"You can hear the reggae music playing outside Jamrock Cuisine before you even step through the door. And while this family-owned restaurant gets their patties from a local distributor, you can still count on the crunch of a golden, flaky crust and tasty fillings that you can enjoy at one of their two outdoor tables next to the entrance. Beyond the standard beef, chicken, and vegetable patties, they offer a spinach version instead of callaloo. You can also order a plantain tart here, which is similar to a patty with mashed sweet plantains that isn’t overly sweet." - yolande clark jackson

We wanted to try Jamaican food and we got lucky with this place. We walked in and felt very welcomed. This place appeared to be a family owned restaurant, they helped us decide on our order and we chose to eat in; we were lucky to get a table, there were only two available outside only. This place is mostly a to go style restaurant. We ordered two 1/2 order chicken curry, and one dinner curry ox tail. What tremendous portions at a great price and unbelievable flavors. Food was fresh and served quickly, there were a lot of people but mostly to take their food to go. This is an absolute hidden gem. There is not much to the atmosphere, they serve the food in styrofoam, even if you choose to eat outside you will get your food in a styrofoam container. They also provided us with cups and cold water in a bottle to serve ourselves. We highly recommend this place and we look forward to returning.

Overall great food having tried the jerk pork and chicken. Very large portions for a reasonable price. Friendly and helpful customer service. Restaurant is typically busy so best to call in your order and there also is no indoor seating. Not sure if you can sit outdoors but I don’t believe so.

Excellent food, very friendly staff, excellent service. Felt like I was at the dinner table at a family member's house. Loved that family atmosphere. This was my first time going and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town. I had the oxtail dinner with rice and peas. My friends had curry chicken and brown stew chicken. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. They even let us stay and finish our dinner well past closing time. That was gracious and they didn't have to do that. Shows just how much they care for their customers!!

Absolutely delicious. I was around the area and have been curious about this place before. I decided to give it a try and I have to say wow! Got an Ox tail dinner and it was delicious, new go to place for me going forward. The ladies in the front taking the orders are super nice and cordial. If you have the chance to check it out do so.

Nice family-run takeout place with some outdoor seating. Good meal selection and cultural products. Had a jerk chicken wrap, yuca fries, and bread pudding. Everything was excellent but mostly I couldn't get over how good the yuca fries were!! I'll be back!

If you are craving Jamaican food, this is the place to go! The brown chicken stew and jerk chicken were fantastic. The spicy beef patty and coco bread was the perfect combination! The conch soup was hearty and delicious. The service was fantastic. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. Totally recommend it!

Amazing food and even better owners. Going to Jamrock is like visiting family. Their hospitality will make you feel just like home. My personal favorites are their jerk chicken pasta and snapper. 10/10 recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed! Such amazing and loving people, truly.

When I come here, I always feel like I stepped back into Half Way Tree. The patties are baked in-house, and they are so delish! Every plate of food, especially the curry goat, is melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
