IKI RAMEN

A great little gem deep in a ktown strip mall where you wouldn't expect this kind of food. It's rare to find a restaurant that serves great ramen and refined sashimi dishes, but Iki nails both. It's a small restaurant that is simple but gets the job done and service is usually pretty efficient. The food is really the star though and worth a visit.

Love this place. I usually do delivery but I was able to take my partner here for an omekase dinner that didn't disappoint. I only docked 1 star from atmosphere (for a total of 4) because the space is small and –when crowded– it was hard to hear the description of each course. We kind of just went with it and enjoyed what we were eating but only knew bits and pieces of what they said.

Service was super fast and very welcoming. Small location and parking is valet only so be prepared. Uber there or get dropped off The ramen was soooooo good, my friend took me here for my bday and even he liked it. He’s not easily impressed either so that’s saying something. Came here for a late-night dinner and was pleasantly surprised with a calm, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. I tried the A5 Wagyu beef ramen, being absolutely delicious! It is a bit on the pricey side, which was expected with Wagyu, but was definitely worth it. Will be coming back !

Iki Ramen was a great time. I had no idea that the owner also owns a sushi restaurant, so they did a great job with the seafood dishes. We enjoyed the mentaiko mazeman (more so than the uni version because it had stronger flavors), premium kaisendon, and the salmon burrata.

I got the A5 Wagyu ramen, the Iki Roll, a salmon and avocado roll and I had a pot of their blooming tea. It was all so delicious! The beef was super tender, the flavor of the soup was on point, the sushi rolls were delicious and my tea was the perfect amount of fragrant. Would highly recommend! Only thing is with the mood lighting it is hard to read their menu. I had to use the light on my phone.

If you want ramen that’s not heavy but clean and simple in terms of broth, I recommend this place. Tried their spicy miso chicken ramen. Chicken pieces were a bit dry but i liked their chewy texture of noodle as well as clean yet soothing broth! Would love to try their other ramen when i visit here in the future.

Great service, intimate atmosphere and delicious sushi. The ramen left just a little bit to be desired but was very good. Stand out was the Toro Roll and Iki Roll… I usually don’t prefer getting rolls at sushi restaurants but these dishes were really good and I’m looking forward to going back and ordering more sushi.

Iv been to Iki a few times for their ramen but wanted to stop by and try their sushi. We got the iki sushi set which had tuna, salmon, crab, and yellow tail. The nori comes separate that you assemble yourself to prevent it from getting soggy, which was a thoughtful touch. Pretty good for the price! But since there is only 4 included you might have to order a couple extra, to feel full. Only issue I had was the crab did have a couple of small shells hidden inside that I had to pick out. But other than that it was delicious. Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Ambience: 8.5/10

So flavorful and good!! The mentaiko mazemen were super creamy and delicious not too heavy!!! The ikura and truffle were perfect for each other!! The kaisen don was also perfect for sharing -- there were 2x of everything and the fish taste was solid The shio koji ice cream was good!! Unique caramel rice flavor. but would not order the black sesame panna cotta again. Worse than tangyuan taste. Not sweet enough. Weird mousse texture. Service was great they kept refilling our water! Ambiance was good the tables weren't too close

Best ramen in town. The staff is exceptional. My favorite neighborhood spot to cozy into for a comforting meal. I've never had a bad experience, even if the wait is 30min+... worth every second.

A cute intimate little spot that is great for a date night. Iki is located in a plaza with plenty of valet parking and can get pretty packed; I highly recommend signing up for their waitlist and/or arriving when they open. The Food: - Blossom Roll: Highly recommend, very tasty. I've been here before and have tried other rolls, but this one is the most solid. - Iki Premium Grab Handroll: I checked the menu and it should be 8 pieces for $48.00, but we definitely only received 4 pieces... not sure what happened here, but kind of disappointed, kind of a rip off. - Uni Mazemen: This was good but not great. If you are going for a creamy noodle, I would recommend going with the Mentaiko Mazemen instead. When we were wrapping up dinner, the staff kept repeatedly checking in to ask if we needed anything, which made it feel like they wanted us to leave asap. I do enjoy this spot but didn't have the greatest experience overall. Hoping others have better luck.

Amazing food.. had the blossom roll, uni maze men and the grab roll set. very tasty. cute interior. Service was very fast but the Only downside is that they were rushing us out by asking us over and over if we were still working (like every 2 minutes). Clearly wanted us out which wasn't ideal but the food was good so I could overlook that lol. I had to change my review. My friend and I got cheated- our "premium grab hand roll" only came with one piece each- we got charged the full price and only got half of the order. On top of being rushed out without an apology... shame

Iki has the best sushi AND noodles. My sister and I ordered Iki sushi, fried calamari (a special written on the white board again the wall by the kitchen archway), and uni mazemen. Everything was amazing. Their crab rolls are so good and the flavor of the mazemen always hits. Service was super quick but the mazemen arrived when we were halfway done with our other dishes (not a problem). I much prefer the cozy, intimate ambiance of their Koreatown location than their Hollywood location. I want to say I feeeel like the food is better at this location as well. There's a small parking lot out front. It's been here on an afternoon weekday and it was free, but on a Friday at 5PM, it was $4 for self-parking. Not sure what it'd cost to have valet park it.

Food 4/5: the seared salmon sushi roll was CRAZY. Honestly I can eat 100 of them lol I gave 4/5 because the vegetarian ramen was beyond spicy. Service 5/5: the food came out extremely fast, I loved that. Ambiance 5/5

Went to Iki Ramen with a group of 3 right as it opened. For parking, there is a shared plaza and I was lucky to get the last spot as someone was leaving. For my order, I decided to get a shrimp bao and a Mentaiko Mazemen. The shrimp bao was decent. The shrimp was nice and crispy, but it could use a bit more sauce. For the Mentaiko Mazemen, it had a lot of flavor and the portion was great. I definitely recommend getting it and would make another visit for it! My friend also let me try the crispy tuna rice and I also really liked that too. Overall, the service was great too. The staff came to refill our waters often and take away plates on the table.

They have HAPPY HOUR MON to FRIDAY. We went at 5pm where we were the only table in the restaurant. By 545-6pm it was packed. It is definitely more an adult place, you could bring babies but it would just not be fun because it's a tight space. Even though they have a parking lot, we got the last open space since they share it with other businesses. We took advantage of happy hour, the sushi was good. My husband did get the ramen and he said it was just okay but didn't hit the spot. I ordered the ikura salmon don and it was a prefect amount of sushi rice with salmon/ikura. My favorites things in one bowl. Beautiful presentation.

Came here to celebrate my friend birthday, and it was such a nice and cozy spot! The vibe was definitely romantic, perfect for a special occasion or even a cute date night. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was plated beautifully. The scallop was my fave. Was fresh and light, and the sashimi platter was so fresh. The uni was sweet and creamy. and the crispy rice was great! The service was attentive, and the ambiance was lovely. Would definitely recommend this spot for small celebrations or a more intimate dinner. A solid 4/5 stars from me!

I had to plan a last minute dinner for five people on a Sunday and Iki Ramen made it seamless. It's been a couple of years since I was last here, but the food and ambiance was memorable enough that I decided to give it another try. Given the restaurant is small (but intimate), I was worried that my friends and I would have to wait a long time. Iki doesn't take reservations, but has a wait list you can join on Yelp or Google. I joined the waitlist on my way to the restaurant and waited about 15 minutes to be seated when we got there. Iki is located in a small plaza that offers valet parking ($3). You can self park or have the valet guy do it for you. My friends and I ordered a variety of food once seated. We had the Iki sushi, Uni mazemen, and a couple of ramen bowls. All were delicious, especially the uni mazemen! They even have vegan options for your plant based friends. We also shared a couple of bottles of sake and each got cocktails. Service was also good - our waiter was very attentive and the food came super quickly. The cocktails were okay and the sake bottles were kind of expensive, but definitely come here for the food and ambiance.

Summary - must try uni mazemen. Best uni flavor dish in LA. Iki is a Japanese ramen place that I always come back to, not to get rame but their famous uni mazemen. Restaurant is a very small, typical of many Japanese restaurant with only around 7 tables total. Theres usually a wait but we got lucky. For a small restaurant, it's a pretty cutesie place with wood finishes throughout. Also the place has horribly packed parking, so be aware. If you ever visit this place, uni mazemen is a must if you love uni. I never order ramen here and only get mazemen. Probably one of the strongest uni flavor you'll taste in any dish at any restaurant. Ive had many uni pasta but none compared to this. Very rich uni taste all around but not gamy at all. Super creamy and for a brothless ramen, not salty at all. Incredibly good dish. Their sushi is pretty good too. Pretty standard sushi but high quality. I wish their sushi rice were slightly firmly pressed so it wouldnt fall apart but aside from that, cant criticize the dish. Good ingredient and yummy taste. Pretty good quality sushi. And we ordered a side of crispy tuna rice which is my gf favorite dish in any restaurant. I like this place crispy tuna because it was lightly friend and the fried part wasnt too crunchy but my gf said she prefer more crunchy. I still thought it was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you can find a parking.

The aesthetics of this place is . Parking may be difficult to find, but we got pretty lucky and found a spot before the dinner rush. It's close to The Wiltern, so if you're heading to a show there in the evening , I'd highly recommend this place. We ordered the Chashu Don, Yuzu Shio Ramen and Burnt Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen. All very flavorful. I love anything Yuzu. The Yuzu broth here was slightly sweet with a hint of zesty lemon flavor. The burnt garlic was unique, it leaves a very pleasant after taste. Service was fast and staff was very nice and accommodating. Would love to come here again!

It is hidden gem in k town. I've never expected this street has good restaurant lol, but I found this and came here for celebrating my bday and I never regret it! I always wanted to have fresh but not fishy kaisen don (Last time I ate fresh one was 2 yrs ago) and this one made me satisfied on that! Plus since I always failed to eat fresh uni, I was bit of worried about trying this uni(sea urchin). However this uni sushi with tuna wasn't fishy. It was fresh and soft. It is kind of pricy but I think it is worthy for that price at least it is very fresh and nice serving. Definitely visit again.

I had the spicy tonkotsu today and it was delicious. The woodear mushrooms were crunchy goodness and the chashu was tender. The spicy paste was good. We also started with scallop carpaccio and kanpach. The scallop carpaccio was so fresh, sweet and plump. Perfect on this hot day. The service was really attentive and fast. You can tell everyone is on top of things and the restaurant is clean. Parking is easy since we came for a late lunch.

Iki is hands down the best ramen spot in Koreatown. I realize those might be fighting words but I'll take the risk. Other delicious nibbles to try: - Kaisen Don - good portion and great quality - Salmon Burrata - a delicious fusion of salmon sashimi and creamy burrata cheese Last but not least, - tuna crispy rice - 4 pieces might initially seem like you're being slighted, but the pieces are huge and the tuna delicious -

We came here because the line for Sun Nong Dan was too long and the wait here wasn't too bad. We got the following dishes: - Kaisen don: this was my favorite item. The sashimi quality was amazing, which is surprising for a ramen shop. I would get this for just myself if I were to come back - it was that good. The only downside is that the portion is quite small, and I would be hungry if this was the only thing I ate. - Burnt garlic tonkotsu: this was the most popular ramen from the reviews, but I thought it was good but nothing special. I do find that ramen often is that for me - I think it's capped where nothing will blow my mind, but it'll be solid. I think that unless I'm specifically really feeling ramen, I wouldn't get this again and instead opt for the sashimi or the mazeman. - Mentaiko mazeman with uni add on: I was quite happy with this dish. I'm a fan of dry noodles, and I thought this was very creamy and tasty. The uni add on was a bit pricey, but the uni quality was very good. I might go without it next time, though. Overall, the restaurant was very nice and definitely a good date spot.

The time came around for me and my girlfriends' annual visit to a friend we lost a few decades ago. And as usual, I was tasked to find a place for eats before heading out. It came down to a Thai place somewhere in Hollywood or this. We all met up at my place and still hadn't decided where to go, but since we were all hangry, we decided on this place because we had a better chance of getting seated immediately. (That Thai place is popular and many fellow Yelpers mentioned that there was always a good chance for a wait.) And immediately seated our party of three were! I was able to screen through their menu before coming through so I knew exactly what I wanted. In my GFs' hunger-ism, they were also quick to decide what they were going to have, ' TAKOYAKI: Neither one of my company have ever tried this, so it was a must. They looked a bit skeptical at first, but at first bite, they were hooked. They were even fascinated with the way the bonito flakes were dancing on top. The combined flavor and texture of the octopus was balanced well. The sauce added a little umph. We all liked it! SOFT SHELL CRAB BAO: The order only comes with one. One was too busy with her Chashu Don and the other just wanted may a couple of the legs. This is my first run on this app (it's usually just pork.) The bun was soft and fluffy and paired well with the crab's saltiness. The batter was very thin and the veggies were almost like palate cleansers. Liked this as well. SALMON BURRATA: I knew this was a must-have soon as i saw it on the menu. GF's aren't too familiar with it, and rather than explaining, "Just try it." I advised to get a little bit of of the salmon, tomato and enough yuzu for each bite. We were all equally sold. There was a lot going on here texture and flavor wise and they all worked well together. Burrata was fluffy, salmon, they yuzu's sweet and tang were just right... *insert chef's kiss here!* SALMON TRUFFLE: We got this out of curiosity. Just like the salmon on the burrata, it too, was soft and almost velvety. The hint of truffle elevated the flavor. Delish! BURNT GARLIC TONKOTSU (sans corn): My choice of main. (Not a fan of corn so I made sure that wasn't in there!) The aroma alone already pulled me in. The garlic flavor wasn't overpowering. The egg was a perfect soft boil. The noodles were thin (which is what I prefer) chewy and tender. The pork had a nice hint of char but seasoned and prepped tender. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this bowl, it was PERFECT! FOOD: 5. We loved everything. SERVICE: 4. Very little interaction, but better than average. VALUE: 4. Well worth it! PARKING: Private lot shared with others. There is also street parking available, but might require a walk. OVERALL: 4.25. I also got to try the A5 Wagyu Ramen and Butter Truffle broth (that's what my GFs got.) Both are just as good! We hung out little longer after our meals as we all got lost in our conversation and lost track of time. They didn't comment on that as well. (There wasn't anyone waiting, so I'm guessing that's why it wasn't an issue.) But a really good run! We all enjoyed our visit! Definitely recommending and definitely coming back at first opp!

LOVE LOVE this spot! It's sooo perfect for date nights and everything here is so good. I highly recommend the uni mazumen or the mentaiko mazumen and the takoyaki!!

I ordered the *dinner* omakase, and it was a truly tasty experience! I got soooo much more food than I was expecting, and I was completely stuffed by the end. The price was approximately $120-$135, which felt reasonable given the diverse menu selection. I was a fan of the experience, but if I had to choose my least favorites, I would say the grilled prawn & the squid ink pasta. The grilled prawn had an Uni sauce topping that was a bit too sharp, and felt a little misplaced in the lineup. The squid ink pasta was tasty, but VERY rich, and earlier in the meal than I would've liked. I felt it filled me up before I was able to enjoy other more fresh dishes. **SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND** There are two omakase options. I came here per a recommendation, with the intention of doing a sushi omakase, but unknowingly did the dinner omakase without realizing that there were two. I wish the staff would've confirmed with me, as there was a pretty significant price difference. That being said, it was a great experience and I can't wait to try the sushi omakase next time!

I ate Iki Ramen's food for the first time and ordered through uber eats. What I ordered: 1) STC roll - 3.8/5 solid roll but nothing mind blowing 2) Toro roll - 3.7/5 It was good.. however, I know that toro tends to be naturally oily since it's fatty but this one was way too oily like they put on oil themselves 3) Grab hand roll (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, blue crab) - There was nothing too special about these hand rolls. It was good but the seaweed was too chewy so it made it very hard to eat. The handrolls were also very small and contained much less fish compared to other places. It's probably my fault for getting sushi at a place that specializes more in ramen but I would maybe go back to try the mazemen. Unfortunately, I think the sushi here is way too overpriced for what it is. I've tried places that are much much better and actually worth the $$$. I also won't be able to comment on the service or ambiance since I got it delivered but will update my review once I go try the mazemen!

If you are looking for flavorful ramen this is definitely the spot! I ordered the Yuzu Shio. It was packed with so much flavor and it had a lemony taste to it. Which I loved!! Their Gyoza was also crispy and delicious! There was no wait when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. I will definitely be going back!

Came here on a Friday night for two people, and there was no wait at all. Service was good. We ordered the Toro roll and I ordered the burnt garlic tonkatsu ramen. I recommend this ramen. The broth was extremely rich, creamy and fatty that soft boiled egg was perfectly jammy. And the corn and woodear mushrooms were a perfect touch. Ambiance was good besides the group of girls that were talking too loudly.

[Verdict] Amazing tasty Sushi & Ramen offerings accompanied by Instagram friendly plating for those great food pics! Difficult parking, amazing service, tasty drinks & smooth sake, great vibes & great for sharing with a date or smaller parties (2-6). [Favorites] Crispy Rice Tuna - Crispy Sushi Rice paired on top with Spicy Tuna Tartare with a sweet & spicy sauce. Soft Shell Crab Bun - Fried Soft Shell Crab paired with classic cucumber slices & spicy aoili. Any of the Sushi Sets - I forgot which one we got but all the Sashimi pieces were fresh & Tuna was our favorite here. Burnt Garlic Tonkatsu - Simple yet refined taste thats not too overpowering with Hakata style (Thin) noodles. Would love to go again & would love to see more locations with more parking spaces!

We had plans to see a show at the Wiltern and hoped to find a good happy hour within walking distance and that we did. We had a few apps under the happy hour deal - beers were $5 and so were small bites. The Takoyaki, gyoza and shrimp termpura handrolls were all fantastic! Being that we went to a ramen place, we had to try their Tonkotsu and we enjoyed it. The service was spot on - everyone was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is pretty small so I would expect a wait during peak hours. They are locating in a plaza with other businesses and best of all, a private parking lot which is always a must in k-town. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves ramen and japanese food in general - the entire experience was great.

I've only been here once and I already love it. They have really well thought out dishes that break away from the regular LA sushi dishes you usually see (ie: yellowtail jalapeño, albacore onion, crispy rice) I really enjoyed their DIY premium hand roll set and that salmon burrata cold dish. My boyfriend got one of their ramens and it was really good too. I forgot the name of the roll I got but it was delicious!!!! I attached a picture of it so I'll show it to the server next time I go haha but I never really like rolls...so when I do then that means this place got something good going on! Service was really kind and attentive. The ambiance has a home-feel to it. The restaurant is pretty tiny so it can feel intimate but also a great family place. I heard they opened a new hand roll place in the west side so I have to go check it out!

Great flavor and great choices. We got the Uni Mazemen and Burnt Garlic Tonkotsu ramen. Oddly the Uni Mazemen doesn't have uni pieces without paying extra, but it does still have tons of uni flavor. The Garlic ramen was also super flavorful and yummy. Service was amazing and there's parking out front. Definitely worth coming to again.

Iki Ramen has been my go-to neighborhood noodle joint for years, and I've long understood that it was an uncommon restaurant, with fantastic sushi and sophisticated small plates in addition to its truly delicious ramen. I've already written about my love for the yuzu shio and burnt garlic tonkotsu, and for the most part, I still treat Iki like a casual noodle spot, even getting the occasional bowl delivered to my house. But in classic L.A. fashion, this humble strip mall ramen shop contains hidden depths. I'd heard from friends that there was an omakase option at the counter, and I'd been planning to try it when I got invited to a birthday dinner at Iki, where a group of around 30 of us took over the restaurant and got the maximal experience. The space was perfect for a nice birthday party, fun and intimate, and the seated dinner felt special without being overly formal. Service was great, and there was plenty of good sake. The food was spectacular, a multi-course extravaganza of creative Japanese cuisine made with top quality ingredients. Dinner started with a lovely zensai platter: a delicate monaka, a sort of Japanese wafer sandwich, filled with king crab, uni, and Astrea caviar; a Fat Bastard oyster with tomato tozasu and shiso flower; and a one-bite lettuce wrap with burrata, Bakkafrost salmon, and peach. Next, we had silky bluefin tuna toro, sea bream, and wild salmon sashimi. The next three courses brought yakimono, agemono, and mushimono--something grilled, something fried, and something steamed. Gently grilled fresh scallop came with cauliflower purée, fresh truffle, and ikura. The agemono was a light, crispy hard taco shell carrying A5 Miyazaki wagyu beef, uni, and avocado. Then, there was a warm, fragrant bowl of steamed Chilean sea bass with uni, dashi ankake, shimeji mushroom, and mitsuba. Ramen made an appaearance in one of the best dishes of the night: the ultra-luxe brothless mazemen with abalone, mentaiko, fresh truffle, and chewy temomi ramen noodles. The sushi was excellent, too, served in two back-to-back nigiri courses: toro with caviar, kinmedai, and nodoguro, followed by Hokkaido scallop and amaebi topped with uni, served with the fried shrimp head on the side. Our last savory course was a beautiful owanmono, velvety slices of A5 wagyu in beef bone broth flavored with yuzu. Dinner ended with an incredible homemade monaka and shio koji ice cream sandwich. I could honestly have eaten several of these. I'll always love Iki for ramen, but I love it at least as much for a special occasion. This was a wonderful party, and I look forward to coming back for more remarkable omakase.

This might just be the best sushi in LA - right up there with Nobu / Matsuhisa. The hamachi carpaccio is to die for & the hand rolls are sooo flavorful. Incredible quality all around. The mazemen noodles are chewy in the best way & definitely try the burnt garlic ramen if you're a garlic lover. Service was amazing and the vibes here are on point. Definitely coming back soon.

Authentic Japanese ramen in the heart Koreatown! A friend recommended Iki Ramen and my gf and I decided to give it a try after going to a show at the Wiltern. Iki has about 12 tables in the restaurant calling for a great, intimate setting. Our servers were very attentive and quick to bring us drinks and take our food orders. We got the crispy rice tuna and soft shell crab bao as starters, and they did not disappoint. My gf mentioned she never ate a crab's claws before, but we both took a bite since it was fried and look like it should be eaten. It was delicious with ample amount of crab meat and crunch. The sauce and warm bao brought the dish together. Our main was the burnt garlic tonkatsu ramen. Fire. It was a thinner tonkatsu broth than I was used to yet full of flavor. The topics in the picture I posted all came with the ramen, and we order chili paste on the side. Ramen was so good and didn't leave me feeling so full after due to the clean broth. Really enjoyed Iki and plan to be back when I'm craving ramen again!

I've had the yuzu shio ramen and burnt garlic tonkotsu ramen at least 3x each; they're so good! Can't go wrong with the sushi or ramen here. This location is cozier than the hollywood location and there's a parking lot in front with limited spots.

I took my parents here as they love ramen and sushi! We ordered spicy tonkotsu ramen, iki roll, iki sushi, spicy tuna hand roll, a5 wagyu roll and a spider roll and they were all soooo good, we actually finished it all! Their ramen broth is super creamy and I'm glad it comes with all the toppings like egg, seaweed, mushroom, corn, etc. so you just pay extra if you want more! Service was not perfect as we ordered our food and soon after we were told that the order didn't go through so we had to reorder our food with a different waiter. They also started bringing food we didn't order but it wasn't a big deal. To make up for it, they gave us ice cream so we appreciated it. Overall, that didn't take away on how good the food was! This is not my first time eating here and definitely still won't be the last. The place is not crazy big so it might be harder to sit a bigger group. It does get busy during the weekend so expect to wait during those times. We went on a Thursday night so we were seated right away.

The wife and I went here for Happy Hour before a concert at the Wiltern Theater. We were pleasantly surprised by the happy hour prices, and the quality of the food. We tried the gyoza, hand rolls, and tonkotsu ramen. Everything tasted great, and the happy hour prices were a good value. The waitstaff took good care of us, and we both said we would come back for happy hour there in the future. You should definitely give it a try if you're in the mood for ramen

From their ramen to their mazemen to their nigiri to any appetizers and dessert. Everything was SO GOOD. Apps: gyoza (perfectly crispy on the outside) served with a chili oil that bites but doesn't linger, salmon burrata (WHAT, who would've thought to pair these two things together ? It was super fresh and not fishy! Melted in my Mouth:11/10), spicy crispy tuna (rice perfectly crispy, with the tuna perfectly seasoned), takoyaki (nice and squishy on the inside and crispy On the outside... haha how else is it supposed to be?) Roll: Blossom roll.... 11/10... it's just so balanced ... I can't even... articulate.... Words can't describe. It's just amazing. Ramen: not too salty... smoked burnt garlic flavor wasn't too over powering... noodles perfectly al dente. 10/10 Mazemen: uni makes the noodles oh so creamy. And it wasn't super fishy either. 10/10 Iki sushi plate: Fresh, melts in your mouth, everything was amazing. 10/10 my fave was the scallop. Been here 2 x already and it's def a staple in my rotation forever. I've brought a friend here on my recent visit and he loved it too. See y'all end time, going to try even more things and have my favorites again. If you haven't been, please give it a try.

This ramen spot is delicious and is a great, little hidden spot in K-town. They make unique bowls of ramen here and with wonderful service and staff! I got the ebi katsu and uni mazemen for dinner and it was so delicious. The ebi katsu was crispy and the bun was soft and it was a good appetizer. The uni mazemen was so flavorful and the noodles had a great texture. The uni was fresh and once you mixed everything, it was a a filling meal and the sauce was creamy and made for a rich bowl of mazemen! Overall, this is a great ramen spot to have dinner or lunch at and I would happily come again for more bowls of ramen! Parking is limited as the plaza is a little small or you can do street parking.

My friend and I came here at the tail end of Happy Hour on Friday, and wow this place is so underrated for their sushi! I did not expect much but was blown away by the quality of their sushi. We ordered a few bites from their Happy Hour selection like Edamame, Seaweed Salad, all three kinds of their Sushi The server did forget about our order of Gyoza but it ended up being fine with the other bites we ordered and the Salmon Burrata that they treated us with, so we didn't mention it.

1000% YES to Truffle butter tonkatsu. Soooo good! I may have found my favorite Ramen spot. We also ordered the Uni Mazemen,, salmon sashimi, and the A5 Wagyu Uni grab handroll - it's two bite size pieces, but it's worth the splurge. Service was friendly and helpful, and attentive. Ambiance was modern and intimate; nice for a date night or meeting with a friend. There's a private parking lot and if you join the waitlist, you can save time. Love everything and look forward to coming here soon.

Was recommended this place by a friend so decided to come here. Wasn't craving ramen and wanted something cold so opted for sushi. Parking was FREE and spacious which is pretty uncommon in KTown so I was pretty happy. Very small place so there is a Yelp waitlist option that you can join in advance. Luckily, I didn't have to wait at all on a Sunday late afternoon and got seated pretty quickly. We ordered the following items: 1) Pork Kakuni Roll: 7/10 Surprisingly better than I had expected. Pork was rich and delicious and the cucumbers added a nice crunch. It wasn't too messy to eat too which I appreciated, just was small. 2) Iki Grab HandRoll: 8/10 The fish was sooo fresh- it came with 2 pieces of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and blue crab. The seaweed was placed on the side so you wrap the raw fish yourself. This was pretty delicious and filling- with wasabi on the top. 3) Toro Roll: 6/10 I personally like toro as a sashimi rather than a roll so this might be biased. But overall, it was still really good and I was full. Service was quick and easy, and we got our food pretty fast as well. Overall not a bad place to check out if you're in Ktown and wanting Japanese food! Free parking is definitely a plus too.

I'm definitely giving this place five stars. The service was top-notch, and the food was totally delicious! Everything was fresh, and the flavor was just amazing. My taste palate can be more satisfied that night. I love their Toro, with homemade fresh wasabi. And the Mentaiko Mazemen was umami! Add the crab meat to level up the experience. The Salmon Burrata was also yummy! I heard that Justin Bieber and Hailey ate here, too! Be sure to make a reservation to make things easier. Parking is available in the plaza.

Hands down the most delicious sushi I have eaten in America. I live in Miami Florida so I am truly sorry that I won't have IKi Ramen on a regular. For a strip mall I was very impressed with the quality of sushi, service and clean wooden decor. The salmon, tuna, scallops and yellow tail sashimi were my absolute favorite they melted in the mouth the quality was just top notch. Great experience and a must when in LA quality and price is unmatched.

Went here for the sushi and the quality is so fresh, probably one of the best ! There's definitely going to be an out thr door wait during rush hours since seating is limited. The ramen are more affordable than the sushi but definitely give the sushi a shot. Free parking too!

Came at 7 with a party of 2 on a Saturday night and was seated right away! Quite a busy parking lot. Delicious food with so much depth of flavor. Burnt garlic ramen had perfectly cooked noodles and burnt garlic flavor was unique and flavorful. Mazemen was delicious with lots of roe! Truffle salmon handroll came different than expected, but was spectacular. Hamachi carpaccio was also incredible and we savored every bite! 5/5 stars without a doubt!

Food came out very quickly! A modern but intimate experience, perfect for dinner dates. Mentaiko Mazemen: One of the best noodle/pasta dishes I have ever had. It's my go-to order. Rich, creamy, and just a dash of spiciness. A pretty generous portion, too. Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna (appetizer): A great blend of spicy, creamy, and crispy. Really yummy, but not really worth $3 per piece. Ube Horchata Cocktail: I took a gamble with this one and it did not pay off. Just an odd taste, regardless of the alcohol. On the bright side, the aftertaste didn't linger.

Finally got around to trying Iki Ramen and I'm so glad I did! The food was delicious, Great place for quality ramen and sushi Food: I ordered the Kaisen don ($28) and my friend for the Truffle Ramen. For the Kaisen don, it was so good! It was packed with fish and the quality was great. You could tell since the ikura didn't taste fishy. Although I didn't try my friend's truffle ramen, it smelled sooo good and she said she really enjoyed it. Service: Service was good, was surprised at how fast the food came out! The servers were very attentive and friendly. Parking: Free but limited parking, we can early so it was very easy to find a spot but I can see it being busy on the weekends.

This was a great find! We came here for a late lunch so there was no wait at all. Service was excellent and so was the food! Both the takoyaki and salmon burrata left us wanting to more. We also ordered a burnt black garlic ramen. Sorry no picture for that ( we just scarfed it down). I would definitely come back when in town.

A small restaurant serving high-quality sushi and unique ramen and noodle dishes. I loved how cozy and intimate the space is, and the servers were quick and welcoming. Food is prepared beautifully and all shareable (unless you're getting ramen?). The soft shell crab bao was delicious and the kaisen don had really fresh pieces of my favorite sashimi (scallop and salmon). The real star of the show is the MENTAIKO MAZEMEN - I love love mentaiko and roe flavored dishes, and this dish was 10/10. It is creamy and heavy, so def recommend sharing!
