"When Payne has visitors, she steers them to Island Way Grill for fresh seafood caught daily. “You can't go wrong with a place that has its own fishing fleet,” said Payne. Opt for one of their specialties cooked over an open oak and citrus fire pit, like the black grouper with charred pineapple salsa, or indulge in a selection of freshly rolled sushi. The walls are filled with local art and the sunset views are fiery." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Service was good but the food was lacking. We are from out of town visiting and this came highly recommended, but I wouldn't say it was a hit. We got sushi that was good but got the special, a lobster ravioli. The ravioli was only 5 pieces, but they were not filled and had low flavor. The sauce was good but covered up the lackluster pasta.

My experience was wonderful! We had a 9:45 pm booking for Valentines day. I called because I was worried that they would cancel my reservation or tell me I couldn’t order food since they close at 10 (this has happened at other restaurants with available late reservations). The hostess who answered the phone reassured me that we would be fed AND offered me an 8:30 pm spot! Amazing. We get there and valet was helpful with finding parking. Inside, they had a live singer who sounded very romantic while we waited for our table. Outside seating was beautiful and they had heat lamps for the cool windy weather. CHRISTINE OR CHRISTINA our server was awesome! She was upbeat and helped us have a good time. Gave great recommendations and made sure we got that Tomahawk steak we wanted. 10/10 service.

I personally didn’t care for lobster bisque as I don’t prefer wine/sherry in it. I had surf & turf Steak was ok n tender but wasn’t the yum flavor to me. Grilled shrimp was good. Salad definitely different taste with their house dressing. I’m mostly a ranch dressing user. Most others in my party enjoyed their meal. Especially the tenderness of steak and the plank salmon which I also tasted and thought was good. I also tasted the mac& cheese, was deelish ! I could have made that my meal!

Google
The food was okay; it was not on par with Frenchys or Crabbys Dockside despite being more expensive. The cauliflower side was delicious, though! The service was quite bad; I don’t think our waitress was trained well at all. She was very sweet but just didn’t seem to know how anything worked. We only saw managers when they came out to deal with problems at other tables. We had to call a manager ourselves to deal with an incorrect bill… she kind of tried to bargain us down, which was strange, but she ended up fixing it. There are many other places to try on the island that I’d recommend before this one!

Google
Thank you Michelle for the attentive and diligent service. From the moment I sat down she made my first visit spectacular, and greeted me with the menus, walking me through front to back with such formal and personable service. I’ve never had a bartender let alone server treat me with such sophisticated care and professionalism. The experience was immersive, and I learned the specials and her honest recommendations. I would love to come back again.

Google
Absolutely loved our experience here! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was delicious, and our waitress, Emily, went above and beyond—she was incredibly friendly, quick to get our food/ drinks and made sure all allergies were carefully accommodated. Truly top-notch service and a place we’d definitely recommend!

Google
All good, just too cold outside during the evening. I would put some heaters. Food was nice, our server had a great personality. And, that place need to have more Wallpanels in interior ))

I've been here multiple times and can't remember a time when I've been disappointed by the food. The service from the waiters and waitresses has usually been good as well. I'm especially happy that they offer the Supper Club Menu. It can help with the cost for those concerned with the overall price. The atmosphere is wonderful. If you're fortunate enough to go at a time when the weather is pleasant, I certainly would recommend sitting outside. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. There is a parking lot on site but it does fill up quickly especially during the busier hours. They do offer valet, although I'm unsure of the price. My real qualm that prevents me from giving a higher rating is their absolute refusal to accommodate groups or reservations. My group of probably 40+ people has been coming to this restaurant for over a decade. When we first started coming, there did not seem to be any issue in doing their best to seat us together or in a section of the restaurant. Unfortunately, they have refused to help accommodate us the past couple of years. We try calling in advance (a few days at least if not earlier) to explain the situation or provide them with a heads up and still no improvement. It really has become quite disappointing. It seems like next year our group will have to find a restaurant that actually wants and values our business.

Yelp
W e visited Island Way Grill with friends and our toddler, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The sushi was quite good--fresh and flavorful, definitely a highlight of the meal. The lobster bisque soup was creamy and enjoyable, but I was a bit disappointed as my portion didn't seem to have any actual lobster pieces. The crab dip was a hit--rich, creamy, and delicious. Unfortunately, the edamame was a miss. It seemed overripe or perhaps over-steamed, making the pods so soft that they smashed easily, which made it tough to enjoy the beans. One hiccup with service: we ordered the scalloped potatoes, but they arrived late, after we were already done eating. While they were rich and cheesy, they were a bit too heavy for our liking, especially at that point in the meal. I'd probably skip those next time.

Yelp
When you walk into a restaurant for the first time, you'd like to be greeted warmly. That did not happen. Since I was alone, I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, I declined. The hostess then asked another person at the station to seat me. She said she wasn't working yet so I got the eye roll from them. I should have just walked out right then and there. I had perused their menu before I arrived and knew what I wanted to order. The house salad felt like the lettuce had been through the lawnmower. The meatloaf, while hot, had an unusual flavor that I kept searching for. Oh, it was pineapple. Not pleasant. The mashed potatoes were cold and the server who brought the food had an expression on his face of utter disdain. Would a smile have helped? At this point probably not. I hope your visit is superior to the one I had but after being recommended as a great early bird dinner, I think it's just about one step up from Denny's. Maybe it's the view that attracts diners!

Yelp
To start, the complimentary sourdough and herbed olive oil... *chefs kiss* I think the raw oysters and drinks were okay. Nothing too special. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and mashed potatoes were super yummy. The chilled seafood sampler was yummy as well. The service was prompt. We sat outside and had a nice view of the water and sunset!

Yelp
We kicked off the evening at our favorite spot once again....Island Way Grill a cozy island gem in Clearwater Beach. I sipped on a perfectly crafted classic cosmopolitan, compliments of the talented bartender. Seated in a cozy booth, we were surprised with a sweet Happy Anniversary card. We began with oysters Rockefeller, a perfect start to the meal. For my main, I opted for the volcano sushi to try something a bit different, and it did not disappoint--absolutely delicious!

Yelp
We came here for a family weekend AYCE brunch with my future in-laws, his siblings, and their children. Coming from land locked Texas I was really excited about the opportunity to eat all the seafood that we tend to usually miss out here! So to get the most optimum benefit out of this buffet most of us indulged on Oysters, Sushi, Crab Salad, Cocktail shrimp, and all the other proteins that they had available! I was so busy eating oysters that i forgot to take any actual photographic evidence that I was even here. Since it was the weekend before Christmas the restaurant was pretty packed, my future in-laws also ended up booking the reservation when the Grinch was taking pictures in the front lobby next to the hostess stand. Overall a good experience and waitstaff was prompt and friendly.

Yelp
New Year's Eve at island way grill was so delicious with excellent service and elegant ambiance

Ann M.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Our group of six were seated promptly. We tried their early dining menu and there were quite a few choices-something for everyone. They have cocktail specials too. The service was flawless-we had Suzanne as our server and she was awesome! The ambiance is rather nice. If you like sushi they have a very nice selection.

Lauren C.

Yelp
The service and food here is top notch! This is one of my family's favorite restaurants in Clearwater. The atmosphere is also very pretty and classy. The prices are a little on the high end, so expect to pay $35+ for seafood entrees. I definitely recommend coming here if you want to eat high quality food. Also, makes sure you dress nice, as it's a nice restaurant. The dress code is more business casual.

Michele J.

Yelp
Food was good the service as well nothing extraordinary. oysters rockerfella was too salty. The grouper dish with wasabi mashed potatoes was delicious.

Yelp
My son wanted to dine at a waterfront restaurant for his 14th birthday! No available time for reservations on line the day before but when I called the restaurant, they were able to accommodate. Reservations at 7pm but we're seated 20 after. Didn't mind the wait since we took pics in the surrounding marina. When you walk in you're met with a nice aroma of a seafood/ steakhouse place. Started off with the seafood tower & oysters - highly recommend. Grilled octopus which we thought was too small for the price but tasted good! My husband had the surf & turf - delicious. My boys had the filet mignon. The caramelized Brussel sprouts, truffle Mac & cheese were delicious. Finished off with crème brûlée and the dessert sampler. Great service! And will definitely go there again!

Yelp
Great food and value. Early Bird special is great. Service is very g.ood . Ffffgggggggygggggggg

Yelp
Love the views of the gulf while eating on the deck. Fans and heaters to keep it warm or cool depending on the time. The service is always great with drinks never running low. Our server always had a smile and makes great recommendations. The sushi is perfect as are all of the dishes we've had!

Yelp
Island Way Grill came highly recommended by someone who has enjoyed pleasant experiences with other groups and spoke highly of the food. Unfortunately, our visit was anything but pleasant, thanks to a series of issues that left us utterly disappointed. The service began poorly, with only two waters brought for our party of three. Drinks and appetizers were ordered well before the main courses, but everything arrived at the same time, a complete disruption to the dining flow. The food and drinks fell far short of expectations: * The $50 sushi boat, $22 sashimi and $9 lobster bisque were lukewarm, unacceptable for dishes that rely on freshness. * The seaweed salad never arrived and remained on the final bill despite our request for its cancellation. * The edamame was clearly steamed from frozen, lacking any semblance of quality. * The espresso martini tasted dirty, as if shaken in an unclean tin. * The spicy margarita sat neglected at the bar and was only served long after we reminded Gertrude--or was it Gilbert, Geraldine, or Garfield? Whatever name fits, it didn't seem to matter to them. Adding insult to injury, we were lied to about the propane heater being turned on. Our server never bothered to check on it, leaving us to shiver unnecessarily, until another employee--someone far more attentive--stepped in to address it. This happened as we waited for Gareth to finally complete the bill, dragging out an already frustrating experience. No apologies were offered for any of these mishaps, and the server's attitude could best be described as disinterested, inattentive, and unapologetic. It was abundantly clear that they were simply going through the motions without any care for their guests. More should be expected from a meal that cost nearly $200. (Not to mention, our 10% tip was a generosity - border line charity work.) While the food was mostly enjoyable, the egregious lack of service overshadowed it. We may return for the food alone, but under no circumstances will we ever accept being served by Garrett--or was it Gavin?

Yelp
Great time here with the family celebrating my birthday. The Sunday brunch buffet is the best around. Been here many times over the years for many birthdays, father days and mother days.

Yelp
I was excited to dine here again for lunch as I've had awesome experiences in the past for this restaurant. As soon as we walked in the door, we were hit with such a blast of cold air, we decided to eat outside. After being escorted to our table, we sat there for at least 15 minutes before I decided to go inside and ask for service. They were at least two waiters outside, and neither one of them said hello or will be right back. We were totally ignored. Once inside, I approached two workers, who very nervously asked how long we had been sitting there, and I said no less than 15 minutes possibly 20. They then got a manager and escorted us back to our table. I saw the manager talking to the two waiters who ignored us the entire time and then came back over and said I'm going to bring Deborah or Debbie out to wait on you and she will give you excellent service. That is exactly what happened Deborah or Debbie I'm sorry I can't remember what she was, was fantastic and turned a potential disaster into a positive dining experience. This is the only reason why I'm giving this place four stars, just the service blunder. Now onto the food. They have an early bird menu that is very affordable and includes bread, salad, your entrée and dessert. I had so many options to choose from. Had a very difficult time doing so, but finally settled on the blackened grouper sandwich. My friend had the chicken Alfredo and my other friend had a chicken sandwich minus the bun. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of their food, but by the time we got our lunch, we were starving as you can imagine. I definitely recommend this place and I've had nothing bad here. Again, thank you, Debbie Deborah for saving the day.

Yelp
The food was delicious and our server, Eric, had a great personality. He knew the menu

Yelp
Talk about a beautiful view and a lot of delicious food.... Most importantly, plan ahead and make a reservation because the locals flock to Island Way Grill when it opens at 10am for brunch on Sundays and the lines were out the door. Brunch comes with a mimosa or screwdriver and then you can purchase more. Our server was so attentive and friendly, we just loved her. There is an oyster bar, and two different meat carving stations, an omelet station, hot foods, cold foods, salads, fruits, and little dishes that you can ask to be brought out from the kitchen like avocado toast. It was all delicious. I especially loved the chicken tenders (not your usual ones but amazing). We sat right next to the water so bring your sunglasses but the view was so dang pretty. This is a fantastic brunch spot!

Yelp
So many choices for food and beautiful outdoor area. The restaurant is wonderfully open and spacious. The outside part of the restaurant has a great view of the harbor and it's right next to the aquarium. The dinner I got was amazing as it was a bit soupy with rice, shrimp, scallops, and sea bass. The dish wasn't as spicy as I had hoped since I like spice but it was very filling. There were so many menu choices especially including all the specials of the night. The hostess and waiter were so accommodating and helpful in the choice I made for my meal.

Carolyn H.

Yelp
Highly recommend for seafood lovers on vacation in Clearwater. All of the seafood was amazing. The vibes of the patio is amazing at sunset also. Hope to be back on next vacation!

Babette A.

Yelp
We hit this place up for early dinner. They offer a full menu, and also a happy hour $20 menu. We did the $20 menu, and were not disappointed. The menu had several favorites, and included great sour dough bread with oil and herbs, a choice of House salad or Caesar salad, your entree choice and a side, followed by a small desert. The house salad was quite delicious with a citrus vinaigrette dressing. I had the seafood bake with the coconut almond rice. It had nice shrimp and scallops in a creamy sauce. My dad had filet with shrimp, my aunt and mom had the cedar plank salmon with wasabi potatoes. The desert was a chocolate and raspberry treat. None of us had any complaints.

Yelp
After a long day at the beach, my friend and I decided to stop here and eat. There were so many places we could've gone, but my friend had never been here so I told her that they have a great deal before 5:30. I've always had a good experience their early dinner special, but it had been probably a year since I had been. My friend was very impressed with the look of the restaurant and was excited to try the Seabass I had told her about. We sat down and I didn't see the Seabass on the menu, so I inquired about it and they said that it was no longer part of the special but was available for $40 off the regular menu. I decided to order the fillet and she ordered the salmon, both off the specials. I inquired about their shrimp cocktail and was told that I would get three pieces of shrimp with my fillet and they are very large pieces so I decided against ordering the shrimp cocktail. We started off with bread and oil dip, which was good, but how can you mess that up?! We then had a salad which was more like a soup than a salad because it had so much dressing on it. Then our food came. I was shocked over how small the fillet was in comparison to previous times I've had it here. It was about 1.5 inches in diameter, and didn't have three pieces of shrimp with it, it had one piece of shrimp and it was like a petite shrimp that was overcooked and rubbery. I also had some very sticky mashed potatoes, which I didn't eat even half of. I asked my server about the shrimp and she asked me if I wanted more. I asked her if she was going to give them to me, meaning is she going to give them to me or charge me. She said she would give them to me, so I said I would take them. She explained earlier that she was a new manager there and working the floor because 11 other servers were attending an event and they needed servers. I ordered my steak light pink throughout, and it came back well. Absolutely no pink at all. Overcooked. They delivered a shrimp cocktail for me as my server and I discussed. They too were all overcooked and like rubber. Another manager came to the table and asked me how things were. I explained to her that the shrimp was way overcooked and she should actually take it back and try one of them because I only had one. She explained that she was going to take it off the bill and I told her that it wasn't supposed to be on the bill bc our server/manager said she was going to give them to me. We then got our dessert, which was only bread pudding, and it was incredibly dry. Neither one of us finished it. In the past with their special you got to choose between two desserts. Now you don't get a choice. I can honestly say after this experience that I will never be back based on the changes they've made to their special. My friend said the salmon was mediocre and the potatoes were horrible and the dessert was dry. I was actually embarrassed that I suggested this place that has always been a place where I brought out of towners and people who had never been. What a shame what cutting corners has done.

Mike T.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant on the waterfront. Friendly, professional staff, from hostess, bar staff, server and bussers. I have no complaints. Celebrating a friends birthday, the whole restaurant Sang happy Birthday! The food was fantastic, the drinks were flowing (we Uber'd), and surprisingly the cost was not outrageous. Our thanks for making the celebration great, and keep up the good work!!

Yelp
Island Way grill is listed as the second best restaurant after Ocean Hai but it's a distant second. We have visited for several years pre-pandemic and the Restaurant we knew had very friendly servers, grist food and always recognized special occasions with a special dessert. The pan fried red snapper cooked Thai style was good as it was made by their Jamaican chef. They had no shrimp for appetizers although listed in the menu. The side salad was so so and the crab cake decent. What surprised us was Deborah B our server and the best I can come up to describe her service (or lack of) was efficient but not friendly as she was to other tables right across from us. Mumbling as she took orders or picked up items, spent no time communicating. Interestingly the overall manager came by to chat with us and congratulates us as we left. A disappointment after so many years of enjoying this restaurant.

Yelp
I've been going here for over 23 yrs, a little up and down, but over all, one of my favorites. Some people always complain, but, this is excellente

Yelp
The filet was so tender and delicious I dream about it. The sushi rolls are flavorful and great presentation. Beautiful ambiance and good service. Looking forward to going back.

Yelp
AMAZING! Amazing service, food and atmosphere. I had the Mahi Mahi grilled and it was phenomenal!! So fresh, so delicious. Our waiter was so knowledgeable about wine and the menu. Chris was the assistant GM at the time, and he was the greatest, funniest person I've ever met. He came out multiple times to make sure we were Ok and I swear came out after that just to make us laugh. My boyfriend and I accidentally stayed until 9:30 (unknowingly they close at 9), but they were so polite and generous. 10/10 experience with the food and people!

Dave J.

Yelp
This was our first visit to the Island Way Grill restaurant. We had 4:30 reservations but arrived a bit early and our greeters were gracious enough to seat us. The restaurant was nicely decorated and was so neat and clean. This is a busy restaurant but the noise level was pleasingly low. Our waiter, Hunter, took the time to explain some of the menu special items and their market prices. His friendly and attentive service is appreciated! Sour dough bread was served steaming fresh with an olive oil and herb dish for dipping. Before the entrees came, we were served a simple but fresh house salad. We selected from their Supper Club menu. I had the Shrimp and Alfredo dish while the wife ordered the Seafood Imperial. My shrimp Alfredo must have had 20 small shrimp around a heaping portion of linguine atop a delicious Parmesan cream sauce. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her seafood imperial dish of shrimp and scallops baked in a cream sauce along with garlic mashed new potatoes. The meal was topped off with a yummy, cute little brownie. Perfect ending to an outstanding meal and experience! Shout out to our greeters Sadie and Sonya who were so friendly and courteous I just wanted to cry. Thanks! We will be back for sure.

Yelp
This restaurant came highly recommended as one of the best places to eat in Clearwater. Unfortunately, I can't say I felt the same. The service was poor and not what I would expect from one of the few upscale, higher priced restaurants in the area. Our waiter was friendly enough however the appetizer arrived long before the drinks and bread did. The Calamari was covered in so much sweet chili sauce that it was mushy and way too sweet. Quite sometime after that the bread and drinks finally arrived. The bread was very good served warm with olive oil. Then once again we waited and waited. I ordered the 6 oz Filet Mignon rare. It finally arrived well done. Needless to say they had to prepare another one for me. My husband's Sushi was fresh, tasty and plentiful. When my meal finally arrived cooked to my liking the Filet Mignon was very good. I also enjoyed the Wasabi Mashed Potatoes. The hostess came over and offer dessert on the house for the inconveniences which was very nice. I had a Tiramisu which was large enough for two but was very dry and easily the worst Tiramisu I had ever had. My husband had ice cream, can't go wrong there. Overall, while the dinner was good with the exception of the Calamari, the service and timing were poor. When you ask for rare and your steak comes out well done and has to be recooked, free dessert isn't going to make that right.

Yelp
Went for an early dinner and enjoyed the supper club menu. Great deal at about $20 for bread, salad, entree and dessert. Service was good and food was great

Dan M.

Yelp
This is a unique restaurant in the sense that it has several reputations: amazing, scenic, and overrated. Which one is correct? All of them. It comes dow to this: The scenery, atmosphere, and food presentations are all top of the line. This, in turn, makes you believe that all the food is top of the line. This was a large party. Based on all feedback, some dishes are incredible while others are just okay. For example, my filet tips were not memorable, but others wanted me to taste their dishes and most were excellent. Also, the drinks were great and the waiter was good. Some people would love this waiter and others wouldn't--he talked a lot and wanted to get to know everyone (to me, obviously just for the tip so didn't love that aspect of the meal). I definitely recommend Island Way but a lot is going to depend on what you order. The fried calamari and tomato salad were probably the two best items at this table.

Tango F.

Yelp
Everything was paced well and food was delicious. My fork was in hand and I was still enjoying my dinner. Our server boxed up my table mates leftovers then tried taking away the plate I was still eating from and offered dessert. It was 9:15 and the restaurant was still half full. Please work with your staff to prevent this (uncomfortable) mishap.

Trinity L.

Yelp
Great service, made my reservation early morning and was able to find a table at a great time. They even took note that we wanted outdoor seating. We had my niece with us and they were very helpful with her quirky demands. The ambiance is quite beautiful as the outdoor seating is breathtaking as it looks over the water. The food was delicious with perfect portions. We took home lots of leftovers.

Donita P.

Yelp
We went here for Thanksgiving dinner and everything was great. The organization the staff had on such a busy day was good. The food was was delicious.

Yelper G.

Yelp
Great pork chop! Great drinks. A little crowded for our 5:30 rez had to wait a few but no big deal. Waitress Sylvia was great so friendly and pleasant. She took our order with all the special requests. Very accommodating will be back again when we visit.

Steff L.

Yelp
Service was excellent. A lot of options for food too. Whether you want seafood, waffles or muffins! I would suggest sitting outside if the weather is nice :)

Danielle V.

Yelp
Such a beautiful restaurant and view! Made the trip to a island away with some girl friends for dinner. We sat outside which was perfect! Beautiful view, nice breeze, perfect! Our server Antonio was just ok not very attentive or helpful. The food was all delish! Recommend the chicken picatta! They let me sub the pasta for veggies it was great!

Mary Lou K.

Yelp
here's what was good about the island grille the shrimp and grits were good. The dessert bar was good. The sushi was good. Here's what was not good. The loudness of the room was unbearable. The shrimp was so overly large as to be chewy and tough and not edible, the mimosas needed more orange juice. Other than that it was a good deal for the buck. there was no salad that we could see all there was an antipasto salad. There should have been a assortment of different salads. The service was very good thank you Ashley .

Amber W.

Yelp
Ever had plans to go out to a nice meal and left feeling like it was "fake fancy"? That's this place. The food and service isn't bad but it certainly isn't worth the price and doesn't live up to the upscale reputation they seem to be going for. Overall mediocre, not worth a return visit or recommending to friends and family.

Baseball F.

Yelp
Our party of 4 had a fabulous dinner with Sylvia as our server. When we were making our selections for our dinner, she not only told us it was a great choice but also shared why. He provide info about how it's cooked and ingredients that are used to make it a great dish. The views were amazing. Strongly recommend making reservations. The place was packed when we got there, the outside was closed due to the rain which put a bit of a wrench in seating. We didn't wait any more than 20 minutes for our table to be ready. Valet parking is a nice addition to this fine dining restaurant. So if you do decide to go, ask for Sylvia!

Julia P.

Yelp
My mother and I came here for their thanksgiving brunch and they had a buffet with everyone's favorites. Upon arriving it was very jam packed but we waited at the bar and the time seemed to fly since we did arrive early. They asked us if we wanted to eat outside and we chose to because it was a beautiful day right next to the aquarium on the inlet. The food itself was phenomenal. The turkey was soo sauced and wet still that I couldn't stop but go back for more. They killed every side dish and it felt homemade with love. The green bean casserole which is my favorite was exactly how I like it. If traditional thanksgiving wasn't your cup of tea, they also had seafood and various meat cutting stations where you could get steak and ham. For seafood they had sushi , muscles, oysters and more that I couldn't see because it was so much to look at. For desert they had minis of everything, which I loved because it was the perfect portion. They had mini pumpkin pies and key lime pies and brownies. There was enough variety that there was something for everyone. This is likely our new thanksgiving traditional spot.

Haylee M.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Our server Jason was super kind and helpful! We loved this restaurant and will definitely be coming back

Elise B.

Yelp
I had some high hopes going into this place because the menu looks amazing. I started with a tuna roll as an appetizer and it was pretty good. I got the oysters Rockefeller which was amazing. However, they were so incredibly salty as well as loaded with bacon which I wasn't expecting and it took over the entire palate. I also ordered the grouper piccata over pasta. It wasn't piccata, I'm not quite sure exactly what it was but incredibly bland and almost tasted like Alfredo. The drinks were good and the server was very nice. She forgot my wine and side but I don't mind because she was busy. It was an absolutely beautiful night, if you get to sit on the patio I would recommend.

Ken U.

Yelp
Had a group of 18 last night for a big family party we do once a year and it was an awful experience -cocktails were wrong - sushi appetizers were served after people were done with the main course and completely inedible (also were not taken off the bill) - steak was completely rare and chewy - pasta and rice was left off of two dishes at the table - we were extended only free desert trays that were warm and not eaten by the table Overall it was an awful experience and we have been coming here every year for the last 10 years and will absolutely never be returning based on the poor food quality and overall lack of notice on potential issues prior to the meal.

Yelp
I had a lot of high hopes for this place after reading reviews. We went for Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday and the food was just "ok". It was standard buffet brunch. The biggest problem was that they couldn't keep up with demand. There were at least 30 people waiting for plates at any one time. The variety was nice and the oysters stole the show. I'd go back for dinner but I'd rather go somewhere else for my next brunch adventure.

Yelp
Planned a meal here about a month in advance, as we heard it could be tough to get a reasonable dinner time if not, and we were really looking forward to it based upon what we heard from others. Arrived via an Uber, and the restaurant and setting looked nice-seemed like parking may have been by valet only, but I could be wrong. We got there a few minutes early and we were told it would be a bit of a wait-turned out to be only a few minutes. We were led to our outdoor table, and the ambience was nice. Ordered a calamari appetizer, and a couple of drinks. Calamari came out less than five minutes after ordering, and the rings were huge, maybe 2-3" diameter. They had no crunch to them, were just warm, and had a crazy amount of cashews on them. I ordered surf and turf, mistakenly asked for medium well, which I thought could turn into a mistake, and it did. Filet was extremely well done, crazy over cooked. My wife had a stuffed fish dish, which was ok, but unfortunately arrived cold. Waitress left us sitting for quite some time before reappearing to ask if we wanted dessert-though we had time for more drinks we never had the opportunity to order. I got coffee and cheesecake for dessert-be aware, this is not a NY style cheesecake-it was a small round cheesecake with a lot of chocolate type crust, covered with whipped cream and more cashews. As we ate our dessert it started raining lightly. The waitress dropped our check and mentioned "just in time," but then didn't return for about ten minutes to get payment (it was raining). Seemed the waitstaff was concerned with only getting more important diners out of the rain. In the end, I'm glad we went to try it, but now we know it's simply overrated-a little disappointing.

Yelp
Right on the water where the boats dock. Such a cute spot located in Clearwater,I was excited to check this place out. Highly recommend making a reservation if you are planning to sit outside. Mind you we came on a Friday for dinner. Started with a white sangria followed by 2 appetizers, crab dip and rockefeller oysters. The crab dip was good but the chips they chose just was too stale for my liking. Now the Rockefeller oysters that had cheese bacon and spinach was right up my alley. The plank salmon with mash potatoes. The salmon was good but the mash potatoes missed some more flavor . Now the sushi was definitely the winner for my taste buds . 10/10 . Kamakazi roll that was baked salmon, kani-kama, cream cheese, scallion, masago, spicy mayo, and eel sauce dripping all over the bottom. Came warm and delicious. If I wasn't so full and felt like I was ready to explode my choice for dessert would have been the creme brûlée . Service was fantastic thank you Antonio . Overall this place has a beautiful ambiance and can catch a breathtaking sunset while enjoying a delicious meal .

Yelp
Nice brunch with great ambiance. Solid selection and love the price at $32 per person includes one mimosa or champagne. The crepes and the side dish of broccoli with butter and sautéed red peppers were 2 highlights along with the oysters and peel and eat shrimp. Our server Josh was very on the ball and friendly as was the rest of the staff. Nice If you're in the area. Call for reservations and remember to factor in weekend bridge traffic to Clearwater Beach:)
