This place usually has good food, but my visit today was just shy of me walking out before even ordering. We (2 people) came here and there was a table for 2 open. We were told it was a 5-10 minute wait. So I assumed there was a party of 2 before us. Ten minutes later this kid comes up to us and confirms we are a party of 2 and then walks away. A couple minutes later he tells us to follow him to our table. It was the freakin' table that has been open the whole time.
Okay, so now we are seated with empty glasses and menus. A couple waitresses moseyed by paying no attention to us sitting there with no silverware, water or even acknowledgment. We must have been sitting there for about another 10-15 minutes before I was even able to ask a busboy if he could get our waitress.
She finally comes and takes our order. We get our coffee and ask for cream... You know that moment when you live with roommates and they put a basically empty carton of milk in the fridge that doesn't have enough in it for your bowl of cereal and the wrath that you feel? Well, we got the little creamer pitcher and there is maybe a teaspoon of cream in it (see fig. 1). Still no utensils, by the way.
While waiting to get our waitress' attention to get more cream, the couple next to us get their food and the girl says, "Oh, I forgot we were even getting food."
We finally got our food and they really missed the mark. It was not worth the wait or frustration of this experience. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Not sure if I'll ever come back...
...maybe just for the monkey bread.
