Filipino Fast-Food Chain Jollibee Coming to Mira Mesa - Eater San Diego

"Jollibee, an enormously popular Filipino-style fast-food chain, will open a large new restaurant in Mira Mesa. Founded 40 years ago in the Philippines, the company has thousands of stores around the world; it first expanded into the U.S. in 1998. Its signature dishes include Chickenjoy, or seasoned fried chicken, the sweet-sauced hot dog-studded Jolly Spaghetti, Yum Burgers, and Halo-Halo, a classic shaved ice treat. Though there used to be a small outpost of Jollibee in Mira Mesa, it shuttered back in 2013. A branch exists in National City, but the incoming eatery will be more in line with the modern design of its newer openings. The 3,200-square-foot site will include an outdoor patio and a drive-thru. The project, which is in the permitting stages, will land on a yet-undeveloped lot on Mira Mesa Boulevard; it’s slated to open in the second quarter of 2019. And the National City outpost will reportedly undergo a remodel." - Candice Woo

I don't get it but I'm willing to say it isn't for me. I didn't find anything special about the chicken, in fact it seemed to have a lot of fat. The spaghetti just wasn't my taste. I was actually excited that it had a lot of space until I tasted the sauce and just didnt prefer it. Everyone there seemed to love it and be a return customer. Glad I finally tied it.

Google
Normally I don’t review fast food places because what more is there to say about fast food? It’s food. it’s fast. You’ll probably feel like garbage after eating it. But Jollibee is different. Jollibee is hands down the BEST Fast Food experience you can have. - Inexpensive - Quality - and this location had AMAZING service Despite it being out of the way by about 30 minutes, I’m going to seize the opportunity whenever possible to pay this location a visit!

Google
This is easily the best fast food fried chicken I have ever had. Just the bone in fried chicken, the tenders and the chicken sandwich can definitely be better elsewhere. But as for fried chicken, this place has got it. I tend to come here often with a group of friends to share one of their chickenjoy buckets. Always fills me up after 2-3 pieces of chicken plus the sides they offer. I have been here before just me and they offer good meals for just 1 person. A two piece with 2 sides, pretty good. This place is not cheap by any means, but if we're comparing to other fast food it's about average. The gravy they got here is unbeatable. The best gravy I have ever had that wasn't homemade. I'm talking so good you can drink it. The chicken is always crispy and very tender, and is bursting with flavor. I always get it spicy, it tastes better. A lot of people hate on the fries, but I love them a lot. They are like kind of like McDonald's fries except 10x LESS greasy and they are generous with the portions. Not too salty either. And I was not aware of Jollibee's biscuit game. Their biscuits are very buttery and soft. One time I came on my own, and the lady gave me two extra biscuits! Now, my one issue with this location is the service. It's pretty trash. I know I said earlier a lady gave me two extra free biscuits, which is actually the only time I had an actual pleasant experience with their employees. Other than that, the workers are quite rude at times, and you ask them for help or a question and they act like you're inconveniencing their day. The menu is a little hard to read and understand so I often times have to ask one of the employees clarification and it's just met with bluntness. Now it isn't bad enough for me to not give them 5 stars, the food is really saving them here. If the chicken wasn't amazing quality every time, it would be much lower.

I placed an online order with Jollibee at 7:55 PM for a 9:00 PM pickup. When I arrived, the restaurant was packed, which I understand during dinner rush — but that’s exactly why I ordered ahead. Unfortunately, my order hadn’t even been started. An employee told me he saw the tray with my order but assumed someone else would handle it. Because of that, I had to wait an extra 25 minutes, and they had run out of chicken, which caused even more delays. When I got home, it only got worse: * My French fries were missing * I ordered mashed potatoes but was given just a container of gravy This was my first time trying Jollibee, and the overall experience left a bad impression. That said, the chicken itself was delicious, it lived up to the hype. I just wish the service and order accuracy had matched the quality of the food. I hope Jollibee improves how they manage online orders, especially for first-time customers who want to have a positive experience. I reached out to the store and their explanation was that it was a crazy shift and to come back to the store with the receipt for a free item.

"Bida ang saya!" Came here by myself for dinner around 8:30. It was a little busy, but I was was able to get a small table. I ordered the 2-piece original Chicken with Jolly Spaghetti and soda. With it being a little busy, I did have to wait about 15 minutes for my order to come out. However, it came out fresh and hot. Everything was delicious and tasted like back in the Philippines. The restaurant is clean and well care for from what I saw. The staff would quickly wipe and clean tables as people got up. The staff was also welcoming. I would definitely come back for more.

Jollibee is the perfect place for a family meal. The portions are generous, the food is consistently tasty, and there’s something for everyone. My husband love the Jolly Spaghetti and Yum Burgers, while I can never resist the Chickenjoy and gravy. The staff is always warm and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. No wonder Jollibee is such a beloved brand!

Google
Jollibee, the iconic Filipino franchise, is a global sensation and one of the most beloved fried chicken chains in the U.S. Conveniently located in the heart of Mira Mesa, it’s the only Jollibee spot in San Diego, making it a go-to destination for both locals and fans of Filipino cuisine. What We Tried Aloha Chicken Sandwich: A true standout. The combination of juicy fried chicken breast, grilled pineapple, crispy bacon, and melted cheese is divine. The sweet and savory flavors are perfectly balanced. Chickenjoy with Gravy: Their signature fried chicken is crispy, flavorful, and incredibly juicy. The special Chickenjoy gravy is a game-changer—rich and savory, it’s perfect for dipping both the chicken and fries. $11 Meal Deal: This combo is amazing value! It includes 2 pieces of their famous fried chicken, one side (your choice), a Ube or Peach Mango Pie, a drink, and a buttery biscuit. Perfect for those who want to try a little bit of everything. Ube Pie: A dessert you can’t miss! The crispy, golden crust is filled with real ube (purple yam) at the perfect sweetness level. It’s a unique and satisfying treat. Angus Aloha Burger: Incredible to find beef-patties Cheeseburger at Jollibee. But it comes true! Chicken Tenders: Expensive, not as juicy as the regular leg & thigh chicken pieces. They gave me an extra piece, which is awesome! Additional Notes Wait Time: Due to its popularity, especially as the only Jollibee in San Diego, the location can get quite busy during weekends and meal times. We waited about 15 minutes for our food, so plan accordingly. Atmosphere: The lively and vibrant environment adds to the charm of the dining experience. Thestore has the outside dining area which might result as pet-friendly to dine-in with the dogs. At the meanwhile, the drive-thru services are available. They have extended their business hours from 9am to 11pm at Friday to Sunday. (If one comes early at 9 am, many foods options might not be available like tenders and gravy sauce as ones have to wait for extra time until the food are ready. Jollibee in Mira Mesa delivers on its reputation with bold flavors, hearty portions, and comforting dishes. Whether you’re craving fried chicken, a satisfying meal deal, or a taste of the Philippines, this spot is well worth the visit!

Yelp
Coming from the East Coast, where Jollibee locations are scarce, finally having easy access to one on the West Coast is a treat. Back in NYC, there are only two locations; One in Midtown Manhattan that doesn't even have the full menu and the original Woodside, Queens spot, which exists largely because of the big Filipino community there. Now that I live on the West Coast, eating Jollibee is pure nostalgia, bringing back memories of growing up in the Philippines. Out of all fast food fried chicken places, Jollibee is hands down my favorite; Not because I grew up with it, but because of how well the chicken is made. It's fried perfectly, with a crispy, well-seasoned coating that isn't overly greasy. The balance of crunch and juiciness, paired with the side of gravy for dipping, makes it a unique experience that stands out from other chains. That said, my biggest frustration comes from their inconsistent availability of spicy chicken. Whenever I go through the drive-thru past 9 PM, they're usually out of it. While I understand that some menu items may run out late at night, it feels unfair that they still offer spicy chicken for online orders but not for in-person customers. If they can keep making the original for new guest coming after 9PM, I don't see why they can't prepare another batch of spicy as well. My schedule varies, and I've had plenty of chances to get spicy chicken earlier in the day when it's guaranteed. However, I just think it's only fair to offer the full menu to all customers rather than seemingly "gatekeeping" it for online orders to limit production. As for the ambiance, I visited during the last hour, so the lobby was closed to new customers, and it looked like they were already cleaning up. I didn't get a chance to experience the dining room this time around, but the drive-thru was quick and easy. There was no long line or wait, which I appreciated. Because of this, I'm leaving a 3-star review. If I could, I'd rate it a 3.5, but I typically reserve 4 stars for places with better overall service and 5 stars for businesses that truly stand out. I love the food and will continue coming back for it, but the service itself is just mediocre.

Yelp
It's midweek, I just got off work and I'm hangry. My quick solution is grabbing some Filipino fried chicken and the spaghetti. The drive thru is very efficient and I was able to pickup a bucket of spicy fried chicken and family size spaghetti quickly. I like that they only serve dark meat because I find white meat dreadful...l'm exaggerating of course, but you get my point. Pro-tip: check online for coupons as they periodically have deals and promotions, plus you can order conveniently on the app.

Yelp
What can I say, if you're feeling some tasty fried chicken and pancit palabok on top of their spaghetti then you gotta hit up Jollibee.

Yelp
I ordered the 2 piece chicken meal and it was absolutely delicious. The biscuit wasn't to my liking. Get rid of the biscuit!

Yelp
I'm very confused as to how jolibee has a 3 star review as it is the best fried chicken recipe on the face of the earth. The spicy chicken joy is brined to perfection and the skin with rice and gravy is a combination that cannot be beaten. The chicken is juicy and it is always fresh! This place gets packed so be ready to maybe sit outside or wait for a table! Don't forget to try the peach mango pie! Best fried pie in the game! Change your life... try jolibee today!!!

Yelp
Average food. Mostly fried. Nothing healthy happen ding here! LOL but as it's a chain native to the Philippines, it offers a taste of home and the menu items reflect Southeast Asian flavors like ube and mango and spaghetti that is slightly sweet. The service was friendly and I noticed that the tables were routinely cleaned as we sat outside to enjoy our food. We received the food pretty quickly and everything was made according to expectations. Nothing to rave about as it's basic fare but the portions are satisfactory. Out of the peach pie and ube pie choices, we preferred the peach one. The Aloha sandwich was ok. It wasn't a wow experience but the prices corresponded to the quality.

Yelp
4 stars for fried chicken and spaghetti. And 3 stars for the peach pies. The crispy chicken sandwich was okay, it was dry. But it tasted delicious when dipped in the gravy sauce. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. My favorite dish was the spaghetti, it was so good. Looking forward to try the other items especially the palabok.

Yelp
UGH! Forever disappointed there is only one Jollibee in SD and it's suuuuper out of the way for me. However, where there's a will there's a way, and I will ALWAYS swing by when an errand brings me that way (you see what I did there XD) I did drive through and got the two piece spicy chickenjoy with palabok. Service was a bit slow but they were clearly really busy in the restaurant. Thankfully there weren't many cars ahead of me. I had hoped to snag an ube pie but was informed that they no longer carried it. Sad! My drive home was agonizing, as the warm, heavenly chicken scent permeated my car while I wove my way through traffic. Once I got home, I wasted no time tearing into my bag full of oily, flavorful goodness. Though the chicken was not perfectly crispy after accompanying me through rush hour traffic, it's thin breading and flavorful seasoning more than made up for it. I will say it's never that spicy though! The palabok was also delicious, with sweet savory meat sauce and soft vermicelli. Though it was a bit greasy, I couldn't help but shovel it into my mouth in between gravy-laden bites of chicken. I then had the Genius idea to mix gravy into the palabok which added a whole new layer of flavor. Incredible! Overall, Jollibee is one of my favorite fast food joints, and one of the few that I will go out of my way to eat. I hope to catch the ube pie next time they have it in stock!

Yelp
The Chicken - cooked very crispy and the spicy chicken has the perfect amount of heat, great size of chicken also Only thing is the blood on the chicken, might be using frozen chicken but it leaks blood and touches the bone making the chicken look raw and old 7.8/10 Fries - reminds me of McDonalds fries 9/10 Adobo rice - smelled like burnt garlic 2/10 Mashed potatoes - classic taste 8/10 Mango peach pie - tastes like raw dough with super sweet filling.. i think if they used chunks of fruit without the jelly filling it would be better off... inedible for me 1/10

Yelp
Jollibee has cakes! loved this mango jelly cake, so rich and light, one piece is not enough! Delicious!

Yelp
Everytime we out west, we usually have a member of our group who has never had Jollibee. This time around we stopped into this location versus the national city one. This space is clean, has staff constantly outdoors and indoors cleaning and you can smell the cleanliness haha. We mainly focus on the chicken when here and ofc the pie. No special flavors this time around aside peach mango. The chicken here even if you get spicy is NOT going to kill anyone that's intolerant to spice in my opinion. The chicken comes with thigh and drums in a bucket, always super hot (temp) super juicy and the right amount of crunch. I can't wait until one opens up closer to home back east. The fries are comparable to your normal McD style fries could use some more seasoning. The gravy is great for dunking your chicken in for each bite. The pies i like because the pastry part of it is somewhat flaky and not overly doughy, if that makes sense. Once again jolli's chicken doesn't disappoint. I'm not personally a fan of the sweet style spaghetti but that's just personal preference.
google avatar

Katrinna J.

Yelp
Ordered the 6 piece combo. Fried chicken was good, pineapple juice is refreshing, gravy is nothing special, mashed potato has too much butter & looks like it was made from the box potatoes.
google avatar

Audrey C.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a weekday and it was packed! I've always loved the smell of their chicken and glad there's one in the neighborhood. Ordered the ever popular pineapple quencher (delicious but sweet) and the 2pc chicken joy with fries. Their fries are really good cos they're crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The chicken has a nice crisp to it but ultimately not that flavorful and I don't care for the gravy, which I know, is one of the reasons that makes this place popular. For a fast food joint, I felt that service was pretty slow. Albeit, it was busy, but we still waited about 15 min to get our food. Good amount of seating inside and they had some outdoor seating at the side of the store as well.

Yelp
We went to the Mira Mesa location for a drive-thru pickup around 2:00pm on a Saturday, the service was very quick. We ordered the Family size Jolly Spaghetti and 10-pcs bucket meals chicken joy with gravy and peach mango pie. Everything was delicious, although the spaghetti was on a dry side, so they need to add more sauce and sausages. The outside of the restaurant looks really nice, they upgraded the place really well.

Yelp
I have a love/hate relationship with Jollibee. The spicy chicken is by far the best spicy fried chicken at any fast food restaurant, at least in my opinion. The spice permeates all the way to the chicken, not just the breading. The spicy is truly spicy so make sure you have a drink handy. The peach mango pie is amazing! There is nothing else like it and it's an item I can't not get when I order. The sides in my opinion are just ok. They serve Pepsi products which I'm not a fan of, but the pineapple quencher is addictive, I wish they sold it in a larger size. So, why 3 stars? The service can really be terrible. I've placed orders online with a pick up time in 20 minutes and an hour and a half later it isn't done. You are literally fighting with employees to make your order. Drive thru orders get all the priority so you can stand there waiting for a very long time. If you ask about your order they have no problem lying and telling you 10 minutes more when they know it's not. Trying to place an order in store can also be rough. With one person ahead of me, I've waited over 20 minutes just for an employee to acknowledge me. They also, can't keep the spicy chicken consistently. So, I love the food but the service definitely needs some improvement. Too bad they don't seem to care about the terrible service they offer.

Yelp
We were just there yesterday. We ordered two Combo pairs: 2pc Chickenjoy + Palabok + PAjuice 1pc Chicke joy + 2pc Steakburger 3 Dessert Pies The Palabok is now BACK to its original recipe, noodles are no longer watery. Thank you! Note to first timers : always add lemon juice to Palabok and mix before eating. Ambience and personnel remains 5+5 STARS for me. Moderately busy for a Monday AFTER LUNCH rush hour. Very satisfied with my meal I did not crave for dinner anymore. Thank you, Jollibee.
google avatar

Gideon T.

Yelp
The food is a bit disappointing, it is not up to par as compared with other Jollibee locations. The chicken is not as juicy and while the workers are really nice, it takes a while so it seems they are a bit understaffed. The restrooms are also a bit dirty. Still not bad, so don't let this review deter you from trying Jollibee since there isn't another one nearby.
google avatar

Agnes D.

Yelp
Great location. Def a lot of traffic but they seem to have plenty of staff to make sure orders are received with minimal wait time. Chicken joy is the best. They have original and spicy. And the spicy is SPICY! As in you can see the hot sauce INSIDE the meat. Palabok is consistent! Def a winner!

Yelp
Jollibee's, hands down, has one of the best fried chicken! It was my first time trying their chicken yesterday, on my last day in San Diego, and I can't think of a better meal I could have had. I would like to add that I actually am not even a fan of fried chicken, but Jollibee's definitely made me a huge fan. They only use chicken thigh and the meat was super moist, not dry at all. The chicken had nice flavor that was not too much & just right + paired well with their gravy! (I am also typically not a fan of gravy either but yesterday I was) The chicken, fries, gravy, and peach mango pies we got were all made super fresh and piping hot. I loved it! We got the spicy 12 piece chicken and the spiciness was very subtle and not mouth burning, which I appreciated. Everything was finger licking good. The mango peach pies are not like your neighborhood McDonald's pies; they have the perfect crisp to them and were so yummy, you wouldn't think that this was "fast food". Wayyy better than KFC or Popeyes. Highly recommend trying Jollibee's if you haven't ;)

Yelp
Honestly Jollibee has always been one of my favorites growing up so it has a special place in my heart. Was really happy when this one opened up closer to me in North SD. The chicken here is so crispy and juicy inside, you can never go wrong. I tried the chicken sandwich today and it was also really good! They don't skimp out on the chicken, so it's a good size and it kept its crispiness and juiciness even in sandwich form! I also got the spaghetti, which if you don't like Filipino spaghetti then I'd skip on it because it is traditional Filipino spaghetti (sweet with the red hot dogs). But I absolutely love it! The service here was fast on a Thursday night. Ambiance is fast-food casual.

Yelp
Oh Jollibee, everyone talks so much about how wonderful and amazing you are, yet I feel differently. Being the self-proclaimed "pseudo-Filipina" that I am, I just cannot wrap my head around the hype!! Like, okay, I thank you so much for naming one of your most popular dishes after me (lol jk!), but it is just NOT that outstanding imho. I have driven by your Mira Mesa location countless times, but last night was my first time going to the drive-thru. I ordered the 6-Piece Chickenjoy Bucket Bundle which comes with your choice of 2 sides and 2 drinks, along with 6 pieces of their Fried Chicken. The menu price at the drive-thru was $20. I thought I got a pic of it, but it slides to show another part of their menu, so I missed it. Idk where the extra $3.60 on my receipt came from, but I'm going to assume "inflation" and that they haven't updated their menu prices yet. Anyway, the food was aiiiiiiight. I did like the crispy chicken and that they only put dark meat in the bucket. The gravy for dipping the chicken tastes like any other brown gravy you can get at a grocery store. Nothing special. So you dip the chicken in it and eat it. It's yummy and would probably be so damn delicious if you were starving or something. However, on a regular day, it's okay. The sweet spaghetti, which most Filipinos are known for making in their own homes, is just that. Mind you, the packets of Dole spaghetti sauce can be purchased at Asian stores. I have seen them at the 88 Ranch in Temecula and at various Seafood City locations. I am not sure if they make their own in-house sweet spaghetti sauce, but it has cut-up slices of hot dogs if you dig that. Not my thing, but I'll eat it if it's there. The pineapple drinks were pretty good. I liked the taste and haven't had it anywhere else, so that's a plus. It's not carbonated, so it's like a juice. I don't know when I'll get a chance to actually sit inside to dine in and eat, but when I do, I'll update this review. I forgot about the peach mango pie, which I will definitely try next time. The parking lot is kind of cramped, as it sits behind Starbucks. Prices are a bit overpriced for basic food. I give them an "A" for effort, but I'm just not a die-hard fan of Jollibee. Sorry guys! Glenn A. says my Filipina card needs to be revoked, lol! That may be so, but I am what I am and I like what I like! Good effort, guys!

Flora A.

Yelp
Bad customer service. Missing item and called them to ask for it. They looked at receipt and yet they can't see the error they made. Put two meals together w/ drinks but only gave 1 drink and 2 extra adobo rice. They should verify before handing out the food.

Jun Sung H.

Yelp
Terrible service. They forgot to give me my drinks and my chicken sandwich. The person at the register was cold and uninviting. Once the order was ready I went up to the counter and several employees had eye contact with me but none bothered to check my order or talk to me, and I had to grab my order and leave. DO NOT GO HERE.

Yelp
Went to this Jollibee location at around 8pm for a late dinner. Parking was easily accessible for me and I was greeted by the cashier as i entered the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant was very bright and there's plenty of tables for inside dining. The staff were very friendly and my food was done right after ordering! I asked for an empty jollibee bucket for a side project and the manager was nice enough to give me one! Great experience !

Yelp
We ordered the 12 piece chicken bucket and the the peach mango pies. We usually just order from the drive thru . We always get our food super quick. The chicken is always super juicy and fresh. This is our go-to location when we're craving fried chicken

Yelp
Environment of the restaurant was nice and friendly. Only down side of the visit is that the wait time for my order of 2 sandwiches was 20 minutes. I understand the situation a little since it was busy when I had arrived however my friends had received their order within 10 minutes of ordering. Great food quality would recommend still to any chicken lovers.

Yelp
Not too impressed with my first visit. Liked: 1. Building is new and designed well 2. They have a drive-thru and I was on my lunch break so that was nice 3. Service was fast and friendly 4. Fun to try a new restaurant 5. Like that you can get spaghetti from a fast-food joint 6. They have pies, wish my Dad were alive to try these Other: 1. Price seemed too high for what the food is, e.g., $10 for a deluxe chicken sandwich 2. Chicken sandwich was nice but nothing memorable, and kind of small 3. Spaghetti, I knew ahead that it is Pilipino style, but for almost $10 again, it felt kind of underwhelming Going to return to try the chicken and gravy. If not, this would probably be my first and last visit. Nothing bad on Jollibee's part, but for me, my tastes, and comparative options in lower price ranges, not a huge fan.

Yelp
My first time trying Jollibee, I've heard some great things about this place. I went ahead and ordered the 6PC Chickenjoy, and I read other reviews raving about the spicy version so I figure I give it a try. Well, the chicken was pretty good, breading was excellent and there was definitely a lot of spice. However, to me the level of spice took away from the flavor of the chicken, and it definitely gave me a stomach ache, even when paired with the gravy. Next time I'd probably try the regular flavor.

Yelp
This was my first time at Jollibee, and boy I have been missing out on some good Filipino food. The server was really nice and patient with me since I didn't know what the sides were or which drinks to order. The food came out pretty fast and FRESH. Did I mention fresh? That chicken skin dipped in that gravy... I felt my stocks getting stiff as a kneejerk reaction to what was going on in my body. Their chicken adobo rice is pretty good too and these titas will make sure you don't go home hungry. This is a fast food chain, not a local restaurant, it gets 5/5 for the staff and food. I'm not coming here to enjoy decor, ambiance, and a clean bathroom. I'm here for the food.

Yelp
My husband and I are big fans of Jollibee but today's visit was disappointing. His chicken was lacking spice and my spaghetti could use more sauce and only had 1 piece of hotdog.

Yelp
August Stop 22 Picked up some takeaway for me and my buddy. Ended up getting the 6 pc combo with 2 drinks and 2 sides for $20. Also got a small side of the spaghetti. Personally I am not a fan of the spaghetti because of the sweetness, but my buddy loves it so give it a try and you might like it too! That being said, the chicken always is super good. I might even like it more than KFC or Popeyes. We got all the chicken spicy and it comes with gravy for dipping. So good dude. The only downside to this location is the men's bathroom was in bad shape. And it seems they are always out of the peach mango pie. Nevertheless these things won't stop me from getting some amazing Filipino chicken.

Yelp
This location has a very bad customer service. Manager is rude when she speaks. I received an order with the drink I paid for spilled all over the bag. Probably the lid was not closed well. I asked for a refund and the manager yelled me stating that they did their part and prepared my food and drink so it's not their responsibility to replace it or give me a refund. Very rude!

Yelp
Got the 10 piece bucket, gravy, adobo rice, fries, peach mango pie, and pineapple quencher. -Chicken: 9/10 crispy and juicy but was expecting it to be more flavorful -Gravy: 10/10 so flavorful and yummy. A must to dip the chicken and fries! Adobo rice: 6/10 was expecting it to be a little more flavorful but it was yummy overall and cooked well Fries: 2/10 soggy and under-salted Peach mango pie: 8/10 crispy and flavorful! But overhyped in my opinion Pineapple quencher: 10/10 strong pineapple flavorful and super refreshing and delicious We went through the drive thru and the service was very friendly and quick for the amount of food we ordered! Though they didn't provide us with napkins and utensils so we had to go in to grab those.

Yelp
Okay I know a lot of people are tripping with two stars for Jollibee, but why are they constantly out of a spicy Chicken. For the time I was always saying Popeyes can't take any days off because Jollibee was on their ass. At this rate Popeyes has absolutely nothing to worry about. I drove all the way out to Jollibee and I noticed that the girl didn't ask me spicy or regular. Course when I asked her she said that usual refrain that I got the last time I was in there five months ago, "We're out of Spicy still". Have y'all been out since the last time I was here 5 months ago? I honestly think I'm done with Jollibee. If you don't have something because you're constantly selling out that's one thing but if you don't have something because the manager didn't order or the company didn't send it, yeah that's not for me. Till I know that they have spicy chicken on your regular Jollibee and I have parted ways.

Yelp
Great spot to visit if you're craving some fried chicken. The spicy chickenjoys are delicious and crunchy, and the sides complement them well. Always a fan of getting mashed potatoes or the sweet spaghetti with the chicken.

Yelp
Spicy chicken is back! Only thing that sucks and 4 star rating for the ridiculous pricing but still worth it.

Yelp
Go to fried chicken in Mira Mesa and that is a compliment from all the fried chicken choices here! The chicken is always hot and juicy! The option to have it spicy is also a rare-r option. Spaghetti is an acquired taste here but now i cant get enough ofnit, esp if you add cholula hot sauce. Pro-Tip is to use their app and order ahead, then you can avoid the long line and waot!

Yelp
Food was great and interior dining area was very clean compared to last time! Bennie did a great job cleaning our table and the rest of the restaurant!

Yelp
I'd call this the Philippine version of KFC. The batter has the same greasy/oily texture but you get to choose from a few different sides like noodles and a fried rice. Plus all chicken dishes are served with a brown gravy. I'll be a little biased - I've been eating grilled chicken mostly so this felt additionally heavy and gut-wrenching. the gravy left something to be desired, but the chicken pieces were plump and juicy. Overall, it was good but not the best fried chicken I've had.

Yelp
If I were to rate this place based on just their chicken joy and mango peach pie alone, it'd be 5/5. Chicken is hot, juicy, flavorful, and you dip it in gravy too?? Bomb dot com. Mango peach pie is like McDonald's apple pie but 10x better because it's mango peach. A little too sweet for me, but I also don't have much of a sweet tooth. Extremely good still. Keep in mind, if you're ordering a bucket, you might have to wait for it to cook if it's really busy inside. However, the wait was worth it for us. Their spaghetti is pretty bland. It didn't have enough sauce, and it just didn't do filipino spaghetti justice. Adobo fried rice is very starchy, rice just tasted like a mushy starch seeming undercooked but overcooked at the same time. It has bits of chicken in it, but again, I wasn't a fan. Their palabok uses really fine noodles, and they're heavy on the sauce. Not a lot of flavor in my opinion even with all of that sauce. I don't recommend these specific items. Inside it's kind of messy. I come here for lunch every so often, so I know it does get busy, however, you shouldn't sacrifice the cleanliness of the restaurant for it. Someone had to request to clean the floor. We had to request someone clean the table too. The trash can seems to always be close to the top or over flowing. Meanwhile you have someone walking outside checking the tables that no one has been sitting at. Staff is very nice though. The lady at the counter is super polite and very efficient managing the front. So thank you for providing us such courteous service.

Yelp
Really really good! Such a unique fast food concept. Ordered the fried chicken and spaghetti meal. Food was great! The fried chicken had really great flavor and was so crunchy, the gravy it comes with really made it. The spaghetti was actually good, I was surprised. It's a lot softer and sweeter than normal spaghetti but it was still really good, and I loved the addition of the hot dogs. The mango peach pies were 10/10, incredible. A super delicious fast food place with excellent customer service and unique items to order. Definitely check this place out if you want someone new.

Yelp
Tastes like home! Good service staff (shout out to Bennie!), food quality - they were fresh and taste amazing, place was clean and good ambiance overall! Love this place vs. the one in National City.
