"Je t’aime Patisserie in Bed-Stuy gained a cult following for its inventive croissants—think red velvet croissants with cream cheese frosting filling, or a piña colada croissant with actual rum incorporated. You can only get those specialties on the weekends, but even on a Tuesday, the pastry case is full to the brim with cinnamon buns, focaccia, and a handheld creme brûlée tart that the person taking orders might recommend, because she just finished making them and it's a good batch.
