I’ve been wanting to try out this bakery for quite some time now, but due to my schedule, I kept missing their hours of operation. Recently, I finally got a chance to visit. Since it was my first time, I took my time looking over the pastry selection and asked a question or two. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter responded in a way that made me feel as though I was being annoying or that my questions were silly.(Mind you I just asked if they will be making anymore of a particular pastry I seen advertised on their website.)
I brushed it off and went ahead with my order—though I felt rushed, despite being the only customer in line and the bakery being nearly empty. I initially thought maybe the staff member( tall , light skin ,short hair woman ) was just having an off day, so I tried to lighten the mood and engage with the owner, who was seated behind the counter. Based on the owners social media presence, I expected someone warm and welcoming, but that day, she seemed disengaged and cold. There was no greeting, no smile—just a blank expression, even when I tried to spark a bit of conversation.
On a positive note, the bakery is beautifully decorated and the pastries were delicious. Still, I left feeling disappointed by the overall customer service experience, especially since I had such high expectations from what I’d seen online.
This isn’t meant to come off as negative—just an honest account of my visit. I truly hope the owner receives this as constructive feedback. I’d love to see this bakery continue to grow and succeed, and I’d hate for poor customer service to be the reason it falls short.
