Went with girlfriends and shared plates - a combination of appetizers and an entree. Plenty of food with leftovers as well. Some dishes were salty for my personal taste, but I don't like salt at all, so take that, well, with a grain of salt! It was still very fresh, flavorful and enjoyable. Green beans seasoning was VERY good. Service was very nice - friendly, prompt. I do wish they offered a 20% choice on the preset tips (18, 22 and 25 are offered).

Google
Great place to get all types of Asian food. Everything we got was super tasty. The surface was great! Lots of flavors and great enough spice. Definitely a great place to eat family style and share plates. I highly recommend and would come back.

Google
everything was very flavorful! good portions to share. my favorite was the beef pad se ew and bahn mi. imperial coconut rum drink was too creamy for my taste, but still good. FYI, bring cash or they will charge extra for using credit card. We'll be back to try more on the menu.

Google
This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise. We were visiting from NY and stumbled upon this absolute gem. Everything we ordered was 10/10. I’d really recommend the chicken spring rolls, and the chicken banh mi. Our waiter was lovely and the restaurant was very nicely decorated. I’d look forward to coming back here. The green curry was also great and nice portion sizes for the price!

Google
Overall a great place. Staff seems to leave you be after you order…this could be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. I was craving noodles this day and they hit the mark with the Pad See Ew with beef. Very flavorful and tasty. Definitely hit the craving for sure. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

Google
Delicious! This little gem of a restaurant is a showstopper! Great friendly service with fresh perfectly seasoned food. The garlic chicken was the bell of the ball. Steamy hot with just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend this local hot spot. Believe the hype! Portions were huge prices were right!

Google
10/10 – Absolutely divine! I had the Vietnamese Vermicelli Noodle Bowl at Indo Asian Street Eatery and let me just say — it was out-of-this-world delicious! For just $21, the quality and portion size were more than worth it. The dish was bursting with flavor — a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the ingredients were beautifully presented. Every component complemented the others perfectly, making every bite a delight. I sat by the window soaking in the warm natural light, which made the whole experience even more wonderful. The ambiance is cozy, chill, and welcoming — just the way I like it. The service? Top notch. Friendly, attentive, and fast. You can really feel the care they put into both the food and the customer experience. Highly recommend this place! If you’re craving something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying — this is it. Don’t walk, run!

Yelp
I'm back! Post-Covid my standards have changed. Bottom end prices have gone way up while good restaurants haven't gone up as much. The service is still excellent. Based on my experience, there is zero they need to do better. Nice people and attentive without being obtrusive. The decor is just right. It's the right amount of dark. You don't feel you're in a Scandinavian cafeteria, nor does it have the 70's vibe where you feel you need to sit with your back to the wall. My one complaint is to add some cushions. I'm not in church! And fix the damaged QR codes... The most important part is the food. I had the Chicken Katsu Curry. It looked exactly like the photo on their menu. That's the first time in my life. Allegedly it was supposed to be very spicy, it didn't feel spicy, but after I finished there was a slight tingle to my lips, so maybe some people will need a glass of milk. Dunno. I thought it was perfect. Not almost, it was perfect. Now put it in perspective of what it costs to eat at McDonalds and it's heavenly. (Cue the angels.) Try coming at least once in your life.

Yelp
My husband and I came here because of the astounding reviews. We both love Thai, and wanted to give this a shot for date night. I walked in and asked for a table for two and the host said she would clean one for me while I used the restroom. My husband walked in shortly after and did not get helped for some time. They finally sat him. We then sat for about 10 minutes and no one came over to grab a drink order. The restaurant was not particularly busy. 6 tables occupied for 2 wait staff. I then had to flag the bartender to ask if we could order food. Someone then came over and took our order. The food came out quickly and yes, the food was delicious. We started with the chive buns and I loved them! Browned and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The drinks were also very yummy. My husband got the pad see ew, no broccoli because he is not a huge fan of Chinese broccoli. It was pretty bland and dry. I got the miso salmon and it was incredible. I loved every bite, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. We then had to flag someone else down to get our check. The only reason for the 3 star is because of the service. For a Sunday it was not very busy, and for myself to have to flag someone down on two occasions, not great. The table that sat next to us had the same issue. They ended up having to flag someone down to get their orders going about 15 min after they were sat.

Yelp
EAT HERE!! Food is delicious!! Khao Soi with fried tofu and Miso-glazed Salmon are my go-tos! both are so good! i would highly recommend. i have also tried the lettuce cups which are also good but standouts are the two above for me. they do a good job of having an array of different asian dishes...korean, thai, japanese, chinese flavors/inspos which make it easily finding something for every one in the party to enjoy! i've only eaten to go from here because it's usually packed and currently they don't take reservations (only first come first serve for seating) but i would love to sit in one day. it looks like a mid century modern with industrial accents and i would like to enjoy the amazing food in this ambiance soon! i'll update when i do :) till then, happy eating!

Yelp
Cute medium sized establishment with nice service. The food was very flavorful and more on the spicy side. The Korean wings had a very interesting taste to them - almost like a red soda flavor. The katsu was a big portion, you could probably share it with someone else. Veggie spring rolls were yummy. I would come back.

Sam K.

Yelp
The lettuce wrap was really good. But that's all. The banh-mi was burnt. The tea was hot water in a kettle with a tea bag. The plate they provided was not clean. The table was too small.

Yelp
This restaurant is the most amazing little gem. We had the best customer service from Allan. He made great recommendations and was very on top of getting us drink refills, napkins and anything else we may have needed. The food came out timely too and it was delicious! I will definitely come back here to eat again.

Yelp
After hearing a lot of good things about this restaurant, I finally checked this place out as I am in the area. I went with 2 other friends for an early dinner, around 4pm, and there was ample seating, but it got busy really quickly by the time it reached 5pm. We shared 2 appetizers and 2 entrees - pork fresh spring rolls, pork belly yakitori, chicken katsu curry, and Khao Soi chicken. The pork fresh spring rolls was a great starter - it comes with a dipping sauce that is lightly spicy and complements well with the spring roll. The spring roll had a good amount of pork and lettuce, all of which are indeed fresh. The pork belly yakitori had a good meat to fat ratio - not too fatty but also there is enough fat to bring forth the flavor. There is hoisin sauce and kimchi on the side that further enhances the flavor, but it is not necessary to add to the pork belly as it is flavorful enough alone. The chicken katsu curry was decent, above average. It was not out of the ordinary but enjoyable enough. The Khao Soi chicken had noodles with al dente texture and lots of vegetables. The curry soup is very fragrant and the leftover rice mixed with the soup made a nice finish to the entrees. I personally got the Singapore Sling - which came with a shark cup! I always love gin-based cocktails and this one also hits the spot both flavor-wise and presentation-wise. For $14, this is one of the better deal cocktails I have enjoyed in a restaurant around the area. Service is excellent. Water refills are frequent as they switch up the water jugs whenever they were almost empty. The waitress was friendly and had some small talk, and liked how we take lots of pictures. It was unexpected that she gave us an extra bowl of rice and also free dessert - mango sticky rice + coconut gelato which I highly recommend as the dessert was not too sweet but at the same time refreshing and very fruity. Even without the freebies, this still stands as a solid 5 stars for the food and the service!

Yelp
Phenomenal, delicious place to eat! Spring rolls (pork) - 8/10 -- Delicious although could be more flavorful Pork belly yakitori - 10/10 -- the pork was very succulent! Khao Soi Chicken - 11/10 -- this was the star of the meal. It was fairly spicy, but very flavorful and filling. The chicken was excellent and, in conjunction with other ingredients, a marvelous composition. Chicken katsu - 10/10 -- the chicken katsu was delightfully crispy! we found ourselves wanting more of the chicken and having much of the potato/carrot left over. more chicken (drool) would have been even better! Ambience - 9/10 Service - 11/10 -- Food came very fast and the owner gave us free dessert ice cream for our diligence in taking foodie photos hahaha. Quality - 10/10 -- I personally really enjoyed the food here and how savory + flavorful they were. Value - 9/10 -- Large portion sizes for sure! Moderately pricey as well however, with final food (before cocktail) before tax+tip is $22. We came out quite filled and satisfied however! Overall - 10/10

Yelp
Met some friends for dinner. Indo is in the Stadium district in Tacoma. Cute little place, really cool ambiance with an indoor fire table. Our server's name was Sara, I forgot her Thai name but she told us a few times! Sara was fantastic! She was so attentive. She immediately brought me some hot green tea while waiting for my friends, was so nice on a cold, rainy day! We all ordered cocktails- they were delicious. The cashew chicken lettuce wraps- amazing- these are a must try!! Also tried the Pad see ew. We stayed and chatted for a bit, had a few more cocktails. Sara brought us some mochi to try- the cayenne pepper chocolate- delicious!! Indo is one of my new favorite places!

Yelp
This review has nothing to do with the food. I've dined here before and the food was excellent. Showed up at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday. Normal hours are until 9 p.m. There was a closed sign in the door but it was unlocked. About half the tables were occupied. I asked the waitstaff at the counter if they were, indeed, closed and she replied "yes, it hasn't been busy so we decided to close early". Note to manager: you just lost another customer. No wonder you weren't very busy!

Yelp
My friend and I enjoyed our cocktails. Our server was kind and attentive to our needs. We shared a few appetizers, including the dumplings. I want to go back and try an entree sometime!

Yelp
The food was full of flavor and surprisingly good. I expect little from fusion restaurants just because I personally prefer authentic places. The table next to us was having the Spicy Singapore Curry Shrimp and it looked amazing! And it didn't disappoint! The lettuce wraps were good as well. I wish it came with a bowl of rice with it. They had a shift change so our server changed somewhere in the middle of the meal. Wish they would've done a handoff but not a huge deal. Our server at the end of the meal was so kind and went out of his way to bring a little thing of kimchi for my friend when we told him she's never had kimchi. 5/5 Spicy Singapore Curry Shrimp 3.5/5 Lettuce Wraps DIY

Yelp
Solid food. Service is a little bit hit and miss. Gets very very busy in the evening especially on the weekends. It's fairly dark inside and can be a bit loud as well. If you're trying to catch up with friends or have a conversation it might not be the right place.

Yelp
Visited 10/19/23. I dreamed about this place from the moment I tried it a few years ago while visiting Tacoma. Of course I had to go again during this trip. Shout out to Sarah, an absolutely amazing server who does the most to make sure her tables are taken care of. She was so attentive and every table seemed to love her. I started out with the first bloom drink which was solid, although I would maybe try something else in the future. We started out with the kale and edamame dumplings. These were super solid and great to share, especially having a vegetarian in our group. The dipping sauce that goes with them is chefs kiss wonderful. I got the spicy Singapore curry shrimp for a meal and this was so incredibly good. If you can handle a bit of spice you should definitely go for it. Overall, such a great experience-thank you to all involved!

Yelp
This place is really nice, there is a fire pit that you can sit around while you eat, but other tables as well. The service is always great. I've tried different dishes each time we have gone and have not been disappointed. It can get busy so try not to go during peak hours!
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Can not speak on service as it was a takeout order and my only interaction with anyone was telling them i had a pickup and my name. The place was packed with many patrons waiting outside for a table. We had the Spicy Shrimp Curry, Shrimp & Chive dumplings & the DIY chicken lettuce wraps. All of it was amazing. The standout was for sure the dumplings, but we'd order all if it again.

Yelp
Today, was a very ver busy day. Almost every corner filled with delightful food and interesting background chatter of friends catching up. Fresh ingredients with a willingness to modify to your tastes, and reasonable prices, it's a great place to try something new.

Yelp
Let's talk about service first. Sarah greeted us at the door and introduced us to everyone on staff. Who does that? When she brought out the food, she told us the best way to assemble our lettuce wraps so that we could experience the food the best way possible. I don't know what this restaurant is doing to empower her to be this amazing because she has pride of ownership. Is she the owner? I don't know, but you almost never see servers act like the restaurant is an extension of who they are. She works with love and she made our visit amazing. The food is solid and the flavors are bold. Everything is slightly too saucy which means it's delicious, but I would have liked to taste the food more than the sauces. I had the bahn mi sans jalapeno and cilantro and it was very sweet. Dad had the pad see ew and it was fine. Mom had the lettuce wrap and the port was tasty, but swimming in sauce with other sauces on the side as condiments for your wrap. Sis had the Khao Nam Tod (kinda like a fried rice lettuce wrap) and the flavors were tart and gingery and she loved it. She also tried the Imperial Coconut 2.0 drink and it was boozy enough for her to get lulled into naptime. We got in there just right before the lunch rush because there were people waiting to be seated when we left. Most of the seats were booths which is love.

Yelp
The food was full of flavor and the restaurant had good energy. I wish I remembered our servers name, she was absolutely amazing! Personable, friendly, was always checking in with us, she was amazing, with great energy! The restaurant has several seating areas which was great, near a table top fire, group open seating and semi private too! We will be back!

Yelp
Incredible food! We loved the cashew chicken wraps, the shrimp and chive dumplings and the green beans. After that, we tried the spring rolls. All outstanding Excellent service by Joey and the welcoming hostess, Bri. Ambiance was busy, but with things running well. Noise level just moderate. We can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
Perhaps the best dining in Tacoma. Consistently satisfying, absolutely delicious dishes. Prompt, friendly service. Energetic atmosphere.

Yelp
I have been in a couple times. Once with a group of friends and once with my two young daughters. Both times the service was outstanding! Indo is always busy but 2 things never fail, the delicious food and the wonderful customer service. My kids have been begging me to go back because of how sweet the owner was to them. And she really was. She brought us waters and sat us next to the fire until a more private larger table was available in the back. The food is authentic but with a modern twist on everything. They take the casual dim sum and escalate the presentation, but that doesn't mean they slack on the flavor! This is our favorite spot in Tacoma
google avatar

Jala D.

Yelp
Service was good. Food was not. Order Pad See Ew & it didn't taste authentic or Asian seasoned at all. Very lazy version of this dish. Why are there eggs in it? Absolutely not.

Minnie J.

Yelp
DO NOT EAT HERE YOU WILL GET SCAMMED Food was ridiculously over-priced yet somehow mediocre at best. Worth half of what it cost, and tasted like college dining hall food. After being charged correctly, Indo Asian Street Eatery additionally charged me a separate $92 three days later. My card was not stolen, and after calling them, they gave no explanation other than the fact that they would "look into it." Currently waiting to hear back, but am greatly disappointed.

Yelp
Great food! Service was excellent. All the food was hot and fresh.Portions are large lots to take home. The pork belly Yakitori was particularly great. Shui mai pork and shrimp beautifully presented and excellent. Pad Thai, chicken katsu curry, edamame and kale dumplings, spicy Singapore shrimp, all great choices. Definitely will be coming back to try more dishes.

Yelp
We didn't arrive quite early enough for a Friday evening so we had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. (We were offered immediate seating in the shared space around the fire pit by the front entrance, but we opted to wait for a regular table.) In time, we were seated at a booth about half way back that was immediately across from an entry into the kitchen and bar space. There was a lot of traffic and a LOT of noise -- clanging dishes, loud voices, etc. in that seating location. That being said, the restaurant as a whole is pretty loud. It appeared to be a very "happening" place on this Friday evening. Service was prompt and reasonably paced. Our particular server almost seemed too quiet for such a lively environment, though he did a fine job. For starters, we enjoyed delicious and generously portioned spring rolls and the edamame & kale dumplings -- both very tasty! Entrees were Mao Po Tofu, Spicy Singapore Curry Shrimp, and the Korean BBQ Kimchi Bowl. We ordered the latter without onions, and it came with chopped white onions and also garnished with diced green onions. But they took it back no questions asked and remade it for us promptly. We chose Indo Asian Street Eatery primarily because it had solid vegan options for the one vegan in our party, and it did not disappoint for him nor for the rest of us. We will return if we visit Tacoma in the future.

Yelp
In the past I have been hesitant to visit here. The price has always been a bit of a turn off. My wife's boss kept insisting its worth the price, with that said I will agree the portions you receive are larger than other spots I would say are comparable in food and while are not perfect are close to the price. The Bahn Mi is huge and I would say a quarter bigger than my favorite spot. And the wings come out to about $2/wing which is close but on the higher side of chicken wing in Tacoma. Most average around $1.75. At my favorite bahn mi and second favorite wing spot I believe out the door I am around $16, the price of the wings here and with the bahn mi being $14 you are around $30 for my favorite more... but you do get more food, not double the food, but close. Now when it comes to the food I will suggest you take my review with a grain of salt. I ordered to go and I think for the wings at minimum you need to have them in person. It doesnt excuse my issues with the bahn mi, but it does explain the slight sogginess of the wings. They appear to be fried, but with the spicy sauce end up a little mushy by the time I was able to get to them. That was my only complaint with the wings. The flavor was nice, but mushy wing was only ok. The bahn mi was huge and I unfortunately had two issues. The first is extremely minor, but the bread tore through the back pretty easily, now I do think that is primarily related to the amount of stuff on the inside, and is a really small issue, it also may be mitigated by slicing the sandwich in half. The other issue is a major is issue the pork was so dang dry. It was some of the driest I have ever had in sandwich or not. At this point I usually recommend or not. I think I am the odd one out here and I think my experience is not accurate to most peoples experience. With that in mind I will skip a recommendation. I am a bit torn on this one. For me the price is just too high, now the price to quantity is not terrible, but still a little high. The price to quality was low for me, but might be better a second go, but honestly the price still turns me off.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance and great service here. The food is pretty good, but had no spice! Idk if you have to ask for it spicy or what -- the waitress didn't ask about spice levels and our food had none. And I ordered papaya salad which should always be spicy! If I come back I'll be asking for spicy food, other than that the food was good and flavorful, but man zero heat was weird (and disappointing).

Yelp
I had such a lovely time spending my Christmas Eve at Indo! When I sat down, I was able to sit next to the fire, which was lovely because it was a cold night. I was immediately greeted by Zach, who was super knowledgeable and charismatic - I felt like I was chatting it up with a friend! I ordered a strawberry lemonade and my the vermicelli noodle bowl sub chicken. Both items came out super quickly and were absolutely delicious! I ended up talking with the couple that sat down next to me, which was really fun, because the fire seating allowed for it, and it really made my evening. Between the great service, the cool seating area, and the amazing food, I had a wonderful night and I will definitely be back!

Yelp
One of our favorite places, pad Thai & pad see ew are a must. Very good cocktails as well! Clean & great ambiance!

Yelp
I need to come back! Food was so flavorful and customer service was exceptional. Everyone was really nice! Husband had the day off so we made a trip out to Tacoma. So glad we did because we found this spot! We ordered the pork banh mi and the chicken banh mi sandwich. Both were very tasty we also had the chicken wings. I highly recommend it all. I want to come back to try their spring rolls, dumplings, noodles and more! They also have fire pit seating which is really nice. Bathroom was clean and shared with two other restaurants I believe.

Yelp
Stopped by here with my daughter based on her suggestion based on a Google search. From the moment we walked in we received outstanding service. We chose window seats, but there is a very nice square firepit with seating around it. Love that. In addition, there are freestanding tables in groups of two and the booths. I'm guessing that there are larger tables in the back as we saw a few larger parties walk-in. We opted for small plates. Chinese egg rolls, Shumia Dumplings, Shrimp Dumplings and chicken wings. I skipped those because they looked spicy and my daughter reported that they were indeed spicy. I would reorder everything again. The Shumia Dumplings are elegant. The sauce for the Shrimp Dumplings added a little heat and amped up the flavor. The Egg Rolls were crisp with a perfect sauce that provided a little sweetness.

Yelp
Closing before 8:00 PM IS A REAL TURN OFF! The food is amazing but arriving at 7:45 and told to order within 5min because they were closing in 15 min was not a relaxing experience. Such a shame! Won't be dining there any time soon
google avatar

Kevin E.

Yelp
This is our second stop at Indo Asian Street Eatery. It will not be the last. We started with the Pork Belly Lettuce Wrap. We had enough pork belly to eat all the lettuce they gave us (which was a NICE portion) and still bring some home to use with our own Romaine. The Khoa Soi Chicken in a coconut curry broth was fantastic. Again... the portion was large enough that we brought home plenty of broth to have another meal with rice at home. The Pad Thai was the weakest item. It was good, but nothing special. But two 5 star items, one 4 star item, and 5 star friendly service in a chill environment, equal 5-stars by my math.

Yelp
Food is always amazing!! The service was great! I highly recommend the vermicelli bowl! The ambiance is very pleasing!

Yelp
Looking for some Fresh Spring Rolls or great tasting Noodle Dishes? Then head over to Indo Asian Street Eatery in Tacoma's Stadium District. Indo serves up great Asian Fusion dishes with fresh ingredients. We love the ambiance and excellent service. Recommendations: 1) Starters: Try the Fresh Spring Rolls and Pork Belly Yakitori. 2) Noodle Dishes: Try the Vietnamese Vermicelli Noodle Bowl or the Khao Soi Chicken with coconut curry broth, Thai chicken, egg noodles, red onion, and cilantro. 3) Rice Dishes: Try the Thai Basil Chicken Fried Rice with egg, lime, bell pepper, onions. 4) Dessert: Try the Black Rice Pudding with Coconut Gelato.

Yelp
We ordered the fresh spring rolls w/shrimp as an appetizer and it was good. Our entrees were the Beef bahn mi, Teriyaki Chicken, and the pork belly wraps. Everything was delicious. Service was great and parking was free as the bank next door was closed.

Yelp
吃饭!What's up y'all Project Pat the king of Memphis Tennessey and I've been saving Indo Asian for my 200th review. The food is A GOOD BIT BETTER THAN AVERAGE but not the best I've ever had. Still really good though. Have a couple dishes from East and South Asia each. Curry was REAL GOOD. Honestly the service and the vibe are equal to the food. Outstanding drinks and responsive staff. If I had company in town I WOULD RECOMMEND. NOT cheap but NOT expensive. Stay trill baby I'll be coming back. 5 stars.

Yelp
I am so very disappointed. I have been wanting to try this place since they won "best of." Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Let's start with the food since it is the reason we went. The shumai were overcooked and soggy. For some reason, they floated a raw jalapeno slice on the sauce- the dish wasn't spicy at all, the jalapeno did not change the flavor of the sauce, and it was in the way. It was just a very poor garnish choice. We also had egg rolls- They were bland, small, and served too hot. The cucumber on the plate with the thumb sized egg rolls tasted like mold. Between the quality of the food and the lack of service, we decided against ordering entrees and went elsewhere. By lack of service I mean we were ignored repeatedly by multiple staff members, and the server acted visibly disappointed when we didn't want drinks. It was not busy when we were there, since it was pretty early for dinner, but there were still at least 5 cooks in the kitchen, each appeared to be making only 1 dish. The server was slow to take our order, and left before we could order entrees, which ended up working to our advantage. We were seated by 1 staff member, had another take our order, had a third deliver our food and were checked out by still another. None of them was apparently capable of asking us if we needed anything else, such as soy sauce or pointing out that the menu is ONLY online. Their prices *might* have been justified if the quality and portions had matched expectations, but they failed miserably in both areas. The bar pretending to be a restaurant was nice looking, but the seats were hard, it was loud even when mostly empty, and the room was cold. Oh, and there wasn't any parking. We won't be back.

Yelp
The plating was lovely and very friendly service. I really like the pork belly skewer and the crispy rice salad. Our group of four liked the booth seating and it was fun to be able to watch the kitchen in action.

Yelp
The old joke goes, "The food is terrible, and the portions are so small!" Well, at this Tacoma restaurant, the food is amazing and the portions are massive. Let's get the one blemish out of the way first. In a misguided attempt at being healthy, we ordered the kale & edamame dumplings. They were .... fine. Honestly, the dipping sauce saved them. But other than that, everything was amazing. We literally fought over the pork belly yakitori- it was that good. The picky teen ordered a bahn mi and polished it off in minutes. We also had the pad see ew (excellent!) and the Korean BBQ kimchi bowl- which was one of the best meals I've had on this extended trip. The restaurant was full for lunch, but we still received excellent service. My only regret is that we were just visiting Tacoma, and I won't be able make this place a regular visit.

Yelp
Literally, the best food, best service, best prices, best music and overall energy!! It has been an absolute pleasure eating here. I highly recommend. I have never been happier after eating at a restaurant!

Yelp
Loved everything about this place. Great food that was made with fresh ingredients, presented beautifully and served quickly. Servers were attentive and very friendly. They were knowledgeable about the menu and it was clear they enjoyed what they were doing.

Yelp
Decided to try this restaurant based on the amount of positive reviews. Restaurant is small and parking is limited. Tried several appetizers and entrees. Every one of the dishes were either good or delicious except the fried rice and salmon. Salmon was overcooked with the white rice undercooked and the fried rice was undercooked and bland. Service was good. Overall a good eating experience. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. The best calamari I have ever had. The build your owns. We get those often. The spring rolls are delicious. Pad se ew was great. I had not ever tried anything like it before. One dish is a fried rice with sausage I forget what it was called but it was definitely a favorite. The service, atmosphere, and food is top notch. Prices are reasonable for the quality your getting here.

Yelp
We were staying in Tacoma for a night and decided to try this neighborhood restaurant after seeing raving reviews. We had to wait for about 20ish minutes for a table on a Sat night. Service was quick and friendly. We ended up getting a few apps like chicken satay, fresh spring rolls, shumai and korean wings. Everything was great except the wings (too sweet for me). For mains we got the pad see ew and basil fried rice: pretty decent. Reasonable prices. We were able to find parking spots around easily.

Yelp
Parking is a little tough but they're good! It's nice & hip inside & the servers are all excellent even if they're not at your table. Thai iced coffee is great and my curry was pretty good. I knocked off one star only because it's not as authentic tasting for me.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place for a romantic date night or dinner with friends or to grab a quick meal, this is your place. You are probably thinking no way! But, it's true my friend. Don't be fooled by the name. For such a small place, it manages to create an ambiance suited for various occasions. The first thing you see upon entering is the bar that offers a good amount of sitting. To the left is an indoor firepit table for that amorous meal. Straight back are tables that accommodate a night out with friends. Lined against the window is another bar table for single or two-party eaters. On to the food. We ordered the hoisin pork belly lettuce wrap, spicy Singapore curry shrimp, and Chinese egg rolls. The savory flavor of the hoisin pork was a perfect combination of sweet and spicy. In addition, you are provided with three other sauces on the side for dipping. The pork was so flavorful I choose to eat as is. I often avoid food that has ginger as an ingredient. I tend to find the ginger is either overpowering or nowhere to be found. However, the spicy Singapore shrimp blend the ginger perfectly. If you like a Thai heat level above one, you must request extra Thai chili pepper sauce on the side. What can I say about the Chinese egg rolls? They were busting with aromatic flavor enhanced by the soy dipping sauce with a crispy out wrap and well cook cooked inside. Unlike most typical deep-fried egg rolls, these were not dripping with oil. The staff is very welcoming. I wish they had introduced themselves. We spoke to multiple staff, who eagerly engaged us in conversation. Not one introduced themselves as our server. Finally, we just asked. Nevertheless, we received excellent service. Each staff member took an order and we received everything promptly. Kudos to the servers!! Overall, I was not disappointed with the taste and portion size of our meals. The price is extremely reasonable (affordable) for the quality and portion size. I gave the establishment 4 out of 5 stars because they ran out of the Shumai pork and shrimp dumpling by 7 pm. A recurrence every Friday evening. Come one, if it is a popular dish, at least have enough on hand until 9 pm.

Yelp
Found this gem on a whim, looking for a nice place to eat in Tacoma. I'd driven by this area plenty of times, but never did I catch that there was an Asian eatery here. When you go in the first thing you'll probably notice is the fireplace seating to the left, and lots of natural light. We were seated immediately and used the QR code to look up the menu. The items are reasonably priced. I got the shrimp and chives dumplings. It was delicious, but for 4 pieces to be $10, I thought it was a lil overpriced. For the main entrees though, we had the kao soi and green curry. Both were delicious and huge portions, so much so that we had to take home boxes. The servers were very nice and checked on us often. Looking forward to coming back here again

Yelp
Absolutely delicious, and lots of good vegetarian options. Good service, nice ambiance.
