The 11 Best Hawaiian Restaurants to Try in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"A great poke bowl is like filing taxes: the less complicated, the better. At Jus’ Poke in Redondo Beach, there are only six fish options to choose from, including an excellent shoyu ahi that comes loaded with diced green onions and ogo, a light, savory seaweed with a reddish-brown color. Pair with a scoop of rice or seaweed salad." - Kat Hong

Where To Find The Best Poke Bowls In LA

"Poke is rarely worth any kind of drive, especially not one that involves the 405 South, but Jus' Poke in Redondo Beach is 100% an exception to the rule. There are five different options of pre-marinated fish - the original has a strong sesame thing going on, and the spicy version is creamy and tasty - all made with tuna. The servings are enormous and a lot of the crowd are local office workers popping in to pick up lunch. There’s definitely not much in the way of ambiance in this tiny roadside spot, but that doesn't stop it from feeling like Oahu anyway." - jess basser sanders

Jus’ Poke Review - Redondo Beach - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"You’ve likely had plenty of build-your-own, assembly-line poke bowls over the past few years. Jus’ Poke is different, and resembles what you’d find in Hawaii - meaning it’s super fresh and you won’t be able to overwhelm your bowl with too many options. There are six types of pre-marinated tuna (get the original or spicy) or a tofu option, to which you can add rice or seaweed salad. The servings are enormous, and the crowd is mostly local office people picking up lunch." - Jess Basser Sanders

Google
Amazing Poke bowl! Their selection of marinated/sauced fish is excellent and diverse. It is definitely worth the wait - don’t let the line outside the door intimidate you. The line moves decently fast. There’s not a crazy amount of sides you can choose from, but doesn’t matter too much when their basic ones like seaweed salad and cucumber are so good. Highly recommend to take it to-go to a good viewpoint near PV to enjoy the bowl. The store is basically a small to-go store with few stool seats inside.

Google
Amazing Poke Experience! Every flavor is absolutely delicious, but my personal favorite has to be the Hawaii Spicy—such a perfect balance of flavors! The staff here are incredibly kind and accommodating. I placed an order right before closing time but arrived two minutes late. Despite that, they were patiently waiting for me inside, which I truly appreciated. They even went the extra mile by adding extra ice to my order to keep the meat fresh for longer. A perfect experience all around—5 stars, 5 stars, 5 stars! Let me know if you’d like any further adjustments!

Google
It was my first time In Redondo Beach and a coworker recommended this spot saying it really is authentic Poke and I am glad she did. I got there during lunch time on a Monday so the line was a bit long but it moved super quick and at the end it was 1000% worth it! Everything was delicious, I didn't wanted it to finish! If you are close by and trying to decide what to eat, just go for it, you won't regret it!

Google
Great Hawaiian style poke at very reasonable prices in the heart of Redondo Beach. I saw the crowds outside a few weeks ago then finally gave it a shot. It reminded me of the traditional grocery store poke I had in Hawaii, saying it's very good. Go for the large poke bowl... Two scoops of rice two scoops of poke and 2 sides. Great stop for lunch . There's a long line but it goes quick and it is worth it

Google
Outstanding poke. The flavors are excellent. We drove a two-hour round trip just to go here. I like a little spice so I get the spicy edamami, spicy poke, Hawaiian poke, pickled cucumbers & brown rice. My wife like the Cali poke. We'll definitely be back!

Google
This Poké bowl was probably one of the top bowls I’ve ever had. Amazing quality and taste. Also the cucumber on the side was fantastic. Definitely a recommend. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

I always drive and see long lines. So today I decided to give it a try. They have a small free parking lot. I got lucky and found a spot. Lucky, today there wasn't a line. I wasn't sure how the ordering process was. So I asked the guy at the register. You basically choose either a regular or large box then add the items you wish to have. They have a few poke options on the menu plus a few sides to choose from. The guy scooping the poke into the boxes didn't seem very welcoming. Everything seemed rushed...like get your food, pay, and leave. Lol IMO, the poke was good but not worth the hype. The portions are ok. I much prefer Ali'i... More options, better tasting, and friendlier service. There's bar facing the street with bar stools if you wish to eat there. Most customers are doing take out. As I was leaving, the parking lot was jam packed with cars trying to enter. It was also difficult leaving the lot as traffic on PCH is heavy and fast at times. I might give them another try.

Albert Hibpshman

Google
Convenient Poke right on the street, recommend giving it a try. Sushi in a bowl that is filling and easy to eat. They gave me chop sticks and a fork. Quick service and great suggestions by the guys behind the counter. I got 1/2 n 1/2 spicy and mayo based, white rice, pickled cucumbers and a Hawaiian roll. I will be back.

Yelp
The freshest, most authentic poke in all of LA County!! This place had a line out the door all day and for good reason. The poke here is so simple and fresh! I loved all the different flavor options. I got a mix of the wasabi and the hawaiian tuna. The texture was melt in your mouth and the contrast between the sweet and the heat was unmatched. The sides were also so amazing!! The spicy was the perfect complement! I wish they were de-podded though. The rice and furikake was warm and fresh, even though we ordered around closing time. The selection of authentic hawaiian drinks was unmatched. The pricing is fairly reasonable too. Such a solid spot to pick up poke before heading over to Hermosa beach to watch the sunset.

Yelp
I had high expectations for this place and it was jus' okay. I got the small plate with Shoyu & Local Wasabi, Pickled Cucumber, Seaweed Salad, and Rice. More than enough for one person!! Overall the poke did taste fresh, but the flavors were a bit too salty for my liking and the wasabi for the local wasabi wasn't strong. I did notice the sides were a bit wet/liquidy since the bottom of my rice got soaked/dyed by the seaweed salad, but maybe it was because I got served the bottom of the containers The workers that day felt like that were rushing us to clear the line. The glass wall made it hard to hear so we had to scream for the workers to hear what we were saying. It's not very first-timer friendly.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab poke before dropping my friend off at LAX. Thankfully it wasnt too busy! There is a fairly small parking lot, less than 10 spots but street parking nearby! There is a few picnic tables outside but I recommend grabbing it to go to the beach! I got a poke bowl with the spicy poke and it was so yummy! You can only choose two sides with the regular bowl. The cucumbers were to die for!!!!! I will say, for the price the portion size was a little small. But the poke is very fresh and flavorful!

Yelp
My friend and I went to Manhattan Beach for lunch and explored the area by walking along the boardwalk until sundown. On our way back, we passed by this place and decided to have a light bite since we were both not that hungry. We decided to share a bowl of: Half shoyu half spicy. Side of cucumber salad, spicy edamame and brown rice It was surprisingly good and it's good that we decided to share because the serving was pretty generous. All ingredients (fish and veggies) were fresh and delicious. There were bar seating inside and more seats outside the store. It looked like a popular restaurant because there's always a constant stream of customers. Service was fast and friendly. There's a restroom inside and lots of free parking around the area.

Yelp
Came here with friends to grab a dinner for the beach! This place has a small parking lot, which was appreciated. There was a line on a Sunday afternoon, but it wasn't too long of a wait. The inside is a small quaint surf-themed shop with a few counter tables along the windows. Not too many places to sit inside. My friends and I were all super satisfied with the food and price, surprisingly its a pretty large portion for a really good price. I expected poke to be more expensive. I really loved their sides--I got their cucumber and edamame, and put furikake on my rice. I personally got the original poke and the spicy poke. My only wish was that they had salmon! I was unaware all of their poke was tuna but regardless it was really delicious and fresh.

Yelp
Amazing poke, quick and friendly service despite the long line at lunch rush, very laid-back atmosphere with a bit of both indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered a Regular size with Shoyu and Spicy poke, brown rice, pickled cucumbers, and seaweed salad. I loved my plate and destroyed it, eating in silence to savor the food as much as possible haha. My friends enjoyed what they got, too (a mix of Original, Hawaiian, and California Roll). Poke were well-seasoned, cool in temperature, and tasted fresh! Marinated yet not mushy. I mixed some of the Shoyu and Spicy together, and it helped tone down the heat of the Spicy while adding a savory creaminess to the Shoyu (aka a yummy combo). Thankfully the pickled cucumbers and seaweed salad weren't overly sweetened, and they added some great textures. Easy to see why Jus' Poke is highly rated. They deserve all the hype, and the positive reviews are justified. I'd love to come back and try their other flavors. Only con is the limited parking nearby, but it's not their fault. People become VERY aggressive/ambitious parkers in that shared, tiny, one-way lot, so be careful. There appeared to be residential street parking nearby with a short walk to the shop, too.

Yelp
Drove from the SGV to get some fire poke. Second time coming and this time much longer wait but it's also 2pm on a Sunday afternoon with great weather, so the wait was expected. I didn't want to get a poke bowl because I wanted to save my stomach for the fish. Worth it to buy the fish separately and then get sides of rice. Total for everything pictured ~ $56. Was able to take leftovers home in my insulated bag with ice. Very relaxed coming here, nice but limited seating outdoors and indoor, with hardworking staff. 5/5 every time!

Yelp
Even though the line is long; it moves fast! I enjoyed my first Poke bowl from Jus' Poke! Basically you order rice, 2 sides and your choice of 2 kinds of Poke with the small bowl. I had the white rice, spicy edamame, seaweed, California roll poke and spicy poke! Next time I will have to remember to add fresh avocado on top ;-) P.s.- I do wish they made a mix with fresh salmon cubes instead of only multiple ahi tuna poke options!
google avatar

Aarin P.

Yelp
Saw this viral spot on TikTok and a friend also suggested to try! The poke was fresh with different side options. I decided to get the original poke and the spicy poke with avocado, pickles, and spicy edamame with rice. I would've gave this place 5 stars but they were out of spam musubi, wonton chips and not much to choose from for drinks. I would totally come back with friends! The line wasn't long at all.

Yelp
Whenever someone asks me what to get in the South Bay, this always has to be a top 2 choice. I can literally eat here every single day. Service is always good! They're very helpful whether it's your first time or 100th time. The place is very small, with outside tables if you want to eat it asap. If not, go take it to the beach which is blocks away from the spot! I can't wait for my next visit, it might even be tmrw! Much love!

Yelp
Places with lines are usually hit or miss...but this was a HUGE HIT! We drove past the storefront on the way to Palos Verdes and saw a massive line out the door, so we knew we had to stop by on the drive down. The parking lot is pretty small, but there's street parking or lot parking nearby. On a Saturday around 12:15pm, the line honestly wasn't too bad, and we only had to wait outside 2 minutes before making it in through the door. The staff here is super friendly! Places where you DIY a bowl can be intimidating cause of choice paralysis, but the staff is super friendly, explaining how many scoops you can get and what their recommendations are. I got the original bowl with brown rice, sides of spicy edamame and pickled cucumber, and a mix of original poke and spicy poke. Coming from the Bay, these bowls were pretty affordable for poke and fresh fish prices. They also have a good selection of different pokes for you to pick from, who doesn't love variety! The bowls were DELICIOUS! I can understand the line out the door. The fish was incredibly fresh and soaked up the flavors of the sauces they were marinated in. The sides were amazing as well, super fresh and dare I say unique for a fast casual restaurant. Every bite just melted in my mouth, and the crunchiness of the sides complemented the well-seasoned fish perfectly. Super glad to have driven past this place, would love to come back!!

Yelp
The easiest 5* ever given and not sure how I haven't rated this place yet!!! Has been a staple in my life for like 10 years and I recommend it to all friends/family especially when folks visit and it never disappoints. Best poke this side of the pacific! Portions are great (regular size includes a scoop of brown or white rice + decent sized side which you can do half and half + decent amnt of poke which you can also do half and half). Do yourself a favor and get the seaweed salad as your side because there's nothing quite like it, and add all the toppings (furikake, sesame). Can get busy with long lines on the weekends but always always worth it and consider ordering ahead online of you don't like waiting! Limited outdoor seating and a few barstool seats inside so we always grab and go and eat at the beach! Would give 10 stars if I could, workers are the sweetest

Yelp
does this place need another 5 star review? not really. am I going to give it anyways? yup $12.50 for this portion is INSANE. you would NOT find this in LA. I have yet to find a poke place in LA I am satisfied with (sweetfin delivery keeps messing up my order, nishi poke is okay, I need to find a fish market place honestly) and driving down to Redondo made this worth for me. I got here at opening on a Sunday and there was no line, when I left all the parking lot spaces were full and there was a line out the door opted for a 1/2 portion since I wanted to try both. both are so good I would come back if I have a craving. this place is good, if you're living in LA please try this! it's so worth

Yelp
TLDR: The best Hawaiian-style poke I've found in the mainland! We found this place off the recommendation of a friend and I'm so glad we did. I'd been searching for some real Hawaiian-style poke ever since our Oahu trip a few years ago, and this place scratches that itch forsure. I ordered a regular bowl with their Spicy and Hawaiian poke. The Good: The fish was GREAT--fresh, vibrant, and tender with a slight chew. The Spicy had a bit more heat than I expected, but was still delicious. The Hawaiian was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. They didn't slack on their rice and seaweed salad either. The portion you get for the price is great, too. The Meh: Parking is very tight and the line to order can get very long. Seating is limited too. These are just the limitations of a small restaurant, though, so I can't count these against them. If I had to nitpick over stuff they have control of, I'd say the seaweed salad, while delicious, was a little slimier than I like. We took our bowls to nearby Redondo Beach for a nice ocean-side picnic. It was a perfect lunch and we'll definitely be back the next time we're craving real Hawaiian poke.

Yelp
This review is long overdue. I'll preface with I am by no means a poke expert (I live in New York and have been to Hawaii once when I was a kid, tf do I know about poke?), but my LA friends purport that Jus Poke's product rivals that of poke from the islands. Everything tastes fresh, saline, oceanic, and briny. And more importantly, the items marked as "spicy" are definitely spicy. Most recent in memory, I ordered two half pounds of poke after a 4 mile beach walk. The Local's Wasabi flavor is sharp, sinus-clearing, spicy, and mustardy in an astringent way. The onions here do not tame the spiciness but instead synergistically increase the total sharpness. To the nose, it smells only of shoyu. Visibly, the Local's Wasabi looks different from the Shoyu flavor in that it contains tobiko. The Shoyu poke is more classic, rich and deep in soy flavor, and super savory. It tastes more like mellow onion powder and granulated garlic (again, deeper flavors) whereas the Wasabi had more fresh and raw white onion. It has a nice aroma of sesame oil and shoyu while tasting mild and smooth, almost soy-cured compared to the sharp Local's Wasabi. My other photos reflect older purchases of Hawaiian Chili Peppah and cucumber pickles. I only recall the Hawaiian Chili Peppah being REALLY spicy, so buyer beware.
google avatar

Marc L.

Yelp
Hands down, the best poke in my life! Line can get long on weekends, so plan ahead and be patient. Great system: you choose two from choices of poke. Few other choices, in contrast to most poke places. The freshest fish and great flavors. Do not miss it!
google avatar

Clara C.

Yelp
This is a legit Hawaiian poke spot. All the fish is tuna. The vegetarian option is marinated tofu, and it's actually pretty good. The menu is easy. You can choose the meal (regular or large size) or poke by the pound. I was recommended to get rice with the poke because they tend to run salty. I have to agree with the recommendation because shoyu, spicy, and local's wasabi were all very salty by the end of the meal. They have something called one-ton chips, which are pretty good too. They run about $3 a bag. They sell Hawaiian Sun drinks! It's perfect with the poke. There is a small parking lot, but there is free street parking less than a minute walk away. They do have one bathroom inside. It's a tiny space inside. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
I get this poke whenever I'm in the area and I love it! They only have tuna poke and I order the sweet heat and spicy. There's a small parking lot and it maybe be difficult to get a spot during rush hours. There are tables out doors and the workers are super quick and nice to get you in and out. Order ahead of time through the online ordering to skip the wait. Wait can take 15 mins sometimes
google avatar

Lilian W.

Yelp
Jus' Poke is a popular poke place in the Redondo Beach area, only serving one type of fish: ahi tuna. The fish is served in various flavors, including spicy, original, California roll, and more. I tired the Hawaiian and Shoyu 1 lb poke with no sides for $21.95 - it's good, but way too salty on its own. Instead, I recommend getting a poke bowl to at least pair the poke with rice. Sides are an additional $3. There's a private parking lot by the side and always a long line getting in. The service inside is quick and efficient, so the line moves fast. For ordering, they ask what you want and put it together on the spot. The restaurant itself is very small with minimal seating inside and some outdoor tables. Most customers order take-out. Overall, I'd definitely come back for a poke bowl.
google avatar

Amber L.

Yelp
Tucked away in the tiniest parking lot, is a spot with some bomb poke! It's definitely a local favorite. On a random Thursday at 1pm, the line was out the door! I recommend ordering online for sure. I got a large poke bowl (shoyu and spicy) with cucumber and seaweed salad. A large bowl is HEFTY. That thing was huge...I actually couldn't finish all of it. The liquid from the seaweed salad kinda spilled on the rice so I would skip that next time. The poke itself was definitely on the salty side. I don't think I'd be able to eat it without rice. I'd love to come back and try other flavors!
google avatar

Charnie D.

Yelp
My friend recommended me this place and I had to give it a try. My wait time wasn't that bad (10 minutes) but I saw a line formed up outside the door when dinner rush came. Workers were nice and welcoming, giving us their recommendations and mixes. I ended up getting their popular Shoyu and Spicy Poke with white rice/seaweed salad/cucumbers. The cucumbers were delicious and gave the fish great depth when paired. I was a big fan of the Shoyu poke because it wasn't overly flavorful and you can enjoy the fish. The Spicy Poke was very creamy and hot that needed kick if you are a spicy person. The parking lot is pretty cramped so beat the lunch/dinner rush by going earlier. I am excited to go back and try their wonton chips and other side options.
google avatar

Criss N.

Yelp
This is a great spot to grab lunch and then head to the beach. It is a fast casual spot with a line out the door that moves quickly. Parking is plentiful in the neighborhood directly behind it. I got the large bowl with brown rice, double pickled cucumbers as my sides, and then original and spicy poke for my flavors. The brown rice is well cooked. It is served warm and not mushy. The pickled cucumbers are very very sweet and gingery, with the cucumbers still having a nice, fresh crunch. The poke itself was fantastically seasoned, marinated with strong flavors and great accompaniments of green onions and seaweed. It is a little salty if you choose to eat it alone, but it makes for a really well balanced bite with some rice and the sweet pickled cucumbers. For $17.95 + tax (Jan 2025), I think that they give you a large and generous portion!
google avatar

Cassidy F.

Yelp
Was it the best poke I've ever had, no, but it was good and I'm willing to bet I just ordered something I didn't like. I was in the area and had this place bookmarked for a while. I decided to stop by. So I ordered online and my food was ready right at my pick up time (no delay! And not one minute earlier)! I ordered a wasabi poke, rice, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, and avocado. The price was decent and matched the portion given! Everything was good, but I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the poke. I felt it was really overstated and completely saturated in soy sauce. So personally, I wouldn't order that again. However I liked everything else and would like to come back to try their other poke flavors. They also have very minimal seating so its pick up mostly. They have some outdoor seating and some bar seating, but the restaurant itself is super small so bar seating is quite claustrophobic,

Yelp
This is as authentic as it gets outside of Hawaii! The service is short and sweet - straight to the point, which I appreciate especially when I am on the verge of being hangry hehehe. I have never had a bad experience here and don't think I ever will. I usually will dine there or in my car because there is no way I can make it back home to LA without taking some BITES that will ultimately be me eating while driving. You know what keeps me coming back... THE SPICY EDAMAME. I know it's such a great supporting role for the hella fresh poke, but the spicy edamame takes the cake for me. Just so garlicky and full of flavor, I can never get enough. I usually do the sweet heat and another random one to spice things up lol. I wish it wasn't so far (or maybe I need to be closer?!?!?!) Anyway, see y'all again very, VERY soon xo
google avatar

Annie Y.

Yelp
The parking lot is small, so may be hard to find parking. Inside is also pretty small with limited seating (more of bar seating), but they do have tables outside as well. This place only offers tuna, so there are no other choices of protein like salmon. You choose your rice, then the sides, and then the sauce style (you can choose up to 2). The sauce style is listed on the wall so you can see what ingredients are in it and all the tuna protein is already mixed into that sauce. Overall, it was pretty good, just unfortunate that they don't offer other types of fish protein. Recommendation(s): - Shoyu and California Roll Sauce Poke Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Small parking lot, so may be hard to find parking - Bar seating inside and tables outside to dine - Only offer tuna as protein

Yelp
Jus' Poke is still one of my favorite poke spots in Socal! I left a review about a year ago but wanted to update it based on new items I've tried. I just tried the California Roll Poke with avocado, crabmeat, and more with tuna. This is a super popular flavor that runs out from what we saw. It's filling and has so much flavor; it's my favorite flavor here by far. Also, I tried their musubi and know why they run out of that, too! It's perfectly salty and has a lot of furikake in the middle, which I love. I'm ordering more of these next time.

Yelp
Truly savory and fresh! Love the quality of their fish and other poppin' flavors. It's like fireworks in your mouth! Very umami! Fast friendly service. Inside is simple and there's plenty of dining area outside. Feels like I was in the big island of Hawaii.
google avatar

Kerry K.

Yelp
The best poke in the South Bay (and maybe all of LA?) Their prices are so reasonable, their fish is always fresh and there is always a line. So just be prepared to wait a few minutes but it's worth it!
google avatar

Christie K.

Yelp
Loveee this place! The tuna poke never misses! The fish here is the best quality by far in the area. The only downside to this place is that since everything is premixed there aren't customization options. It personally doesn't bother me but I know not everyone can have tuna and some people have other fish preferences. I do think this place is the closest to Hawaii poke I have found here in SoCal! The line can get long but only because there isn't a lot of space inside for people to stand. There is a countertop inside and a few tables outside for you to enjoy your order onsite. The service is always fast and the poke always taste amazing!

Yelp
Delicious , delicious , delicious. Shoyu Poke was super tasty. Very fresh. It was just delicious. Food: 9.5/10 Parking: I parked in a shopping center very close to the restaurant. Plenty there but was very busy on a Friday at 1:00 pm There are a few bar seat on the inside and few tables on the outside. Very chill spot. There was a line when I got there but it went by quick. The hype was real :)
google avatar

Melody C.

Yelp
Parking can be a bit difficult but you can park on the street out in the neighborhood just behind. Heard it gets busy during the weekdays but wasn't too bad on a weekend. Small inside with a couple seats. There are a couple tables outside too. There is a variety of poke you can pick from. I got the shoyu and California roll poke and it was really good. It is a bit saucy but delicious and full flavorful. Forgot what my husband got but it was really good too! The portions were big and they didn't skimp out. Can't wait to go try all the other types of poke.

Yelp
Poke- 5/5 AMAZING FRESHNESS AND FLAVOR. Big chunks of fish and flavor that delivers and is consistent in every bite EVERY SINGLE TIME. Service- 5/5 Bryan is super kind with a big smile always, an Asian guy who's always pleasant, tall guy with glasses and the other team members are always welcoming, full of Aloha spirit (even when the lines are out the door and coconut heads leave the door open where flies could get in, never seen any thank God) the team is awesome! Consistency- 5/5 Always the same, fresh, and delicious poke EVER. Flavor- The flavor profiles and different mixes of Poke both traditional and modern are delicious! All of them packed with great flavor and depth, even the more simple and traditional like shoyu. Quantity- This will be the best $$$ you'll ever spend because the quality is amazing and they also have good hefty portions. This is why I'm always here- not sure why it took me so long to review! They give you nice scoops of rice AND poke! Sides- Their sides are fresh and amazing! Def try their house made pickles and their seaweed salad, SO BOMB! Seaweed salad is always crunchy and so flavorful! The only thing I wish they had was Mac salad! The lines are longer on weekends and later in the day on week days, but they have an online order option which comes in handy. They by far are the best Poke restaurant in the Southbay. It's a CA staple, you must try and eat by the beach! Thank you Jus' Poke for making me a Jus Poke addict, lol!

Yelp
I felt like this was made on the island! Absolutely amazing! The poke was fresh, tasty, and the portions were perfect! The employees were patient and helpful...aloha all the way and the ambiance was busy! Line out the door!! I can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
Probably the best Hawaiian-style poke in the area, especially for the price. I have a big appetite so I was happily surprised when I couldn't finish my large poke bowl (Definitely recommend the Sweet Heat salmon flavor). Inside area is super small and outside seating is pretty limited so we were glad to get a table.

Yelp
Maybe my expectations were too high seeing the reviews, but it was definitely not the best poke I've ever had. It was solidly okay and maybe I need to try more of their pokes. I had this place bookmarked and we were nearby so it worked out for our schedule. The wait is insane - it not only has a long line but the line takes forever. Suggest ordering online if you can - it seemed to be faster. There's very little seating and most people buy to-go.

Yelp
Some friends and I stopped here on a ride, and this type of cuisine was a new experience for some riders but overall was a hit. The poke was fresh and the sauces were delicious. I also appreciate the friendly staff that helped us out. Be warned there isn't a lot of seating and the restaurant itself is cramped! All and all, enjoyed this Poke place and had a good meal. Thanks!

Yelp
$32 for 1 lb poke, Hawaiian tropic soda, won ton chips, cucumbers Good Og poke - nice balance of flavors and reminds me of Hawaii! Cucumbers - crunch, slight tang, and sweetness Ok (and why this review is 4 stars) Mayo poke has too much mayo. It masks the poke and is overwhelming Won ton chips are a little hard, wish they were a bit more flakey There was a line thanksgiving weekend, but we got through after 20ish min. Service is fine, just the glass barrier is pretty tall so if you're short you gotta kinda enunciate your voice lol

Yelp
Some of the best poke I've had on the mainland! This was a grab and go spot with limited indoor and outdoor seating. The poke was fresh and I loved the choices of poke they offered. I got the Hawaiian and Shoyu poke. They have different sizes but the regular is very filling. Each bowl comes with rice and sides, and for my sides I chose pickled cucumbers and spicy edamame. Service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend and will definitely come back!

Yelp
I can eat this poke EVERY DAMN DAY it's that good. My work buddies and I go here at least 2 times a week for lunch and if we don't make it in person, we order online. Cali roll and spicy for the win every single time. Sure, there's a long line sometimes, but that's what's gonna happen when your food is that good.

Yelp
One of the best, if not THE best poke in SoCal! I felt validated from this statement the moment I saw locals flocking in for quick dinner during a weekday night. The pillowy rice smothered with furikake pairs perfectly with the fresh, marinated, generously sliced poke! Their classic shoyu and spicy tuna are my favorites. I change up my sides from time to time and opted for seaweed salad and wonton chips for a nice crunch and change in texture.

Yelp
This restaurant is by far the best and most delicious when it comes to Poke. My husband works near by and he brings me a bowl of the poke every time I crave it. Today they hooked him up!! So worth it!!!

Yelp
Really good poke in the LA area! The wait can get really long - it was out the door right before closing on New Year's Eve! I got the original and spicy. Original was very classic but the flavor is a bit subtle - maybe I'll get shoyu next time. The spicy was good! My friend got the sweet heat flavor - it tasted like pineapple but the spice wasn't really there. The seaweed salad was also super good.

Yelp
Jus Poke is an absolute gem! I got the large plate with ahi shoyu poke, pickled cucumbers, and seaweed salad, and it was perfection. The poke is incredibly fresh and melts in your mouth--so reminiscent of authentic Hawaiian poke. I loved the rice being on the softer side; it paired perfectly with the toppings. They also sell poke by the pound if you just want a little snack! Parking is convenient with a small lot adjacent to the building and extra street parking behind the restaurant. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Huge portions & delicious poke! We saw this spot on Yelp while heading to the beach & we're so glad that we stopped by. The large size was enough to share & we were full afterwards. The workers were generous with the scoops (literally shoveled the seaweed salad & pressed the poke in there!) and although there was a line, it moved very quickly. Their original poke tasted fresh, light, & refreshing, pickled cucumbers were lightly pickled and crunchy, and the seaweed salad was perfectly seasoned. The parking lot was small, but there were also some spots in the residential area behind the shop. There were a few shady tables outside as well so we enjoyed our meal with our pup. We'll be back to try their other flavors!

Yelp
So delicious my Hawaii friends thought I was visiting! If it's good enough to trick an island native you know it's going to be good. We waited around 45 minutes in line to a delicious and filling lunch. With a regular plate lunch you get your choice for two pokes, two sides, and a scoop of rice. I decided for the spicy ahi and the sweet chili as my poke flavors and the seaweed salad and cucumber pickle with brown rice. The fish was buttery soft and seasoned to perfection. The cucumber pickles were the surprise of the meal they were crunchy and delicious! There is a counter inside and some picnic tables outside to enjoy your lunch, to which I assure you will want to eat right away! My only reservation was not ordering a large, I felt like I could have devoured another scoop of rice and poke. However the regular plate left me quite full and would probably leave most people happy.

Yelp
So gas, I make the 1 hour drive to come here. Get here right before 12 to avoid the lunch rush hour. Can't really say anything else more about this place other than it's the best Poke in SoCal! Great portions, delicious poke!!!

Yelp
Haiku: Jus' Poke Hawaiian poke Long lines, so eat a snack first Generous portions. --- My favorite authentic poke spot in LA. I tried a couple of their new flavors and really enjoyed them. The Sweet Heat is a slightly sweet and spicy alternative for those who like some heat, but don't want a mayo-based spicy poke. California Roll poke is creamy and tastes just like traditional CA roll. The others, Shoyu and Hawaiian poke are solid, classic flavors. Friendly staff, generous portions, and chill vibes. There is only countertop seating inside, but most seating is outdoors. There always seem to be long lines, but the wait is worth it. The parking lot is tiny though.

Yelp
Best Poke you can get off the island. If you want more of the traditional fish and rice plate, this place is for you.

Yelp
Ever since having the most amazing poke in Hawaii, I had yet to find anything that hit that craving. THIS IS THE CLOSEST I HAVE FOUND. It's premarinated poke, simple menu, and tiny store with always a long line. Ordered a plate, a bowl, and an extra side of poke. For two people, we demolished it. Tried the shoyu, Hawaiian, and spicy. Shoyu is original and must get. Hawaiian is a slightly spicier version of shoyu with chilies. And spicy uses spicy mayo for a creamier poke. They have really good sides like seaweed salad, cucumber salad, and even Hawaiian rolls! If only I lived closer I would be getting this every week.
