It's - It Ice Cream

They have multiple flavors at the It’s It factory: pumpkin, strawberry, chocolate, cappuccino, mint, green tea, and vanilla. All of the flavors of ice creams are sandwiched between two oatmeal raisin cookies and covered in chocolate. Last time I tried green tea which was nice and refreshing, and this time I got pumpkin. I did hope the pumpkin or nutmeg flavor would be stronger, but it was still a solid ice cream. I did enjoy green tea more though.

Most delicious ice cream sandwich without an equal - equally as great is the staff. Traveling, I placed an order and picked up a case to surprise my kids and share the wonderful treat. Incredibly helpful and timely assistance from everyone I worked with at It's It. Unfortunately, United Airlines had me check the package and promptly lost it somewhere upon arrival in NJ...Sadness set in when after an more than an hour of looking, they couldn't find it. I had this fear as the United agents didnt seem incredibly confident in where the checked package should go and put it in the oversized luggae area even though it was a small box. Next time I will put a bluetooth tag in to track it as my checked luggage. I will dream of what could have been. Hope someone at the airport is at least enjoying them. Regardless thanks you It's It team, wish United Airlines was a 5 star like your crew! Update: It’s It crew even better than expected. Enough dry ice to protect the package while lost for almost 48hours. Rock solid frozen! So very happy! Thank you!

Love it!! Its It is one of my favorite ice creams, and this was the first time we got to come down and pick some up. Very simple and easy to walk in, pick a few ice cream flavors and head back out. And since the ice cream sandwiches were only $2 each, it was a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Super cool experience!! We love this ice cream and were so excited to stop by and have some factory fresh! It did not dissapoint! Tons of flavors and $2 each was a score! Wish the timing would have worked out so we could have taken a dry ice cooler home but definitely will next time! 2 girls on staff were super sweet as well! For sure a Don't Miss!

I use Groupon to get good discounts on It's-It. I love them, I sometimes will have one of them when I need a pick-up running around the city, but it's really a treat if I can have one of them at home (in the freezer)

By far the best ice cream in town!! So glad I was able to finally stop by since they are only opened until 4pm Mon-Fri. I've passed by more than a dozen times whenever I'm on the freeway. I noticed a lot of parked cars but surprising there wasn't a line. I assume it's because nothing needs to be made and everything is already packaged. The factory is similar to an ice cream shop where they have individual packaged It's-It and 3 non-It's It. I decided to get all 10 flavors since it was my first time here, and I knew I was going to be back again since I love their ice cream. Each one costs $2. So far I have only tried the cappuccino and it was delicious! I can't wait to come back again to order more of the flavors that I enjoy once I have tried everything!!

Never knew they had a retail shop at their plant until recently... it's in Burlingame by the airport near my work so they sell fresh all flavors it's it ice cream for $2 each I love it that they have coffee n strawberry my favorite flavors available n it's fresh If you near by stop by so good !!!!

It's-It Ice Cream is a classic; a scoop of ice cream sandwiched between two cookies and dipped in chocolate has never tasted so good! You can find It's-It Ice Cream at your local grocery stores, but the flavors are limited to the classic vanilla, chocolate, and mint. If you have the chance, I highly recommend going to the factory. Not only does the ice cream sandwiches taste better because it's made fresh, but they also have other flavors such as pumpkin, cappuccino and green tea!

The service was so quick with not that many people in the store. The workers were friendly and knowledgeable about the flavors offered. The ice cream melts fast once bought so I recommend eating them quickly. Overall, they tasted delicious but the cookies for the matcha flavor were a bit more hard and crunchy than the other two which were soft and chewy.

The perfect ice cream sandwich exists and it's only $2! You may have seen the It's-It ice cream brand in select grocery stores but if you're ever near the Burlingame area, this place has more flavors! It's-It ice cream sandwiches have ice cream between two delicious oatmeal cookies and the coated in a yummy chocolate shell - loved this so much! Flavors available at this store: * Vanilla * mint * chocolate * cappuccino * Strawberry * green tea * pumpkin * chocolate chip If you really want to take some home, they even have styrofoam coolers with dry ice available for purchase. I only wish that their open hours were longer, it's kind of a short window, like 11-4.

One of my must have spot when I'm in the area. Once I walked into this place it has strong air conditioning, and cooled me down from the burning sun outside. I was lucky enough to get the last parking spot across the street. There was one person was in line ahead of me. I was greeted pretty fast with quick and friendly service. Glad the worker helped me decided which one to pick, because I couldn't. I left with 2 boxes (24 it's it's). I recommended buying the dry ice. My 45 mins drive home turned out to be 1.5 hours in sf traffic.

Only open during the day, between 11 am - 4 pm, so take a quick walk from your hotel room and grab dessert. It is their main production facility and they have a little store so you can buy merchandise and ice cream sandwiches for a fair price of $2. They are prepackaged. No seating available inside so enjoy on your walk back to your hotel. I discovered them originally at my local grocery store in Southern CA.

Visible from US-101 and just south of SFO, the It's-It factory tempts a number of commuters and travelers on a daily basis. The shop is open weekdays and closes at 4PM, for those willing to get off of work a little early. Buying your It's Its from here will save you a lot of money, especially when buying in bulk. On Groupon, you can get a 12-pack for $12; without the Groupon, you're looking at about $2 per It's It. And sometimes the Groupon has discounts added on, so I was able to get a 12-pack for $10 during my last visit. Personal favorites are the Big Daddy ice-cream sandwich and the cappuccino flavored It's It, but if you're buying a 12-pack, you might as well try whatever interests you! Parking is readily available on the street in front of the shop.

Like being a kid in a candy shop! Best to get It's-It direct and better pricing when you purchase in bulk with the option to mix and match.

Yall don't know how happy I was when I learned that there was a groupon for Its Its ice cream because I am OBSESSED. I was going to my neighborhood corner market each week to get Its Its- so like 1 per week. every week.... But have no fear ice cream lovers, this factory is a safe space and they do not judge how many ice creams you decide to buy! I got the max limit of groupons (3) which ended up being 36 ice creams for $28!! And they have items and flavors here that they don't offer anywhere else! Flavors: Vanilla, Mint, Cappucino, Strawberry, Chocolate, Pumpkin

Came by after lunch wanted something sweet. We were greeted by friendly staff. Husband and I decided to get 1 strawberry and 1 cappuccino ($2 each). We ate it in the car, pretty good. I've never tried these flavors before. Inside looked tidy and clean.

It's It's are some of the best local ice cream sandwiches around. Totally worth it if you're in the area on a weekday - it's literally next to HWY 101, so freeway exit/entrance is nearby. We had an annoying errand to do in the city, so on the way back we decided to swing by the factory store to grab some ice cream and make our day a little better. There was a Groupon deal available at $12 for 1 dozen ($9 if you're a Groupon Select member), which is a great deal for these ice cream sandwiches! They let you pick anything in the fridge aside from the box of minis and the "dip" cartons, but there are plenty of flavors to choose from. There were some I don't typically see in the stores around me in South Bay, so it was fun to see things like the Big Sundae and the cappuccino flavor. I also liked being able to get a variety, since at Costco you're usually limited to 3 flavors when they have them. Parking available at the front entrance, and they accept tap pay!

honestly get it from here rather than the store. Each sandwhich is like $2! and it's such a steal. Nice cashier, chill vibes. It's literally like a little icecream shop. It's at a dead end so be cautious of that. Would def come back for a yummy quick and affordable treat.

Love this place and come to stock my freezer up with its it. Come prepared by purchasing a Groupon ahead of time for the best bang for your buck. The staff is always very friendly and I never feel any shame in redeeming my voucher.

Swung by the It's-It Factory store after eating lunch in hopes of finding the rarest of the rare, Green Tea flavor but unfortunately its still out of stock. I asked the lady at the register and she had said it's been out of stock for a while because of a supplier issue, so I settled for Strawberry since Pumpkin wasn't available (for the day) either. I love coming by here cause it's just a quick walk in for some ice cream or merch and you're out the door within 5 minutes. The shop is organized, clean, and well maintained and the staff are super friendly and helpful! The only downside is the factory store is only open during the weekdays during normal business hours so if you plan on swinging by, be sure to check beforehand to make sure their open!

The best ice cream ever! I love going to the It's-It store, they have every flavor. Cappuccino is my number one favorite, with chocolate a very close second. Pumpkin is delicious, strawberry is smooth. Vanilla and mint are classic. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. And you can not beat the prices!

A Bay Area Institution! Normally I eat it's-it when others bring them to parties but I was happy to finally get a chance to stop by their store. It's only open on the weekdays. Parking is limited but everyone just gets their items and leaves so you don't have to wait too long. Definitely want to go back to try the green tea flavor which was sold out.

I LOVE this place! Not only do they generously support local nonprofits, they are super nice and easy to work with - AND they make a delicious product that everyone loves! I have twice placed bulk orders (don't judge!) and both times have been helped by lovely people, the lovely office lady and the ice cream man who magically appears and puts the boxes of frozen deliciousness right into the back of my car - no wonder they have been around for so long! The retail store is a fun stop to visit as a local or when you have out of town visitors. Stop in for some ice cream and pick up some of their adorable merch before heading to SFO!

It has that hint of a "Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory" vibe, but at much less of a grand scale and a much smaller basis. Granted, I did not go inside the factory, but being able to go *to* the factory where the childhood classic ice cream sandwich for the bay area kiddies are made, that's still something special, even if it's on a smaller scale with no tours (I didn't ask for a tour so I'm not sure if they do or do not give them). While there was no *magic*, there were plenty of parking in the stalls and on the street to make it an easy entrance inside the little store front that you see easily driving north or south bound on the 101. With freshly stocked It's It ice cream sandwiches, classic, mint, cappucino, strawberry, and other flavors, there is just something about ice cream stores that brings a twinkle and excitement to the eyes of every child, and adult.

What can I add that hasn't already been said? It's a store in the side of a factory, selling ice cream sandwiches. Maybe it should be noted that the classic "It's-It" flavors all use oatmeal cookies, not chocolate chip cookies. Not necessarily the best pairing in every situation. Who ever said, "You know what would make mint ice cream taste great? Pairing it with an oatmeal cookie. Not a cookie that prominently features chocolate chips. No, that makes too much sense. I want oatmeal!" But somehow it works. You'll want to eat these very cold, since the cookies are think and it makes a mess if the ice cream is melted at all. Right now, the seasonal flavor is pumpkin and it is fantastic. Still no green tea. They also have the nontraditional sandwiches that are harder to find elsewhere, like the Chips-It (vanilla ice cream with chocolate chip cookies and no chocolate shell) and the Big Daddy (square block of vanilla ice cream with traditional chocolate wafers instead of cookies). The biggest surprise for me, besides the super friendly people working there and how many people had shown up to buy dozens for Labor Day parties, was how fresh the sandwiches were. The cookies taste so much better direct from the factory compared to sitting in a cooler at a grocery store. I brought home a variety pack of a dozen and now my freezer is ready whenever I have a craving!

Omg! It's cheaper and 1000 times fresher at the factory plus they have all the variations. If it's fall season they have pumpkin and not green tea. It is an it's it! Cmon now.

Late post from last week when I used my Groupons for 2 dozen of our families favorite assorted. Like others had stated Groupon is the way to go as we scored a Christmas deal at $8 for a dozen. Service has never been an issue and one is in and out in minutes. I only wish they opened at 10 am instead of 11 but it's not a deal breaker since one always gets a great deal.

CLOSED ON WEEKENDS?!?!?? Darn! Did I make a special trip? Why no I did not, but I was bummed nevertheless. Picking up world travelers from SFO about a couple of minutes away from the Its it Factory. My heart sank when it was closed. Now that I have the hours to try some of their "exotic" flavors I will be back

As I've driven by here so many times in the past and thought one day... Well today was that day! I never knew It's-It originated in SF. I enjoyed many a tasty Ice Cream sandwich over the years. Unfortunately the cookie has gotten smaller over time, but the flavors expanded. These are available all throughout National Grocery stores...as far as I know. If you never tried an It's-It, do yourself be a favor and go get one... Not sure if this is pandemic related... But the friendly staff mentioned that I don't actually need to buy the Groupon, I can simply mention the deal and they will honor the price! Brilliant!!

It's It Ice Cream was founded in San Francisco at Playland at the Beach, an amusement park similar to Coney Island or the boardwalk in Atlantic City. I can recall watching the making of the ice cream sandwiches through the window when I was growing up. Having said that I haven't had an It's It in many years. A local TV station did a feature recently which peaked my hubby's interest. Knowing that Groupon has occasional offers I took a look. Sure enough $8.50 for a dozen. Today we took a ride down to the factory store to redeem our voucher. You can choose from the following choices; vanilla, cappuccino , strawberry, green tea, chocolate, mint, and pumpkin. We brought a cooler with us. Otherwise they can pack it in dry ice for you. Only one party allowed at a time in the store due to COVID precautions. It was so convenient that I bought another Groupon for down the road.

I bulk ordered a bunch for a work event. The ice cream was packed very well for transport. I sprung a bit extra for dry ice and everything was still ice cold and rock solid by the time our event took place, several hours later. Needless to say, it was a very well received event. Small place , thought there might have been more to it but great deals and a lot of flavors you don't see. No where to really eat other than your car or standing out front but it's a pretty busy street.

oh fun! this place is awesome because they have soooo many more flavors here than in stores - makes sense - we've had so many flavors youll never find elsewhere like cappuccino and pumpkin and you can get great discounts with a Groupon - my favorite is mint, younger sons is vanilla as is my husband - we can find those most places - but strawberry - I love it and it is weirdly hard for me to find - or perhaps places just sell out of them - but then I get chocolate and all is well. But come here and I can ALWAYS get strawberry. You'd think we'd drive somewhere scenic to eat them but we sit wherever we parked and we have a quiet 10-15 minutes where everyone is just enjoying their it's-it the way you are supposed to enjoy them -eyes closed, just appreciating the flavor in silence - or is that just me...

Cute little experience. We drove up to San Francisco and decided to stop there after seeing it on tik tok and it was so worth it. They had a mint chocolate chip one and it was delicious. It wasn't packed either surprisingly so we were helped fast.

Bought two dozen of various flavors/assortment of ice cream. Of course, all delicious. My favorite is the Cappuccino. Service was quick and friendly. However, when I got home, I only had 22 items. I was missing two of the super sundae's :-(

Love it's it's ice cream. Always looking for the groupon deal! You get much more bang for your buck when you buy them directly from the factory versus the supermarket or even Costco! And the variety of flavors gives you more choices. My favorite is mint chip. Yum! But why not have a pumpkin or macha if it's available? Not an it's it's fan? They have some other choices too. Go check them out! Make sure you go home quickly, bring an ice box with ice to keep them cold or buy their container! Enjoy!

Wanted to come here for awhile but only open during weekdays so needed to take a dayoff for 3 day weekend and dropped by here on the way home. reminisce with these lovely snacks as they had a lot more flavors and grabbed a two dozen. Loved the carpaccio, chocolate, mint chocolate and even the vanilla ones. The cookie tasted really fresh and great crunch. well stocked for awhile but will be back when out. Don't forget the groupon if available for 1/2 off!!!

My guy and I are huge fan of It's It Ice Cream. We were lucky to be in the Millbrae area and we dropped by. We were hoping there was a factory tour but due to Covid, there was none. So we both got the Cappuccino flavor since we both haven't tried it. Delicious! I wish I could have eaten more flavors (wishful thinking). But, so worth it to go. The service was also so nice. Such a friendly employee. I wish I took down his name to give him credit. It's was during the week on a Wednesday. Street parking outside available and they also have a couple of slots for guests. It's It Ice Cream is always a 5-star in my books.

I purchased a Groupon that cost $8 for a dozen It's-It Ice Cream Sandwiches and I must say I am not disappointed! Getting here is super easy. The store is located in Burlingame just a few minutes drive off of 101. The store itself has a tiny parking lot right out front, but there is ample parking on the street in front of it. I came here on a Friday afternoon close to 3 pm and surprisingly there was a line out the door, but it only took about 10 minutes for me to get in and to swoop my ice cream! The store does offer dried ice for sale if you're traveling far. With the groupon I could choose 12 of any of the ice cream sandwiches on their main menu, so I got a combination of their green tea, mint, strawberry, chocolate, and on chips it. It's been nearly a week and I have eaten more than half of them! I love supporting local businesses, especially when their product is so tasty, so I will definitely be back in the future!

I grew up in SF eating these delicious ice cream sandwiches; they have new flavors now i.e., green tea, pumpkin, etc. The factory is where you can purchase cases with a variety of ice cream sandwiches including: Big Daddy, Super Sundae, Super Cone & Chips It ice cream. The oatmeal chocolate-covered cookies are delicious, too. They will box them up for you with dry ice (additional charge) to keep it frozen while transporting the ice cream.
