"On Saturday, May 28th, and Saturday, June 5th, Café Dulce at Row DTLA is hosting Ingrained LA for a two-day pop-up. From 10:30am-4pm, you’ll be able to purchase bowls of Hainan chicken (which comes with rice, chicken broth, ginger scallion paste, and Fresno chilis) and Japanese beef bowls filled with simmered brisket, gyudon broth, onions, plus a perfectly yolk-y egg. Preorders can be placed through Ingrained LA’s website. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

"Another gem in the USC Village, Honeybird serves Southern comfort food, with golden fried chicken as the star of the show. The chicken is hormone-free and brined for 28 hours in Honeybird’s herb and spice mix. The garlic mashed potatoes, collard greens, and macaroni salad make worthy sides to the mixed chicken meals, while the fried chicken sandwiches come with pimento cheese, slaw, tomato, and pickled chilies. Make sure to grab a slice of homemade pie to finish off the meal." - Cathy Park

ATTENTION!! I really hoped this $16.97 bagel would come double sided, or AT LEAST have fresh ingredients. But no, I got an acid smelling bagel with the most unappetizing sliver of disgusting grayish farmed salmon. Garbage it was literally by far the worst bagel of my life and I’m from California. I will forever regret the $17 I should have spent on a dulce coffee AND sandwich. On the contrary, I would be happy to take my review down if corporate offers me a regular, appetizing, spicy chicken sandwich to make up for such a poor breakfast experience. Honestly this was the worst start to my day in a long time and I hope I save some poor souls from having to experience how AWFUL their breakfast is.

Update: I think their chicken sandwiches got better here. It was spectacular. My boy loved the wagfle fries and grilled cheese. Excellent fried chicken sandwiches. I prefer the fiery chicken as I definitely enjoy the kick! Always wonder how in the world establishments get the breast so darn juicy!!! The mysteries of life.... Absolute must!

OMG. Must try their fire bird chicken sandwich. Mac and cheese was so delicious along with their slaw. But if you’re gonna try one thing along with your fire bird sandwich. It’s the honey butter dip with their biscuits. I died and left a new man.

First of the area it’s in is just beautiful, the food was amazing. Very clean location, lots of options, and the price is reasonable. I would highly recommend and would eat here again.

This place is right in the middle of USC village. Seating is very limited but the staff is very efficient in getting customers through the line with their food orders. My favorite is the Fire bird chicken sandwich pictured below. Waffle fries are separate or sold in a combo.

Great spot to hit for surprisingly good fried chicken.

Chicken seasoning was good, the chicken was not cooked all the way through, pink/blood inside so I could not finish it. They charge 50 cents extra for the sauces. The ranch was good, the comeback sauce was too tart for my liking. The chipotle Mac n cheese salad is not good imo, the waffle fries were of standard quality. Popcorn chicken is extremely overcooked with many of the pieces not even edible. After trying numerous things on the menu, I wouldn’t pay for it again.

The chicken was too fatty, I couldn’t even finish it. Pretty much spent $20 for fries and a drink
