Jack's BBQ & Steakhouse

I absolutely LOVE this place. We used to go to the Georgetown location all the time, so when they opened in Redmond/Bellevue, it felt like such a win. I still visit the original now and then, but this location has become part of my regular routine. My usual lineup never changes because it’s just that good: the spicy Caesar salad, rib tips, brisket, and the jalapeño cheddar sausage link. Everything is consistently delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly — genuinely warm, not just polite. Walking in feels a bit like visiting friends. And as someone who lived in Texas, I can say this is the best Texas‑style BBQ around. They really get it right. If you love great BBQ and a welcoming atmosphere, this spot is an easy favorite.

I came here recently and it was decent. I had the Dallas-style Chopped Brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. The brisket was quite a bit fattier than I was expecting; I know a good brisket has some fat in with the meat for moisture, but overall the meat in the sandwich lacked the beef density I prefer. Not bad at all, just not excellent. Maybe the Austin-style sliced brisket would be more what I was expecting? The potato salad on the other hand was great! Service was excellent, and prices weren't awful ($19.75) for 2026's "everything is expensive now" theme. If I'm in the area again I'll try something else.

The 12 oz Ribeye was very good. More steak than your average steak houses! This was huge and awesome! The chili was great. Nice kick but could use more onions and cheese! The corn bread was great. Not too sweet and not too dry! Yum! The garlicky mash was a delight and had a good taste. Mac & cheese is creamy yet delicious! I tasted the brisket, mmmm! Moist, had a nice smoked ring and tasted delightful! But back to my ribeye! Med rare, had great sear and was excellent with the Jalapeño sauce on the table! Food is so delicious especially the brisket. The brisket is so tender and juicy, just wished the portion can be a bit more generous instead two thin slices comparing to the steak portion. The additional $3 brisket for the queso and chips is just a small pinch too.

Updated Review: We decided to give Jack’s another try after they kindly reached out, and I’m so glad we did! This time, everything was much better, the brisket was tasty, the sides were great, and I absolutely loved the banana pudding. More than the food itself, I really appreciate feeling heard. It’s clear that this place truly cares about its community and about improving. I’m happy I got the chance to change my opinion. Thank you, Jack’s BBQ! ————- I’m really disappointed with the brisket we ordered. It was dry, overcooked (my husband said it tasted like it had been cooked too fast), and the slices were very thick and uneven. Usually brisket is cut more evenly and thinner, which makes a big difference. What makes me especially sad is that I’ve always gone to the Sodo location and the food has been absolutely amazing every time, no complaints at all. That’s why I had high expectations this time. Unfortunately, this was meant to be my husband’s birthday dinner, and it just didn’t live up to the experience we were hoping for.

We’ve been to other Jack’s locations, but this was our first time in Redmond. The food was the same high quality delicious barbecue. I ordered their steak tacos which were the PERFECT blend of heat and flavor. They were balanced and filling. The steak was diced and lean with cilantro and a fresh salsa. I also had their smoked old fashioned which I found to be consistent in quality (good) with their other locations! To wrap up the meal I had their banana pudding with Necco wafers. Dessert not only was vibrant, but it was nice to find fresh bananas throughout the pudding. Parking was so easy and their staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Im very much looking forward to going back.

Nice place for BBQ. The sausage and chicken were delicious. They brine their chicken so it was flavorful and moist. The sausage was very tasty. The pork ribs were smoked well but a little on the dry side. The brisket, which should be the star of the show was a let down. While smoky it was overcooked and dry, which made it hard in texture, almost brittle at some ends. Some pieces were rock hard dry, yikes. The bark on the meat was not great either. Not a lot of flavor which required us to use bbq sauce. The Caesar salad was good but the fried pickles appetizer was meh. The server was great and the prices are reasonable for the portions you get.

This is one of our go to spots when we come and visit! The food is top notch quality! I tend to go for the brisket, and it NEVER disappoints!

Casual place to gather with friends and family, great service, great food. Second time visiting and food was just as good as the first time and so was the service. Under Appetizers: The Fried Picke Jar - deep fried okra, homemade pickles, and jalapeños. So good! The homemade pickles have a nice slight kick (it wasn't the jalapeños). Buttermilk Hushpuppies - great to share among a group of 4 or more. It's delicious, but filling (hence great for sharing). Under BBQ Plates: I've had the Double Trouble on both visits. Choice of any 2 meats and 2 sides. First visit, I asked if I can have the catfish as one of my meat and the manager was kind enough to allow this. Pulled pork as my 2nd meat. The catfish was nicely cooked -- deep fried with southern cornmeal, and the pulled pork was delicious! Like noted on their menu, no bbq sauce needed because the meat is amazingly delicious! Although they do offer original style bbq sauce and smoked jalapeño bbq sauce. I liked the orignal one better but they're both good. For the sides -- collard greens and Texas caviar (Black-eyed pea salad). I haven't had Texas caviar before and I really liked it! It had a refreshing taste. My 2nd visit, I had the catfish (it was that good that I had to have it again) and brisket. The brisket was good, although the pulled pork was tastier. For sides, I had the Texas caviar and their seasonal which was gumbo. The gumbo didn't taste like it had seafood in it, but their version was good with the sausages. Other sides I've tried: - Coleslaw - it wasn't bad, but nothing to rave about. - Potato salad - tasty! Had the right amount of mayo, and seasoned well. - Sweet Corn Pudding - OMG! This was delicious! Just the right amount of creaminess, very flavorful! Homemade Desserts -- both desserts were really good! Peach cobbler & ice cream for two - Wow! Pecan Pie Champion - had this a la mode - Yummy! Cocktails: Smoked Old Fashioned - good old fashioned, not as smoky as expected but good nonetheless. Bruised Cherry Manhattan - didn't try this but my friend said it was good. Our first visit, our tab was automatically rounded up for their "Round Up & Give". It was minimal, but it would've been nice if this wasn't done automatically or at least ask first if we want to round up. Our 2nd visit didn't have this so maybe it was some charity event their doing specifically during our first visit that we were not aware of. Overall, their BBQ style meat is delicious! Best one I've had in the area.

So far, it's been the best BBQ in the area. Texas style BBQ with plenty of options and locations. We went to this BelRed location, but the one downer is they were out of peach cobbler (guess we'll have to come back!) We ordered The Picnic between two of us, and here's the consensus of items; Brisket: Amazing. My husband's favorite part. He's a big brisket guy to begin with and he said they definitely got it right. Ribs: My favorites! I don't normally like them black, but now I know why people do! It was so good, make sure to use the sauce Sausage: Mildly spicy and cheesy. A great change in flavor from the rest of the meats Chicken: Okay, we didn't need that much chicken really, but it was still really good. Didn't reheat well Pulled Pork: What we got was good, a lot of fatty bits which my husband doesn't like, but i thought it went down well. Mac & Cheese: It really is queso-forward. It's great at first, but we personally got a little tired of it. Wonderfully made, just a personal preference. Coleslaw: I wasn't a fan, but my husband said it was his favorite coleslaw Mashed Potatoes: Not mashed enough, but a good basic side Corn bread: delicious, perfect, we love all corn bread here

Stopped in for lunch after arriving too late for dinner the previous evening (despite the large "Open" sign being illuminated). As we walked from our hotel, parking wasn't an item we were concerned with, but the private lot seemed adequately large with appropriately-sized parking spaces. The establishment is bright and clean, with a rustic "old roadhouse" sort of vibe and décor. The smells of smoked meats are abundant. Portion size is huge, especially considering the comparatively low prices. I was particularly impressed with the unique items on the menu, such as beef bacon, which we had to try. It was good, and definitely worth trying. It had a "candied" preparation, which was lovely. While the food was overall quite good, it wasn't the "not of this planet" BBQ that I've had in Texas. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and service was extremely prompt.

My party loved them! Their corn bread is amazing with honey on top. Brisket is really good. It tastes different being pulled apart. I also tried their squared ribs and those are the best! We also ordered fish and chips. It was a good size plate for little ones. They offer milk too fortunately :) They have their own parking which is a good thing. It is big so no problem on that side. They have tables outside for summer. Service was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. My only comment would be having a no spicy Mac n cheese. I mean, they have everything set for kids (crayons, highchairs), why not regular pasta that they would like?! Anyway, we will come back!

Ordered 3 sandwiches to go. 3 dumpsters with 1 side with each sandwich. Mustard potato salad, collard greens and beans. They run a "special" dumpster sandwich with one side for 50% off when the Mariners win a game They also have beef ribs on Thursdays. My other half loves beef ribs. Will need to stop by on a Thursday for goodies. Service was very good and courteous. Waited about 20 minutes for our Togo orders

I been to Jack's BBQ before but this was the first time at this location. They do have plenty of parking so you don't have to worry about. The place is loud from the music as well as the crowd. I came because of the promotion they were having where if the mariners win the day before, they have a 50% deal on a burger: the dumper. It was a massive sandwich filled with variety of meats and a side. I chose the beans. For $12 it was such a great deal. Not only that, the meat was delicious. It went well with everything, it was tender and flavorful. We were able to call ahead and order it for takeout so that was nice. Overall, I will come back for sure

We had a great late lunch at Jacks. I highly recommend the brisket. It was so juicy and tender. Staff is all very friendly. They have a full bar and were able to make us a drink that wasn't on the menu, and a bit complicated. Thanks for the hospitality!

Really great Texas style bbq!! Portions are large with rotating seasonal sides that are delicious. Their brunch menu is also fantastic. Staff is very friendly and service is fast!

There aren't too many places in the Greater Seattle Area for Texas style BBQ, and I'm glad that Jack's BBQ is available on the Eastside. There was currently an interesting promotion during the month of April that extended into May called Meat Madness, where you could get a 12oz Ribeye for $29 or a 16oz for $34, so we decided to swing by and check it out! We went on a Friday around 6PM and were seated with no wait time. Parking at Jack's is difficult - there are only 4 or 5 spaces at the front of the restaurant and 8-12 spaces behind the restaurant. If there aren't any spots, you will have to find street side parking that is hopefully nearby and then walk to the restaurant. The ambiance is that of your typical Texas BBQ restaurant, with American inspired decoration with hanging wire lights and dark wooden aesthetic. Dining is casual sit down, you can also take your order to go. We got our orders after ordering through a waiter and waiting about 10-15ish minutes for our food. I got the 16oz Ribeye for $34, which came with two sides that you can select from the menu. I picked Ranch Beans and Texas Caviar as my two sides. For the steak, I ordered medium, which was done perfectly - good crust on the outside and a juicy and flavorful interior! They used a different type of spice mix rather than just straight salt and pepper, as the steak itself had a smokey and stick to your ribs decadence that is impossible to replicate at home unless you got a smoker. The Texas Caviar served as a nice kind of salad and had a small bite of acidity to it, and the Ranch Beans hearty way to get back into eating the steak. This was a very indulgent meal and will stuff most people afterwards! I also got some options to go, which included some brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. Everything including the steak added up to $83, which I thought was a decent deal for all of the food that I got. The takeout definitely made up a couple of meals afterwards. I definitely think that Jack's BBQ is one of the better Texas BBQ restaurants that I have tried in Seattle so far! Price for the quality and quantity edges out similar restaurants by a bit and location isn't as difficult as if you were to go into Seattle to find BBQ. I would revisit Jack's BBQ if I'm ever feeling some hearty and luxurious Texas BBQ! (4.5 stars)

We actually did take out so I can't comment on the service. What I can talk about is the food. We ordered the Picnic. It was $94. I wanted leftovers. I did have enough for a couple of sandwiches and other meals. According to their menu it had lots of everything. This is a true statement. It contained brisket, ribs, sausage, pulled pork, and chicken. You also receive four sides for that price. We chose cornbread, potato salad, the Texas Chili and the queso mac and cheese. I also ordered Texas caviar. Let's talk about the brisket. This was probably my favorite of everything. It was delicious with just the right amount of fat. The smoke ring was visible, the crust was flavorful and not too salty which can happen sometimes. The ribs were our next favorite. They were not super fall-off-the-bone tender but they were good. I think they were a little overcooked but the flavor was there. The pulled pork was average. This was not my favorite pulled pork by any means. it tasted fine but it was sort of blah. When you find someone who can actually smoke and barbecue chicken, please let me know. Jack's chicken is like everybody else's, super over dry. I chopped it up the next day and used it in a pasta chicken salad. The smoke flavor came through and I did like that but it was too dry. The sides were a massacre. Most places focus on the meat and miss the sides. Jack's is no exception. The cornbread was dry and crumbly with little flavor. The Texas Chili was okay but just okay. The queso mac and cheese tasted exactly like macaroni with a store-bought queso. The potato salad was pretty good but a little on the dryer side. Overall, we'd eat there again. There was a lot of food for the cost and the brisket is a good, solid brisket.

Austin landed in Bellevue! Great spot for legit BBQ on the Eastside. We'll definitely be back for more. We ordered the two-meat plate with chopped Dallas-style brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was the star -- juicy, flavorful, and the clear favorite at our table. Sides were mustard potato salad and beans. The potato salad had a great flavor, and the beans were a surprise hit -- not the usual sugary BBQ beans, but more savory and seriously delicious. Will be back!

I love this BBQ place. So yummy! The food was well prepared, seasoned nicely, and the staff were friendly. The inside of the restaurant was clean as well.

Very solid BBQ for the area. Their portions could be bigger, but their food is tasty (albeit sometimes salty, especially the whole chicken). They have a good selection and a good service. Their Mac and Cheese is probably the best Mac and cheese I've had in Seattle so far. It's very tasty and rich. It pairs well with a lot of things.

This is one of my significant other's favorites, and for the first time, I ordered it to be delivered. It did take about an hour to get to me, so I put my ribs and fries in the air frier to warm them up. The ribs were really big and had such a great taste to them. I added some of my spicy bbq sauce from Austin that I love which made this meal even better! I'd love to visit this restaurant soon, and enjoy these ribs nice and fresh!

As a native Texas, I'm always hunting for Central Texas-style BBQ around here. I've had restaurants serve "Texas BBQ" smoked with northwest wood, or in an electric smoker, or served "Texas Style" in manner that I have never seen before in my entire life. Not this. This is the real deal like you would get back home. Low and slow brisket with a great bark, hot-links, and correct sides. This salt and pepper on the brisket seems a bit less aggressive than BBQ2U in Gig Harbor - up to you if that is good or bad. I like it both ways. Sausage is very good here too, as are the collards. I swing by on my way to work for the delicious breakfast tacos (have not tried the bacon ones because the brisket ones and sausage ones are too good.) I'm looking forward to trying the Chicken Fried Steak (sadly only on the brunch menu) chili (they never bring any to my particular work cafeteria's "local restaurant outlet" when they are there) and the beef ribs (apparently only one day a week?). Opportunities: Breakfast tacos with the hot link sausage would be nice as an option instead of only the jalapeno cheddar. Sausage gravy for the CFS/biscuits at brunch?

Hot damn! I finally found a BBQ place I dig. Best brisket I've had in a while. Well seasoned. Beautiful house BBQ sauce. Smooth and slightly sweet corn pudding. Soft and moist collared greens. Mmmmm. Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout. That spiked iced tea. You can't tell much of a difference. Vodka didn't overkill it. Thank God. Servers were direct and to the point. No misfires! I love the decor here. It adds to the authentic Texas BBQ vibes they're aiming for. Right, go visit them!

Came here to meet some friends for dinner. Some had been here before and really liked it, and some just really like BBQ. I'm not a huge BBQ fan, so I got the Grande Nachos with brisket, which was really good. My bf is a BBQ fan, so he got the Double Trouble BBQ Plate with Brisket and Pork Ribs, and with the Buttermilk Cornbread and Garlicky Mashed Potatoes for the sides. I also got the side of Garlic Chili Green Beans. Everything was tasty. My bf enjoyed his meal, and so did the rest of the table. Our server was excellent.

I have never been to the restaurant itself but I was lucky enough to get a taste of their food at bumbershoot. I had their brisket over Mac and cheese. Now I know what I have been missing out and I plan to visit the restaurant.

Service was very friendly, but a tad slow. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to get our drinks. The real issue is calling yourself Texas BBQ and putting a sugary substance on sweet pickles and calling them fried pickles, the okra was cut length wise so the breading falls off or it's too thin and dissolves the okra and putting sliced tomatoes for unknown reasons. The brisket was decent flavor but that's where it ended. The ribs had a weird plastic flavor to the point I took one bite and put it down, the cornbread was cold, the Mac and cheese was okay but didn't state there would be onions and jalapeños in it. Overall as a Texan this was a huge disappointment.

I came here for a quick bite before attending a nearby Yelp Elite event. Apparently this place used to be a Mexican food restaurant and later an Indian Food Restaurant. Now it's a new Jack's BBQ location! I've been to the Jack's locations in Sodo and Algona and loved the food at both. This location is super convenient for me but the ambiance is more Bellevue and less Texas which Sodo and Algona have. But I'm here for the food! I sat at the bar and had a Chopped Brisket Sandwich which came with a choice of sides. I selected the Texas Chili (no beans!) as my side. I had a couple of Oktoberfest Beers to accompany my meal. My server was the bartender and do-everything staffer and was super nice and friendly. I love the food at Jack's and will definitely return one day, especially now that the location is a lot closer to home for me.

First time at this location, I've been at the original one in Georgetown and multiple times at the one in the Microsoft food hall in bldg 4. I really love Jack's! When you step in into this location you get teleported to Texas (or at least, to a place that in my fantasy looks like Texas). Country music, very rustic ambiance, country imagery, game trophies on the walls, etc. We got the double trouble and the Texas Trinity with a mix of sliced brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs and sausages. Everything was delicious. The brisket was moist and fatty, no dry parts! Pulled pork fantastic, the ribs were melt in your mouth tender, the sausage was ok, too many spices inside for my taste. We also got 4 different sides which were ok. Service was courteous and fast. Highly recommended!

Really good Texas style barbeque in the Seattle metro area. My wife and I planned an impromptu, short weekend visit to our daughter and her fiancé, who live in Bellevue, WA. She knows how much my wife loves Texas style smoked brisket, so suggested getting carry-out for the four of us on a Saturday night. The Picnic meal ($86) came with brisket (2-3 slices), 3 full pork ribs (basically spare ribs), 2 sausages (1 jalapeno cheddar and the other hot link), 1/3 of a chicken, and a bit of pulled pork. If you accept the price they charge for each item separately, then getting them via a 'picnic meal' is a good deal. You get your choice of 4 sides, and with our choicers b being remoulade coleslaw, cornbread, ranch beans, and mashed potatoes. When you put the food together, it sure didn't feel like a 100 dollars worth of food. But good BBQ (when you can find it) is expensive on the West Coast, and this is no exception. I thought the brisket was excellent: we got slices from the flat end of the brisket, and the meat did indeed break apart in your fingers and melt in your mouth. It's the type of dish where because there is only a limited amount (definitely not enough for even 1 hungry person), how much you take and eat is determined by the closeness of your fellow diners: with strangers or casual co-workers you are taking as much as you can (shaming be damned). But with your closest family, you get just enough for a taste (so I could write about it) and save it for your loved ones. And sure enough, the brisket was the first thing gone. As for the rest of the meal, different people in the group had different opinions. I liked the spare ribs quite a bit. It had been heavily dry rubbed, and smoked beautifully with a very visible smoke ring. And the firmness of the meat was perfectly done. One of the sausage links, I really liked and the other one not so much....wish I could definitively say which was the hot link and the other cheddar. The chicken was well prepared, with the skin crisped expertly. The pulled pork was just OK. The portion sizes for the sides were between a single serving and what restaurants might call a large (e.g. the mashed potatoes being enough for 2 people)...which makes sense, since this picnic meal is meant for 2 really hungry people or 4 normal. As for the taste, I wasn't a fan. The cole slaw tasted off, the mashed potatoes should really be called whipped potatoes...almost runny, and the ranch beans weren't as good as I would expect. And strangely, there was no warm, bbq sauce provided as part of this. The chicken and pulled pork could definitely have used it. The meal did come with the requisite raw white onion, a few house made pickle slices, and two pieces of white bread. Thinking if you like that part of a barbeque meal, you should dine-in where they will give you more (I assume). So if you are willing to pay the price for genuine texas-style bbq, and don't care as much about the sides, this location of Jack's BBQ should be on the list of dine-in stops, when in Bellevue.

Came here for a work-related meetup and having already eaten I only settle for some light bites and drinks. There doesn't seem to be too many dedicated BBQ places in the area, and they seem to pride themselves being a central Texas authentic place BBQ'ing over post oak, mesquite and hickory. I got apps for the table including - hushpuppies, chips and queso and The Fried pickle jar. Buttermilk Hushpuppies were hot and filling. The honey butter it came with was great and was a favorite dipping choice over the queso sauce which actually wasn't all that great. Tried some of my friends al la carte brisket which was tender and had a smoked flavor. I'd have to come back here for a full meal, but the service was good, and they accommodated us well. Other than that, decent BBQ spot.

6.28.2024 Step into the smoky embrace of Jack's BBQ Grill, where the chef's slow-cooked meats with laughter and good times! This ain't your fancy-pants, white-tablecloth joint--here, it's all about finger-lickin' goodness and a side of down-home vibes :) Service was very friendly and quick.

Worst $58 i've ever spent me and my family wanted Texas style bbq instead we got what taste like Indian food paprika on fries bad choice brisket is sooo dry and is not what the pictures looked like i thought they would have baked spicy beans instead i got bean soup with tomatoes and onions. the ribs were decent but still no seasoning at all. we asked for bbq sauce and we got some spicy paste, i don't know whether to add water to it or to eat it with a spoon. banana pudding was best thing. i didn't except any of this food to be the best ever but to get the worst ever is insane DONT GO TO JACKS BBQ GO TO JACK IN THE BOX at least you'll get your moneys worth

This place was dynamite. I live in LA and we don't have a lot of good BBQ and I love to eat BBQ when I'm in Texas every year. We got ribs which were smoky and tasty. Brisket that was perfection. Smoky fatty and a big portion of I always like to get collard greens and these were great. Smoky, bitter and chunks of meat inside. I could eat a vat of them. Ha! Coleslaw was a nice vinegary version and not the sloppy creamy stuff you might expect. Nice. Cornbread was also very good with honey butter. The Mac n cheese was just ok. However, better than at some other spots. Jack, you're killing it and I'll be back next time I'm in town visiting. Thanks!

I have been here a couple times. The ribs are good. The parking is not good during the busy times. There are not a lot of choices for bbq on the east side. This is out of the way but usually worth the drive

Ooo boy! We gotta BBQ joint in the BelRed! Came in on a Friday evening just before the 6 pm rush and seated promptly at a half booth table. There's music and TVs around the place. Friendly waitress who was always attentive and around when we needed her. Sauce on the table, check! We ordered the Picnic - We want to sample everything and see what's our fave. Teens didn't want to share so one ordered the steak dinner with Texas Chili (nice & meaty) and the MacNcheese. Other teen went with the brisket plate, cornbread (smooth like corncake and smothered in honey butter) and MacNcheese. The Picnic: 2 sausages for which we picked jalapeño cheese, half a chicken, brisket, pork ribs, and a nice pile of pulled pork. We paired it with garlic mash, garlic chili green beans, coleslaw, and collard greens. The meats - wow! Nicely done. I'm always impressed when a BBQ joint does chicken well. They brine it, folks! Yes!!!! That's the key to moist chicken. Sorry, I said meats and started talking about fowl, but it's a great indicator. Now, it was smart of my teen to get the brisket plate for himself because that's the first thing that disappeared from the Picnic tray. I seriously cannot wait to try their burnt ends next time. Brisket, check! Pulled pork - moist and savory with a couple crispy edges - Check. Piled high, check check! Oh I almost forgot, you get a basket of fixin's to include fresh quick pickles, onions, jalapeños, and sliced bread. The sides: Collard greens were fantastic with chunky meat surprises, lots of flavor. Texas chili with nice heat and chunks of meat, topped with cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Cornbread was heavenly and enough to share. Green beans (seasonal) were tasty, cooked just right with some crisp left. Coleslaw is creamy and savory, pairs well with the BBQ. Mash was a bit thin for my taste. And the Mac was a bit dry. Those were our only misses, but I don't come to BBQ for the sides. It's great when there's a winning side, don't get me wrong, and there's plenty of sides here to pick from. You won't leave hungry! My teens cleared their steak and brisket. And, We took a significant amount of the Picnic home. Thrilled to have leftover yummy BBQ for the next day. I should mention that we were also checked on by the owner and manager separately who were pleasant to talk to and attentive. We are thrilled Jack's is here in BelRed. Look forward to returning. EDIT TO ADD: Somehow I didn't mention the pork ribs properly. They were meaty, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Delish!!! Sorry I don't know how I forgot to elaborate.

Used to go to the ones in Seattle (the south Seattle one right before Georgetown - the big one; and the one in SLU) all the time. Greatness. But now that there's one close to home in Bellevue, we order here quite a bit, including via Uber Eats. I pretty much stick to the brisket and order the collard greens by the quart. By the quart! Literally! Yes, there's not much real competition here in the PNW for collard greens, but the version Jack's makes is legit.

We went there on Saturday night for birthday celebration. The parking was complimentary and the location was convenient. When we walked in, ambiance was laidback and smoky aroma was filled in the air. Server was attentive despite being busy. We ordered some appetizers, hush puppies, fried pickles, drinks, double trouble and bbq sandwich. Everything was delicious. I recently returned from Texas and very impressed how legit of the brisket was here. Great experience!! We will definitely come back!

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while, and finally got the chance to try the food through a massive catering order. I got a little sample of basically everything, and can definitely say that the quality is there. Out of all the items I tried, my favorites were the brisket, hot link sausage, and the chicken (surprisingly). The ribs were good though a bit bland for me, and the pulled pork was great with the sauce. I looooved the jalapeno sauce which I thought was so much better than the original sauce. Their potato salad was also quite good along with the sage sausage. I wasn't the biggest fan of the beans though. If you're craving bbq, Jack's is a great spot for it. You get your whole spread of everything with a fantastic sauce!

We've eaten in and gotten pick up multiple times since they opened in Redmond. The food here always hits the spot when we're craving BBQ, whether it's the meat by the pound, plates, specials or the sides. We've had many different items on their menu and haven't been disappointed yet. Parking is available in private lots out front and back.

We've eaten here a few times now and certainly never left hungry. The promotional "Big Dumper" sandwich they're offering during the Mariner's playoff run is a home run (pun intended) - a full pound of different meats in a great sandwich plus side (Texas Caviar for the win!) all at a great price (we ordered several for takeout). The last time we sat down for dinner there, the service was great, too!

I didn't know Jack's Bbq had a spot off BelRrd road, but checked this out after seeing it today. The sides that my son and I got were all very good, but I felt like the Brisket was lacking taste. I think the BBQ at Jack's in SODO is better. Our sever was very good, but there was another server that seemed a little too loud. SRV photo on the side was cool though. How can you not like a place that has a picture of Stevie Ray Vaughn.

This is legit BBQ! I've had almost everything on the menu and it's all amazing. If you love high quality smoked meats, delicious sides, and cold beer, Jack's is for you! Staff is always welcoming and attentive. Good tunes with a family friendly vibe.

First thing you would notice is that the ambience is pretty good. Well decorated and had abundant amount of seats. We got seated immediately and had our order put in quickly. The service was top notch, the waiter was really friendly and helpful. The food was a bit mediocre. The sausage was good, the r brisket was quite dry and not as seasoned, the ribs were okay, would have preferred more flavor for my meats. Sides were good. Overall, good ambience, would try again in the future to see if they have improved their meats.

As a Texan (and Aggie whoop) it's been a while since I've had some good BBQ. Jack's definitely hit the spot. I almost forgot I was in WA because it felt like TX in there! My husband and I went on Friday night around 6pm and it was packed. We only waited 5 minutes for a booth though. Once seated, our waiter was so friendly and attentive. I got the smoked sweet tea which was very refreshing! It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me and I liked the smoky taste. We ordered the queso and chips and they added the brisket on for us since there was a bit of a wait for the food. I'm so glad they added the brisket because we would've missed out! It was a delicious appetizer and we ate it up so fast. I got the brisket sandwich with queso Mac and cheese and my husband got the brisket plate with the Mac and mashed potatoes. Both plates were great portions, the brisket plate came with 4 strips of brisket and after the queso my husband was only able to finish half! The Mac and cheese wasn't what we expected but we ended up loving it. It had a tiny bit of a kick! The mashed potatoes were the favorite between the two sides though. They were so smooth and creamy! Overall, we will definitely be coming back regularly!

Jack has done it again!! I was lucky enough to attend his soft opening in the old Mayuri location that he has gussied up to feel like an upscale Texas BBQ joint. The food and service could not have been better. Yes, it was a soft opening, but I've never been to a perfectly executed one. This was seamless and the food was cooked perfectly with a full house and a lot of turnover. The staff encouraged us to challenge the kitchen and over order. We did and we ate most of it. What we didn't was eaten the next day as leftovers. The brisket, ribs, sausage, pork, hush puppies, and everything else in the photos was perfectly, prepared, smoked and juicy. The Texas caviar is always one of my favs at his places. The bartenders are clearly top notch as well. Fantastic Manhatten! The good news with this location is the opening GM lives 5 minutes away and plans to spend her foreseeable future ensuring Bellevue has a real BBQ joint that meets the expectations set at this opening. Really grateful this opened and now I can save the trek across the bridge to the Sodo location!

My favorite, local BBQ joint has opened on the eastside! WOOT! I was ecstatic to hear that Jack's BBQ was taking over the old Mayuri restaurant along Bel-Red road, as I anticipated an opening ever since it had its pop-up location in Bellevue during COVID. Now, it's finally here. My partner and I visited Jack's BBQ during opening day where we talked to the man himself, Jack! He was there, very hospitable and friendly, greeting guests and clearing tables. We visited during dinner time and the place was packed. We were able to snag a seat outside on the patio where it's dog friendly and there's cornhole. Like ol' Texas style, I love that the tables were picnic style outside. Inside, it's plenty of booth seating with a small bar area. The menu features a lot more than its OG location in SODO, as it incorporates what's offered at SODO and Algona. Therefore, you have the classic BBQ entrees, along with steaks, sandwiches, and breakfast items AKA the eastside location is the best location! We got it all, yo! Now the decision on what to order will be your biggest challenge here. My partner and I shared the picnic platter, which comes with all brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, jalapeno sausage and chicken, and four sides of our choosing. When we visited, they didn't have chicken, which was no big deal as we wanted to double up on our favorite protein here anyway - the brisket. Brisket is king here. But I mean, everything of the picnic platter was delicious! If I had to rank the meats, it goes: brisket, pork ribs, jalapeno beef sausage and then pulled pork. For our sides, we chose the cornbread, queso mac and cheese, collard greens and chili. Again, everything was delicious, which includes the sides. But damn, I am in love with that cornbread. It's basically dessert. *Drooling* Also, Texas style chili is the best chili ever as it's ALL MEAT AND NO BEANS. Stop with these unnecessary fillers! I'm serious when I say I am coming back. Everything on this menu looked intriguing, like the catfish sandwich, chicken fried steak and tomahawk steak for two. Save room for dessert because I hear the banana cream pudding is a staff favorite. I've never made it this far, which I know is child's play. But one of these days I'm gonna try it. It's just that the BBQ is so dang good that I happily fill up on it. Speaking of filled up on, the picnic platter is way more food than just for two and I say this from two people who can eat a lot, love meat and constantly work out. Not trying to impress you with my gun show, but yeah. The portions are hefty here. Love everything about Jack's BBQ, a piece of central Texas in Washington state. It's my favorite region of BBQ and am so glad Jack, the Texan has moved over to the Pacific Northwest to give us Washingtonians something that's hard to get - damn good, Texan BBQ.

Unfortunately did not hit the mark. I arrived Saturday evening and was sat fairly quickly at a small table in the bar section. The waiter was nice, and they let me bring in my hydroflask, which I appreciate. I ordered the Dallas-style brisket and pulled pork w/ sides of mac n cheese and French fries. None of the food was actually hot when it was served :/ I also requested the "fixins", which I never received even though the server said "I'll be right back with your fixins" when he served my meal. The pulled pork was quite good! The brisket was just fine, and I'd like to try the Austin style without the sauce. The Mac was good (except for the chunks of tomato in it from the queso? Not a fan), and the fries would have been good if hot and w any sauce. The water for my table was served in a debranded Hornitos bottle (other tables had other nameless glass bottles), which I enjoyed even tho I brought my hydroflask. I'll probably go back eventually to find my favorites on the menu, but the overall experience was disappointing for a first visit.

I came in alone for a bowl of chili. The food tasted good but the chili was really soup. A fork would never stand up in it. Service was good and the ambiance noisy and heavy on the Texas, but the hollywood version. There were no napkins on the table and I needed more. The server took a long time to bring the check and it was a credit card device. I put cash on the table and was then ignored for quite a while. Turns out they don't take cash. I didn't see this policy on any menu. So the chili was soup and they don't take cash. I won't be back.

Jacks is awesome ! It feels like family from the get go ! I would definitely try the queso and chips with brisket for an appetizer!! Alex and Abe are the best !!

In town and was at a hotel nearby looking for some food to get delivered and stumbled on this! Looked highly rated so I gave it a chance. I ordered delivery through their website because they have more options there than Uber eats. I opted for the spicy Caesar salad with brisket and piece of pecan pie. The brisket came on the side and it was a hefty portion which was great. Delicious salad probably could have had some more leafy greens but no complaints. The pecan pie was good came with some whipped cream. It wasn't the best pecan pie I've had but I thought it was delicious nonetheless I'm sure this place is even better in person so would love to try dining in

I met a friend here for dinner the other day and had a wonderful time. This is the type of place you can go with friends and family and feel welcome without the music blaring at you. We were able to have a regular volume conversation over some amazing food. The fried pickles are incredible. I'd order them again in a heartbeat. Just delicious. The brisket was incredible. They definitely have a clean smoke going, and the flavors of the brisket itself were all in tact. Our waiter was a delight. He was attentive and friendly. The person I assume was the owner dropped by our table and brought up some fun, organic conversation. I'm really glad to have a Jack's in the neighborhood and I'll certainly be back!

This place is so amazing, we went there 5 times in the first week they were open!! I am not easily "wow'ed" but their food AND service is amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME we go. And every time, we get a different server and order a different meal. Incredible!! So I tell you all this hoping that it does not get so busy that I will have a long wait in the future...so let me cut ahead in line, okay?! :) The meat is made Texas style so the meat is flavored in a way that you do not need sauce since it is sooo good as is. Of course, they have great sauce if you love sauce and want to add some. Note that most BBQ places have chicken that is just fine, nothing too exciting. This chicken is flavored so well and is the perfect texture and it is not dry! They have some sort of secret to recruiting staff that seem to love their jobs! Seriously! All the waitstaff seem happy to be there and wanting to make sure you get exactly what you want and that you love your meal. They know the menu and food so well. I love going there since it is always a great experience. Amazing food, people that are happy to help you, clean restaurant...what could be better? Also, they have a full cheat sheet for dietary restrictions and even have many vegan options so everyone is covered!! You are going to love it!!! (And now I am hungry after writing this review...guess where I am going...)

Been craving Texas BBQ ever since I got back from...well Texas. I thought I would be disappointed since there really isn't too much option here in the Seattle area for this specific cuisine, but the brisket here was very on par, very moist and flavorful. It didn't need any sauce, but whatever their house sauce on the table was was good so I like adding it in. Sad that this took over one of my favorite Indian restaurant, but it's a nice addition to the east side with plenty of parking. I guess this is their 2nd location so anytime a business opens up another location, it has to be a good sign. Their brisket is definitely something to try, but I'd recommend getting the combo where you get a selection of 2 or 3 different kinds with a few sides to try a variety. Depends on how many people you are sharing it with I guess. For 2, 2 meats and 2 sides was plenty. It didn't look like much food, but it's rich and gets filling as we're eating it. Thought we would have room for dessert, but we didn't. HAHA. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)
