We recently had dinner at this restaurant and the experience was wonderful. The food tasted amazing, and it truly felt like enjoying Kerala’s authentic cuisine in Chennai. The Fish Moilee was rich and flavorful, the squid was perfectly cooked, and the deep-fried crab was crispy and delicious. To end the meal, the Palada Payasam was the perfect sweet treat. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality and authentic Kerala taste make it worth it. If you are craving Kerala-style food in Chennai, I would definitely recommend visiting this place at least once. Thank you.

We ordered their chef tasting menu. As this is a regional Kerala cuisine special restaurant, I did not like the food that much. The main reason for this is that my pallet is probably not meant for eating this. But I loved some items. and the dessert coconut pudding was amazing. The service was amazing. We ordered aapam for our son, he ate 2 portions. Alvin is a very good host. Lots of love ❤❤❤❤❤

Had a wonderful lunch here today and truly felt like I was dining in Kerala itself. The dishes were full of authentic flavors — perfectly spiced, beautifully presented, and made with so much care. From the soft kappa to the tangy kandhari touch, every bite told a story of traditional Kerala cuisine.

A very decent place for a decent crowd. Secondly this place has lot of hype and frankly not worth the hype which it has created. It’s completely Kerala cuisine restaurant. Typical Kerala type dishes, no chance of any local food. Food tastes good, especially all mutton based dishes are great. But too expensive for the portion ( very little) what they offer.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and to our surprise it was amazing! We throughly enjoyed Kerala cuisine here and the staff were friendly and polite. The food was served hot and fresh. We enjoyed our food here.

KCK has become a legendary place in Chennai for Kerala food. The food was incredible. We had kallushop chicken and prawns for starters, the prawn was a real show stealer. We added in a serving of avoli fry (white pomfret). The fish was deep fried but incredibly soft inside. For main course, we ordered a serving of white rice and red rice to split among four people and paired it with a chatti meen curry. A lovely mild fish curry with a coconut milk base and two Karimeens soaking in the flavours was a filling dish. We also tried the mutton potato curry. I wasn't a fan of the gravy but the mutton was so tender and melt-in-the-mouth. For drinks, we tried the sharjah shake, KCK's take on the banana smoothie. It was a bit too sweet for me but I gulped it down nevertheless. We finished the meal with tender coconut pudding. Very light, just the right amount of sweetness with the comfort of a pana cotta's texture. My mother had the paruppu Payasam which she wiped off in minutes. It is a bit pricey but a great place for festival get togethers. Our only suggestion would be to make the air conditioning stronger. There's plenty to make the body sweat: waiting time, jam packed restaurant, the flavours of the food. Help out your customers a bit there too!

Wow, what an experience at Kappa Chakka Kandhari in Chennai! They serve authentic Kerala cuisine, but with a twist that makes every dish feel fresh and exciting. Being South Indian, I’m quite familiar with the cuisine, yet I was genuinely surprised at how beautifully it was presented and how incredible everything tasted. We opted for their tasting menu, which included a generous spread of starters and mains. Each preparation truly blew my mind. If you’re a fan of South Indian non-veg food, this place is an absolute must-try!

Man without the recommendation of my Malyali friends I wouldn't have a clue about this place, we had almost a bit of everything from the menu. Lovely and unique and i am grateful to be introduced to this cruise from here. the rice balls, pudding and especially the chicken here is outstanding to go with rice. The seafood is also really nice. You gonna enjoy this experience for sure.
