"Follow the arrows through this humble grocery to the seafood counter where you’ll find the island’s best poke. The bright red ‘ahi, translucent hamachi, and tako (octopus) are so fresh they still taste like the sea. Order a sampling dressed sparingly with traditional Hawaiian seasonings: chile pepper and ‘inamona (roasted kukui nut and salt), ogo (the crunchy red seaweed often served in sushi restaurants), and līpoa (a much rarer seaweed with golden-brown leaves that taste like scotch). Pohole salad serves as the perfect accompaniment: Tender pohole ferns, with a texture similar to okra, are tossed with large chunks of tomato and onion." - Shannon Wianecki, Bill Addison

"The Kaohu Store has arguably the best poke in Maui and brings us back to the days when poke was found mostly in Hawai‘i’s grocery stores and markets. Inside this convenience store, you’ll find kids getting slushies, daily specials like hamachi kama or Japanese curry, and a refrigerated case of incredibly fresh tuna sashimi and poke by the pound. The chile pepper poke is a classic, and if they have it, try the lipoa poke, made with a less common local seaweed that tastes like cucumbers." - martha cheng, team infatuation

Excellent poke. We loved the salmon, ninja and all versions of ahi. Just load up a lb of each and grab some chips. We went with 1/2 lbs of each to taste but only ended up wanting more!

The old Kaohu Store has evolved. A few years ago, they reopened under a new name, Wailuku Market, along with new owners and a secret weapon in its arsenal, a fresh pokē bar. THE best pokē on Maui, per me. And per the staff, they only use fresh fish, never frozen. My taste buds agree on fresh vs. frozen. Around 2017/2018, the Wailuku Market name slowly faded and the familiar name has reemerged. They've also added more food and beverage options with daily plate lunches and convenience store selections. POKĒ: Salt Ahi Pokē Seasoned with salt and mixed with white & green onions. Delicious. The salt flavor is perfect. Not usually a fan of this plain preparation but damn, I'm a fan! Shoyu Ahi Pokē Normally my ultimate favorite preparation. Seasoned with shoyu, and mixed with the same white & green onions. Super delicious. Spicy Ahi Pokē Holy yum. The king of the three I've tried. Seasoned with I believe sriracha & mayo and mixed with tobiko. The perfect amount of spice and salt. BROKE DA MOUTH!!!! OMG so perfect with beer. Even better than the versions at Oki's in Foodland Kahului and Takamiya Market in Wailuku. Any spicy pokē makes the best-tasting fried pokē, IMO. Aku Pokē Similar in flavor to the salt pokē but made from aku rather than ahi, comes mixed with super finely-shaved kukui nuts, white & green onions. FOOD: Spam Musubi Of the many joints that serve this on the rock, this one was utterly delish! The Spam is cooked in a shoyu-sugar sauce which makes a huge difference in flavor, though I still like plain versions too. The rice was perfectly cooked with the sauce bleeding into it and spreading the love. The nori encased the entire musubi rather than being just a thin belt in the middle like how some places do, making for a clean eating experience. Highly recommended! Portuguese Sausage, Spam, Eggs & Rice The scrambled eggs tasted like they added in some kind of liquid to thin or stretch it out, resulting in a crumbly texture. The single slice of Spam, while thickly cut, was so lightly fried that it didn't bring out the true wondrous flavors that we Hawaiians crave, and tasted like it came straight out of the can. The 2 sausage slices were the best part of the bento. Acceptable but I can do better! SERVICE: Always friendly and professional. TIP: The pokē isn't ready until "lunch time" and sells out quick, so call ahead. OVERALL: The mom and pop shop lives on!

Very fresh and tasty poke. Friendly employees good drink and snack options too.

Google
The absolute best (+) fresh poke on the island. If you are poke connoisseur don't skip this quaint neighborhood store, be sure to call for hours .... family run hours are limited. Recommend hamachi it's my new addiction, hot dogs are pretty good too.

Google
Really delicious poke. We got a half pound of spicy ninja and it was fantastic. We should have also ordered some rice (or had it as a bowl) but that was our mistake. The poke was still absolutely delicious by itself.

Tavis Campbell

Google
Spicy ninja bowl was epic. Was told by my local friend this is the spot for poke. Freshest ahi ever.

Yanny C

Google
Their poke bowl is amazing! We decided to try the Hawaiian and spicy flavors. We grabbed a bowl and headed to the beach to eat it. The rice becomes a bit tough once it cools down, but that's the only issue.

Google
Nice mom and pop, family owned store. Daily plate lunch specials are available starting pretty early in the day. We like many of the plate lunch specials. We love their poke. Their fish is unreal fresh and high quality. Once I started eating their poke, no place else compares to theirs. Also love their spam musubi. Workers/owners/family members are nice, humble people.

Yelp
Great grocery store poke option near the Waihee Ridge Trail. The 1/2 pound poke option is super filling and the marinade (I got the spicy ninja) was great; only complaint is that the fish chunks were quite large so it was sometimes hard to eat. I got the somen salad to pair with it, which had a deceiving name bc it had no vegetables, but it was still tasty regardless. It was imitation crab strips and rice noodles and came with a sauce. Paired great with the poke! The 1/2 poke and somen salad came out to slightly over $20. Friendly and quick service. They accept card! No seating inside and there's a sign in the parking lot that says no eating there, so we drove to a nearby park in the neighborhood to enjoy our food.

Calvin C.

Yelp
Parking is limited with a few spots in front. You could try to park on the street and quickly drop in to grab the food. Upon entering, you'll see a convenience store with many snacks and other assortments you may need for your Maui adventure. The star is definitely the poke. You'll see so many types of fish and flavorings. You can ask for tastings before ordering. Note that this poke is fish and rice - this is different from mainland. You can add rice for a fee. One thing to note, there is a prepared food option which is different every day (I think). I thought the prepared foods were okay - I prefer the poke over the prepared food since it came out quickly and I'm not sure how long it sat out

Michelle S.

Yelp
I love coming here. They have sweet ladies working. The line moved pretty fast today. We wanted hot dogs with everything on it. Plus we got shoyu poke. It was fantastic. Expensive but am worth it. Check out their Instagram for daily specials. It's always a good thing knowing what they're serving that day. So come here if you're looking fresh poke, chips, soda, plate lunches. They have small parking stalls in front of the store but cats move on and out quickly.

Ryan B.

Yelp
The poke here was unbelievable. It's pretty far away from where we were staying but well worth the drive. The staff made a couple of recommendations for us and they were spot on. It's an unassuming small store front but the quality of the fish was excellent and the flavors were awesome!

Tris W.

Yelp
Love Kaohu store. Tried their braised beef plate lunch yesterday and it was so ono. Also got poke. Everything is always so ono. Support local & check them out!

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
Great little mart for snacks and poke. It's in a neighorhood with just a few parking spots out front. It's no frills but you can stock up on what you need for the day for sure!

Andrea A.

Yelp
Fresh. Simple. Perfect. I wish I could bring this to the mainland, I wish we had anything remotely close. Probably the best quality poke I had during my stay.

Jerry Y.

Yelp
Amazing local mom and pop poke spot. Been here twice and the ladies behind the poke counter are so nice and welcoming. Tried 3 flavors (0.25b each) but their spicy ninja is so good! Definitely recommend it. More of a hidden gem type spot.

Ryne T.

Yelp
My friend who lives on Maui recommended Kaohu Store for lunch. It's like a convenient store that sells fresh poke. They also have a daily special lunch plate. I would call to see what they got that day if you're unsure. Their poke bowl comes with your choice of poke and rice. Kinda neat how they package the poke with rice, you'll see when you go there. Their poke was fresh and ono!! I got the Samurai poke and shoyu ginger mix. Was so good i forgot to take a picture. The place reminds me of a mom and pops store. If you know mom and pops store then you'll know thats the best ones. Do yourself a favor and stop by Kaohu Store when you're on Maui and let the friendly staff serve you!!

Kathy V.

Yelp
Recommend by our Turo driver! Definitely a must in Maui. Spicy flying ninja was my favorite. However all the different types of poke was amazing. You cannot eat there, just a mom and pop place with fresh seafood.

Lena L.

Yelp
We love the hotdogs. Lol super simple but good. FYI, The poke doesn't come out til about 11am. Nice people that run the store! Not a crazy big store, but have a little bit of everything kind of snack and beverage.

Gena M.

Yelp
Old Kaohu Store... best grinds.. like the good old days.. best hot dogs, poke, mush I.. great service and convenient. Fast friendly service and ambiance brings back old Iao school memories.

Samantha C.

Yelp
hidden gem! if you know you know. best poke place in town. I love coming to grab lunch here after a dip in Iao or on my lunch breaks from work. snacks, drinks and candies too! support local this place is great.

Mai L.

Yelp
The poke here was sooo good!! I think it was the best I tried on Maui The spicy ninja is where it's at. Def recommend

Kennly A.

Yelp
This was the best poke I've had in Maui. I will dream about this place. It's a small mom and pop store with many varieties of poke, and they also have poi by the bags. The people who work there were really friendly. They also have icee flavors! There's a few parking spots in the front, with a 5 minute parking limit, so get in, grab the best poke on the island, and then leave so someone else can park. They're closed on weekends so go during the week!

Joy S.

Yelp
Wowowow this place is amazingggg and they hands down have the best poke on the island. The fish is fresh and so delicious. I got a variety of poke but my favorite was hamachi. I literally went back the same day 30 mins before my flight tonget a second serving. Theres parking in front of the shop and everyone was so nice. My favorite place on maui and 10/10 recommend

Lam M.

Yelp
Ok this hole in the wall market is amazing! I'm so glad we found this place on yelp and decided to swing by. The poke is extremely fresh and there are so many different flavors to choose from. When we got here around 10ish, it was still too early and they were still in the process of setting out their selection so the lady behind the counter told us to come back in half an hour. We decided to wait and am so glad we did! We got the spicy ninja, hawaiian style and salmon poke. All were super tasty. Note that this is a grab and go place. There is nowhere to sit down and eat. The parking lot fits around 4-5 cars and there is a sign that you cannot park and eat there. This is located in between warehouses and is definitely not an easy to find location, but I'd highly recommend stopping by for some grab and go poke if you're nearby.

Jessi Lynne B.

Yelp
Oldie but goodie still serving top notch poke! Was craving poke and happy I was in the area. Fish just melts in your mouth it's so fresh and the seasonings don't take away from the fish. Chose to get a poke bowl and love that they separate the hot rice not to cook your fish. Opted for two choices with a little extra since it's been forever since I've been in. Pleased with all my choices (shoyu, inamona, chili pepper). I also love the hot dogs here and can't forget an icee for those hot days. Today's plate lunch special was chicken adobo but poke all the way. I hear their Hawaiian plate special on Fridays are really good! Love the vibe in here. All the workers are friendly and super quick service.

Lani T.

Yelp
I had this place bookmarked so I know what places to check out when I make it to Maui. This past weekend we did a short trip to Maui so I was excited to try this place. They have a small parking lot in front of the store and signs that say, "no school parking" and "can't eat and sit in the car" due to limited parking spaces. Totally understandable. When we entered the store, we were greeted by 2 ladies; very friendly. I went straight to the poke, however, they didn't have what I wanted which was the salmon poke so I made do with a 2 choice poke bowl that consisted of shoyu ahi and ogo ahi. They separate the poke from the rice because of hot and cold items. The fish was so fresh! The seasoning was perfect for both poke. I can't wait to try other things. My friend raves about one of the spicy ones but that'll be for another time.

Traci F.

Yelp
If I could give this place more than five stars I would! They have the best Hawaiian plate on the island. It includes laulau, kalua pork, lomi salmon, macaroni salad, and rice all for $14.99. The laulau is juicy and unwrapped so it's easy to eat. The kalua pork is juicy and seasoned perfectly. The lomi salmon is fresh and generously portioned. In fact, the whole plate is big enough to share. The Hawaiian plate is available every Friday. It used to be every other Friday but it was made into a weekly special by popular demand. Maybe it will turn into a daily special one day! It's recommended that you call in your order ahead of time because they get busy. We also got some chili pepper inamona poke because they also have some of the best poke on the island!

Samy S.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a quick lunch today, a small unassuming store with some snacks and drinks and a poke counter. Nice selection of poke, which can be ordered with rice, as well as a rotating lunch special, which happened to be beef teriyaki today. Ordered the ginger shoyu poke and it was delicious! Served with a separate container of rice, which was a generous portion. Very quick service, but you have to take your food to go. Luckily the woman helping us gave us a great park recommendation where I enjoyed the delicious poke! Would definitely stop in whenever I'm in the area.

Andrea A.

Yelp
We sought out this hole in the wall for reviews of its hamachi poke (though we prefer the more sesame-infused version served up by Times). Despite that, their ahi is incredible fresh, and what earned them the 4th star. Go early in the day - they sell out. We also got the pickled ogo, which was seasoned nicely, but I just prefer limu.

Sean Y.

Yelp
Having tried poke on almost all the islands, this is still one of my favorite places! I've had almost all the different types and nothing has let me down. My go to is a spicy ahi and ginger shoyu poke bowl with a side of dynamite poke! No idea what's in the dynamite poke besides imitation crab and clams I think? But it pairs really well with the shoyu ginger sauce that soaks into the rice! Amazing! Also they have old school red hot dogs with Mayo mustard sauce! A must! If you're even remotely close to the area you need to stop here and get a poke bowl or two!

Phil H.

Yelp
Kaohu has the best ahi poke in Maui hands down. Nothing else is remotely close to the same level. I would start with the Shoyu and then branch out to Spicy Ninja, Ogo, and whatever looks interesting to you.

Henry H.

Yelp
This is the go to grind for legit poke. Definitely the best poke in all of maui. Cute little mom and pop store that's been open since the "good ol days." Service is fast and friendly. Fridays they have a Hawaiian plate that is heavenly.

Yelp
I gotta give it up to my Yelp buddy on Maui - Maria P., for posting annoddah winnah's on Maui!!!! Lately I've been on a "poke kick", and while working in Wailuku last week, when it was time for lunch I decided to open up my Yelp app. to see if I could find a joint that serves poke. Low & behold while looking though Yelp I see - "Kaohu Store" for poke, then when I opened up the site, I see my friend - Maria P.'s wonderful review. Since I'm always down to try new places, I decided to give this place a try. Where is the Kaohu Store located???? The Kaohu Store is tucked away between a few government buildings in old Wailuku town. If you folks know where "Ichiban Okazuya" is, just head down the road a few short blocks as the Kaohu Store is just down the street. There are a few parking stalls in front of the store, and when I came that afternoon, I did not have an issues securing a parking space. As I walked into the store, I was greeted right away, and I could clearly see that this store is real old skool mom & pop kinda joint (if you know what I mean). The Kaohu Store basically sells drinks (alcoholic drinks & soda), they sell a few plate lunch specials, and of course...........what I came for, the POKE! The poke selection is not extremely big, but what I can honestly tell you folks is.......what they offer here, it's really FRESH!!! After looking over the small poke selection, I decided to get a 2 item poke bowl, so I ended up getting the Dynamite Poke & the Fresh Ginger Poke on White Rice (sorry they don't do Brown Rice here). What can I say about the poke? Like I said before, the poke selection is not too big, but what they serve here is really fresh! I especially like the Fresh Ginger Poke! The poke was fresh, and on the sweeter side, and you can actually taste the ginger in the shoyu based sauce they used for the ahi. The Dynamite Poke, although it looked like Spaghetti Mac Salad, it was actually Imitation Crab in a spicy mayonnaise type of sauce. Not bad, but I think I liked the Fresh Ginger Poke a little better. I liked the way this business packed my poke, as they separated the poke from the rice, and you have the option of putting all together yourself. It's nice that they kept the rice separate, just in case if the rice is still hot, the hot rice won't cook up the poke. The Kaohu Store is basically a grab & go kinda place, there is no place to sit down & eat, so bear in mind of that if you want to pick up some food from this joint. As for me, I basically bought my food from here, then I drove down to the Maui Lani Safeway & purchased a drink from Safeway, then I used their covered outdoor tables to consume my poke bowl............Bruddah Fran is akamai, 'eh? Lol! Looking for fresh ono poke??? Give the Kaohu Store a try!

Yelp
Unassuming store with some candy and really, come here for the poke and plate lunch. Solid peas curry plate, and good poke. No restroom, nowhere to eat on premises, take and go. Will be back next time we need to grab a bite en route to the airport!

Maria P.

Yelp
Kaohu store is a longtime Maui institution. Majority of locals are familiar with this mom & pop shop that was first established way way back in the 1940's. They closed up shop in 2012 for a time, but has since been under new ownership and revived to it's former glory. They continue to provide snacks, munchies, & good eats to students at Wailuku Elementary, Iao School, and state and county offices nearby. They've even continued the popular red hot dog concoction with mayonnaise, mustard, and relish. You'll find their daily specials handwritten on paper and posted up on the pole next to their cash register which they also post to their Instagram account. This is as mom & pop as it gets, folks! Strangely, I was very amused by this and thought it was cute. Perhaps what many may not know about (or maybe the cat's out of the bag now?) is their fresh, killer poke that has been voted as one of the best on island across numerous publications. Ok, I don't eat poke (blasphemy!), but trust. This is the real kine poke. Not that mainland poke bowl stuff. They have a lot of variety too and even sell sashimi if that floats your boat. Obviously, I didn't pick-up any poke on my last visit, but I did manage to get their meat loaf lunch special and had to try their popular hot dog as well. Although I wasn't particularly wanting to eat meat loaf that day (their garlic chicken special sold out), I was pleasantly surprised once I took a bite. It wasn't your typical tomato based sauce meat loaf, but instead was smothered in delectable brown gravy. The meat was perfectly moist and had just the right amount of tang to it. The saltiness of the gravy was balanced out by a big scoop of white rice. I gobbled it all up one speed! The hot dog was pretty standard, but kinda brought me back to hanabata days when the shave ice lady used to come around. The good ol' days, yeah? And I think that's part of this little store's charm. Tons of nostalgia coming in waves at the sight of their storefront & at the bite of their hot dog. So don't let the exterior fool you or deter you from making a visit here. This is a small, family-run establishment, which I love to support even with their quirks and all.

Jeneka S.

Yelp
A local in Kihei told us about this spot, and it was hands down, best poke bowl I've ever had!

Team G.

Yelp
It's near the Maui prison, but well worth the drive. Fresh, authentic Maui seafood. Full of locals...that speaks volumes.

Kendall S.

Yelp
I've been going here since my intermediate school days at Iao School. After school was done, next stop was Kaohu Store for their amazing hot dogs and some other goodies. I think they've changed ownership, but the hotdogs are the same, and now they've added poke to the menu. Made fresh daily, their poke rivals or betters any other raw fish dishes on the island. Had some of their Spicy Ninja Poke recently, and some people who don't like spicy stuff actually kept eating more as long as the rice was there to help them deal with the spicy taste. I think I'll be going back soon. ;)

Maria D.

Yelp
Simply a gem of a find here for ahi poke!! I was on vacation and looking up places to find authentic poke and this is the one to try. They have a very small parking lot so you need to get in and get your stuff and get out so everyone else can get their poke too! Just look at the variety here. This is a market store that makes everything fresh. Definitely the place to try. I got the spicy ninja and the shoyu poke with some rice. If you're looking for spam musubi, get in early because it was all gone by the time we got their in the afternoon but I have no doubt it would have been great. Hawai'ian style poke is just the simple style and I got a little bit of that one as well. Pull into the scenic lookout or beach of your choice for an authentic poke picnic!

Chelsie T.

Yelp
This review is for the ogo, which is done with a unique twist. Ogo is a type of algae, but I just call it a type of seaweed (but I may be wrong). The ogo comes out to be a dark, deep red that is almost brownish in color so don't expect the type of seaweed you may be familiar with that comes wrapped with a sushi roll. There are 2 flavors available: shoyu (soy sauce) and namasu (Japanese pickled rice vinegar style). Both are excellent but a bit different than the ogo I grew up eating as I would boil it myself and eat it straight. The addition of the shoyu or namasu flavor keeps me coming back for more. Hope to try the fresh ahi poke if I become willing to switch things up, but I keep sticking with these two things because they're THAT good if you're an ogo fan.

Takumi N.

Yelp
One of the best if not the best poke spots on the island. They got a ton of different options for flavors and they got specials for plate lunches too highly recommend anyone stop by here on their trip to Maui

Thuong T.

Yelp
BEST POKE ON THE ISLAND OF MAUI!!!!!!! We wanted to stop by somewhere and get snacks and poke, and we were in the area and randomly found this place on Yelp. And let me tell you, WE WERE SOOOOO HAPPY WE FOUND THIS HIDDEN GEM. Words cannot explain how amazingly fresh and delicious all their poke was. they had salmon, tuna, and even hamachi!!!! And they came in so many different flavors. We seriously bought two of everything because it was that amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. And they also had other snacks and drinks and goodies as well! Oh yeah, they also have spam musubis !!

Gene A.

Yelp
Absolutely the best poke in town. Freshly caught fish to fork and amazing people willing to share they history of their wonderful island. Locals highly recommended this this place and they weren't wrong. Can't wait to make it back here again.

Nent E.

Yelp
Best poke on Maui hands down! Lovely and friendly staff all the time I come. They treat and talk to you like ohana!!!! Thank you kaohu store for being so kind and having amazing poke recipes!!

Han I.

Yelp
5 stars still stands! A lot of places have unfortunately suffered a bit during the pandemic and I felt like I had to be generous to give it good reviews, BUT Kaohu Store poke has not budged and does not disappoint. In the last month, I've tried poke from Oahu to the Big Island to here, at highly reputable establishments like Merriman's and Roy's, and this is STILL my favorite. The fish is just SO fresh here. The Ninja poke is the best and I will come here over and over again for that! The salmon poke is still a bit on the salty side (I think it just needs a bit laying off of the sauce). I was sad when I couldn't get my daily poke fix on Saturdays and Sundays. Love this place!

Zeizene M.

Yelp
Gotta try the Hawaiian plate special on Fridays!! Poke is always a winnah too & Everyone is always so friendly!! Daily specials sell out fast, suggest you go before the busy lunch rush Highly recommend this place!!

Chris I.

Yelp
Use to spend like $37 now I spend $50. Limited coming here 2x a month instead of 2x a week. Fresh Poke taste great but why still $25.99 a lb for poke when Fresh poke market prices of other stores at $18.99-$21.99?!

Luke G.

Yelp
So I always hear the commercials for this place and had never tried it until recently. I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT! The poke is AMAZING and you can definitely tell it's fresh fish and attention to detail in every variety. Kaohu is now a go to for my wife and I when we are running errands around town and want a quick picnic. Many mahalos to the owners and staff of this store for the authentic vibe and food!

Regina R.

Yelp
The hamachi poke is possibly the best i have ever had. Tried a bowl 1/2 ninja and 1/2 hamachi. I was able to try a sample before i made my selection. The rice is very good. Its fluffy and not blazing hot. Goes well with Poke. There is parking and they take debit/credit. Poke is $18.99 per pound. Was very fresh. Will try more flavors next time. The auntie that helped me was very sweet . With rice and my 2 flavors poke was about $11. Totally worth it for the quality of fish. The hamachi was soooo good.

Yelp
One of the special parts about this store is the combination of nostalgia and new in this store. From the red hot dogs and fresh musubi to the fresh caught cooler to counter poke. They have revolutionized the way poke is really approached on island. Locals know the difference between fresh and frozen. They only serve choice ahi cuts for their poke. Sashimi platters are available in the counter or large orders by request. Miso butterfish marinated, and sometime even collar in the cooler. Their pupus are so ono and fresh prepared too. One of the amazing traits about their poke is the depth of flavor and umami in every bite. I swear their are 20 layers of flavor in every scoop. Please come support this business as they are one of the only ones open during COVID-19 closures.

Yelp
Go here for Poke, you will not be disappointed. Got some hotdogs for the kids as well, they had a weird red coloration to them but tasted OK.

Yelp
I was born and raised on Maui, Hawai'i. In 1998, I relocated to Seattle. To this day, I haven't found perfect poke in Seattle. It's been over 15 years since I've been back to Maui. I went back last week for a funeral and as soon as I got off the plane, I went to Foodland to get some poke. It wasn't as great as I remember. In fact, we have Uwajimaya's here in Seattle and their poke is much better. I was told by a cousin to try the poke at Kaohu Store. Sure enough, my second day back on Maui, I drove there to see if what she said was true. Parking is a bit hard to find, but I didn't mind. When I entered the store, I noticed how very small it was. I went to the counter and saw their big variety of poke and it was like heaven. I tried their ginger shoyu ahi poke and furikake salmon poke and WOW. BEST. POKE. EVER. I'm back in Seattle as I write this review. I just called them to see if they ship poke to the mainland. Unfortunately, they do not. So I'll have to wait until my next visit to Maui to get some more perfect poke.

Yelp
Didn't get to try the poke (they didn't have any) but... Pros: - Friendly people - Good spam musubi; perfect rice to spam ratio and good shoyu sauce unlike others who just make it plain.

Yelp
Had three kinds of poke and the pork and peas rice plate. The poke was among the best I have had on Maui (between this place and Tamura's). And the pork and peas was delicious. It would be great if they had an area to dine in (outdoors or indoors).
