I came here on a Sunday. It is a site for sure. The restaurant is basically a house with add on's to have a porch in the front and the back. You have to climb stairs or there is a ramp if you need. The logistics are kid of bad between ordering your food to finding a place to sit to getting your food. You wat in line to order your food in this tiny, adorable cajun shop. The sad thing is on Sunday, like most restaurants, they have to change their menu on Sundays and they don't have hot boudin available on Sundays! But I digress, besides that, they did offer lots of other delicious items. So while waiting in line, there only one door that enter. I would reconsider building an IN and an OUT door to make things smoother, since people are waiting in the door way, and food bussers are trying to go in and out of that same door, and customers after paying are also trying to go out of that same door. Once we got through zig zag, we went back out on the porch, which has seating or we can enter through another door - which I was somehow would have been connected to the food order section - and sat in there. There was plenty of seating throughout. The fans kept air flow. Clean bathroom available.
I ordered the boudin balls trey, a pork belly double biscuit, and a boudin biscuit to try a variety. The boudin balls were good, crispy, small, more rice to meat ratio and full of yummy somewhat spicy heat. Very good boudin balls. Then the boudin biscuit was good, I think there was added bacon in there, but I liked the balls better. The pork belly biscuit came with some tartar sauce with some heat type sauce on it, my god! That was great!! That was actually my favorite. The staff were all smiling and friendly.
I will be bac for that hot boudin, but I do wish the logistics of the place were easier without getting rid of the cajun charm of it.
