We ordered their chef tasting menu. As this is a regional Kerala cuisine special restaurant, I did not like the food that much. The main reason for this is that my pallet is probably not meant for eating this. But I loved some items. and the dessert coconut pudding was amazing. The service was amazing. We ordered aapam for our son, he ate 2 portions. Alvin is a very good host. Lots of love ❤❤❤❤❤

Man without the recommendation of my Malyali friends I wouldn't have a clue about this place, we had almost a bit of everything from the menu. Lovely and unique and i am grateful to be introduced to this cruise from here. the rice balls, pudding and especially the chicken here is outstanding to go with rice. The seafood is also really nice. You gonna enjoy this experience for sure.

Had dinner at this place and most of the dishes were outstanding. The crab that weighed about 1 kg was succulent. There was enough meat for four people. The masala was very mild and tasted great. Beef idi erachi was the star of the show, it was cooked to perfection. The beef fry was also good. The dessert was excellent as well, especially the cloud pudding. The kappa went well with the crab masala. Theory let down was the prawn kizhi which was bland and and the chicken fry which had no life to it. Overall a great experience of Kerala food. Service was Albin was top notch and he was available throughout for any details.

Blast of flavours! Just sit back n enjoy your food. Well managed, very good service Order 4 combos - mamangam , Malabar musings, rajayogi and chati choru. I would suggest trying out combos rather than going for specific items . You can explore many tastes through combos. Don't forget to order their coconut pudding. It's costly but worth it.

Wow, what an experience at Kappa Chakka Kandhari in Chennai! They serve authentic Kerala cuisine, but with a twist that makes every dish feel fresh and exciting. Being South Indian, I’m quite familiar with the cuisine, yet I was genuinely surprised at how beautifully it was presented and how incredible everything tasted. We opted for their tasting menu, which included a generous spread of starters and mains. Each preparation truly blew my mind. If you’re a fan of South Indian non-veg food, this place is an absolute must-try!

Delicious food, both the menu and a la carte option, is worth a try. I really enjoyed the fish menu but all food is very delicious. Very friendly staff and they give very good recommendations! Pictures are for 2 visits so yes, it was so good I had to come back.

I had dinner with my family here. Ambience and the staff behaviour are the major positives at this restaurant. This restaurant calls it a authentic kerala cuisine but I was shocked to see no Parotta on the menu. We ordered a giant lobster which was ok but never worth its exorbitant price. Puttu biryani was bland , like normal puttu. Gravy sides were good. Kandhari icecream was a pleasant surprise. On the whole very very pricey restaurant with average Kerala cuisine. NO PAROTTA.. U GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!

**First time dining at this restaurant after always ordering in, and what an experience it was!** The waitstaff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They take the time to explain each dish in detail, ensuring you make an informed decision. We ordered two thalis (1 veg & 1 nonveg) and a Kerala-style prawn biryani, and the food was absolutely amazing. The service is truly top-notch, and the desserts and beverages are just as delightful, making the entire dining experience exceptional. Since I prefer less spicy food, I mentioned it to the staff, and they recommended the perfect dishes to suit my taste buds. Keep up the fantastic work – your commitment to customer satisfaction is unmatched! Instagram - Review_honestly
