and bags of coffee beans for sale. Tucked away in the corner is a display of sweet pastries to complement your drink. My advice is to get here early, as there are limited seats. And also bring a jacket! As in the winter, they keep the door to the cafe open, and it got quite cold while sitting inside. All in all, this is a very solid coffee place in Chinatown.

Ms LaLa D.

Yelp
Found this place here on YELP while visiting San Francisco. What attracted us here was the UBE LATTE. We went on a Thursday mid morning and it was consistent with customers. We decided on Ube Latte and Mocha Latte. Very tasty and they have cute areas to sit at. We happen to meet the Co-owners fiancé who was so nice and shared a little history of the cafe. I definitely recommend.
google avatar

Nadia J.

Yelp
They need to have a sign asap that says, order a kiosk otherwise you think you're standing in line while others are standing at the kiosk until someone tells you to wait for them to finish helping in the kitchen or order a kiosk. Definitely confusing. I got a condensed cream iced coffee and avocado toast. Both were just ok, nothing to right home about. The place appeals to a younger crowd (I'm in my early 30's) and the wait is an average of 15-25 mins for coffee plus food. So it's not somewhere you'd grab a quick cup and be on your way. The toast itself wasn't bad, the bread was actually pretty good. Don't think I'd be back unless I walked by and the place was completely empty. It seems like the trendier coffees are pretty popular though! Birthday cake, Nutella etc.
google avatar

Rani S.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning to catch up with a couple friends and had an amazing experience coming here! It is located in the heart of Chinatown and there are a good amount of bus lines so it wasn't too difficult to bus here but I could imagine parking in this area would be a bit hectic. The menu has so many drinks I am interested in trying so I will definitely be back to try more, but the birthday cake latte immediately caught my eye because of the rainbow latte art and I generally love cake batter lattes. The drink did not disappoint and the croissant was good as well. In terms of seating, there is a moderate amount but we were still able to easily find a place to sit on a weekend. There was also no line to order so that was nice!
google avatar

Crystal N.

Yelp
We were staying at The Ritz-Carlton and Home Coffee Roasters was one of the nearest coffee shops so we walked down the steep streets to start our day. All of the girls working behind the bar were so friendly and it was awesome to watch them work meticulously while creating our lattes. The café itself is very limited in seating so we decided to take the coffees to go but at least we got to admire the art and snap some pics before we placed the lids on. We would definitely return to try their other beverages. Plus, they are conveniently located next to Chinatown and Union Square.

Yelp
What a special treat! During a recent work trip to San Francisco, my teammates and I were surprised with the owners of Home Coffee Roasters to kick off our day. Yay! They were set up with a coffee cart offering a special menu in vibe with our carnival themed week of engagement. We had the option of multiple lattes including a rainbow carnival latte, a rich pistachio latte, a pretty rose latte and all of the other caffeinated delights that you could come to expect from the coffee pros. Seeing the guys prepare each drink with so much precision, focus and love was truly a joy to watch. For a few orders, I simply watched all of the steps that went into the drinks as they were grinding the beans onsite! Since they were with us for a spell, I was determined to try at least two coffees because, 1: I needed the energy, 2: they all looked so freaking cool. Lucky me, I succeeded. The carnival latte was my first and, wow. It wasn't super sweet or overbearing, but I still got a kick of vanilla along with those coffee beans. And it was adorable! The pistachio latte was my 2nd coffee after breakfast and it was delicious. I love pistachios so when I saw that they were grinding pistachios to put on top? I had to have one. I feel terrible because they also let me know that there's another portion of the drink that has pistachio infused in it with major tlc. It was just fantastic! Seriously an amazing treat to kick off the day by learning more about and indulging in this awesome business. Love a great local coffee shop to support - such a great taste of greatness!

Yelp
Great service! Cute interior. Unfortunately watered down coffee and matcha. However I thought they had great latte/hot cocoa art!
google avatar

Helena G.

Yelp
Love finding cafes to work at and this one is super spacious, with tables, wifi and all. They have so many fun/creative latte options (coconut vanilla, nutella, cookie monster, chocolate mint to name a few). They really do the most in terms of the latte art just take a look at the birthday cake one!! I've switched from getting ice lattes to hot just to have a bear latte design sometimes haha. They also have avocado toasts + pastries as well for a full rounded breakfast.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop in the middle of China Town. They dont do 2 percent so are currently attempting to make me something delicious using other options . Super excited to try, the staff is super sweet!!! Recommend even if just for the kindness

Yelp
Absolutely one of my favorite coffee places in the city. But as always, take my reviews with a grain of salt because I loveee sweet drinks. 10.30.2023. Holy Cow. 6.50. (condensed milk latte). Seoul much avo. 9.75. (avocado toast + kimchi + seeds) total 17.65. This latte was sooooo good! The perfect amount of sweetness coupled with the cutest latte art, how can you not fall in love? The avo toast was decent. Thick sourdough that wasn't too hard. Not overly generous with the avocado. But a good portion of kimchi plus chili flakes gives it a hit of spice. It tasted good, but would I pay 10 dollars for that again? Probably not. But I definitely would return for another drink! 01.08.2023. Sea Salt Caramel Latte. 6.25. Didn't taste caramelly at all. And they gave me a regular leaf latte art :( instead of a cute one. Drinks I still want to try: Chocolate mint latte. 6.25. Cookie Monster. 6.50. Birthday cake. 6.75. Red Velvet latte. 6.25. 02.29.2024. Birthday cake latte. Omg this was so pretty. Rainbow latte art. Did not taste like birthday cake but was nice and sweet. The nonpareils added a good crunch, but other than that? Just a regular latte.

Yelp
Wow this coffee was amazing and the perfect pick-me up for a day of meetings that came the rest of the day. Not only did the coffee taste shine through, but the latte art was amazing too! We had Home Coffee Roasters catered to our office and they brought in their mobile coffee cart and got to work. Making 70 or so drinks in a like 90-minute setting is no easy feat and they did it with such patience and friendliness. So impressed!
google avatar

Cam S.

Yelp
Their coffee is extremely high quality and the baristas here are so friendly. The space is accommodating with a decent amount of seating, I could reasonably estimate 10 spots here to work, with some spacing factored in. Food options are limited. A few baked goods and some avocado toast variants but nothing fancy. ... On a more down to earth note, being a local roastery in the heart of downtown, and this being their singular location, clearly they've a commitment to quality and excellence that keeps their business thriving, and it shows - the two times I've been here there's always been an ample amount of people.

Yelp
The best coffee I tried in all of SF! Their rainbow latte is truly beautiful, but I ordered a regular unsweet latte for myself and the coffee is unmatched here. Our company brought in their coffee cart one day and I enjoyed it so much I walked to this location in Chinatown the next day! They have a large menu with both traditional and more trendy coffee options, as well as some baked goods like ube muffins. The owners are fabulous, and anytime I'm in SF this will be a staple for me!

Yelp
What an unexpected little treat this was! Home Coffee visited our office with their mobile cart and they were greeted with a nearly endless line of folks overwhelmingly excited for one of their caffeinated beverages. Even though they were slammed the entire time, the two people running it were so friendly and engaging with every person they interacted with, giving their entire attention to each of us when it was our time to order. Not thinking they'd have an iced option OR that there would be something vegan, imagine my absolute delight when they were like, "yeah, we can toooootally do an iced pistachio latte with almond milk for you". And it was absolutely divine. So nutty, so earthy, so creamy, and just the tiny hint of sweet. It was the best mid morning pick-me-up I've had in a very long time!

Yelp
One thing about me ... your girl LOVES an aesthetic coffee. Home Coffee Roasters was recently dispatched to bring their mobile coffee cart to a team conference and when I say they gave me life, they gave me LIFE! Maybe it's all the coffee...but the staff was so perky, happy, and patient. The baristas had hoards of decaffeinated people around their cart and greeted each person who stopped by with a huge smile. They created a special menu that was in line with our conference theme (carnival) and did not disappoint! The carnival coffee was a rainbow array of fun and flavor. I had so much FOMO when I ordered my basic brown and white latte but my barista added some personal razzle dazzle in the form of kitty cat latte art. It truly made my day/week/month/year. I know it takes a lot of patience to personalize lattes when there is a huge line but I can really appreciate Home's dedication to their craft. My latte tasted just as good as it looked and it definitely gave me an extra pep in my step as I continued the rest of my day. Thank you Home!

Yelp
For. The. Win. I already had my "I'm ready to go coffee" and was shifting into my next mid-morning, "let's redline it" type of coffee. Was really glad to see these fine folks slinging drinks for our company during a conference. They were making all kinds of fun, aesthetic drinks which I saw a lot of, but have to admit did not take part in. I'm 80 years old when it comes to coffee, not really liking sweet flavors in it (black coffee, cold brew, Americanos) being my normal go-to. But I did want to have a little fun with it, so I tried a cappuccino with oat milk and it was very good! I sort of saw an opening in the line as they were about to kick things off, so was able to get taken care of quickly and catch up with some colleagues. I feel like they took their time to make each drink right, which is wonderful and how it should be. A million times better than the hotel coffee I had that morning, and a welcome sight for a caffeine fiend like myself.

Yelp
5 Stars for the prettiest lattes I've ever seen (and they actually taste great too!). Ok, so I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but your girl loves a pretty drink. Home Coffee Roasters recently came to our offices to cater coffee for a conference. They came with a really cute coffee cart and people were left talking about the coffee all day. The line was long, but the staff was incredibly positive and friendly right up to the last person. I got a latte that used sprinkles to create the most magical, rainbow-like latte art I've ever seen. It was sweet, but not cloying, and I ended up drinking it down to the final drop (not something I usually do). Overall, a great coffee catering pop-up and I will definitely check this location out next time I'm in town!

Yelp
super glad there was a Home Coffee when my sisters and i went to chinatown early morning ! i haven't been in so long and was so excited that we were 11 minute walking distance from it. we ordered the lavender latte, vanilla latte, and hazelnut latte. all their drinks were not sweet and had a great coffee taste to it ! i personally was a fan of the hazelnut latte. you can never go wrong with a coffee & hazelnut combo! they're quick with making the drinks and it's honestly so aesthetically pleasing inside too!

Yelp
I've been to 2-3 other HOME locations but never got to visit this one! First impression it seems spacious and clean, seating seems limited though as there r only a couple small tables and mostly communal bench and table areas. The line for coffee got very long around 12:30pm. I cant say no to the rainbow latte bc i love the rainbow latte art!! It's so pretty!! I did get less sweet bc the person taking my order said this drink is on the sweeter side but i felt like it wasnt sweet enough just a smidge. My bf got the pandan latte and it came with a bear and it was soo cutee and also tasty. I want to come back and try the avocado toast!!

Yelp
Great coffee shop in Chinatown! Got an iced lavender latte. There are spots in there to work/read with outlets and free WiFi!

Yelp
The team at Home Coffee Roasters brough their mobile cart to our office and it was such a treat! Not only the coffee, but the friendly team members that provided us with our morning cup of joe. The line was long, but the the Home team didn't seem phased at all. Plus, they were still in great spirits when I eventually placed my order, towards the very end of the line. They had a variety of syrups, milks, and both hot and iced beverage options for us. I decided to order an iced macchiato. It was great! The coffee was strong and definitely left me ready to conquer the day.
