"This Cantonese restaurant, open since the 1980s, has become a stalwart of Chinatown’s dining scene. The barbecued pressed duck is a must, as is anything made with XO sauce, which is a spicy, umami-rich seafood-based sauce that originated in Hong Kong." - Erika Adams, Valerie Li Stack

"There are a number of Chinese BBQ spots in Chinatown, but the consistent lunchtime lines at Hong Kong Eatery must mean they’re doing something right. The roast duck and siu yuk here are pretty good, though we’ve definitely had better char siu elsewhere. They also have a large menu of things like salt and pepper squid, chicken congee, and lo mein, just in case you’re not in the mood for BBQ." - Joel Ang

Google
3 stars rating means good. Roast duck is great, but the other meats are serve cold for some reason. Rice is good, but it taste like in the brinks of being expired. Place is small. Doesn’t have many tables for dine in. The restaurant has a China-smell to it. Someone referred me to this place. Would I return? Yes, but not my first choice.

Google
Hong Kong Eatery is a long standing Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Chinatown serving a wide assortment of meats in various formats, such as rice plates or by the pound assortment. They are well known for their traditional display of meats from the street, to see the wide variety they serve. The service was quick and efficient, with the dishes coming out within 5-10 minutes. It does help to know Cantonese, but isn't required to order. There are smaller tables inside to sit at and eat, as well as a large assortment of prepackaged meats and dishes to get. We got the single meat plates with the Char siu (BBQ Pork) and Siu Yuk (Crispy Roasted Pork). The Char Siu was pretty good and pretty standard for traditional Char Siu, with a nice portion for the price. The Siu Yuk had a nice crispy skin with a lot of meat, though the crunchy skin was a bit smaller than I liked. The Siu Yuk also had bones in the meat, which isn't something I prefer but didn't ruin it for me.

Google
Best chinese resto in town with affordable price. I would recommend the triple items rice platter, since you could 3 types of protein. The platter costed me $15ish (exclude tips) The roasted duck and roasted pork were so delicous, would love to come back to this resto. There were tables for u to dine in. The service was fast, and the employees were so friendly. U could also get free water.

Google
Reliable spot for BBQ meat over rice. Been dropping by this place for quick bites now and then. BBQ meat places (the kind with ducks hanging in the window) aren’t super common in Boston Chinatown, but this is probably the most popular. Their menu covers a good range—from BBQ duck and stewed beef to Charsiu pork. While not everything’s great, they nail a couple of dishes really well. My top picks here are the Pipa duck, Crispy pork, and Char siu pork—though the char siu can be hit-or-miss, especially outside peak hours (best to grab it around opening time). Some of their other meats lean a bit dry, so ask for extra juice or sauce if you can. Still, when it comes to Pipa duck and crispy pork, Hong Kong Eatery is on par with some of the best no-frills BBQ spots in NYC Chinatown. Worth a try. Favorites: Pipa Duck, Crispy Pork Solid: Beef Tendons, Roasted Duck Decent: Beef Tripe, Chicken Leg, Beef Brisket

Google
Been coming here for years for takeout. Recently saw a few table available for sit down but the restaurant is small and not a comfortable space for dining in. The wonton noodle soup is a staple and is fairly good. You can get a variety of meats combination for soup noodles, most commonly the roast pork, chicken, duck or pig. All their roast meats are usually well cooked with good flavors. Service is not friendly but usually efficient.

Google
I fear the Boston influencers overhyped this place. The food was almost good, but it was room temperature/cold. The crispy pork was good in flavor but a little greasy and the duck was very bony. Server was curt and the seating area was dirty and smelly. The food was cheap and simple and in large portions, so it might be good for some but I will not be returning.

Google
Not only is the food cheap, but it’s damn good too. I ordered the two meat plate with roasted duck and bbq pork. The first thing I noticed was how fatty and juicy the roasted duck was. Next, the bbq pork which had a caramelized sweetness to it. Lastly, the chili oil. The chili oil wasn’t spicy, but it was incredibly aromatic. Highly recommend giving the place a try if you’re looking for a quick bite.

Google
Triple Meat is my go-to here! Duck, Crispy Pork Belly & Char siu - Quick and easy, comes with rice. Bamboo with Chili is awesome! There are a few tables and chairs you can eat at.

Yelp
Hong Kong Eatery has been around since I was a kid! We used to get smoothies at the spot that was next door and eat here. Nowadays, I come here for takeout every so often. Depending on how I'm feeling, I'll either get a beef chow fun ( 乾炒牛河) or 3 meats over rice plate (三拼飯), with extra ginger scallion sauce! For the three meats, I like to get char siu 叉烧, soy sauce chicken 豉油鸡, and either duck 烤鴨 or octopus if they have it. I also enjoy their cold plate options, just to snack on. I love the cold spicy chicken feet and sometimes duck feet. Very quick service here, even if the line is out the door. Food is made fast, 5-10min ready. As for sit down/dine in, I haven't sat down to eat here in a minute. I've gotten very used to just ordering takeout from here and be on my merry way.

Yelp
We're visiting from LA, and my parents wanted some Cantonese cooking. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. You order at the kiosk and then pick up your food, which was relatively quick for us. You can also purchase premade boxes of food for $6. The marinated tofu was a bit salty for my taste. Seating is super limited, it's not very clean, and it's quite warm inside... all adding to the hole in the wall authentic Chinese food vibe!

Yelp
I ordered BBQ on Rice with 2 Proteins Platter BBQ on Rice with 2 Proteins Platter . My 2 proteins were Roasted Duck & the BBQ Pork 9/10 !!! Will be ordering again. P.s. the food looks amazing in person!!

Jim N.

Yelp
Best BBQ I've had in a long time. Ate here a year ago; loved it so much i came back and got the same thing. I got the 2 meats with rice and a separate order of broccoli both for about $25. What a great deal for such delicious food. The duck is flavored just right and the spice did not take over the flavor of the duck. The crispy port was CRISPY and tender, just a perfect meal over rice. Service was friendly and fast.

Yelp
For a quick weekend lunch, I stopped by hong Kong Eatery to get of sense of what they have on their menus and to scope out their BBQ meats. I quickly figured out the counter service nature of ordering food to eat at the establishment, in the form of a large ordering kiosk (like those at McDonald's and milk tea shops). I put in my order for a fish congee / 生滾魚片粥 ($8) and scallion pancake / 蔥油餅 ($6). The congee arrived piping hot (I could see staff ladling from a large pot). It had an ok amount of fish fillet pieces, but the stock needed more flavor. Even a touch more stock would do. The scallion pancake also arrived piping hot, probably just off the skillet. Some would consider it too salty, but not me. It did need more scallion flavor, however. Overall, despite my nitpicks, I think I got a decent value proposition. The congee and scallion pancake both totaled $14 pre-tax and filled me up considerably. I would return mostly when I crave a Cantonese breakfast. Note that everything arrives in take-out containers, even if you intend to eat there.

Yelp
This is 1 out of 2 places we used to get roast duck from within Chinatown area, when we lived here. The girl at the register was very nice and patient. I haven't been here in a long while and had questions and she explained it all. Their food still pretty good. Their menu has gotten bigger and they have premade drinks and a self ordering kiosk. Which I think are wicked neat. They charge the meats by weight if you're not getting rice plates. Their rice plate comes with a little blanched green. I don't agree with charging $2 for a tiny serving of plain broth but I got 1 because hubby wanted it. There's not much seating so if it's busy, you'll have to take it to go or wait a while for seat opening.

Vivian D.

Yelp
It's more of a 3.5 if anything and I don't have the heart to give it three stars since I literally have been going here for so long, but their quality has def downgraded. I had a rice plate here recently and the meat wasn't warm at all, but I still managed to eat it since the rice was a bit warm. Prices have also increased which is valid because of inflation and rent etc, but if the price is going to increase, at least let the quality match what you're paying for. Currently looking for another place to get Chinese bbq meat and rice, because it was really disappointing the last visit. Will I still come here if this is what I'm craving and can't find another spot? Most likely. Will update review if I end up going again. I do like their somewhat new renovation with the place and the HK-esque design. It's more of a buy and eat type of place now for casual take out!!

Emily D.

Yelp
A warm Spring workday equates to a nice stroll around Boston during lunch! We popped into Hong Kong eatery where the line was long, but the service was quick! My colleague and I ordered the crispy roast pork and the beef noodles. Together, it came out to be about $38, but we had a whole tray of food leftover to take home! That's about three meals total?! The ambiance is very straight forward. Grab your food to go, or sit down and eat quickly! There is no waitstaff, but you can order on the kiosk (super convenient!!) and sit down and wait. There aren't a lot of seats, maybe about 6 small tables total, but people come in and out so it's not too bad waiting for a seat while you're waiting for your food. The only improvement I would ask for is to provide some form of plates for customers to use for dine-in!

Elena J.

Yelp
Good spot for a quick lunch or takeout. They have very limited seating that is seat yourself style. There's always a lot of people coming in and out during mealtimes to grab their to go order as well as people who ordered in person and are waiting for their food, so it gets pretty crowded in the small space. Their rice with meat platters are really affordable and comes with veggies too. I will say it may be better if you get it to go so that you can reheat the food, as their veggies and meat are not always hot. There can be some inconsistencies in terms of how much meat vs bone you get if you order something like duck, but overall this place is solid if you're craving Hong Kong style roasted meats!

Adina S.

Yelp
I stopped by Hong Kong Eatery for a quick lunch while at the office. It was pretty busy, so the restaurant was fairly packed and things are rushed. There isn't much seating either and the vibes are pretty casual. I ordered the BBQ on Rice with 1 Protein Platter, with the duck as my protein. I'm always a fan of duck and this place does a great job. There is a significant amount of fat on the meat, though. I really wish they added some more veggies to the platter besides the bok choy because the bites without duck are pretty bland. Overall, a good spot for BBQ meat, but not the most inventive dishes.

Jimmy N.

Yelp
Been so long since I had HK EATERY. It still hits every time! Price went up a little but definitely worth it. Great quality and decent portion. Roast duck is always a must because it's always fresh.

Frances L.

Yelp
Review for Thanksgiving Day! We were looking for a quick lunch and wanted something in Chinatown. We had heard good things about the food here and arrived to a long line. The restaurant was closed for dining but was offering takeout only. They were prepared! The line moved quickly and they had so many different bbq meats to offer. We ordered a few items to try and every thing was savory and succulent. My fave was the soy sauce chicken. So good!

Joshua A.C. N.

Yelp
Incredible, fresh duck. I usually get one of their packages of Szechuan tripe to go with it.

Steven K.

Yelp
This place changed drastically from what it was before. I'd say this renovation is a PLUS. They changed it more into what the name says: eatery. You order at the front and there are to go items in boxes of pickled stuff and all sorts. Honestly prefer this than the serving way they had it. The people working there are so much nicer too! The seating is limited so I recommend either just picking up or coming at an off time for seats.

Dj A.

Yelp
i got a rice plate with barbecue pork and roasted crispy pork. it took less than 10 minutes to get, but was nearly cold (i was hoping the other reviews just went on a bad day LOL) the rice and bbq were somewhat warm but the crispy pork was room temp (off putting). the bbq pork and rice were nice but the crispy was kinda gooey so i'll try it again at home. every table was open except the big one in the middle! to be honest i won't be coming here again unless it's for bbq pork

Scott W.

Yelp
Staying near Chinatown so decided to take a look around and spotted the goods in the window of this place. So glad I stopped in! Amazing!

JC D.

Yelp
First round in Boston...walk around Chinatown and found this place...look interesting and the food was reasonable....they have kiosk order and then you can order, pay and wait for your number to be called. I ordered the three meat combo and the potsticker...I ended up having only the duck and the crispy pork...the duck Was not crispy but the pork was. I guess I made a wrong order and did not taste the pork bbq..anyway I did not find any sauce for the duck and the sauce for the crispy pork was not that sticky..the thing that worries me is that I was seated facing the service counter. Saw the guy cleaning the milk tea counter and touched the mop with his hands with gloves. As soon as I saw this I kept my close to home if he will change gloves. He never did, touch the milk tea sealant machine, touch the cup tea that was sealed, touch the to go food and the containers and plastic. I decide to talk to manager outside and try to correct this habit. I don't want to offend anyone but I think it's my responsibility to inform anyone. Sanitation is primary concern in the food industry. Again this review is not to put the place down but to be corrected. Thank you.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Ordered the marinated pork rice bowl. My girlfriend got the wonton soup with noodles. Both were good. Wonton Soup - Wontons had incredible flavor. Broth was just decent. Noodles were great. I would order again Rice Bowl - great meat flavor. No sauce. Too much rice It was very busy around lunch time but food was secreted within 5 minutes. It wasn't too loud and there was seating available.

Charles C.

Yelp
Good food , hole in the wall and surprisingly authentic ' where else can you get authentic duck around Boston! This is my go to place in Chinatown , want to try the tripe next time.

Mary E.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Service was so good. We really enjoyed it. We had the beef broccoli, which was excellent.

Julienne P.

Yelp
Ordered 1 whole duck here and it was good! A bit on the salty side but great with fresh vegetables and rice. Next time I'll try the bbq pork as well as duck. They have a lot do other side dishes as well on display. Also ordered a house fry rice that was good too. It's a combo of a restaurant and bbq place.

War R.

Yelp
One of oldest and original Chinatown gem! Roast duck and crispy pork................ Order half a duck put some chilli on it , or take it home with some beer!

Nancy T.

Yelp
This place remind me of being in Hong Kong. Great price and love all their size dishes. I usually ordered the roast duck and bbq pork with extra veggies and less rice. Paid an extra $1 for the veggies, worth the extra dollar. Every time I'm in Boston, I would walk over.

Nick S.

Yelp
When it comes to roast pork and duck, this is the place. Service is fast, and the dinning area is limited so expect to eat in the car or take it home.

Richard P.

Yelp
Overall: operated as more of a cafe with SOME seating and a lot of take out options. Very typical "3.5 star" Chinese eatery so expect the stereotypical "poor service" and "greasy" yet FLAVORFUL food. Food: roasted duck, bbq pork, Chinese sausage with rice combo. Duck trends oilier and not MUCH meat but crispy skin. Bbq pork is the highlight as you can distinctly tell the red layer penetrates into the meat. A bit dry but very flavorful. Chinese sausage was closer to an American sausage and tasted boiled. Portion was pretty good for $11 and there was plenty of rice underneath. Pickled cucumber is cut fairly large and the pickling wasn't done that well. Closer to a cucumber with dressing more so than pickled. Still, crunchy texture with the tanginess of pickling. Spicy bamboo was the highlight as the bamboo was crunchy and held firm. It was NOT that spicy so fear not but definitely give it a try as it has the warmth of chili oil. Ambience/Decor/Service: small space as there is a lot of "open fridge" space for the take out cold appetizers. Typical loud rowdy Chinese joint with some nice Asian karaoke music playing in the background. Service is that they call your number for you to pick up the food, eat at your table or take out, and then bus it yourself.

Jenna L.

Yelp
Went here back in 2019 on a colder winter night! Solid place for Chinese food in Chinatown- what you'd expect and nothing more What we got: jellyfish w/ duck, wonton soup - probably would only redo the wonton soup again, but it was on the tad more expensive side

Harvey L.

Yelp
Dry barbecue meat...hardly edible. Very busy mid day, long line to order meats, etc. Surprised that meats were dried out.

John Y.

Yelp
For years, I've loved going to this place for the sheer amount of choices...always something for everybody in the family. They also used to give good quantity and tasty food at a reasonable price. I'm sad to report that after the past couple of visits, this place has continued to turn for the worse and is on a steep decline, at least for us. I'll list the reasons why. Food quality: The amazing flavors of their food have been missing on our last several visits. The beef chow foon seems to have no flavor, the BBQ meats are no longer as yummy as we had grown accustomed to. Its like they are just cooking for the look and selling it without putting in consistent effort to keep their flavors the same. Some of the items still taste okay, but too many I've found have disappointed these days. Service: This place has transformed a few times over the past couple of covid years. Its understandable that their dining area disappeared for a while, reappeared, and now a smaller seating area appears to be what they've settled on. I'm fine with that. There is even an electronic kiosk for you to order food so you don't have to interact with the front staff. However, the staff could use some improvement. The last few times I've found myself waiting for my food for nearly 30 minutes because of lack of communication. I'll be told my order is not ready, when I see it sitting behind the ladies up front. Or, its just sitting there cause they never called my number. I also ask for 1lb of some BBQ and they'd give me a whole piece, out of convenience for them. Overall, I'm really disappointed in the direction of this restaurant and likely have had my last visit for the foreseeable future. I do hope they turn it around, but I fear they will go away, like so many other faves in Chinatown. Oh, they no longer sell Salt & Pepper Pork Chops either. Thats one of my fave dishes to order from them. Good luck to them. I think this is the end of our long running relationship.

Meta P.

Yelp
So you guys are serving bloody undercooked chicken now huh? When the butcher over there was chopping away, he didn't notice the crime scene on the butcher block right? Take a look at the picture that I provided of what was served to me and tell me that they're not trying to kill people. I used to eat here often, but I will NEVER trust these people again! Someone is going to get seriously ill eating here, mark my words.

Johnny Y.

Yelp
I ordered their 3 BBQ meats platter and their beef and tomato over rice. Majority of the time I would say there isn't anything special about it. But, since I am from NY and Queens version of a HK beef and tomato is almost non existent. This is by far one of the better ones since I had in awhile. If you want that authentic style. I would order it from here. For the 3 BBQ meats platter. I Ordered the duck, chicken, and BBQ pork. It comes with a bedded of bok choy which is a plus to me. BUT...sadly the meats weren't as "fresh" as I would want it. Definitely had a day old taste to it. In most places what they would do if that was the case is to mix some of the new with the old which is a common business choice. Well, from where I come from. For the price I am paying. The value just isn't there.

Jonathan P.

Yelp
Really awful. It used to be a great place for authentic food with good service, great bbq, and large portions of food. Now there are no longer waiters or waitresses the eating area is very tiny and dirty and you have to pick up your food from a window. Whoever bought out the previous owners has destroyed what was a great Chinatown restaurant.

Jae P.

Yelp
Popular take-out spot in Chinatown. Pretty pricy considering it is takeout focused, but the flavor and options of meats is fantastic. There was a bit of a misunderstanding where I didn't get any rice with the two meats I ordered (beef tripe & duck) but the proteins themselves tasted decent. Limited seating for anyone looking to dine in.

Andrea L.

Yelp
Currently it is take-out only! They are super busy with phone, online, and in person orders so it can get a little crazy. I waited 30+ minutes for them to call out my ticket number but after waiting for so long I asked and the bag was already sitting on the counter. Be sure to ask if you feel like you've been waiting for a while. 3 stars for service - you order at the counter and you wait. Staff aren't particularly friendly but not terrible either. 4 stars for taste and price - even though this place isn't gourmet, I keep coming back because of their large menu offering and affordable prices. Most rice plates are around $10. I have tried their pickled mustard and squid rice, bbq pork and duck rice, tomato beef rice, and salt and pepper chicken wings. They give you more veggies and rice than meat, but it's still reasonable for the price you pay.

Aly S.

Yelp
Overall rating 3.5 stars Clean place with staff that speak english and mandarin/cantonese. Order came within 7 min and the place is pretty packed so would recommend to-go. Have gotten the char siu rice platter x2, would say the meat portion is on the smaller side and the rice can sometimes taste old if you go towards the end of the night.

Tien N.

Yelp
Best roast duck !! Flavorful throughout. Definitely will come back and try other items.

Michelle L.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place zero reviews if I could. Honestly, I do not understand how they are still in service because they were serving cold meats. The only thing that was warm was the rice and that wasn't even hot enough. Their workers were so incredibly rude, saying that they don't own a sauté pan or microwavable container or microwave at all. Everyone around us were also disappointed and I think they bank on people taking the food to go and being able to microwave it at home the crispy skin pork belly has the most amount of fat I've ever experienced and their sausages are light pink, seemingly undercooked, and their duck comes with way too many bones. We are pretty much paying for duck bone instead of duck meat.

Steven Z.

Yelp
The roast pork and bbq pork are very juicy and tender compared to some other places in Boston Chinatown. The duck isn't super bony which is great. The portions are a bit smaller, but that's the tradeoff for the higher quality I guess. Sometimes there's a bit too much rice. It's probably better to order at the counter vs the kiosk off to the side because I've had my order lost for a period of time sometimes.

Chris B.

Yelp
It has been a long time since I first visited Hong Kong Eatery in 2016. But, during this time, I still visited Chinatown quite frequently and consistently saw Hong Kong Eatery's steamy window filled with roast duck, pork, and other delicacies. So, on this day when I was particularly hungry, I decided to return for a nice sit-down dinner of duck and a noodle dish. When I entered the restaurant I was a little disorientated because it looked like they had remodeled. The small tables that once lined the wall and center of the space were reduced to a small section and replaced by a large counter area complete with kiosks. After standing in the takeout pick-up line for 5 minutes I was told that the traditional sit-down service they offered back in the day was replaced with the kiosks and that was where I needed to place my order. So, I fumbled through that process and when my food arrived I was a little disappointed. First, the noodle dish I ordered wasn't what I thought I was ordering. It's really not the restaurant's fault, but perhaps this mix-up could have been avoided if they still offered table service. Customers simply cannot ask a kiosk a question. But, the biggest disappointment was the duck. To my surprise, it was ice cold. Like it was being stored in a refrigerator. This discovery was a stark contrast to the expectation of getting one of the warm glistening ducks on display in the window. And the real kick in the teeth was all this food wasn't cheap. And what I enjoyed the most were the dipping sauces and free water at the self-serve station next to the kiosks. Sorry, I really can't see myself returning. Especially when you can get much better food at Chinatown Cafe on Harrison Ave.

Helena H.

Yelp
I ordered food for delivery, but when it arrived, I discovered that three dishes were missing, including a $50ish roasted duck. I immediately called the restaurant and was informed that they had forgotten to give the delivery person the other bag of food. It was frustrating to learn that the restaurant was aware of the mistake but did not bother to notify me. Two days later, I noticed that only two of the missing dishes had been refunded. The charge for the roasted duck was still on my bill. I had to call the restaurant again to request a refund for the missing item. It was frustrating to have to retell the entire story, and the person who answered the phone was not helpful. They refused to provide their name, making it difficult for me to follow up with them directly in the future. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

P L.

Yelp
Good spot for takeout. I recommend the crispy pork and roasted duck. Last time I visited, I ordered a bbq pork and a beef chow foon. The bbq pork was dry and tough but the flavor was ok. The beef chow foon didn't have much flavor other than a smokiness and a hint of ginger. It does have good texture because it was soft and slightly crunchy from the been sprouts. Overall, I wouldn't come here for anything other the crispy pork and roasted duck now. The food is overall lackluster. It's not outstanding but it's not particularly bad. It's kind of the epitome of "meh" food. The service is fast and straightforward which makes it easier. When it gets busy, it gets very crowded and claustrophobic so I don't recommend going during busy hours.

Feng Z.

Yelp
The restaurant is located inside of the Asian grocery store. We ordered the brisket clay pot (牛腩) and it was delicious and full of flavor. The 京都排骨 was mediocre at best. Overall a good restaurant.

Della S.

Yelp
I dropped by in person to pick up some of their BBQ meats. They are still doing takeout only. I asked for half a pound each of the BBQ pork (~$14/lb) and roasted crispy pork (~$17/lb), as well as 1/4 roasted duck ($10.95). The cashier rang up my order and charged me close to $11 for each type of pork. Some reviewers complained on here that they give you less meat than you pay for. I was worried that the same thing happened to me, so I weighed my order when I got home. Don't worry, y'all-- I got as much as I paid for. I guess they just gave me a little more meat than what I originally asked for! I was a huge fan of everything I got. The roasted duck was extremely savory. While it wasn't crispy, the duck skin was full of fat that clung to all the spices and made the meat super tender. (A friend recommended air-frying the duck to crisp up the skin-- I'll have to try that next time) The spices added a subtle sweetness and smokiness that complimented the fatty skin and perfectly brined meat. Although the duck came with some sauce on the side, it did not need the sauce at all! The BBQ pork came with a mixture of leaner cuts of pork and cuts that had fat marbled throughout. I was pleasantly surprised that the leaner cuts weren't dry at all. The BBQ pork was sweet and savory, and the marinade flavor penetrated through the entire piece of meat. I ended up having some of the pork when it got cold and it was still super delicious. My favorite was by far the roasted crispy pork. While the duck and BBQ pork had a more complex sweet-smoky-savory flavor profile, the roasted crispy pork was mostly savory. However, the pork was SO tender and juicy! The pork did not need any sauce at all because the brine soaked through all of the meat. The skin was super crispy which added so much fun texture to the tender pork. I'm super happy to have finally tried this place. I'm definitely coming back more regularly.

Yelp
This was very hit and miss. We really liked the spicy tofu and the stewed brown eggs in the pre made section. Roasted meats was OK- the pig and duck can be pretty fatty and oily though. Roast pork was fine. Congee was terrible. No flavor at all. We ended up tossing half of each (we got the fish filet and pork with preserved egg)

Yelp
Not as good as used to be. This is my place to go for noodle soup before pandemic. I usually ordered 2 items in noodle soups. For today, I ordered a single item in noodle soup which now cost $8.95. I called to placed the order even it is more convenient to placed online but there is a processing fee. I arrived 10min after placing my order, it was ready. The veggies is still raw, the duck was okay, and noodles are chewy which is the texture I like but the soup was disappointment, it just not good as before.

Yelp
Really clean inside with lots of braised snacks and ample AC. The duck wings were perfect in flavor and texture, but they do combine it with duck feet underneath (can't see from the top). Beef Chow Fun was a bit oily and not salty enough, but overall very fresh, piping hot, and beef was tender. I'd say the entrees are a tad bit pricier than they could be

Yelp
I used to eat here a lot (before covid) and just recently ordered delivery from here. This was my first time with takeout instead of dining in, but the meat to rice ratio was not very good. I ordered two different bbq meats but there was more rice than there was meat :( The sauce that usually comes with it was also very little. The bokchoy was still good though.. I have some good memories with this place so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. I do want to go back again and hopefully it will be as good as it used to be.

Yelp
If you're craving Chinese BBQ, come here. Decent sized restaurant for ordering. Seating is limited. Service is decent, it took a while for us to get ours due to the customer ahead of using ordering like 13 bowls of wonton noodle to go. The bbq pork was amazing, just the right amount of lean and fatty pork. Duck and noodle was just ok in my opinion. The place is clean, there's a station up front where you can disinfect your own table and there's also hand sanitizer.

Yelp
We waited a while to get our food and when it is ready we were disappointed in the portion size. We sat indoors so we could eat it immediately but everything was a disappointment. The crispy roasted pork was also cold and the biggest let down. The skin was barely crispy and the meat tasted boiled. We thought it would be great since it was too moist but that meant the skin had no flavor and was not crispy enough. There was no seasoning on it at all and the dip had congealed so it was hard to dip the pork in it. We also ordered fried rice to go with it and the garlic choi sum. Both also were a disaster. The fried rice was more like white rice with cubed veggies mixed in. The garlic choi sum was alright flavor-wise but that also tasted and looked boiled, not stir-fried. For the hype and long wait, it was not worth it.
