#### Ambiance and Cleanliness: This restaurant stands out for its cleanliness, which was evident from the moment we walked in. The spacious interior was well-maintained, adding to a pleasant dining experience. However, we visited at 4:00 PM on a Sunday, a typically quiet time, making it hard to gauge the usual atmosphere due to the emptiness of the large space. #### Food and Portions: The portions were generous and the food itself was delightful. Each dish was prepared with evident care, and the flavors were impressive. The quality of the food alone is a strong reason to consider returning. #### Service: Service was a bit slow, which was surprising since we were the only diners present. To be fair, the staff were also managing take-away and Deliveroo orders, which seemed to impact their efficiency. Despite the slower service, the staff were quite friendly, albeit a bit distant. #### Overall Experience: While the emptiness of the restaurant made it difficult to judge the usual atmosphere, and the service was slower than expected, the quality of the food makes me inclined to return. However, I am unsure about the take-away experience based on this visit. #### Verdict: Would I go back? Yes, for the in-restaurant dining experience, the lovely food makes it worth it. However, I would be cautious about ordering take-away given the service delays observed.

This place was an absolute delight and the person serving us had exceptional vibes (only laughing a tiny bit when we ordered something too spicy!) What a treat to stumble upon after an opening at APT around the corner - we promised we’d come back but none of us live anywhere nearby so we probably won’t get the opportunity :( Was on the ground floor and seemed pretty step free (although I’ll be honest I was a little distracted so there may have been a small step, and I didn’t see an accessible toilet)

This is truly a gem of a restaurant in the Deptford area, and I’ve visited this place 5-6 times already. The dishes are so authentic and delicious. These are some of my favourite dishes: the grilled spicy fish is divine, I love the spicy aubergine, kung pao chicken, green beans with minced pork, and salmon fish head tofu soup! The service is also amazing! Esther is usually the one serving us and she’s so friendly and funny, and the lady boss is also really sweet and nice. I highly recommend Jinjiang :)

It is difficult to find a place to eat when you have consumption restrictions. The staff was very kind and made excellent recommendations and accommodations towards my food allergies and sensitivity. Make sure you come here for some great food and atmosphere! This is definitely better than many places back across the pond. My permanent go-to for food! 🤩😍🤩😋🍽🥢

From the moment I stepped into 'Jin Jiang,' the warm and inviting ambiance, new interior design, and extensive selection of traditional Chinese dishes like their famous Grilled fish and Sichuan chicken, along with their commitment to cleanliness, made for a delightful and memorable dining experience—highly recommended! My favorite in Deptford.

Everything was amazing, from the food to the staff and the location is also perfect. The food is super tasty and the portions are abundant. My GF is Chinese and she said the food is the same as China. Will come back 100%

Jin Jiang is the kind of authentic Szechuan that is hard to find yet incredibly rewarding. You get a bevy of usual dishes expertly prepared alongside what they call "adventurous dishes" which is the genuine Chinese cuisine which tends to scare off white people. Those adventurous dishes are what make this gem so amazing. Trust me when I say your taste buds will thank you for taking the path less traveled. If you check out the included photo you'll see a wide assortment of flavors on display, from spicy dumplings swimming in delicious hot oil to aromatic spicy crab, which was a surprise hit. Yes, there are spicy dishes a plenty at this place, but you'll also find plates suitable for milder tongues as well. The entire menu is packed with delicious food which will satisfy just about anyone in your group. Indoor dining isn't happening these days, but during my previous visits to Jin Jiang I always found the service to be friendly and attentive while the atmosphere was quite comfortable. Seriously, this is the kind of rare find (outside of your local Chinatown) that I want to support through these tough times because I love restaurants that work hard to expand the Chinese cuisine experience beyond the same boring stuff that has sadly become synonymous with takeaway. Give them a try if you're looking for something different. They just might become your new favorite Chinese.
