"Part of the Cœur de Megève hotel, this restaurant is synonymous with Alpine elegance, enhanced by means of a contemporary twist. The chef creates modern cuisine using terrific, carefully selected seasonal ingredients. The combinations of local produce, either with citrus fruits (Magland snails, grapefruit, sesame), premium ingredients (parmentier broth and black truffle) or Asian touches work perfectly. The chef is also very much at ease when cooking more traditional dishes, such as saddle of roe deer with pumpkin and redcurrants." - Michelin Inspector

The hotel was absolutely beautiful — elegant, warm, and full of charm. Its location couldn’t be better: truly in the heart of Megève, just as the name promises. Everything is right outside your door, yet the atmosphere inside remains peaceful and refined. What truly stood out, though, was the service: not just impeccable, but above and beyond. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Here, they don’t question your requests — they fulfill them instantly, as smoothly and sweetly as a mountain of sugar.

We recently stayed at Coeur de Megève Hotel, a charming boutique hotel with beautiful architecture and interior design, which we truly appreciated. However, despite the aesthetically pleasing ambiance and welcoming staff, our experience was overshadowed by significant operational and privacy concerns that should not occur in a hotel of this category.||||Serious Privacy Breach in the Spa||||The most alarming issue was a severe privacy violation in the spa area, which is advertised as a fully private space. When reserving a private spa, one expects to enjoy the sauna and shower in absolute seclusion, especially as guests may be in various states of undress. However, we were shocked to find a security camera positioned directly inside the spa room itself—an unacceptable and deeply unsettling intrusion. This raises serious ethical and legal concerns, as no guest should ever feel observed in what is meant to be a completely private and intimate space.||||To make matters worse, the provided water bottle was already empty upon our arrival, a small but telling oversight. Additionally, during our spa session, while we were in the sauna, a staff attendant unexpectedly entered the room to place towels in a storage area. There was absolutely no need for this to happen during our reserved 45-minute private session, as this could and should have been done before or after our visit. This completely defeats the purpose of a “private” spa experience and was frankly quite intrusive.||||Unacceptable Room Service Delay||||Another issue was with room service. After placing an order at 8:00 PM, we placed the tray outside once finished. Shockingly, by 11:30 AM the next day—over 15 hours later—the tray was still sitting there. This level of inattentiveness does not align with the standards expected of a high-end hotel and suggests a lack of attention to detail in service management.||||Rooms Too Small for a Ski Trip||||While we understand that this is a boutique hotel, the smallest room (15m²) is simply not suitable for two guests, particularly on a ski holiday. There was no proper space for luggage, nor sufficient room to hang clothing, making the stay quite impractical. At this price point, a more functional and spacious accommodation should be expected.||||Final Thoughts||||Despite the hotel’s thoughtful design and friendly staff, these operational failures—including the serious breach of privacy in the spa, poor room service efficiency, and lack of space in the rooms—are simply unacceptable at this level. A hotel of this standard should not only deliver excellent service but also prioritize guest privacy and comfort at all times.||||Unfortunately, due to these critical concerns—particularly the privacy violations—we cannot recommend this hotel until these issues are properly addressed.

Small but perfectly formed. Right in the heart of the village - as advertised! The rooms have everything including espresso machine, good hairdryer and decent products in the shower! The shower is also really powerful. Would come back anytime!

Great location, right in the heart of Megève. Rooms are well appointed, some have balconies. Restaurant on site (Beefbar). Breakfast is high quality and a good selection incl freshly made coffees and egg options to order. We have stayed a few times and will be back.

Stayed in a suite which was beautiful and quite big. The bathroom was beautiful and large as well. The front staff was super helpful. When our luggage didn’t arrive on our flight we had sent our only clothes to be cleaned and not only did we have them when we returned from skiing, they did not charge us for this service which was extremely nice. The location could not be more perfect. Walking distance to every restaurant and minutes from the gondola. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

My second worst hotel experience in 40 years. Overall temperature is far too high. Single beds 70cm wide are a shame for the price of a room. Room temperature is so high we needed to let the window open overnight, after two very short nights due to too high temperature and noise in the neighbouring rooms. Breakfast tables are too close and breakfast is too pricy for something standard. The only positive points: the location is excellent, the hotel staff is nice and the rooms are very clean.

Never again!! Our room is an insult for the category Junior Suite. Room too small, no view because it’s just under the roof so our windows were 30 cm and we couldn’t open it because of all the chimneys around us. Bed too small, no shower and impossible to take one in the tub because of the ceiling. Mirrors too low because of the angle of the roof. |And all of that for more than 1.000€ / night. NEVER AGAIN

I had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Cœur de Megève and I highly recommend it. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. A special mention to Mr. Bader and Ms. Sixtine, who were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel itself is beautifully modern, with stylish rooms that are perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. It’s also perfectly located in the heart of Megève, making it easy to explore the town. Don’t miss the Beefbar restaurant – the food is outstanding, and it’s a great spot for lunch or dinner. Plus, the hotel is conveniently close to the gondola, making it ideal for skiing enthusiasts. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I will definitely be back 🫶
