"Hope and Aaron Peshlakai initially started selling fry bread to raise funds for a neighbor in need and for years were selling out of a cart off Power Road. One thing led to the next, and in 2022 they opened their current brick-and-mortar digs in the heart of Mesa. Frybread has deep cultural ties to Native American heritage, and for Hope, the ability to share her heritage and her food with the world is central to the business. While fry bread can be served with a medley of different toppings ranging from savory to sweet, the Navajo Taco is perhaps the most famous. Topped with chili beans, lettuce, cheese, tomato, onions, and salsa, the warm, fluffy fry bread makes for a perfect vessel for the mountain of toppings." - Mcconnell Quinn

Google
We ordered the classic fry bread (topped with honey and powdered sugar) and the Navajo taco - the texture was chewy, soft and flavorful. There was plenty of seating, games available on the tables, and a pretty mural art inside. Would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

I have driven past this place on Wednesday for months and I finally stopped in. The frybread burgers (single and double) were fantastic. Love the thin hand made patties. All the topings tasted fresh as if made at home. We also tried the frybread classic treat with powdered sugar and honey. Also divine. The lady at the counter had a beautiful personality to accompany her beautiful face & smile. Everyone was nice. The atmosphere has a bit of a route 66 appeal going on. I will definitely be back.

Google
I absolutely loved their Navajo taco with extra meat. It was really great. My roommate had the Navajo cheeseburger, and it was wonderful, too. We went to the frybread festival at Rawhide, and after 45 mins or so, we finally made it to the front of the line to learn that they ran out of food. That is why we actually came here today. We were determined to get frybread. And I couldn't have been happier with the food I did end up with. We can't wait to come back for more of your wonderful food. The service was really great too. The lack of seating was the only real problem I had eating here. Keep up the great work, guys. Thanks!

Google
Loved the food, loved the decor. We both ordered Navajo Tacos, they were really delicious. The other customers were also friendly and didn't mind we brought our luggage in with us.

Google
Food was excellent and staff were extremely nice. The suggested the Navajo taco and it didn't disappoint! A friend had the lamb sandwich and said it was delicious as well.

Google
It was really good . i got the Burger . it was like a smash burger on fry bread. i highly recommend this place. it looked really clean inside and everyone was nice friendly. the macaroni salad was good it had bacon in it. i like that there was an option that wasn’t chips or fries . i wanna come back and try the lamb and dessert ones ! i’ll be back ! sorry i already started eating before i took thought to take the pictures .

Google
The lamb sandwich is where it's at! I couldn't post a picture the first time I ordered one because I ate it so fast. Plenty of onions and green chili mixed with the lamb. Lamb was cooked the right amount and fry bread was nice and crispy. And there's a Philly cheesesteak version of it this month. Also, if you have a large party they have a new seating area on the south end of the restaurant.

I’ve been looking for a native spot the makes actual fry bread. This is the best Navajo taco I’ve had outside my mommas house!! Seriously stop by and support the small family business atmosphere is wonderful. They even got the blue bird! lol if you know! You know!! ✨🥰

Yelp
Great costumer service ! I came with my parents and I tried the Philly Frybread and it was bomb!! The lady had gave us some info between scones and Navajo tacos! She was so sweet and everything is made fresh to order ! The decor and seating on the inside was so cute!

Veronica N.

Yelp
Loved the food! I happened to stumble across this fry bread location and boy am I glad I did! I decided to try a new dish alternative to what I usually get and settled on the smashburger fry bread. It was delicious! Sweet and tangy and hearty. On the side I got the pasta salad. Another good choice! Cold pasta with cheese and crunchy bell peppers. For dessert I got the classic honey and power sugar fry bread. It was a perfect pairing for an end of the meal delicious dessert. Service was quick. The ambience was pleasant and the food was delicious, I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I had been wanting to visit "Hope's Fry Bread " for a few months. Today, I had my chance, and it was stellar. The food was excellent, the staff was great, the atmosphere was welcoming and the prices were reasonable. "Hope's Fry Bread" is located just south of Main on the west side of Mesa Drive. The eatery is (as their promotion declares) infused with "Navajo heart, Mesa soul." There is lots of seating in two units. There is tasteful decor throughout, nodding to the restaurant and its owner. The staff welcomed me kindly when I entered and graciously explained the menu. I sat down and waited a very short time before my order was delivered to the table. When I was finished, I ordered additional items to go. Everyone was pleasant, quick, and helpful. Warm smiles and attitude everywhere. The food items I chose were Navajo Taco (with extra meat) and Navajo Burger (double meat). Both were excellent, flavorful, and fresh. The Frybread was perfect, fluffy, and slightly crisp. The big surprise to me was the salsa that accompanied the Navajo taco - it was delicious. The pricing is very reasonable, just 12.50 for the best entrées (of course, with additional options). I rarely ever post reviews anymore due to being busy and rarely finding surprising and exceptional cuisine. Today, I found both. "Hope's Fry Bread" is the next place you should check out for lunch. You will love it!

Yelp
Navajo Taco or Indian Taco? The debate is settled. LOL JK but IYKYK. Had this place saved for a while and glad we got to try it out for dinner. My husband and I shared a Navajo Taco which they were able to split for us. Very accommodating! For an appetizer, we got the chips and salsa. Salsa was good and had a nice kick of heat. The chips were okay-not home made. The frybread was light and crispy; the beans were firm and savory. The cheese, lettuce and tomatoes were fresh as well. I'd definitely come back again when craving a Navajo taco. Great to see a taste of home only 20 minutes away. The restaurant had plenty of seating options. The overall atmosphere was inviting.

Nia M.

Yelp
Such a great experience, the staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a very large party they offered us their staff lounge to sit all of us. The food was absolutely delicious!!! My kids first time having fry bread. The food is very filling and full of flavor. My favorites last night were the beans and the classic bread served with honey and powdered sugar. On my list to come back to when I am back in AZ.

Yelp
This was a tasty lunch! I have had Hope's Frybread on my list to try for some time but I wasn't near other locations. I happen to be going to another shop in this same shopping center so I decided to try. I tried the cheeseburger frybread with macaroni salad. I got my food to go and I wanted to taste it while the bread was freshly made. It was good then and even later after being reheated. It was just like a chalupa, if you've not had frybread before. This location appears to be pretty new, it's nice and clean with brightly painted walls and very friendly staff. Glad I stopped in :)

Yelp
I came across Hope's Frybread by accident. I saw customers coming out of the restaurant. I asked how the food was and they said it was one of their favorite spots. Small and quaint with plenty of seating. This place is so clean you could probably eat off the floor. The staff is friendly. I asked the hostess what was the most popular item and she said that I have a hot taco I ordered mine with chili meat and beans. There is a vegetarian and bean less chili option. I ordered my Navajo taco to go. I had every intention of eating it at home... I just couldn't wait. I got into my car and cut off a piece of the outer crust of the Fryebread and I was surprised on how light the bread is in comparison to how it looks. The bread is really nice and airy. Then I took a bite with all the toppings and it was really good. The chili they mak is nothing like a chili con carne. Their version of chili is not heavily spiced or salted. I missed the salt... I think it enhances everything. I would definitely go back again. I probably would just even buy the bread and take it home and pour butter and honey all over it. A nice local eatery, and Native American Heritage.

Yelp
This new spot in the plaza is an absolute must-visit! The unique turquoise signage outside is eye-catching and inviting, making you feel welcome before you even step inside. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by smiling employees and a great menu that promises a delicious experience. The left side features a stunning mural, and the next room showcases beautiful paintings and clothing, adding a unique and authentic touch to the place. The atmosphere has a warm, native feel that makes it stand out as something truly special. Mesa needed a place like this! The original fry bread was absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommend checking this place out--you won't be disappointed!

Teri R.

Yelp
I stopped in and picked up a small dessert frybread (honey and powdered sugar) on the way to somewhere else. They made it hot and fresh and quick. It was so good. I'd definitely stop in here again and eat.

Yelp
I LOVE stopping on the side of the road up in the White Mountains and getting Fry Bread from those selling this goodness from a cart/tent...not many places can match them. I've heard great things about Hope's Frybread and checked it out today. Super friendly staff and the place was clean. Lots of seating inside along with some merch if you're interested. You order at the counter, take a number and have a seat...they bring your food out to you. I got the Navajo Taco and was concerned it wouldn't be big enough. Make no mistake, they're NOT the size of a taco :) It's about the size of a personal pizza. It was amazing! Chili beans with meat, cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato and salsa. I added the hot sauce to give it the extra kick. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'm coming back here again for sure! There's a hamburger option on the menu I wanna taste!

Yelp
This place is great for a quick and easy stop. At first, I thought the address was outdated because it's next to a bunch of construction that didn't look like it opened up to shops, but once you find it, it makes sense. The menu is quick and easy to navigate, and there's good visibility of everything being prepared, which feels great. They have a nice seating area at tables and at the bar. The pricing is good. Personally, I would prefer a bit more flavor and more steak or cubed meat options, but otherwise, this place is fantastic. The bread is delightful. I found myself adding salt and sauces for more flavor. That said, definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick dinner with my Yelp bestie, Diele K. She had been multiple times before and always talks about how tasty the frybread is. We shared a Navajo taco ($13), which is frybread topped with house chili beans, lettuce, cheese, tomato, onions, and house-made salsa. After finishing our savory meal, we determined we had to try a sweet frybread as it was my first time in. We ordered the mini classic ($3). Also had to snag an adorable magnet for each of us ($6 each or 2 for $10). The food was great and quick to come up. We arrived when it was slower, but while we were there, a wave of people came by and the team handled the influx of people very swiftly. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The establishment is very casual and love the murals on the wall along with art throughout. This was a super tasty and intriguing place to grab a bite to eat. Definitely stop in if you haven't been by!

Yelp
My hunny and I spent all day outside of the valley hiking and wasn't in the mood to cook dinner so grabbed the yelp app to see what was in the area and found Hope's Fry Bread. Now I have heard positive things from people I know so I was excited to give them a try! We checked out the menu and placed our orders to go. I went with the traditional Navajo Taco and . The Navajo Taco is fry bread topped with pinto beans, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, onions with house made salsa and a classic honey and powdered sugar frybread. Everything on the Navajo taco was fresh ingredients, and the fry bread fresh too, only thing was lacking flavor, very bland, even the fresh salsa. That was kinda a let down. The classic frybread with honey and powdered sugar was nonedible. It was a hard frybread that was not easy to eat. Glad to have given Hope's a try, if you never had an Navajo Taco, its something to try!

Robert C.

Yelp
This is our third visit to Hope's fry bread. Previous times I had the taco with meat fry bread. Decided to try the lamb this time. It did not disappoint. Service was excellent and food was delivered to our table when it was ready. The restaurant appears to have rented another room for extra seating. This made a very pleasant dining experience. The ambiance is clean and simple.

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Very glad we stopped by! We had the honey and powder sugar, my son and I liked it very much. Definitely will come back to try something else on the menu. I came to Yelp to do a review on this place because it is worth mentioning (we happened to be wanting to go to another dessert place in the same complex but they were closed). But now that I know they close at 8 (we walked in at 8.05p), and I felt the service was normal, it says a lot. They could have told me they were closed. Instead, I did not get unwelcome look or service, and just realized that we actually walked in 5 minutes past their open hours! It made This fry bread I am about to finish while typing taste even better

Bryce H.

Yelp
Considering I ordered this to go, the fry bread was still very tasty. I had the classic Indian fry bread, the single burger fry bread and a small honey and sugar powdered dessert fry bread. The quality was great and inside was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and service was great. The only thing I would change about the normal fry bread taco is to have more meat in the chili and less beans, it got a little soggy. Overall definitely a good spot for some local food and I will be back for more.

Brad W.

Yelp
Not a good frybread at fair. Dry and tasteless. Needed cinnamon or wasn't fresh. Probably because it was $3.

Paula C.

Yelp
Hope's Fry Bread has shamefully been on my list for over two years. It was first recommended to me by one of my close Navajo friends. I truly do not know why I waited so long to go here besides it's just not in an area I find myself in. It was important to me that it be Native-owned and operated, to honor the origins of this traditional food. Hope's was perfect. Hope herself greeted us and took our order, there's a colorful mural of 3 generations of Hope's beautiful family, along with other unique art along the walls and items available for purchase. The fry bread was delicious, a fluffy, chewy, crispy combo. The traditional fry bread drizzled with honey was perfect for dessert. The vegetarian taco fry bread was generous and delicious. The restaurant was clean and brightly lit. It was a welcoming atmosphere and felt like we were eating at an extension of their family kitchen. We will eat at Hope's on future visits, no question and no excuse for it not being in my neighborhood!

Yelp
Do you even know fry bread??? Hopes Frybread just gets better and better the longer that I know them. Family owned and operated with the whole fam pitching in, this flavor packed frybread spot is one of my fave in west mesa. As a supporter of Hope and her family since before the beginning I can not say enough about this powerful woman, her family, her culture and her food! The spot is in mesa drive, has a newly added community room and patio and also has a retail element for local artists. Nothing says community like Hopes Frybread. Go today! 144 S Mesa Dr # E, Mesa, AZ 85210 hopesfrybread.com

Yelp
It's nice to have a frybread option out in the East Valley. I'd been wanting to try Hope's for awhile, and their order ahead option made this easy. (Although the restaurant space looks like a nice, welcoming space to dine in if I bring the husband back.) I had the original Navajo Taco. Everything about it met expectations and was enjoyable. They have a couple of savory options and several sweet frybread choices but not much beyond that on the menu. Hopefully you know you're here for the frybread!

Yelp
5/4/24: HEADS UP! it is not as small as it looks. There is an additional seating room to the left ... but no one will probably tell you that. So, we stopped in this particular Saturday for an early dinner, around 4 o'clock. It is clearly a new building as many of the suites are still being built; the parking lot is a nice size. We walked in and I thought, wow, it's a small place. There were two, four-people tables, and one for eight, plus maybe about eight or 12 seats at the counter. The gal at the register did not smile at any of us. That was a bit off-putting, and def not a good start to the experience. We ordered our meals and sat the the eight-person table as the other two were taken. The counter area was full. I saw three other people back there, beside the register gal. None of them were smiling. The only gal that I actually did see crack a smile was the one who brought us our food. Shortly after this, a large group of people came in. We all looked at each other, wondering where they were going to sit (we did NOT know about the extra seating behind the wall that we sat at). They placed their orders and were milling around the fountain drink machine. About seven minutes later, one of the guys at the counter turned around and told them about the extra room for seating. Really? So you have four people behind the counter, seeing all these customers standing around, taking up space, blocking the fountain drinks, and you're standing there talking to other customers at the counter the entire time and it takes you that long to tell these poor people "oh, there's some more seats in the back room". Wow, just wow. This lack of customer care, and the fact that only one out of four workers smiled, is why Hope's gets three stars, not more. The food was good, but the service, not so much.

Diele K.

Yelp
What a beautifully owned local business! Love the mural that is in this location, and that it's beautifully represented as a Pokestop in the Pokemon Go app (if anyone plays). The environment inside was relaxed with excellent service. I barely sat down, and a plate of a delicious vegetarian Frybread was presented to me! Never had said quick service before. Also, I love that they list the vegetarian options, and had a great visit. I'll definitely be back and already told my Yelp bestie to come check out with me soon.

Denise M.

Yelp
I love fry bread. I liked the food here, but I admit I wasa little disappointed that the Navajo taco was topped with salsa, rather than the red chili that I'm used to--but maybe that's just a New Mexico thing. It was good, though, and the fry bread was so yummy crispy/chewy the way it should be. I love the mural of who I assume is Hope, and all of the artwork on the wall. I'm sure this will become a regular lunch place for me.

Tim K.

Yelp
Great place with super food. Every bite was a treat whether you were licking your fingers or using a fork. Hopes opens at 10:30 and there were folks waiting at the door for them to open. I highly recommend Hopes for a unique, tasty eating experience.

Patience J.

Yelp
I'm so happy that Keith Lee visited a local Mesa native fry bread restaurant! Admittedly this gave me the push to try it out even though I had been wanting to try it for a while! Me and my mom went the day after Keith Lee visited because we both work at another Mesa restaurant that he visited and know that the Keith Lee effect is real and wanted to be some of the first in line! Hope herself is so sweet and immediately you can tell she puts so much love into her food. We tried the navajo taco and the fry bread with honey and both were absolutely delicious. We also loved all of the artwork and little things for sale inside, such a perfect place for downtown Mesa!

J S.

Yelp
Love this place so much!!! I am such a fan of Navajo tacos and this place hits so hard. The service is friendly and the buildout and decor is really nice and contemporary. I can't wait to go back!!

Noah S.

Yelp
This was my first experience with Frybread and the bread itself was very good. We had the taco and the burger. The taco was stuffed to the brim and very good. The burger however was good flavor wise, but the cheese was so cold and not melted that it threw off each bite. The sweets we got were mini, but they were the perfect size as an addition to our meal. Honestly, the sweet frybread was the star of the show, I can see myself coming back frequently just for the sweets and would recommend you go just to try them.

Sherry K.

Yelp
This hidden gem is not to be passed on! If you're looking for some comfort food this is the place. I got the Navajo burger it was delicious. We also tried the original Navajo taco. No need to wait in line at the state fair anymore. When I can head over to Mesa, AZ to enjoy Hope's Frybread restaurant. It's super clean and the staff is really nice! I will definitely be back to try the green chile stew.

Ai S.

Yelp
We tried the Navajo taco and the sweet one with honey and powdered sugar. They were so flavorful, and the bread was soft. The seating area is nice and clean. The games on the tables were a plus too. Staff is friendly. Would definitely come back!

Christa M.

Yelp
I have found my favorite Fry Bread place!! Pulling can be a little sketch since the whole front parking lot is under construction but do not worry, the back is open! We walked in and we were greeted right away. We ordered a total of three frybreads. A rasberry one and two of the originals (honey and sugar). My total was about $18. We sat down and waited. The inside is really nice and has a very pretty mural on the wall. There were three tables as well where you can eat in if you'd like. The employees were friendly and looked happy to be there, I think they were all family. We took the fry bread home and and it was delicious! It had a nice crisp to it and just the right amount of toppings / sauce. Definitely check them out if you're looking for fry bread! They also have salty options!

Mark M.

Yelp
Still great food, service and the new art work and signs really make it a place to visit.

Kathy B.

Yelp
I so wanted to like this place but was sadly disappointed with my Navajo Taco that I got for takeout. As a result of the beans on top, the flatbread was thin and soggy at the bottom and rather chewy. The whole production also lacked flavor.

Eryn W.

Yelp
Hope's Frybread is so delicious that we ate there twice in one day! The Najavo Taco is full of flavor and my favorite. The service was friendly and we enjoyed the open view to the kitchen. Watching our meal being made was fascinating. Hope was there on our second visit. We got to talk with her and the first impression of her is that she is warm, friendly and inviting, just like her resturant. I love supporting small locally owned businesses.

Rebekah H.

Yelp
Great spot for fry bread! I tried the Navajo taco and a mini sweet fry bread. We went at dinner time and the line was out the door. This place has become a destination in Mesa due to their freshly made food and friendly service. I'm so happy to have this place nearby.

Vivian Q.

Yelp
soft good frybread. it's been yearssss since i've had frybread. last memory was having frybread in elementary school at school fairs, my comparison is a bit hazy. overall this frybread was good but lacked a little salt/flavor. i added the shredded cheese to the top of it from my Too Good To Good order pick up there. in my Too Good To Go pick up order for $5 they gave me a liquidy bowl of beans and half a pint of shredded cheese. i didn't consume the beans but used the cheese for my Navajo taco from them. + also placed the Navajo taco in my air fryer to crisp it up.

Robin P.

Yelp
The fry bread was fabulous. The service was up to excellence. The ambiance was wonderful.

Marc L.

Yelp
So I'm starting to learn more as I get to "know the ropes" in the Phoenix Valley. One of the facts I've learned is that "Indian fry bread tacos" are bland and actually king of boring. I know, I know. That's blasphemous in The Valley of the Sun, but it's true. They're just not great. They're bland because it's just ground beef, barely-seasoned pinto beans, lettuce and tomato, and a sprinkle of cheese. All of it piled on a huge fry bread circle. It's like the classic Taco Bell crispy taco but with less seasoning and substitute fry bread for the tortilla. I say that because, as a result, I'm probably not the best judge of an Indian fry bread taco place. I think they bland globs of tastelessness. Now, having said that, the fry bread itself is excellent here. It's pillowy and fresh and thick. It has a nice flavor- though it's bland by design- and is a respectable size. They make it fresh so it's pliable and doughy. So if fry bread is your thing, definitely try this one. I won't necessarily come back just because the tacos don't do anything for me, and I've had them everywhere. To me they're all the same. What sets them apart is the fry bread and this place has good fry bread. If I were to come back, I'd try the fry bread burger which sounds intriguing. Also, I like the dessert version of fry bread which has powdered sugar and honey and is like a big beignet. In New Mexico, these are called sopapillas, though Arizona sticks to the "fry bread" name. So overall, it's good. The folks at the counter weren't especially good or bad. They looked tired and didn't offer much in the way of recommendations. To be fair, there are just two things to order here: a fry bread taco or a fry bread burger. Well, or fry bread with sugar and dipping sauce. So they didn't need to say much. The place is clean, the price is Bidenomics high since all food prices are soaring. I'd say, as fry bread tacos go, this one is good.

Michael F.

Yelp
Well, well, well, Buckle up! Adventure calls because we're about to take a journey to Hope's Frybread, and trust me, it's a ride you won't forget! First things first, let's talk about the menu. It's simple, but don't let that fool you because the dishes are jam-packed with flavor. And the best part? Everything can be made vegan or vegetarian! The employee said that they swap out meat for portabello mushroom, which I have to say is a pretty darn good substitute. I mean, who needs meat when you've got mushrooms, right? But what really sets Hope's Frybread apart is their fusion approach to ingredients. They take a Native American staple food and mix it up with different cultural ingredients, creating some truly unique dishes. The Asian Persuasion Frybread with chicken and pineapple is a flavor explosion according to my mom. She said it has a kick of spice. Now, I have to admit, I did try the vegetarian Navajo Frybread Taco and while it was delicious, I did feel like it was missing a little something. The portabello mushrooms! You know what else? A little more cheese! So, dear Hope's Frybread, if you're reading this, please sprinkle a little extra cheese on top for me next time, and please don't forget the portabello mushrooms. I thought it was the substitute, but instead. I got all beans. (sad face) But let's talk about dessert because, oh boy, did we have a treat! We tried the Banana with Nutella, which was an interesting mix of an Italian chocolate spread with tropical fruit. It's like Italy and Hawaii had a love child, and that love child was delicious. I mean, who knew that Nutella and bananas on a Frybread would go so well together? Overall, I have to say that Hope's Frybread restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The price is right, the flavors are on point, and the fusion approach to ingredients is a welcome change from your usual dining experience. So, whether you're a vegan, a meat lover, or just someone who loves good food, head on over to Hope's Frybread.

Mstng O.

Yelp
The fry bread was perfectly crispy and just the right amount of oily. I got the lamb. It was delicious. I surprised myself by eating the whole thing. My friends all got the regular Navajo tacos and loved them. They also got the Nutella and banana fry bread to share. High fives all around.

Bernadette M.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Hope's and it did not disappoint! Lots of parking. We came on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't busy like a line out the door but full of customers. Service- we were greeted nicely when we walked in. You order at the counter and then find a seat. They bring your food to you. Ambiance - nice, huge mural with a few tables and chairs around the counter. Clean and new. I like how the kitchen is open so you can see them cook. They played country music which I wasn't a fan of but no big deal. It's all pref. Lols Eats- my sister and I split the Navajo taco. The frybread was warm, delicious with a great chew to it. The toppings were plenty but I did add a lil salt and pepper. Just needed a tinge more seasoning otherwise good. Also split a frybread with honey and powdered sugar. So good, we inhaled everything! I def recommend coming here if you want some good Indian fry bread! It's the closest spot to us from Gilbert. I don't know of another restaurant that sells frybread other than in Phoenix.

Shawn S.

Yelp
Holy smokes, if you like fry bread this is the place to stop. The service was quick and friendly. I just wish the interior dining was larger. I will have to make this a frequent stop.

Tim S.

Yelp
Saw this place on Arizona Highways and decided it was a must stop next time we were in the Phoenix area. Friendly staff and delicious food. We both had the Navajo Taco which is a lot of food but I had no problem cleaning my plate. Fresh ingredients built upon the made when you order fry bread with a foundation of pinto beans cooked using Hope's Grandma's recipe. We sat at the counter which allows you to watch the staff at work preparing the various dishes. They also have hamburgers served Taco style in Fry Bread as well as Mutton Stew on Monday afternoons. Didn't save room for the dessert fry bread, but definitely will enjoy that next time as they look delicious!

Yelp
This place smells great. There's a great vibe with music and a full restaurant of people. I'm looking forward to eating my Navajo taco. I will go back to Hope's Fried bread.

Yelp
I have been to Hope's a few times now. The food is always yummy. I love the dessert frybreads, any flavor is delicious, and the fact you can get a mini for dessert with your meal is perfect. Atmosphere is always welcoming, bright and fun. Awesome place to grab a unique meal. Try the Philly cheesesteak frybread. (It might be hidden Menu)

Yelp
Interesting. I think this wasn't what I was expecting. But it was something fun to try. It's family owned and they were really nice.

Yelp
What a fantastic family owned restaurant to give my money to. The person who took my orders name was Ian, and they were super sweet and funny. I never give a tip for to go orders, but I did today for them because they were so awesome. I have had fry bread before but I had never had it here so I asked lots of questions that they were able to answer, including one that one of the women who is cooking was able to answer. Definitely come by and check it out. If you've never had fry bread it is absolutely amazing and they do it so well here. Treat yourself!

Yelp
So much food! Very happy with this find! Everything is prepared fresh and is delicious. You don't have to choose between sweet and savory, just order your savory entree and add a mini sweet one for dessert for just a few bucks! Very kind service. I'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
I love Navajo Tacos and have wanting to try this new place in Mesa. It's the first Navajo Taco that I have ever had without ground beef on it. I also thought it was a little over priced. Service was good. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I will probably come back for just a Frybread but will not order another Navajo Taco.
