Stopped in and tried the veggie pie - wellll worth the wait. I loved the olives and veggies and it was more pie than I expected between the amount of toppings and overall thickness. I couldn’t eat even half of the smaller size. Cheese bread was bangin as well. Friendly, fast service. Will definitely stop again if I’m back in town.

Pizza is my favorite food. This is an interesting example of a cross between a deep dish and a traditional pizza - it's a long bake like a deep dish, but not nearly as thick in the middle. I found the crust tasty and the toppings were piled on thick. The large comes cut into a bunch of little rectangular pieces, could feed 3-4 people. Some local / WI beer options, and our waitress was nice and always available for a refill. The one thing that surprised me was the lack of additional items for appetizers other than bread sticks, especially given the wait time on the pizza. It's located on Broadway in an old building in an area that's working hard to revitalize. The inside is a funky mix of interior decorating and there's only a few high tops in the front area and then small booths running along the side.

Nothing really to say here. When you want the best pizza in the area, you go here! A bit pricey, but you’ll never leave hungry. Great selection of unique pizza combos, build your own, modify theirs.

Jake’s Pizza in Green Bay is a hidden gem with amazing staff who make you feel right at home. Their artisan pizzas are top-notch—packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Just a tip: if you're in a hurry, go with a small pizza. The large ones are worth the wait but can take up to an hour to prepare. The vibe is super laid-back, making it a great place to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy a cold PBR. One important heads-up: Jake’s you're seeing cash prices, so hit that ATM before coming.

5 Irish guys landed in green bay Friday night for Packers Vs niners game. Met Brooke in Lennys Tap bar, she told us to come to Jake's and she'd look after us.. I requested red peppers on my pizza which weren't on the menu, she said she would get them special the next evening. Walking through Walmart next day myself and the lads saw her there peppers in hand. One of our group got in into Jake's at 8 and brooke had 5 seats reserves at the bar and rest of us arrived little later and we just had the best food and banter for next two hours. Staff in there were go friendly pizzas were delicious. Absolutely made our trip popping into Jake's.. I'm hoping our photo makes it on the wall!!!!! Thanks to all the staff We will be back for opening day versus Detroit lions(well two of us) ... Brooke Lenny's tap? Tequilas?

Extraordinary pizza. Deep dish but not deep dish. Crust is like a pastry crust. Does take 30-45 minutes to cook but well worth the wait. Excellent owner operator establishment in downtown Green Bay. Craft cocktails and select local brews are nice touch. Men's bathroom has a pretty sweet used skateboard wall. Have been here many times but not nearly enough. Timmeh bread is fantastic as well. Sausage/Pep/Jalapeno is my go to pie.

Google
The atmosphere is unique. There is a bit of wait while they make your pizza, Which is well worth the wait.We ordered the vegetarian, it was so good ! cheesy and fresh vegetables. The drinks were cold and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Yum 👍

Google
Jake’s Pizza serves up one of the best pies we’ve ever had in the area. It’s a local favorite that truly lives up to its reputation. The quality was impressive, and the service was top-notch; even on a busy night. They also had a decent beer selection, which included PBR on tap. The breadsticks were definitely a standout, especially when paired with their Italian salsa. It’s clear that a lot of heart & passion went into creating this dining experience.

Yelp
One word for Jake's: WOW! Consistently one of the best pizzas in Green Bay and the Fox River Valley, Jake's today continues the years and years of excellence established by the original Jake's The sisters Cara and Brooke did not skip a beat when they bought the original "Superior "pizza and continued the tradition. Just the mention of their name brings back many incredible pizzas over the many years. Whenever we get to Green Bay a #1 stop is Jake's. If you haven't dined there be sure to change that. I wish we lived closer so we could be frequent customers! The incredible crust, the house-made sauce and other ingredients are the best! Add the great service and wonderful ambiance of this gem all makes for a fabulous pizza experience. You'll not regret stopping in! And no, I am not a relative or connected to the place.

Yelp
Carry out was available when promised. Pizza was delicious! I ordered here because news article said they would be closed to protect their employees during heat spell. Their values are in the right place. Thank you!

Yelp
When you come here, expect to wait about 45 minutes to an hour for your pizza. This is part of the cooking process that is very unique to making a crisp, flavorful, lack-of-grease pie. Read the bottom as to WHY. We arrived about 5pm on a Saturday. Not real busy. 1 minute to someone taking our drinks order, 2m30 to having drinks on the table and placing our app and food order. Apps were on the table in 15 minutes. Had an order of the Tracy bread with garlic sauce. Get the garlic sauce and just dunk your sticks like they're Oreos in milk. Delicious. Another 42 minutes and our pies were brought out one by one. Cooked to perfection, the bacon wasn't floppy, outer crust held its shape, and the base crust wasn't thin like a proofed crust. And also... no grease! It was moist, but it was the tomato sauce that was giving it the moisture. Would I order again? Heck yes. Would I have 3 beers before the food arrives? Heck no, lol. LITTLE SECRET ON WHY IT TAKES SO LONG: aluminum pans are used instead of dark pans which would otherwise cook faster. If they used dark pans, the outside and the crust would cook too fast, and the middle would be floppy and undercooked. This and the oven was the key to a stiff, flavorful pie. Would return again. 10/10.

Yelp
Got a dinner here off the vegetarian pizza and tried the sausage and pepperoni pizza. The pizza was cooked very well but still had a soft center crust. The crust isn't what I remember from the original Jakes. Service was good. Nothing special, nothing bad. I was disappointed with the lack of menu and the fact that there is no salad option at all. It has been 7 years since I have been here, it may be another 7 before heading back.

Yelp
Burnt food overcooked unseasoned pizza horrible service long wait Beer specials on wall they didn't have

Yelp
While they disclose its 45 minutes for a pizza, one couldn't help but wonder if the employees would slow down taking shots with customers, they could cut down on that order time?? Aside from the awful service, when asking for plates we were told no (thought restaurants usually have these). Bartender said "we don't have enough for the restaurant, fold open a napkin" Was seriously waiting for Ashton Kutcher to come out the back door any minute. Don't recommend.

Yelp
Wow!!, my wife and I just enjoyed one of the best pizzas we've ever enjoyed. Cara was the greatest, helping us understand why their pizza is so darn good. The real reason, is they love what they do. I have found my pizza place whenever I visit the Green Bay area. Oh, by the way the prices are very reasonable and the the whole place just make you feel like your at the bar next door to your home. Very, Very pleasant place. One more thing, sitting in my hotel room enjoying my cold pizza from last night and yes!! it's one of the best i've ever had, don't worry if your over priced hotel room doesn't have a microwave, you won't need it.

Yelp
Everything. Great food and service. The atmosphere was casual but nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Scott D.

Yelp
Had not been to Jake's in a while. Did not like the classic pizza. Very little meat and cheese and taste. Nice place and people.

Brenda B.

Yelp
The absolute best pizza in Green Bay! We take all our friends and family there when they visit. Highly recommend the Shrimp Scampi Pizza!

Joe O.

Yelp
One of a kind pizza!!! The people that run the place very personable. Great every time!!!
google avatar

Nonnië M.

Yelp
Cubano pizza is super dank buffalo chicken pizza is amaze balls do you want great food and service? Come to Jake's! great ambiance
google avatar

Casey G.

Yelp
Cara & Pinkie made my visit memorable. Shrimp Scampi gourmet pizza was scrumptious. I ordered small and only consumed half. I anticipate the leftovers. Hinterland Brewery Cherry Wheat beer was tasty Love the hometown vibe. Always have... Shine On

Cindi D.

Yelp
I have been a Jake's fan for a lot of years. Last night 12/7/23 after spending $70 for three to go pizzas I'll never go back. They were burnt, so dried out the cheese didn't even move. The person who cooked and let them out the door did not represent your business in any positive way.
google avatar

Rachel T.

Yelp
Great food, excellent service. My fiancé brought me there last night. I absolutely LOVE their pizza. Our server was a sweetheart. My friend Kat recommended Jake's months ago, now I know why. Full bar, great food, excellent service. I would definitely recommend Jake's Pizza.

Josh F.

Yelp
This pizza is underrated for the area. It's easily the best I've encountered and the atmosphere and vibe of being a hole in the wall pizza joint makes it even better. The sauce, crust , cheese and toppings are all high quality. If you have a hankering for a great pie and don't mind a 45 minute wait, this place should be top of your list!
google avatar

Sara K.

Yelp
I was looking for a place for a couple of quick drinks and some takeout food when I got into town. Stopped in to order a pizza to go and had a absolutely delicious Bloody Mary with homemade mix that was garnished with a pickled mushroom, pickled onion, olive, and a pickle - highly recommend if you like bloodies. Ordered my pizza to go - got a 9" Personal Special - Sausage, pepperoni, ham, mushroom, onion, black olive and with recommendation if the bartender garlic(which is fresh slices of garlic). Pizza had a great crust and was cooked perfectly. There were a lot of toppings and the sliced garlic adds a lot of flavor if you're a garlic fan. Atmosphere was neat filled with what was clearly regulars later on a Sunday night. Service was quick and friendly. Pizza took about a half hour from when I ordered - enough time for 2 drinks!

Yelp
We ordered take out. It was absolutely delicious! Tavern cut with nice crispy crust. The herb bread was good, but not the highlight. Would absolutely recommend for easy pizza.
google avatar

Barbara S.

Yelp
This pizza recipe is made from the great Jake! So delicious and worth the 45 minute wait. The location is cozy and the staff is friendly. Heather Peterman has her work and face all over this place which brings me joy always. I will forever love the large garlic and jalapeño combo pizza!
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
This place is busy quite often, especially the small bar area. They have great service and excellent food! The place is small, with a small bar area and some booths, along with some high tops in the bar area. The pizza takes about 40 minutes to make, but so worth the wait!! I always get a custom pizza, and their breadsticks are pretty good too. They have a full bar, which is nice!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice spot for local home made pizza. Pizza took a little longer to come out but portions were great and it was tasty. We ordered the tracy garlic bread (which was yummy), small bbq chicken pizza and small classic special. Over all experience I'd give it a 7/10 (my taste buds). Nothing bad to say. Great customer service and great location.
google avatar

Greg D.

Yelp
Service was great and pizza was good. Concerned with how loud it was in the place. Need something to help absorb the reflective conversations and kitchen noise so it is easier to enjoy company conversation and place menu order. I prefer pizza with more of a hand tossed crust and more cheese but that's a personal preference not the pizza places concern.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
Classic, and a good classic at that. Pizza always, always (!) starts with the dough - good dough, good pizza, and Jake's has a solid dough. The crust is nicely chewy and crunchy, with a nice flavor. The pizza sauce is a touch to sweet for my taste, but still works nicely with with the pie. I love the sausage! I will always order double sausage. The pie is nicely portioned, without to many toppings, or too few. There are very few places that serve a good pizza in Green Bay, and Jake's is one of those. If you are stopping in or ordering to go on the weekend make sure to give yourself 30-45 minutes, but the wait is worth it. And you can just order some of their wonderful bread sticks or meatballs to tide you over while waiting for the main event.
google avatar

Yelp
Okay I rarely give out 5 stars since I always believe there is room for improvement. But come on this is Jake's! Best pizza in GB! The only thing I could see as an improvement could be an expanded seating area but they get it done with what the building provides. Always friendly, always delicious and you never have to twist an arm to get someone to go with you!
google avatar

Jerry G.

Yelp
Incredible! If your in Green Bay do not miss Jake's. Incredible pizza, incredible atmosphere in a very cool building, awesome owners and staff. This is a special piece of America and of Green Bay's history. An incredible family with a deep love for Green Bay. Did I say don't miss it?
google avatar

Aubrey W.

Yelp
Really cool building. Good service and decent pizza. We got a classic pepperoni and a classic everything pizza. The crust was a little thicker than I prefer it, and the everything had a ton of mushrooms...which I wasn't expecting. Still good stuff though! Will be back again to try out other toppings and/or their deli sandwiches. They also have a full bar.
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
This place confuses me a bit. My husband went to order a pizza and they told him they only do deep dish. They may want to take a trip to Chicago because when he arrived home with it I was surprised. This is a pan pizza not deep dish and it was okay. The crust was tasty for a pan pizza and the toppings were fresh. It was nothing special though and waiting that long for it was a bummer. Not sure I will be back anytime soon there are better places in Green Bay.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
No food yet. Been waiting for 45 min for 1 pizza. Thinking about walking out! update: took an hour for 1 pizza - it was good but we were starving! never going back.
google avatar

James F.

Yelp
Jakes has a really good vibe. Great service. Pizza is good. The pizza is better than franchise pizza but I do miss Billoti's. My only comment is the Crust. could've been a little crispier. It was a little too moist.
google avatar

Shirley F.

Yelp
Visiting our kids who live in the area. Wanted to buy pizzas for dinner on Saturday night, using yelp reviews to ask if they wanted or had pizza from various places, prefer to support smaller places when we travel. . . Daughter said everyone raves about this place, it was just a couple miles from her house so we ordered carryout. Ordered a small vegetarian, large classic and a small scampi pizza. Dont agree with all these reviews-- maybe they had new staff in the kitchen or something? -- but seriously these were overbaked pies with no real taste other than salt on these pies. Fifty bucks for cardboard yuck. Dominoes, Pizza Hut and Glass Nickel would have been so much better for a third of the price for what we got. Not recommended.
google avatar

Alexis B.

Yelp
Hands down best pizza in Green Bay, maybe even the best pizza I've ever tasted?? Loaded with mushrooms and peppers on a unique tasting thin crust. I've never dined in but I look forward to picking up a Jakes deluxe when I come back to Green Bay!
google avatar

Kevin R.

Yelp
"I don't eat thick crust pizza often, but when I do, I eat at Jake's" I think that's my new motto now. I've never really been a thin crust guy, but I'm going to have make an exception from now on. Most thick crust pizza is either too poofy (Pizza Hut), too chewy (Sicilian Style), or drenched in oil/butter, and it detracts from what you are actually going after: the cheese and toppings. Jake's manages to balance everything in good proportions. The crust is firm with a nice bite without being either dry or oily. The sauce is well seasoned, not too much, or too little; and the cheese and toppings are plenty and fresh. For $10 I got a personal pizza with quality toppings that more than filled me up. Well done, Jake's.

Deb G.

Yelp
Crust was thin & crispy. Fresh mushrooms were good. Got a salty taste from the fresh Parmesan. Our server was very attentive & friendly. Pale ale tap beer complemented the pizza. Also tried the big meatball appetizer-spicy & cheesy!
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
New location same great taste! I live in Appleton and have not been at Jakes since they loved and once again was happy. Great service, great pizza!

Chris O.

Yelp
We absolutely love Jake's Pizza, especially the Timmeh sticks! We usually get pick up about once a month and the food is always hot and ready when they say it will be and always delicious.
google avatar

Augustine A.

Yelp
Went their for the first time. The staff is very nice and friendly. The pizza is good but not great. Order a large pepperoni pizza and the price is affordable. Not to be rude prolly won't go back.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Best pizza north of Chicago. Period! Definitely recommend. Good selection of craft beers. Although the pizza takes time, its worth the wait.
google avatar

Kiona M.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday with friends and family at Jake's. We felt at home and everyone enjoyed themselves. The staff was very attentive and the food was fabulous! I love the thin, crispy crust and tasty toppings. I would definitely go back again.

Yelp
Went the other day for the first time since the reopening. Pizza was good but not as good as the previous location. Will definitely be back and happy the sisters brought jakes pizza back to Green Bay.

Yelp
Not really sure where to start?!? I will start with the pizza, well pizza is always good. Took a while to get our 3 small pizzas, as they were out of larges (which they explained to us right away). I'm pretty familiar with pizza places like Jake's, they usually take some time. Staff was very polite and friendly. Now for the unusual experience!! An older intoxicated couple was having an argument, swearing and being loud. I quickly realized that are presents may have had something to do with the dispute. My husband and I and our children are Mexican. The older woman nonchalantly told staff she would put our meal on her tab. So, when it came time to ask for our bill the waitress explained that another customer paid for us. The waitress never told us who paid our bill, my children were feeling quite uncomfortable as they are not use to people swearing and being loud in public. As we walked out someone did say "Bye" not sure who or why?!? I'm very uncomfortable with the entire experience and also confused and maybe a little sad. I normally would be more vocal but the way 2020 has been, I really just wanted to get out of there. Unfortunately I will not be going back to Jake's, or maybe without my kids for round 2 as it seems people may need to be educated!!

Winnie J.

Yelp
Pizzas are a Green Bay favorite though a bit different than most. We liked the combination of chicken with Alfredo sauce as well as the deluxe pizza. The bread and dips were delicious. The service was excellent and we enjoyed a great family time.
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
Wait @ 5:40 was 1 hour 20 minutes and worth the wait. Burned my mouth on the first bite and that was with it too. The pizza was fantastic in the style only Jakes could make. They don't have a large menu but they have other offerings including a nice beer and wine list. You can order your pie and stroll the Broadway District.
google avatar

Lissa C.

Yelp
Such a busy spot- get there early! Had the herb bread as an appetizer and a sausage and mushroom pizza. There was a bit of a wait for the pizza, so I'm glad we had the appetizer to tide us over. The wait staff was very pleasant and was quick to refill drinks. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you.

Shelly L.

Yelp
First timer here. Lots of people really like this place. I would say the pizza is really just average. And over cooked. Our waitress was the only real reason for giving it more that one star. Husband and son said they rather go to Little Caesars than come come back here. So there's that. Glad we tried it but we won't be back.
google avatar

Kylee T.

Yelp
Excellent pizza! Prices comparable to the big chains, with far better taste and culture. Located in an old building nicely remodeled in the up and coming Broadway district. Board games to play and beers available while you wait (cook time is 30-45 min). We ordered the personalized special and pepperoni, great value and delicious. The garlic dipping sauce is worth getting a little messy.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Jake's is my favorite stop in Green Bay. Though it's in a new location, it's the same pizza, exceptional staff, and a warm atmosphere. It's rare that you can find a place where they know you by name, know your order, and have your drink ready before you even sit down. I enjoy that they have a variety of local beers, and rotate what is on tap. As far as pizza goes you cannot go wrong with any combination, though my heart belongs to the pepperoni and garlic. And there is no point in going to Jake's without ordering the Tracy bread, with their homemade garlic sauce. You can also take home their frozen pizzas but nothing beats one baked by Bryce. Thanks for reviving one of the classics of Green Bay!
google avatar

Steven M.

Yelp
The new Jakes is horrible! We went there yesterday and sat down about 6, order are food within 15 minutes and ended up waiting for our pizza over a hour for just pepperoni. While another table got there's before us, who came in after us. Also the other waitress got us soda refills because ours just kept passing by our table. Finally got pizza and was hoping that the pizza would save the day. That was not the case, the pizza crust was like cardboard, the flavor of the sauce was not there. Definitely not the old Jakes. What a disappointment and horrible service. Don't waist your money here.
google avatar

John E M.

Yelp
I like jakes as long as we go and it's made fresh, I don't recommend the frozen. I got there to late to order so I bought a frozen, and it was soggy from the ice crystals.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
Very impressed with the new Jakes. Place is very nice and has a good vibe. Music is nice and is worth a visit. Pizza is just like it always was and the beer is yummy and cold.
