Ichigoh Ramen is as genuine as it gets in Dallas. Originally from NYC, this family owned restaurant relocated here and didn’t sacrifice any quality in what they do. The ramen may be a bit more on the expensive side, but it is WELL worth it. The owner is super kind and friendly. I love talking with her every time I come. Don’t miss out and please visit here for the BEST ramen in Dallas!

As a vegetarian, there are many meatless apps and ramen options! I would recommend the Veggie Ichigo Bun- sweet and warm with eggplant. The lotus root chips were nice too. Unique matcha salt. I got a virgin mojito- which was very refreshing! kisetsu no kiniko butter was made with mushrooms- I personally didn’t like this one much. Ramen- Veggie Shoyu, the broth was light and noodles chewy! I prefer creamy ramen more, but this was nice to try. Edamame was good- not special though. This place was a little hard to find- it is to the Right of Angry dog. You can park your car on the street or the lot exactly opposite to ichigo.

De-licious! Everything you want in ramen. Deep, rich broth, fresh ingredients. Tasty rich broth was the highlight. Very great food service and table service. Good portion and price. Nice interior and seating as well. Would dine-in again!

I love this ramen so much. This is the best ramen in Dallas, Texas. I think the best in whole Texas! My favorites here are shoyu and miso ramen, but everything here is so amazing. I live in Los Angeles, CA and want this ramen restaurant in LA, so that I can go anytime I want. If this ramen were in LA, a lot of people here would also love this ramen. The service was also excellent. They are very nice and friendly. I really want to go back to have some their delicious ramen!

Google
Loved this place! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Both ramen dishes ordered were wonderful, and the broth was light and not too salty as many places can be. We went during lunch on a Friday and it was not busy at all. It is kind of hard to find as the storefront doesn’t have a big sign, but it’s there. Note it is a bit difficult to find close parking, and most of Deep Ellum will be paid parking.

-2024-08-09 Update- Do yourself a favor and TRY TSUKEMEN while it's available during the summer!!!! I lost track of time since my last visit and forgot to come here when summer started, but I am overjoyed to report that they did indeed bring back their Tsukemen for the Summer, and it's DELICIOUS! This is the closest thing to the amazing Tsukemen in Japan that I've found in DFW. I had the Spicy Tare Tsukemen and it was fantastic!! It came with two of THE most tender pieces of pork chashu I've had in the world, I could hardly pick it up with chopsticks without it falling apart. The broth came in a huge bowl and it was filled with a bunch of minced pork, way more than most places. Sadly the noodles weren't the long thick noodles that you get in Japan (they're expensive to make), they were your standard Sapporo yellow wavy noodles used in ramen, but they were still excellent and went great with the dipping broth. The noodles were served warm and the broth was hot as well, great for dipping. I'm so happy this is available in Dallas and I'll definitely be back to eat it a bunch more times before it goes away again, it's nearly impossible to find Tsukemen in DFW!! -Original Post- Woe is me, I came here to try their Tsukemen which is super rare in the U.S., but they told me the only serve it in the summer 😭. That said, WOW, this is easily the best ramen I've had in DFW, and is just as good as the ramen in Japan, this place is no slouch. I had the spicy miso ramen and it has so many wonderful flavors, large chashu chunks, and a good amount of wavy noodles. My only complaint here is the prices, I ordered an egg, nori, kaedama, and a beer, and it was nearly $50. I know ramen in the U.S. is generally more expensive but even this was some real sticker shock. Add that on top of your Deep Ellum parking / ride share costs and you're forking out steak level money for ramen. That said, the ramen quality is top notch and you need to eat here at least once.

Google
Authentic, I had veg ramen. Personally I liked veg ramen better. And I had a summer cocktail. There is sign with circles outside this place as they don’t have big board.

Google
In town for work and stopped by this ramen place nearby and it really hit the spot! I got the Yuzu Shio ramen with an ajitama and it was probably one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had in a while. The broth was light and the citrusy yuzu played well with the paitan flavor, the noodles were springy, and the chashu was soooo melty and I love that these were thick slices with a bit of a crispy exterior.

Nikki V.

Yelp
Ichigoh Ramen Lounge is my #1 favorite ramen spot in DFW! Their yuzu broth is my personal favorite - it's so light and comforting. I typically don't like most ramens because the broth is usually very salty, but the yuzu broth is one of the only ones I can fully finish. Out of the ones I've tried, the yuzu shio tsukemen has the strongest yuzu flavor which I love. The yuzu paitan is a slightly creamy version of the yuzu shio. If you prefer something more rich, the ichigoh special spicy miso is a solid option. I've tried their spicy tare tsukemen but it was overly salty - would not get that one again. I've noticed the pork belly chashu here is different from other ramen shops - it's thicker and not as rich/fatty. I've tried two drinks, the matcha kyuri fizz and yuzu shiso julep. The matcha one was pretty strong and the yuzu was more refreshing. The appetizers here are also very solid. Their Nasu dengaku (eggplant with blueberry miso glaze) is delicious with the slightly sweet & salty combo. Their Tatsujin pork ribs are so flavorful and tender. I would happily order those two apps again. The avocado salad is good and has a tasty light dressing. The age mochi (fried mochi) is unique - it's a savory mochi with a crispy outside and soft pillowy chewy inside. You will probably have to pay for street parking in order to dine here. Service can be a bit slow so be prepared to wait a little while for your food, but it will be worth the wait! Overall, I highly recommend visiting Ichigoh ramen lounge!

Teresa L.

Yelp
Good ramen going on here. Loved the apps and ramen was greatness! Complex ramen broth was spectacular. Loved it. Excellent service, clean and trendy dining area. Pricey but well worth it! Highly recommend.

Yelp
This might be my new favorite ramen spot in Dallas! We went on a Thursday night and were able to walk right in. They have multiple vegetarian ramen options which is great. I really liked this place for the flavorful broth. The parking was a little difficult. There is some street parking a few streets down for low prices.

Shari Y.

Yelp
The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. The service was prompt and fast. The food was amazing. The ramen was amazing. Everything was great.

Rebecca G.

Yelp
Ooof the food was so good. That pork belly was butter soft. A really nice chill vibe inside and the staff was knowledgeable with menu recommendations.

Lexi H.

Yelp
I went to Ichigoh on a Saturday around 1 and it took about an hour and a half for us to eat and get our drinks. The service wasn't great and it was freezing inside. We almost wanted our gloves - it was January timeframe when we went. Aside from the temperature and service, the food was phenomenal. We got the pork gyoza, avocado salad (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), Tori Paitan and a Yuzu ramen. For drinks we got the espresso martini, strawberry mojito, and bloody Mariko - all phenomenal Also, they do not validate parking for the garage which is $6 I'll be back when the weather warms up for sure!

Alli L.

Yelp
Came on a day I was hungover.. and needed clear soup. I have been here one other time a few years back. Yuzu shio was perfect for me! Also ordered takowasa 2x because I think the portion is on the smaller side hehe. I think the spice helps me wake up a bit too. Parked in the structure which was $3 for an hour? The restaurant does not validate but the parking price was not too bad.

Heather L.

Yelp
Best ramen ever. Light broth, amazing noodles. I highly recommend. The mochi was a little too salty for me.

Iris L.

Yelp
Very unique ramen and delicious. Never heard of chicken based ramen before and glad we tried this place. There are some street parking around the restaurant and it wasn't busy on a Friday night. Come and try before they become popular with Michelin rating, yall!

Marisa M.

Yelp
I'm gonna start off by saying, wow these chopsticks are HIGH QUALITY! They have a good little grippy grippy to them that was so fun. They're also weighted very nicely. Now let's talk food. Quirky menu but I gotta say, there are some winners at this place. APPETIZERS: Shishito Pepper- Fresh, juicy, great seasoning. Mild. Nasu Dengaku- THAT BLUEBERRY MISO SAUCE WAS FIREEEE!!! Highly recommend. Seriously an unmissable item. The blueberry isn't as aggressive as you think it would be so don't be afraid that it'll be fruity. It's like molé but without the coco-- a deep, rich feeling. RAMEN: Apple Fennel Shio--one of many great vegetarian options on the menu! Light, simple, and delicious The spicy shoyu --comes with ground pork, which provides nice contrast to a dish with a few well-chosen ingredients. You get all the good bits of soy sauce without overpowering, and the noodles add layers of their own. Ichigoh Special Spicy Miso-- This dish was so appealing that two of us got it. The butter adds a nice richness to the broth, which also has notes of ginger. The green onions and corn add color and crunch, while the pork belly just falls apart and melts in your mouth. YUM 10/10 Also we are a party of 4 that came in around 6pm on a Saturday night and were easily sat and served! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful! The design of the restaurant is very cool and the lighting is very warm! Loved this place!! **this review was written by the table

Yelp
I did not come to Dallas looking for ramen, but this place seemed to be the highlight in the area and it was good enough that I would have been happy with it if I were on the west coast. A modestly sized shop, it was full the first time I tried it, so I circled back around and found plenty of bar seating. Ordering an iced green tea yielded a heavy matcha taste, a useful contrast to the other flavors to come. Their online menu didn't show this, but the vegetarian special comes with some fried tofu skins and the option for getting it spicy, which is a good option. It was a complex miso flavor down to the last bite. A side of ultra-thin and freshly fried lotus chips was as satisfying as it sounds. I got an abundance of contrast in flavors and textures, and I never questioned whether I'd ordered the right thing.

Yelp
Tried their both of their special ramen for the month, the yuzu shio tsukemen and spicy tare tsukemen. Their tsukemen comes with thinner noodles. The yuzu shio tsukemen blew my mind. This is the first time I've had chicken based broth and it was sooo light. The chicken that came along with it was super tender. The spicy tare tsukemen was a little salty for my taste, but besides that it's up there with one of my favorite tsukemen bowls. They didn't skimp on the ground pork in the bowl. The chashu was super tender and not too fatty. The only con that I have was that their portion of noodles was a bit small. The bowl didn't get me full. There is also no big sign outside, so I walked past it without knowing. Service was quick and great though.

Jenny H.

Yelp
Past the unassuming wooden door, you'll find Ichigoh, where a beautiful understated interior and non-intrusive thoughtful service both help accentuate the flavor-packed bowls of ramen, basically straight from Sapporo! When we entered, we were welcomed with an enthusiastic "irasshaimase!" Later I heard employees speaking to each other in Japanese. All promising signs! \\ ichigoh special miso ramen - the Chashu pork had beautiful and smoky grill marks and almost fell apart on contact because it was so tender - the noodles were springy and paired well with the savory soup - also comes with menma (bamboo shoots), corn, and ground ginger, which each contributed a pop of color and flavor The spicy miso and shoyu ramen bowls were also well-liked by our group. If I had more spending money right now, I could see Ichigoh becoming a go-to so I could try more of the options! Parking seems to be a bit tricky. There's a lot you cam pay for out front or street parking that wraps around the block. I think street parking is cheaper, but double check!

Allie Y.

Yelp
came here for dinner for our family girls trip! we arrived a bit late & managed to snag parking right outside of the restaurant. it was about $1.35 to park outside for two hours. we ordered the chicken chasu rice bowl & my daughter had the yuzu chicken ramen. my daughter enjoyed the ramen & it was really good. when I tried it, it was so light and refreshing almost! highly recommend - appetizers were delicious!

Mannie S.

Yelp
I like the private feeling this lounge gives people, yet at the same time very inviting. You can come to celebrate with a group of friends, but you can also come have a romantic dinner with your significant other. Everything we ordered was delicious and very authentic. I also love how they keep the spirit of Japanese food - simple, fresh, refreshing, yet peacefully flavorful. You can taste the flavor from the ingredients the self that are not over dressed by all the make-ups, and at the same time, having a harmonious enjoyment with all the different traditional seasonings. Simple, but deep. I also like how the servers were very attentive but not in an overbearing. They observe, think ahead, and provide exactly what you need (even before you realize you need them), but never gave me the pressure that they are hover over us. The only thing slightly not like about is the location, but I can see many others would consider a plus. Will definitely come back when we are in town!

Jingwen Z.

Yelp
Updated as I finally had a full bowl of the spicy miso ramen and it's probably my favorite ramen in Dallas so far. They don't skimp on the size or the toppings and the broth is incredibly tasty. I would definitely go back for this!

Jennifer J.

Yelp
The service is pretty great! We had reservations for 22 and it was cut down to 17 or so and they adjusted quickly. The staff was all smiles and was able to to quickly accommodate the change. We were able to sit even though the entire party had not arrived which was great! They continued to clean and set up the adjusted table area. The lighting is perfect for a date for sure. We immediately ordered drinks and appetizers. The egg plant buns are delicious. I'd definitely order them again. Another attendee tried a part of a bun and decided to order themselves the chicken buns as well. Very light but packed with spice and savory flavor. I also ordered the vegetable ramen and it was packed with veggies. All ramen bowls are piping hot and must be chilled a bit before eating. I could do without the fried bread they place on top as it was too tough to chew. Overall the food is very good and flavorful. FYI: They do automatically charge a 20% gratuity for larger parties.

Jay L.

Yelp
This is a place that you could easily miss when driving by Deep Ellum because they don't put up any sort of sign except a small display at the front door. As soon as you walking into the place, you would feel how lively it is with crowd of people enjoying their meal and a busy bar running around tabs. Now let's talk about the ramen, personally I am a ramen lover, I love to keep a mental pocket list of DFW top ramen spots with me when there is a craving. This time two of us ordered the Yuzu Shio ramen and Spicy Soboro Shoyo, personally I think the spicy soboro shoyo ramen is a bit too salty but Yuzu shio quickly redeemed the taste, the broth is rich, vibrant and comforting, almost to a point that I would want to order a second bowl just the broth. Overall the texture of the noodle and tenderness of the meat combining with the richness of the broth makes Ichigo a top choice for a ramen date night. I would recommend to bookmark this spot as one of your to do list when hanging out in Deep Ellum.

Amanda L.

Yelp
My favorite ramen spot in DFW! I have friends who are vegetarian or don't eat pork, and I love how there are so many options for them. It can be difficult to find parking because it's in Deep Ellum. Also a little annoying, they list a check in offer for free karage but it's expired/not honored...FYI - Definitely try the aged mochi. The textures are so awesome! Lightly crispy exterior and soft chewy interior - Their tonkotsu broth is really flavorful and just hits all the right spots - Yuzu shio ramen - was excellent, loved the citrus cutting through the rich broth - They have a rotating monthly special which is also fun to check out! They had this bbq rib topped ramen once that was super decadant and delicious!

Karen N.

Yelp
Still absolutely love this place!! No longer living in Dallas, but I eat here every time I come back to visit. Still recommend the Yaki Mochi but have since discovered the Age Mochi too which is a fan favorite among my friends!! For ramens, the Yuzu Shio is still my favorite. It's that kind of dish that just tastes like home / comfort food. Niboshi Shoyu & Spicy Soboro are also good!

Charlie A.

Yelp
Best ramen in not only Dallas, but Texas! This place is as legit as it gets. It really brought me back to my ramen experience in Japan. That's saying a lot but man when I tell you that texture of the noodles are cooked to perfection? Perfect slurp and chew, wash it all down with that umami broth? Sheeesh! If you want to experience some bomb ass noods in Texas? This is it. They make their noodles fresh everyday and I come here every time I'm in Dallas. Mic drop slurp

Cole C.

Yelp
As for someone who is a Texas native and has travelled to Japan, Ichigoh is for sure the best spot to get traditional Japanese ramen in DFW. It's a family owned and operated hidden gem in Deep Ellum. I've been going here for quite some time now and even got the Tsukemen the last time here and it was amazing.

Carmen G.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! Have been coming for years and my go to is the Spicy Soboro, very flavorful broth and I love the noodles more than any other ramen spot. Pork Gyoza came out nice and hot and amazing as well. Definitely recommend this spot. The atmosphere is also great as well as the service.

Nick M.

Yelp
If you can find it, it will blow your mind! Stunning. Stunning. Stunning food. Everything we ate was a work of art and was rich and complex and well thought out. You could taste so many things they put out into the ramen. This is a special place! Excited to come back! I will say that parking is an absolute nightmare. We parked in the lot across the street and couldn't believe we were going to pay for the full night rate just to eat dinner and leave -- we made sure to pay online and I'm glad we did because when we got back to our car other cars were getting booted. Beware! Definitely don't park in the lot across the street on the weekends unless you absolutely have to, and if you do, try and make it worth it by hanging out in Deep Ellum for a while.

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
Cozy Ramen Spot in Deep Ellum. On this chilly day, their bowl of "Ichigoh Special Spicy Miso" warmed my heart. Beautiful comforting taste to their broth and perfect bite to their ramen. In addition, their "Spareribs with Lotus Chips" surprised me. Never had I have freshly made lotus chips before and the melts in mouth, succulent, sticky, unami spareribs were OTW. CHEERS!

Karime D.

Yelp
The pork buns were so good and the ramen was 10/10. I love to come here even though it's a bit of a drive so worth.

Stacy H.

Yelp
I had their traditional ramen. The pork shoyu - you know how there's never enough? Usually two skinny pieces, leaving you yearning for more. Here, the shoyu is cut way thicker and the slabs are generous. The broth was excellent. I'll be back!

Amy W.

Yelp
While visiting Dallas, it was a bit chilly and I was after a warm and cozy dinner - Ichigoh was exactly what I was craving.. and so much more! Service with a smile +100! We took a seat at the bar and were immediately greeted by Chris - He gave us a few recommendations and provided us with amazing service from start to finish & made our visit much more amazing! Thank you, Chris! Since we left Dallas, I can't stop thinking about the dinner we had - Almost contemplating a flight back just to eat here again! Plenty of local Beer on Tap and a delicious cocktail menu - I choose the IPA {of course} and The Hubs had the Strawberry Sake Mojito {which I had to try} - Wow.. this might just be the best cocktail I've ever had - A Must get! I let Chris know about my food allergies and he immediately spoke with the kitchen to be sure that what I wanted to order was safe for me to eat {A+} - Be sure you mention any allergies up front and they will do their best to accommodate. Food wise - Of course, we had to get the Edamame as a starter - Steamed to perfection and just the right amount of Sea Salt {other places tend to go overboard on the salt, but this was perfect}. We also shared the Ichigoh Buns with Pork {With a Spicy BBQ Sauce, Lettuce and Japanese Mayo} - I could have devoured 100 of these! The Hubs opted for the Pork Gyoza {Pan Fried House Made Dumplings with a Cabbage Filling} - I didn't try them but he absolutely loved them. I was craving noodles {as always} and Yuzu Shio Ramen {Chicken Chintan Broth, Yuzu Juice, Pork Belly, Scallions, Menma & Kaiware - with Added Cabbage and a Soft-Boiled Egg}, hit the spot and did NOT disappoint. The broth was amazing and was most definitely slurp-worthy! For any of the Ramen/Noodle/Soup dishes, you can add any of the following toppings: Extra Noodles, Seaweed, Ginger, Pork Belly/Chicken/Tofu, Bamboo Shoots, Scallions, Corn, Bean Sprouts, a Poached Egg.. and so many more. They go out of their way to be sure you can customize any dish to your liking in order to create a wonderful dining experience - And boy do they succeed! If I lived in Dallas, I might go into a Noodle coma because I would basically be living here! Trust me on this one - You will not be sorry for checking this place out - In fact.. You will be thanking me for the recommendation! And check in on Yelp for a FREE Karaage!

Jesse R.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I usually come here once a week on Sundays, it can be pretty busy if it's a nice day in Deep Ellum or nice and quiet when it's rainy. Very authentic Japanese feel and the sweetest mom and daughter run this establishment! The quality of this ramen is always consistent and their pork belly is top tier. We always get the spicy edemame, the pork Ichigoh buns, and the Tokyo Modern Shoyu. Amazing ramen! The place doesn't have a sign but it's right next to Angry Dog if you can't find it. We've had ramen all over Dallas and this is the best place we've found so far.

Minly L.

Yelp
Pretty solid ramen spot hidden within Deep Ellum. If you want to find this spot make sure to look for the door with the small heart. Standard service, we had a really friendly waitress. The food is also pretty solid. I ordered the Yuzu Shio Ramen which was very refreshing for ramen.

Dmitri A. N.

Yelp
Look for the black and white windows next to Angry Dog or you will miss this place!! Cozy little spot in Deep Ellum with pork buns to die for. The staff was great and the ramen was amazing but I'm still dreaming about the pork buns that were a complete surprise. Convenient spot to fill up before hitting The Factory.

Jae H.

Yelp
Came here for an early dinner around 5pm on a Sunday. There was no wait and were immediately seated. Ambiance of the restaurant was on point. Loved the modern rustic feel. Feels like a hole in the wall when you notice the door before you walk in but then you are immersed in a chic spot. Service was really great! We ordered a bunch of appetizers as we were hungry. Super surprised how fast the appetizers came out. Honestly, wow they were so good. Two of my friends are vegetarian and we were blown away by how many options there were. The aged mochi was so good. Texture on point with crunchy and chewy. Loved the vegetable buns. They were made with fried eggplant and mushrooms. It pretty much tasted just like Peking duck. Took us by surprise. We also got the karaage which was super fresh and well cooked. Juicy and tender. Yelp check-in is not an active coupon as they said the stopped doing it about 3 years ago. Other dishes we ordered were mushrooms and eggplants which were also delicious. Most of the other reviews noted that the ramen took a long time to arrive but we didn't notice because we were munching away on the appetizers. As for my ramen, I ordered the monthly special which was the Spicy Tare Tsukemen aka dipping ramen. The ramen had a nice texture and the chasu pork was tender but not too fatty. Would have liked it to be a bit more fatty but still tasty. The broth though had a good kick and acidity. Lots of delicious garlic. Some of the best Japanese food I've had in a while and I'm from LA. This place is a gem. Highly recommend checking it out and Deep Ellum really reminds me of LA. Cool place to walk around.

Tinh T.

Yelp
Nice hidden ramen place. Wanted to try the Spicy tare Tsukemen but was afraid of the last tsukemen I had in Dallas since it ruined tsukemen for me but this was a game changer. 100% delicious and would recommend if you never tried dipping ramen. Wish they gave more noodles and the broth is a bit on the salty side but you're not suppose to slurp the broth anyways. Service was quick and the staff were accommodating and friendly.

Cheol K.

Yelp
Located in the trendy area of Deep Ellum in Dallas, this restaurant might be kinda hard to find. The sign outside the restaurant is tiny. Thankfully, I'm a nerdy tourist and had my phone GPS on. Don't let the tiny sign deter you. Once you get inside, the place is a open and airy place with table seating on one side and a large bar on the other side. Super friendly staff who were patient and helpful. I ordered the Spicy Soboro Shoyu ramen bowl. My buddy and I shared an order of the karaage chicken. This came out piping hot (be careful not to burn your mouth) with a side of a mayo dip. Very tasty and juicy chicken. The ramen was amazing. I told the server I couldn't remember the last time I've had a bowl of ramen broth so delicious. It had a perfect mix of umami flavor with a little spice to complement the perfectly cooked ramen noodles. I polished off the bowl and slurped every last drop of ramen broth. I left here full and very satisfied.

Alon V.

Yelp
Excellent Ramen , very unique taste. Kind of hidden place in the heart of deep ellum.

Arielle V.

Yelp
Love this place! From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but the vibe inside is nice and the food is delicious! I'd never had savory mochi before but this surprised me. It had spice and saltiness with a crispy outside and chewy mocho inside. The Shio Butter Corn Ramen was sooo good. The pork belly was so tender and the flavor of the soup was yummy. Highly recommend this place if you are in deep ellum

Matthew B.

Yelp
The restaurant may feel ambiguous, but the food speaks for itself. I started with the Tako Wasabi, a raw octopus appetizer, and the bite of the real wasabi paired powerfully with the unique bite of the octopus. Certainly not a dish for everyone, but I loved it. I followed it with the Tori Paitan Ramen, which my server claimed as their "signature dish". I've never had a ramen so heavily based in chicken: this contains grilled chicken in a rich chicken-based broth. I'm very glad I did. The broth paired perfectly with the included vegetables, and the hand-pulled noodles are as perfectly textured as one could imagine. I added the egg myself, and while it didn't add much to the dish I enjoyed it. Overall, I can't wait to come back and try more. Highly recommended for ramen lovers looking for strong flavors.

Diego M.

Yelp
The BEST ramen in Dallas! The Ramen of the Month is to die for, rich flavor that doesn't overwhelm in the slightest with flavorful noodles and a complimentary bok choy that absorbs the flavorful broth beautifully. The seasoned pork belly was one of the best! All in all, one of the best ramen experiences in Dallas. The Gyutan Tataki as an appetizer is a bit expensive but an utter explosion of flavors in your palate.

Mitchell R.

Yelp
The best ramen I've had in my life. I'm from Japan and own a restaurant as well. The pork was so tender, it broke apart! Mmmmmm. The broth was so tasty! The mochi and gyoza was all hand made! Amazing! It's a must try place if you like ramen!. The price was very reasonable!

Rachel D.

Yelp
I lied, if you like a rich broth, get the Ichigoh Miso. It's super rich and deeeep in flavor. My only complaint is that it came with ALOT of ginger, but it was easily removable! The gyuutan beef tongue was SOOOO GOOD !!! It was so tender and has the most interesting flavor. I would get it again!! I wish it came with more :(

Nico P.

Yelp
The food was actually not bad but the end of our experience changed how I viewed our time here. The reason I didn't ask to speak to a manager at the time was to not kill the mood further on somebody's birthday and also because I was tired. -20% Automatic Gratuity for a Party of 5. This might explain the service we got. Not stated on the digital menu, server did not advise beforehand. We all thought it was unusual for a group size under 6. Decided not to ask or argue it. However, I've only seen one other review mention being charged this for a small group. Just a heads up to would be diners. -Service was slow but that wasn't the issue. Despite the restaurant not being busy at all, we felt rushed to leave as soon as we paid. The inattentive service became attentive suddenly. We wanted to catch up as we don't meet up often. The same server asked if we paid twice within 10 minutes and it was awkward. One of my friends said they saw an employee look over at our table without a word, as if they were wondering why we're still there. If they had explained they needed the table for a reservation coming up soon, it would've been understandable. It could've been handled better by staff. -Service level felt unequal. I saw other tables thanked with an audible "Arigato gozaimasu" as they left. We walked out with not a word said to us, English or Japanese. With the makeup of our group being different than other customers, the optics didn't look good, even if that wasn't the intention.

Yelp
Oh my goodness, this ramen spot ranks as one of my fave ramen joints I've ever eaten at (in terms of food quality). The ramen is a 5/5, but the long wait (approximately 40 minutes) for the ramen deducts 1 star from my rating. Situated in Deep Ellum, Ichigoh Ramen Lounge offers Japanese ramen options, with a handful of rice dishes and various appetizers. There were many diners speaking Japanese inside, so you know this is the place to be for authentic Japanese cuisine. The Kaarage was juicy and tender, but lightly coated and very crispy. I got the Ichigoh Special Spicy Miso ramen, and it was one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had! The broth was very rich and flavorful, with all the ingredients fresh and expertly combined into a cohesive dish. I wish I didn't have to deduct a star from the 5-star food quality, but service was lacking and the ramen took 40 minutes to come out after ordering. Our waitress repeatedly forgot our drinks and took a very, very long time getting back to us. She also spilled some of a bottled beer on the ground while pouring it into the glass. However, I still would highly recommend coming here for the food! Hopefully you get a different waitress than we did and have an even better overall experience!

Yelp
This is truly an authentic Japanese Ramen place. However, the menu only offers chicken and vegetable broth base. No pork broth. We had the miso ramen, which taste closest to a tonkotsu style. It was very flavorful. The Chashu pork was cooked to perfection, so tender!!! Bouncy noodles was on point too! We also ordered the tsukumen dipping ramen . This however was overly salty we could hardly eat it. The wait for our food was 30 minutes when there was only 2 tables ahead of us. We were told that there's only one Ramen chef in the kitchen. Appetizers here are not great. The karage portion was generous, but meat was not flavorful and it was greasy. The eggplant was a complete no no. The sauce was good but the texture of the eggplant was weird. It was not fully cooked. Paid Parking is right across the restaurant. Please be aware if you exceed your parking time, they are actively clamping wheels when we were there.

Yelp
this place was lowkey a lil hard to find cause their name was soo tiny but i like that it's lowkey! not gonna lie, they have the BEST PORK BUNS i've ever had. super flavorful and huge portion of the meat!! tried their ichigoh miso and it was yummy. wasn't fan of the ginger but otherwise it was good! first time here and it did not disappoint!

Yelp
The Yuzu ramen is what makes Ichigoh stand out from other ramen shops. Being only the tip of the Ichigoh ramen iceberg, the yuzu shio was the first time I had refreshing ramen and that changed my life forever. #bankai

Yelp
Wonderful ramen in an authentic Japanese style setting. We have been back several times - one of our favorite places in Dallas. Only downside - horrible parking in Deep Ellum. Would go more often if the parking were better.

Yelp
Ichigoh located in deep ellum doesn't have a big sign in front so it is easy to walk past. We walked in on Sunday afternoon and we did not have to wait at all/ got seated at the bar for two. Went on a Wednesday evening and also did not have to wait and got seated immediately at a table. This place has the best ramen! I've been here twice and tried the Yuzu and Tokyo ramen. I love the lighter clear broth and noodles for both ramens but enjoyed it more with the grilled chicken instead of the pork belly. If you like a thicker broth perhaps try the spicy w/ ground pork or the miso. Be sure to add an egg with any ramen you order! The steamed dumplings in broth and pan fried gyoza made great appetizers as well. Love this place! Simple and delicious!

Yelp
Always an A+ experience upon visiting! This is a go-to for me on a Sunday afternoon. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon right as the restaurant opened for lunch. It was a group of 4, so we ordered a few appetizers and each got our own ramen bowl. Service was a little on the slower side in terms of getting our orders in, but it picked up speed after that! The place got busy fairly quickly - glad to see that they're doing well! What we got: - gyutan tataki: thinly sliced beef tongue - flavorful and yummy. Comes with 4 pieces! - Ichigoh pork buns x2: each order comes with 2 pieces. I LOOOVE their pork buns - the pork is marinated in a sweet sauce, and it's super soft. Goes well with the soft bao bun! - kisetsu no kinoko butter: butter mushrooms - so tasty! - spicy tori kara paitan monthly special ramen (chicken paitan broth, fried chicken thigh, hirata's spicy bbq sauce, scallion, fresh garlic, moyashi bean sprouts): I tried a bit of my friend's ramen - it's not too spicy, although it definitely has a kick. I like my ramen a little less flavorful so i went with my all-time favorite... - yuzu shio ramen (chicken chintan broth with yuzu juice, chashu pork belly, scallion, menma, kaiware): SOOO GOOD. This is forever my favorite and I will always default to this one if none of the others stand out to me. The pork belly was super soft and tender, juicy with every bite. Loved!! - green tea: because of course, on a chilly day you always want some hot green tea! They brought out two teapots for us, which we appreciated because it meant we were never empty on our teas! We had a great time here, and I will be back soon!

Yelp
Visited Ichigoh Ramen Lounge in a Friday mid day at open time. The entrance is a bit inconspicuous so it's easy to miss. There were not many people but the place was not empty. The vibe was very calm and it felt spacious. We ordered several things. The chicken karaage was nice and crispy on the outside and really hot and soft on the Inside. Not over seasoned and paired with some mayo. I wish the dipping sauce was different but nonetheless it was good. I also tried the avocado salad, I enjoyed it a lot and it was a good light starter, the perfect portion size to share. I did not get to taste the Ichigoh buns but they looked really good and I included a picture. I had the Niboshi Shoyu ramen with chicken. It was good with a dark and slightly smoky-tasting broth, the noodles were not soft enough for my preference. If you prefer a more creamy broth, we also had the Special Miso. The ramen was nothing special but it was good. I enjoyed the appetizers more! I'd come back if I'm in the area craving ramen and I'd try something new off the menu.
