Hooligan's Grog and Gruel

Tried the PB&J after seeing many YouTubers recommending it. It lived up to the hype and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would rank it as one of the best food we had at Epic Universe as a whole. I would definitely recommend getting it if you're visiting Epic Universe. We'll definitely be getting this in any of our future visits.

The macaroni cones were great! I recommend getting the chicken one! Every bite was delicious. I think this is something everyone should try at some point at epic universe! Good and filling and a great dish to refuel for the rest of the afternoon.

The Nashville hot chicken Mac and cheese cone was amazing. My favorite meal I had in the park. It is big enough to feed 2 people but it is difficult to eat I was spilling all over myself. I wish they had some shaded seating areas it is hard to stand and eat this.

bf and i have been obsessed with those mac n cheese cones since day 1. highly highly recommend!! i’m vegetarian so i always get the classic cone and it’s phenomenal every time 😍 EDIT: spitfyre grill also sells the mac n cheese cones to help disperse the lines between the two places :)

Yes, the mac n cheese cones are good. Wife didn't care much for hers, teenage boys liked theirs. I had the Dragonfire Chicken Spire and it was excellent. Spicier than expected, fantastic. Mac n cheese was a little bland. Comes in a hollowed out bun, not quite a cone. Mac could be cheesier. But all in all, a pretty decent snack.

This was a fun and unique thing to try! The first bites are definitely the best (that’s where the chicken and sauce is—then you get more into the Mac and cheese) the bread is soft and garlicky. Not my favorite thing I ate at the park, but a fun lunch!

The PB&J Cone was delicious. This was the best food item we had at the park. It had mac and cheese, bacon, and pulled pork. The bread was crunchy but spongy at the same time. It was flavorful and delicious. It was 10/10.

Came during lunch and waited about 10 minutes to order and got the PB&J cone, but got the food very quick after ordering. The PB&J was dynamite in flavor, from the pork to the everything seasoned cone, it was excellent. However, what keeps this from a five star review is the bread to toppings ratio. The filling of the cone, at least with ours, was lacking as the cone was at least 60% bread. If they scooped about 15% more of the bread out and added more of the pork and Mac and cheese it would be a slam dunk. Worth trying but expect to grab more food after if you bring a heavy appetite.

OMG! The best snack I've ever had at a theme park! I can't belive how good this thing is. It's spicy, meaty, cheesy, and pops with flavor! I got the $17.99 Dragon Fire Chicken Spire. I'm still in awe at how delicious thit this was. Sometimes the Internet comes through with their hype videos. This is without a doubt one of them. MUST TRY!

I stopped by Hooligan's Grog and Gruel and went with the Mac & Cheese Bread Cone to accommodate my wife's vegetarianism. I was pleasantly surprised! The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, and I loved the extra texture from the Goldfish sprinkled on top. What really stood out, though, was the bread cone itself; light, soft, and perfect for holding everything together. When you get that ideal bite with bread, mac & cheese, and Goldfish all at once, it's definitely a treat. I'm giving this spot 4 stars mainly because of the price. At $16+, it feels steep for what's essentially a snack, but I get that it's part of the theme park experience. If Yelp allowed half stars, I'd probably bump this up to 4.5. Overall, it's a fun, tasty option and I'd recommend grabbing one during your visit to Epic Universe.

Mac and Cheese Bread Cones are the star of the show at this little kiosk. We took ours over to the covered dining area across from Spit Fyre Grill to enjoy the shade. The bread is relatively light weight, buttery and covered with everything bagel seasoning. The inside is stuffed with Macaroni and cheese and pulled barbecue pork. A tasty little snack to share or a meal on its own.
