Myself and a group of friends recently stayed here. From start to finish the service was fantastic. They made sure we had a room even though we arrived early, the team made our stay easy, with access to the spa, restaurant booking preferences always secured, both rooms were clean comfortable and fresh, one did have a balcony and the other didn’t, but as a group we had the balcony space, so no issues there. One of the group had an accident on the piste and the team went out of their way to assist him back at the hotel with food and getting around. I highly recommend this hotel for its location and service. Great ski hire shop over the road and it’s definitely ski in ski out. Overall a great place to stay with excellent customer service. Thanks for your hospitality.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I am lactose intolerant and the menu was limited but they made a new dish for me. There was some bother with another resident taking my skies and they helped with that. I would def stay again.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here, the rooms and hotel are beautiful and all of the staff are so kind and welcoming. We arrived late on our first night but they had booked us a table for dinner nonetheless. The food here is amazing as are the views. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Avoriaz is one of the most iconic ski resorts in the world. The Hotel des Dromonts is the initial architectural masterpiece that defined the design language of the entire resort. The fireplace in the lounge area of the hotel is an absolute marvel and delight to enjoy after a ski day. And what did the current owners do? They put a cheap Temu fake flame plastic device, because apparently that saves some money… Shame, absolute disgrace!! *************** Edit after hotel response: I’m a regular and this is the THIRD YEAR that the fireplace wasn’t working. Every year I asked why at the reception desk, every year the same excuse: technical chimney issues. Except once an employee slipped and said ‘too expensive’… This season is the first season the plastic fake flame thing was added. Does it take 3 years to recheck/recondition a chimney? No way. So no, I don’t buy it. This is hotel management being cheap. Just be honest please. As for the restaurant: I personally gave my negative feedback last year also. -> “We’re so sorry, we’ll relay this management“… Nothing changed… Please bring this jewel of a hotel back to the level it deserves!

(I have emailed the hotel twice with no reply hence why I’m having to leave this) Second stay at the hotel after a good First one so we brought the family and took 4 rooms over new years. Dinner would take 3 hours!! Drinks stop at 1000 and even before then trying to get service was impossible. The “special” dinner on New Year’s Eve was almost inedible and again took so long we thought we would miss the midnight fireworks. Apart from the the reception staff are amazing and couldn’t be more helpful and lovely. Good for B&B but no more. The hot tub is cold and there was no massage staff over what you would think is the busiest time of year. I don’t know what went wrong between Feb 2025 and Dec 2025 but it needs addressing.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left all staff (without exception) were very friendly, sincere and accommodating. The breakfasts and evening meal were very good and the location gave very easy access to both the slopes and the nearby bars, restaurants and shops.

Had a lovely time on a late ski break at this hotel. It's kitsch and retro in a really charming way, and very well looked after and clean. The staff were all so polite, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out. The rooms were cosy with lots of cubbyholes to store clothes and ski gear.||Fondue in the restaurant was great (so nice to be able to have fondue for one, for a change!) and there were plenty of options at breakfast every morning, including the creamiest scrambled eggs. I definitely recommend it and I'm planning to come back in the future.||One tip - take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, as the bar across the road is open until the early hours (during ski season) and you can hear their more enthusiastic customers heading home. :)

I booked a visit here to celebrate my partner and my engagement. We didn't stay in the hotel but were able to pop in and book a deep tissue massage with Jean and one other (apologies for forgetting the name). A perfect way to end our week's skiing trip! We both came out feeling amazing and re-energized. We were able to use the spa facilities prior to our booking, so we arrived an hour early. An external hot tub with amazing views is next to a sauna with a steam room and additional sauna inside the spa and basic Gym facilities. Very convenient. There were complimentary refreshments—detox water and pastries—with access to the menu. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We would like to thank you.
