"Finding success in Singapore and Shanghai, Imperial Treasure opened its first Hong Kong branch in this sky-scrapping landmark, with panoramic views of the harbour. The stylish dining room is embellished with subtle Chinese touches, such as the ceramic Koi carps and calligraphy. A fish tank in the kitchen ensures live seafood is available every day. Poached garoupa in fish soup with crispy rice and stir fried crab in pepper are worth a try." - Michelin Inspector

Imperial Soup Review - Chinatown Oakland - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"If you’re seeking restoration, Imperial Soup in Oakland Chinatown will have the right remedy for you. Select from several herbal soups consisting of meat, seafood, and various herbs, along with rice and noodle plates. Make sure to try their classic Hong Kong-style steamed milk. It’s a silky pudding with a custard-y consistency that melts on your tongue giving way to the slightest hint of sweetness. It can be enjoyed hot or cold, but I love it best as a warm treat." - Daphne Wu

This clean restaurant boasts excellent hospitality from the staff and a beautiful harbor view. The food and wine selection ranges from relatively casual to high-end, and the food is well-seasoned. Around 1500HKD per person including wine.

I had dinner at Imperial Treasure in Hong Kong, and despite arriving early in the evening, the restaurant was already bustling with diners — mostly locals, based on the lively Cantonese conversations all around. The menu was extensive and filled with tempting dishes, but the à la carte portions were quite generous, so we focused on a few highlights. The braised abalone was exceptional — rich, tender, and beautifully sauced. The razor clam with garlic and vermicelli was delicate yet full of flavor, while the eggplant with minced pork reminded me fondly of a similar Thai dish — almost identical in taste and texture However, a small disappointment affected the evening: one of the dishes we ordered never arrived, and we were only told it was sold out more than an hour after placing the order. That hiccup cost a star from an otherwise stellar dining experience.

One of the best dim sum in HK. The restaurant was busy on a Sunday lunch. I wish the staffs could be a little more attentive. However, very good experience overall, nice view, good food, and good price. - BBQ pork 9/10 - very tasty and not too sweet. - Crispy bitter gourd with egg yolk 9/10 - interesting menu - BBQ pork puff 10/10 - freshly baked and very flaky - Egg tart 9/10

The ambiance was pleasant, and we were seated by the window—a perfect setup for what I had hoped would be a wonderful lunch with my family. Unfortunately, the experience was completely overshadowed by the terrible service from the staff. I never expected a high-end Chinese restaurant to have employees constantly hovering around our table, clearing items in a disruptive manner while we were trying to converse. They were not only impolite but also cold and indifferent—especially when handling dishes, which was handled quite rudely. To make matters worse, we had to help ourselves to water from a hot water pot left on the table. While that wouldn’t normally be an issue, when a staff member did come to refill it, they did so with such loud and careless noise, showing no consideration for the guests around. The most frustrating part was that when we left, not a single person—not even the front desk staff—bothered to say goodbye, thank you, or even acknowledge us. At least eight employees passed by us without a word. Basic hospitality and customer courtesy were completely absent. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. I’ve visited for dinner before and had a much better experience in terms of service. I’m not sure if there’s been a change in management, but even the quality of the dim sum has noticeably declined.

Ordered the Kung Pao Prawns and the prawns were chewy and sauce was vinaigrette taste, not spicy at all. Enquired about any sauce come with the deep fried tofu and the waitress just abruptly said “NO” and walked away. This waitress (skinny with short hairs) was very rude and grumpy through out the whole dinner even with other customers. This restaurant doesn’t deserve Michelin Star rating. Don’t let the rating fools you. I definitely DO NOT recommend to anyone!!

There are 2 locations serving the same dimsum. It’s hard to reserve one in IGC mall but another location is easier with better service. The best dimsum!

Beautiful view of Victoria Harbour from the restaurant. Food was great and service was attentive. They even bothered to separate the soup dish into 4 bowls with extra broth given for kids even though my order was only for two servings. First time trying the suckling pig with glutinous rice and it didn't disappoint. Thumbs up.

Classy restaurant with superb view and food. The food was very well prepared that stood out from similar restaurants in the area. The signature dish of suckling pig stuffed with sticky rice was exquisite and tasty, befitting its Michelin star rating, thankfully it could be ordered in small portions for tasting. The tables by the wide windows offered superb view of Victoria Harbour, recommend to reserve in advance, or come early. Service was impeccable and prices very reasonable for the location and star rating, highly recommended.
