"Wine is the focus at this all-day cafe, with decor and a menu inspired by French sensibilities. Find dishes like French onion soup, a shaved jambon sandwich, and bone marrow bolognese. With a long marble bar, black and white tile, and outdoor tables, it’s fancy without being too fancy and a great option for a romantic dinner or catching up with friends." - Darcie Duttweiler
"Located near the end of a busy stretch of South Congress Avenue, June’s is an effortlessly cool all-day bistro and wine bar, with a bright and airy dining room, accented with a long marble bar, checkered tile floors, and a vintage jukebox. The outside feels like a Parisian sidewalk cafe, where you can enjoy a long, drawn-out conversation about what you’re going to order, while the inside is packed full of tiny round tables. Your job is to pack those full of small plates of bone marrow bolognaise, steak au poivre, and excellent wine." - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion
"If a hip New York City cafe spent time in Paris, you’d get June’s All Day, a neighborhood cafe and wine bar on a bustling corner of South Congress. The food here is excellent—a somewhat French-American influenced mix of crudos, salads, and pastas—and the wines are expertly-curated. Neither of those should come as a huge surprise considering this spot is from the same folks that brought Austin Jeffrey’s, Clark’s, Perla’s, and more. The inside is a welcome escape from the busyness of South Congress outside, but we like to lean into it by grabbing a table on the sidewalk outside for some people watching." - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion
"The fried chicken sandwich isn’t the first thing most people gravitate toward when eating at June’s on South Congress, known best for their great wine list and upscale takes on bone marrow bolognese and shaved jambon sandwiches. But their simple fried chicken sandwich is underrated. The chicken is large and fried to a crispy golden brown, before being topped with hot sauce and kohlrabi ranch slaw. If it was just a little cheaper, we would turn this into a weekly fried-chicken-Friday staple." - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion
"June’s All Day is the younger sibling of Jeffrey’s and Josephine House. And just like everyone’s younger sibling, it’s a little more carefree and relaxed than the rest of the family. There’s no wrong time to come here—per the name—but it’s a great post-work destination to have a glass of wine on the patio and eat one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city." - nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs, max bonem
