The 14 Best Fried Chicken Spots In Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"When you’re showing visiting friends a taste of Atlanta fried chicken, Hop's in the touristy Ponce City Market is a smart go-to. The chicken here is the prototypical example of what good fried chicken should be—snappy breaded skin surrounding moist, fresh-tasting meat. You can buy your chicken as a single piece (thigh, breast, or drum) or as a half- or full-bird order. We suggest pairing it with a soft Parker House roll for a quick lunchtime fix. Just skip the regrettably bland sides (nasty cole slaw and tasteless mac and cheese), and search the food hall for side dishes elsewhere. We suggest fries from H&F Burger or a salad from Bibi." - jacinta howard

Google
Gave this place a chance as it looked like a pretty authentic chicken place. Didn't look at the reviews beforehand, but now I think I should have. I ordered the special chicken sandwich and the fried chicken livers. The chicken sandwich was not properly made. It was missing the coleslaw and the sauce. Fortunately, the fried chicken livers came with a separate container of sauce, which I added to the sandwich. Together, it was pretty tasty, but I should not have been the one to make my own sandwich. The fried chicken livers were tasty, but because I had to use a large portion of the sauce on my sandwich, there wasn't enough left for them. Overall, it speaks to some issues in the kitchen that the food wasn't properly put together. I made no requests or alterations, so everything should have been standard. Whoever is training the staff should make sure that food standards are being kept up for all items. If you order from here, make sure to double-check all items before leaving. It is not a place I could recommend, especially when it is surrounded by much better options in the market.

Google
My experience at Hop's Chicken was extremely disappointing. The food was dry, overly salty, and honestly just horrible. Ordering itself was fine, but the staff clearly had no idea how to put an order together. It took an absurd amount of time just to get some chickens—food that was already prepared—into a paper bag. I genuinely thought they were getting chickens from near by farm and butchering. That's how long it took. The staff seemed completely untrained and confused, and the price definitely didn’t match the quality or experience. Overall, it was a frustrating visit. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Google
Possibly one of the best chicken sandwich out there. This was comparable or slightly better than Chick-Fil-A’s and Popeye’s. Deserving of the chef receiving the James Beard award. Don’t forget to use the provided sauce on the side.

Google
Stopped here for a quick bite. The service was friendly enough and the food arrived quickly. The food is not made to order, so if that’s not your thing it’s something to note. The chicken nuggets were a great size and price. The chicken biscuit was good and had decent flavor. As for the black eye peas… sadly they are a pass for me. They lacked seasoning and flavor. The house made sauces were good. We had the honey mustard and bbq sauces.

Google
Atlanta = chicken friend You can’t go wrong with this one, the chicken was amazing, very tender and very well seasoned. The price is worth the food and I do recommend you accompany it with a Mac n cheese. It’s a great place to grab a snack (a good snack) and a great price.

Google
went there to eat lunch due to seeing lines of people but contemplated to eat due to ratings. could not say much about the staff but when i asked about size of the tender staff told they were large so i decided to get 3 pcs and when i opened up the box sizes were more like fingers (prob one normal tender split to 3 pcs) and when ordered the wings by single pieces, only one was a reasonable size and two were about the third... also when we tried to order the fried apple pie we were told they don't sell no more and the printed menu was outdated but you can see the fried apple pie right at center of the wall menu highly visible. now I believe the reason for ratings.

Google
The food was good but the customer service was terrible. I simply ask for a bag for my food and the “manager” walked over dry and with attitude like “we don’t have bags “ in which I’m looking at bags right in my face and I ask for ketchup and he was said “we don’t have ketchup “ and standing like he wanted to fight me. Someone in corporate reach out to me because Im very displeased with a customer service.

Google
Went on a sunday yesterday with my boyfriend, to start off they had no nuggets which i didn't make a fuss about but... then when we got our food my tenders were extremely dry and barley had any taste. my boyfriends chicken sandwich was the exact same. also 4 dollars for a kids sized drink is absolutely insane. neither of us finished our food and he finished his drink within 2 minutes. had it not been a sunday we would've went to cfa because $35 for two drinks, 3 tenders, and a chicken sandwich is crazy for the quality you're given. we made a complaint and they were nice enough to give us a refund and while we were at the register a woman was looking at the menu however we told her not to waste her time or money but i wouldn't go back.

Yelp
IM EGG-HAUSTED! After walking around in the Georgia heat, on the BeltLine. We grew very hungry. Winded up walking back to Ponce City Market for a bite to eat. Fried chicken is a favorite for us so when we found Hop's Chicken it was a give in that we were going there. We both ordered the chicken biscuit and a side of coleslaw. The entire thing was thick. And piled high with chicken tenders. The biscuit was super dry. This was NOT your mother's biscuits. Imagine a Popeyes biscuit with the sandpaper texture... similar to that. You are going to need something to drink to wash the biscuit down with! If you like vinegar based coleslaw then the coleslaw at Hops will be right up your alley. I really liked it but my partner was not. Service was very fast and easy and the turn around between ordering and receiving our food wasn't too bad at all. I'd come back to Hops, but will definitely have a drink prepared for that biscuit.

Yelp
Great fried chicken and the portion to price is not bad at all. Very affordable! Service was fast and my thigh was nice and juicy! My chicken breast was a little dry and the tenders as well. The biscuit was so good and the Mac n cheese was also very tasty. I could eat the biscuits all day! I did not care for the slaw as it was vinegar based. I am more of a mayonnaise slaw kinda guy! I would try it again I really enjoyed my chicken thigh!

Yelp
I decided to give this place a try and got the chicken plate. For $10 I figured if I didn't like it it wasn't too much of a loss. The food was ready pretty much immediately and no wait in line. The cashier was kind and helpful. Chicken - 8/10 I'm not a fan of white meat but will still eat it. Very juicy and lots of meat. Not super hot - perhaps it wasn't under a heating lamp to keep hot. Mac and Cheese - 7/10 I prefer baked with a crispy top and this one was definitely on the creamy side. Literally felt like biting into a block of cream cheese. Not bad but not my preferred style. Also just warm and not hot. Coleslaw - I don't like coleslaw so I didn't try it Biscuit - 5/10 I have a thing against dry biscuits. Personally, I think biscuits are meant to be buttery, warm, soft inside and flaky outside. This one was not buttered, dry and slightly hard on the outside, but soft inside. It was only worth eating the very inside part where it was soft. Having butter brushed on the outside would make a huge difference. Not mad at it but I wanted something cheap and filling I'd probably come back.

Yelp
Really disappointed in my choice today. I've had hops before, a few years ago and the experience was amazing! However, that wasn't what I encountered today. The chicken wasn't fresh, the livers seemed to be recooked, and the slaw was subpar at BEST!!!

Yelp
This is a little fried chicken stand inside of Ponce city market. I had been wanting to try them for a while, so was excited about the opportunity last time I visited. The cashiers were nice and helped answer some questions for me. The food was decent. The biscuit was HUGE! Like two put together and had a good buttery taste. That might have been the best part for me. The Mac n cheese was good, the chicken was fine, and the coleslaw was fine. I didn't try the pepper. I know there's an inflated price due to the location, but I would have honestly preferred Popeyes. the food wasn't bad, but definitely wasn't anything to write home about.
google avatar

Yelp
More protein spot. The 5 chicken tenders with BBQ sauce. $12.51 The chicken tenders are big and really tender meat, moist too. The bbq sauce isn't bad, a hot sauce option would be better.

Maeson O.

Yelp
it was great food, the chefs special chicken sandwich was phenomenal! I never thought that coleslaw would be a good addition to a sandwich but it was gas

Yelp
I walked over on my lunch break and ordered the three strips for $9.99. The chicken was great. I wanted a side of Mac & cheese to go with the strips, but I realized it was $7.99. I am in disbelief that all of their sides ( around $2.99 to $4.00) are served in the same size container but the price is vastly different for the mac & cheese. That's WILD! Completely turned me off.

Yelp
Yum! I had the wings and Mac and cheese. The wings i found to be really flavorful. I would definitely recommend trying it out. I wish they had dessert but were out at the time
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
Chicken is hot and fresh and my tenders were also juicy. The service fast as the wait time was under 7 minutes for a Sunday. I also tried their apple pie. Also yummy and not too sweet.
google avatar

Brilliant Chipo P.

Yelp
The fried chicken is fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was the perfect spices and salt too. The lemonade was too too sweet though. I had to dilute it several times with ice and it still tasted too sweet. There is no indoor seating, so I got my food for takeout.
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
Greasy and tasteless. The Mac and Cheese was blah like eating warm cream cheese and the coleslaw tasted like nothing. The chicken was ok I had to spit out some pieces that were too chewy. It was cheap only 25.99 for 2 people, the service was nice but I would not go back again. It also came with some apple pastries those were ok.
google avatar

Yelp
This spot is inside the ponce city market, which is a really cool spot to visit if you're in the ATL. I wanted to get the half chicken, but they ran out, so I had to order by piece and got 2 wings and 2 thighs. The chicken was average at best. It was not crispy enough and seemed to be sitting under heat lamps. There wasn't any flavor on the chicken either, which was disappointing. With so many food options here, and all the chicken spots in the ATL, you can find better.

Yelp
We grabbed a bite from here after stopping in Ponce market. We walked around the bottom floor for about 10ish minutes before deciding to try hops. We split a chicken biscuit chicken sandwich. As well as a lemonade and a sweet tea. We grabbed an extra cup and split the two drinks half and half, most definitely do this so delicious. The sandwich was honestly really dry, the source of this definitely being the biscuit, the chicken itself was really really good. I would recommend getting just chicken over the sandwich. After ordering we waited about 10 minutes for our food which wasn't bad but people around us were getting very anxious and irritated, seemingly like they had been waiting for a long while. The ambiance was chill and lively, as it is a food market. I don't know if I would recommend as it was just okay and there are so many options in this market.
google avatar

Milo L.

Yelp
Very subpar fried chicken. The line is always super long but the end product is not very flavorful and quite bland. Not worth the trip.

Yelp
So the few time i've been to Ponce City Market,i've never eaten here. However had seen pics of the food and it looked good. So i stopped by. I ordered 3 piece tender, blackeyed pea's and coleslaw. Sadly they were out of BEP's. I changed it to Mac n Cheese. That turned out to be the best decision actually. The chicken tenders were great. They tasted fresh. The coleslaw was great. I tasted a hint of viniger. I also seemed to enjoy the small texture of the slaw. Now the Mac n Cheese. That was in a leage of its own. There was a sharp taste to it. So im assuming one of the cheese's they use was sharp chedder. I honestly would have been fine with just Tender's and Mac N Cheese. If your a lover of mac n cheese, definitely give there is a try. I would put it up there with some of the best i've ever had. While i'm glad the mac n cheese was good. I did ding them 1 point for not having what i orginally ordered. They also had no piri piri sauce when i requested it. Yep i will definitely be coming back for some more of that Mac N Cheese.

Yelp
First time here in the area and was overwhelmed by the food choices within Ponce City Market! I went for a simple meal: a chicken biscuit, a side of macaroni and cheese, and a Mexican Coke. The chicken in the biscuit was seasoned really well, and I really liked it! The biscuit was deliciously and a little crumbly, but because of the dryness, I realized a little too late that I should have ordered some jam for it. The macaroni and cheese needed a little more salt, and a little more cheese to get that gooeyness that mac and cheese needs. And the Mexican bottle of Coke is always a classic touch to any meal. Ordering was easy and picking up the food was quick. The ambiance of the entire Food Hall was busy and filled with many delicious smells. I'm very glad I had this as my first bite of the day
google avatar

Ashu M.

Yelp
We went to Ponce City Market this morning and I decided to try the biscuit with chicken. Definitely like Chick-fil-A better. The biscuit was so dry, I ordered buttered version but couldn't detect any butter. Chicken was dryish and they didn't have any hot sauce. They did give some sauce and that made it a bit better. Unless you are going for a fried chicken meal, I suggest you go to Chick-fil-A for the breakfast sandwich.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
Service was nice and the chicken had good texture and flavor, however it was way too salty for me. I ordered 2 thighs and 1 drumstick. I got to taste a small bite of their chicken sandwich and the bread had good flavor and the chicken was nice and tender, I'd recommend getting that over the fried chicken alone. Also, their sweet ice tea was extremely sweet. If you're in the mood for fried chicken while strolling around Ponce Market it's worth trying as it's not bad at all but I wouldn't come here just for just the chicken.
google avatar

Halcyone W.

Yelp
Sorry I wanted to love this place but...... long lines are usually an indicator of good eats however not the case this time. The wait was extremely long and my order was mixed up with another customer. The chicken was very greasy and lacked flavor. The fries were blah... the best thing was the Mac and cheese. I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend and definitely way overpriced.
google avatar

Rhonda M.

Yelp
We ordered chicken sandwiches and 1 wing just to see how it tasted. We definitely should've ordered more wings, they were cooked to perfection! The Mac and cheese was ok, the lemonade was so sweet we diluted it with water twice and it still had flavor to it. The chicken sandwiches were way better than chic-fil-a ANYDAY! The wait was long but we'll worth it! Great customer service, organized, clean and I liked the condiments to go that were in the jars near the counter. We were so hungry we forgot to take pics of our sandwiches but go grab yourself a few! We'll be back for sure!!
google avatar

Mary W.

Yelp
My breakfast biscuit was fresh, hot and delicious. The workers were expedient and friendly. The price was within pricing of other breakfast biscuits. And most of all it was delicious.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
Very good chicken, Mac n cheese, and sauce! I love the crusty bits on the Mac n cheese. A little pricey for Mac compared to chicken, but that's how I knew it would be good. I wish they had a potato side (fries, salad, mashed, wedges, something)! The worker was friendly and fast. The only ding was the nuggets I got, while seasoned well, were a little tough.
google avatar

Khalilah A.

Yelp
Stopped by on a busy Saturday and got the chicken biscuit and it was solid: soft, juicy, flavorful & HOT. The wait wasn't bad, 5 minutes or so. Under $10, I'd return.
google avatar

Jody M.

Yelp
I was not far from Ponce City Market and wanted fried chicken. I'd never tried Hops so why not. I could give the drumsticks a 5. They were delicious. Also their lemonade is on point. But I also ordered the chicken livers. Oh the horror. They were horrendous. First off where were the chicken livers under that burnt batter? It was all burnt crispy pieces. Word to the chef you don't cook livers that long. I'll be back for the bone in chicken.

Sage C.

Yelp
If you are used to eating good food... do not come here. The chicken was bland and the biscuit was very dry. The service was pretty fast and the aesthetic of the restaurant was okay.
google avatar

Savannah J.

Yelp
Chicken was greasy, tasteless and the service was horrible! The chicken was sitting under a hot lamb keeping it warm. I hate that i totally wasted my money
google avatar

Pete A.

Yelp
Went to Georgia on a business trip. The last day of zeros able to spend some time with my sister who lives in Atlanta. We were hungry, and she recommended this place . I had the fried chicken sandwich. It was cooked just right not overly seasoned. And it didn't have a whole bunch of fried batter covering it which was a nice change. The staff was very friendly . I would go again
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
The chicken would be really good if they'd cut back on the salt. The coating is light and crispy. But the meat tastes like it's been soaked in salt water. They gave us burnt apple pie.
google avatar

Prianka S.

Yelp
Had much higher expectations for this especially since I'm visiting from out of town and was so excited for southern fried chicken. However, the chicken was so dry I couldn't even finish it. The biscuit was delicious though
google avatar

Arielle D.

Yelp
Hop's Chicken is located in the dining area of Ponce Street Market and it is a takeout spot. There is tons of seating in the market and a bar directly across from the stall if you want to grab a beer, which is exactly what I did lol. It's not a surprise that Hop's Chicken always has a line. I toured the market a few times and decided to try the food here because of the line and affordable prices! Also since I am from the east coast I was craving some Southern fried chicken and mac and cheese. Hop's didn't disappoint, the chicken was tender, crispy, and seasoned to perfection-- I didn't expect it to taste so good, the mac and cheese was good as well. Although there was a line, the servers were quick and efficient, I only waited 5 mins for my order. If you ever visit Ponce Street Market check them out.

Yelp
A friend of mine has been talking about the chicken from this location for over a month. As such, I had to give it a try. During a day of ripping and running, we stopped in to give it a try. Upon walking up, it was great that the menus were hanging on the wall as I was able to review it while I was in line. Though this is a "Chicken Spot" it doesn't have the traditional smell of fried chicken lingering in the air. Kudos for the good ventilation. LoL! Once at the window, I ordered 3 Wings and a Biscuit. For the record, I was trying to be good, however, I will admit that I wanted EVERYTHING on the menu. All of the food items that were on the serving table looked awesome. The Mac n Cheese was gooey, the Greens were Greening, and the Fried Apple Pie was Appleing. LoL! After you place your order you stand to the side and wait for your name to be called. Once my name was called, I got my order and found a table so we could embark on this meal that was smelling awesome through the bag! The Wings: Perfectly fried. Nice ratio of Meat to Batter. Crispy outside. Moist Meaty Middle. The wings were nothing short of amazing. The seasoning blend that is used really allowed for the chicken to be the star of the day. The taste hits your taste buds and provides a pleasure-filled chew for the duration of the chew. We are talking bite after bite enjoyment and flavor. The Biscuit: Not too heavy. Not hard. Perfect crunch on the bottom with the soft center that you expect to pair with a wing. This is Buttery Bread Biscuit GOODNESS and worth every since carb. LoL! Overall, this was a great decision and the wings are amazing. If there was a Drive-Thru I would be here every day. LoL! However, even with having to park and come inside, I will be here OFTEN. LoL! Food- 10/10 Environment- Food Court Theme 10/10 Service- 10/10

Yelp
I know this is a grab and go place, but I had one of the worst food experiences ever here the other night. We went up to order and the cashier taking our orders was just awful. She had a really bad attitude and was being extremely rude and difficult with us when we were just trying to give her our order (she was rude to everyone who came to order). Really disappointing. Don't know what her problem was, but needless to say we didn't tip her. Heads up, 18% is auto-selected as the tip so be aware of that. The food itself was not very good. The slaw was gross, and the mac and cheese was bad, considering it's very hard to get macaroni and cheese wrong. The cashier (very rudely) informed me the chicken biscuit was all gone, so I got the chicken sandwich instead. It was a big meh. The one positive thing was that it was all fairly cheap especially considering it was in ponce. Won't ever be back
google avatar

Nova Z.

Yelp
I did not expect the fried chicken here to be this FIRE! We came here on a Saturday, so it was super packed, with the line going past the next stall. Waiting in line took forever, but once we ordered the wait wasn't too bad. The menu here is pretty basic, but done well. The portions aren't huge, but it's pretty fairly priced, especially compared to the other food options in Ponce City Market. The fried chicken (in any form) is just to die for, so succulent and crispy. The chicken thigh was definitely my favorite though. I did not have issues with service that other reviewers seemed to have, so just based on my experience, I would definitely come back when given the chance!

Yelp
First of all.... Ponce city market is one of my favourite places to go to in Atlanta! So many good spots but don't worry I got all the reviews for you. Plenty of parking (some are free some are paid... look around). This sandwich at Hops Chicken was okkaayyy... it definitely wasn't bad... they forgot to put mayo so it was dry. If I were to go back I would get sauce on my sandwich. The chicken was well cooked, ingredients were fresh.
google avatar

Dannah D.

Yelp
Driest chicken I've ever had. I asked the guy if the. Hi tenders were soft or crunch and he said the middle. It's definitely cardboard style.
google avatar

Andy Y.

Yelp
Good: - Fried chicken was good. Not as crunchy as a place like Popeyes but that isn't really what I was expecting. The meat was really hot, juicy and flavorful. - the service was really great. The dude who took my order was informative, polite, and fun to talk to. - Piri piri sauce was fragrant and had a teeny lil kick. quite good - the hand pies were good. Nice texture with the crust/pastry OK: - The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy but under-seasoned; I added some salt - Cole slaw was good but not exceptional - the other sauces that weren't Piri Piri Bad: the parker house rolls were dry and crunchy Price: considering this is in Ponce, it was pretty good value for $$$. 1/2 a fried chicken, 2 large sides, 2 rolls, and two apple pies for $27 is not bad.

Amani H.

Yelp
Went about an hour before close and they didn't have anything except for thighs. Girl...... just close at that point.

Yelp
Delicious (and affordable!) fried chicken, but the staff definitely needs more training. Walking through Ponce City Market can be quite overwhelming, especially when deciding on a place to eat at. There are just so many options! As soon as we saw fried chicken, we were sold. Hop's Chicken also had quite the line, which made us think it *had* to be because they were just so darn good. And yes, their food was phenomenal, but the line was more due to the staff being so slow and careless. The good: The food. The fried chicken was phenomenal. It was cooked to perfection, crispy, and everything I wanted and more. My partner had the chef's chicken sandwich and he loved it, too. For what we paid, we were very satisfied. The mac&cheese was also delicious. You could taste the Gruyère in every bite. The bad: The service. The people working here just seemed like they did not care, at all. The cashier barely made an effort, we struggled even placing the order because she was so out of it. As I waited for my food, I saw plenty of people come back because their order was missing an item or two, or it wasn't prepared how they asked. I had to send my own order back 3 times, because they kept missing items -- the sauce at first, then the dessert, and then some of the chicken. Although they seemed to be over-staffed, no one was doing much except chatting and laughing while customers waited for their orders to be fulfilled, which was a bit frustrating. All in all, 5 stars for the food, 1 star for the service.

Yelp
Chicken is good, but their service could use some improvement. Best bet: order chicken, go grab a beer from somewhere else and then enjoy.
google avatar

Eric F.

Yelp
I had two chicken legs and the fried apple pie. The chicken was good, but nothing unique. The pie was very good. It is part of the food court, so the people watching is great.
google avatar

Stephanie P.

Yelp
The service was really fast and the menu had plenty of options. I had the chicken tenders and maybe I missed the sauce options but I definitely could've used some. There's plenty of seating around the food hall and a relaxed casual atmosphere.
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Good for a food hall type restaurant. I tried the chicken sandwich, fried apple pie and sweet tea. The sandwich was average, it came on a toasted bun with sweet pickles. The meat was juicy and seasoned well enough to appeal to the masses. I would suggest adding some toppings. The iced tea was good, not too sweet or too watered down. My favorite was definitely the apple pie, it was light glazed, which gave it an added sweet kick without being overbearing.

Yelp
First time visiting Ponce City Market and I was super impressed with the quantity of food options. Hops was kind of right by the entrance and the prices seemed reasonable so I decided to order from there. (I actually started reading the reviews after I'd ordered and discovered Hops is quite an Atlanta institution.). They don't have a big menu; basically fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, side items like cole slaw & mac and cheese, and drinks, (soda, lemonade, beer,etc.). You order at a window, they take your name, and then you pick-up at another window around the corner. I ordered the original chicken sandwich which was $5.99. There were 3 sauces to choose from: honey mustard, buttermilk ranch, and Frim-Fram. ( I had never heard of this, so the girl at the counter described it as kind of like a garlic-aioli sauce.). I asked for the ranch and the Frim-Fram sauce since I wasn't sure which would be best. My sandwich was ready in about 5 minutes and I picked it up at the pick -up window. It was warm & delicious! (Very similar to Chick-fil-A, but with different sauces and lots of bread and butter pickles on top which gave it a unique taste.). The bun was also very fresh and I had a very ample portion of the 2 sauces. I think I preferred the Frim-Fram. (I researched the sauce after dining and the name originates from a Nat King Cole song. I thought It had a creamy tomato flavor with added spices.) So, overall no complaints....fast friendly service and a delicious breaded chicken sandwich. I can see why this place has so many fans! The setting is also thriving.

Yelp
Great quick bites is what we enjoyed at Hops during our ATL trip. While visiting the Ponce City Market, we had to try a small chicken sandwich on a biscuit. It was tasty, small but thick cut chicken breast fried in a flavorful breading. The biscuit itself was good, firm enough to hold that chicken but not too firm as it crumbled at times (which isn't a bad thing). We had fresh jalapeños on ours and added a packet of honey and hot sauce.

Yelp
Dryyyyyyyyyyy! From the attitudes of the employees, to the chicken and Mac n cheese! Honey, no... literally. My girlfriend wanted literal honey and they were out. Also out of biscuits.. and ranch.. like huh? The employees said "this isn't a black place, so ... to me asking for a side of ranch, which is listed on their menu as a side sauce. I will neverrrrrr come back here again. Promise. The chicken thighs are super small to be 4 bucks each and the mac n cheese was so dry, we had to take it back for another one. I'll pass on this place. Too many great other options to SETTLE. Waste of $27 buck in my opinion and I'm still hungry.

Yelp
In a word, disappointing and fits right in with its tourist trap neighbors near Williams Sonoma. For a chef's special sandwich it's a huge letdown The meat itself is fine. Pickles, slaw, good. Bun and sauce, better. But the breading is not done well. I could have easily made a better sandwich at home. When I regret skipping Chick-Fil-A for twice the enjoyment at half the price, something's wrong. $13 something after tax and tip for a sandwich, it'd better be good. This was just OK.

Yelp
Wow, what a good sandwich. If you're like me and you love a fried chicken sandwich then you're going to love this place. Juicy and really good. I think it would have been better with a sauce if some kind, but I'd definitely eat it again. If you want something without the anti-LGBT baggage like Chic-Fil-A then this is a solid alternative.

Yelp
Fried chicken are the thing to get here. So delicious. I also got the fried liver. AWFUL!!! When it's 75% breading and 25% liver, NO NO NO. The code slaw is good but too much vinegar. The apple pie is the best thing.

Yelp
Grab & go chicken spot inside of Ponce City Market. Chicken sandwich is really good and their bread & butter pickles on the sandwich were good. I was excited to try a chicken biscuit and chicken tenders but they were out of both. Super quick turnaround with the food. Service was okay, not as friendly as other restaurants inside the market. I would go back to hopefully try their chicken biscuit.
