"There’s no shortage of great Korean restaurants in Ann Arbor, and Kang’s stands out for its bibimbap, the popular dish with a protein of choice, fried egg, vegetables, and rice served in a screaming hot stone bowl. The heat from the bowl creates a crispy layer of rice for texture and flavor." - John Reyes

I took my wife and daughter here to eat after the hands on museum and let me tell you everything was delicious, the service was amazing. I ordered bibimbap in a hot stone bowl and it was the best bibimbap I had. My wife loved her food and even our 3yr old daughter loved the food. Everything is house made and I can tell. The owner is really nice, I am coming back forsure to try everything on the menu. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re around the area and looking for authentic Korean cuisine.

Google
I love almost every dish here—bibimbap, seafood pancakes, and curry rice are my favorites. I actually became a fan of seafood pancakes because of this place! I used to dine in frequently, but after getting busier, I started ordering through DoorDash during peak hours. Whether dining in or ordering out, the food quality is always excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and polite, which makes dining in a truly pleasant experience. 10/10 for authentic food, great service, and consistently delicious dishes! (first photo from home, enjoying a doordash order from Kang)

Google
Very delicious food. Only *ONE* issue there was like barley any seafood in any of the dishes.... it's like when the price of seafood doubled they took out more than half of the seafood in the dishes... this makes me very sad. Great customer service though. For example my soup dish only had 2 or 3 pieces of squid in it.. tons of tofu. You can get the idea from what I am saying.

As soon as you enter, the atmosphere hints you that you will eat some amazing food. When you take your first bite, you feel joyous knowing that your initial instincts about this place was accurate. The food here is amazing. Kudos to the chef.

Google
I have tried to eat here 5 times in the past year and only once was I ever served. Every time I go in well before they are closed and they tell me they’re “sold out” for the night while I look at 3 empty tables. Please just change your hours if you are going to consistently close so early.

Google
First time here and it was great - service was good and the food was delicious!

Google
Wonderful food, great staff, nice cozy vibes. Slightly cramped. Would recommend for smaller groups of people.

Google
The food was very delicious. The staff were very friendly. I definitely will return here one day but I know now to use the restroom prior because they don’t have a public restroom.

Yelp
Ok, first things first.....this place gets really busy....and it stays busy so heads up....its also small and very cozy but I like that. If you're looking for a hometown, homemade, heartwarming Korean meal, Kang's Kant be beat!!! It's smells like home cooking the minute you walk jn. I'm tough with Korean food bc, well....Im Korean. The menu has all the tried and trues but we started with the kalbi-tang. My mom makes a mean ass Kalbi-tang and hit damn, Kang's kalbi tang was kookin. This was rich and soul-soothing....the broth was deeply flavorful without being heavy, packed with chunky short rib pieces that was tender and not too overly loaded with fat. (You know what I'm talking about, we've all experienced it) Next came the hot stone bibimbap. The sizzling bowl arrived piled high with a colorful array of crisp vegetables, savory marinated beef, and a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg. Just take a look at the pics. They don't lie. A quick stir revealed beautifully charred rice at the bottom, offering that irresistible crispy texture that goes....."krunnnnnch". The combination of fresh, crunchy vegetables with warm, seasoned rice made every bite a perfect balance of flavor and texture. And can't forget the kimchee pajeon. These savory pancakes were a standout because for one, this was the first time I had such a dish and they weren't overpowered by tons of kimchi. This to me was a standout. Every dish here tasted homemade in the best way.....my momma would be proud.

Yelp
The BEST Korean restaurant in Ann Arbor! We got: 1. Bu Da Jigae Ramyun: Was really craving kimchi ramen, so this really hit the spot!! Very flavorful soup (perfect amount of spice, but not too spicy). Perfect ramen texture (the right amount of Al Dende). And lots of protein! 2. Kalbi Tang: Soup was so flavorful, and the meat was so tender! Was very hearty. Adding/stirring in rice was a good touch. 3. Dub Bok Ki: Easily the best I've ever had!! The flavor and texture were perfect!! (Spicy, but not too spicy. Soft, but not too soft.) All dishes had very reasonable portions for their affordable costs of ~$13 each. There even was enough food and sides to have leftovers. Highly recommend, and would 1000% go back!

Yelp
Still some of the best Korean food in Ann Arbor you can get! I've now tried the kimchi fried rice with spam, galbitang, soondubu, ddukbokki with ramen, and their japchae and can confirm they are all hits which makes it so hard to decide what I want to order whenever I come here now. Definitely more of a takeout service since the dining room is really limited and no restrooms for patrons but I don't mind, the food is that good!
google avatar

Yelp
Came to Kang's right when it opened. I would suggest coming early for lunch if you want to eat it fills up fast. The Kalbi was solid for $15 nice portions of meat and the dressing for the salad is flavorful. The dish also comes with Kim chi and bean sprouts Kim chi is a little diluted for my taste, I like the chili and garlic to be much stronger. My wife's spicy stir fried beef was amazing as well. Definitely a great spot for take out with very reasonable prices. If you do eat in your order right when you walk in at the counter than someone from the kitchen brings you the food, you leave your food at the table when you are done.

Yelp
Perfect Korean food on a cold Ann Arbor Day. Very homey feel and friendly staff. Bulgogi with rice and budae jjigae is really good. Tteokbokki is also recommend and overall recommend Kangs for calm Korean food! + Affordable

Yelp
Cute, little restaurant with a small amount of indoor seating. Easy to order, cafe style right when you walk in. Pictures of menu items near the order counter for anyone unfamiliar with Korean cuisine. Had the beef bibimbop and pork potstickers. Both were absolutely excellent and delivered to the table within 20 minutes of ordering. Friendly staff and canned sodas/bottled water available for purchase. No alcohol that I saw. No restroom for patrons though so you have to walk blocks down to a nearby local business if you need to use the facilities or wash your hands. Not ideal.

Yelp
Please this is the one place you must go to before you die. The business picks up super quick and regardless the service is immaculate. The food is beyond delicious, I could literally marry each dish. The ambience was super cozy and legit feels like I'm at family dinner. I love this place so much you HAVE to try everything. We got the Spicy Pork, Curry rice with beef, and Kalbi tang. The food was so good we ate in silence. Wow wow wow
google avatar

Angelina Z.

Yelp
The budae jiggae was exactly what I needed on a cold day. I liked that it wasn't too spicy, and that there were a variety of meats, noodles, and veggies. 13/10 would recommend.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
In my opinion - the best restaurant in Ann Arbor! It is small, homey, and intimate (only about 6 tables in the whole store) and the food is so incredible. I always get the beef bibimbap and potstickers. Very well priced and a great place for students.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite Korean food in Ann Arbor. The food tastes so good and it warms my soul. The soup dishes are good, the stir-fry dishes are good. There isn't anything here I didn't enjoy. The only downside is that the seating is very limited, so it's hard to come with a big group or during busy hours. The take out is pretty solid too
google avatar

Ashley P.

Yelp
Great bibimbap and the soup tastes as if your mom cooked the meal for you. Service was quick, and I liked that you pay up front and are free to stay as long as you like. It feels like a family restaurant

Yelp
Extremely rude manager in this restaurant. We ordered three dishes and one was lost ( not counting for the bill, and we found the issue before leaving, so it's solved) and one was ordered wrong. We called to the restaurant and the manager began with the sentence "we will not return your money at all." Whatever the reason he indifferently provided, the whole attitude irritated us. He kept conveying that he thought we were wrong to not understanding Korean, we deserved what we got, and he didn't intend to solve any issue because the issue was made by us. We totally didn't want to argue with the manager, but his constant blaming made us stress out and we had to defend. The food itself is normal (sweet and spicy, so someone may prefer this) and Rich JC has way better taste for their food.
google avatar

Robert C.

Yelp
This is the worst food and service I have had in my 30 years in Ann Arbor. The ambience was awful. The staff was so rude.

Scott S.

Yelp
A pretty solid Korean restaurant with a good menu and good variety of dishes. My wife likes it (B)

Yelp
I was craving some traditional Korean food after eating some strange and odd flavored Korean food at Miss Kim's. Ordered the kimchi jjigae soup as part two of my Korean meal. Order at the counter and they will bring the food out to your table, on a tray. They even serve free barley tea here and the prices are quite reasonable here, they don't nickel and dime you for everything like at the other place. It's not a big spot but service is quick and people come and go quickly and efficiently. There are 27 seats. The kimchi banchan and the bean sprouts were good, way better than Kim's down the street. The kimchi jjigae broth was delicious and flavored the way I had hoped and wanted it too, this soup is my comfort food. The guy taking the food order was super cool, chatty and friendly. This place felt cozy and made me feel at home.

Yelp
This place was jam packed when we arrived around 2pm. It's a small place, tucked away, but it packs a punch. Definitely come here if you're craving some authentic Korean dishes. Everything comes out hot and fresh, well worth the wait! We ordered the Korean pancakes (seafood). I have no clue what my friend ordered (had noodles, seafood, and broth/veggies). The pancakes (4 of them) were HOT (temp), crunchy outside and soft inside packed with seafood. A soy sauce of some kind comes in the side. I ordered the Soon Tofu Jigae. If you're a newb like me, be sure to crack your raw egg in ASAP (that's why the "soup" is served boiling!). It comes with a dish of rice and two sides (kimchi and bean sprouts). It is labeled as a spicy dish on the menu, but I would not classify it as being spicy. This place was legit - for sure check it out. Ps - they do takeout too.

Yelp
This is one of the many Korean restaurants in the Downtown Ann Arbor area. Unless you want to smell strongly of Korean food, I'd recommend running in, paying for the food, and getting it to go. Even if you're only there for under a minute, you will still smell like Korean food. Kang's is not my go-to, but there are a couple things here that Kang's does well. Also, if you like sweet kimchi, go to Kang's. * Galbi Tang - Probably the best in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area. It's super oily but that's what gives it a lot of flavor. It's seasoned and salted well, with a good portion of kalbi, glass noodles, and radish. A great meal for rainy days or if you're feeling under the weather. * Dolsot bibimbap - I don't know what it is, but Kang's is the place to go for a hot stone bowl bibimbap. That means you'll have to eat in here though, which can get pretty crowded. * Kimchi fried rice - Again, if you like sweet kimchi, the fried rice here is pretty damn good. Relatively big portions too. Greasy and oily, all the good stuff. It's affordable for college students and great if you're out and about. Grab some Kang's and bring it to a study spot. Make everyone jealous around you because you're eating some good smelling and tasty Korean food.

Yelp
This was a treat. Small venue a few tables, local students both dine in and take out. Food was delicious. My granddaughter's was too hot to eat (temperature) so she saved it for later and loved it. One complaint (but still a 5 star) need better ventilation. I smelled my dinner for 2 days.

Yelp
Kangs is my favorite spot in Ann Arbor to get authentic Korean food hands down! The workers are always friendly and the food is always great. Pros: good food, affordable, close to um campus Cons: parking can be a *little* tricky My faves: kimbap (which I believe is seasonal) and the kimchi pancake! The bibimbap and soondubu is also tasty :)

Yelp
While we were on Ann Arbor a couple of weeks ago my cousin wanted to show us one of his favorite restaurants. This is a Korean restaurant that is very famous for their soups. We had Sam Sun Jam Bong, Yook Gae Jang and Bibimbap. The three were pretty good specially with the rainy weather, basically noodle soup with different vegetables and proteins, now as a Mexican I'd have to say these dishes are a good comparison to our stews and I believe that's why I liked them so much. I believe a 10 dll meal (each) would be very cheap especially if your date or partner are not super hungry because when you ask for to go the containers are pretty big plus if you add the big amount of rice they include both of you will be full. Another friend tried the curry that night and liked it was green curry btw.

Reina F.

Yelp
Food was homemade and fresh! Only wish is it were bigger and had more seating. We will be back.
google avatar

Lydia F.

Yelp
We ordered Kang's take out, and I was pretty put off from the start because the cashier asked me to wait outside and it was raining. Another person walked in while I was waiting outside, so I went back in to get our food. I expected to get the traditional ban chan, or side dishes, with our to go order because the prices were the same as dining in, but we did not get any with our order. The bi bim bap, a rice dish with veggies and meat, was so bland. I was also not impressed by the kimchi soup. The food was really lacking in the traditional Korean flavors we are used to.
google avatar

Mercedes V.

Yelp
On our way to Yee Siang Restaurant when we happen to drive around the street where this Korean restaurant was located. Either I was just hungry or the food tasted amazing. Any rice bowl with fried egg or sunny side up sounds good to me. Tried their chicken bibimbap, good flavor and just the right amount of rice and shredded vegetables on the bowl. The pot stickers with the dipping sauce was also very good. My husband ordered the clear broth non spicy beef soup with transparent vermicelli noodles...i can almost say that it was authentic Korean all the way if they used a bit bigger noodles for the soup or japjae. Each order was served with a small size plate of kimchi. For 2 people, we paid $33 total with tip but no drinks. Water is provided free, self service. Pay as you order. Clean as you go. The restroom was located in the basement. Careful with your steps. Parking is free on Sundays. But beware of towing trucks when you park. Definitely will come back. I'm not Korean, but the food at Kang's is a must try for Filipinos like me ;-)
google avatar

Molly T.

Yelp
This food was amazing! We got the chicken and beef bibimbap with the hot stone. We also got some tteokbokki which was great:) Staff was super friendly and as long as you're aware that there may be a wait, the small setting is not a problem.
google avatar

Joyce L.

Yelp
Thank you for having Kang's open during this time. This is a great place to grab your favorite Korean food (to go!). Place: This place is on campus and is a nice walk to pick up your food and enjoy some great Korean food. It has good seating but right now it is still good for take outs! Service: The service is great and there are really nice staff so that's a plus. I know they have a lot of fundraisers for the community so that's another reason to go! Great hearts and great food :) Food/price: The food is of course great and it gets pretty packed so I would call ahead or plan accordingly. The price is decent $-$$. Audience: Great for families, friends, and couples! Recommend/tips? I recommend this place! Support local businesses and try new foods everyone.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
Small place that delivers a great meal at a good price, friendly atmosphere and timely service.
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
My wife is Korean and approves of the authenticity of their food. She should know as she is an excellent cook. We eat @ Kang's about every two weeks. We look forward to their Fall hours so we can eat at Kang's more often

Shannon L.

Yelp
I don't really think their food taste like authentic korean food, especially Budae Jigae and Soon Tofu Jigae. Taste nothing like what I had back in Korea.. Spicy Kimchi Pork with Rice Cakes was pretty good. Galbi Tang was okay.
google avatar

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
Meh. I ordered a bibimbap with brown rice for pick up. It was ready upon arrival, so check there. The food itself was a bit disappointing. I opted for brown rice and it was water down and not very warm. The flavors of the beef and such were not memorable. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, not sure I'll try again.

Yelp
I placed an order to go as I wanted to eat outside and enjoy the weather. I've had long-term (10 years) suffering from cancer and chemo, so each meal is a delight when I'm able to eat. The young fellow behind the register spoke to me rudely right away,, and from there he acted as if he had zero impulse control, flipping out when I asked to cancel my order due to his rudeness and my desire to leave because my back was in serious pain. He started ranting about what I owed him, rather than simply providing a refund. I gave him what he demanded, then he chased me out the door and very aggressively told me I owned him still more money, pinning me against my car with my door as I attempted to sit down. I gave him another $20 to get him away from me. I've eaten there off and on for 25+ years, taken dates there many times, and frequently encouraged others to try the place. Today was my last visit; I really hope he addresses his anger issues before he does that to anyone else. Watching an older Asian man (the owner?) run out to take a picture of my plate as I drove away simply added insult to injury. Thankfully, such behavior is very out of place in A2.
google avatar

Han K.

Yelp
Kang's is my favorite Korean restaurant in Ann Arbor. Their food has an authentic taste to it. I always feel like I'm in a typical (in a good meaning) Korean bapjib (serving rice & side dishes) somewhere in Seoul. I highly recommend their soondubu. It's a bit spicy but on point in many aspects. Japchae and bulgogi are great too. The only downside is that they have a bit inconsistent hours. There were a few times I had to turn back since they were closed. I always call beforehand to make sure that they're open or simply make a togo order. I would give 4.5 stars because of that.
google avatar

Nick F.

Yelp
Kang's is a very small and intimate Korean restaurant in Ann Arbor that seems to be very well respected by the people I've met here. The Korean game shows that play on the screen are a testament to the restaurant's authenticity and the tight kitchen space almost makes it seem like you're being invited into a family home. Being my second time at Kang's, I ordered the chicken japchai. The vermicelli noodles were very flavorful and the rice was great! The bean sprouts and kimchi also made for excellent sides. I would recommend adding gochuchang and sesame oil to really enhance the dish's taste. Although not pictured, I also shared some pot stickers with three friends--they were a great way to start the meal! Between the friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, perfect portions, and cheap price, it's hard to beat Kang's. If I were at Ann Arbor for longer, this would definitely be one of my regular spots!
google avatar

Salley P.

Yelp
A quick place to get some authentic Korean food! Kang's is a self-service restaurant, where you order and pay up front. The inside of the restaurant is no-frills, fits about 20 people. My friend and I came on a Thursday night, and it was surprisingly busy around 8. I ordered the Bu Dae Jigae $10.25, which has sausage, ham, tofu, pork, kimchee, ramen noodles, onions, green onions in beef broth. I felt like it was pretty good, but the soup could have been spicier and more flavorful. My meal came with a bowl of rice, kimchi, and bean sprouts. My friend ordered the hot stone bibimbap, which just came with the kimchi. I'm a Korean from southern California, so this obviously isn't as great as back home, but Kang's is not a bad option when that Korean Kraving hits.
google avatar

Anwesha D.

Yelp
I really liked the food. The price was reasonable. For around 11 dollars you get a proper lunch. I ordered spicy chicken. It comes with rice, kimchi and bean sprouts. For my Indian palette the chicken was appropriate. It had right mix of being spicy and sweet at the same time. There was a melange of vegetables, so you can see the carrots, spring onions, mushrooms and garnished with sesame seeds. I cut one star because there were stains on the table and they should have cleaned it beforehand.
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
Very delicious and quick food stop. It's a small restaurant with an open kitchen. You can call ahead and order or you can order at the counter when you arrive. It feels like you're just eating a friend's house. Not a sit down and server style place. There's free barley tea on the counter. The staff is very friendly. There's also a picture menu along the wall if you're not familiar with traditional Korean food. I got a seafood soondubu and my BF had the budae jigae. Each entree came with a side of kimchi and rice. There's not a range of side dishes like normal Korean restaurants but their kimchi was great. Very homemade and fresh. My soondubu was mild and just the way I like it. There's no egg in their version. Comes with a decent amount of seafood. I tried their budae jigae too and it was flavorful and good portion size. Overall good place for a quick bite of Korean.
google avatar

Sharon J.

Yelp
I've been here numerous times and every single time has hit the spot. My favorites are the hot stone bibimbap and tteokbokki, but there are a lot of gems on the menu. The environment is super homey, it feels like eating a home cooked meal. The staff is also super helpful and patient. Overall great food and great experience!

Jade K.

Yelp
I ordered their Spicy Pork, which I'm pretty sure it's supposed be the korean dish "jaeyuk bokkem". It didn't taste quite like it and even had ingredients that are not traditionally part of the recipe (reminded me of fast food Chinese American dishes), thus leaving you with less meat. It is rather a simple dish to make, so I wonder how they managed to mess it up. Other than that, friendly service and they packaged the food with care. This was my first visit and I'm unsure if I will go back.
google avatar

Dia D.

Yelp
This is a casual little restaurant on South U where you order at the counter. I had the soon dubu jigae (soft tofu soup) and my husband had the bibimbap for $20. The food was good, service was fast and friendly, and the price was good. I would definitely return.

Gunther E.

Yelp
Excellent galbi and ddeokbokki at an irresistible price. The food arrived just several minutes after ordering.
google avatar

Danica S.

Yelp
A part of me feels bad giving this a 5-star review as I see Koreans rate it poorly. I'm sure their sentiments are similar to mine about Mexican or Filipinx food. Perhaps I am not as knowledgeable about Korean food as I thought. So, just based on my past experiences with Korean food, I thought it was delicious. I've also never had Korean food served in a hot stone pot before, so I automatically assumed it was authentic.
google avatar

Carina W.

Yelp
Mom and I came here for dinner on Friday night - got here before 7 pm I think and there were a lot of tables open - but then half an hour later the place was crowded with people. We got a hot stone pot bibimbap with beef and a soondubu, total came to around $20 which is pretty good for Korean food! Everything comes with kimchi and sometimes bean sprouts. Their kimchi is pretty good!! Food was solid. Bibimbap had a lot of ~stuff~, and they give you a squeeze bottle of sesame oil and red chili paste. Soondubu was tasty! The flavor was actually quite nice, the seafood really tied all the flavors together. Definitely would recommend!
google avatar

George L.

Yelp
Kang's is a cozy restaurant that seats about 25 people and offers some good quality and authentic Korean food. The place can get really busy during dinner rush around 6:30pm on Fridays and weekends, so I advise showing up earlier for dinner to avoid potentially long lines. You order and pay at the front before getting your meal, which is quick and convenient for customers. I ordered the Regular Bibimbop with Beef for exactly $10, and it tasted like a classic bibimbop (especially with gochujang, one of the best sauces in the world hehe). The portion size was also standard, so no complaints with their bibimbop meal! NOTE: While Rich JC and Kang's, which are close to each other on South University Avenue, both offer pretty authentic Korean food, just know that Kang's is currently a bit cheaper.
google avatar

Cynthia Z.

Yelp
I got the bibimbap, shortly before closing time. Most of the food was cold and stale, including the rice. Also, the girl behind the counter didn't offer me a receipt and kept telling me that I was "done" when I was trying to get an email receipt on the tablet register! I noticed they also ignored other customers who were thanking them for the food and so forth on the way out. I expect that it would have tasted better had I arrived earlier, but I think that's no excuse. Also, the food itself was really mediocre. I've been to a lot of places at a similar price point (~$10) with better quality bibimbap. I ordered takeout, and they offered kimchi, which tasted like the kind you can buy in a plastic bucket at a supermarket, as well as small containers of gochujang and sesame oil on the side. The vegetables were fine, still crispy and tangy, like they had been pickled overnight. The meat was really depressing. Based on the rice to flavor ratio, I had to add in gochujang and sesame oil, and I generally have a lighter palate. Ending on a positive note - the portion was pretty big!

Yelp
I love Kang's. I've only ever had their Dol Sot Bi Bim Bop, but why order anything else?! The staff is very nice and friendly. This dish was also served with kimchi, sesame oil and the traditional red hot sauce served with bi Bim bop. I have never been served sesame oil on the side- but I dig it! The only thing I wish Kang's incorporated was the traditional sides (Banchan) most Korean places serve with meals. Other than that, no complaints!!
google avatar

Jenny C.

Yelp
This place has been on my bookmarked list for the longest. I love the workers, the environment and the authenticity of the food. You can tell how much effort and love had been put into each dish. Even though Korea is 6393 miles away from Michigan, this restaurant's food does it's best to remind Koreans about their motherland and even people who have never been to Korea feel like part of the culture. Can't wait to see more from this place

Yelp
I think Kang's Korean Restaurant has become my new favorite Korean restaurant in Ann Arbor! We have arrived at 5:30PM on a Tuesday night for dinner. There were still some tables open. After 6:00PM, it was super busy. You'll want to order take out then. Their menu have a small selection of appetizers - I saw that there were fried mandu and tteokbokki. We wanted the mandu to eat with jajangmyeon. Unfortunately, their fryer broke. So we got their tteokbokki instead. Their tteokbokki isn't as spicy as expected but it was very flavorful! The sesame seeds add an aromatic taste to the dish! It had good portions of rice cakes, glass noodles, sauce, and vegetables! For banchan, they gave us bean sprouts and kimchi! The kimchi here is not as spicy. It is very, very tasty! For our entrees, we ordered spicy pork, jajangmyeon, beef japchae, and beef bibimbap! The spicy pork entree was delicious! I wish that the portion was larger and that the pork slices were bigger. Otherwise, it would've been perfect! The jajangmyeon was very good! It definitely satisfied my craving! I wish I could have a slightly larger portion of meat. Beef japchae's flavor was also good! It came with rice for some reason. I rather not have the rice and have a larger portion of japchae. The beef bibimbap was probably the best dish that we've ordered! Make sure to order the bibimbap in a hot stone bowl! The rice stuck to the bowl was super crispy! They provide you with sesame oil and a mixed gochujang sauce to add to the dish. The flavors of meat, vegetables, and sauces all came together nicely! Must order this! Overall, I thought the prices were pretty cheap for Korean food. The portions are small for each entree so I wish that they portions were larger. I would definitely come back here for more food!

Yelp
I went to Coffee Break for dinner with a friend. Being first timer, wasn't sure what to get, but as I waited, I studied their menu. This place is small and I can say, if it got busy, you'll have to wait for your seats. The ordering process: You order first, pay and then seat yourself. Then they will bring the food to you and once you are done, drop it off by the counter by the door. Its lot of self-serve! So I ended up ordering Spicy Pork and Spicy Rice Cake. They have lot of spicy dishes - like spicy tofu, chicken, etc. I'll have to give others a try next time I go... So, the food comes in a tray, which has your main dish, side of kimchi, bean sprouts and miso soup. The miso soup was okay, I had better, but it helps to have a soup when eating the food. The kimchi was good and bean sprouts was okay. I really enjoyed the spicy pork. It was spicy and delicious. I think the meat was marinated prior to cooking, but I really enjoyed the the spicy pork! I would recommend it! The spicy rice cake was excellent, lot better than Maru. I would recommend this dish as well. Overall, my first visit, I was impressed with their food. Give the place a try and judge it for yourself!

Yelp
That food was just delightful. I ate it at a park down the road named Gallop overlooking some water. My boyfriend and I both got bulgogi and the potstickers. It was some of the best I have ever had. 10 out of 10. Large portions too.

Yelp
Ordered 2 Bibimbap to go. We were told 25 minutes to wait for a table, and sternly told that if we ordered take-out, we COULD NOT get a table. Based on that guidance we decided to just get take-out. Literally 4-5 minutes after placing our order a table opened up.... I normally love Bibimbap, but all the vegetables were ice cold pulled straight from the fridge. I would have loved to sit at a table and eat it out of a hot stone, but I certainly did not expect it to be cold. Relatively small amount of meat as well. I received a similarly stern response when asking for extra chili paste. I should not have bothered as it wasn't even spicy.... Overall not bad, but not really enjoyable experience or food.
