We LOVED the gluten free pasta making class! Everything about it from the experience, to the food to the education we learned. Would love more gluten free class opportunities. The 'true' gluten free/celiac world isn't that large but being able to connect with other people last night who have a gluten allergy and share travel experiences / personal food experiences was more than I could have expected. We were able to make 5 gluten free pastas, it was served with 2 sauces (a pesto and a tomato sauce). In addition there was a charcuterie plate made when we got there, slices bread and olive oil along with amazing homemade gelato at the end!
The gluten free dough was already prepped when we got there, but our instructor, Olivia was more than willing to talk about how she made it and how to perfect gluten free pasta. All of the tools were pretty simple and can be bought at home to replicate. She said sometimes they do sell the tools in shop, but didn't have any available that evening.
Our instructor was great, she made the class unique to each person attending and had a lot of knowledge to share on pasta making, wine, Italy and so much more. She truly made it a memorable experience. I can't wait to come back and bring friends!
Can't recommend enough!
