This spot had incredible Bun Bo and fresh salad rolls. The person working was incredibly sweet. The restaurant was right across the light rail station, which was a plus. Would come here again.

Very pleased with the pho and Vietnamese coffee here. The restaurant has a very cozy vibe and the server was attentive. Will definitely be back!

Super whole in the wall. My sisters and I wanted some food good and we came across this place through Yelp/google. We decided to try it. When we first arrived it was extremely difficult to find parking. It is super tight and crowded area. However, it was so worth it!! The food was amazing!!! I wish I took more photos of our food.

This place is affordable, offers tasty food. Everything I had so far were great. My favorite dish here is Duck noodle soup and Vietnamese crape. They also have desserts. I had rice dumpling with mung beans and it was delicious! Went back! We tried coconut ice cream with jelly. Yum!!

If you’re looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant this is it! Food is so authentic and tasty! Not to mention the excellent service. I usually don’t write reviews for restaurants but this one truly deserves a great review. Highly recommended 😌

05/11/23: I had a chance to come back to this great restaurant. I tried the noodle soup with 🦆 and “Goi Cuon” again and both were delicious and tasteful. They never disappointed my taste and I have to come back on some days to try other things It has been a long time since I came to this restaurant, but the food is still delicious. I often get noodles with duck 🦆 and it has been superb, tasteful, and colorful. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who like Vietnamese cuisine

I've heard many great things about this place and I'm glad I finally tried it out today with mom. Spring rolls are very tasty and good size with pretty good peanut sauce. Mom is vegetarian and loved the vegetarian pho, with very good fried tofu and amazing veggie broth. My deluxe beef pho as well was excellent! I really enjoyed the beef broth and generous portion of meat and noodles. This is definitely a hidden gem

Great Service Food was less for the amount paid - only 2 pieces of catfish for nearly $20! You got to be joking. Fish was cooked perfectly. Flavor was more one tone, not complex enough Dad hated his chicken pho as he had his mouth set on broken rice and this place doesn't have that.. chicken was tough and dry for him and broth lacked flavor.. poorly executed for that department.. personally myself, I would not have gotten that because their restaurant name doesn't have any noodle referencing and it is not a thing they specialize in At least we tried.. maybe you'll like it

I loved this spot and highly recommend if you would like some delicious and very fresh food! The service was incredibly friendly, I felt safe and welcome there + the food was phenomenal! The meat was cooked to perfection as well. I look forward to ordering here again

2nd time coming. So friendly! I have a few different requests for my pho (1/2 noodles, no broccoli etc) They are always so accommodating and nice. And the meat skewer (pork) is so tender. I got extra to go home. Will definitely be back again as long as my work contract lasts!!

Don't sleep on this spot, it's a small hole in the wall in a non-descript mall, 10 years in business and family-run. Wife and I came by during our trip to Seattle and visiting again the following day. Simple, herby, meaty broth packed with flavor and perfectly tender duck meat chunks. Make sure to order the duck noodle soup and pho. I've had Viet food all over the US and this is one of the top meals I've had.

Service is attentive. Food is 2.5 not 2 stars, rounded down bc I think the current average is over-inflated. Though I will say that I used to think this place was decent 9 or so years ago. We came back recently bc I didn't have a reason as to why we don't go here. Now I do. Pro: not too sweet, like many Vietnamese restaurants in the area tend to be. Half star just for that. Cons: overall very bland - we tried 8 different dishes and no one enjoyed any of them. We're all Vietnamese. That said, I overheard a (white) couple beside me say it was the best pho they've ever had. So you may need to go there and decide for yourself. Parking sucks bc the spaces are tight so people take multiple spots and there aren't enough spaces to begin with so late arrivals create their own spots that the block cars from leaving. I recommend avoiding the lot altogether and parking a few blocks over on Willow Street.

Super disappointed; there was so many good reviews but my food is the one with a dead fly in it??? I ordered nearly $130 worth of food. The food was mid. It wasn't spectacular or different. The pho deluxe was what I ordered the most of and the soup base is good but the rest was just regular. The delivery driver, I was not impressed with. He dropped the bags of food on the floor stating that the paper bag ripped. The soup was too hot and it leaked making it rip. I don't understand why plastic bags couldn't be provided?

Wow, I so wished that this place lived it up to its higher rating. We ordered the shrimp fresh rolls and the rolls were just mostly lettuce. Then came the seafood pho - the fish was so bad, it had a foul taste and seemed to be expired seafood. The pho only contained shrimp and the aforementioned fish. When we told the server about the bad food, she just apologized and didn't even bother to remove the bad item from our check. Never going back.

My go-to for yummy Pho! Definitely have closer places but this location has the best pho and very friendly service.

We stopped here after a work meeting on a recommendation from a friend since I don't know the area well. It was delicious! The service was amazing too. it was a great experience for a lunch with two colleagues from out of town. the pho was amazing and the small was more than enough food for us. ww also loved the spring roll appetizer and and the iced coffees!

I love how they play worship songs! Very comforting place to eat a hot bowl of pho :) I've been here several times trying different dishes from the menu, and everything has been great! I usually come for the pho though. The broth is always so flavorful I never feel the need to add anything to it! Service has been good as well. Highly recommend

Food was very good. Service was pretty good. The man working there was very nice and polite. I must mention that parking is tight in a small lot. The restaurant itself is a hole in the wall. We all enjoyed our food. All dishes were served very hot. They gave us lots of bean sprouts and basilThe beef stew meat was fatty in places. Aside from a few bad pieces, the dish was good. Well done beef pho was also good. Should've ordered the small. Took home a lot of broth and noodles. The chicken pho had large pieces of chicken. Again, took home a lot of broth and noodles.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but the FOOD was HORRIBLE, really BAD. The seafood pho was not flavorful and they gave us bad salmon in the pho. We could have gotten sick. Knowing how fish cooks in liquid, it gets hard, why would you use fish? The spring rolls was too lettucy, we basically ate a lettuce wrap, my lime soda wasn't sweet, the sugar was on the bottom, it didn't have any sweetness at all. The fried shrimp was over fried..just not good, after we finished our meal, we went to another restaurant to eat. Yes it was that bad. I woke up with a bad stomach.

I am Vietnamese and I am telling you: this place is not good authentic Vietnamese food. We have tried multiple times, hoping it would be different but the food was flavorless each time. I wouldn't recommend it.

Honestly surprised by how many people are saying the pho is good here. I've been here a few times and have always ordered the sunflower bowl. Today was rainy so thought I'd get some comfort soup. All the tables around me were eating pho, so I had my hopes up. Honestly the worst bowl of pho I've had in a long time. First off, it's criminal to overcook pho noodles. These noodles were beyond overcooked. They were a slimy mess and turned the broth into a white milky disgusting slop. I then turned to my coworker who had ordered vegetarian pho. She agreed it was the worth pho she's had. We ate our meat and veggies and left 90% of the noodles and broth. Maybe the cook forgot about the noodles? Doesn't matter since I will not be giving it another chance. On the bright side, the crispy eggrolls were delicious and their viet iced coffee is freaking delicious. Extra star because of that. There are so many good pho restaurants in the area, try them instead.

The pho đặc biệt was so good I drank all the soup. I don't get to say that very often. It isn't a sweet broth and it's not too salty either. It's absolutely perfect and very beefy. I can't wait to go back! I had probably 150+ bowls of pho last year from various restaurants. This is very high up on my list.

I'm visiting Seattle. In little Vietnam. After years in the food desert. I finally get to eat real pho. Not that fake stuff in hesperia made by Mexicans. Real deal!!! Yum

Hole in the wall Vietnamese with high quality, super authentic food. EASY five stars. Ordered lunch takeout. Duck Noodle Soup ($9.95) - Perfectly seasoned and flavorful, not too salty or oily like soups usually can be. Good portions and carefully packaged. Amazing sweet ginger garlic dipping sauce. Shrimp Mixed Salad ($9.95) was also crazy good and fresh. Had shaved cabbage, carrots, mango, lotus root, shrimps. Food was ready very quickly.

Food - Pho was not flavorful at all, meat was chewy, needed a lot of add ins to make it enjoyable. Spring rolls were so mushy inside and had no flavor other than grease it was fried in. Service - Polite and kind server. Total for 1 Thai Iced Tea, 2 Reg Pho Tai, One order of crispy spring roll $47 Save your money and go somewhere else or you'll be disappointed

We are here at least once a week. Staff is lovely and the food is consistently good. Our favorites are the veggie pho and the papaya salad.

Quick, simple and affordable. Good for a group if one of you likes pho and one of likes other viet dishes like vermicelli noodle bowls.

Pho review #2 (see earlier reviews for more info) So far one of the highest quality I have found. Pho Dac Biet Broth (salty/sweet balanced): 5/5 (only improvement would be maybe a little more of the aromatics but nearly perfect for style) Meat Portion: 5/5 Meat Freshness: 5/5 (no funky smell/taste on meatball or flank) Noodles: 4/5 (a few too many noodles maybe) Cleanliness/Ambiance: 3/5 (Very clean but maybe not a super fancy atmosphere like for a date. It has sort of a suburban coffee shop vibe as far as decor.) Extra points: Service was friendly and attentive +1, Sa Te was good +1, Cafe Su Nao was made and served with a phin +2 26/25... Excellent score!

It was a bit disappointing compared to the other pho places in the area. I got the regular combo beef pho and they were really stingy with the meat 1 slice of well done beef, 1.5 meatballs, 1 slice of rare beef, and a couple pieces of tendon . They do give a lot of noodle so that will fill you up. The broth was average and not that flavorful. On the plus side, it was very clean and tables were well spaced out. The server was nice too.

If you're visiting Seattle, this shop is conveniently located right next to the Othello stop (light link rail). The food to price ratio was amazing. The atmosphere was my type, that "hole in the wall" vibe. The staff were super super friendly which is a huge plus in my book. I ordered the #19, rare beef pho. The meat to noodle ratio was on point. The broth was just okay. It's not a deep rich flavorful soup, but rather a light refreshing taste. It's a different umami flavor but it is sufficient. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here with so many pho shops in the area but it is 100% worth the visit if you're passing through Othello or using the light link rail.

We had pho here for the first time which we ordered to go. We got the house broth which was quite tasty! The only reason it got 4 stars is the parking is quite limited. Luckily because it was to go I got away with double parking! Otherwise food and service was excellent!!

Really liked this place, tho the front lot is tiny to nonexistent but the back street has plenty of 2hr parking. The food is awesome and fair priced. Loved the pho we ordered and first time trying the crepe, the dipping sauce is so good I could be drinking it by itself.

Meatball pho hit the spot that I didn't even realize I needed hit. I ordered a small and it was the perfect amount for me, I wasn't super hungry but ATE the entire thing (bean sprouts and all, I never eat them)...and drank half the broth. I liked it because it wasn't too salty, the hit of lime was perfect. Everything was just good, a good staple/basic. My partner got the spicy lemongrass noodle (the closest thing to a bun bo hue) and got 5 stars, even the server repeated it like "are you sure?" Her spice tolerance is out of this world, I tried a bite and coughed. She loved her noodles, said it was definitely their take on a bun bo hue and that it was really good. There was a thin layer of oil sitting atop both bowls but they didn't deter us! We will be back.

Located in the International District on MLKJ Way, this is a worthwhile stop over on route to Seattle! The eclectic neighbourhood offers multi-cultural cuisines from China to Vietnam to Ethiopia!! With more and more new apartments being built in the area, this has become more of an Up and Coming Neighbourhood! Huong Duong has been here for the last 5 years and had built up a loyal client base; having customers from afar or in the neighbourhood. Our Server is super friendly and has a great smile, his attention to customer are evident as he would make sure from table to table that we are well looked after! Items ordered: Spicy Noodle Soup i.e. Bun Bo Hue $US8.59 4/5 stars Thick Rice Noodles are submerged in a very rich and well flavoured stock, with lemon grass, fish sauce, chilli etc. this well known Vietnamese delicacy is well represented here. One thing that stood out was the Pork Meat Balls, so tasty and tender, but still carry a good bouncy texture! YUM! Duck Noodle Soup $US8.59 4/5 stars This is a speciality item in any Vietnamese Restaurants and each one has their own family recipe. Hong Duong's version is super clean, the broth is very delicate with just a hint of duck, which if not done properly can become too gamy! Accompanied with pickled bamboo shoots, onion, cilantro this for sure can be categorized as "Soul Food". Oh, and it come with a side of very very well dressed Cabbage Slaw, and the dipping sauce for the duck; ginger & chilli sauce. The food was delicious. I've eaten here so many times and I wish it was in a different spot since the parking situation is always trouble. The service is one of the best i've seen and the place is pretty clean.

2 words. DUCK SOUP. I can't say anything about the rest of the menu because I specifically come here for DUCK SOUP. Known to have no msg in their food and feels like a home cooked meal. However it is not the traditional way to serve Vietnamese bamboo duck soup. The duck is placed in the soup versus on the side with the salad. The salad that comes is a variety of crunchy colorful cabbages, carrots, and coriander. Peanuts and deep fried shallots (I like to put some of this into the soup). That sauce tho. It's some secret crack. Mix of ginger garlic fish sauce, and crack. It's so good for an extra spread on the salad, a little bit in the soup, and of course to dip your duck in! During COVID, they have their menu via a QR code and offer online ordering for pick up now! You'll get a text when it's ready to pick up too. Glad they decided to open again!

Sometimes, the shortest reviews have the biggest impact... Amazing tasting food, very reasonable prices, a spotless restaurant, and courteous staff. The only negative is that there is hardly any parking.

A different take on Vietnamese than I've had but all very good. They use lightly fried tofu in the papaya salad and eggplant dish and it's surprisingly tasty (5 star) The pork chops & rice was very nice (4 star) and duck/noodles was good (3 star). I would come back to try other stuff if I was in the neighborhood.

Big Banh Mi fan, so excited when I saw the reviews and review count for this place. Stopped in with some friends from work to try. Overall - a solid sandwich here. I opted for no mayo (veganized) and added jalapeño. Good bread, packed with veggies and lots of grilled tofu. I'm going four stars instead of five as the tofu was a little salty. Headline is I'm full, I'm happy and I'll be back for more. Worth cycling this place out of your in the area.

I am going to make a confession. I don't have any idea what authentic Vietnamese food is supposed to taste like. That being said, like all washingtonians i enjoy a bowl of hot pho during the 8 months of rain we have here in seattle. I recently stopped eating pho for a couple years because i was cutting back on msg. Insert huong duong. I read online they had NO MSG in their food. What little i did know about viet food is that they were heavy handed with the msg. I had to try this place! I was impressed with both their pho and the stir fried eggplant. The broth has a light refreshing tone to it and i never feel leaving heavy like i used to at other restaurants. The eggplant was tossed with mushrooms in a sweet savory sauce that was addicting. Delicious!! It is a one man show in the dining area, so be patient if you are dining in and don't be afraid to ask for something multiple times if the waiter forgets. This has become a favorite of mine and i won't get pho anywhere else!!

Best pho in town! Very organized and neat establishment with great customer service. The food was amazing and the broth honestly did not need any spices up (of course I had to spice mines up because I like it hot!). My wife on the other hand had the seafood pho, and for the first time ever I saw her eat the soup exactly the way it came out the kitchen. Would definitely recommend!

The staff here is very kind and their traditional vegetable soup with chicken is as good as chicken soup gets.

hidden gem alert: it's easy to not notice this restaurant right away because it's in a very congested area right off MLK near othello. you can find parking in the back, wouldn't recommend the parking lot! came here on a monday afternoon with a friend, was excited because the prices were cheaper than what i usually pay for vietnamese food. i ordered the chicken curry noodles & fresh rolls. i had never had curry in a soup form so it was a first for me. my friend got the pad thai, which i wouldn't recommend because i've had a lot better & it was a vietnamese restaurant not thai. my soup was decent, i don't think i'll get it again but it was interesting, mot sure if i liked it or not. i will be coming back here to try the seafood pho, all their pho options look delicious

I had the $19 XL Deluxe beef pho and my wife had the $18 short ribs rice plate. Both we were expecting something great if we are paying those prices. Very standard. Low amount and quality of meat wasn't worth the price. Not much meat on my wife's plate and the extra veggies that they mentioned on the menu was non-existing. Not going back. Have better places that has a better value than this place.
