Industry Review - East Austin - Austin - The Infatuation

"Acting as a sort of tribute to service industry culture—casual, affordable, inclusive—Industry in Plaza Saltillo in East Austin is an all-day/late-night cafe, bar, and restaurant (the original location is in San Marcos). The menu is huge, spanning everything from tacos and chile rellenos to smoked chicken sandwiches and burgers—so it shouldn’t be hard to find something well suited to your friend group’s six different dietary needs." - Nicolai McCrary

Edited to 1 star from 3 overall. Why? Was just looking at our receipt. They are adding a "Real Wage Guarantee" of 20% to your bill. They ask you to tip BEFORE you see the receipt so you don't know until you get it that they're adding this line. That is theft by deception. Indoor and outdoor seating. Full bar available. Friendly service. I had the fish tacos which were really good. My husband had the brisket pastrami sandwich and said it was good.

If you are looking for the Austin vibe & known craft dining experience, Industry is the place to go! Everything we tried had complex flavors that complimented each other. For flavor & food, I wish there was a Sixth star to grade. Every bite of my burger had a slight sweet garlic flavor with a robust mix of after taste. Chicken strips had a well thought out seasoning and breading, it was different then "everyone's" elses. French fries were plenty thick with a double crisp texture and not overly salty. I also had a habanero sauce on the side, it was sweet with just enough kick to enjoy without suffering. The word to best describe their food in a very good way... they are "different"! The environment is kind of loud, but you can still hear each other talk. It was very busy, but the staff kept up with the pace and there was tons of seating inside, outside and bar side. Being a kitchen/ bar style restaurant, the environment was comfortable and did the job. If you want to go somewhere new and not get stuck with the same ole, or planning a date night, night out with friends or family outing to a tried and true place, either way this place is a top choice for me.

It’s a good place to chill out. Theres was a guy playing guitar beautifully. Theres a table tennis , amazing time pass. Rice bowl was amazing. I loved their French toast and pecan pie.. I almost forgot to take a pic of my food, it was yummy. I would recommend their bottomless mimosa.

Okay, so this was a nice little surprise place. The vibe is chill I am a fan of the tables and benches. First time here and I ordered the CFC chicken fried chicken , came with queso and was delicious. I can really appreciate a kitchen that can make requests on orders, such as instead of fish in the fish taco, my Wife traded shrimp for the fish. Our friend, Marcus, who took us ordered the A. Quesadilla with the request to have the CFC in it. Staff was great and efficient. Ordering food was easy and food came out fast. Overall the food was great and filling. We had a great time just hanging out. Sorry got to the pics a little late but y'all see the empty plates lol. Thank you Industry it was much needed today.

Great venue! Lots of street parking. Seemed like a hip area. Lots of seating. Great spot for trivia and big events. Impressed with the building, details, and lighting. Great partnerships for the night. Maybe not the most ideal for gf and df allergies but okay for someone that doesn’t need an epi pen. Wouldn’t mind to hear others feedback on how ordering goes for them if they mention allergy. The menu is marked with vegan and vegetarian options. The drink menu is fun and the well done. Definitely foodie options! Could be the next Cheers spot. Only you can decide when you go to trivia weekly. 😊

Google
This is a review based on a take-out order. I got the Smoked Brisket Pastrami sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've eaten! I skipped using the brisket au jus cause it was delicious already (and to be honest i forgot it was in there till the end - so i tried it and it didn't add anything to the flavor. The texas bread is so soft and the 10 day brined brisket was so tender and flavorful with the Dijon and bacon jam. The price is steep at $18, but I had a gift card and am so glad I picked this! It came with potato chips which seemed very fresh and possibly made in house. I also took advantage of Mescal Monday she got a margarita to go!! In regards to service. When I walked up to the counter a nice young lady rushed over to help. She said "you must be Kevin" cause it was 4:30p and I had the only pickup order. My food was ready before the expected ready time too!! I wish they had a customer service 15 minute parking spot in front, for pickup orders, but that's nothing against the restaurant. There was plenty of parking on the street and you just have to be quick. On another day i ordered the blueberry habanero wings! First of all, i feel they are definitely worth the $12 (for 6). The wings are moist and the flavor is very unique and delicious. I also got the sweet potato fries which come with a yummy spicy sauce. I wish the fries were a like crisper but they still were tastey!

Google
Rating: 4.1/5 [dine in] The space is huge and great for large gatherings. Service was minimal though, and they also automatically add 20% tip to all checks which we weren't fans of. Mezcal Margarita ($7 on Mondays): We were worried it might be watered down, but it was actually really good - strong and didn't taste like bottom shelf at all. Texas Fish Fry ($18): Cornmeal-fried Texas catfish, fries, house tartar sauce, and chimichurri. The piece of fish was huge and delicious, though the crust was pretty salty--definitely something to wash down with your drink. We swapped the regular fries for sweet potato fries, which were solid. Brisket Tacos ($15 for 3): House salsa, avocado crema, cilantro, fried onion, flour tortillas. The tacos were just okay. The brisket came cubed, which probably wasn't the best choice for tacos. Each component tasted good on its own, but they didn't come together as a cohesive bite. The chips and salsa were good. Pork Belly Bites ($11.50): House black BBQ sauce, sesame seeds, fried kale, and green onion. A little dry and slightly overcooked, but still tasty. Loved the fried kale. Crispy Brussels Sprouts ($9): Dijon bourbon glaze, green onion, and candied pecans. Not crispy, but they were well-seasoned. 4 Grilled Shrimps ($5): Basic but juicy. Not something I'd order again, though.

Google
Ok food, ok service, & deceptive pricing was my experience. They add in a 20% Living Wage Guarantee charge to your bill & ask for a tip upon checkout. If that was advertised anywhere I missed it - which is unlikely as I'm one who has had it with the ludicrous tipping culture & notice such. Plausible I missed it. Unlikely. I will never return because of that 20% charge nor recommend others do so. It is a despicable practice.

Yelp
Amazing sports bar!! Great atmosphere, excellent food, and excellent staff. The sandwich I ordered was to die for, and the prices are reasonable. The smoked brisket pastrami had amazing flavor, portions were well balanced, and it sit very well in my system throughout the day. They do have happy hours throughout the week, great place to hang with friends before hitting the town.

Yelp
The location and convenience of this place is awesome. I gave them 4 stars because sometimes the food isn't my favorite but I do highly recommend the burger. The service is always 5 stars- they are very attentive. Another great thing to note is they have a good amount of NA drinks as well as great coffee for those doing dry january or cutting back on drinking.

Yelp
The food was good, but not outstanding. This is a great place to do some work in the day or relax with friends at night. The service was excellent, everyone was so nice. There is free WiFi for guests, occasional live music, board games, table tennis, and comfortable seating. One unique thing about Industry is that they automatically charge 20% gratuity to support their staff. If you are able to tip that, it's great, however my chicken sandwich totaled at $17, without a drink or sides. If I were to come again, it would be for the bar, not for the food. Food 3.5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Price 3/5

Yelp
Tried Industry with a friend before a concert at Scoot Inn. The girls at the counter were helpful with suggestions. We ended up trying the brisket tacos and the beef & cheese burger for food, and a margarita and the Pool Floaty for drinks. My friend really liked her tacos and I scarfed my burger down. I love burgers with pimento cheese and this one had a nice spicy kick to it from the jalapeños. She said the margarita was just ok, but the Pool Floaty was really delicious and refreshing. The vibe was very nice and laid back and there was good music playing. I would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Came here with some coworkers. Loved the ambiance! I've always loved the "industry look" and feel and they nailed it. They have both inside and outside seating with heaters and huge doors between the two areas. The staff is also nice. We were there for lunch and all of us loved the crispy Brussels sprouts. Highly recommend. Everyone also enjoyed the queso and chips. For meals, we had the burger, the bowl, and fish with sweet potato fries. The fish wasn't smothered with sauce like in the photos which was nice but I'm not sure if we asked for that. We paid like $3 for street parking and it was not packed at all on a Tuesday afternoon. Check their website because they had a stage, some games, and TVs - so they probably have events later in the day.

Yelp
Some places are unique and Industry is one of those because of the way it is designed. They have outdoor seating, which is unique because of the comfortable pillow, but they also keep the large doors open so even the inside seating feels like a hybrid. We love the Ambiance this place has The food has some favorites and some unique items like the grilled peppers with almond dip. Everything they have is delicious. The cocktails can be less sweet but that would be nitpicking. We have been there a few times and we will keep going again and again.

Yelp
Went to Industry for a quick lunch but ended up staying there to get some work done. It's a great spot to hang after work and grab a beer.

Yelp
Industry provides a great spot for flavorful comfort food and a fun atmosphere. The smoked pork belly bites were tender and flavorful, with a slightly sweet touch. The bacon-braised green beans had a smoky punch, and the Industry CFC had crunchy yet tender fried chicken. The BBQ brisket salad was my favorite--smoky, refreshing, and perfectly dressed. The staff was friendly, and the venue has a lively vibe with plenty of seating and free table games. There's a rotating DJ on Fridays and added a fun energy. Overall, Industry is a great spot to hang out with friends, enjoy good food, and relax in a welcoming space.

Yelp
Did you know that they have a smoker going in the back? Chef Eddie and the amazing team are masters at using it! From mouthwatering smoked olives that elevate their Bloody Marys to a brisket wash that infuses flavor into their Old Fashioneds and juicy burger patties--it's a smoky paradise! Here are some must-tries: Burgers made with 70% beef & 30% brisket Brussels sprouts that are simply PHENOMENAL Indulge in pecan pie and banana pudding for dessert! P.S. Don't miss the award-winning Bloody Mary with those smoked olives--it's a game changer!

Yelp
Can't say enough terrible things about this place but it was such an awful experience others should know about it. Came here for my 30th birthday and Ordered a burger off of the brunch menu. After waiting for 20 mins they bring out the wrong food and we told them we didn't order that and they just said okay. They come back 15 mins later and said it's not available for brunch and we showed them the menu and he said okay we can make it and then comes back another 20 mins later and says never mind we can't make it. No apologies nothing. I ask to speak to the manager and i see the manager give him an attitude and say no. So not only did i leave my own birthday with nothing to eat but also not one apology or even asked if they could switch it with something else. The entire experience was so terrible and i hope someone can avoid feeling like this on their birthday with this review.

Yelp
If you think Industry is just another sports bar serving typical American fare, you'd be mistaken. While they do have a full bar, a bunch of TVs, a ping pong table and corn hole, their food is what takes it to another level. Talking to the managers, they told us that they brought in a new chef 8 months ago and that's why their food game has taken off. We ordered the Industry Burger, which they make the patty in house, the Beef Cakes (pancakes topped with their smoked brisket, bacon and berry compote), and the brussel sprouts. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Add to that their specialty cocktails, (industry Old Fashioned with their in-house brisket fat washed rye) and the award winning Bloody Mary, you can't go wrong. This is a great place to hang out when you're in East Austin, complete with a laid back atmosphere and friendly staff.

Yelp
I had a team dinner with over 10 people in my group at Industry. One pro of this place is that it can accommodate large groups, since it has a fairly large indoor seating area and outdoor seating. We were seated outdoors. The food here was alright. We ordered some chips and salsa and pork belly bites as appetizers. The chips and salsa were good, and the pork belly bites had nice flavor but texture was tough. In terms of tacos, the portions were quite small, especially for the Chicken Tinga Tacos. Multiple people ordered this, and the portion size was consistently small for all of them. The tacos themselves were alright - not bad but nothing astonishing. The brisket tacos seems a lot more packed portion-wise and was definitely the better of the two. I also got a Keyed Up cocktail, which wasn't too bad. It came with a side of graham cracker crumbs, but to be honest, it did not really add anything to the drink. Service felt a bit jumbled. There was some hiccups with orders and certain items missing from orders. I also heard from a friend that the previous day, they did not have any iced water available for them, which was odd.

Yelp
Industry is THE place to go in Austin! Visiting from CO, such a fun atmosphere and great food! Staff was so personable and offered phenomenal customer service.
google avatar

Cathy L.

Yelp
The ambiance was nice, with plenty of seating and even a ping pong table, which added a fun touch. It's a great spot to hang out, but unfortunately, the food didn't match the vibe. The blackened catfish was a major disappointment--overly salty and charred, with partially uncooked rice underneath. The flavors just didn't come together, and it was tough to enjoy. Hopefully, they can work on getting the balance right in the future. One thing that surprised us was the mandatory 20% service charge. You order off a QR code on your table, so the extra service fee didn't make much sense. On top of that, they ask if you'd like to leave an additional tip after already adding the 20%.

Yelp
Really liked the queso and chicken tinga tacos. This is a great spot to go on a beautiful day. Lots of seating and great music playing. They have games to play there too. Inside and outside seating. Would definitely come back on one of their themed nights, maybe ladies night.

Yelp
Ambience was cool. Food was good. Servers are over worked and understaffed. Giving one star for service. It was our first time visiting industry. On the website, they pride themselves in providing a different experience for people in the service industry. Because of this you do get charged 20% for gratuity when visiting and you do not have a set server. Unfortunately, when it comes to service, the service sucks here and it is not the server's fault it is actually the owner and or management fault. I believe all servers should get 20% gratuity for the service they provide when we sit down to eat. I used to be a server and really feel there are a lot of opportunities for industry. They do not have enough people to serve the amount of people coming into this establishment, especially for a Sunday brunch day that offers bottomless mimosas. Do not come here if you are expecting to be served or have great service. This establishment is unorganized and I feel bad for the servers here because it is not their fault. If you purchase bottomless mimosas, be prepared to wait at the bar to get your refill. Do not expect the servers to refill your mimosas or even your sodas. Be prepared for your food and drinks to never come to your table. Be prepared for the chaos if you visit here do not come hungry because you will be waiting. If you want to speak to a manager, don't expect to speak to 1 he does not want to speak to you no matter how friendly you are. No matter how respectful you are. Opportunities for owners and or managers : When ordering with the cashier, have the cashier provide the drinks prior to having people leave to their table. Have more SERVERS working on Sunday. Have more than one bartenders scheduled for Sunday. The 1 1/2 they had did not work for Sunday. people who order bottomless mimosas maybe set an expectation that they can refill their mimosas at the bar instead of having them wait at their table for two hours wondering when someone is gonna come fill it up. Or constantly remind any server they can stop when passing by that they need a refill. Have 1-2 dedicated food runners. Industry's management and or owners could take a lesson or two from food chains like Texas road house when it comes to service or running an efficient establishment.

Yelp
I arrived back in Austin after a week in FL around 9:45 pm on Monday night. I was looking for a late night place to chill and grab a bite. Industry's website says they will serve food even if you arrive one minute before closing. I don't know how true that actually is because we were there a little after 10pm. They have a reverse HH from 10:30 to close. We ordered the house margarita which was pretty good. I mentioned that my specialty drink was an Old Fashioned. The bartender told me how he would make it and made one for me. He improvised because he didn't have all of the ingredients readily available. Good drink nonetheless. We started with the Green Chile Queso and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. My friend who picked me up at the airport (nice friend) had the Industry Bowl and I had the Industry Burger. The bowl was an interesting mix of greens, kale and veggies. My burger was a little bit dry...pretty much well done. Maybe I should have stipulated medium rare. The dill pickle mayo and bacon onion jam helped it to slide down my gullet. Service was great! The kitchen might have closed a few minutes early. It was a very slow night after all. I'll be back again for more late night adventures!
google avatar

Yelp
Went to a late night dinner with a friend since we were bar hopping around east 6th- which I appreciate that this place serves food later than most restaurants. You walk in, it's an open seating and you order food at the counter. The lady was really helpful and giving us recommendations. I ordered the cauliflower tacos and queso with brisket. My friend ordered the brisket tacos. I like that 3 tacos are served for that price but dang, they lacked flavor. The tortillas came straight from a bag and the friend cauliflower itself had no flavor. I had to dip it in the queso. The manager had came around asking how our food was and I was honest. He kindly took off 50% our meal and gave me a free drink. So he made it right in that moment. I should've went with my gut and ordered the burger but on a positive note, the queso for being no vegan was bomb! I was snacking on that the entire time. This place is a great spot if you have large parties or want a quick bite before you head downtown. I would recommend for ease and location, but probably won't be back.
google avatar

Remi W.

Yelp
We came in here as a group for drinks. The atmosphere was nice. It's sit down and then you walk up to the bar to order your drinks. Main cause for the low review is that they have a 20% auto gratuity on all tabs which I don't appreciate when I am walking up to the bar, ordering, and walking my drink back to my table.

Yelp
Dining at Industry is more than just a meal--it's an experience. The combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and a vibrant atmosphere makes it a must-visit spot in Austin. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to add Industry to your list. You'll leave with a satisfied palate, a full heart, and memories of a night that truly lived up to the hype! So, next time you're in Austin, don't miss out on this culinary gem. Industry is not just a restaurant; it's where food, fun, and fantastic service come together to create pure magic. And Andres is KING

Yelp
My visit to Industry was delightful. Located near Plaza Saltillo and the pocket dog park, its open-air layout and dog-friendly policy made for a welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the comfort food options were both satisfying and delicious. I highly recommend Industry for a casual dining experience.
google avatar

Katrina R.

Yelp
Loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was perfect and they had Thursday Night Football on! Service was great, you order and pay at the counter but there was a server walking around making sure everyone had everything they needed. The food was so good! Perfect for TNF! Highly recommend the queso!! The server at the counter recommended the catfish and I'm not usually a catfish lover but it was so buttery, not gritty at all, really good fish and chips! We also got the tacos but the queso was the star of the show!

Tanner G.

Yelp
Pretty crappy dining experience. Ordered our food only to find out there's no seating. The weird standing table in the middle of busiest walk way was the only option. Doesn't seem too bad except for the fact the food was about as average as average could be. The Industry burger is equivalent to P. Terrys taste wise and the handful of chips you get are like lays chips. This MIGHT be a cool spot if you're going out for drinks but good luck finding a seat in the dining area or 1 of the like 8 seats at the bar. But we came for a dining experience so the review is based off that.

Megan M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and fun place to gather with friends to watch games or hang out! Lots of open seating with benches so get there early to grab your spot! Food was all delicious and really fresh

Theron H.

Yelp
The food tasted really good, though the portions could be bigger and the prices a little more reasonable especially since there was very limited employee interaction. we enjoyed our experience. Our party also had fun playing the card games available. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I showed up HUNGRY. Alec recommended the nachos, said they would fill us up (which we didn't believe) and told us that chicken was a must add. Not only was he right but we were blown away by the quality of the food and service. You could tell that the chicken was smoked in house, absolutely incredible. We shared the nachos and both got full! The staff was so so friendly, Alec and madden took great care of us. The frose was dangerously good. As for the prices.... I can't believe with this location and ambience, Industry is able to provide great food with the most affordable pricing on the east side. I feel wrong calling this a hidden gem because it's in such a high traffic area but it's definitely a gem that we will now be regulars at!
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
A great place overall! Came in on a Saturday night and there was just a few groups there. The service was quick, very friendly and the employees were helpful the entire time. We ordered the brisket tacos, buffalo wings and 2 cocktails. Food was great as were the drinks! I also really enjoyed the ranch that came with the wings, tasted homemade. I would for sure come back here and try more of their menu. One thing to mention is there is a 20% gratuity added to all tabs, even at the bar. I was fine with this especially because of the great service! Just a good thing to know before stopping by.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this resturant. The pictures the resturant took of the burger made it look unreal so my husband and I decided to try it out. My husband ordered the burger and he ordered fries (it doesn't come with the burger but with chips) His burger was so flat lol it looked nothing like the pictures. Honestly T Perry's have better burgers for half the cost. They also gave him four chips :/ the burger was a 2/10. The fries were really good so a 7/10. But not worth it. For the price you can get a better burger at another restaurant. I ordered a chicken wrap which I really liked the flavor but there was hardly any chicken in it. They did give me a lot of chips. I would rate it a 6/10. They also charge a 20% service.... But you order at the cash register and they bring it out to you and you have to pour your own drink lol it's like going to a fast food place lol Chick fil a doesn't charge a 20% service fee because its not a restaurant.... That isn't service. Also you have to clean your own table. So I don't understand why a mandatory 20% service is necessary. Very confused. Once you pay they ask you to leave an extra tip on top of the 20%.... lol! It was a very interesting experience. So over all I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe if the prices were lower due to the quality of the food lol but there is better restaurants on the east side that are similar prices with better food.

Yelp
Went here for Sunday brunch with a friend and had a spread of food! Some of the food were misses but some we're really good. Highlights: - Industry bowl - breakfast tots - Vanilla OatMilk latte (loved this) Sadly a lot of the food I had was not the best quality - burger was dry, brunch bowl was not too flavorful, etc - but there were some things that were good! I probably wouldn't come back for the price as it isn't much to start but kinda sneaks up on you for the final bill. Nothing wrong with it, maybe just make the 20% wellness tip larger or incorporate it into the food price. $57 for two peoples brunch was kind of a lot.

Yelp
It was easy to make an appointment, he was on time, did a great job and did not leave a greasy mess. He was recommended by the fancy barbecue equipment store where I bought it.

Yelp
I met up with a group of Gals for Galentine's Brunch in Feb. This place fills up so get there on the earlier side if you have a big group. It's a fun meet up spot too. While we were there, a brewery party bus had a stop there and many people spilled in. The food has a nice variety of healthier options and heartier options. Which is another plus if you want to satisfy multiple preferences. As we were leaving, there was a Drag Brunch. We were only there for the beginning but it looked like a lot of fun!

Yelp
This was our first restaurant we stopped at during our Austin trip and it had us off to a great start! I love the laid back atmosphere with garage doors, a large bar and menu. We were starving for lunch and I'm glad I stopped here! My only disappointment was in my service while ordering. Somehow everything I ordered was out of stock - which would be fine normally except my friend who ordered before me was able to order the same things I wanted? Maybe he got the last one - not sure it just seemed odd. I had a glass of Chardonnay which was good, but the star of the show were the Chicken Tacos. I got 3 street tacos in the order and they were moist and flavorful. I couldn't get enough of them, I almost wanted to order more! Most of our table ordered the tacos and we all raved - definitely recommend them here.

Yelp
Found myself at Industry a few times in the past couple of months, how did I miss it before? Good selection of beers and really big food menu, shishito peppers are always delish and I love the brussels as well. (Hummus was weird). The best part about this place is probably the service, the guys behind the counter are silly, friendly, and super accommodating. If you're looking for a particular sports game they're down to turn it on (sans cowboys). The garage door style opening and huge windows make it a great place to vibe on a sunny day.

Reese M.

Yelp
Andres is the best server! Sunday brunch was the best i've had here in Austin! They were able to accommodate my allergy needs, and the food is great! drinks were extremely worth it as well!

Yelp
This place was a great spot for large groups as you can get seated by selecting your own table and they have large long tables. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. Easy online ordering option or you can place orders through your assigned waiter. The staff was kind and helpful. They have food specials throughout the week. Food was good and came out quick
google avatar

Farhat K.

Yelp
Came here before our flight back home for Sunday brunch and it's a great spot with plenty of seating. I got the chilaquiles which were solid. Flavorful and the portion was pretty big. However, I had a bite of my friends fish and chips and also pecan pancake and wish I had gone with either of those. The fish and chips were really good. It was crunchy, hot, and very fresh tasting. The pancakes were perfectly sweet. Service was solid too, they took our orders and food came within 20 mins. Family friendly vibe, with football games in the background. Overall, glad we checked out this place before coming back to the DMV.

Yelp
I'm so torn. During the final day of the ice storm it was one of the few places open so my friend and I jumped in for a quick drink after going stir crazy. HAD AMAZING SERVICE!!! Clean, cute, decent menu and dog friendly. I thought to myself, I must come back. Went back two nights later to have dinner and drinks and ended up sitting at the bar. What a drastic difference in experience the bartender would only come by if we had waited long enough to feel the need to do the wave (which sucks because I hate doing that being past service). We actually even skipped the last round because at this point we didn't have to work so hard for it. She did not move with a purpose or check up on anyone at the bar. Ended up closing out and she just sets the receipts down and walks away. We were confused because it didn't have the signature spot and tip line. Waved her over again and she just goes "yeah (insert some word here) isn't working so it just ran at the 20%" and walks away. The food was decent and the place is still super cute, convenient and dog friendly. It sucks this one bartender ruined the second time that I was excited for. If I get roped into coming back with friends I'm hopeful for an experience closer to the first quick drink time and will update the review if warranted

Yelp
Industry strongest pros is there is a lot of seating for big groups and they are opened late. Two thing that are hard in Austin to come by. They also let dogs in! I went with some friends for a weekday brunch and were easily able to walk in and get a table for 8 people. They have a huge menu that can probably be overwhelming. You are looking at your average bar food menu. I only got a drink the pre shift. It was a frozen drink with deep eddy's lime, peach, strawberry, lime. It was pretty much sweet there wasn't much balance. I didn't get food. At Industry charge a 20% service charge for everything. You go up order yourself and then they bring the food out to you. Now I'm sure if the 20% gets charged every time you go up, so I recommend you know what you want to order. I'll let you decide how you want to process that information. The staff was very nice at the counter.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this place. They have a wide menu, so there's something for everyone. Everything seems to be made fresh and from scratch. The healthy options (kitchen sink bowl) are equally as tasty as the not so healthy ones (nachos). I don't think I've had anything here that I haven't liked. The frozen coffee drink is by far one of my favorites. They have a ton of games including a ping pong tables. It's a great spot for large groups because the ordering process is very easy and they use toast tab so splitting checks isn't a problem. The ambiance is great with tons of outdoor and indoor space as well as natural light. The staff has also always been super friendly.

Yelp
Went for a quick brunch. They also had live music and you could request sings to be played. The sweet Benny and the chips a d cheese were delicious. You can leave your oder via a QR code in your phone and it will come directly to the table.

Yelp
4.75 stars. Dropped in for lunch, curious about the slightly mixed reviews. I feel badly that others had a negative service experience here; I did not. My order was taken with less than a minute's wait, and I also learned it's Whiskey Wednesday: $5 George Nickel, any way you want it. What I *really* wanted was a taco sampler of brisket, pork and smoked chicken. Denied! All or nothing. So I chose the beef, paid (it is a fair price) and waited outside. My drink came in about three minutes and about two minutes later, taco time. The (wheat) tortillas aren't made in house, but they tasted as if they were. Perfect texture, soft and just chewy enough. The beef was tender, but not strongly flavored. The cilantro was very muted, though I know that's a controversial herb for some. The crema and especially the pickled onions brought it all to life. I'll be back, hoping that the menu will include a sampler, and maybe the brisket gets punched up a bit. Overall, plenty of space, great location, relaxed and dog-friendly crowd, and winning drink prices.

Yelp
When my sister and I recently visited Industry. When I walked in, I noticed that the ambiance was inviting, and clean. The staff was friendly as well. What I can appreciate more than anything about this establishment is their business model. It's how gratuity should look across the restaurant industry. They add a 20% gratuity to the bill, while keeping the prices of menu items slightly lower and passing more money to servers, bartenders, and waitstaff, who definitely deserve it. It ensures more chance for a livable wage, especially here in Austin, where many of us feel the tug on our wallets. The bartender was more than willing to ensure that he created the best drink for each customer. The Hipster Holiday cocktail had a unique smoky jalapeño flavor. I also ordered the hummus plate after gazing at the QR code menu. That menu showed 4" cucumber slices with pita bread, and pumpkin seeds topping the Chimichuri-topped sweet potato hummus. What I received was shown below. The bread arrived "Cajun" style, and cucumbers were missing altogether, but were provided when I inquired about them. The manager was informed, then kindly mentioned that this was another location's menu. My only advice to the future customers is to be sure to ask if the items look like the pictures from the QR code menu. I would still return and recommend this restaurant, because of their excellent business model, tasty food/beverages, and standard of cleanliness.

Yelp
Came in on a slow Tuesday with a party of three. We just missed the happy hour but I think they were still honoring their Taco Tuesday special. I ordered the Sweet Potato Hummus and the Grain Bowl. The hummus was bomb and I ate the whole thing myself. I liked that it came with like a French bread but I think I would rather have it veggies or pita bread instead of the chips it came with. I tried hard to like the Grain Bowl but it came with super rubbery Brussels Sprout leaves whose raw and bitter taste overcame the rest of the bowl. There was a vinaigrette and avocado lime sauce in there as well but I could barely taste either. I'd give another one of their bowls or entrees a shot since the hummus was so good and my friends liked their food. Service was slow considering there weren't too many patrons in the building.y food came out in a normal time but my friends' tacos and even just their margarita came out much, much later. We even had to ask if they forgot the margarita because of how long it took. Inside is spacious and has cool tables. Another pro is their daily specials, but I'm still not over how long it took for my friend to get her margarita.

Yelp
The food was delicious, we got the queso. The service was up and beyond. They gave my pups treats, served to our every needs, saw my sisters birthday headband and brought out an ice cream brownie with a candle singing happy birthday! The ambiance is so welcoming and cool. highly recommend.

Yelp
Came here for UFC 289 and loved it! We expected it to be packed like SABG but it was quite empty! I'm guessing it's pretty new and not a lot of people know that they're showing the fight. We got here an hour early to grab a table for the group and ordered food and drinks. The burger I had was quite delicious and their frozen drinks were pretty damn boozy. There were also an abundance of street parking available so it was quite convenient for our group. Overall, great service, good food, good drinks and great location for watching the UFC fight. I would also note that they automatically include a 20% tip onto the bill so you don't have to do any math. I'd definitely be back again for the next fight!
