I arrived in Denver very late in the evening. Looking forward to a restaurant still open my son brought me here. I was surprised the place was busy. The Servers were very nice, warm and friendly. Since we were hungry my son and I each ordered an entree. I ordered the Sheesh Ta’ouk while my son ordered the Kallayah entree. The servings were big. It was fresh and delicious. My son’s plate were wiped it as well. The ingredients were fresh.

Google
Been to this place a ton of times and their food is always awesome. Got their beef and lamb wraps last night - good amount of gyro meat, tatziki is creamy and goes so well with the meat. We also got their hummus which was bomb! Wouldn't recommend their fries though- a bit dry and not much flavor.

Just got out of ER falling off icy rock on Flat Iron. With blood and wound on my face, this is my first real meal. 1. Worker there was very caring and asked me if I am okay when I entered the restaurant, getting me water before I even sat down 2. It was cold late night at 12am, they let us sit in the balcony with heat lamp and covered with clear canvas to block wind. Temperature is just right. And people speaking different languages are all enjoying the time together. Very lively. Reminds me of a warm tavern. 3. Love the food, especially gyro, steak, and the sausage-shaped meat in the photo which I don’t remember the name. Also the rice. The pocket bread thing is good too. Oh yes and desert. I needed it after a bad day. Thanks. Will be back.

Google
Excellent service, super nice. And very good and authentic middle Eastern food. Delicious desserts too.

Google
Cute place and really good Middle Eastern food. We tried their Vegetarian combo, falafel sandwich, Meat Combo, Sambusa, bhaklava and bird’s nest. Everything was delicious. Very fresh food.

Google
Just spent $50 on pickup order. By the time I got home (~5minutes) my sandwiches completely unraveling inside the wrapping paper. I got stale pita, and one piece of chicken kabob. I used to come here when I went to DU. And the only reason this place is still going, is because they are open late in a college town. Unacceptable food for the price

Google
It feels like heaven on earth, my mother turned me on to this from when she was in university and we have been going here ever since. I recently took my partner and mother for the first time and it was as good as usual. The pricing is insanely amazing, my partner and I are not flush with money but we can enjoy a meal and dessert for under 50 bucks easy. The food is filling but doesn’t feel heavy and there always seems to be an open spot to sit even though it always seems packed. The staff are incredibly nice, the place is on the smaller side but the tables are spaced well and you never feel like you are in someone else’s way. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Google
Absolutely loved my visit here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentically Middle Eastern. The hummus and falafel were spot on, and the portions were very generous for the price. The staff was super friendly and made the experience even better. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal with friends or family. Highly recommend this place—definitely coming back!

Yelp
Jerusalem Restaurant is my go to spot for a comforting meal. The restaurant itself is quite small but they have done well with what space that they have. The service here is always incredible. This last time we went our food was at our table in less than 10 minutes from ordering. My go to dish is the Lamb + Beef Gyro plate. The rice is super delicious and I love the tzatziki sauce that you can order on the side. My husband went outside of his Meat Platter order this last time and found his new dish of choice. He ordered the Lamb Shank and this was seriously the best lamb I have ever tasted. We will always come back to this restaurant, it has become a staple in our household. I also highly recommend eating in the restaurant. The patio upstairs is our favorite spot, but the food is best when eaten at the restaurant.

Yelp
I've been here once for dinner and really didn't like the food. It's over hyped and just not worth the price. BUT THEIR BROWNIES THOUGH!! I was craving a slice of cake or a brownie one night and I remembered they had pastries. Best brownie I've had in a very very long time. The cake is okay.

Yelp
It's been a while since I made a visit to Jerusalem's.... 10 plus years. Not a lot has changed. Food was great, decent portions and tasty. Service was quick and friendly as well. Happy they have stood the stand of time.

Yelp
Located right across from the University of Denver, Jerusalem Restaurant was a shabby but awesome place for affordable, flavorful, generously-portioned Middle Eastern food. The Combination "Super Dish" was the perfect plate to order for a sampling of nearly everything on their menu, including creamy, tahini-rich hummus, tabbouleh, fatouch (chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers), two falafels, one dolma, beef sheesh kabob, chicken kabob, sheesh kifta (ground meat kabob), and thick slices of beef/lamb gyro. The falafels had a hard, crunchy shell and were (uniquely) spiced with cinnamon. The beef kebob was tough and chewy, but all the other meats were tender and flavorful--my favorite was the gyros for its salty flavor, which went nicely with the refreshing, acidic tabbouleh and fatouch. All the components came together nicely and paired with the rounds of thin pita bread on the side. Overall, the quality and portions here were a steal for the affordable prices, and the service was super friendly too!

Yelp
My son and I had lunch here with my dad and brother last weekend. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating towards my toddler. They don't have a kids menu, which would have been nice as the portions are way too big for a 3 year old who wanted meat. I hadn't visited in about forever and wanted my long time favorite (sober) order: vegetarian platter with well done fries. (Late night I always went a chicken shawarma) with well done fries. My platter was delicious as always but I definitely noticed that it was much smaller than it used to be, and they only gave us 3 pitas for the table (my brother got the meat platter). My son got a cupcake for dessert (not ready for the joys of baklava i guess). The cupcake was surprisingly tasty- nice and moist.

Yelp
I am from Louisiana and love to find a late night restaurant/ bakery. I called ahead to set my reservation for a party of three; there was plenty of parking. When we entered the establishment there were many college students enjoying fresh baklava and Kulage; I ordered both phenomenal desserts Togo. Everyone's favorite appetizer is the Sambusa. It is a fried pastry filled with savory potatoes, lentils, peas, and onions, Yummy! I was pleased to finally enjoy some extra sweet-tea; most restaurants I've visited in the area only serve unsweetened. Each entree here is fully authentic. The hummus and pita bread is delightful. I am glad my server suggested the Super Dish entree; the combination "super dish" is an array of specialty dishes Sheesh kabob, Chicken kabob, Sheesn Kifta, Lamb Gyros. Paired with hummus baba Ghanouj, fatouch, Tabbouleh, Falafel and grape leaves. I loved this grand mouthwatering dish. My friend enjoyed the Beef & Lamb Gyros. He said it was very tender. The chef formulated the perfect dish. It was tender, juicy, succulent Lamb Shanks. My husband devoured his Lamb Shanks. Thank you for a wonderful dinner date. I encourage you to check out my photos.

Yelp
A little bit of everything all in one plate! Several different kinds of meat, hummus, rice and tabbouleh!! Honestly, I feel all of the meat was a little dry. The sides... phenomenal! This is a denver staple for a reason!

Yelp
Jerusalem's has long been known for its consistently amazing and flavorful cuisine. However, I've recently noticed a decline in value, as the portion sizes no longer justify the prices. Furthermore, on several recent occasions, the dishes lacked the freshness I've come to expect, raising concerns that they might have been leftovers from the previous day.
google avatar

Yelp
Waitstaff were great. Food was average. A bit flavorless. After reading the reviews I was prepared to be blown away but wasn't. Atmosphere is college level cleanliness and a bit sticky all around. Prices were a surprisingly high for a place that could use a good scrubbing and new floor tile.

Jessi H.

Yelp
Ordered through Ubereats. Saw some negative reviews but was craving this certain dish so I decided to give it a try. The pita was cold and hard. This is the $1 sauce side. I would have ordered more if it was advertised as 1oz. Chicken kebab dish is very dry. Order extra sauces if you decide to eat here.

Max M.

Yelp
I hope the food is the same for my DU college days ... because the DoorDash I just received was either garbage with entries with no Pita and lamb instead of chicken..... or they came from elsewhere?? I would encourage pick up or eat in because delivery was totally off.

Yelp
I don't know how to put it. I thought this restaurant was voted for the best Middle Eastern restaurant for so many times in the past. I actually experienced it myself back in 2019(ish). However, when I made a stop there the past Sunday to pick up a few items (such as baba ghanouj, sambusa and kullage, everything was mediocre at its best; I wasn't impressed. Baba Ghanouj: this was simply and mostly yogurt-y. I simply tasted yogurt and that was it. I didn't taste that typical smokiness that's common in baba ghanouj in it at all. It was quite disappointing. Sambusa: this was the most decent out of all three but it was nothing impressive; it was okay. Kullage: this was bland. The best way to put it was I don't even know what it was trying to be. Maybe I should have gotten me a baklava to be safe. Service was decent. The young man at the counter was pleasant to me. He took my name for the order. The main register's credit card machine wasn't working so he kindly asked me to go upstairs to the tri-level floor to make the payment. This was no problem. My food came out of the kitchen pretty fast so the wait time was quite short. The dining area (patio to the right, indoor and semi-outdoor to the left) seemed to be clean enough.

Yelp
Stopped on a whim, there was Aline out the door so figured it had to be good. I had the combo plate. Was very good, a little on the dry side. But over all Would eat it again. Quit service and the price wasn't bad

Great baklava, chicken shawarma is delicious and tahini is amazing! Nice patio for events

Yelp
This little hole-in-the-wall spot on the western edge of the DU campus is a Denver institution. Thirty years ago when I moved to Denver it was just about the only Middle Eastern restaurant in town. I thought it was great. It also stayed open until the early hours of the morning and was the perfect spot to satisfy a late night craving. These days there are several Middle Eastern fast food chains and there seems to be a Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, or Israeli restaurant on every corner. Jerusalem is still going strong and is still the best with great food, quick service, and very reasonable prices. The pandemic forced a big cutback in their hours, but they have recently resumed opening until 4:00 a.m. on weekdays and until 5:00 a.m. on weekends. This is the perfect spot for a delicious late night snack. The menu is extensive and every item is fresh and delicious. I particularly like the beef and lamb gyros. The salads and dips are very, very good. There is also a case at the front counter packed with authentic desserts. The restaurant itself is very small; however, there's a covered patio on the west side of the building, uncovered seating in front of the entrance, and another elevated, covered seating area on the east side. Jerusalem also does a constant stream of take-out and delivery orders. Trying to find a parking spot near DU is tough. Fortunately Jerusalem has its own parking lot which is a big help. The owners have chosen to save money on a fancy building or elaborate decor, but don't let the humble surroundings fool you. The food is terrific and the prices are great.

Yelp
Jerusalem's is a Colorado staple, if you haven't been there can you even call yourself a true Coloradan?? I've always loved this place since I was a kid, it's a tiny restaurant but packs great flavors. My go to order is the lamb and beef gyros, they flavor is always on point and the taziki is the perfect addition of flavor. The portion size is perfect on any dish you get here. I also get there baklava and it's one of my favorites in town. Service is always great, it does usually take some time to get your food but it's worth the wait. You should definitely add this restaurant to your list especially if you want to be a true Coloradan!

Yelp
I came here because I was doing doordash and when I saw those pastries I fell in love and I grabbed some goodies. The place is small but they have tables and chairs outside. They have varieties of sweets including cakes and their famous Baklava. The one I grabbed is called Chocolate Bird Nest and the other one I forgot the name BUT it has creme on the inside. They tasted a little bit of oil but I didn't mind it at all. To the point that I am planning to go again and grab some. The service was excelente and the ambiance as well. I need to go back to grab some food and sweet. If you are around the area please pass by and grab some. 10/10

Yelp
Absolutely delightful! Jerusalem Restaurant has been serving up incredible food for 45 years, and it's clear they've perfected their craft. It's like their falafel has been blessed by the hummus gods themselves. I walked in, and it felt like stepping into a delicious time machine. The decor might not have changed much in 45 years, but who needs fancy when the food is this good? I'm convinced the secret to their longevity is hiding in their garlic sauce - one taste and you'll understand why they've been around for nearly half a century. The staff? They treat you like family - the kind you actually want to spend holidays with. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for? Stop reading this review and get yourself to Jerusalem Restaurant. Your taste buds will thank you, and you'll be planning your next visit before you finish your first bite.

Yelp
This place just has amazing food. Seating is a little tight inside but they have outdoor seating as well. Open very late and a DU area staple.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
We have eaten here in that past and enjoyed our experience. Parking can be a little tight. And the establishment seems to stay busy with customers. The customer service was friendly. Beautiful ambiance inside. We ordered our meals Togo. We were disappointed with our chicken wraps when we got home. They fell apart when we attempted to eat them. It was frustrating because we had higher expectations for our food. I'm guessing next time it will be better. Most like we will be back for more in the future.
google avatar

Harlee S.

Yelp
A busy little spot near the University, but they have a great turn around time. There are literally only about six tables inside and they are crammed in the space. If there aren't any spots left, there is an outside shaded patio. The service was friendly and the kids were nice, but they seemed a little scattered. As for the food, the menu is traditional, but the final product could be better. I mean, yeah the food was good, but nothing spectacular and little cold. Dessert galore. That dessert display will test you. We just had to try a piece of the strawberry tres leches cake and it was sweet goodness. The prices are very reasonable and this is a great spot to order take out if you're in a hurry or wanting to eat at home.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing! Reminds me of the delis I used to go to while growing up in Philadelphia but on steroids! This is a mom and pop shop with a small restaurant and deli on the side. The menu is amazing and has a large variety for such a small restaurant. I had the lamb shank special, which is made daily and sold until gone. It usually doesn't last he day. If you love lamb or have yet to try it this is the place to go. They cook it all day long so it literally falls off the bone. This is a local favorite, so if you want it, go early in the day and order right away. The service was top notch and we were never lacking for anything. The ambiance is great with views of the nearby neighborhood so you can people watch while chowing down. Definitely a restaurant to try if you're looking for somehting new!
google avatar

Adam L.

Yelp
JERU is still popping out hot dishes which are super fresh. They have the best humus and sitting inside out side is nice. The cooks and waitstaff are very friendly. As long as I'm in Denver this place will get my business
google avatar

Joe S.

Yelp
I last lived in Denver almost 15 years ago, and this place was one of my top fives for delicious food at a good price at almost all hours of the day and night. Happy to see they are still around! It's small, it's run down, but the folks are nice and the food still rocks. A few cozy tables inside and patio seating outside, which I fully enjoyed on a spring day. My favorite tabbouleh, ever, and I've lived all over the country - it's mostly greens with just the right amount of creamy/chewy cracked wheat, onion, tomato, and a religious amount of lemon juice. Beef shawarma pita was also noms. Amazingly, the price doesn't seem too far off from what I recall either.
google avatar

Adam S.

Yelp
This place was severely underwhelming. Ordered via Uber eats and the food was bland. The chicken was overcooked, the peta bread was stale. All in all, we will not order from here again. I'd suggest looking elsewhere for Mediterranean food.
google avatar

Souzana V.

Yelp
After dropping a gift off to a friend, I decided to hop on down to this place. Mediterranean was itching my palate. I was tasting the delicious baklava in my mouth driving there. Lol Got there about 11:30ish on a Saturday. No one was there, which was good, so I can take my time. My timing was perfect before the rush. I noticed that they have done some updates to the restaurant. I did a takeout order. I ordered 2 sambusas, 2 pieces of baklava (would really have liked 6 pieces, lol), and the lamb beef gyro sandwich. FYI, I did not eat everything, even though I was hungry. Lol When I got home, I had the gyro, 1 sambusa, and 1 baklava. Gosh, the food was delicious. I just didn't care for the pita. It didn't taste very fresh, so I tore and kept the soft pieces of the pita. I ended cutting up the stuffings of my gyro sandwich and turned it into a salad instead with the little bits of soft pita bread. Sambusa was scrumptious and flavorful! I then made myself one very large cup of hot green tea to have with the baklava. Mmmmm....that combination hit my sweet palate and I was very happy savoring the baklava down into my tummy! This place have been here for as long as I can remember. Very small place, but worth the good food. Place is casual. This place is always busy. Come check it out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Food was Uber good and very yummy. Good fries and steak sandwich and chicken sandwich and good service. Our waiter was cute af. The ambiance was lit as well. Swell time in general

Yelp
Can never go wrong here, falafel is perfect and their desserts are amazing! Love that it is always open late.
google avatar

Tom L.

Yelp
The most delicious and authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in Colorado! The falafel is always fresh and delicious, they make the perfect appetizer. The chicken gyro is another one of my go to dishes here. The chicken has amazing flavor and is always cooked to perfection. I have a sweet tooth, so I always like to end the meal with some baklava. The staff here is so kind. Every time I come here I'm treated like family. They are beautiful people and I can't wait to come back.

Isaac Q.

Yelp
best food! Best service! But the person by was coughing and sneezing on us idk if it was on purpose or on accident.

Yelp
Jerusalem Restaurant is a Denver institution. In business since the 1970s, there's no doubt they know their place in the restaurant world. Open until midnight and catering to the nearby DU crowd, this Evans Ave. staple is still operating at full speed. First impressions: +Crowded for a Sunday night around 9:30pm. +Most customers sitting outside on the [multiple] patios. +Tons of call ahead and to-go orders. +Young, college demographic. +Pastry case full, lots of line cooks, phone ringing off the hook. I have this strange love affair with businesses that are open late. Something about eating when it's pitch black outside brings out a different crowd and overall vibe. I ordered at the counter, since they seemed to be down a few servers. Placed my order for a falafel pita, grape leaves and baklava. All for around $20 with tip, the food came out in less than 10 minutes. Though packaged to go, plus enough seating, I decided to scarf down my pita real quick. in all honesty, the pita was just okay. It was too saucy for my taste and seemed like it was just blindly thrown together. The falafels themselves were fine, with average flavor. But then when I scooted home and finished my meal, I was impressed! The baklava was sweet and flaky and sticky just how I like it. I'm a dolmades eating fool, and these were excellent. They come with a side sauce that is great for dipping, but to the credit to the preparation of the grape leaves, it wasn't even necessary. Both of these were mighty fine! Sometimes places are more than just food. And I picked up on that as soon as I walked in. There's a sense of community here, and the people that come here seem like weekly regulars. I will definitely come back here and continue the Denver legacy.
google avatar

Melissa A.

Yelp
it says something when i take my friends from outta town and they wanna go back. love the baklava. love how late they're open. love how fast takeout is! love love love.
google avatar

Tana G.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. Above and beyond service from ordering to the chef skills to the delivery to the amazing people ticking the machines behind this establishment, I thank you. Highly recommend above and beyond
google avatar

Nick W.

Yelp
We ordered take out the other night because we'd heard nothing but great things. Jerusalem is the real deal. The gyros were phenomenal! We each got one, it was fresh. The veggies were tasty. The side of fries were crispy and hot. Everything was great. I only popped in to grab my order, but everyone was friendly. They made sure my food was hot and ready to go. It's a small little spot right outside of DU. Not a lot of parking, but it's cute and local. If you want a quick, tasty middle eastern bite to eat, definitely stop by.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants - and definitely my favorite in the price range! Over the past 25 years, I have eaten here at least 500 times. But recently new employees keep messing up my order and not acting very professional. I hope the ownership can do something about this decline.
google avatar

Rey D.

Yelp
A friend I talked about how ratings for yelp are hard to differentiate places that should actually stand out since there's a running 4.0 average in most places. Then comes this place. Yes it feels questionable for 3.5 starts, yet over a thousand people have left a rating here? Interpret that how you will The chicken shawarma got me excited as it mentioned being cooked on a rotisserie, similar to one of my favorite spots elsewhere, and covered in tzatziki sauce. Two things that normally combat my dislike for dry chicken. Unfortunately, dry chicken is what I experienced. Would try their gyro next time. Desserts hits you in the face as soon as you walk in (display case) and they similarly hit your palate with as much pizzaz. The two little burrito things in my picture are kullage and have some sort of custard filling. There was something chocolate that was in a nest shape. Last is the baklava, which had an awesome cookie-texture crust with bits of what tasted like cinnamon. All the desserts were straight hitters. What really attracts my affordable-oriented mind is the fact that most (if not all) desserts were less than $5. Now that would keep me coming back if I was in the area.

Yelp
First time trying a Mediterranean restaurant and WOW. This place is a little hole in the wall restaurant right near DU but don't let it fool you, it's delicious. Extensive menu and great service. Its was pretty busy in there and we were in and seated within 2 minutes. I had a few questions about the menu that my more experienced party could not answer and the waiter did a great job at explaining. The food came out quick too.We all got a mix of food from Gyros, Kabobs, and Shawarma. We all loved it. We also ordered the Baklava and got two free. For 4 people with entrees, deserts, and drinks it was reasonably priced. Parking around DU can be a nightmare but they have their own parking lot and even with the place being busy, there were spots. My one suggestion is to not let the look fool you, this place was delicious!

Harm R.

Yelp
Update: Alright. Updated cus my friend who was with me texted me jn the am and said that baklava was so hard he couldn't eat it. Llet me tell you how to get good food here because it doesn't just come easy. If you're ordering pita and hummus to go, ask them to put fresh pita in the bag otherwise you're going to get day old pita that is broken and stale, and crumbling. Also, if you want baklava, make sure you specify that you want baklava from the case because if you don't get baklava from the case, you're going to get the baklava that has been sitting on the counter prepackaged. Think about it like this: anything that you can ask for fresh, ask for it. I know they use old pita not only cus it crumbled in my hand but because when we were waiting for our food, I heard a table say that they were waiting for pita and the waiter said oh yes, we're waiting for it to come out. Well, I don't know what I got in my bag, but it sure wasn't what just came out.

Yelp
The only negative I have is, and a very slight negative at that, is it can be noisy and crowded. Now we got that out of the way the food was fantastic, the rice was to die for. The service was excellent, and the pricing was very good. It is a little hole in the wall/mom and pop joint, which works for us very well and most of all the food was good we got the chicken Shawarma, which was really good, and the hummus was smooth and creamy as you expected it to be. We will definitely go there multiple times. It's well worth finding them and enjoying their food.

Chedderz B.

Yelp
I had such high hopes for this place, then they go and put fries and rice in a shawarmah. Who on Gods green earth does that? its impossible to eat, ruins the shawarmah and they blame it on Uber eats? Terrible, borderline worst money I've ever spent on food and I feel dirty for even trying to consume it. I will never return here.
google avatar

Danny B.

Yelp
I would love to give this 5 stars but the accommodation factor takes away from that. Everything else, spot on. The food was amazing, not usually a fan of lamb but they seasoned it to perfection. All the meats were tender and juicy, the rice was simple but so savory. Service was good considering it was completely packed on a cold Saturday with the already small waiting area completely occupied with people waiting on tables, this proved to be quite challenging for customers and staff. Desserts were also quite sumptuous. Absolutely no issues with the food, service or staff but if you intend on dining in be prepared to wait a bit (normal for most restaurants) really close seating accommodation, too crowded for my liking. Calling ahead might make sense if you live close by but not practical if you don't, place fills up in minutes! Will definitely revisit but probably on a weekday!
google avatar

Melissa W.

Yelp
The food is made fresh, perfectly spiced, and very reasonably priced. I don't know what it is about the rice that makes it so good, maybe the saffron, but it will leave you craving it! The sambusas have delightfully crispy edges and are generously stuffed with potatoes, peas, and whatever other magic was crammed in. Don't miss this place!

Yelp
Jerusalem or J-ruz is not too authentic but they do have things on the menu that are authentic. The setting looks like circus drapes but it looks good in person. Hole in the wall but not bad. The food is served very fast and hot. I had a shish kifta which is like a kabob but more susceptible to falling apart. It was good but not great. The portions are generous and the rice is good. Baklava is actually great so good in fact that I had a second one. For what it is, Jerusalem is pretty good. It has been standing since the 70's. For tastier more authentic middle eastern food, go down the highway and turn left and you might find Surena which is so authentic and tasty that it is well worth the drive. Overall, Jerusalem is good for what it is but not the tastiest nor the most authentic.

Yelp
One word -Delicious! The staff was super friendly and made awesome recommendations from the main course to their insanely scrumptious desserts! The portion size was way more then expected! We sat in the outdoor seating area which was perfect!

Yelp
I came to Denver for an event, the event ended and Jerusalem was opened late. I ordered through Grub Hub since I don't have a car and ordered the Shish Tawook plate. This was anything BUT shish tawook. The chicken was not a typical shish tawook, marinated and juicy. This was dry and EXTREMELY SALTY. must have been reheated (based on how dry this was) and whatever this mix of food, was extremely salty. If they couldn't have fulfilled the order properly, then they could have called and told me. They didn't even include hummus or baba ghanoush. I'm so upset and disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality. I already complained to Grubhub, but this was so bad and I can't eat it. Lentil soup is ok, at least I have that to eat for dinner.

Yelp
I used to eat at this place in the 1980s as a student at Denver University. The staff treated me like family, and the food was amazing and affordable to a broke student. So glad to see they are still around. Love this restaurant!

Yelp
Service was good here. We dined in but it seems more like a take-out or 2am spot to eat. The falafel was the best I've had. We had the beef shawarma and sheesha kabob entree. They meats were marinated well but a bit dry. I would love to come back here after 5 cocktails.

Yelp
Jerusalem is a middle eastern restaurant that's been around for over three decades right next to University of Denver. It's open late and has pretty decent food (I always get the combination super dish to get a good variety of a bunch of things). However, for the price, the quality of food is a bit lacking, especially the naan which is flat and flavorless. The service always leaves a lot to be desired as well. If you're looking for a late night place to grab middle eastern food, this is probably your only option!
