Je T’aime Patisserie - Review - Bedford-Stuyvesant - New York - The Infatuation

"Je t’aime Patisserie in Bed-Stuy gained a cult following for its inventive croissants—think red velvet croissants with cream cheese frosting filling, or a piña colada croissant with actual rum incorporated. You can only get those specialties on the weekends, but even on a Tuesday, the pastry case is full to the brim with cinnamon buns, focaccia, and a handheld creme brûlée tart that the person taking orders might recommend, because she just finished making them and it's a good batch. There's a seating area where you can get some work done with a side of quiche on a quiet day, but the owner, Jatee, also hosts a lot of events, like floral pop-ups and croissant-making classes. photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte" - Willa Moore

Hit or miss. The savory pastries aren’t worth it. Sausage in the sausage roll is way too sweet; like it’s rolled in sugar. And the ham and cheese croissant had almost no filling. Croissant itself was good though. They had a biscuit sandwich that I wanted to love, but was mid. The biscuit was dry and not very flavorful. I had an amazing brownie there, but it came off their seasonal menu and I was disappointed I couldn’t get it the next time I went. The cinnamon roll was great too; prob also seasonal. I might go back if I was walking past; wouldn’t go out of my way tho.

Je T’aime Patisserie in Bed-Stuy is absolutely worth the hype! Every dessert here is a masterpiece—the cookies, croissants, and cakes are on point with the perfect balance of flavor and texture. What makes it even better is the owner's commitment to making these sweet treats accessible to everyone. It’s not just a bakery; it’s a community gem. Support this business at all costs! If you’re in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stop by.

This was one of the best pastry experiences I've ever had. You would literally have to go to France or Jè Taime Patisserie for a REAL Croissant Hands Down!!!! The Staff was very pleasant. The owner was working just as much and as hard as her staff.Q They were extremely attentive, answering questions, giving information, and also it was teaching going on amongst the staff and owner. Very clean. Very inviting. Very Much will return again🤌🏾✨️💜

I’ve been wanting to try out this bakery for quite some time now, but due to my schedule, I kept missing their hours of operation. Recently, I finally got a chance to visit. Since it was my first time, I took my time looking over the pastry selection and asked a question or two. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter responded in a way that made me feel as though I was being annoying or that my questions were silly.(Mind you I just asked if they will be making anymore of a particular pastry I seen advertised on their website.) I brushed it off and went ahead with my order—though I felt rushed, despite being the only customer in line and the bakery being nearly empty. I initially thought maybe the staff member( tall , light skin ,short hair woman ) was just having an off day, so I tried to lighten the mood and engage with the owner, who was seated behind the counter. Based on the owners social media presence, I expected someone warm and welcoming, but that day, she seemed disengaged and cold. There was no greeting, no smile—just a blank expression, even when I tried to spark a bit of conversation. On a positive note, the bakery is beautifully decorated and the pastries were delicious. Still, I left feeling disappointed by the overall customer service experience, especially since I had such high expectations from what I’d seen online. This isn’t meant to come off as negative—just an honest account of my visit. I truly hope the owner receives this as constructive feedback. I’d love to see this bakery continue to grow and succeed, and I’d hate for poor customer service to be the reason it falls short.

Wonderful time. Took my mom here as an early Mother's Day outing. The pastry was a deliciously refreshing surprise. I normally try/go for cappuccinos, but the Red Velvet Latte caught my eye. I decided to try it, instead. Delightfully nutty tasting notes, with a smooth sweet finish. The espresso was just right and balanced well with the milk. Will come back again, with friends next time. 💖

I bought three items, a cheddar biscuit, a focaccia, and a lemon meringue tart, plus a tea. all were standout! The cheddar biscuit alone could make this place a destination! It was light and flaky (for a cheese biscuit,) and had a healthy enough portion of jalepeno to make any spice fan happy! the focaccia was incredible, every bite had flavor, it was never dry, bland, or chewy, like so many can be. The fruit (peach and more?) was surprising as I believed it to be all savory but the quality was incredible. The lemon tart was wonderful, not too sweet, and the meringue part was as good a quality i've ever tasted. Even the english breakfast tea was standout, it reminded me how excellent a tea can be (and that I should really try to find some like it.) Worth the trip, and their hours are good as well. The place is cute, the staff is friendly, and the vibe all together was fantastic. It's a gem Finding such quality in ny is a crapshoot and this place is a winner!

The ham & cheese croissant was so light, flaky & buttery I loved it, I haven’t had a croissant this good since my trip to Paris. Triple chocolate cookie is decadent while not being too sweet! I will definitely be back. I loved the atmosphere. Can’t wait to try to red velvet Latte!

Google
The store is so cute, the food is amazing. Buttery flaky pastries, had such a hard time deciding what i wanted lol. So i purchased 5 items. They all hit!! Most definitely will be coming back. Love having a great pastry shop so close to home, so glad i wont have to go to Manhattan for top tier croissants. Such a win!!!

Yelp
Simply amazing hidden gem in my neighborhood! The space is so lovely and airy, I decided to switch from to-go to stay-and-chill. Coffee was really good and they have a generous assortment of Gluten Free pastries. The corn honey one I had was delicious! Oh, and let's take a moment to applaud the charming service!

Yelp
Food 5 Service 5 Ambiance 5 Spacious, delicious, open, warm and welcoming. 5/5 across the board for all 3 aforementioned categories!!! The pastries are consistently delicious and the owner is a beautiful soul. The pastries are fresh and delicate on the palette as you want them to be. The tastes are profound yet subtle if you can imagine such a thing! Love that the sausage roll was turkey sausage. The dough for the roll was DELICIOUS! The mimosa croissant was the New Years Day special and it was DELICIOUS! Delightful creams and tastes and the croissant itself was perfect in texture and taste as well. The apple pastry was incredible. I wish I had 2! I can't continue to describe anymore because I have to now go to the shop. 2 thumbs up, Certified Customer ! May He add!!

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon as I've been wanting to check out this spot for a while. As soon as you enter, you're immediately greeted by the warm employees and the smell of fresh pastries. It looks like they offer different menu items throughout the day that change often, which is super exciting. I decided to get a plain Raspberry Rose Croissant and their Spinach Roll. The raspberry rose croissant was deliciously crunchy/flaky on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside but my favorite was definitely the roll as it had savory sesame seeds sprinkled onto as well as mushrooms mixed inside with the spinach. There's plenty of seating inside and the line moves quickly. It looks like they have a great drink menu as well that I look forward to trying on my next visit.

Yelp
This place is SO cute and just what Brooklyn needed in the area. I had been wanting to try it for so long and glad I finally did! All of their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are AMAZING. Super fresh and full of taste. I had the BEC everything croissant and a cookie- both delicious. Their coffee is also nice and strong! I tried regular and the red velvet and I highly recommend the regular coffee. They were both good but, I prefer the simple things. The space is cozy but has plenty of seating. There are also 2 tables outside for outdoor seating. But for the front workers, this would have been a five star visit; my friend and I felt truly unwelcome. Not even a hello welcome in and when we tried to ask for recommendations the cashier barely wanted to engage. So, we took our food and ate outside. Nevertheless, TRY THIS PLACE AND SUPPORT THEM. The chef is truly talented and I love this for BK. I would have loved a spot like this growing up. HIGHLY recommend.

Yelp
I had to come support the cause when I landed in BK for a day layover before going out of the country. Seeing Jatee's story on IG and in other foodie programs was inspirational and to my surprise she was there that day... helping another entrepreneur as she interviewed her and asked for tips. So no selfie that day, maybe another time. It was great that this place was within walking distance from a black coffee spot that we had breakfast at - just perfect. And yes BK needs this and that place! The vegan Sweet Potato Cake at $5.75 was sooooooo good! Nice thick slice that I couldn't even eat all of it. Saved the rest for the next day. If I wasn't full from the breakfast sandwiches at the other place I would have tried more and will do next time. Ambiance was cute with a good decor as well. Nice people and great pastries!

Yelp
I discovered Je T'aime Patisserie through the Righteous Eats IG page, and when I finally made it to Brooklyn (from Kansas City), I knew I had to visit. Nestled in the community, this Black-owned and woman-owned jewel is a true staple, offering a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Visiting on a rainy Sunday afternoon, I indulged in their Brown Sugar Bread Pudding, and it was simply heavenly. The rich, caramelized flavors combined with a perfectly moist texture made it a standout dessert. Je T'aime delivers not just on taste, but on creating an experience that feels both personal and communal. It's clear why this bakery has earned its place in the neighborhood. If you're ever in Brooklyn, Je T'aime Patisserie is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality baked goods and supporting local, community-driven businesses.

Yelp
This is such a cute pastry shop! The interior is nicely decorated with benchy and chair seating areas. It's a nice place to catch up with friends but probably don't recommend big groups as the table sizes are limited. The pastry selection seems to be random as I've seen different items come and go based on previous reviews. I came mostly to try their speciality croissants but when I was here, they only had the ham and cheese option. We ended up with the banana/chocolate bread pudding. It was delicious and the lady was nice to also warm up the pastry for us. To be honest I was hoping to see more unique pastry options but maybe I came at the wrong time.
google avatar

Amber N.

Yelp
Wonderful service and overall vibes. We all enjoyed our visit. The red velvet latte didn't exactly give me red velvet flavor, but still a good drink. The pastries were amazing! I tried the triple chocolate cookie and they also had free samples of white chocolate blondies. Everything had perfect texture, flavor, and was not overly sweet.

Yelp
I came across this cute bakery via TikTok and finally got a chance to visit. Upon entering the shop you feel the warmth and friendliness of the staff and the overall ambiance. Decorated very well and very spacious. It was around 3pm on a Tuesday when I arrived and there wasn't too much of a selection so I purchased an almond croissant, a white chocolate mixed berry cake, and an iced coffee. The croissant was flakey and there was a perfect amount of almond paste in the middle. As for the cake, I wanted to love this cake because it looked so decadent, almost like a Chantilly cake but the texture was too dense. It was more like a pound cake than a sponge cake. It was just ok. The iced coffee was great. A cute neighborhood bakery with a variety of sweet and savory treats, you just have to get there early before it's all gone.

Yelp
I couldn't be more pleased with my journey into Je T'aime. I have to say, I was pretty nervous when I saw the pastry shop in its opening stages. I was nervous because, before its opening, various businesses were set up at that same address, but they didn't last. A few times, I passed by, and it didn't seem the business was open or thriving. I'm so pleased to see that it is open and thriving. To complement my mental health day, I visited Je' T'aime. The shop looks so pretty in pink. Although the seating is limited, you can enjoy one of their amazing and unique pasties on-site. As a treat to myself, I enjoyed their almond paste croissant. It's the best I've ever had. Not only was it covered with deliciously toasted almonds, but it was also filled with the most delicious almond paste. The croissant was flaky and buttery to the max. Like I said, it is the best I've ever had. I highly recommend you pay a visit to Je T'aime. You won't be disappointed, and I promise you, you will be back for more.

Yelp
Saw this bakery on social advertising. Black and women owned. Since they make French pastries in Brooklyn, stop by to support. But this bakery can be limited as they bake instore daily. I had the au raisin roll, plain croissant, and molasses cookie with iced oat milk matcha latte. The pastries were decent, the au raisin was slightly charred, the molasses was perfect, the croissant was flaky but had been sitting out too long. The oat milk didn't have much ice, more warm than cold. I recommend, don't sell burnt pastries to costumers. The space is small but bright industrial design. They sell out often so if you're looking for fresh variety, arrive early if possible. The staff and owner were nice otherwise.

Yelp
Wonderful neighborhood bakery, everything is made with love and care! Arrived here in on a Saturday and it was fairly busy, i love the pink decor theme. Enjoyed an iced caramel latte and plain croissant which was served fresh from the oven! The ambiance is warm and friendly, would definitely recommend. Thank you for being a blessing to the neighborhood!

Yelp
Visited in December and I definitely see why this has become a neighborhood favorite. The space is inviting, has ample seating and a book nook. Nice touch. I love the variety of options as well as the presentation of the baked goods. I ultimately went with the Caramel Latte Croissant (coffee infused Croissant filled with caramel créme); Iced Red Velvet Latte; and the Seasonal Fruit Tart. I was thoroughly impressed with the latte and the croissant. Loved that it wasn't overly sweet. Other items I wanted to try were the quiche, jalapeño cheddar biscuit, white chocolate Cranberry cookie and the everything Croissant. When I was there I could see a few crowd favorites as people were ordering. Be sure to stop on the weekend to try her specialty croissants and egg nog Cheesecake. Please note that she also has gluten-free items available. If you like this review and want to see the visuals of my visit, check out @iFancyNY on Instagram.

Yelp
The pastries I have tried are delicious. My review focuses on the owner's interpersonal skills. I have supported this business at least 5 times. Each time, I arrive before the business opens or just as they have opened. I drive 2-hours from Pennsylvania to support this business. I find the owner lacks soft skills. On one visit, another woman and myself were outside waiting for the business to open. When the owner came out to raise the gate, she never greeted us, at all. I would expect a good morning, at least. Today (1/25/25), again I am outside waiting for the business to open. When they opened their doors, I walked in and said, good morning. The owner, sitting at the desk on her phone, never responded. Okay, maybe she was just focused on what she was doing. After leaving the store, I called the owner and I was so shocked at her response. See conversation below. Me: Hello, good morning. May I speak with the owner, please? Individual: How may I help you? Me: I would like to speak with the owner, please? Individual: How may I help you? Me: You can help me by telling me if you are the owner or allowing me to speak with the owner, please. Individual: I am the owner. Me (To myself): Why didn't she just say, this is the owner, how may I help you? Me (To owner): I love your business and pastries. I proceeded tell her about my experiences (above) and that she should greet her customers. The owner laughed on the phone. She made sure I heard her laughing so that I know that she does not value my advice. Today is the last day I will visit the business.

Yelp
This patisserie has both Style & Substance. So so good It's so cute inside. I must admit, I've been in other cafes or bakeries where the charming decor leads to an "okay" experience with their treats. Je T'aime Patisserie has EXCELLENT bakes, a charismatic owner Jatee and a dedicated team. I saw this place on TikTok, wanted to support Brooklyn's First Black Patisserie owner and headed there on a Saturday morning. I got the Red Velvet Latte w/ almond milk and a specialty croissant. The latte was steaming hot, and had the notes of a really nice, complex red velvet cake without being artificial. The Specialty Croissant was the best dessert I've tried in a long time. The filling inside was so velvety smooth, and the berries were fresh + tart. I've honestly been thinking about it since. Definitely check out this Patisserie!

Yelp
I woke up HUNGRY. I almost never do and I'm grateful that I live in a place where I can find a BLACK OWNED, BLACK GIRL magic bakery! The pastries were delicious! We had the raisin pain au, scrambled eggs croissant and the focaccia bread. All of it was bangin with my favorite being the raisin pastry, which was a recommendation from the cashier. The service felt like home. Like I popped into my cousins house because she told me to come over for some sweets. Even the other customers coming in were cool, we chatted this one family up with the cutest kids and they raved about the pull apart bread. Definitely will be back here to try something new. They also are a participant of "Too Good To Go" and I definitely will be nabbing some goodies from there. Go here!!!

Yelp
I ordered the apple pastry, tomato something and a chocolate croissant .... I didn't like any of them honestly... i feel like I came on an off day for some reason. I look forward to trying it again maybe on the weekend
google avatar

Clari B.

Yelp
Light and simple but deliciously decadent treats. I wanted to wait and review once I had a few more goodies but seeing as it closes so early this may be the only time I get to try them. I finally made it in and had a hankering for something warm. Although there weren't many options I found two drool worthy treats to scarf down. Both the croissant and danish were filled with delightful amount of filling (why would anyone ever complain about too much filling!!?). Normally croissant have a measly pinch of filling making them unworthy for purchasing but not these bad boys. The danish could have been a bit more sturdy but I loved the flakiness and onions! I'd also like a bit more greens on it and a different filing from the everything filling but yum nonetheless. Overall might be worth getting a late start to the day. Hopefully the hours get extended for all who are out and about later in the evenings. I can't wait to try something sweet and everything else they create.
google avatar

Amira A.

Yelp
BOYYYY when I tell you I had a hot, fresh almond croissant... it was cut in half and the ceiling of that croissant was slipping and sliding from the almond paste being viscous. That damn croissant ain't see what was coming. Never made it off the block. Instant vacuum. The coffee I wasn't a fan of but I need more of those pastries. The display was practically empty by the time I arrived which was around noon lol. This was back in May so I know she picked up more traction since then.
google avatar

Olivia N.

Yelp
Overall rating: 4.5 I found this place through my go-to TikTok. I liked how it's locally owned & offered a variety of things. The owner was very sweet and I loved the decor. Unfortunately I arrived around 4:15pm on a Sunday & everything was sold out by that time. I ended up getting a red velvet latte but I wasn't a fan. It just tasted like a latte that happened to be pink. It was very sweet though! I hope to come again at an earlier time but it's a bit of a commute for me.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to visit here before it blew up on the internet so when I went on a quiet Friday morning they had a lot of baked goods in stock. I went with the egg & cheese croissant and the "pull bread." Both were baked to perfection and tasted really good! The pull bread was my favorite and my coworkers who tried it enjoyed it as well. There was only the owner working at the time I went but she was super friendly and got me in and out fast. I also tried an iced latte but it wasn't my favorite so I'll probably just stick to pastries. Love that her business has since blown up because she deserves it! You all should check out this shop!
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
Fantastic! Both the savory and sweet pastries were delicious and well-crafted, and the latte I ordered was what I wish every pumpkin spice latte tasted like. Actual pumpkin flavor, slightly sweet but not too sweet, and really good coffee under all that.
google avatar

Moe S.

Yelp
One time went in & ordered the egg salad it was really good. The cashier is always nice & hospitable (older guy). I've been a few times & the coffee leaves something to be desired especially for price. The red velvet latte is cool but the grinder coffee bean is always at the bottom of the cup. Ordered a caramel latte and the guy (different younger guy) took long to make my coffee and I think the caramel was frozen and he put it in an iced drink safe to say it didn't melt and the coffee was nasty, ended up throwing it away.

Yelp
This is an adorable bakery and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I have found myself grabbing a cup of coffee and a pastry and catching up on emails to breakup my day. The staff is always greets you with a smile and a hello.

Yelp
So traveling with friends on our annual girls trip. We stop in to enjoy some pastries and coffee as breakfast. This place is clean and the smell of cleaning agents took over so I didn't get the fresh baked pastry smell I was deeply anticipating. It was early and the pastries were not restocked as of yet so we contemplated on what we wanted based on what we saw. I got a cinnamon roll and asked for it to be warmed a lil bit, it wasn't freshly baked and I really wished it was. Well she warmed it to much and it was hard to it. Ditto for the danish my sister ate. For me I was disappointed , it wasn't what I would've like it to be but Im glad I supported because they support the community. So go and support and hopefully have a better experience .

Yelp
Have you EVER tried something so good that you had to immediately call a friend and tell them to try because it was just too good to keep a secret? This is one of those moments. My friend texted me earlier one Saturday morning, saying he had something he wanted me to try. I had no idea he'd pop up at my door 30 mins later with two beautiful pastries from Je T'aime Patisserie. One was a sausage croissant, and the other was a goat cheese, onion, and mushroom danish. Knowing how picky I am about food, my friend was confident that I'd enjoy his selection. He waited in anticipation as I bit into the Danish. I smiled on the first bite and then shook my head as I bit into it again. At this point, he's convinced that I'm enjoying it because I'm smiling, shaking my head, and eating in silence. Guys, it was a bite out of heaven! The chef made these pastries with love. There is no doubt about it. It was absolutely delectable! The sausage croissant was also a winner. The sausage was flavorful and seemed to me made from scratch. Though I haven't visited the shop before so I can'tspeak on the ambiance, I will be visiting very soon. I have to meet the chef and shake her hand for an incredible job. I wish the chef and her shop much success! *Bonus: Black Owned, woman owned business.

Yelp
Ordered an iced caramel latte and was not able to drink it, unfortunately. I tried to mix it to see if that would help and scooped this out from the bottom. Not sure if the caramel they gave was expired or still good, but I couldn't swallow this & have never had this texture in a iced coffee. I was sad that I wasted $$ as I l've liked their pastries before.

Yelp
Jaz took care of us!!!! I rode the wave and was blown away! This delectable pastry is literally the equivalent of an edible orgasm. We sat, we indulged, we conversed. A time was had!

Yelp
I recommend getting here early. Thankfully, I arrived at a decent time and managed to get the au raisin. I enjoyed every bite! I recommend asking for them to warm this up for you. This is just a preference. I also tried their croissant and you can't go wrong with that at all! I also had their ice coffee and I was a big fan! This was yummy. My entire little pick me up meal. The space is also pretty spacious, bright and definitely a place I plan to visit again!

Yelp
The food was AMAZING. But the atmosphere was even better with my best friends on our New York trip. Thank you for a truly beautiful experience.

Yelp
I wandered into this gorgeous bakery an hour and a half before closing on a Sunday and I'm so happy I did. The owner was still there when I arrived and took the time to explain all of the beautiful pastries and their creation to me. All pastries are baked in house from the brioche to the croissants to the macarons and the presentation is very high end and perfect for a gift. They're almost too pretty to eat I got an array of items because I couldn't choose. The two favorites for me were the je taime, which is a pink heart shaped mousse with pistachio cake and strawberry jam, and the bacon egg and cheese turnover. An honorable mention to the everything croissant with cream cheese stuffed inside. The cream cheese was super light and whipped in texture as to not overpower the delicacy of the croissant. I also tried the flower, the tropics, a couple macarons, a fruit danish, a pineapple rhum baba, a fruit tart, a salted chocolate chip cookie, ham and cheese croissant, and a mint lemonade. Everything looked so good, i could not resist and tasted just as good as they look. They were handcrafted pieces of perfection and I can't wait to go back. Its such a cute spot to grab a coffee and a treat and there's enough seating to catch up with a friend or work on a project. Try to get there early though because the after church group will snatch all the goodies on a Sunday

Yelp
Amazing food, service and ambiance! The owner is a lovely human and I go here often. As much as I'd like to covet this place as my little secret, that would be a disservice to everything they do here. Whatever you get is going to be unforgettable but do yourself a favor, wash it all down with their lemonade and thank me later.

Diana A.

Yelp
Have been here a couple times to support a black owned business. However, everytime I went, the quality of the food kept declining with the last time just absolutely disgusting and the reason for the review. Usually get the olive oil cake slices and this last time, they were super dry, burnt and there was an eyelash hair and lint on the frosting of an olive oil cake slice. I immediately threw away the slices. The workers are nice but look overworked, demoralized and tired all the time. The decor of the business itself needs to be redone because the place looks like it's falling apart. Also, the owner does not have good customer service skills. Everytime I go in and see her, I greet her and say good morning and she ignores me everytime like she's annoyed to be there and service customers. Never going back again. Other better cafes in the area.

Yelp
Service and my croissant was excellent!!! Will definitely go back again. The owner is there serving up the sweets and I love that.

Yelp
Hey there, listen up! I may not be a newbie when it comes to food, you hear me, not a total IDIOT! I've been a foodie for ages and I sure as heck appreciate some good old hard work in the kitchen. Now, let's dive into this review, shall we? Not only is her kitchen spotless, roomy, and drop-dead gorgeous, but that Turkey sausage roll... oh boy, even for someone who's not usually into Turkey sausage, it was absolutely divine! And let's not forget about her fruit tart - just the perfect balance of pastry and fruit. Tinka is the bomb - so warm and welcoming. Some of the best service I've ever experienced in Brooklyn, and let me tell you, I'm a true blue New Yorker through and through. I'm no social media influencer who's all about the likes - you can trust and believe me on that one. Anyway, I give this place a whopping 100 stars! Big shoutout to the owner - she really knocked it out of the park with her cooking, and you can definitely taste the love she puts into it. We share the same birthday how amazing is that nation Signed gingercooksnyc

Yelp
Very pleasant service. Unfortunately by the time we got there around 2pm on a Saturday they were sold out! Are finding out we'd traveled from New Jersey, they did scrounge up a plain croissant which was buttery and delicious. Due to the high demand, purchases are limited to 2 a person. I recommend going first thing in the morning to get the best selection. Both owner and employee were profusely apologetic for our experience, but we told them what a wonderful problem it was to have and we wish them continued success.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this bakery after seeing it spotlighted on social media and hearing the owner's mission and message. I ordered two almond croissants and asked that they be warmed up. Unfortunately, they were really hard and borderline burnt/inedible. I asked for new ones, and the cashier graciously replaced them. Our 2nd order was still over cooked, but a little less so than the first. I would certainly try again since the employees were kind and the flavor of the filling was delicious, but I was disappointed. I expected a taste of Paris in Brooklyn, and it did not deliver. Maybe it was just a bad batch.

Yelp
This Bakery is located in Bedstuy and has been open for 3 days. I want to start with the interior ambiance of this place. It was absolutely beautiful inside. It gives you romantic vibes. Great place for the ladies to have a treat and even better for couples to stop by and have a coffee accompanied by a beautiful pastry. If you are taking a walk through the neighborhood, make sure you stop in to take it all in and enjoy. Dogs are allowed and outdoor seating is offered albeit in limited space. I felt spoiled and as if I was treating myself. I also treated my colleagues to some of the beautiful pastries and I was a hero for the morning. Show your support to a female entrepreneur that is also adding to the beauty of our neighborhood.

Yelp
Been about 4 times, the food is decent but go early in the day I'd say for best experience. I've tried ordering here but they seem a little busy. Kinda long wait times with a mix of being ignored when asking about products & the product not paying off.

Yelp
Must try! The goal is to try almost everything on the menu. I had the jalapeño biscuit and it was amazing and a cookie. The ladies in the shop was very welcoming and upbeat. I love that for them compared to other black owned stores in the neighborhood. Top tier service and food. Try them out! Next time I'll post pics of my food.

Yelp
Can I just say that the key lime donut tart thingy I bought was delightful ...Also the Ham & Cheese specialty Croissant was decadent. I also bought 2 or 3 other pastries, but ALL were delicious.

Yelp
So I saw a post about this place on social media a day before & was really impressed. Got up Sunday & called after 10 am to find out if they were opened & if they took reservation. They said they were opened & no reservation needed. Now We had already planned to go to Prince Tea House but I told my wife that we were going to check out this place , it black & woman owned & the reviews, videos & photos looked great. I drive all the way from Jersey City to Bedstuy & get there at 2pm & the shutters were drawn & a sign saying "Closed, We Ran out, See you on Wed!" WTF! Cartoon amateur business. Ended up driving back to Manhattan & going to The Smith.

Yelp
What you don't do is roll your eyes after asking me questions ... the women with the squeaky voice and bad body language approach. It's just not for my money.. And that ends my weekly journey to this spot .. these days we got options and I don't have to waste gas just to support .. The guy that makes the coffee is alwayssss welcoming ! The 1 start is for the customer service and bad customer service makes product bad. Ps it's always be good but for me one bad experience and I'm out !

Yelp
Saw advertisement on Tiktok decided to visit today (4/19/24).Ordered fresh croissant & red velvet latte . I was pleased with the order. The owner & staff were very pleasant . There was a wait the owner said this was the most costumers she has had. I'm glad that business is booming for her .Much success to the owner & operator. Please support black ownerbusinesses.

Yelp
This business is a welcome asset to the community. It was a joy to be able to purchase pastries without having to travel a great distance. The business owner, Jaytee , was very personable and pleasant to do business with. Her positive attitude and energy were very pleasant. Her employees were very positive and energetic.;They were very customer friendly. The food is delicious and fresh. The business is clean and inviting. The decor is bright and colorful. When you walk into the business it feels like you have stepped into a new world. The seating area is open and spacious. I will definitely purchase from this business again. The business is located on Marcus Garvey Boulevard between Decatur Street and Fulton Street. It is a short walk from the A train at the Kingston and Throop Train Station.
